Pattaya, Thailand – The second edition of the Football Pattaya Cup 2026 concluded on May 16th, 2026, at the Pattaya City School 7 (Ban Nong Phang Kae) football stadium in Bang Lamung district, Chonburi province. The tournament, which ran from May 2 to May 16, successfully reinforced Pattaya’s image as a “Sports City” while promoting community harmony through grassroots football.

Mayor Poramese Ngamphichet and Deputy Mayor Krisana Boonsawat presided over the closing ceremony and presented awards to the winners. They were joined by Pattaya City Council members, Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization representatives, and distinguished guests.

The competition featured two categories, Open (general public) and Senior, providing local residents an opportunity to showcase their talents, stay active, and strengthen community bonds. The event aligned with Pattaya’s policies on developing the city into a Sports City and advancing sports tourism to boost quality of life and the local economy.

In the highly anticipated Open category final, Huai Yai Classic faced Isan Pattaya Club. The first half belonged to Isan Pattaya, who stormed into a 2-0 lead, delighting their supporters. Huai Yai Classic mounted a strong comeback in the second half, equalizing the score at 2-2.

However, the match descended into chaos in the closing stages. A Huai Yai Classic player was shown a red card, triggering frustration among spectators. Upset fans threw water bottles onto the pitch, forcing the referee to blow the whistle and abandon the remainder of the match. The championship was ultimately decided by a penalty shootout, with Isan Pattaya Club emerging victorious 7-6 to claim the 2026 Pattaya Cup title.

Throughout the tournament, strong participation and positive feedback from players and fans highlighted the power of sport in building health, relationships, and community strength. Organizers expressed satisfaction with the overall success of the event and thanked everyone for their cooperation.

The Football Pattaya Cup has once again proven to be a major event on Pattaya’s sporting calendar, blending exciting competition with the city’s ambition to become a premier destination for sports and tourism.

Pattaya, May 5th, 2026– Pattaya City is gearing up to host the highly anticipated “Pattaya International Pride Festival 2026,” set to take place from June 26 to 28. The event, now in its seventh year, promises to deliver a spectacular celebration of diversity, inclusion, and equality along Pattaya Beach.

Deputy Mayor Krisana Boonsawat presided over a preparatory meeting at Pattaya City Hall, with relevant agencies attending in full force to ensure the festival’s success.

The Pattaya International Pride Festival has become a globally awaited event, drawing massive crowds each year. Previous editions have attracted more than 10,000 participants in the parade alone, featuring up to 100 fully booked parade floats stretching over a 2.8-kilometer route. Organizers want to once again boost the local economy and tourism sector by attracting both Thai and international visitors while promoting LGBTQIA+ rights, equality, and greater understanding of gender diversity and inclusion.

During the meeting, officials discussed key operational aspects, including venue setup, security measures, medical services, traffic management, and public cleanliness.

Traffic arrangements, particularly on Pattaya Second Road, remain under review. No final decision has been made on whether the road will be closed or kept open during the event. Authorities plan additional consultations with relevant agencies to minimize disruption to residents and motorists.

The festival is expected to reinforce Pattaya’s reputation as a welcoming destination that celebrates diversity while delivering significant economic benefits to the city. Further details on the program and traffic updates will be announced as planning progresses.

Perched above Pattaya’s glittering shoreline, LAY Beach Club’s first anniversary celebration, aptly titled Sabores del Mar was nothing short of a masterclass in coastal lifestyle indulgence.

As the sun dipped into the Gulf of Thailand, the venue transformed into a luminous playground of Mediterranean elegance, where every detail felt curated to perfection.

From the outset, the atmosphere struck a rare balance: refined yet relaxed, sophisticated yet effortlessly fun. Guests embraced the “blue and white sunset chic” dress code, creating a sea of radiant silhouettes that mirrored the hues of sky and ocean. The early evening soundtrack stroked a smooth, ambient, and perfectly calibrated set with a languid tempo. LAY Beach Club does that so well.

At the heart of the celebration was the food; an exceptional showcase of authentic Spanish tapas and Mediterranean cuisine. The culinary line-up alone signaled the evening’s ambition, bringing together Chef William Stringfellow, Chef Lluis Cantons, and Chef Juan Ignacio Garcia Racionero. Their collaboration delivered a menu that was both technically accomplished and deeply soulful. Guests moved between live stations sampling classics such as patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, paella de marisco, and delicate fideuà, each dish executed with precision and respect for tradition.

Complementing the cuisine was an equally impressive beverage program. Fine wines, from crisp whites to robust reds flowed freely, while beautifully crafted sangrias and refreshing gin sorbets added a playful, contemporary twist. The drinks were not merely accompaniments; they were integral to the experience, enhancing the Mediterranean narrative of the evening.

As always The Lay Beach staff, clearly well-versed in the art of hospitality, were attentive without being intrusive, and their genuine warmth elevated the entire event. Smiles were a constant, service was seamless, and every guest interaction felt personal, a staple of a venue operating at the top of its game.

As night fell, the energy subtly shifted. The ambiance deepened, lighting softened, and the celebration took on a more vibrant, almost theatrical quality. Yet even at its liveliest, the event retained its sense of elegance, a testament to the thoughtful curation behind it. The speeches were heartfelt and everyone glowed, obviously happy to be involved in the organisation.

LAY Beach Club has already earned a reputation as one of Pattaya’s most compelling beachfront destinations, and this anniversary celebration only reinforced that standing. With its panoramic ocean views, sophisticated design, and unwavering commitment to quality, it is more than a venue, it is an experience.

In every sense, this was a spectacular celebration. For those seeking a destination that seamlessly blends world-class cuisine, impeccable service, and an unforgettable seaside atmosphere, LAY Beach Club is not just recommended, it is essential.
