Multi-award-winning and Grammy-nominated singer songwriter Beth Hart returns to the UK to perform four prestigious concerts in September 2027. Planet Rock will run an exclusive 48-hour ticket pre-sale at 10am on Wednesday September 30th via Planet Rock Tickets.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday October 2nd via Alt Tickets, Beth Hart, and Gigantic. Tickets for Beth’s Glasgow concert at SEC Armadillo will go on sale via Ticketmaster.

The September 2027 UK tour includes Manchester, Bridgewater Hall (Sept 21), York, Barbican (Sept 23), Glasgow, SEC Armadillo (Sept 25), and London, Royal Albert Hall (Sept 27).

The UK tour also celebrates the first time Beth will play the Royal Albert Hall in almost 10 years!

“This was never in the plan,” admit the band, but from the moment they announced their Big Bad & Back tour and tickets began flying out, the stars seemed to be aligning. That momentum has naturally led them to write and record their first new music since 1994.

“We would never make a new record unless we felt we still had something to say… and it turns out we do. Toby started writing new ideas and while we were rehearsing the set for the tour, we started to jam around this new material, and it just felt great.”

The band wanted to recapture the feeling of making rock records back in the day. That meant getting into a room together and playing live, capturing the true spirit of the band and the songs in the moment.

Following the band’s reunion and rehearsals in their hometown of Scarborough, the Angels headed to Lincolnshire to record at Chapel Studios. After spending a very hot but magical week tracking the material, the finished recordings made their way across the Atlantic to Vancouver, a place that holds an important place in the band’s history.

Little Angels mixed their number one album Jam at legendary Little Mountain Studios in Vancouver, where Bon Jovi recorded Slippery When Wet and Aerosmith recorded and mixed Permanent Vacation and Pump. Sadly, Little Mountain Studios is no longer there, but Mike Fraser, who recorded and mixed those Aerosmith records, certainly is.

The band felt Fraser was the perfect choice to mix the new material, explaining: “We encouraged him to evoke the spirit of those great records that he mixed back in the day.”

Toby Jepson expands on the thinking behind the new material: “Lyrically the challenge was always going to be, how do you take what Little Angels represented back then and bring it into the modern world with guys that are now in their mid 50s?

“We discussed what the past meant to us and the penny dropped. This wasn’t about youth anymore, of course not, it’s about reflecting on where we had come from, and the kind of people we are now and all of a sudden, it made sense - this is about returning home.”

GREATS IN AID OF CHILDREN WITH CANCER UK

Formerly known as Manfred Mann, The Manfreds had a run of giant hits in the sixties with songs like Do Wah Diddy Diddy, Pretty Flamingo and 5-4-3-2-1. The band’s singer Paul Jones is widely acknowledged as a giant of British blues, and hosted BBC Radio 2’s blues show for three decades.

Among the contemporary acts, supporting The Manfreds will be Elles Bailey, one of the UK’s finest vocalists and Multi award winning – chart leading artists, whose recent album ‘Can’t Take My Story Away’ reached top 20 in the official UK album charts and blues duo When Rivers Meet, who have had three top 20 UK albums.

Other acts on the bill include guitar-great Ben Poole, award-winning vocalist Kyla Brox, blues proggers Burning Rope, soul-blues band Connolly Hayes and hosts The Milk Men.

Milkfest is the brainchild of acclaimed British blues rock band The Milk Men. The bands’ guitarist Adam Norsworthy is the festival’s organizer. “We are delighted to be able to put on another stunning range of blues-influenced acts that span seven decades, from sixties legends to contemporary greats.”, he said. “We are also thrilled to be moving to a new home at the iconic O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, a venue that has seen everyone from Bowie to the Stones perform there”.

Milkfest performer Elles Bailey said: ““I’m very excited to be playing Milkfest 2027. I’m so glad to be part of a musical event where that sense of togetherness can help make a real difference to children and families who, at a time in their lives that can be so terrifying and difficult to navigate and understand, need it most. I can’t wait to see you all there!”

Having previously supported the Brain Tumour Charity and Dementia UK, this year’s chosen charity is Children With Cancer UK. The charity’s Entertainment Director James Mannion said, “We are delighted to be partnering MILKFEST to help raise awareness of childhood cancer. We are incredibly grateful for their fundraising efforts and for the opportunity this concert provides to shine a spotlight on this important cause.

The support raised will help our charity fund vital research into kinder, more effective treatments for children with cancer”.

Children With Cancer UK has been supporting families and childhood cancer research since 1988, developing kinder treatments, improved public and scientific understanding of childhood cancer.
