Forgiveness is not easy, but it is necessary. When Jesus tells us not to limit our forgiveness, we know that it is going to be hard to do. But as we think about all that God has forgiven us, it helps us to be able to forgive our brother.

Many of the things that Jesus said are difficult. They are not necessarily difficult to understand, but often difficult to put into practice. It is easy to say that one is born again, but to be born anew, from above, is much more than just words we say. It is a transformation, it is a change that is worked in us when we allow God to change us through his Spirit.

King Uzziah, or Azariah as he is called in 2 Kings, is another king of Judah that went from some pretty high highs to some pretty low lows. Though his reign started well with faithfulness to the Lord, it ended in disgrace because he allowed his pride to lead to his downfall.
