This full Moon was glanced over in Sunday’s Celestial forecast. Today we want to go more in depth with the interpretation or explanation. The astrology is at the end.

Remember, Mercury is still retrograde in the sign of Leo with the Sun in the full moon, so glitches still abound.

This full Moon is significant because of its beneficial planetary relationships and the rising of the fixed star Sirius, the Dog Star, above the horizon. This is called the heliacal rising of Sirius. Some astrologers write about the Lion’s Gate which is at this time every year because of the heliacal rising of Sirius.

All full moons are when the Sun and Moon are opposite each other in the sky. You well know that people act differently during the full Moon. Some do not sleep because of the brightness in the night sky and the pull of energy between the Sun and Moon. Those who are already tense may act out. Areas of the body are also prominent during a full Moon, also which is well known to doctors and law enforcement people. For this full Moon the areas of the body are the heart, upper back, high cholesterol, calves of the legs and possibly mental situations.

Communications, diplomacy and inventions go smoothly and are well received, with opportunities for action. However, the full Moon pulls some of that energy into ego and control, asking for hard-to-achieve cooperation. Also, there could be antagonism to the point of outright fighting or war if diplomacy fails. The frustrated diplomat may find success by appealing to cooler-minded individuals to work for the highest good of all humanity instead of only to one’s territory. The Vatican may be that entity.

There are two areas of potential conflict: the self-centered strongman who is trying to bully populations or large groups of people and the impulsive, pugilistic one who is antagonizing a fearless, active new alliance with well-established and idealistic partners. This could be the same person or country acting in different arenas. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Off to the side so-to-speak are the protective “mothers” wanting to help but are disconnected.

USA: continued focus on the homeland itself, could be the physical White House or the land across the country with loss of infrastructure from floods. Continued partisan opposition. Possible financial crisis because of too much recent spending that comes to light. There could be good and expansive agreements or treaties or a hubristic attitude toward immigrants and legal agreements. However, an unexpected change from the President could ease tensions if acknowledging the other’s situation is taken into consideration. The office of the presidency is active and could be either cooperative with the Vatican or coercive to all. Country-wide, America is off to the side watching. Interestingly, the Vatican may be the reasonable voice to bring a new perspective, possibly working with China and France. Either opposition could be between China and France against Iran, Canada and Mexico, or they try all to cooperate and come to a new understanding.

Personal signs:

The full Moon is in the signs of Leo and Aquarius, who will feel it the most with control-issue relationship challenges. Leo is not being paid enough attention to from Aquarius and Aquarius feels control from Leo. Taurus and Scorpio also experience control issues, but more like financial situations. Aries and Sagittarius could help Leo; Gemini and Libra could help Aquarius. Aries and Libra have a leadership and relationship oppositional situation; Cancer and Capricorn experience changes and leadership challenges. Gemini, Libra and Aquarius enjoy much harmony and astrologically are the diplomats and harmonizers for this full Moon. Cancer is protected and helped, and in turn helps others. Pisces is quietly behind the scenes but enjoys nice situations with Cancer and Scorpio. Virgo continues to attract persons and situations from the past. Taurus has the chance to be with Cancer or family for a nice time. Sagittarius the peacemaker has the opportunity to act cooperatively with diplomatic Libra. This is general and your personal experience could be very different. A short reading with me could quickly tell you what you need to know.

The astrology:

There is a grand trine with Uranus at 01 Gemini, Pluto at 02 Aquarius and Mars at 01 Libra, which aspects the USA MC with trines from Uranus and Pluto, indicating success. This is offset by Mars at 01 Libra in opposition to both Saturn and Neptune at 01 Aries. Saturn-Neptune is conjunct the USA IC, with Mars at the USA Midheaven, creating an opposition between the population and the office of the president or executive branch. The Saturn-Neptune conjunction is sextile to both Pluto and Uranus, indicating opportunity for new and unusual cooperative efforts, if the opportunity offered by the sextiles are activated and accepted.

The fixed star Sirius is conjunct Jupiter and close with Venus in the sky, all in their exaltation sign of Cancer! Exaltation in astrology means the planets like being in that sign and symbolically act in their highest. This wide conjunction in Cancer should enhance Cancer USA, but it is all alone in the full-Moon horoscope. This indicates that the USA is alone in the world right now, offset from everybody else.

Mercury goes retrograde July 18 in the sign of Leo, so be prepared. For those of you with a retrograde Mercury in your chart, we ask you for communication advice. The rest of us need to be careful not to sign agreements, contracts or purchase electronic items. Of course, our electronics may malfunction. Travel is usually difficult under a Mercury retrograde, too, especially to Leo this time because Mercury retrograde is in your sign. However, as written previously, I’ve travel many times on the day when Mercury went retrograde or direct, and the situations had big changes, but for the better.

Uranus went into Gemini July 7, beginning seven years of change in the communication, Artificial Intelligence, computer, Bitcoin, and air-related activities. There may be big changes or breakthrough’s for lung diseases, arms and shoulders. Self-confidence is high, meaning possible too-impulsive decisions, especially for Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Your Gemini friends may suddenly change their lives, freeing themselves. Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces will experience freeing circumstances, Taurus and Cancer are neutral, Aries and Leo have opportunities or chances for exciting change, and Scorpio and Capricorn adjust to seemingly sudden circumstantial changes. There are chances for good communication with and about the automobile and space industry, but with challenges and adjustments. It is wise to pay attention to the details this week, to make sure communication is accurate without being too impulsive. Communication or the news may be dramatic and pushy but in harmony with the automobile or mechanical business, with creative advertising.

July 13: see-saw, quincunx day, with Cancer and Aquarius experiencing the need to accommodate mild changes. Saturn goes retrograde to the oft-written-about 00- and 01-degree, joining Neptune and in harmony, or sextile Uranus. Strengthening of idealistic aggressiveness, war and automobile activities with rapid change. Moon goes into Pisces, helping Pisces go forward.
July 14: No exact astrological relationships or aspect, meaning a neutral day.
July 15: Sun and Moon in harmony, indicating a nice day or everyone, especially for Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces, with Taurus and Virgo invited to family or close friend fun.
July 16: Moon goes into Aries, joining the Chiron and challenging Libra, Cancer and Capricorn, and offering Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini and Aquarius an adventure.
July 17: quarter or half Moon in the signs of Cancer and Aries. A day full of impulsive changes for Cancer, Aries, Libra and Capricorn. Your friends of these signs enjoy change and may be hurriedly going from one subject to another, skipping the details, which trip them up. Virgo can be a stabilizer for everyone by providing common-sense, practical details, working with Taurus for calm. Scorpio and Pisces may help Cancer, with Leo and Sagittarius helping Aries.
July 18: Mercury goes retrograde in Leo, and although in harmony with Aries, Sagittarius, Gemini and Libra, be careful of your communications, electronics and if possible do not sign anything until after Mercury goes direct August 11. The Moon goes into calm Taurus, and there is a chance for Gemini and Leo to create a good social time.
July 19: unexpected situation challenging self-confidence, especially with the automobile and mechanical areas. Cancer and Aries enjoy spirited conversation, with an Aries unexpected hesitation. The Moon in Taurus indicates cooperation with Virgo to offer practical solutions and calm and able to help Cancer.
July 20: Moon goes into Gemini, joining Uranus and Venus, with speedy communications and your loved one talking a lot. A good social day for Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Leo and Aries, but… Mars joins the South Node in Virgo, bringing to light mistakes in planning, with systems out of order. crops ready to harvest either have help or the system is thwarted or stopped. Stress for Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces. Cancer and Capricorn may offer to lead, with their offer accepted for the situation to be helped.
July 21: yesterday’s mistakes visible for correction and may be ignored. Gemini, Virgo and Pisces irritated with each other about practical details, with Sagittarius trying to make peace. Libra may offer diplomacy and Capricorn offer quiet leadership.

USA: Several dramatic happenings: go to Reuters.com for details: the good news first. Duty Collections bolster Trump’s View of tariffs as big revenue source. Then: State Dept. starts firing more than1,350 workers, and continuing aggressive ICE farm raids of workers. Continued change in how the president and the USA is perceived by the world. July 16 more deportations of younger persons and women, July 19 opposition or change in the balance of payments and debt. The duty collections have reduced the dept somewhat, with July 16 experiencing opposition to the announcement. So far, the president is receiving some success with agreements and deportations. However, the big astrological aspect is the USA progressed MC conjunct Natal Uranus in the sixth area of farm workers, medical workers and employees. This shows the obvious dramatic and drastic changes in these areas, which continues until at least January 1, 2026. Copper tariffs my slow the rapid pace of computer-related activities because of copper shortages or too-high prices.

Saturn goes retrograde July 13 in Aries, possibly indicating a reversal in automobile or war activity. USA is sending war materiel to Ukraine via the UN. Mercury goes retrograde July 18, which is good for America because we have a retrograde Mercury in the natal chart. Good agreements with allies may happen during this 3-week period. However, the president is a Gemini, and Mercury is his patron or ruling planet, so his decisions may be reversed after Aug 11. As you know, I do not publish any president’s celestial forecasts because of adding to the collective mental force. We do have forums to talk about the situations, which will be resumed in September after your vacations.

Celestial Forecast July 4 to 14.

Week of July 4 to July 14

Just have to share our Fourth of July. This was the celestial forecast: Looks like good family time with good food, possibly a new creative show. Either people arrive unexpectedly or do not arrive at all, for no fault of their own.

July 4 was just like that here. The new creative show was the Exotic Animal Race at Delaware Park. The crowd was unexpectedly large. My sister and me went to Delaware Park for the Exotic Animal Races. They had zebras, camels and ostriches. The weather was perfect with blue skies and a slight breeze. This was a family event and the park was filled, with no seats inside or outside. It was a most harmonious day. Everybody was friendly and happy to be there. The children were excited and happy, too. The videos cannot capture the joy and laughter of those of us who watched and those who were on the track during the races. We had a wonderful time. Afterwards, my niece served us delicious oysters-on-the-half-shell and lobster in the shell for dinner.

Uranus goes into whimsical, unpredictable and loves to talk Gemini July 7, joining Venus. expect the unexpected in communications, the airlines, with possible changes in previously written contracts and agreements. President Trump is a Gemini, and he may change his mind even more often. Uranus will be in Gemini until May of 2033. The good news is there should be helpful communication or advertising for new inventions, especially the automobile and other mechanical things. Digital currency may have new opportunities, but be challenged as not stable enough. Leadership will be challenge by those guarding the nation’s founding and Constitution, families and agriculture. Since Pluto in Aquarius is in a harmonious, trine, relationship with Uranus in Gemini, inventions and innovations with the aerospace, airline and communications industries will go smoothly with powerful backing or help. The Nodes changed signs into the South Node of the past in Virgo, with the North Node of aspirations in Pisces. Expect lack of attention to practical detail and truth will be brought forth to be corrected, so be sure to pay attention to what is practical detail for you.

Personally, beginning now through 2033. Gemini can expect life changes initiated by them, even if not thought so, with Sagittarius experiencing relationships wanting more freedom to be themselves, something Sagittarius is tolerant of. Virgo and Pisces – ouch! – sudden, unexpected life changes. How depends upon chart details. Libra and Aquarius enjoy smooth life changes bringing freedom. Aries and Cancer are neutral with this one. Capricorn and Scorpio adjust to sudden changes.

Saturn is now in Aries through April of 2028, conjunct Neptune. We are witnessing global situations where it seems agreements were made, which disappear, and the countries are back to square one with confusion added. Personally, Aries experiences more responsibility taken on by themselves, possibly experienced as slowing down or being blocked. Saturn requires thought, thoroughness and long-range planning, not a normal Aries trait. Cancer, Libra and Capricorn experience either leadership challenges or, like Aries, blocks in their planned adventures. These signs are more impulsive and used to almost immediate manifestation of ideas and plans, and now, with Saturn in Aries, careful planning is needed. Responsibility becomes part of their lives, either taking on or letting go. Which one depends upon the chart details. Combined with Neptune, weird situations of things disappearing, and if relevant, medical situations hard to diagnose, or told the situation does not exist.

Mars is creeping towards the South Node in Virgo, bringing automotive or mechanical wrongs to light to be fixed. Virgo, be aware you may be experiencing past-life situations or this-life mistakes to be corrected. If medical, the upper colon.

July 5 and 6: (Venus sextile Saturn and Neptune), Opportunity for good communication and news regarding either or both the automobile businesses and Iran, possibly brokered by a Gemini or young country or area. since Gemini is an air sign, the meeting may be in an airplane or over an unsecure system. It seems China, France and Israel are at least focused on. Personally, Gemini initiates activities with Gemini and Leo for a wonderful day. a nice day for everyone.

July 7: Uranus goes into Gemini through November 7 when it reverses or goes retrograde into Taurus again. Sudden changes and interruptions in everything internet and communications. The financial crypto industry is “secured,” if we can call it that, by huge rows of computers in big buildings, using a lot of electricity for their transactions. It is possible for an overload causing electrical interruptions, in turn meaning that business being in disarray. Personally, your Gemini friends suddenly make big changes in their lives to enjoy more independence. Sagittarius experiences relationship changes, Virgo and Pisces experience sudden challenges. The number-degree is that now familiar 00 and 01, so if you have these in your chart expect change! Call me if you want help identifying what the planets are and for a short explanation. July 8: see-saw, quincunx day when things do not go as expected, especially for Cancer and Sagittarius, who experience the minor adjustments the most, probably via travel. Scorpio and Pisces can help Cancer, with Aries and Leo helping Sagittarius. when you adjust to what seem like inconveniences, your day goes better than expected.

July 9: Moon goes into ambitious, practical Capricorn, opposite Cancer, creating a choice between career and family, and slightly challenging Aries and Libra with family and career choices. Taurus and Virgo enjoy a nice day, with Gemini and Leo adjusting to serious or work situations.

July 10: full Moon in the signs of Cancer and Capricorn, who feel the leadership challenges and choices the most, with Aries and Libra also having leadership challenges. Scorpio and Pisces may help Cancer, with Taurus and Virgo helping Capricorn. The area of the body for this full Moon is the stomach and breasts, knees, bones and skin.

July 11: A chance to balance sequential detail with altruistic endeavors, about defense of the land and family. Hopefully, balance with farming and our good supply. Cancer could be the protective leader to balance Virgo and Pisces. Moon goes into Aquarius bringing objective attitude to help, probably by advising some modification.

July 12: no exact astrological relationships or aspect, meaning a neutral day.

July 13: see-saw, quincunx day, with Cancer and Aquarius experiencing the need to accommodate each other. Saturn goes retrograde, backing into Pisces again until February 2026. Possible reversals in the automotive and mechanical industries, going back to previous models. Prices could drop again in the oil and gas sector. Saturn will be in Pisces until February 2026, so perhaps peace agreements are made, or the resumption of charitable activities. Pisces may experience either the resumption of responsibilities or something ending. Cancer and Scorpio could help Pisces make financial decisions. Moon goes into Pisces, helping Pisces go forward.

July 14: Bastille Day in France, their Independence day. no exact astrological relationships or aspect, meaning a neutral day.

USA is experiencing her Jupiter return, which happens every-almost 12 years, and will be exact on July 6 and in effect until June 9. Jupiter is the zodiac’s archangel, which is the symbol of protection, so the USA may be “protected” with her agreements, allies and enemies. We could also see good new agreements and treaties. However, Jupiter also exaggerates, swaggers, and unthinkingly acts with hubris, so announcement may be exaggerated. Jupiter in the USA chart also symbolizes the population, which is being diminished because of deportations. Since this should be a lucky time, perhaps new agreements will be made to protect the farm workers, so the crops are picked, and we have food.

Neptune went retrograde July 4, and we saw the flood in Texas (Neptune is the symbol of water) and storms in New Jersey. Neptune will be in challenging degree to the land of America through beginning of October this year. This means a lot of water, floods and erosion in one way and perhaps notice of new rivers and ponds. This position of Neptune is opposite the office of the presidency, which may experience global erosion of trust.

July 4 and July 5 look like they were calmly good days. President Trump signed his bill, and the planets reveal that in itself was good. July 6 there are challenges to the office of the presidency because of finances. When Uranus goes into Gemini July 7, it is the beginning of changes of mind of the president (because he is a Gemini) and changes in the workforce, medical and farming industries. How ? with Uranus in Gemini, we will not know and whatever may change again. July 11 sees challenges to ally and enemy treaties or agreements from either foreign countries or the Supreme Court, or more deportations. Saturn goes retrograde July 13 right on the nadir or 4^th house cusp which represents the land itself and is opposite the office of the presidency. There could be the securing of land, the destruction of land by fire, and opposition to the office of the presidency.

What is meant by challenges to the office of the presidency may mean challenges to the Constitution itself and possibly by the president himself. Because Natal Saturn lives in the house of the office of the presidency and is the symbol of the authority of the president. in the USA chart, because Libra is on the MC, Venus is the planet symbolizing the president as a person.

Bombing of Iran and Celestial forecast June 22.

Yesterday, June 21, President Trump bombed Iran’s nuclear sites. What does the astrology say? Written yesterday, before the news: Continued stressful challenges between the USA and Iran. June 24 USA and Iran vociferously challenging each other, resulting in world tension and no resolution. June 27 Moon goes into Leo, joining Mercury and strengthening good communication or news with or about Iran.

Interpreted this morning: so much for President Trump giving Iran two weeks to negotiate. The Power of the presidency, meaning the power or effectiveness of the United States has shifted with both allies and enemies. This is ongoing and, as written before, this changing of the power of the USA and the president himself goes through December of 2026. (T Pluto quincunx N Venus). The bombing was idealistic, and will have unintended consequences, perhaps with an opportunity for some good June 23 and June 24. (T Mars quincunx T Neptune, then T Mars sextile N Venus). The USA Sibley chart I use has the Midheaven/IC at 01 Libra 07, with T Saturn conjunct the IC. This is evidenced by the destruction caused by the weather. Let us hope it does not mean retaliation. The progressed Moon of the USA is in Aries, which is impulsive and eager for arguments and fights. For the next 2-1/2 years, the emotional nature of the USA is pugnacious with allies, enemies and existing laws and agreements, both USA and other countries.

June 20 was the summer solstice, when the Sun went into the sign of Cancer, which was also the longest day of the year. This month several planets change signs: Jupiter into Cancer June 9, Mars into Virgo June 17, the Sun into Cancer June 20, Mercury into Leo June 26. When planets change sign, energy changes. I’ve been receiving calls asking what is happening astrologically because the energy has changed and people are feeling it. The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars change signs quickly but Jupiter only once every 11-1/2 months, so we feel the Jupiter change more. Personally, Jupiter in Cancer brings abundance to Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces, opposition to Capricorn, challenges of expansion for Aries and Libra, the chance for abundance – if they will accept it – for Taurus and Virgo, and adjustment to changes for Sagittarius and Aquarius. Gemini and Leo are neutral with Jupiter in Cancer.

Last week Jupiter was square – meaning challenging circumstances – with Saturn and Neptune and is over now. However, we’ll experience the results or consequences of any stand-off or confusing situations of last week. Some situations may have been deliberately vague and misleading as part of a strategy, and if too confusing for others, may result in the fading away of any possible benefits. Or, decisions may have been made behind the scenes (in secret) to alleviate the situations. Seems the decision to bomb Iran was made in secret.

Mars left proud, hubris-prone Leo, and into common-sense, good-planning Virgo on June 17. Mars may be bored in Virgo because Virgo puts the brakes on Mars’ impulsiveness, insisting on practical details related to the situation. Mars in Virgo, though, may be efficient, honest and productive. Personally, this is a good time for Virgo to put their procrastinated plans into action, perhaps cooperating with Taurus for management and Capricorn for leadership. Mars gives Cancer and Scorpio the opportunity to apply details to their plans, challenges Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces to be careful with details, asks Aquarius and Aries to adjust to requests for practical details and neutral with Leo and Libra.

There are several instances of what the press is calling “whiplash”. This is when the decision is changed or reversed, whether planned or not. President Trump is a Gemini, and this is normal for him. (I was married with a Gemini, whose chart includes challenging aspects like President Trump’s, who changed plans at a whim, usually for something he would rather do, not thinking of the consequences for others). The dates are June 19, when war plans or dates were changed and apparently not challenged, June 23 and June 24, war plans changed again, possibly because consideration of serious consequences. We will consider those dates for you below.

The Moon also change signs this coming week, meaning if you have that 00-number-degree in your chart, you will be busy indeed, because there will be five sign changes into the 00-number-degree! Have fun. We cardinal-leadership signs enjoy changes and interruptions because if gives us something to solve. Oh, we are Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, although Capricorn may hesitate a little at first.

All week, Jupiter is still in square situation with both Neptune and Saturn, meaning challenges to plans for expansion of structural and charitable situations. Personally, Cancer and Aries challenge each other and could produce a breakthrough with fearless, courageous leadership, although they may argue with each other. Virgo could help with common-sense, detailed planning information to focus upon.

June 22: Moon goes into talkative Gemini, livening conversations. There is a good opportunity for well-planned activities to go well, but stressful challenges with at least arguments over leadership, family, farm and the automobile industries, not necessarily together.
June 23: quincunx, see-saw day when things do not go as expected, asking you to adjust to or accommodate changes, and when you do, things go better. June 24: Jean Baptise Day, or John the Baptist Day. Moon goes into Cancer, creating a new Moon in Cancer, joining Jupiter, challenging Aries and Libra. Active quincunxe see-saw day when things definitely do not go as expected. What we are calling the war situation see-saws back and forth with serious changing statements and situations. Edgy day. Also challenges with both the farm and automobile or machine manufacturing industries, with a possible stand-off or demonstration. Personally, Cancer, Aries and Libra experience leadership challenges or challenged to make quick decisions. Scorpio can help Cancer with good management, with Sagittarius helping everyone with peacemaking, and Gemini helping each see all sides of the situations.
June 25: an astrologically neutral day with no exact aspects, but the quincunx situations are still active.
June 26: finally, an opportunity to resolve or make decisions for the betterment of the situations. There is the opportunity for good communication or news about money, and to have a common-sense or practical solution to the war or farm situations. Virgo, Cancer, Taurus all cooperate to figure things out, especially for humanitarian activates.
June 27: Moon goes into Leo, joining Mercury and strengthening good communication or news with or about the automobile or machines industries. Good day for everyone.
June 28: more good news, hopefully about a new effort for charitable or humanitarian situation. Strong, focused and creative communication may result in a decision going forward. Maybe a new movie released.
June 29: challenging communications about nuclear or demonstrations. The autocrat tries to verbally force the situation with stubborn resistance. Then the Moon goes into Virgo, bringing some calm to the situation, offering a practical, detailed plan. Virgo and Cancer cooperate to help with the situation. Leo and Aquarius, and possibly Taurus and Scorpio experience control issues that Virgo and Cancer can help with.
June 30: astrologically neutral day, but the past returns to be corrected or enjoyed. Virgo attracts past-life and past situations or fellow Virgos. Any past mistakes would be because of incomplete or missing details.
July 1: Moon goes into gracious, diplomatic, cooperative, beauty-loving Libra, bringing those qualities to the day.

USA: Pluto continues to reveal a change in the power of the USA, with the other powers adjusting to or accommodating the President’s policies. However, Pluto also reveals the continued supposed power of the president himself and, interestingly, the power of speculative currencies. There may be a crisis of power July 2, with a needed obvious adjustment. Pluto is the symbol of Congress, which may assert itself, thereby changing the power of the Executive Branch. The self-esteem of the country is going through change because of the federal policies. The office of the presidency experiences lawful challenge all week, exactly June 24 and June 25, with possible good communication June 29, although July 2, will reveal what needs adjustment. There are crises or foçi on the expenditure of money that could be the catalyst.

With Jupiter in Cancer, strength is with Laws or the Legislative Branch of USA government, and increased independence of allies and enemies, meaning less cooperation with them.

Continued stressful challenges between the USA and Iran. June 24 USA and Iran vociferously challenging each other, resulting in world tension and no resolution. June 27 Moon goes into Leo, joining Mercury and strengthening good communication or news with or about Iran.

Memorial Day weekend, which is from Saturday, May 24 to Monday, May 26 is our special focus to help you plan your days. Generally, it looks pleasant, with a lot of Gemini energy, which means light, fun and interesting social events with scintillating conversations. However, Gemini energy is changeable, so expect some plans or people attending your party to unexpectedly attend or not attend, because they changed their plans. This is not personal, only something came up for them. We have some good Taurus energy, so expect good, substantial food and a chance to help someone or help a ?? organization. All the signs are involved in pleasant relationships even though your sign may not be specifically mentioned. Leo and Aquarius seem to sit alone, but they are in pleasant relationships with everyone else. Your personal celestial situation may be different, though.

Now to the big picture: this week, the Sun, Mercury and Saturn change signs. This means if you have a 00-zero number or degree in your chart, you will be busy. The Sun and Mercury go into the social, talkative sign of Gemini, joining Jupiter, brightening the atmosphere, possibly with exaggerations. Technical and AI may continue to expand or introduce yet another innovation.

Saturn goes into the sign of Aries, supposedly its detriment. Einstein had his Saturn in Aries, and he was certainly not in detriment! What can you expect with Saturn going into Aries, where it will be for 2-1/2 years? A tendency for established entities to break from “the pack” to be independent. There could be a tendency to do things quickly without thinking of the consequences or effects. Responsibility seems to shift from caring for others, with focus on one’s self. This is especially for nations, corporations and other big organizations. Saturn restricts and in Aries, may gradually restrict wars, production of war materiel, restriction of guns and a downturn in the automotive industry. Saturn represents karma, so responsibility for accidents and harm to others may return to perpetrators. New beginnings that went public too soon may have to start over, with a more practical outlook.

Now to the celestial forecast, remembering this is the relationship of the planets in the sky with each other. Your personal forecast would be different and especially for you. For those of you who have enjoyed your year-ahead with me, the dates you have from our consolation are the ones which are for you, not these.

May 18: Moon goes into Aquarius, adding to the tense, stubborn communication about money and power, with the one with power leaving or letting go of the practical, settled one. Taurus and Leo have a challenging control-issue day which may include Scorpio who controls the money. However, practical Taurus and Capricorn get along and may cooperate to bring quiet, common-sense leadership to the situation.
May 19: Later in the day there is an opportunity for substantial food distribution to the needy. This could be to Gaza or to your local food banks.

May 20: Sun goes into Gemini and the Moon goes into Pisces, forming a quarter or half Moon. This means a changeable day full of interruptions, which are fun for Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces, and irritating for Virgo.
May 21: continuation of humanitarian help, possibly with food.
May 22: more humanitarians donations, given in a most innovative way and possibly with Vatican urging. Also, possibly a good situation with Canada and Mexico because of the accepted opportunity for dialogue.
May 23: no exact planetary relationships or aspects, so a fairly neutral, pleasant day.
May 24: beginning of the big weekend. Moon goes into Taurus, joining Mercury and Uranus, focusing on food and money. A nice, smooth day, especially for Taurus, Pisces, and everyone else. Enjoy.
May 25: the day Saturn goes into Aries, which may not be noticed by many unless you are paying attention to national and international news. If you have the 00-zero number or degree in your chart, you are beginning a change triggered by responsibility or mistakes return to be corrected, or an urge to begin something new. A short time with Patty can help you realize what it is and how you may successively manage it. Also today, Mercury goes into its sign of Gemini, energizing conversation and social life. There may be news of another innovation, hastily publicized. Personally, spirited conversations, which may lead to an opportunity to learn about the establishment of a daring project. Good communication with most everyone, and especially for Gemini and Aries, who love to spar.
May 26: nice, creative day, perhaps with a movie, show or music festival. Weather is pleasant. New Moon in Gemini, meaning lots of good conversation, an unexpected visit from a fun person. traveling will be good, as it will be tomorrow, May 27

USA: Saturn goes into Aries through April of 2028, challenging the USA Cancer, Virgo and Libra planets and the Midheaven. This means challenges to and with our allies, enemies, the Supreme Court, to the office of the presidency and to the president himself. We’ll be specific with the time of the exact dates. With the Sun in Gemini through June 21, focus on medical, workforce, and supreme court cases with positive financial situation. May 17 controversy about a new situation that is too expensive. The president’s return from his trip looks like he receives good reception, with May 22 especially good, a good situation with Congress or a previously secret deal with good financial potential. Depending upon which Sibley chart is used, Saturn focus on the White House and opposite the office of the President begins June 11 all the way through August 16 or this does not happen until February 2026. This would mean continued challenge to the office of the presidency because of restrictions. Canada and Mexico may challenge the office of the presidency, meaning the USA itself because of restrictions. This will be interesting.

Pluto is still at 25 degrees Capricorn, Neptune is still at 23 degrees Pisces, Uranus is at 14 degrees Taurus and Saturn is at 11 degrees Aquarius.

July 18: a see-saw or Quincunx day when nothing goes as expected, nothing! Interruptions all day, requiring you to adapt to the interruptions and be flexible. When you are flexible on these days and adapt, the day goes much better than expected. Cancer cannot communicate well with Aquarius and needs to adapt to the abstract and the future. Leo adapts to financial reality, having to spend less and also adapt to other’s creativity or not showing up. This means the helpers are Scorpio and Pisces for Cancer, Gemini and Libra for Aquarius, and Aries and Sagittarius for Leo.

July 19: mild lack of self confidence or the over-confidence, especially with the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Part of you wants to be safe and comfortable and part of you wants to be a little risky. Moon goes into Sagittarius adding confidence and talk about travel, higher education and religion or spirituality.

July 19 USA: difficult day. News of and opposition to a financial plan requiring adjustment or amendments possibly involving a higher court and congress.

July 20: opportunity for good news about home and family, change and finances. Perhaps the mortgage market changes for the better. Cancer receives an opportunity for good change which could result in a little financial gain.

July 20 USA: legal challenge to a Democratic law, agreement or proposed law, based upon the financial aspect of it. Could be the infrastructure bill in congress.

July 21: Venus goes into Virgo through August 16. You loved one may become frugal or critical. Purchases are for useful things. However Virgo may be more openly affectionate now, with Pisces feeling criticized. Gemini and Sagittarius loved ones may want to isolate instead of being gregarious. Taurus and Capricorn enjoy a time of common-sense happiness. Cancer and Scorpio have the opportunity to reduce expenses or purchase needed items. Aquarius and Aries adjust to loved ones being more detail oriented.

July 21: (more). See-saw or quincunx day when things do not go as planned for everybody. The need is to accommodate and adjust to interruptions related to travel, home and family, especially with Sagittarius and Cancer. Moon goes into Capricorn after 6 pm when things calm down and attention to work.

July 22: Trying to balance everyday needs with the desire to expand creative or compassionate activities. Virgo and Pisces at odds over being frugal and wanting to help others too much. Also tension with Gemini and Sagittarius about - again - being frugal and wanting to expand creative activities. Taurus and Capricorn can help Virgo, with Scorpio and Cancer helping Pisces.

July 22: (more) Sun goes into Leo through August 22. The hottest time of the year, called “dog days”. It is called Dog Days because the star Sirius can be seen above the horizon. Now is Leo’s time to begin new projects, entertain and to shine. Leo is naturally generous, too, so this is the time of generosity and entertainment. Aquarius may need to balance who is in control with these activities, along with Taurus and Scorpio who experience control issues. Aries and Sagittarius enjoy time of creative activities. Gemini and Libra have the opportunity to be included in opulent social events. Cancer and Virgo are neutral. Capricorn and Pisces adjust to the need to praise or appreciate others.

July 23: full Moon in the signs of Aquarius and Leo. The tension is about control issues, especially for Aquarius, Leo, Taurus and Scorpio. The attempted balance is between the need for self and the need for the group. The areas of the body for this full Moon are the heart, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, the calves of the legs and veins. Also today, see-saw or quincunx day when things do not go as expected. The one asking for attention may be ignored. Leo and Pisces do not communicate well and need to accommodate each other. The need for attention could cause lack of communication. July 23 USA: opportunity for the challenge of July 20 to be resolved. opportunity for a beneficial situation for the President regarding either foreign entity or a higher court.

July 24: good news about either creativity or humanitarian situation. Overall a pleasant day with good communication for everyone, but especially for the water signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.

July 24 USA: the press is kinder today. Good news about a foreign agreement announced by the president.

July 25: media opposition to an established entity or plan. Ideas about home and family oppose the entrenched, selfish situation and may be rebuffed. Communication is impulsive and bossy, especially between Cancer and Capricorn, Aries and Libra. Moon goes into gentle and creative Pisces at 11:30 pm ET.

July 25 USA: financial news and strong opposition with a need to adjust to the financial part of a foreign situation. What comes to mind, although it may be too late, is how to bring out of Afghanistan those who helped us and the allies during the Afghan war.

July 11: Mercury goes into Cancer through July 21. Cancer talks even more than usual, possibly about home and family. However, some Cancers are independent, love to travel and may be delighted to be able to at least visit family now. Capricorn may be asked to talk more about family, Aries and Libra have challengingly exciting conversations about family, home and food. Scorpio and Pisces have good communication, Taurus and Virgo have the opportunity to be included in nice conversations; Gemini and Leo are neutral, with Sagittarius and Aquarius adjusting to talk about home, family and food instead of travel, friends and groups.

July 12: nice day of communication: emotionally good and good with families. The atmosphere is conducive for being psychic, or knowing things ahead of time, especially for the water signs of Pisces, Scorpio and Cancer.

July 12 USA: Communication taking exception to the office of the presidency about a law or agreement, possibly with a foreign entity.

July 13: Mars and Venus are together in Leo, bringing a good love and creative day for Leo who may be more assertive than usual in a good way, such as inviting others to their event. However, Aquarius may be asked to at least appreciate their partner, not something easily done with Aquarius. Aries and Sagittarius may be invited to a lavish social event. Gemini and Libra have the opportunity to be social, too, and have a good time. Cancer and Virgo are in a good neutral space because they are each next-door astrology neighbors with Leo and get along well. However, Taurus and Scorpio may experience control issues, possibly over spending to much money. Capricorn and Pisces adapt to a lot of social activity. Moon goes into detail-oriented Virgo, focusing on sequential or linear thinking.

July 13 USA: good or pleasing communication with the president about yesterdays news. Could be a suggestion make an existing law regarding the foreign entities better.

July 14 USA: opportunity day, meaning good situations proposed need to be acted upon. A higher court or foreign entity offers or accepts an opportunity and the president proposes a new law that is good for all.

July 15: Chiron goes direct at 12 degrees Aries 55 minutes. The atmosphere changes to being more self assured and courageous. Aries may take the initiative for a new activity, inviting Leo and Sagittarius. Also today, the Sun and Neptune are getting along, indicating a very good day for Cancer and Pisces, followed by Scorpio. Capricorn may be asked to pay attention to family instead of work and career and will be glad if he does. Another psychic day when you may be aware of things ahead of time. Good day with children, though.

July 16 USA: foreign entity or higher court agrees with a law or agreement.

July 17: the Sun is opposing Pluto, revealing opposition or one-on-one interaction with another that is full of tension. There is tension between Cancer and Capricorn or family and career. The solution is to cooperate and meet in the middle of each person’s perceived necessity. Aries and Libra could have a tense day, too. This is all about leadership: who is in charge and who will begin the project. Again, cooperation is the key. Scorpio and Pisces can help Cancer, with Taurus and Virgo helping Capricorn. Also a quarter Moon in the signs of Libra and Cancer, indicating a tension-filled day with impulsive changes and leadership issues, especially between Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Here is a story about leadership signs: years ago, I attended an Edgar Cayce conference. Part of the entertainment were skits on the stage. The person in charge put those of the same sign together to quickly create a skit. Well, I am a Cancer, so we Cancers - one of the leadership signs - were all telling each other what to do, resulting in nobody paying attention to anybody else, hence no skit. That became our skit, though and everybody laughed.

July 17 USA: adjustment, tweak or accommodation made regarding the Republicans or by the Republicans regarding the office of the presidency. This is the middle date of a process or phase that is uncomfortable.

July 18: a see-saw or Quincunx day when nothing goes as expected, nothing! Interruptions all day, requiring you to adapt to the interruptions and be flexible. July 5 USA: good situation with the office of the presidency, possibly because of financial situation. But confusing news or a lot of rain, hopefully for the western wildfires. Meet King Cancer and Lady Moon.

King Cancer's birthday is the first day of summer, so he is a summer king, enjoying warm weather and warm surroundings.

King Cancer and Lady Moon were sitting in comfortable chairs looking over their river kingdom and boat chariot. Their pet animals are crabs, which scuttle around on the beach, moving sideways before backing into their protective holes in the sand. Hmm... King Cancer is sort of like that. When he feels confronted, he moves sideways by changing the conversation and will sometimes leave the conversation and area altogether to back into his protective space. He does this sometimes when King Aries and Knight Mars are a little too provocative.

A light chariot flew in and landed on the beach. King Gemini and Knight Mercury stepped out to meet their neighbors. King Cancer noted that Knight Mercury had wings on his shoes and wondered how he could fly so easily because King Cancer preferred to travel on the water. King Gemini is friendly and had met King Cancer and Lady Moon before. King Cancer had cautioned King Gemini not to flirt with his Lady Moon, so King Gemini behaved himself.

King Cancer made King Gemini and Knight Mercury comfortable, offering them food and libation. King Cancer talked about making his home even more comfortable with beautiful furniture and accessories. Lady Moon talked about her new recipes and how she loved to entertain by having dinner parties to show off her cooking skills. King Gemini skillfully complimented them and offered creative suggestions. King Gemini also offered to introduce new people to King Cancer and Lady Moon for their next occasion.

Because to King Cancer and Lady Moon friends are like family, King Gemini and Knight Mercury are part of their extended family. They visit with each other frequently and help each other out when needed. King Cancer helps King Gemini by offering him a comfortable place to be when he is tired of flying around.

King Cancer, Lady Moon, King Taurus and Lady Venus are good friends, sharing their love of comfort and good food. King Taurus calms and stabilizes King Cancer when he is too impulsive. Lady Venus helps Lady Moon’s changeable moods by being a practical and stable friend, listening to Lady Moon, knowing this mood will pass.

King Cancer, King Aries and Knight Mars sometimes have a contentious time together because King Aries and Knight Mars like to provoke and have exciting, stimulating conversations. King Cancer does not like arguments but will defend himself; we could actually say King Cancer is very defensive about himself, his home and family. When he is defensive, he is surprisingly strong in his defense, too.

They invited King Aries, Knight Mars, King Taurus and Lady Venus to join them for a ride in their water chariot, which is quite comfortable with soft pillows on the deck chairs. Since Knight Mars likes to be first in and in charge, they let him begin the trip. However, it was a very quick, almost abrupt beginning, which alarmed King Taurus and King Cancer. After a while, King Cancer took over and skillfully piloted the chariot through the river, with Lady Moon successfully navigating with the stars.

They had a wonderful chariot ride on the river which was calm, complete with food and drinks. The wind was soft that day, coming from the south. However Lady Moon saw a cloud in the distance, and knowing from her experience with the universe, advised they go back. They arrived at King Cancer’s palace just in time, before the south wind blew too hard.

They all went into King Cancer’s palace to talk about their ride on the river, and then bid a goodbye. King Aries left in his very fast land chariot with Knight Mars driving, King Taurus left in his substantial land chariot with Lady Venus by his side, and King Gemini left in his flying chariot, piloted by Knight Mercury.

They said they would come together a little later to visit King Leo and Knight Sun.

This retrograde may see many glitches in communication, travel, your computer and cell phone. Be prepared to be flexible, like a Gemini.

There is a solar or new Moon eclipse June 10 in Gemini, energizing Mercury retrograde! The Sun, Moon, North Node and Mercury all activated in Gemini! Sagittarius may continue to experience misunderstandings with communication, attracting situations or people from the past to bring to your attention communication issues to be dealt with. This is because the South Node is in Sagittarius, attracting the past to Sagittarius.

How you experience these in Gemini depends upon how Gemini aspects, or relates to, the planets in your chart. Basically, Gemini is good with Libra and Aquarius, you have every sign somewhere in your horoscope, so it depends on the how’s. Virgo could be irritated because of lack of detail, changing of the subject and the perceived lack of focus from others. Pisces does not usually notice details, but could be a little irritated by the Gemini stimulation. June 6 is remembrance of D-Day, Code-named Operation Overlord, the battle began on June 6, 1944, when some 156,000 American, British and Canadian forces landed on five beaches along a 50-mile stretch of the heavily fortified coast of France’s Normandy region. The invasion was one of the largest amphibious military assaults in history and required extensive planning. Prior to D-Day, the Allies conducted a large-scale deception campaign designed to mislead the Germans about the intended invasion target. By late August 1944, all of northern France had been liberated, and by the following spring the Allies had defeated the Germans. The Normandy landings have been called the beginning of the end of war in Europe. The news is incomplete and deceptive, strong opposition to the appropriations bill from congress, and it seems the Republicans are amenable to a compromise. The president makes a good agreement either with the Republicans or an agreement for the population and perhaps immigrants.

June 8: Moon goes into Gemini, joining the Sun, Mercury and the North Node. Day with a lot of talk, humor and charm, but remember Mercury is retrograde.

June 8 USA: the congress talks about defense of the Capitol building.

June 10: solar or new Moon eclipse in Gemini, aggregating Mercury retrograde! The Sun, Moon, North Node and Mercury all activated in Gemini! Sagittarius may continue to experience misunderstandings with communication, attracting situations or people from the past to bring to your attention communication issues to be dealt with. This is because the South Node is in Sagittarius, attracting the past to Sagittarius. Basically this is a good situation for Libra and Aquarius but it is still an eclipse which triggers what is in your chart, especially if it is aspected by a transit. June 10 eclipse with the USA: the eclipse is in the house of allies, enemies, laws and agreements and is within one degree of a conjunction with Mars, indicating action with these entities and perhaps a new law proposed. The United State has a Mercury retrograde in our natal chart, which means things work out with the country which may not be expected under a Mercury retrograde, including an agreement with congress.

June 11: Moon goes into its own sign of Cancer, turning attention to home, family and food.

June 11 USA: continuation of yesterday’s eclipse, with possible success.

June 12: slight tension about not being good enough or slight tension in family issues. If it is felt, the tension is between Cancer and Aries, followed by Libra and Capricorn. Scorpio and Pisces can help Cancer, with Leo and Sagittarius helping Aries if Sagittarius is not involved in relationship miscommunication. This is mild an may not be felt except for those very sensitive.

June 13: things do not go as expected with business because of a need to adjust to family needs. Cancer and Aquarius have a hard time understanding each other and need to adjust to each other’s points of view. Also, the one in authority is trying to communicate to no avail, because nobody understands. Gemini and Pisces cannot understand each other, with Virgo and Sagittarius irritated because of incomplete information. Put off making decisions, not only because of Mercury retrograde but because of this transit which indicates information is incomplete or deceptive. If this is the weather, it rains. Moon goes into dramatic Leo joining Mars indicating a good day for Leo and Aries.

(My previous predictions had revealed that vaccinations would be freely available to all by now, which seems to be). This line-up activates Gemini, Virgo, Pisces and Sagittarius.

May 30: things do not go as expected, especially with conversations and talk with Gemini. Be flexible and accommodate unexpected interruptions and it will be better than expected. Your loved one may be more talkative about light-hearted things today and be out of synch with the practical. Communication should adjust to reality with the more experienced person of established situation. Gemini accommodates - eek - hard reality with the more powerful person. Gemini and Libra adjust to practical reality and to the effective, established person or situation. Moon goes into Aquarius adding the desire to be with friends or be friendly, and business turning to inventions and groups.

June begins with a stellium or planetary line-up in Gemini. The Sun, Mercury, Venus and North Node. Saturn is in Aquarius, trine the Gemini line-up, somewhat grounding Gemini’s restlessness and possibly directing Gemini’s communication to friends and groups. This means a lot of nice communication, but with possible glitches because Mercury is retrograde until June 22.

Sagittarius experiences stimulating conversations that may be confrontational. Virgo and Pisces may be irritated because of impulsive interruptions. Aries and Leo enjoy good social time, Libra and Aquarius enjoy good communications, Cancer and Taurus adjust to fleeting interruptive communication. Scorpio and Capricorn are neutral. Every year the Sun, Mercury and Venus are usually in Gemini. This year the North Node is also in Gemini. What does all this mean for you?

First of all Gemini likes to play and communicate, so the weekend should be fun with lots of sparkly conversation, especially from Gemini. This is good for Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Sagittarius can expect spirited conversations and to be challenged. Virgo and Pisces may be either stimulated by all the talk or irritated because of the speed of conversation. Scorpio and Capricorn adjust to speedy, unfinished conversations, Aries and Leo have the opportunity to be included and have fun. Taurus and Cancer are neutral.

Mars in Cancer indicates some family activities at home instead of lots of traveling.

However, Neptune is in Pisces in tension with Gemini, meaning some people may not show up and there could be rain in some places.

May 29 the Moon opposes Mars, so there may be short-lived disagreements, especially between Cancer and Capricorn, with Aries and Libra possibly having a short time of tension. Mercury goes retrograde today, so expect changes or glitches in plans and adjust to it. When you adjust it goes better than expected. I have traveled when Mercury was retrograde, and the changes ended up being better than the original. Just don't sign papers!

Happy Birthday to all Gemini’s. May your day be bright and social with many friends.

King Gemini is like a twin because he can seem to be two people at the same time.

A light chariot flew over Kings Aries and Taurus kingdoms and set down on the newly settled Gemini kingdom, which was open and airy. King Gemini’s Knight, who is Mercury, lightly stepped out of the chariot and looked all around. Whenever Gemini and Mercury are around, the air is lightly scented, pleasant and slightly breezy. King Gemini loves to talk, so he had a running conversation with Mercury, commenting on everything he saw. When he looked to the kingdom to the east, he saw a farm with abundant crops. The king of that kingdom had a substantial body type, but instead of a knight, this king had a beautiful woman as his helper.

King Gemini motioned to Knight Mercury to quickly introduce themselves to this already established King. They flew over, lightly landed, walked to King Taurus’ door and introduced themselves. King Taurus was not pleased at being so unexpectedly interrupted. However, after King Gemini talked a little, King Taurus and Lady Venus were charmed by his banter, wit and compliments.

King Taurus had been counting his money and Lady Venus was preparing a yummy meal when they were visited. King Gemini wondered why anybody would actually take the time to count money because it was always available and did not need the detail of actual counting – unless someone else did it for you.

During their conversation, King Gemini told King Taurus that he was friends with King Aries. The two take advantage of their love of new ideas to talk and challenge each other. King Taurus thought this was too much conversation and fast thinking for him. After a few minutes of conversation, King Taurus realized Kings Aries and Gemini needed a stabilizing influence, which King Taurus was willing to be.

King Gemini offered to communicate to the other kings the results of King Taurus’ crops and a friendship was made, even though the two are so different. However, when King Gemini flirted with Lady Venus, who was pleased with the attention, King Taurus got jealous and told King Gemini to leave her alone.

King Gemini’s conversation was sprinkled with “I Think, I think.” King Gemini thinks so much and so quickly, and seemed to change his mind several times during the conversation, King Taurus got confused. King Taurus likes to ponder on new ideas, which bores King Gemini who likes to flit from thought to thought.

Both King Gemini and Knight Mercury are eternally young, love to socialize like butterflies and brighten everyone’s life when they visit. Knight Mercury wears wings on his sandals when he is with King Gemini so they can lightly fly wherever they think to go. Knight Mercury is so mentally quick he helps King Gemini communicate his many thoughts in a charming way.

King Gemini does not have a pet like King Aries and King Taurus. King Gemini is called The Twins because he is like two people in one and needs to keep up with himself, let alone an animal. Plus, King Gemini prefers to socialize instead of staying home to take care of a pet or possessions, although he needs a home to come to - if someone else will establish and maintain it.

Gemini and Mercury did not stay long because they were eager to fly about to meet the other kings, knights and hopefully some ladies. As they bid their goodby’s they quickly flew to meet who lived on the other side of their kingdom, wondering who that could be.

The USA has a stellium, or group, of planets in the fourth house of home, revealing the attention is on the border. However, the important astrological happening for the USA is a strong focus on past revolution and freedom. This is began May 21, exact this month, April 18 and continues through May 13, all this year of 2021. (P Moon conjunct the S Node). Perhaps the capitol insurrectionists thought they were creating a revolution for more freedom. This situation very well may be the consequences of insurrection happening during this time.USA

About your garden: it seems some are eager to clear out debris from the winter and begin to plant. Astrologically, the best time to begin planting is the new Moon in Taurus which will be May 11 this year, because Taurus is the sign of planting. We should be sure of no more frost from May 11 forward. One year when the new Moon was late, even I questioned the timing, but, lo and behold, we had a frost just before the new Moon. Have fun planting when you do.

April 18: yesterday’s new idea and activity adjusts to practical necessity and the activity moves forward. Aries is communicating well with Libra experiencing direct conversations, as do Cancer and Capricorn. Gemini adjusts and scales back activity.

April 18 USA: exact date of the focus on the past and the insurrectionists. Happy Earth Day 2021 to our Mother Earth

Earth Day just happens to be the beginning of the month of Taurus, the sign of the Earth.

There are four planets in Taurus today: the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Uranus. The Moon is in the sign of Virgo, the sign of earth’s harvest and Pluto is in the sign of Capricorn, the sign of Earth’s mountains and hibernation. The Sun gives life, Mercury stimulates, Venus loves and Uranus changes. The Moon also nourishes and Pluto transforms.

Let us celebrate the nourishment, stimulation, love, harvest and transformation of the Earth today, with today only the beginning.

Signs of hope:

✓ The USA is hosting a two-day virtual summit of world leaders starting today, which coincides with Earth Day, to address the global climate crisis.

✓ Many nations, including USA, China and Russia are pledging to drastically reduce carbon emissions.

✓ The world’s car makers are rushing to make electric cars, to reduce carbon emissions.

What about we ordinary people?

✓ The world, including the oceans, landfills, streets and vacant lots are being piled high with plastic, other trash, discarded masks and gloves. Plastic is made from oil. Those billions of plastic water bottles, the plastic our vegetables are in at the grocery store and plastic shopping bags are made from oil. This means they do not degrade, only pile up on land and float on top and below the water in the lakes and oceans, depriving necessary oxygen for fish and marine life.

✓ What can one person do to eliminate this waste? This means us! Can we reduce the plastic we purchase and discard? Can we at least re-use it? Some of my friends are completely plastic free, which is getting harder to do since most everything is encased in plastic. Frozen vegetables used to be available in paper boxes, but the last time I shopped at our local mainstream grocery store, I noticed every single vegetable is encased in plastic bags, including organic. I will continue to go to our other local grocery store that sells sustainable and organic everything.

Meet King Taurus

King Taurus and Lady Venus were enjoying their domain. A red chariot sped by, screeched to a halt and backed up. The red chariot stopped in front of them and a lithe, quick King Aries hopped out to greet them. King Aries introduced himself, called Knight Mars over and began a conversation. It was not long before Knight Mars eyed Lady Venus, provoking a comment from King Taurus: "She is mine." That did not deter Knight Mars from flirting with Lady Venus anyway, since he is so assertive and charming.

King Aries wanted to see King Taurus' chariot, so they walked to the garage. King Taurus' chariot was sturdy and earth green and brown in color. King Taurus told King Aries that he prefers to keep his feet firmly planted on the ground and really did not enjoy flying about at great speeds, so he created this well-built, dependable chariot for himself and Lady Venus. Although a sturdy chariot, King Taurus had it fitted luxuriously, purchased on sale, of course. Lady Venus was happy with the chariot and made sure King Taurus was loved and well fed. King Taurus drove the chariot with Lady Venus at his side. They enjoyed slow drives around their kingdom.

Lady Venus made King Aries and Knight Mars comfortable, serving them yummy food. Later King Taurus showed King Aries where he kept his pet bull, which was in a pen filled with ample food. King Aries was surprised to see that his pet ram was in a pen next to the bull. King Taurus said that the ram wandered over to his farm one day looking for company when King Aries and Knight Mars were on one of their adventures. King Taurus was happy to build a fenced pen for the Aries ram, but expected King Aries to compensate him. King Aries was happy with this arrangement because it left him free for his adventures.

King Taurus was proud of his domain and the crops he had planted to be harvested later in the year with King Virgo. He showed King Aries around, continually commenting on how much he has, how beautiful it all is, and that "it is all mine."

After a while Lady Venus went inside to get King Taurus' checkbook to be balanced, something King Taurus enjoyed. He even offered to help King Aries keep his money in order.
