It’s almost here, y’all!

FALL!! We’ve had a little break in the weather — yesterday I woke up to temps in the 40s!! In Kentucky, we still have a ways to go before we can declare it fully here. Still have Indian Summer to go, at least once, LOL!

We just returned from a long weekend in Pigeon Forge, TN, on our first “Rudd Cousin Trip!” It was awesome! Beautiful scenery, hot weather, fun shopping, a few rides, and the knowledge that I never want to ride a ski-lift again! LOL! (That’s me, above, in the yellow shirt!)

In the meantime, if you see a Culver’s ad touting pumpkin pie ANYTHING, let me know …

The official start of the summer season may not be until later in the month, but there’s something about knowing it’s June, isn’t there?

School is out, VBS is in full swing in our local churches, Summer Reading is going strong in our public libraries, and parents are breathing a sigh of relief that school activities are wrapped up for a few weeks — unless you’re a baseball parent, then all bets are off, LOL!

June is also a great vacation month, so, for your reading pleasure, here’s a list of some new Christian Fiction books recommended by the America Christian Fiction Writers Organization (ACFW).

I hope you find a few to take with you wherever you travel – even if it’s just to the nightstand, the backyard, or the recliner!
