Conquest Music is proud to announce that ‘Stage’, the final release in Bernie Marsden’s acclaimed Inspirations Series, has reached No. 1 on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart in its first week of release.

Released as a double live album, Stage is a fitting final chapter to the career of one of British rock and blues’ most respected guitarists, songwriters and vocalists.

It is, of course, a bittersweet achievement. Bernie Marsden sadly isn’t here to celebrate this latest accolade, but his family can be rightly proud of an album that captures the remarkable breadth of his talent and serves as a lasting reminder of his contribution to music.

With Bernie no longer here to oversee the final compilation and production of the album, Conquest Music set out to find live recordings that would represent every aspect of his musicianship, from his exceptional guitar playing and often underrated vocal ability to his considerable talents as a songwriter.

Rather than focus on a single performance, Stage brings together recordings from four different live shows spanning 1996 to 2020, creating a unique portrait of Bernie as a live performer across more than two decades.

The album takes in everything from traditional Chicago blues and Americana-influenced acoustic performances to British blues, showcasing the versatility that remained at the heart of Bernie’s music throughout his career. Among the highlights is a remarkable Les Paul guitar duel with Joe Bonamassa, recorded at Bernie’s final London show in 2020.

The result is an album that celebrates Bernie Marsden exactly where he belonged, on stage, playing the music he loved. Stage is both an enjoyable live collection and a fitting swan song for an artist whose influence and legacy continue to resonate.

The announcement follows the release of Robert Jon & The Wreck’s album, Wreckage Vol. 3 which features the full-length version of “Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is.” Wreckage Vol. 3 is available on CD, vinyl, and digital HERE.

“Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is” originated from a writing session between Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar) and Henry James (lead guitar), which began with Henry bringing in the heavy riff and the song’s main chorus line. For the lyrics the band ran with the idea of what those words meant to them, thinking about how people can promise things in life, but often their actions don’t line up with their words.

Produced by Robert Jon & the Wreck, “Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is” is a heavy, riff-based anthem full of attitude and gritty ‘90s grunge influences. The band recorded the track in the fall of 2025 at the legendary Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, Studio 2, which is widely known in the music industry as The Van Halen Room.

Says Henry, “Self-produced by the band, the session was engineered and mixed by my good friend Chad Gordon, with whom I also recorded my very first album with my very first band many years ago. We haven’t worked together since that time, and since then we’ve both grown a lot, so it was great to reunite.”

“The song originated at an acoustic writing session at my apartment between myself and Robert,” recalls Henry. “I’d been playing with the idea for the chorus, and I already had a complete vision of the heavy main riff, melody, lyrics and general groove.”

“The main lyric is a call to action, that specifically refers to the phenomenon in which peoples’ actions don’t align with their words. It could be directed at society and the political climate we’re living in, just as much as it could be directed at myself or any individual, really.”

Continues Henry, “Robert and I became excited about the song, so he wrote some lines for the verse, and we brought it to the band at the next rehearsal, where it came together effortlessly. There was a youthful fervour and excitement that the song was bringing out of us. It felt different from the rest of our back catalogue.”

“Everyone in the band comes from different worlds musically, and this was something that seemed call upon some heavy ‘90s riff rock, with plenty of punk, grunge and even some metal influences. We also experimented with a lot of new sonic textures that we’ve never used in this band. It was a refreshing experience.”

Wreckage Vol. 3 features a collection of rarities, fan favourites, and standout tracks that showcases the band’s signature Southern rock sound. It documents one of the busiest creative stretches of the Wreck’s career and continues the momentum generated by recent single releases including “Run Back To Me” and “Arroyo.”

Says, Henry, “Wreckage Vol. 3 is a compilation album made up of additional singles dating back to sessions for the Red Moon Rising album in 2023. About half of the tracks were produced by Kevin Shirley (Joanne Shaw Taylor, Joe Bonamassa, Beth Hart), with the remainder self-produced by the band.

“Most of these songs are stand-alone singles,” adds Henry. “We are proud of how a lot of these songs turned out and wanted to give them a home so our fans could own the songs as physical media, be it a vinyl or CD.”

The collection also follows the release of the band’s acclaimed 2025 studio album Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes, produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb. The record earned widespread praise for its blend of raw storytelling, muscular grooves, and lived-in performances. Classic Rock Magazine called it “their most accomplished work to date.”

Hailing from Southern California, Robert Jon & The Wreck take the Southern rock sound from the East Coast and make it their own. Since their inception in 2011, these native Californians featuring Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums, background vocals), Henry James Schneekluth (lead guitar, background vocals), Warren Murrel (bass), and recent member, Jake Abernathie (keyboards), have been electrifying audiences all over the world with their soaring guitar leads, rich vocal harmonies, and memorable tunes.

Scarlet Rebels Announce 2027 Tour and Release New Single & Video ‘Chains’

Welsh rock band Scarlet Rebels have announced their first headline tour in three years, with the 2027 UK run kicking off on 11 February. The announcement comes alongside the release of their brand-new single and video, ‘Chains’, the third track to be taken from their forthcoming album Flawed By Design, due for release on 13 November 2026 via Earache Records.

The video for ‘Chains’ was filmed at Scarlet Rebels’ biggest headline show to date at Chepstow Castle, capturing a landmark night for the band in front of a huge home crowd.

“We loved the idea of capturing a night of huge importance to the band on camera professionally. We’re thrilled with how it’s turned out and that it’ll serve as a reminder of the evening forever,” says frontman Wayne Doyle.

The Chepstow show was a major moment for the band, with Musipedia of Metal describing the performance as a defining night for Scarlet Rebels:
“Scarlet Rebels just confirmed to everyone here tonight why they should be playing big arenas around the globe often. The more chance people get to witness the best pure rock band Wales has to offer, the better.”

‘Chains’ follows the release of ‘Don’t Look Down’, which has recently been added to the Planet Rock playlist, and the album’s first single, ‘This Is Happening Now’, which was selected for Classic Rock Magazine’s The Hot List.

Recorded with returning producer Chris Clancy, Flawed By Design continues the progression of Scarlet Rebels’ sound following their previous top 20 album Where The Colours Meet. The new record combines the band’s instinct for powerful rock songs with a more personal and introspective approach to songwriting.

‘Chains’ began unexpectedly, with the song coming together from a single idea at home. Wayne Doyle explains,
“This song dropped out of the blue, quite literally. I picked my acoustic guitar up at home, hit the first chord and sung ‘Set my soul on fire again’. It went from there. This was the first song we started to work on for the record.
The song speaks of my internal thoughts and anxieties, the over thinking and over analysing that can be overbearing and weigh you down, resulting in a pleading to be released from that burden or my ‘chains’ if you will.
I’m conscious that anyone reading this must think I’m constantly walking around being miserable, but like anything that takes any sort of art form, the point is exaggerated for the greater good.”

“Time Has No Mercy” is the explosive third single from Poole’s highly anticipated new album Post-Midnight Behaviour - his first studio album of brand-new material in eight years. Following 2018’s acclaimed Anytime You Need Me, the forthcoming album finds Poole pushing beyond his blues rock roots into bold new territory, igniting his signature guitar fire with darker grooves, cinematic atmosphere, and a powerful late-night intensity.

Released by Gypsy Soul Records on Friday September 25, 2026, the new album is available to pre-order on CD and vinyl HERE and to pre-save digitally HERE.

"'Time Has No Mercy' was one of the last songs that we wrote for the album,” says Poole. “The idea was to react against what we had written to this point. We had been working up a few emotionally darker, heavier tracks and the idea with ‘Time Has No Mercy’ was to write something lighter and more upbeat.

“It’s an empowering song, rather than a brooding or melancholic thing which we had just drowned ourselves in for the previous few weeks’ worth of writing. The whole idea came from the riff which is at the very end of the song now. It’s funny how that happens sometimes. The spark for the whole song came from a tiny outro section.”

Continues Poole, “It's a little more of a punk rock approach than I would normally take, with a lot of down strummed power chords in the choruses. I was slightly worried about drifting too far away from my style. In the end, once all was said and done, I added some lead guitar, some intertwining rhythm guitar parts and my vocals. I think the result is it still feels familiar enough to sit on the album. It’s a breath of fresh air and a light departure that follows on from the previous singles ‘No Second Chances’ and ‘Empty’.”

Pushing boldly beyond familiar blues-rock territory, Ben unveils a richer, more atmospheric sound, where late-night grooves, subtle rock dynamics, and sky-bright hooks collide with effortless confidence. Expressive, cinematic, and instantly memorable, the track draws the listener deep into the world of Post-Midnight Behaviour without ever losing its cool, understated power.

“I wanted this album to capture how far I’ve come as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter,” says Poole. “After years of playing more than 150 shows annually across over 20 countries, everything has grown - my guitar style, my technique, my voice, and the way I hear music. Post-Midnight Behaviour is the sound of all those experiences coming together. It moves through Blues, Rock, Soul, Country, and Alternative Rock, but with a darker, late-night energy running through it. I still get to unleash the guitar, but this time it sits inside something more atmospheric, more reflective, and more emotionally charged. That after-hours mood is what inspired the album title.”

“In recent years I’ve released a few live albums, which are great snapshots of a specific moment in time,” adds Poole. “With this new studio album, I wanted to go much further. I took my time to make sure every detail was fully realized - the songs, the sounds, the arrangements, the performances, everything. My writing team and I pushed ourselves harder than ever, digging deep to make the songwriting as strong, sharp, and emotionally powerful as it could be. My guitar style and technique have developed, my singing voice has matured, and my influences have varied. The new album is a journey that combines Blues, Rock, Soul, Country, and Alternative Rock. I still get to let loose on the guitar, but within a more subdued and reflective manner. Ambiance inspired the name of the album, Post-Midnight Behaviour.”

“I have released a few live albums in recent years. They are much quicker and a time stamp on where you are at that moment. I took my time over the new album so that it would be super-realized in every aspect. My writing team and I really pushed ourselves. We dug deep to make sure the songwriting was of the highest quality and the arrangements were carefully structured and perfectly executed. My fans are going to really like what we have created. It was well worth the wait!”

1. NO SECOND CHANCES

A dark, layered opener that sets the tone for the album. Driven by power chords and raw emotion, it follows a man walking away from a relationship that cannot be saved.

“I've tried to understand what you're searching for.
While caught in the battleground of your internal war.”

It builds steadily to one of Ben’s signature guitar solos.

2. EMPTY

Subtle and sultry, this groove creates an evocative backdrop for a man confronting emptiness and fading memory. From that sense of helplessness comes a striking chorus.

“Dive into the deep unknown.
Here I go again, falling further out of the view.
Shadows that I hide within.
Here I go again, forever caught in the black and the blue.”

It rises to another of Ben’s melodic, standout guitar solos.

3. TIME HAS NO MERCY

Hard-edged and urgent, this track is about seizing the moment, believing in yourself, and proving your worth.

“There’s no need to take the easy way out.
Head back into the fire again.
Stand tall and kick back.
Time has no mercy for you.”

It’s the kind of song made for long overnight drives on empty roads when you’re racing toward whatever waits ahead.

4. LIVING ON REPEAT (BURIED IN THE BACKGROUND)

It opens with dark, fuzzy bass and surges forward on jagged, heavy guitar riffs. The song becomes a metaphor for breaking chains, resisting inertia, and forcing a way out.

“I cut and cauterize to see if I can feel this.
I’ll count the days till I’m no longer displaced.
I don’t want this taking over I’m done drifting.”

Fragmented and unsettling, it rejects a clear verse-chorus structure in favour of a single driving impulse: to escape and survive.

5. SUMMER HAZE

With shimmering pop textures and bright, glinting guitars, Summer Haze initially feels light and carefree. But beneath the surface, it tells a wistful story of fleeting love reduced to memory.

“The sun's gone down, the tide is out.
It's all lost in the summer haze where I once knew you.”
