Nolan Bushnell, Founder of Atari followed us on Twitter! I was a game enthusiast, and when I worked in Dubai UAE from November 2005 to December 2014, I was able to buy and collect the latest Game Console. I also have an old console collections such as Atari and Family Computer Game. So it was a joy to learn that a prominent video game personality is following us on Twitter.

A week ago I have been watching Video Game The Movie in a repeat mode wherein game gurus have been asked who they think is the father of video games and majority of them think it was Nolan Bushnell and just yesterday I received a Twitter notification that Mr. Nolan Bushnell @NolanBushnell just followed us on our Official Twitter account @egamerscentrum on Twitter.

I tried to check the account and it was indeed a verified Nolan Bushnell account. Thank you so much Mr Bushnell for following our humble account.

Nolan Kay Bushnell who was born February 5, 1943 is an American engineer and entrepreneur who founded both Atari, Inc. and the Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza-Time Theaters chain. Bushnell has been inducted into the Video Game Hall of Fame and the Consumer Electronics Association Hall of Fame, received the BAFTA Fellowship and the Nations Restaurant News “Innovator of the Year” award, and was named one of Newsweek's "50 Men Who Changed America.".

Let's Volt In at the TOYCON 2023! Are you ready for TOYCON 20 this July 7-9 in SMX MOA? According to GMA Network, the country's No. 1 Primetime Series Voltes V Legacy will also be telecast in Japan, Cuba and more countries are interested to air Voltes V Legacy in their country.

The pilot episode of the show was aired on May 8 and it has become the top trending topic on Twitter Philippines and garnered 14% audience share against TV5's Batang Quaipo with 9%. The Cinematic experience was also extended in all SM Cinemas.

The media outlet IGN Southeast Asia described Voltes V: Legacy as "the Philippine answer to Power Rangers and Voltron.

Production sets had been made for Camp Big Falcon, the Boazanian Skull Ship and the Boazanian Earth underground base. The costumes took a year to produce, undergoing several revisions. Reyes said that they had to establish a "good marriage within the classic Voltes V look and one that's acceptable nowadays" when it comes to the series' visuals, adding that they deviate from using spandex for the costumes.

Host Cambodia is currently leading the medal race with a total of 9 Medals, 5 of which are Gold and 4 Silver. The Philippines is in 2nd Place with a total of 7 medals, Thailand on third place with 3 medals and Laos with 1 Gold. Indonesia, Singapore, and Vietnam are yet to haul their first gold medal as of this posting.

Philippines Kaila Napolis struck the first gold medal for Team Philippines on Thursday, beating a highly-favored foe in Jessa Khan in front of a hometown crowd in women’s jiu-jitsu at the SEA Games 2023.

Both are very useful in Analyzing and giving tips and best practices on how to improve our Websites. One of the tips I learned from PSI is the importance of Alt Attributes on the images we include on our blog post. Informative elements should aim for short, descriptive alternate text. Decorative elements can be ignored with an empty alt attribute.

PSI reports on the user experience of a page on both mobile and desktop devices and provides suggestions on how that page may be improved.

Sometimes we really cannot avoid forgetting our MPIN. Here's what you can do if you forgot your GCash MPIN since it happens to me for numerous times. There are several ways that you can reset your MPIN if you forgot your MPIN or got locked out of your account due to a failed login attempt. Check what applies to you so we can give you the best answer. Since MPIN is four digits only, GCash advised not to use numbers related to your birthday or your mobile number since it is much easier to be guessed by an intruder.

If you are Fully Verified GCash user, but do not have security questions:

If you did not set up security questions on the app, but are a fully verified user, follow these steps:

STEP 1: Launch the GCash App and tap Forgot MPIN? On the log-in screen
STEP 2: Tap Send Code from the pop-up screen. You will receive a 6-digit authentication code to your GCash Registered Mobile number
STEP 3: Enter the Authentication Code you received and tap Submit. Tap “Tap Here to resend” if you didn’t get the code
STEP 4: Answer the Account Information of your GCash Account.
You only have three (3) attempts to answer all questions correctly. If you enter any wrong answer up to your third attempt, you must wait for 24 hours to try again

As an active SSS member having a monthly contribution automatically deduct by my company on my allowance, I would like to know my SSS Benefit upon retirement. Here's the tutorial on How to Compute your SSS Monthly Retirement Pension.

The SSS retirement benefit is a cash benefit paid either as a monthly pension or a as lump sum to a member who can no longer work due to old age. Those who are receiving monthly pensions have their pensions doubled every December as a bonus from SSS.

Types of retirement benefits:

Monthly pension – a lifetime cash benefit paid to a retiree on a regularl basis.
Lump sum amount – one-time payment granted to a retiree. The amount is equal to the total contributions paid by the member and/or by his/her ERs, including interest earned

How to Calculate your Pension:

1. Go to SSS Retirement Calculator, HERE!

2. Enter your Date of Birth, Month and Year Started as an SSS Member and Monthly Salary/Earnings.

3. Click Compute.

SSS Calculator will then compute your Monthly Pension as shown below:

Qualifying Conditions

Member must have paid at least 120 monthly contributions prior to the semester of retirement and is any of the following, whichever is applicable

at least 60 years old and separated from employment or has ceased to be an SE/OFW/Household Helper (optional retirement);
at least 65 years old whether still employed/SE, working as OFW/Household Helper or not (technical retirement);
at least 55 years old and separated from employment or has ceased to be an SE, if an “underground mineworker” (optional retirement);
at least 60 years old whether still employed/SE or not, if an “underground mineworker” (technical retirement); or
a total disability pensioner who has recovered from disability and is at least 60 years old (or at least 55 years old, if an underground mineworker).

How to Check if Google already indexed your blog post URL

After you post your Blog URL, you will need to ask Google to Index your page by going to Google Search Console. Click URL Inspection and paste the URL for Google to analyze. You can click the Live Test button at the upper right side of the page. Google will then tell you that "The URL is Available to Google", page can be indexed and if the page is usable on mobile and the date and time your page has been successfully crawled. Page URL being crawled is not yet index so you have to request indexing of your page.

Google index page faster than Bing Webmaster Tools. Sometimes when I submit a URL, after a couple of minutes the URL will already be indexed.

To check if the URL that you have submitted has been indexed already, just repeat the process above. Google will then tell you that "URL is on Google", page is indexed and video is indexed if there is a video embedded on your post.

How to Request Bing for Mass Indexing of your Blog URL's

Here's the tutorial on How to Request Bing for Mass Indexing of your Blog URL's. Instead of submitting one URL for Bing to index, you can send a multiple URL at one time and a maximum of 100 URL's per day. For most sites however, they allow to submit 10,000 URL per day.

To submit URLs using the URL submission feature, Click Submit URLs, add one URL per line, and click Submit. The URLs are immediately evaluated for search indexation and, when quality criteria are met, the content will appear in Bing search results. This is very useful in getting important content indexed quickly.

1. Go to Microsoft Bing Webmaster

2. Click URl Submission

3. Click Submit URL's

4. Copy ht eURL from your blog post

5. Paste on the Submit URL's box

6. After submitting the first URL just press enter to submit another URL in another line.

7. After putting all the URL on the box, press Submit and you're done.

Bing recommends using the URL submission tool to get web content indexed (as soon as it is published) or updated online. As a webmaster, you can submit URLs to Bing programmatically through the Submit URLs API or the URL submission feature in Bing Webmasters Tools.

The URL submission feature in Bing Webmaster Tools is currently restricted to root domains only, and will not accept submission of subdomains. Even if sites are mapped to subdomains, the quota is allocated at the domain level and not at the subdomain level.

The Robots Exclusion Protocol or robots.txt is a standard for site owners or webmasters to regulate how bots crawl their website. As a webmaster you may find it difficult to understand and follow all the necessary formats and syntax related to robots.txt. This leads to inadequate (suboptimal) crawling by robots that is unfavorable to the search engine (as it reduces the comprehensiveness and freshness of SERP) as well as your website (decrease in website traffic).
