Why am I so eager for this wicked surrender to false, intimate comfort? At least I believe that I may have gotten to bed ahead of 11 p.m. last evening. And imagine ─ there was not a hint in yesterday's post of what was to follow its publication, so swift and immediate this decadence takes its hold upon being entertained.

I was not to hear my wife arrive home last night following her full day at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time. I had sent her a Facebook Messenger text to remind her that with the June 14 home insurance billing coming due, she must remain aware that the $500 I foolishly e-Transferred her 10 or more days back has to be repaid.

And as I type these words around 2:15 p.m., she has just hit me up for $50 cash so she can go shopping and buy some meat. I don't mind so much when I know she is being dutiful, but I should have had more brains than to be e-Transferring to her late in the evening when she is not home and likely partying after working that day at the restaurant, which is located very near to a casino.

It is a sunny day today, and she is home because she has the day off work, though I am expecting that as she usually does on Wednesdays, in the latter afternoon ─ or very early evening at latest ─ she will leave and not return until Friday.

She has a life. I gave mine up ─ even God seems to be stressing this to be so, otherwise He would help me in the only way I am capable of recognizing. Frankly, I need money to ever be free of my thralldom to debtors and all of the heavy responsibilities that devolve upon me as the sole name to this heavily mortgaged house we all live in.

Living here, I am but a crippled, corrupted dependant upon everyone else.

I awoke last night in the wee hours. I never checked the time. But I was distraught over my financial inadequacy and my unspeakable weakness of moral character. This ate at me so severely that I lay awake for what seemed a couple of uncomfortable hours, wishing that I could be free of responsibility to my family so that I could die ... forever. Only this weight of responsibility keeps me living this pointless, sorry life that I have, locked away for the most part in my tiny bedroom where I keep this bedside computer.

I did anon gain sleep again; and when my 6 a.m. alarm chimed, I did not feel worse than I usually tend to feel at that point in the morning.

My youngest stepson was still up, and he remained so for at least the next hour ─ I don't understand why he does this whenever he has the next day off work, which I am assuming is why he is still in bed.

Anyway, perhaps my agitation worked in my favour in one small sense, for when I went out to the backyard tool shed shortly after 7:30 a.m. for my usual 15-minute exercise session there, that first set of pull-ups saw me manage three repetitions. The next five sets of pull-ups and chin-ups only resulted in a single repetition in each, but it has been weeks at least since I last managed three pull-ups in a set.

As always, I then underwent the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

I felt undeserving of a meal, and thus all I have ingested so far today were the two morning mugs of rich instant coffee.

My younger brother never emerged from his bedroom until well enough past 8 a.m. to watch his news shows. As usual, I never hobbled back downstairs to join him until maybe 9:10 a.m.

At his invitation, I activated our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box, and then tuned in a one-hour (1:00:18) video streamed yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: CBC Funded "TV Prank" is worse than you think...with Frances Widdowson.

Next I resorted to the USB drive or stick in our T95Q Android 9 TV Box and returned to the video we had watched 30 or 40 minutes of two mornings ago. The video exceeded 1¼ hours (1:17:08), and had been published June 21, 2022, to Rumble's America's Untold Stories channel: Who Was Clay Shaw: Innocent New Orleans Businessman or JFK Conspirator?

Clay Shaw is best known for being the only person brought to trial for involvement in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Shaw was acquitted in 1969 after less than one hour of jury deliberation. But is there more to the story?

After that I tuned in a YouTube video comprised of numerous supposed 'fails' by women, but I can't locate it anymore on YouTube ... and it wasn't largely that interesting anyway.

We finished up with a documentary that we only watched a third of, I believe, so we will need to return to it in the next day or two.

We broke from the documentary so my brother could return to his bedroom for further bed rest, and I was back to bed soon enough for a pretty good nap. My wife had not yet risen, but she was up when I rose at 1:30 p.m.

My youngest stepson was finally up around 3:40 p.m. and he and his mother seemed to be having quite a row. Apparently some of it involved my malignment for not looking into having our home insurance paid on a monthly basis, the young lad reportedly claiming he asked me to look into doing this a couple of years ago, according to his mother (he and I only talked of it a few months back, at most).

From the sound of the slamming of the front door when I suppose he headed off to use her car to go and get coffee at Tim Hortons, he's evidently quite bummed out.

I am going to break from blogging now at 4:06 p.m., for I think he may have just returned.

Soon after my blogging break, my stepson stopped by my open bedroom doorway on his way to shower in the bathroom, and we talked. Neither of us can cope with these massive annual billings for utilities (done in early April), home insurance June 14, and property taxes July 2.

So we concluded that after having an open consultation at some soon point with my brother when he is sober, we'll see what he may be able to extend; but we have no other option but to seek credit from the province for the property taxes and also perhaps consent to monthly billings towards next year's property taxation bill.

As well, I will contact our agent for the home insurance and see if we can get billed monthly instead of annually ─ and maybe even drop our insurance coverage level, if possible. I am awaiting mail delivery of the latest proposed coverage package that a landline telephone message late last week said was coming. The South Asian woman gave her indecipherable first name, and the general phone number for the insurance agency offices, but what good is that when I cannot phone and identify whom I am calling to speak to?

At least that discussion with the lad (28 years old?) was had.

I thought that maybe his mother left during this conversation, but it developed that she had merely undertaken a nap in her bedroom.

I got some 17 minutes into a movie here on my bedside computer while enjoying a Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol), when I was just about certain that I could hear her bustling through her bedroom door and that of the bathroom that is scrapingly / squeakingly loud for some reason when she opens it.

She was readying to leave, but almost groggy and professing her sleepiness.

I suppose that it was around 5:45 p.m. when she left, freeing me to resume my movie. It was the 2013 Christmas movie A Very Merry Mix-Up. My chosen source was at M4uHD.page, but I see that it is available at YouTube here if the link remains valid.

I watched it because I am enchanted by Alicia Witt. However, the write-up sounded exactly like at least one other Christmas movie I have watched these past two or three years; and I could not believe that Alicia was the lead in a Christmas movie back in 2013 that I have somehow missed seeing before.

I tried it out, and early into it realized that it was indeed new to me.

I drank two cans of beer, and had to use restraint not to get into some wine. Alicia is my dream girl, I think. She looks and sounds exactly like a girl (Jean C.) I was devastatingly addicted to back in the very late 1970s on into the early 1980s, and who would now be in her early 70s.

One of my favourite features of Alicia are her fully muscled legs, and these were magnificently displayed late in the movie when she was doing a little running in her tight dark leggings in a mix of rain and wet snow.

Jean C. had legs like Alicia's. But enough of that.

I had to work at involving myself into the movie due to how distressed I am, but I was soon enough feeling the emotion. In my case, I wanted to be obliterated ─ just struck out of existence by God, for I am too great a loser and can never be functional and socially normal. I am done. I need ending if this is all the life I am to know anymore ─ end it, and let's let everyone else move on.

The movie was over by 7:01 p.m., and maybe 7:15 p.m. I heard my younger brother enter the house, home from wherever he had bused in the early afternoon to social drink.

I had thought that the movie would be all I would watch this evening, but it ended a bit too early for a bedtime. So I poured a dozen ounces of Domaine d'Or red wine (12% alcohol) from the wine box my wife surrendered before she left, and somehow I got a tumbler-full of the lovely drink.

And I reluctantly tuned in Smash ─ episode 11 ("The Movie Star") of season one. My source was to be at TVSeries.video. It was finished by 8:51 p.m.

I was concerned that after the lovely and emotional Alicia Witt Christmas movie, this show would be a waste of my time and the wine, but it proved deeply involving. This is a darned good series, as it usually proves every episode.

And I had entirely forgotten about the song "Our Day Will Come" by Ruby & the Romantics ─ I used to love it back in my younger years, singing to it a lot.

Darn it! I just got sidetracked watching old music performances from the 1960s of artists I loved so much. I was going to watch a sitcom and drink a little further, but I will not now. I am going to get to bed for it is already 9:45 p.m. and I was planning the two-mile round trip hobble to my financial institution's nearest ATM so I could make a $500 deposit of cash I have on hand ─ I can't even take the 15 minutes to brush my teeth.

I hate my life.

Due to getting myself to bed ahead of 10 p.m. last evening, my wife was not yet home from work. But I heard her arrive home before I was yet asleep; and not a long while later, I was aware when she thought she was sneaking open my bedroom door to fetch the open four-litre box of Domaine d'Or red wine (12% alcohol) that she knows I keep very near to the door.

I was perfectly fine with that ─ in fact, I was tickled by the act of mischief.

I did sleep, and well enough ... at least until towards the end of the night when I began feeling too unpleasant to find sleep any longer. It was a systemic 'burnout' such as might result from overheating and thirst from some earlier excessive meal, although I had eaten before 5 p.m. yesterday, and it was not a large meal. But it did involve a lot of peanut butter, and I do not seem to fare well during the night if I have anything like a thickly-spread peanut butter sandwich too late in my day.

Consequently when my 6 a.m. alarm chimed, I did not feel especially well slept.

It was to of course be a typical morning for me. I was eventually to have my 15-minute exercise session out in the backyard tool shed, once again opening the six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups with two repetitions in the first set, and just one in the other five sets, followed by the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

I was back into the house some minutes ahead of 8 a.m.; and since my wife had cooked up a penne pasta dish, I selected what was left over as the first of my two daily meals, and I enjoyed it here at my bedside computer.

I believe that I was done eating before my younger brother emerged from his bedroom to watch his T.V. news shows and have some instant coffee. There is no sense in joining him until around 9:10 a.m. unless I want to watch the same fare.

I have no such want, so I followed my usual routine, but it was still at least 9:15 a.m. before he turned control of the T.V. over to me so that I could commence operation of our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box.

First up was a 17-minute (17:06) video published yesterday to Rumble's Libertytalkcanada channel: Canadians May Be Cut Off From Fishing In Canada Under Communist Carney. Urgent.

It may have been as late as 9:50 a.m. before my wife emerged from her bedroom for a quick shower and to otherwise ready for her full day of work at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, and she was away on her fairly long drive by 10:10 a.m., poor thing.

At the time, my brother and I were watching a 51-minute (51:29) video streamed yesterday to YouTube's Redacted channel: HIGH ALERT! US PREPARING FALSE FLAG ATTACK ON CUBA, TRUMP TELLS IRAN 'CLOCK IS TICKING' | REDACTED.

There was no video description, but the guests were retired Colonel Douglas Macgregor and then Dr. Pierre Kory.

We were to watch just one more show ─ Mystery Road; and specifically, episode three ("Chasing Ghosts") of the first season.

Always good ─ Aaron Pedersen is an excellent and believable actor.

My brother returned to his bedroom for further bed rest after the show, and I may have been to bed well ahead of noon for my nap, but I was done late into the noon hour and feeling none too refreshed for it. In fact, It took me a half dozen or more minutes before I could pull myself from bed. I badly wanted to try for another bout of sleep, but that might result in a further hour down the drain, and I didn't want to fritter away the afternoon.

The day itself has been unexpectedly overcast. I may have seen some blue patches, but if so, they have been rare.

Right now it is 3:49 p.m., and I have noticed some mail downstairs on the coffee table. At 4 p.m. or soon after Bev usually goes back to the bedroom she shares with my brother to do whatever she does to freshen up in their en suite shower room, so I am waiting for her to do that before I hobble downstairs to get the mail and gather together my day's second and final meal.

Until I do that, I am withholding watching a first of three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer while enjoying a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol), for I do not want to have to hobble downstairs in full view of her where she is parked on the living room chesterfield.

Meantime, I might as well take my blogging break now, and then I will finish up later in the evening. I am fairly fresh from my afternoon light exercise session in my wife's vacant bedroom, a half hour affair.

The darned sky seemed to clear right up after I took my break from blogging.

Anyway, after eating I tuned in Van Helsing ─ episode nine ("No 'I' In Team") of season four. My source was at TVSeries.video.

This surely was one of the best episodes of the entire series! Well worth the can of beer I drank.

I neglected to take note of when the episode was finished, but it might have been around 5:45 p.m. at most.

I sure was not thrilled to see that the next show on my rotation was Madam Secretary ─ specifically, episode 17 ("Face the Nation") of the first long season with even more episodes to go before we can move into season two. And there are six such seasons!

I have felt temptation to dump the series, for I despise politics and government.

At least this episode had a couple or more eye-burning scenes that definitely affected me. And of course, my second can of beer this evening helped.

My third ─ and generally last ─ show of the evening was Betrayal. As it happened, the single season series finale episode ("...A Better Place"). My source was VidSrcMe.ru.

What a crappy finish to a series! It feels like the entire series was a waste of time.

I'm not even going to speak on it further. It was done by 8:19 p.m., and I had poured a dozen ounces of red wine into a tumbler to enjoy over the disappointing show.

I was to realize that my brother must have newly gotten home, and was dressing down in his bedroom.

Concerning the wine, I obtained it from the nearly depleted four-litre box that my wife appropriated last night. I am unsure if there is even a dozen ounces remaining ─ I quite doubt it. I have two more unbroached four-litre boxes in my bedroom, so if my wife is not home before I go to bed and she discovers that she hasn't sufficient for her needs, she will need to be bold enough to 'sneak' into my bedroom later and spirit away a fresh box ─ which I do not mind at all.

She usually has tomorrow off work, so she may not be home until the wee a.m.

Returning just briefly to Betrayal, the two main actresses are of course Hannah Ware and Wendy Moniz. I have researched them both since watching the episode, and have now downloaded the earliest movie each of them acted in. In Wendy's case, she started in a T.V. series, but it's a soap opera, so to hell with that. I had hoped that at least one of them had a T.V. series I could commence in place of Betrayal.

Now, my whole reason for ever watching Betrayal was because it featured a small part by Alicia Witt. I rather adore the actress!

So what is next where her acting history is concerned that I am either able or willing to access? A 2013 movie called A Very Merry Mix-Up. The write-up describing it does sound familiar, but the title does not turn up in my blog when I do a search. And this seems impossible juxtaposed with my attraction to Alicia.

Well, I reckon I'm going to have to watch it tomorrow, probably beginning in the late afternoon. It will supplant two of the T.V. series I would normally have watched.

It is presently 9:49 p.m. ─ late enough, I think. I am going to start wrapping up everything I have open here on my computer and get to bed.

Violent Gambit

As I recall, I do not believe that my wife was yet home from work last evening when I went to bed ─ which I do not believe was all that much ahead of 11 p.m. The poor girl has not been enjoying any of my wine ─ I think that she is too guilty over the $500 she asked for and got from me well over a week ago now.

My worries over my financial status overcame me early this morning and prevented me from sleeping or even resting easy until the sounding of my 6 a.m. alarm ─ I finally rose before 6 a.m. had yet arrived and cancelled the alarm. This emotional disturbance over debt is debilitating ─ it induces moral erosion.

Today was the Victoria Day statutory holiday, so I knew that I could have gone forth to do the shopping I did not have the confidence to do yesterday morning; but financial scarcity and public aversion stayed me home again. The morning was so perilously sunny ─ I used that negative term because of my inhibition over hobbling anywhere in the broad daylight, for I feel open and exposed and vulnerable.

Instead, I slow-boiled water for my morning's first mug of instant coffee with which I would be chasing down an aspirin, and I went outside and spent a half hour watering front yard garden areas.

Then after I fixed up my mug of coffee and brought it upstairs here to my bedside computer to drink, I busied myself here as is my custom.

I was to get a good look at myself in the bathroom mirror thereafter ─ bleary, almost purplish-rimmed eyes, with swollen pouches beneath them. I had slept that poorly worrying? I would never have braved the public looking like that!

There was no excuse for avoiding my usual backyard tool shed exercise session, so around 7:30 a.m. I headed out there to deal with that. It proved very usual: I opened the first set of six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups with two pull-ups, but only one repetition in the remaining five sets.

And naturally, I also did the squat work to try and strengthen my crippled right leg.

The entire session only takes about 15 minutes, so I was back into the house well ahead of 8 a.m., but my younger brother was already downstairs watching his T.V. news programmes while having a coffee.

We exchanged a "good morning" after I gathered up my day's first meal, and then I brought it upstairs here to eat while I again busied myself at my computer.

It was just past 9 a.m. when I hobbled back downstairs to watch some T.V. with my brother, and he very quickly turned it over to me so that I could begin operation of our Android TV Boxes.

Activating the R69 Plus Android 14, I led us off with a 15-minute (15:40) video uploaded earlier today to YouTube's Moose on the Loose channel: Carney Is Screwed! Conservative MP Heads to Taiwan Forcing His Hand.

Out third video was 37 minutes (37:44), and had been published May 15 to Rumble's Lara Logan channel: COVID: The Cover-Up & Crimes Against Humanity with Sen. Ron Johnson | Ep 80 | Going Rogue with Lara.

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) joins the show to talk about the Senate filibuster, deep state resistance, and suppressed vaccine safety data, alleging that federal agencies concealed serious adverse events to avoid vaccine hesitancy. He also addresses COVID-19's suspected lab origins, suppressed early treatments, and why holding officials accountable matters now more than ever.

That was followed with You ─ episode seven ("Everythingship") of the first season.

When that was done, I switched over to our T95Q Android 9 TV Box with the USB or thumb drive inserted, and we got maybe better than a half hour into a nearly 1½-hour video that had to be cut short so my brother could return to his bedroom for further bed rest.

I was into my own bed for a nap early into the noon hour, rising again about an hour later.

Despite the holiday, my wife had a full workday scheduled at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, and so she emerged from her bedroom around 9:35 a.m. to shower and such, and was away on her rather long and sunny drive about a half hour later.

I was to use her vacant bedroom for a light exercise session, roughly spanning 2:30 - 3 p.m.

Early this morning I considered the possibility of getting in some sunning in the afternoon, but there has been far too much huge drifts of cloud everywhere despite loads of sunshine. I don't want to be wasting my time out there sitting under a huge drifting cloud.

I have still not sunned at all this year.

Around 3:30 p.m. I went out to the backyard and watered the garden plants out there, and then back in the house I fixed up my day's second and final meal that I will enjoy after I first watch a T.V. show here on my bedside computer and indulge in a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol).

At present it is 3:49 p.m., so I am taking my blogging break a little earlier than I usually do. I will finish up and publish this post in the latter evening.

The show I watched was Legacies ─ episode eight ("This Christmas Was Surprisingly Violent") of season two. My source was at TVSeries.video.

I got quite a kick out of this one ─ I love Christmas, as painful and excruciating as it always is for me now.

And the three main actresses portraying the three main female characters are as alluringly beautiful as ever.

The show and my can of beer were done by 4:43 p.m., and so I then had my filling meal.

I was not too fussy that Harlots was next on my rotational list of series I watch, but I knew that I am always able to get immersed into the episodes ─ this time it was episode seven of the third season. My source was this OK.ru link.

My curiosity finally got the better of me as to why man-like 'Nanc' (Nancy) seems to be always walking around carrying what looks to be a whisk broom. Now I know:

Nancy Birch (played by Kate Fleetwood) carries the long whisk broom in Harlots because she is a high-demand dominatrix. The broom is actually a bundle of birch twigs she uses as a whip for discipline and flagellation with her clients.
Nancy is an intimidating, no-nonsense protector who rules the streets and uses her work tools to maintain dominance over men. The whisk broom also serves as a subtle nod to the historical figure she is based on: Nancy Burroughs, an 18th-century bawd who was famous for going through "more birch rods in a week" than the Westminster school.

The show was done by 6:38 p.m. And due to its length, I waited over 15 minutes before opening my second and final can of beer.

Afterwards I took a break to brush my teeth ─ 15 minutes or so.

Then I was practically delighted to discover that the next show on my list was The 100 ─ episode seven ("The Queen's Gambit") of season seven. For just over 17 minutes my source was at M4uFree.cx, but then the video buffered without let, so I finished watching it at GOOJARA.to.

It was the most exciting show of the three, and the one to touch me the deepest.

A tumbler of a dozen ounces of Domaine d'Or red wine (12% alcohol) accompanied the feature, which ended no later than 8:25 p.m.

I heard my brother come home through the front door at 8:44 p.m. from wherever he had bused in the early afternoon to go and social drink.

Right now it is 8:57 p.m. and definitely too early to be getting to bed. Nevertheless, I am going to publish this post. Possibly I will be to bed by 9:30 p.m., but certainly well before 10 p.m.

I was to bed last evening somewhere in between 10:30 and 11 p.m., but I was still desirous of more time in bed when my 6 a.m. cellphone alarm chimed this morning.

I fully believed that I would be either visiting a pharmacy or else the grocery store when both opened at 8 a.m. ─ they are nearby one another, a round trip hobble of about a mile. But I became more and more concerned about my financial status and the annual home insurance billing due for payment June 14 on top of my fortnightly mortgage payment worries ─ and I also correctly believed that my younger brother would be making a beer run early this afternoon to the government liquor store two miles away, and I wanted inclusion in that outing.

Since I wanted to buy another two dozen cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) and a four-litre box of Domaine d'Or red wine, that in itself was going to cost me $84.10.

The conclusion to this is that I fretted myself out of the early hobble to either the drug store or the grocery store ─ that dismissal was made the easier by a brilliantly sunny morning. How I miss having late dark mornings!

By the time I reached that decision to cancel the early outing, I saw myself with no option but to have my usual backyard tool shed exercise session. It was to prove as usual where the six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups were concerned: two pull-ups in the first set, and then just one repetition in each of the other five sets.

And naturally, I also did the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

It was just after 8 a.m. when I came back into the house. I dished up my day's first small meal, and brought that upstairs here to eat here at my bedside computer.

When 9 a.m. rolled around, I could hear my brother stirring in his bedroom, so that galvanized me to hobble downstairs to take possession of the T.V. By the time he came forth, I was all set with our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box to play a 10-minute (10:05) video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: Did he just send Canada's Climate Minister into Panic Mode?!

I had a hunch what would happen when the episode was done ─ my brother requested episode three ("The Zookeeper") as well. This suited me because I doubted he would much appreciate what I planned on playing next, for it would have seemed dull by comparison to The Night Agent.

My brother returned to his bedroom for further bed rest, but I dared not seek a nap, so I simply lay in my bed fully clothed with my bedroom door ajar to best hear when there was activity again by my brother, for he had confirmed the liquor store trip before he went upstairs to his bedroom.

My wife had a full workday today, and did not emerge from her bedroom until at least 9:45 a.m., so she had to hurry in readying for her rather long and sunny drive to the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time. It was around 10:10 a.m. when she left us.

There would be no afternoon exercise session in her bedroom for me because this was a bath day, and that chore takes me an hour from the time I step into the bathroom until I exit it. I had thought maybe there might actually be sufficient time for the half hour of exercise if I cared to dare it, but I managed to fritter away that window of time.

Incidentally, stripped naked for my bath I weighed around 184 pounds; mid-afternoon yesterday I was no worse than 181 pounds.

I don't get it.

Anyway, somehow right now it is 6:01 p.m., so I am breaking to watch my usual total of three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer; I will finish and publish this post in the latter evening.

With a can of beer for enhancement, I tuned in The Expanse ─ episode eight ("Pyre") of season two. My source was at TVSeries.video.

It was good; and I vaguely remember something of it back pre-COVID when I used to watch shows with my brother late into the evenings while drinking together. All I can remember is the bit about little Mei who was thought to be killed when battle debris fell onto an environmentally-contained research station off in space.

The show was over by 6:56 p.m.

Next up ─ along with another can of beer ─ was Stargirl. This time episode three ("Summer School: Chapter Three") of season two. Again, my source was at TVSeries.video.

When I saw that this series was next on my rotational roster of shows I watch here in my bedroom, I felt more uplift than I did over The Expanse ─ actually, I felt nothing for The Expanse because it's just too impossibly futuristic and complicated. Stargirl is more relevant, even if ludicrously fantastic.

Anyway, it was done by 7:58 p.m.

Before starting my third show, my brother arrived home from wherever he had bused in the early afternoon to social drink ─ he left very soon after our liquor store trip together.

I decided to take the 15 minutes or so to brush my teeth and get that chore over with.

My final show was new to me ─ and longer than I was prepared for with a mere 12 ounces of red wine in a glass tumbler, for the show exceeded 1⅔ hours. I am speaking of Necessary Roughness ─ the pilot episode of season one.

This was really good! Not Friday Nights Lights good, but still very good!

Actress Callie Thorne was familiar to me, but I just couldn't place her ─ it seemed like from a sitcom. However, now I suspect that it was the series Rescue Me.

My source was yet again TVSeries.video. And somehow, my tumbler of wine lasted me without using discipline, which I did not expect ─ I thought maybe I would have to extend things with some hard liquor, a little of which I do have on hand.

It was all done by 9:46 p.m.

Right now it is 10:31 p.m. and I am going to publish this, and then start closing down everything I need to before shutting down my computer and getting to bed. As yet my wife has not returned home ─ I think that she usually has a full day scheduled for Mondays. And tomorrow is a statutory holiday (Victoria Day), so maybe the restaurant will be even busier than usual ─ I have no idea, though.

My wife got home around 10 p.m. last evening. And although I may not have gotten to bed until after 10:30 p.m., she and I never communicated.

My cellphone alarm was set for 6 a.m. this morning, but when it sounded and I turned it off, I opted to remain in bed. I had decided that I would fast until after 6 p.m., including taking no coffee, so the prospect of not having that boost made getting up exclusively unattractive.

However, not a half hour later I had normalized too much to sleep and I thus decided to rise after all ─ I was even considering a morning backyard tool shed exercise session.

And indeed I was to soon enough have it ─ the usual six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, followed by the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg. The six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups were unremarkable: two in the first set, and just one in each of the ensuing five sets. And since I am getting back into dead hangs, I held the dead hang of the final pull-up (between the two sides of the child's playground ladder) for a mere 30-count. I think that I made a 45-count yesterday morning.

As explained many times before, I have no chin-up bar to work with out in the shed. Instead I have an old metal ladder to a child's slide, and the ladder is stretched across roof rafters. It is high enough that I have to stand on a chair to reach it. And since the ladder's sides are quite thick by circumference or diameter compared to a chin-up bar, I cannot properly grip a side like I could a chin-up bar, virtually enveloping it with my hand. With the ladder's thicker sides, my hands largely cup overtop them, so I do not have the secure grip that a chin-up bar affords.

And so my generally poor performances out there.

We seemed to get quite a lot of rain overnight, and temperatures are relatively low. In the early morning, it is uncomfortable outside.

I noticed a recorded telephone message on our house phone (or landline) from the group we have as agents for our home insurance. The renewal due date is June 14, and the quoted coverage billing is $1,973.

If my wife repays me the $500 I stupidly e-Transferred her not a week ago when she phoned me one evening shortly after I had gone to bed ─ failing at that moment to realize that she was likely partying after work and/or at the casino nearby where she works ─ I might manage whatever my share of the coverage is going to be. I will still have to cover all of a $991.55 mortgage payment June 25, as well as a substantial amount of another such payment on June 11.

I don't want to talk about this now ─ it makes me feel unwell.

My younger brother emerged from his bedroom well past 8 a.m. to watch T.V. news programmes and have some instant coffee. I joined him for T.V. a few minutes past 9 a.m., but he never invited me to take over until 9:20 a.m., if not even a little later than that.

Powering on our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box, I tuned in three fairly short videos ─ the three most recent at Rumble's Free Your Mind Videos channel, all of which had been published there earlier today.

Next up was The Outpost ─ the premiere episode ("Someone Has to Rule") of season four. Always entertaining, and Jessica Greene is a feast for the eyes.

Then switching over to the T95Q Android 9 TV Box and the USB drive (or thumb drive) inserted into one of its two ports, we finished the last half hour (at most) of the video we never sat all the way through yesterday.

At over 1⅓ hours (1:24:08), the video had been streamed June 28, 2022, to Rumble's America's Untold Stories channel: Who is Ruth Paine Pt 2 w/ Max Good of The Assassination and Mrs Paine.

My wife was apparently only scheduled to work the latter part of the day, but she emerged from her bedroom around 11 a.m., if I am remembering correctly. While I was watching by myself the tail end of that last video, she went out front in her housecoat and started some gardening.

I think that I had just returned to my bed for my midday nap when she returned into the house. Apart from our initial exchange of "good morning" when she first came down the stairs, we were never to communicate further.

My nap ended when I checked the time around 12:58 p.m., which I thought to be excessively early. I remained here at my bedside computer while my wife bustled about; and then around 2 p.m. she seemed to leave.

Not knowing if she was only darting out on some errand, I never entered her bedroom for an afternoon light exercise session until around 3:30 p.m. If she has to work the latter part of the day at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, it opens at either 4 or 4:30 p.m. following a mid-afternoon closure, so my wife normally leaves here soon past 3 p.m. She would not return home following any errands if it was as late as 3:30 p.m.

I weighed myself after the exercise ─ stripped naked, I may have been as much as 181 pounds.The analogue scale reading fluctuates each time it is freshly stepped upon, but 181 pounds was the very most I possibly weighed. Likely I was even a bit under.

The day has been a mix of brilliant sunshine and heavy cloud, but I feel that we are done with any rain.

I still have no intention of eating until after 6 p.m., but I am not going to withstand a little drinking as I take my blogging break now to watch three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer. I will conclude and publish the post in the latter evening.

With a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) at hand, I started off with The Gifted ─ episode 11 ("meMento") of season two. My source was at M4uFree.cx.

I enjoy this series, and I particularly like the three actresses portraying three of the different beautiful regular characters. Depending on how a fourth actress proves herself who is also a regular character in the series, I may include her with the other three as actresses whose other work I will seek out.

But I have no intention to get into this at present.

The show was over by 6:09 p.m., but I opted to watch something else before having my day's only meal.

As it turned out, I compromised. With my second can of beer, I tuned in The Alienist ─ episode six ("Memento Mori") of season two. Again my source was at M4uFree.cx.

I could not catch the exact term that "the alienist" used when hearing of the male villain ("Goo Goo" Knox) suckling the milk from his lover Libby's milk-swollen breasts, but perhaps it was merely lactophilia.

I have never been involved with a breast-feeding woman on an intimate level, but I well understand the allure ─ I would easily succumb.

Anyway, I went through my can of beer rather quickly because I had decided that I would have my day's meal once 7 p.m. was surpassed. And so it went. I ate, and finished just as the show ended at 7:24 p.m.

At 7:42 p.m. at most, I heard my brother enter the house, home from wherever he had bused in the early afternoon to social drink.

At this point I took a break to brush my teeth, generally a 15-minute job. And when all done, I poured myself a dozen ounces of Domaine d'Or red wine (12% alcohol) into a glass tumbler and tuned in Superman & Lois ─ episode eight ("Guess Who's Coming to Dinner") of season three.

This time my source was at TVSeries.video, and the episode was over with by 9:31 p.m.

I was to discover the short hallway light on outside my bedroom door ─ my wife is almost always the one who turns it on and leaves it. But it was soon pretty clear that someone else was at fault.

I truly enjoy Superman & Lois, and I do not say that easily about any DC T.V. series.

I am going to publish this post and start shutting down the various browsers, tabs, and software I still have open, then I will be getting to bed. Right now it is 10:34 p.m., and I should be to bed by 10:45 p.m. at latest.

I'm pretty sure that it was after 10 p.m. when I got to bed last night, but before 10:30 p.m. My cellphone alarm was set for 6 a.m. even though I had considered rising at 3 a.m. for an outing to the elementary school playground ─ a ¾ mile round trip hobble ─ for some exercise there.

The notion was not entirely dismissed ─ I thought that if I happened to be awake naturally around that time and felt like going, then I could do so; and if I was not awake, then clearly my sleep was more important.

A point in my night arrived when I had awakened and was in need of urinary relief. However, the T.V. was still playing downstairs, so my younger brother had yet to go to bed. I wondered if I might be able to slip down the very short hallway to the bathroom without being noticed attired in just my undershorts? The need was dire, so I decided to give it a try ... and then I noticed that the bathroom was already occupied.

My infernal youngest stepson must have usurped it. That young prick seems to intuit how best to make my life as inconvenient as possible where that bathroom is concerned!

There was no sense in lying in bed in discomfort until such time as he exited the facilities ─ it could be another half hour or more! So I had no option but to use an empty 1.75-litre yogourt container that I have on hand for such an emergency.

It was 12:11 a.m. as I returned to bed.

Oddly, later in my night I was again experiencing wakefulness and needing similar relief ─ usually two cans of beer and a dozen ounces of wine in the evening do not require this degree of required drainage overnight. At least everyone else had gone to bed, so the bathroom was free.

If I am remembering right, it was 2:54 a.m. And though I returned to bed, I was aware that I could just remain up and have that outing to the school. But I was craving sleep; and if I did deny that craving, and dress and go forth into the night, I probably would not be returning to bed any earlier than 5:30 a.m. and would have difficulty thereafter sleeping due to having accelerated my mind and my metabolism.

So I was to sleep further. And when my 6 a.m. alarm finally sounded, it roused me ─ and I still wished I could remain in bed seeking more sleep. I did not feel at all rested.

When I hobbled downstairs to boil water for a mug of instant coffee with which to wash down an aspirin, I just lay deliciously on the chesterfield with my eyes covered awaiting the water's boiling, knowing that once I began drinking the coffee I would be committed to remaining up.

But that was the way of it.

I later yet had my unremarkable backyard tool shed exercising ─ six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups with a single repetition in each, apart from the first set where I managed to force out two pull-ups; and then the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg. I was back into the house just ahead of 8 a.m. and dishing up a fairly light first meal of my day when my brother came downstairs with an armload of laundry he was going to start laundering.

I returned to my bedroom and this bedside computer where I had my meal; and it was not until nigh 9:10 a.m. that I again hobbled downstairs to join my brother for our morning T.V. together.

By then it sounded like it was raining quite hard outside, for the morning had been heavily overcast; I expected the day would remain threatened with further rain, for the cloud cover was heavy. However, in the early latter afternoon, there was sunshine, and quite a lot of it. I was having my light exercise session in my wife's vacant bedroom at the time.

The cloud cover did fully resume later in the afternoon.

I had been expecting my wife to show up, for she generally has to work the latter part of Fridays at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time. And sure enough, at 2:06 p.m. I heard her come into the house.

Soon, she was busy cooking.

Lord, I am so glad that I did not watch my first show as my last show of the evening ─ what a sick, sorry mess! So damned depressing. I don't need that!

It was Black Mirror ─ the premiere episode ("Common People") of season or series seven. I watched the episode at TVSeries.video.

What I do not understand is why Chris O'Dowd's character would choose to return to the masochist website to either remove some body part ─ or else suicide ─ for the entertainment of the perverted viewers who pay people to harm themselves. He had just smothered his wife, the only reason he had for living ─ what possible reason would he have for money now, or even for remaining alive?

I gather that he had become too weary and probably physically and mentally dysfunctional to be able to go out in a raging crusade of vengeance against Rivermind Technologies, but continuing on even just once to self-harm for the viewing pleasure of the Dum Dummies website makes no sense to me.

The disgusting episode was done by 6:05 p.m., and I had made a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) last me.

My next show did a superb job of erasing most of the first one's distaste. Unfortunately, whatever praise I may have given at this second series' debut episode when I watched it a couple or so weeks ago at most, I no longer feel it. The main character has grown to be exceptionally annoying to me, and I am wondering whether to abandon it.

I am speaking of Psych ─ this time episode three ("Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Piece") of the first season. My source was at M4uFree.cx.

The bride-to-be in this episode was so darned familiar to me, but I could not place the series she had been in. This has led me to check the identities of the cast playing the characters, and now I realize that it was delightfully appealing Gina Holden. I guess what threw me was that I never noticed her to be as exceptionally thin of limb in this episode of Black Mirror as she always seemed on Blood Ties.

I drank another can of beer during the show, which ended at 7:20 p.m.

A small tragedy ensued after I poured myself about a dozen ounces of Domaine d'Or red wine (12% alcohol) into a glass for my next show. As I withdrew the four-litre box of wine from overtop my glass, the spout of the box caught on the rim of the glass and nearly tipped the entire thing over ─ at first I thought that was exactly what was happening. However, the squat tumbler ─ a Bacardi glass that I estimate holds about a dozen ounces when filled ─ might have been bottom-heavy enough not to tip over, so I lost maybe an ounce or a bit more.

My computer keyboard and light tan floor carpet got a wee drenching.

Anyway, I tuned in Vegas ─ episode two ("Money Plays") of the first and only season. My source was at GOOJARA.to.

How the hell can an exceptional show like this fail to catch on, but some lame-ass like Psych catches the attention of the viewing American public? Something ain't right.

The Vegas episode was done by maybe 9:10 p.m.

I guess something is amiss with Bev. She normally never emerges from the bedroom until into the noon hour at earliest, as a rule. Today she didn't do so until after I had finished my nap. Then maybe a couple hours at most later, she returned to the bedroom, having forsaken the T.V., even turning it off (very rare for her).

She emerged again well after 4 p.m. and started watching T.V. downstairs again ... with her white wine; but by the time Vegas was done, the T.V. was again off and she was back in the bedroom she shares with my brother ─ who was still not home from wherever he had bused in the earliest afternoon to social drink.

He didn't get home until 9:28 p.m. After he visited his bedroom and then got an accounting from me on Bev's haphazard appearance from the bedroom today, he decided that it was worth bothering her just to ensure she had not passed away.

She is quite sickly, COPD being just one of her issues at 60 years of age.

I am tempted to introduce my brother to the superb T.V. series Friday Night Lights, but it would be wasted on him due to how much drinking he has done since he has been away, and which he is now re-engaging.

I am also sorely tempted to do some further drinking though, but maybe it is best to just wrap up whatever needs finishing here on the various browsers, their tabs, and whatever else I have open on my computer. Then I can get to bed. My wife may or may not get home soon ─ I think she may have a full workday tomorrow, but I am not fully certain. If she does not, she may be late showing up.

Alway an Eventual Miss

As usual I have no certain recollection of my bed time last evening, but I think it may have been after 11:30 p.m. Whatever the case, I intended a bath first thing this morning and no backyard tool shed exercising, so I set my cellphone alarm for 6:30 a.m. ─ a half hour later than usual.

I believe that the sound of one or more crows led me to realize that dawn had arrived at some earlier point this morning. I rose to use the toilet, and only at returning to my bedroom did I check the time ─ it was only something like 5:38 a.m.

I returned to bed because I felt inadequately recovered from last evening's bit of drinking and the late hour. Notwithstanding, I am unsure now if I was up again just before 6 a.m., or if it was later but still well ahead of my 6:30 a.m. alarm. I am also unsure if I succeeded in achieving another short bout of sleep.

What matters is that I did have my early bath. When I had been up earlier and used the toilet, I first turned on my computer, remembering that it had been set to run a deep registry scan and repair at startup, so I was not tempted to delay my bath by spending any time here at my bedside computer as likely otherwise would have happened.

I knew the scan would be very long, but I don't believe that I recalled that it would exceed three hours, for it did. Thus, my hour-long stay in the bathroom when I had my bath was still an insufficient passage of time for me to bide any in occupation on my computer, so I hobbled downstairs and briefly used my laptop, and then I turned on the T.V. and checked a few things on the R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box.

I also gathered together a breakfast that I indulged in.

It was a little after 8 a.m. when I hobbled back upstairs to my bedroom, but the scan was still going on, so I opted to return to bed fully clothed and bide time until I heard my younger brother emerge from his bedroom ─ which he did soon enough. By then, though, the scan was still running, and I saw no purpose in leaving my bed because I had no interest in waiting out my brother's essential early morning news shows programming as would happen if I joined him before at least 9:10 a.m.

My awareness lapsed briefly, and a time check revealed that it was around 9 a.m. and I had weak recollection of a dream, so I realized that I must have succumbed to a bit of sleep. I rose, and still the scan claimed to have another quarter hour or so to run, so I joined my brother.

Around 9:15 a.m. he turned the T.V. over to me, so I switched over to the Android TV Box that I had not turned off, for I had already lined up something for us to watch. At over 1¼ hours (1:17:45), it had been streamed yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: Professor Pranked by the CBC! My stream featuring academic, Jim McMurtry.

My brother returned to his bedroom following the episode, and I was back to bed for my nap just ahead of 12:30 p.m.

The day has had a little sunshine, but mostly there have been masses of cloud, with quite a chilly strong breeze that forced me to close my bedroom window. Instead I am going to start watching my usual three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer and having a few drinks, and I will finish and publish this post in the latter evening.

Yes, it was dramatically interesting enough, and quite late into the episode my eyes even burned with some emotion when June and Nick kissed long and sincerely hard ─ but that was due to transference, for I miss having that intimacy with my wife. I don't know how long this part of our marriage has been over, but it definitely exceeds 13 years. So I cannot say that The Handmaid's Tale evoked the response ─ remembrance of my own situation did. I just prefer not dwelling on it.

The show was done by 7:34 p.m., and it was evident that my brother had only recently gotten home from wherever he had bused in the early afternoon to social drink.

I have some inclination to pay a visit overnight to the elementary school playground that is maybe a round trip hobble of ¾ of a mile, but that will entail rising at 3 a.m. Thus, if I am serious about this, I cannot sit up anything like late this evening.

My third and final show was accompanied with a glass of at least a dozen ounces of Domaine d'Or red wine (12% alcohol). The show was The Guardian ─ episode 18 ("My Aim Is True") of season two. My selected source was at M4uFree.cx for the second time this evening.

I am unsure of where they are going with the brain injured Lulu ("Louise") and Nick Fallin angle ─ why is she suddenly rather distancing herself from deeper involvement with him since her awakening after the car mishap?

A lot going on in this episode! I referred to the IMDb icon photos of the cast in this episode, and no one is visually familiar. Since I do not remember the various characters' names, I cannot identify who was who in the darned episode ─ it is now 23 years later, and the cast members have aged considerably, so the guest actors playing the characters are no longer recognizable from those tiny headshots.

We need broader episode write-ups.

But whatever, the episode was done by 8:44 p.m.

I still must brush my teeth before going to bed. I am unsure earlier, but I almost thought that it might have been lightly raining when I peered through the screen of the slightly open bathroom window as I passed water. Loving Friday Night Lights

Though I am fuzzy now on when I got to bed last evening ─ 10 p.m.? 10:30 p.m.? ─ my cellphone alarm was set for 3 a.m. to get me up so I could make the two-mile round trip hobble to my financial institution's nearest ATM so I could make a cash deposit.

I lost my resolve to deposit $500, and settled instead upon $300. Apart form the possibility of getting robbed, there was always the chance that the ATM might malfunction and fail to record the transaction after swallowing the envelope containing the cash; or the wrong amount might get recorded. There is even the chance that $500 in cash might be too tempting for someone along the chain of people who would be handling the envelope after I submitted it into the ATM.

I believe that it was late last afternoon that I mentioned first hearing the patter of some rain outside my open bedroom window. Well, that sound was to recur a number of times thereafter, and so were various claps of thunder.

When I rose at 3 a.m., I noticed that a light was on behind my wife's closed bedroom door. I never heard her come home last night after I went to bed, so I cannot estimate when that was. My four-litre wine box was still in my bedroom, so she had not sneaked in and appropriated it.

There was still the sound of some rain, so I knew I was not going to be having a dry environment out there. But at least it would probably keep a lot of the usual nightlife off the streets.

I think I managed to be on my way by 3:30 a.m.

There were never to be any issues during my venture; and despite occasional rain, it was never threatening insofar as concerns getting my clothes wet.

On the return hobble, I even stopped in at the elementary school playground for the half dozen sets of pull-ups and chin-ups that I would not be having in our backyard tool shed. The numbers were pretty much the same, though: two repetitions in the first set of pull-ups, and a single repetition in the next pull-up set, and also the two sets of chin-ups, and even the two sets of pull-ups on a pair of stationary rings.

I had taken off my jacket for the exercises, but I completely forgot to weigh myself once I was back home to see what body weight I was dealing with. By the time I remembered, I already had my boots and socks off here in my bedroom where I keep this bedside computer, so I let the weigh-in slide.

My wife's bedroom light was off by this time, incidentally. Whether she had fallen asleep with it on earlier is certainly a possibility.

I never returned to bed until maybe 6:10 a.m., if not later; and I set my cellphone alarm for 8 a.m. to ensure that I never overslept and cut short any morning T.V. time with my younger brother ─ who was already downstairs watching T.V. when I rose at 8 a.m., so I don't know when he emerged from his bedroom.

I waited until at least 9:10 a.m. before joining my brother, and by then he was quite quick to turn the T.V. over to me so that I could commence operation of an Android TV Box.

I started off with the R69 Plus Android 14 and tuned in the video I wrote of yesterday that I had mistakenly cancelled out of at around the 80-minute mark because I believed it was finished, not realizing that there was still a half hour to go: You Need Salt, Fat and Meat. Then I tuned in a 23-minute (22:58) video uploaded earlier today to YouTube's Moose on the Loose channel: You Won’t Believe What the CBC Was Caught Doing...

Obviously the two YouTube videos were Canadian politics related.

Then I switched over to the T95Q Android 9 TV Box with the USB drive or stick inserted and we finished watching the excellent family movie we had cut from yesterday ─ 2011's We Bought A Zoo.

I had originally downloaded the movie from BitChute, but the channel that had provided it was forced to remove it. However, I see that it can still be watched at OK.ru here, if you can stand the Arabic or Turkish (or whatever they are) subtitles. It also seems available at Goojara.to and 1Moviesz.to, if you care to search it out.

My brother returned to his bedroom for further bed rest following the movie, and I was to bed for a nap ─ probably no later than 12:10 p.m.

My wife was not to emerge from her bedroom until two or three minutes before 2:30 p.m. this heavily overcast day. I don't know if we've had further light rain since the morning, but it certainly seems possible at any time.

This is a bath day for me, but at present it is 4:15 p.m. and I do not care to take over the bathroom for the hour that the full chore involves from the time I set foot into the bathroom up until I leave it again, for my wife is still home. I know that she has today off work, and tomorrow as well, so she will be taking off at some point today to spend her free time elsewhere.

I may as well take my blogging break now.

My wife cooked a very delicious beef stir-fry ─ I don't know how she can afford the beef. I sure can't ─ not in the store I usually shop at.

Then at 5:12 p.m., she was out the front door, on her way to ... wherever. Last week she returned on Thursday, but that was unusual. Usually she does not show up again until Friday.

But it was too late for me to bother with a bath. If I wanted to get in my usual three T.V. shows with a little drinking and expect to be to bed before the evening advanced into the a.m., I would have to forsake the scheduled bath. Tomorrow will do.

And so I tuned in The Rookie and was soon into a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) ─ I watched episode eight ("Grand Theft Aircraft") of season eight. My source was at TVSeries.video.

Not only was this one exciting almost throughout, but it was sweetly touching near the conclusion. Good stuff. And it was done by 6:17 p.m.

I was a mere few minutes into my next show, Doom Patrol ─ episode four ("Undead Patrol") of season three ─ when my computer froze with one of those damned blue screens. This one claimed that it was gathering information and was at 40%, and would restart when it was done. But I waited, and waited, and nothing changed. Finally I got pissed off and forced it to shut down.

After a short pause, I restarted it again, then brought up the Brave browser I had been using for the video ... and my computer crashed again, but with a different error message, and this time was at 0% as it supposedly gathered the required information.

After possibly 10 minutes with no change ─ except like before, my computer was running in overdrive ─ I forced another shutoff.

This time, though, I could not get it restarted without a number of attempts, but at last succeeded. I sought to run a CHKDSK to check the registry, but was told that it was NTSF and some mumbo-jumbo about another process using the partition or some such. All I could do was agree to have the scan start the next time my computer restarted.

Fortunately, though, I was able to watch the video, but I opted to used a GOOJARA.to source instead of the M4uFree.cx source where my computer first crashed.

Of course, I had another can of beer during the show, which ended at 8:19 p.m. If you note, that's over two hours after my first show ended ─ I lost a lot of bloody time with this!

My brother had gotten back home during all of that fuss during the two episodes, for he had bused away in the early afternoon to go social drinking.

I wouldn't be having all of this damned computer trouble if I could only use my own damned T.V. downstairs in the living room, but Mark's girlfriend Bev watches it from the time she gets up in the early afternoon until she goes to bed at night. I am relegated to virtually locking myself up in my wee bedroom here in my supposed own home, trying to find entertainment here on my faulty old computer.

You know, thanks God, for just watching me rot away and never lifting a finger to help or encourage, no matter how much I have pleaded over these recent years. And now I am a pathetic cripple who cannot even go for the long walks that at least used to allow me some adventure and exercise.

My final show was an adrenaline boost because I love it so much, and did not realize it was next when I needed something like it so very much.

I am speaking of Friday Night Lights ─ and episode 19 (Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes) of the first season. I chose Goojara-Official.co.za as a safe source not to cause my computer to spasm out ... and I was right, it seemed.

I poured a dozen or so ounces of Domaine d'Or red wine (12% alcohol) into a glass, and the alcohol truly enhanced the emotional reaction of what I was to watch ─ my eyes not only burned, but at least twice I am sure I cried aloud to my thus far seemingly deaf Creator God.

I am so thankful that the seasons in this series are so exceptionally long, for the series will last me a long, long time ─ I cannot imagine finding its equal.

Anyway, this episode was done by 9:40 p.m.

I am considering having my bath right after I rise tomorrow morning instead of concerning myself with the usual morning tool shed exercise session. Bathing then will free me up in the afternoon to have my usual session of exercise in my wife's vacant bedroom. As well, it will allow me to rise after 6 a.m. ─ maybe I'll 'splurge' and shoot for 6:30 a.m., and truly sleep in.

So I am shutting down now at 11:06 p.m.

Never a Day Off

If recollection is true, I was to bed last evening by 10 p.m. at latest, and only rose once overnight (nigh 3:30 a.m.) for urinary relief. Yet when my 6 a.m. cellphone alarm sounded, I could easily have remained in bed and likely managed some further sleep.

How I wish I could walk naturally again, and get back into that activity! Aww, Lord ─ why cannot I live far, far from here, debt-free and in charge of my life?

My morning was to be little different than any other of late, although it was around or even after 7:50 a.m. before I was out to the backyard tool shed for my exercise session there. A mere two pull-ups in the first set, and just one repetition in each of the five other sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, followed by the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

Back in the house I dished up what would be my day's first of only two meals, and I took that upstairs to my bedroom to eat here at my bedside computer. I never managed to empty any of the containers of Thai restaurant fare that my wife has been adding so regularly to the fridge, yet I still have an ugly midsection ─ by "midsection", I of course mean the entire band around that part of the anatomy, and which includes the area above the hips and even across the lower back.

My wife had a full workday again today at the restaurant, though she did not emerge from her bedroom until around 9:45 a.m. at earliest; and after she had finished all of her readying and had come downstairs to the kitchen area to gather up whatever else she would be taking with her, she apparently examined the contents of the fridge and felt it needful to draw my attention to there being plenty of food in there needing eating.

Don't I already know it!

It was nearly 10:10 a.m. when she left on her fairly long, sunny drive. Incidentally, I do not recall hearing her arrive home last evening after I had gone to bed.

My younger brother had emerged from his bedroom by 8:15 - 8:20 a.m. to watch his morning news shows and drink some instant coffee. I didn't get around to joining him until 9:15 a.m. just as a commercial break began, so he was ready to have me put one of our Android TV Boxes to work.

Tomorrow morning I will have to return to the video and finish where we left off.

Having left the video prematurely, there was more time remaining to the morning than I had anticipated, so I accessed the USB drive or stick inserted into our T95Q Android 9 TV Box and we got nicely into a movie that we had to anon break from so that my brother could get back to his bedroom for further bed rest. I expect it is likely that we will also be returning to the movie tomorrow morning.

I was surprised with my midday nap ─ I was in bed well under an hour. But it had to do.

My youngest stepson reported in to the office today instead of working from home, so that fit in nicely with my plans to launder ─ the laundry facilities are by his den / bedroom / work area.

The afternoon began lightly clouding up. I believe I read that we should be having some rain in two or three days, so sunning is out. I have yet to get in this year's first session.

With my wife away working, I had my usual mid-afternoon light exercise session in her bedroom ─ it takes a half hour. And I have since had my day's second and final meal.

I was going to order (online) participation in the latest VGH + Hometown Heroes Lottery, but I realized that doing so would leave my account with too little to cover Thursday's scheduled fortnightly mortgage payment. I have the cash on hand, so I am planning on rising overnight at 3 a.m. and making the two-mile round trip hobble to do a deposit of $500. I believe Thursday is the deadline for inclusion in the first early bird draw, so I have to make the deposit either tonight or else tomorrow night.

So with the intention of seeking my bed earlier than usual, I am going to break from this post here and start watching my T.V. shows while unwinding with a little drink, and I will finalize and publish the post well into the evening.

I recognize the very likely possibility that the introduction and normalizing of the concept that Man-made synthetic humans is behind T.V. shows and movies like this, but it still fascinates me. Being as lonely for intimacy and as socially isolated as I am, I am intrigued and even allured at the fantasy of having a devoted 'female' companion such that I have been unable to align with in real life.

People need this ─ enduring devotion from those we need so desperately in our lives, but who are unable or unwilling to return what we ourselves try and even crave to give to them.

Enough ─ I know that I am likely a lost soul and cause, and this is why God leaves me to decay and rot in every respect without supplying my only means of getting free of my bondage to the mire that is my life.

Right now it is 9:26 p.m., so I am going to start finishing up everything I need to on this computer and get to bed ─ as much before 10 p.m. as possible. My wife is not yet home ─ she usually has Wednesdays off work, I believe.

If she needs to access my four-litre box of red wine, she can sneak it out of my bedroom. I am smothering my cellphone so that I do not need to hear rings or texts from her or anyone else.

The devil did indeed put my idle fingers to work last evening, and all it took was having my infernal youngest stepson take occupation of the bathroom before I was able to have a final use of it and get to bed.

My wife had even gotten home.

Sure, it's my moral weakness at full fault, but the last thing I need in my state are impediments such as this.

I have to live free of everyone ─ I cannot have my life limited and adversely influenced as it is here. I need financial independence to successfully achieve this freedom, however, and my time seems about run out.

I can't recall if it was around 1:30 a.m. that I got to bed last night, or more like 2:30 a.m. There seemed no sense in setting my cellphone alarm for 6 a.m., but on the chance that I might somehow salvage my morning and still manage to have my early backyard tool shed exercise session, I set the alarm for 7 a.m.

I got to sleep. And then eventually I noticed that it was fairly light outside, so I checked the time ─ it was something like 5:52 a.m. For an instant I nearly sought a return to sleep, but it struck me that I did not feel notably worse than I usually do when I get up at 6 a.m., so I decided that I would seize the opportunity.

I even watered the front yard garden areas, a half hour chore, before having my mug of instant coffee with which to wash down an aspirin.

Then I went out and had to tool shed exercise, managing to open with two pull-ups in the first set; but the other five sets of pull-ups and chin-ups only resulted in a single repetition in each. Then I tackled the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

Back in the house, I dished up my day's first meal ─ more than I wanted, but my wife is accumulating so much fare that she has brought home from the Thai restaurant where she works part-time that I felt honour-bound to try and reduce what's there ─ no one else seems willing or interested.

I ate the meal upstairs here at my bedside computer; and then just after 9 a.m. I hobbled back downstairs and claimed the T.V., since my younger brother had failed to do so by that hour.

He did emerge from his bedroom around 9:10 a.m., perhaps, but it was too late for him to watch any of his usual news programme propaganda. Then we watched Riverdale. I meant for us to watch episode 18 ("Chapter Ninety-Four: Next to Normal") of season five, but it proved to be one of the musical episodes which ─ as far as we are concerned ─ completely destroys the credibility of the series. So I instead tuned in episode 19 ("Chapter Ninety-Five: Riverdale: RIP (?)"), only now realizing that it was the season five finale episode.

When that show was over, I resorted to our T95Q Android 9 TV Box and the USB drive or stick inserted into it, and we watched a 2006 documentary titled Who Killed Dr Bogle and Mrs Chandler?

I have no idea now what my download source was, unfortunately. I took no note.

My brother thereafter returned to his bedroom for further bed rest, and I doubt I was seeking my nap too much into the noon hour.

My wife had another full workday today, emerging from her bedroom nigh 9:45 a.m., but managing a fast shower and getting on her way before 10:10 a.m., I would say.

The day has been primarily sunny, but I still have yet to seek my first sunning session of the year. I think by now I would have already been sunning if only Bev was not parked downstairs on the chesterfield monitoring the entire stairway to the bedrooms, as well as the small hallway right up to the bathroom door at the end of the hallway.

If only there was some other access to the backyard from up here!

Right now it is 4:11 p.m. and I am going to take my blogging break. I ate such a large first meal today that I have no true interest in my second and final meal, but I will gather up something of scant consequence to my system.

I also want to watch some T.V. shows here on my bedside computer so I can do a little drinking before bedtime, but I will complete this post and then publish it in the latter evening.

Intriguing ─ especially the arm-wrestling scene near the episode's end. And that end came at 6:20 p.m.

It was definitely good, but not the sort of fodder I find inspirational. I had a second can of beer during the show, which was over by 7:22 p.m.

The show I decided to make my final this evening was Teen Wolf ─ episode two ("Second Chance at First Line") of the first season. My source was again at M4uFree.cx. The video was a bit 'jumpy', but it played through.

I remember saying in a previous post how much I unexpectedly enjoyed the pilot episode, and I find my enthusiasm carrying through. The acting is really good, and the characters interesting and pretty much likeable.

I had no idea until this episode that the handsome and mysterious senior figure who kept appearing with glowering warnings to the two main teen characters was actually the same ─ but younger actor (Tyler Hoechlin) ─ who later played Superman in Superman & Lois. In Teen Wolf thus far, the actor hadn't muscled up quite as much. Or else they're faking his musculature a lot as Superman.

I poured myself a dozen (minimum) ounces of Domaine d'Or red wine (12% alcohol) with which to enjoy the show, but in doing so I had to empty the last of what remained in the four-litre box in my wife's bedroom, and I broached one of the two fresh boxes in my own bedroom. I probably only needed about two ounces.

The episode was done by 8:38 p.m., and my glass of wine before that (despite a little moderation).

Right now it is 9:08 p.m. and I am going to commence finishing up whatever I need completing as I close browsers and their tabs on my computer, for I would like to be to bed before my wife is home from work. If she needs wine, she can sneak into my bedroom after she is home.

Further Spousal Financial Betrayal

It was barely past 10:30 p.m. when I got to bed last evening, but a few minutes later my cellphone rang ─ my wife, asking if I was asleep yet.

She asked me to e-Transfer $500 to her, and without thinking to deny her ─ even though it sounded like she might be drinking ─ I stupidly went ahead and did the transfer. She had said that she would be home soon and pay me back.

Once the deed was done, leaving me barely enough to handle the fortnightly mortgage payment due to be debited this coming Thursday, I was quite upset with her and myself as I realized the enormity of this action. It was difficult relaxing enough to get to sleep.

My cellphone alarm was set for 6 a.m. because I intended some shopping at No Frills about a half mile from here ─ it opens at 8 a.m. Nevertheless, after I got to sleep, once overnight I was to find myself unpleasantly awake, and then I heard the front door open and close. I figured that it was my youngest stepson who tends to sit up all night long on weekends; but I also knew my wife was a candidate, coming home late if she had been partying.

Then the hallway light outside my bedroom door came on, and I heard her voice as she yammered at her son.

So I checked the time ─ it was something like 2:40 a.m., if I am remembering correctly. She clearly had been partying after work, and my big fear was that she had been to the casino nearby where she works.

She usually has a full workday on Sundays at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, and today was to be no different, so she seemed to get to her bedroom smartly enough and had the hallway light turned off.

I did find some further sleep, but when my cellphone alarm sounded at 6 a.m. I did not feel at all capable of later getting out on that miserable hobble to the grocery store; I felt pretty rough, in truth.

But an aspirin and a mug of instant coffee helped with my recovery; and with less than 10 minutes to go ere 8 a.m., I sallied forth into a bright morning. Thankfully it was at least very cool.

I managed to spend just under $35, but I still had quite a load to hobble slowly home with.

My younger brother had still not emerged from his bedroom by the time I was back. I had even put away my purchases, changed clothes, and was involved here at my bedside computer before he emerged no earlier than 8:45 a.m., and maybe more like 8:50 a.m.; the T.V. was quickly enough turned on.

I waited till just after 9 a.m. before joining him, and less than 10 minutes later was invited to tune in something via our Android TV Boxes. So I started up the R69 Plus Android 14.

My first choice topped an hour, and had been streamed yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: BC Conservative Debate - Who's the Real Conservative?

I followed that with something new, although we have seen all of the movies in the franchise. This time it was the T.V. series The Purge and its premiere episode ("What Is America?"). I liked it!

Then switching over to the T95Q Android 9 TV Box and the USB drive or stick inserted into it, I tuned in the second half or so of the movie we had begun ... was it yesterday? Whatever the case, the awful movie was uploaded December 12, 2019, to YouTube's Disaster Zone Movies channel: Wake The Dead | Full Slasher Horror | Horror Central.

"Horror Central" used to be the channel name.

The movie was badly acted, poorly written, and the special effects absolutely amateurish. In fact, the premise of the movie was implausible, as was the path of resolution taken by the gathered family in the house. Little was properly explained.

I took a toilet break late into the movie and somehow missed the fate of the lead blonde and why her husband and the occult-savvy red-headed sister were the primary protagonists ─ what happened to the blonde? I have no idea. I guess the advice here is not to take a bathroom break late into the ill-explained movie.

Wikipedia doesn't have a listing for it, nor are there any for the three main actors mentioned in the YouTube description ─ that is generally a reliable indicator on the quality of a film and its actors.

IMDb here has more information on the 2017 movie than does YouTube, and has a 3.2 rating out of a possible 10 ─ hardly many raves, I expect.

It was a flop.

My brother returned to his bedroom thereafter, and I was back to bed for a nap in the first half of the noon hour.

As for my wife today, she emerged from her bedroom around 9:35 - 9:40 a.m. to shower, and was away on her rather long drive about a half hour later. Apart from a general 'good morning' to my brother and I when she came down the stairs, and then a 'bye' as she left, I had no communication with her.

Such is how it goes, particularly when my wife knows she has done a major financial wrong.

With her away, into the mid-afternoon I had a session of light exercise in her vacant bedroom. Right now it is 4:42 p.m., so I am going to have my day's second and final meal and then possibly watch three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer whilst enjoying a little drinking.

My first show, I unenthusiastically discovered, was to be Smash ─ episode 10 ("Understudy") of the first season. My source was at M4uHDTV.tv.

Sure, I always enjoy the drama, especially after having gotten so familiar with the regular characters; but it is still somewhat tepid fare. And this episode never even had any musical numbers of appeal to me. Even so, the two lead actresses (Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty) still smack me with the gorgeousness of their wonderfully muscled legs, so that is one sure attraction.

I drank a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) during the episode (which was finished by 6:19 p.m.).

At latest, my next show was done by 7:34 p.m. ─ I neglected to immediately take note. The show was Profiler ─ episode nine ("The Sorcerer's Apprentice") of season one. My source was at Goojara-Official.co.za ─ new to me!

Rather oddly, even though the episode topped 47 minutes, it ended in total abruptness without a closing credit of any kind. That's a long show!

I very much enjoyed it, improbable as it was. And so went a second can of beer.

I had originally thought to maybe limit myself to the two shows and two beers, but it was far too early for bedtime.

So I searched and found a source for the proper episode two of The Crow: Stairway to Heaven. But I could not find one. Yes, approximately a dozen different sources list supposed episode two ("Souled Out"), but upon playing it I immediately recognize that it is the story about the gang of rave home invaders that was the storyline of episode four ("Like It's 1999").

My solution was finally given a resolution at the BitChute WizardChrisGaylord channel where the dual pairing of episodes one and two were published May 31, 2022: The CROW (Stairway to Heaven) - Ep. 01-02 - The Soul Can't Rest and Souled Out.

It was an easy matter to just jump ahead about 40 minutes and watch from there. Just know that there are no episode one closing credits, nor episode two opening credits ─ the transition from the first to the second episode is seamless. One must just understand that it occurs.

I watched the episode with a dozen or so ounces of Domaine d'Or red wine (12% alcohol) from the near-depleted four-litre box in my wife's bedroom. It is my original wine box. I have two new ones in my bedroom that are unbroached, but there is no sense having two exposed to deterioration at the same time. Besides, she should be sufficiently weary after her foolery last night that sitting up at all late this evening doing any drinking after she gets home is not paramount, for Mondays again are usually another full workday.

I was done with the episode by 9:18 p.m., incidentally.

Right now it is 9:54 p.m. and I want to smartly finish everything I have open on this computer and get to bed before my wife is home, but her confounding son has usurped the damned bathroom almost as if he senses how best to thwart my minutest needs and movements here at home ─ his older brother worked in tandem when he lived here, but he moved to an apartment with his girlfriend over 14 months ago.

At least I will close today's post, but I am of a wayward mind and should not have this extra time on my hands, for they too easily a workshop of the devil's. Yet I durst not go to bed without urinary relief, alas.

A Sharper Waking

That second glass of maybe 12 ounces of wine last evening ─ plus sitting up until midnight ─ made getting up this morning at 6 a.m. too challenging. The prospect of getting out to the backyard tool shed was too formidable to countenace. Feeling as wasted as I did was punishment enough ─ trying to strenuously exercise in that condition at my age of 76 would have been folly, so ultimately I just returned to bed. I don't remember the exact time, but it was likely around 7 a.m.

Incidentally, when my wife got home last evening, she approached me coyly and gave me $90, asking that I make an online e-Transfer to her of $100 for some purpose she wanted to deal with before her bedtime.

Of course I complied.

Anyway, getting back to my morning, it never began, I suppose, until I rose again around 8:30 a.m. My younger brother had emerged from his bedroom very soon after 8 a.m. (I had heard him, for I was not asleep at the time).

I joined him just past 9 a.m. for our morning T.V. together, but had to wait almost 10 minutes before he issued his invitation to me to take over the T.V. with one of our Android TV Boxes.

I am unsure if we will watch the remainder of the movie ─ I will ask him when next we get around to taking the time, for I won't mind if he has had enough of it.

By the way, my wife had a full workday today at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, and she actually emerged from her bedroom around 9:20 - 9:25 a.m. for her shower, and she was away on her fairly long drive by 9:50 - 9:55 a.m.

As for my day, it is unlikely that I will be exercising at all. I had a helpful midday nap, but this is a bath day, and that chore that involves shaving takes about an hour from the time I enter the bathroom until I exit the room when I am done.

And now it is 5:14 p.m. and I am recently done with that bath.

I had thought that I might phone my old late friend William's ladyfriend Sandy ─ it's been over a year since we talked, I am quite sure. But the afternoon ran away on me, as usual ─ even though I never set foot outside of the house.

I have only consumed two coffees today ─ not one item of food. When I was stripped down for that bath, I weighed around 182 pounds. There is just too much flab caking my belly and around my midsection. But being crippled and unable to take long walks, I am extremely limited at my ability to burn away calories.

Before I have my day's only meal, I want to have a Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) and watch a T.V. show here on my bedside computer.

I watched a very welcome episode of Van Helsing ─ episode eight ("The Prism") of season four. My source was at M4uFree.cx.

As intimated, I was quite involved in the episode, even though I am sure that I watched it ─ possibly back in 2019 ─ one evening drunk with my brother.

This time I had difficulty making that first can of beer last, since I had drunk no fluids since my hour in the bathroom. And with a stomach entirely empty of food, yes, withstanding the urge to guzzle the beer took restraint.

But I do not enjoy these beers when I drink after eating a meal, so I chose to withhold eating and watch yet another show so that I can certainly enjoy a second beer. By the way, Van Helsing was done by 6:21 p.m.

I was not thrilled that the next show on my roster's rotation was Madam Secretary ─ episode 16 ("Tamerlane") of season one. My source was again at M4uFree.cx.

Yes, I did thoroughly enjoy the episode, but it's just not my flavour of entertainment. I despise government and politics. However, I despise much about police hierarchy and management of health services and so much more, but I can still enjoy the fiction of what should be, and not what really is going on, in our countries and the world.

Again, it was somewhat difficult limiting myself to that second can of beer. The episode itself was done by 7:25 p.m., at which point I was suitably hungry.

And so I fed. And when done, I poured myself 12 ounces of Domaine d'Or red wine (12% alcohol) from the soon-to-be-depleted four-litre box in my wife's bedroom, then I tuned in Betrayal ─ episode 12 ("Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth...") of the only season. My source was at TVSeries.video.

So is beautiful Sara dead now? She took two slugs to her abdomen and was left lying in a pool of her blood. But I will have to see that she's been killed off to believe it ─ I don't find any point in the producers and writers in doing such a thing now.

And who did it? We never got to see the shooter.

One more episode to go ─ everything has to come out there, if the series was planned to be one season.

I had some difficulty drinking my wine initially ─ it was as if my meal was upsetting my system. But I'm properly buzzed now. The show ended at 9:19 p.m., incidentally. I have no intention of repeating last evening's folly by drinking more just so I can cram in a sitcom, for I have early morning shopping plans and thus must be rising at 6 a.m. and feeling well.

Okay, right now it is 9:40 p.m. and I must brush my teeth, and then I will start finishing up whatever needs doing so here on my computer before I call it an evening and getting myself to bed.

Painfully Clear

I could have been to bed ahead of 10 p.m. last evening, but my youngest stepson had taken up occupation of the bathroom, thereby denying me relief ere getting to bed. He seemed to waste 15-20 minutes and then he had a shower.

I got so involved in wasting my own time waiting him out that it was 10:30 p.m. before I got to bed, so I think that I set my cellphone alarm for 3:30 a.m., still considering a visit to the elementary school playground overnight for some exercise.

Ultimately, though, I was to choose to stick with my usual regimen of rising at 6 a.m. because I was almost certain that my younger brother would be making a 'beer run' in the early afternoon, and I wanted inclusion ─ without a decent night's sleep, I mightn't feel able to refrain from a midday nap that would exclude me from the visit to the government liquor store two miles away.

I was to have no difficulty remaining in bed until 6 a.m. Sure, I was occasionally awake, but never uncomfortable, so obviously I needed the rest.

After rising at 6 a.m. I was to put in some work on our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box. Then after finishing drinking my mug of instant coffee, I visited the backyard tool shed for the usual half dozen sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, managing to open with two pull-ups in that first set ─ the other five sets were the usual single repetition; and of course I tackled the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

Once done, I watered the backyard garden plants.

And thereafter back in the house I forwent gathering up anything for a meal. I just spent time here at my bedside computer until 9 a.m. My brother had not yet emerged from his bedroom, so I hobbled back downstairs and took control of the T.V., taking it over with the Android TV Box and tuning in a 2½-hour (2:34:13) video published yesterday to Rumble's Tucker Carlson channel: Rep. I had already seen that Thomas Massie did not appear for the interview until after 40 minutes of Tucker's monologuing, so I let the video play from the start; and then after my brother joined me in a few minutes time, I advanced to the 40-or-so-minute mark, and carried on from there.

Originally I had planned to halt the video around 10 a.m. or even after the first hour of Thomas Massie and then watch the remainder of the video tomorrow. However, my brother was often absent as he fussed about with the laundry facilities, for Friday mornings tend to be his laundry day.

Thus, I just let the video keep playing, and we were never to watch anything else.

My brother returned to his bedroom ahead of 11:30 a.m., confirming that he intended the liquor store run.

I soon enough was to my own bed, just doing my best to rest deeply and not seek sleep. My wife rose for the day soon after I was back to bed.

My brother and I made the trip, and I bought two four-litre boxes of Domaine d'Or red wine for a total of $80.68. I still had 30 cans of beer in supply ─ it was only the wine that was of concern now that my wife seems to rely upon my supply when she's home, and not buying her own.

But that's okay ─ I don't mind.

My brother was only home a few minutes and then he left on foot for a bus to go social drinking this overcast day. I have had to close my bedroom window due to a chilly breeze making the room unpleasant.

I did have a light early afternoon meal that my wife dished out for me, incidentally, for she got involved in some cooking. Then very soon past 3 p.m. she left on her fairly long drive to work the latter part of the day at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.

She had said naught to me ere departing, but I decided to dare use of her vacant bedroom for some light exercise. I entered therein and shut the door, but there was no vitality within me; and even my light meal seemed to lay heavy within me, a burden unwelcome for any physical effort.

I surrendered to my lassitude and returned here to my own bedroom and my bedside computer. But quite quickly I became seized with a virtually overwhelming weariness such that I felt it needful to seek my bed ─ despite initially believing that I would indulge in some drinking and watch my usual three T.V. shows here on my computer, and thereafter truly go to bed properly.

And so I lay nearly helpless to this peculiar state that had overtaken me, even the earlier light meal feeling inimical to my system.

I sank into a torpor, and remained so for possibly at least 45 minutes, if not even an hour.

At last rallying, and faced with a Sabbath fast come dark that would be somewhat observed, I braved the hobble downstairs to the kitchen for some sustenance to tide me through the bulk of tomorrow.

I only meant the lightest of fare, but I discovered there to be a number of containers of partial dishes my wife had brought home from the restaurant primarily, and I felt compelled ─ obligated ─ to empty out a couple of these and thereby clear some space, for quite likely my wife will bring home even more tonight and thus if I do not perform my part today, then everything would be remaining in the fridge for another day.

I seem to be the only person in this household who will reliably consume rather than allow food to waste.

So I ate; and here it is now 4:56 p.m., and I am set to commence watching my shows and indulging in some drinking, thereby more effectively losing myself in the fiction of that which will be entertaining me the next several hours before a proper bedtime.

My first show was to be Legacies ─ episode seven ("It Will All Be Painfully Clear Soon Enough") of season two. My source was at 1Moviesz.to. I neglected to immediately take note of when it concluded, but I doubt that it was later than 6:06 p.m.

One can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) was adequate for the episode, which was quite good. I never tire of looking at the three main beautiful young actresses, either.

Next up was Harlots ─ episode six of season three. The write-up is false, however: "Jack is kidnapped and is being held by slavers bound for America and soon Harriet joins him and other kidnap victims."

Boxer Jack ─ a Black man ─ is indeed kidnapped in plain sight; but his lover ─ Black woman Harriet ─ has not joined him and whatever other kidnap victims there may be. No one yet knows where Jack is being held. This is clearly an overlap with what is likely to occur in the next episode.

This time my source was at this OK.ru link, and I had my second beer.

The episode was most dramatic indeed ─ so much intrigue and exciting drama! And it was all done by 7:17 p.m.

To my delight, The 100 was up next ─ episode six ("Nakara") of season seven. My source was at M4uFree.cx.

Damn, this was exciting! I had poured myself a dozen ─ the final draining ─ ounces from my four-litre box of Chile's Vivo Reserva white wine (12½% alcohol). It was done with only a few minutes to go, but I did not research that ─ I only knew that I needed more to drink.

So I paused the fabulous episode and visited my wife's bedroom where I availed myself of a dozen ounces of the four-litre box of Domaine d'Or (12% alcohol) that she had usurped from me some days ─ maybe even a week ─ ago.

I was to discover that I only had two or so minutes remaining in the episode, and it was done by 8:40 p.m.

Well, there was naught to do but watch something further ─ a sitcom, I decided.

And thus Victorious ─ episode 11 ("The Great Ping-Pong Scam") of the first season. My source was at 1Moviesz.to.

Oh, I grant that I was hardly exuberant that I would be expending so much wine on such a short show, but I didn't want to be sitting up all bloody evening. I still had to spend a quarter hour brushing my teeth.

But I do very much enjoy the series once I get into an episode, and this was early immediate. Young actress Victoria Justice is definitely growing on me, but it's Ariana Grande that has me hooked.

I wonder if the producers would have changed anything around if they knew how popular Ariana would become?

I do dig skinny-legged actress Victoria, and certainly muscular-legged Ariana, but I kind of like Elizabeth Gillies in her dark Jade persona.

The show was done by 9:30 p.m., and not much after my brother arrived home.

At this point it is 10 p.m., so I am going to publish this post and then brush my teeth so that I can get to bed ─ that'll take a quarter hour or more. My wife may have a full workday tomorrow ─ I don't know. If she does, then she should be home from any point now.

Wicked Women

It seems to me that I was to bed last evening by 10:30 p.m., with my cellphone alarm set for 3 a.m.

When that time rolled around, the thought of getting up to make the two-mile round trip hobble to my financial institution's nearest ATM to deposit my brother's monthly expenses reconciliation cheque (around $233) along with a Rogers Wireless refund cheque (around $45) was so appalling a prospect that I called it off and instead set the alarm for the usual 6 a.m. start to my day.

I returned to bed, but only for a minute or so. I had used the toilet and was in full recognition that I would hardly manage any beneficial sleep by 6 a.m. ─ I might even still be seeking sleep for the next hour; so why not just deal with the awful outing anyway? I would need to make the trip some night soon ─ it was inescapable, for I am too socially inhibited to make that pathetic hobbling spectacle of myself during the day or in fact anytime when most people are still ambient.

It sucks being crippled and with my psychology.

And so I rose; but I dallied sufficiently long here at my bedside computer that by the time I was set to leave, it was almost 4 a.m.

The night sky was overcast, and the temperature pleasantly mild. I never bothered taking my walking stick, for I am of a mind that it makes me too visible ─ at least it does to cops. I do not require their scrutiny, particularly when I have a dagger on my hip and a Titan baton flashlight / stun gun in my tote bag that I want them totally unaware of.

I was making poor time, of course; but I chose to stop in at the elementary school playground that used to be a target destination three or four nights a week when I was still able to walk properly. I wanted to see how I would fare at two sets of pull-ups, two sets of chin-ups, and two sets of pull-ups on a pair of stationary rings.

I did no better than I usually do out in the backyard tool shed most mornings; that is, although I opened with two pull-ups in the first set, I only managed a single repetition in the others.

I carried on with my hobble, fortunately never having any encounters or consequential coincidences with anyone at the ATM or along the way back home, and I had returned by around 5 a.m.

I was able to remember to weigh myself before I did anything else. When I had exercised at the school, I had removed my jacket. Doing so again for the sake of the analogue bathroom scales, I registered around 192 pounds and might have been encroaching 193 pounds.

No wonder pull-ups and chin-ups are so damned difficult for me.

I didn't get back to bed until 6 a.m., and to ensure that I did not somehow sleep into the second half of the morning, I set the cellphone alarm for 8:56 a.m.

I wasn't to need it. I mostly rested deeply, and heard my younger brother when he emerged from his bedroom to go downstairs for coffee and his morning T.V. news shows.

Around 8:20 a.m. I peeked at the time, but it felt so damned good just lying in bed that it could have taken me as much as 20 minutes before I finally forced myself up for the morning.

However, it was nigh 9:15 a.m. before I joined my brother, who was pretty quick to turn the T.V. over to me so that we could watch whatever I came up with via our Android TV Boxes.

Using the R69 Plus Android 14, I led things off with an 18-minute (18:42) video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: Why Shen Yun Drives China Crazy.

After that, I tuned in a 29-minute (28:59) video published earlier today to BitChute's Progressive Truth Seekers channel: Israel Is Running Australia - And No One Is Talking About It.

The video description is far too detailed for me to care to try and reproduce it here, so refer to the link. However, we likely never watched more than 10 minutes of the video before my brother expressed that it was too 'dry' for his liking.

So instead I tuned in Chicago P.D. ─ episode 20 ("Fight") of season 10. That was a good episode!

My prurient side then had me tune in a 4½-minute (4:37) video uploaded earlier today to YouTube's UPDATE WITH S.R channel: Women Vs Men MMAC Grappling Match | Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Mixed Wrestling | No Gi.

All of my adult life I have wanted to wrestle with an athletic girl, but it never happened. It is one of my many sincere regrets that I have never known that exquisite degree of intimate struggle with someone like the determined lass in the video.

Note that I had to turn the sound down so extremely low in order to extinguish the incredibly annoying commentary, that not hearing the other sounds in that venue did slightly detract from the match's full enjoyment.

The final item I tuned in required switching over to the T95Q Android 9 TV Box where the USB drive or stick is inserted, and we finished watching the second half or so of the old black & white movie we had to break from late yesterday morning ─ 1953's Wicked Woman.

It proved remarkably interesting! Actress Beverly Michaels had a very attractive face, but her body never held any appeal to me. She had no muscle, and even her thin arms looked like they were primarily skin and some fat. She also had poor posture, and walked in the most ungainly slow fashion, almost just langorously swinging her carriage along ─ but in slow motion. It looked more caricature than genuine.

I researched the movie beyond what Wikipedia had to say, and my suspicion was apparently founded that the Billie Nash character had actually submitted to sexual acts with her lecherous dwarf-like blackmailing neighbour Charlie as played by Percy Helton. The actor may have been a cute kid and maybe even a fairly good-looking young man, but he grew into a squeaky-voiced and rather obese, squat ogre. Thus when actor Richard Egan's character near the end of the movie saw her submitting to this freak's slobbering kisses of her neck and throat at the rooming house she was staying in, he was repelled by the vision and ended their relationship. Yet she was only submitting to the wretch so that he wouldn't squeal and betray what she and her married lover were planning to do behind his wife's back ─ i.e., selling the bar the wife had inherited from her father, taking the sales proceeds, and running off together to Mexico.

At least no one was murdered or even arrested ─ I was expecting the worst.

My brother returned to his bedroom for further bed rest once the movie was done. He later surprised me by mowing the lawns again ─ their first mowing this year wasn't quite a week ago, I believe. The day was a mix of mostly cloud and some sunshine.

I had my nap in the midday. And then because I had eaten nothing and had only had one coffee, I fixed up a meal for later that would be my day's only meal, and I also had my second coffee of the day to help ease me into an afternoon light exercise session in my wife's vacant bedroom.

I have since eaten that meal; and now it is 5:16 p.m., and time for me to commence watching my three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer while enjoying a little drinking. I will finish today's post in the latter evening.

I led things off with Superman & Lois ─ episode seven ("Forever and Always") of season three. My source was at TVSeries.video.

It was good; I even felt some emotion during a mother/daughter fireworks scene towards the episode's finish. And I was entirely caught off guard by who Natalie's new boyfriend's parents turned out to be.

Naturally, I had a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) with the show, and both were all done by 6:15 p.m.

When I opened my bedroom door, I couldn't believe how brilliant the hallway seemed, and then I realized that the light was on despite sunlight streaming in. Only one person tends to turn on the light as a habit ─ my wife. And sure enough, she was here in her bedroom ─ I was not expecting for her to be home until at least fairly early tomorrow afternoon, or at the end of that evening after she had finished working the latter part of that day as is her usual Friday schedule.

Anyway, this was not to deflect me from my shows, so next I tuned in The Expanse ─ episode seven ("The Seventh Man") of season two. My source was again at TVSeries.video.

This episode was also good, but it never affected me emotionally, despite another can of beer.

When it was done ─ surely well before 7:30 p.m. ─ my wife seemed to be at work in the kitchen.

I checked her bedroom to ensure that she had not failed to bring back what remained of the four-litre box of red wine that she had left here with around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday; and then I poured myself at least a dozen ounces of Vivo Reserva white wine from Chile that I have here in my bedroom, and I tuned in Stargirl ─ episode two ("Summer School: Chapter Two") of season two. Once more, my source was at TVSeries.video.

There was an early sequence in the episode where a beautiful woman with gorgeous legs was dancing about joyously in her kitchen (to Cindy Lauper's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun") while oddly breaking a couple of plates and a vase of flowers.

It turned out that it was evil teen Cindy's stepmother, who falsely believed that she was finally free of her virtual enslavement now that her evil husband Dragon King was dead. But Cindy ─ a.k.a. Shiv ─ later came home and inadvertently killed her stepmother, dashing my hopes of seeing a lot more of this actress.

Fortunately the actress ─ Lesa Wilson ─ has other work that I am anxious to get around to enjoying.

The episode was done by 8:14 p.m., and I was to see that my wife was still downstairs. Anon she was to realize that I was no longer shut up in my bedroom and called up to me if I was hungry? Alas, I had to decline, for I am not even remotely interested in eating a thing.

Right now it is 9:09 p.m. and I am about to brush my teeth, and then start finishing up anything left undone here on my computer so that I can work my way towards getting to bed sensibly early this evening.

If I succeed, maybe I will pay a visit to the elementary school playground again, should I feel 3 a.m. is attainable overnight for a cellphone alarm setting. We'll have to see when it is that I get to bed.

Although my bedtime was towards evening's end yesterday, I never heard my wife arrive home from her day's work. She tends to have Wednesdays off work, so likely she was doing some partying.

My 6 a.m. cellphone alarm got me up this morning, but it didn't waken me ─ I was already conscious. As I slow-boiled water for my morning's mug of instant coffee with which to wash down an aspirin, I spent a half hour watering the front yard garden areas.

I didn't realize that the day was going to be overcast.

I drank my coffee while working on our T95Q Android 9 TV Box. I had downloaded MX Player Pro a day or two ago, but I discovered that it requires logging in to ... well, I never paid much heed as to what, but I remember that Google was one of the possible destinations.

I don't use any app that requires signing in to something like Google or any of those mainstream platforms ─ Google, Amazon, Facebook, etc. So I uninstalled it. Instead, I downloaded MX Player. I guess I'll have to do the same on our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box.

As well on the T95Q, I downloaded and then uninstalled the Downloader app because after trying to use it, I discovered that nothing I tried would allow me to scroll down the app's 'browser' ─ and I tried the mini-keyboard as well as the remote. So I instead installed the Unlinked app to help with finding and sideloading other apps.

Before I liked, it was already 7:30 a.m. and I had done nothing here on my bedside computer, and I still had to have my morning backyard tool shed exercise session. That latter was to prove the unremarkably usual single repetition in all six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, followed by the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

My younger brother only emerged from his bedroom just in time to access the living room T.V. by the 9 a.m. deadline I keep in place for him, so I waited until at least 9:10 a.m. before hobbling downstairs to join him for our morning T.V. together.

We finished up with a movie, but likely didn't get half way through it, so its conclusion will likely be tomorrow.

The movie was aborted so that my brother could seek further bed rest. My wife was to emerge from her bedroom just before noon and wordlessly go downstairs, so I chose to seek my nap.

I never fared too well, and was up again ere 1:10 p.m., I believe.

My wife usually leaves in the late afternoon ─ sometimes the early evening ─ on her Wednesdays off work, for she has Thursday off as well. She leaves and doesn't return until at least Friday afternoon, for she only works the latter part of that day. The past couple of Wednesdays, though, she never showed up until after she was finished working Friday evening.

Two evenings ago she gave me $600 in cash and asked me to e-Transfer her the same amount so that she could send it to her mother in Thailand. Well, it seems my suspicion that parting with that much cash would surely be a strain for my wife was valid, for towards mid-afternoon today she coyly beseeched $100 from me as she readied to later go out.

What else can I do but comply?

Not much after that I heard her eldest son come into the house, greeting Bev who was seated on the chesterfield in the living room and watching T.V. The young man ─ he's 31, I believe ─ lives with his girlfriend, having moved out of here towards the end of February last year, roughly when Bev was getting moved in.

Anyway, this is the first time in months that I have seen the genial guy. I don't know the story of why he was here without his own transportation, but apparently his mother was going to possibly drive him to the SkyTrain and he would get home from there. But who knows, maybe she decided to drive him all the was to where he lives near Metrotown in Burnaby.

Whatever the case, they left here no later than 3:15 p.m.

Even if I was not uncertain that my wife might return after dropping him off at the SkyTrain (if she did only take him there), I had already resigned myself to not using her bedroom for exercising today.

At present it is 5:19 p.m. and it is time for my blogging break so that I can watch three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer while getting in a little drinking. I have already had my second and final meal of the day.

I for sure ─ following my midday nap ─ thought that I would be having myself an early evening because I want to visit my financial institution's nearest ATM about a mile off. That would best require me getting up at 3 a.m. ideally to ready and deal with the wretched two-mile round trip hobble before the world around here starts getting at all busy with earliest commuters.

But as too often happens, I 𝒻𝓊𝒸𝓀ℯ𝒹 away the afternoon.

Anyway, I tuned in something new. The T.V. series Vegas ─ pilot episode one of the only season. I had myself a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) during it, and the beer was finished well before the show was at 7:09 p.m.

I next watched The Gifted ─ episode 10 ("eneMy of My eneMy") of season two. My source was at SerialGo.watch (also new to me, I believe). Another beer accompanied it, of course. But I likely would have felt tearful emotion twice during the episode notwithstanding the extra alcohol.

The show was done 8:06 p.m.

Earlier I had considered just two shows and then getting to bed for the wee a.m. project. But I couldn't yet do it ─ i.e., get to bed. I needed a bit more alcoholic influence.

This equated to a dozen or so ounces of Chile's Vivo Reserva white wine (12½% alcohol).

Unfortunately, the singular extended South Asian family that moved into the cul-de-sac a few years ago and now occupies at least two houses and has children of pre- and barely-school age who are allowed to roar and scream amok and create all of the unbridled, abominable noise their hearts desire.

I had grown so enraged this evening by this aural intrusive abuse that I railed aloud helplessly against God and all who might be involved in my imprisonment in my life's situation ─ it seemed so unforgivably and diabolically malevolent.

Much of the show I tuned in had me distracted as much outrage renewed and my attention from the drama would become diverted.

It is stark that I am decaying. Not just my ageing, crippled physique; but my mind. And God cares nothing, which locks in the mental / moral decay all the more. Without sure hope, what is left?

The wine was devoted to The Alienist ─ episode five ("Belly of the Beast") of season two. My source was at M4uFree.cx.

It was an excellent episode, but I kept becoming withdrawn by my fury at the unbridled outburts outside, even though I had closed my window and the unworthy damned brats were abroad after sunset.

I am barely hanging on to what sanity is left me at this sorry stage of my dwindling life.

There is a loving God? I dare not air my accusations here ─ I have not the time.

The episode was done by 9:10 p.m., and at some point my brother had returned from wherever he had bused in the early afternoon to social drink, so now Bev was exulting in his presence and no longer watching T.V. alone as she drank her own white wine as is her practice or wont from maybe 4 p.m. until she retires at night.

I am going to forego the lengthy chore of brushing my teeth and get to bed by 10:30 p.m. at latest, if possible. Maybe I can still manage to rise at 3 a.m.

Right now it is 10:12 p.m.

I couldn't beat it last evening, and thus never made it to bed until well after 2:30 a.m., if I am remembering correctly. There was no sense in setting my cellphone alarm ─ it seemed clear that my morning backyard tool shed exercise session was off.

I do not intend to draw out my post today, but I will say that peculiarly, I may have mistakenly set my cellphone alarm last evening for 6 a.m. ere engaging the folly that was to keep me up so late overnight. Whatever the case, if it did sound, I was awake at the time and felt practically as well slept as if I had been to bed by 11 p.m.

I cannot actually remember, though, if my alarm did go off. It either did, forcing me to shut it off, and then I just lay there for eight or so minutes; or if I am mistaken about the alarm going off, I was awake enough that I just naturally checked the time around 6:08 a.m., and chose to rise then and salvage my morning.

Either way, I had what amounted to being a rather normal morning.

The exercise session a while later (after my usual aspirin and mug of instant coffee) was the usual single repetition in all six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, followed by the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

I was back in the house before 8 a.m., gathered together my day's first meal, and I may have finished eating it before my younger brother emerged from his bedroom for the morning.

I let him watch his news shows, and then joined him around 9:10 a.m. Not 10 minutes after that, my wife emerged from her bedroom. This was a full workday for her at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time. She had her shower and otherwise readied, and was away by 9:45 a.m. or so on her rather long, sunny drive.

This was exceptionally early for her ─ sometimes she does not emerge from her bedroom on her full workdays until 9:45 or even 9:50 a.m. if she had slept especially poorly.

Just before she did come forth from her bedroom, my brother had invited me to commence operation of our Android TV Boxes. I already had the R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box turned on, so I used it to fetch the two latest videos at YouTube's AnitaK channel:

My brother took his leave while the quarter-hour of closing credits were rolling, so he missed out on a sequence that probably was a herald to the sequel movie.

I finally got around to doing a factory reset of our old T95Q Android 9 TV Box. Since early this year it lost its ability to download any apks, and even a few that were already in it would not install. As well, I had disabled Google Play Store because I blamed it for likely deleting at least five sideloaded apps.

The reset took a surprisingly long time ─ I was starting to wonder if it was stalled.

But it finally finished. Sure, I lost all of the apps I had downloaded; but the point of the exercise was to see if this would heal whatever fault had been done to stop me downloading such apps.

And it worked! I used the Aptoide TV app to locate MX Player Pro and I had no trouble at all getting it installed ─ same for a Codecs package for it. Now I can build the Box back up, but this time I am not going to log into Google or activate Play Protect.

It was late into the noon hour when I sought my needed nap, and I was probably abed at least 1¼ hours ─ I did some obvious drooling for the first time in a long while.

This was a bath day, so there would be no afternoon exercising in my wife's vacant bedroom, nor would I be having this year's first sunning session.

I've had the bath, and quite a substantial second and final meal of my day. Right now it is 6:42 p.m., and it is time for a blogging break. I have a long (nearly 1⅓ hours) episode of Dark Mirror to watch, so it is going to require both cans of the Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) that I normally watch two different episodes of various T.V. series with.

I will finish up this post later in the evening.

Well, it turned out that Black Mirror episode five ("Demon 79") of season six was only 1¼ hours ─ but still much longer than any usual episode of other T.V. series. I would not have been able to make a single can of beer extend that long, so two it was.

The episode was rather sick, and rather a shame to have wasted two precious cans of beer upon.

My second and final show this evening was accompanied by a dozen or so ounces of Chile's Vivo Reserva white wine (12½% alcohol). And so I watched Psych ─ episode two ("Spellingg Bee") of the first season. My source was TVSeries.video.

I got such a kick out of the opening few minutes that I decided that I am decidedly a fan, but we shall see how things proceed. The lead actor makes his character seemed so natural at times.

The show was done by 9:47 p.m.

All else I have to offer is that the denouement of my recalcitrance as in the wee a.m. last night was so seductively and nearly swooningly mind-folding, that there is no question of addiction. I cannot continue on with the bleak, limited life I presently have that is keeping me in this absolute bondage to which I am in thrall, that I cannot possibly resist embracing the nearly supernatural surrender of my bleakness to this occasional obliteration of all that is my reality, ephemeral though that obliteration is.

Nothing in the material human experience can equal this temporary ascendance, so how can I long withstand the peculiar siren's summon? I spend my life primarily holed up in my wee bedroom isolated here with my bedside computer that as often as not is not even turned off while I sleep.

This is all I have ─ even here in my own heavily mortgaged, bank-owned home to which I have exclusive ownership title, sham though that is. The people own nothing that the government does not say we can falsely claim is ours, but I never knew this years ago when I threw in with my brother on this now lifelong mortgage servitude to the bank and the government.

Enough of this wailing. It is 10:24 p.m. and I still must brush my teeth, and then work towards getting to bed. I doubt that it will happen any earlier than 11:30 p.m.

Despite far better intentions, last evening I never got to bed until possibly nigh 11:30 p.m., if not even after. My wife had arrived home at 10 p.m., and soon enough approached me with $300 in hand to have me transfer the same amount from my account by e-Transfer to her.

She needed to access the money online right away, perhaps to send to her mother back in Thailand; but whatever the purpose, it was something she had no means of achieving by herself without a lot of bother and some wait.

So I did that for her, and otherwise just sat up wasting time.

As it was, I had considerable wakefulness in the latter stages of my night before my 6 a.m. cellphone alarm finally sounded, so an extra hour in bed would have been counterintuitive.

I badly wanted my day's first mug of instant coffee, but I felt it imperative to water the front yard garden areas before the world got too busy. It's a half hour chore. The aspirin I generally have with that first coffee thus also had to wait.

It was clearly to be another sunny day.

Once I finally did have and drink that mug of coffee, I was soon out to the backyard tool shed for the usual morning exercise session out there. "Usual" tends to signify that I will only be managing a single repetition in all six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, but this time I got in two pull-ups in the first set and I felt as if I could even have forced out a third; and I finished with the usual squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

I was back in the house before 8 a.m.

My younger brother never emerged from his bedroom until well past 8 a.m. By then I had even finished my day's first meal that I had brought upstairs with me to enjoy here at my bedside computer.

My wife was to have another full workday today; but as yesterday, she never came forth from her bedroom to shower until at least 9:45 a.m., and was off on her rather long and sunny drive nigh 25 minutes later.

T.V. with my brother commenced around 9:10 a.m. when I hobbled downstairs to join him, getting his invitation about five minutes later to start operation of our Android TV Boxes.

First using the R69 Plus Android 14, I opened up with a 34-minute (34:21) video published yesterday to YouTube's Libertytalkcanada channel: The CHINAFICATION Of Canada Through The Indigenous, Mark Carney & The UN.

The grand Marxist/Communist agenda for Canada that was warned about years ago is coming more and more to fruition. Some First Nations/Indigenous are using the UN's UNDRIP/DRIPA to try to sell off Canada's resources to make a lot of money for very few. Liberal PM Mark Carney just handed the biggest cities in BC including Vancouver to the indigenous. Let this be a warning to other countries/states/provinces that the globalists at the UN are up to no good, and are causing serious chaos and damage to Canada and its economy.

I basically got nothing out of the video, for anytime Odessa mainly reads material, I zone right out. As a reader, she is a 'snooze fest'. Even my brother finally complained after nearly a half hour in that he wanted me to change the video to something else, but I assured him that it was nearly over.

A video like this is unnecessary. Odessa is a boring reader, reading boring material. What viewers like my brother and I require is a discussion with one or more guests who are informed about the subject matter and who can elucidate it pointedly.

Just droning on and on as she reads a long article is time-wasting. I usually give a 'thumbs up' to her videos, but I cannot when this is what we sat through. At least I won't give a 'thumbs down'.

Next I tuned in The Morning Show ─ episode five ("Amari") of season four.

After that I switched over to our T95Q Android 9 TV Box to use the USB drive inserted into it, and started us off with a downloaded 16-minute video originally uploaded April 19, 2021, to YouTube's The Why Files channel: UNSOLVED: The Creepiest TV Hack in History.

THE MAX HEADROOM INCIDENT. November 22nd, 1987 was a pretty normal evening for television viewers in Chicago. That night, like every night, Dan Roan was covering sports on WGN-TV, Channel 9.

Then suddenly, the signal was disrupted and screens across the city cut to black.

Engineers at WGN-TV thought their transmitters were failing.

They weren't. A few seconds later, something crazy happened.

WGN's broadcast signal had been hijacked in what is now known as "The Max Headroom Incident".

WGN-TV was able to act quickly and get their signal back. But, Two hours later, it would happen again to another TV station and there was nothing they could do to stop it.

What happens next remains one of the most bizarre unsolved crimes in television history.

We finished up with what looks to be a pretty exciting movie, but only got about 22 minutes into it before knocking off so that my brother could pursue further bed rest. I was in bed for a nap early into the noon hour, and may have only been abed an hour.

I was to turn down another opportunity to get in my year's first sunning session, and I did so primarily because I just cannot yet bear Bev witnessing me hobble down the stairs garbed for sunning ─ I have so little privacy anymore. Once she is up from bed and ensconced in the living room watching T.V. until she goes to bed at night, no one can use the stairs ─ or the front door to come or go ─ without her awareness of it.

At least I had my afternoon light exercise session in my wife's vacant bedroom.

I might as well seek to try and get to bed early this evening ─ my brother left me his monthly expenses reconciliation cheque ($233.33 this time), so maybe I can rise at 3 a.m. overnight and make the two-mile round trip hobble to deposit it at my financial institution's nearest ATM.

Right now it is 3:51 p.m., so I am taking my usual blogging break to watch my usual three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer while enjoying some drinking. Bev usually returns to their bedroom around 4 p.m. to have a shower and whatever else it is that she does to clean up, so I will wait until then to hobble downstairs and fetch what will be my second and final meal of the day.

Yet somehow I broke loose before the usual conclusion. At that point it was almost 7 p.m. and I had still not eaten the meal I had brought to my bedroom.

And then I tuned in The Handmaid's Tale ─ episode eight ("Testimony") of season four. My source was at TVSeries.video.

The episode was bleak and dark, but at least one-eyed, red-headed little Janine does still live. She is my favourite character ─ probably because of how well and appealingly actress Madeline Brewer presents her. I am going to have to watch other work by her once this series is done, if I can remember ─ or sooner, if the show's producers do finally kill her off.

I realized when the episode was done that my brother must have just arrived back from wherever he had bused in the early afternoon to social drink.

I am glad The Handmaid's Tale was my first show, for I am not a fan of the series.

Next I tuned in The Guardian ─ episode 17 ("The Intersection") of season two. Again, my source was at TVSeries.video.

I guess I had forgotten that dear comatose Lulu was potentially dead as a result of the traffic collision cliffhanger of the previous episode. This episode's conclusion with her eyes slightly opening after Nick's emotional bedside prayer to her ─ but they only opened a very few seconds after he left her alone in her private hospital room ─ was deeply touching.

Actress Wendy Moniz is awesome. I will have to watch her other work once the series is done, or if they do kill her off before then.

The episode was done by 9:16 p.m., and so was my second can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol).

After pouring a minimum of a dozen of ounces of Chile's Vivo Reserva white wine (12½% alcohol) into a glass, I tuned in what I expected was going to be my third show on my viewing roster.

But it proved to be Black Mirror. I had already endured a nearly hour-long episode of The Handmaid's Tale, but this Black Mirror episode was damned near 1⅓ hours long! That's almost two regular T.V. series episodes of other shows. I couldn't do that ─ not this bloody late when it was supposed to be an early evening! I'd be up till midnight!

So I cancelled the show and tuned in the sitcom Kitchen Confidential ─ episode nine ("Let's Do Brunch") of the only season. For the third time this evening, TVSeries.video was my source.

Even though this was a relatively short sitcom, I was done the wine well before the episode's conclusion.

The episodes are rather raunchy, but I was pleased to see that I misidentified a guesting actress. I nearly believed that actress Erinn Hayes might have been actress Minka Kelly, but most fortunately I was so very wrong.

The episode was done by 10:09 p.m.

Presently it is 10:42 p.m., and I still have to brush my teeth, but I sure don't want to be sitting up too damned late. It would be great to be in bed before 11 p.m. There will be no early rising to be hobbling off to perform any deposits.

Incidentally, Bev and my drunken brother were squabbling over her refusal to involve herself socially if it involves her having to use a bus by herself. She is content to just sit and watch T.V. here until the day she dies.

Extended Families

I believe that I managed to make it to bed last evening by 10 p.m. at latest, unless my memory is lacking. My wife was just newly home, but had not yet come upstairs. I wanted to ensure that I was plentifully rested by the time my 6 a.m. cellphone alarm sounded, since this was a grocery-shopping Sunday morning.

I got to sleep well enough, but in the wee hours I awoke and had a struggle returning to any decent sleep. I never looked at the time, so I have no idea how long I was in this wretched state. I hope it was no earlier than 4 a.m. that this all began, but without having ever checked the time, I cannot know.

Just before my alarm did finally sound, I heard my youngest stepson moving about. He even opened and closed the front door at least once. Then when my alarm sounded and I rose, quite in need of use of the toilet, the nuisance was shut up in the bathroom, forcing me to save needed relief until I had gone downstairs to boil water for my needed mug of instant coffee that would be washing down an aspirin.

I used the toilet in his den area.

Anon I had my coffee and was back upstairs here at my bedside computer when I heard my wife open her bedroom door, apparently also needing a toilet visitation ─ but her nuisance son was still ensconced in that essential little room.

There is a toilet downstairs in his den area, so she had to do what I was forced to do. However, first I heard her softly give a snort of annoyance at discovery that 'our' toilet was unavailable.

Probably he was having one of his 15- to 20-minute bowel movements, for he will never just use the toilet downstairs for that purpose. Both he and his older brother (when the brother lived here ─ he has lived with his girlfriend now for something over 14 months) apparently dislike using the downstairs toilet because they waste so much toilet paper at each 'sitting' that the lesser water pressure has trouble washing everything away and thus plugging has been an issue.

I sometimes believe that they also do not enjoy having to endure any of the appreciable stench that sometimes results and has in the past fouled the air of all three bedrooms upstairs ─ I am guessing that they prefer the stench be up here rather than downstairs where they always spend their time in what I call their den area, for the downstairs toilet is located there.

Anyway, anon after one or two flushes, I then heard the shower begin ─ his third within a 24-hour period. He had showered early in the afternoon yesterday after he got up from his bed, then again around 6:30 p.m. last evening. And now after sitting up all night doing nothing, he of course needs one more shower before going to bed.

But I am digressing.

I did do my shopping, and I left here exceptionally early ─ at most it was 7:40 a.m. No Frills is about a half mile away and opens at 8 a.m. The reason I left when I did was because I heard my younger brother stirring in his bedroom and I presumed that he was readying to commence his morning downstairs with his morning T.V. news shows and some instant coffee, and I wanted to be away without having to socialize or explain myself.

It was brilliantly sunny out; and although I hobbled along quite slowly with my crippled right leg, I still ended up having to wait for the store to open. I did so seated on a bench facing towards the Sun, but the peak of my cap kept it from my eyes.

With my shopping done, I was starting back for home when I recognized ahead that infernal potentially retarded middle-aged guy who seems to shamelessly make the area his source of income generation. So just as last Sunday, I turned about and went in a different direction to avoid funding this grasper.

My brother was indeed watching T.V. when I did get home.

My walking is abominably difficult now that I am crippled. Getting out just once ─ rarely, twice ─ a week is not practice enough, but I cannot bear being out during the daytime with nothing but South Asians everywhere around here for miles. There is no privacy, and my hobbling walk is an embarrassment and a shame to me.

And to think that when I was a hale younger man and would go forth, if there seemed people ahead such as at a bus stop, I would just start a strong run to make my exposure to such very brief. It was nothing for me to run a mile or more to bypass populations.

And now I cannot even walk properly. But I have no means of practicing and trying to reclaim that function, for I need seclusion to practice and I have absolutely none.

I don't know what to do. I do not drive, nor have I access to a vehicle even if I did drive. Truly, I am just slowly dying away at 76 years of age a total prisoner of my environment, and my debt and familial responsibilities.

But on to morning T.V. with my brother.

Upon soon joining him and then getting his invitation to commence operation of our Android TV Boxes, I used the R69 plus Android 14 to tune in a 20-minute video uploaded earlier today to YouTube's AnitaK channel: He was Imprisoned in China, Now He Warns Canada.

She is referring to Michael Kovrig.

My second video was 48 minutes (48:24) and had been streamed yesterday to Rumble's Daniel Davis Deep Dive channel: Deep Dive Intel Briefing: What We Learned This Week /Lt Col Daniel Davis.

The talk exclusively revolved around Iran and President Donald Trump's present war with the country.

After that I switched over to our T95Q Android 9 TV Box where I have the USB drive inserted and we finished watching the long (a little over two hours) movie we only got about 48 minutes into yesterday ─ 2010's The Way. My original source was this OK.ru link.

Actress Deborah Kara Unger was unknown to me, and I was surprised to find out that she was born in Vancouver, B.C. ─ so was I, but long before her. I will likely watch her earlier acting work, if I can remember.

At the movie's conclusion, my brother returned to his bedroom for further bed rest.

I had seen that he only had three cans of beer remaining in his 24-can box, so I had no doubt that he would be going on a resupply drive after his rest.

I intended going along in order to buy a four-litre box of wine, but I was tired enough to have a nap. I figured that if I did nap overlong and missed out, well, life would go on ─ I've lots of beer.

But I had a miserable time of it relaxing enough to fall asleep. And yet I was abed nigh 1½ hours.

I did not miss out on my brother, nevertheless. But it mattered naught. It developed that he already had a new 24-can box in his van ─ he'd bought the beer yesterday, but just never brought it in from his van.

After he left afoot for a bus to carry him social drinking, I just could not bear hobbling downstairs to get in my first afternoon's sunning thus far this year. I was too tired, and the thought of having Bev look my way as I came down the stairs was too much ─ where she sits in the living room on the chesterfield in front of the T.V., the stairs and even the short hallway above are in complete view of her. It is as if she is a self-appointed monitor, sitting there from the time she rises midday or so until she finally goes to bed at night.

I couldn't do it ─ I have no privacy to do hardly any of the things that I really should be doing, and it hurts a lot.

At least I had my afternoon exercise session in my wife's vacant bedroom. She had a full workday today at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time; and although she did not emerge from her bedroom until darned near 9:50 a.m., she still managed a fast shower and was on her rather long drive not too very long after 10 a.m.

I had my day's second and final meal since exercising; and now it is 6:10 p.m., and time for my blogging break so that I can watch three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer while doing a little drinking.

The evening was begun with Doom Patrol ─ episode three ("Dead Patrol") of season three. My source was at TVSeries.video.

It was entertaining enough, but never quite caught me up. And honestly, I am so freakin' sick of DC's Gay compulsion, injecting it into absolutely everything they produce.

It was difficult making the can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) last, despite not starting on it until after 15 minutes of the long episode had played; and the show was done no later than 7:15 p.m.

With so much delight I saw that the next show on my roster was my beloved Friday Night Lights ─ episode 18 ("Extended Families") of the first season. And for the second time this evening, my source was at TVSeries.video.

I restricted myself to a second can of beer, but I love this series so much that I could watch nothing else all evening and drink unrestrictedly.

I don't want to come to the end of the series, though; and I don't want to be too blitzed to be fully aware of it as the episodes progress.

This series means so much to me that I am considering ─ after the end of the first season ─ adding the series to the list of shows I watch with my brother some mornings. As is often so with this series, it opened up my emotions.

Tonight, the episode was done by 8:14 p.m. And I was to see below downstairs that at some point my brother had come home, and was passed out in his chair in the living room.

A dozen or so ounces of Chile's Vivo Reserva white wine (12½% alcohol) were poured into a glass for my third and final show, Sight Unseen ─ episode two ("About a Boy") of season two. This time my source was this OK.ru link.

I definitely enjoyed the show, preposterous as is the entire series. Nonetheless, Friday Night Lights rated higher than both of the other two shows combined.

Sight Unseen was done by 9:17 p.m., and a peek downstairs revealed my brother to be passed out ─ still? Or merely relapsing after a stretch of consciousness?

This is why it is no longer of any worth watching shows with him in the evening. They are invariably wasted on him. He has little functioning brain matter once he is drunk. I just marvel that he managed to drive home for so many years without creating a catastrophic incident. But even for him to bus back home after his current daily socializing, how does he never pass out aboard the bus and overshoot his destination? Maybe he has, but has never owned up to it, and just lies to Bev about having gotten involved with some other distraction either where he was drinking, or else some unforeseen traffic event that froze or delayed / detoured transit travel.

Right now it is 9:40 p.m. and I am going to brush my teeth, and soon enough be to bed. Since it takes about 15 minutes to brush my teeth, and at least as much time to close up everything still left undone here on my computer, I can only hope to be to bed by 10:15 p.m.

Humans and Intimacy

What a total difference between last night's sleep and that of the night before, despite getting over seven hours of bed time each night, and drinking the same amount of alcohol before bed.

Could the two buns (one Danish-like, the other a pork bun) that my youngest stepson brought me last evening be the cause of such a ruinous night last night? I had already had my day's last meal, so wolfing down these two items of virtually unknown total ingredients might have polluted me.

I got to sleep similarly both nights, but last night I hit excessive wakeful stretches and was over-warm in bed, even sweating a little. And I experienced lower leg cramping that I do not remember having undergone before ─ this wasn't calf cramping.

My right leg suffered the most ─ the cramping was only suggestive in my left leg. I suppose that it is likely tendon that lies above the outer ankle and runs vertically alongside the fibula for several inches before the swell of the calf begins.

If a tendon can cramp, then that is what began happening. The cramp wasn't painful like a calf cramp is, but it was extremely disconcerting and relentless, for I could not seem to consciously ease it. And then the entire part of my foot where the big toe and its main joint are just began to lift and relatively slowly draw towards my shin ─ it was so damned weird. I could feel this steady, inexorable elevation occurring, but could only interfere with it by using my other foot to apply pressure to resist it.

The inside of my foot was also responding to this deformation.

In some alarm, I wondered if it was going to make standing impossible, so I gingerly came to my feet from my bed ─ fortunately, this was a remedial action. My foot stabilized, as did the strange cramping of the tendon. I took the opportunity to walk to and use the toilet, then returned to bed.

There were thereafter some stirrings of this condition still manifesting, but ultimately they subsided and I got a little more sleep. When my 6 a.m. alarm sounded, however, I felt wretchedly ill-slept, and digestively 'burned out' ─ it was the sensation one has following having eaten overmuch long before, and the system is overtaxed from the strain of having had to deal with the burden.

My morning mug of coffee was exceptionally alluring, and I was very much looking forward to using the coffee to wash down an aspirin. But while I awaited the boiling of water, I lay on the chesterfield in the living room, easing an unusual amount of aching and stiffness.

I felt very much like I had a hangover and had sat up into the wee hours drinking, and then only gotten a few hours of sleep. But it was not so.

Incidentally, when my wife got home in the late evening yesterday, she appropriated my unbroached four-litre box of Sommet Rouge wine (12% alcohol), leaving me the half-done box of Vivo Reserva white wine (12½%) from Chile.

I must put greater effort into assuring that I do not again mistakenly buy a white wine and not the red that I favour. White simply lacks the body of a red wine. It's almost like drinking a strained orange juice instead of enjoying the thick, pulpy juice from a batch of freshly squeezed oranges.

Despite how crappy I initially felt this morning, I did normalize enough to bear having the usual backyard tool shed exercise session of a single repetition in each of six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, followed by the squat work to strengthen the quadriceps muscles of my crippled right leg.

Overnight when I was awake, I heard it audibly begin raining ─ it was a tentative start but the drops had to have been enormous for when it is raining steadily a light rain, I do not even hear it. These initial drops were starkly clear patters that increased in concentration until we were having a downpour out there.

This alleviated all burden I had of needing to do any garden watering early this morning.

And a rather sunny day was ahead.

With my wife home ─ she was only scheduled to work the latter part of the day at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time ─ I opted not to yet begin this year's sunning.

My younger brother never emerged from his bedroom until 9:10 or 9:15 a.m., by which time I had our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box in control of the T.V.

When he joined me, I began playing a 1½-hour video streamed two days ago to Rumble's The Shadoe Davis Show: April 30th/2026- W/Canadian Hero Jeff Evely!

Tonight: Our guest is Jeff Evely and we have much to discuss including: "trans" medical treatments on children, the MAYDAY Canada event next week in Ottawa, Walking in "the woods", and the general state of the world including what the hell is going on in the middle east and more. Gonna be a good one tonight people!

After that we did not quite get 50 minutes into a two-hour movie before my brother broke for further bed rest, so we'll be continuing with the movie tomorrow ... likely.

My midday time in bed for my nap was only around an hour.

My wife was not to leave for work until well after 3:30 p.m. By that time I had developed an eye-strain sort of headache, so when she did leave, I had no inclination to exercise in her bedroom, apart from some leg raises. I actually felt that if I tried anything strenuous, this headache pressure ─ even though not severe ─ could be problematic. When I was young, my thinking was more along the lines of pushing out the bad blood from my brain and infusing it with new and purifying fresh blood. But now at the age of 76, I am more inclined to be concerned of stroking out.

A naked weigh-in afterwards was a rather disappointing high of 182 pounds.

I have only had two mugs of coffee today ─ no food at all. I don't want to eat until after 6 p.m. But I do want to get at a little drinking, so I am going to start watching my usual three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer unusually early. Right now it is 4:16 p.m. as I take a blogging break ─ I will be into my first T.V. show very soon after the half hour.

My first show was done by 5:21 p.m. ─ that's freakin' early! I will be finished my next show before I have often even begun watching these things!

This first show was S.W.A.T. ─ episode eight ("The Tiffany Experience") of season two. My source was at TVSeries.video.

This one was good, and I even had my emotions affected at one point. It had nothing to do with the can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) that I drank during the show. The scene was simply deeply touching.

I miss having friends ─ in-person friends, and not friends I only know via the Web.

A second beer in hand, I tuned in a series I used to watch in the evening pre-COVID with my brother, but I never left a record that I can uncover of where we left off with the series. And no description makes my recognition flare.

I am speaking of Humans ─ this time, I re-watched episode one of the first season. I must observe here that the Wikipedia description of that episode is completely out of whack or sequence.

My source was again at TVSeries.video. I remember many portions of the episode, but I used to drink heavily in the evenings when I watched shows with my brother. I found that the episode was exceptionally involving, so I did not in the least mind seeing it again in a more sober state. But I wonder how far my brother and I got into the series?

In this episode, I recognized one actress whom I just could not place. I had a vague idea on her name, and then eventually the series I knew her from struck home: The IT Crowd. I am of course speaking of Katherine Parkinson. She looked considerably 'dumpier' in Humans than she did in The IT Crowd, where she was actually remarkably 'hot' despite having that status downplayed for her character.

The Humans episode was done by 6:32 p.m., and it was intriguing. I know that I am vulnerable to that degree of attachment to such a manufactured 'person' as one of the 'female' synths was being portrayed. All of my life I have longed for devotion from a 'true love', and I would reciprocate beyond measure.

For my third show, I poured a minimum of a dozen ounces of that Chilean white wine into a glass, and tuned in The Rookie ─ episode seven ("Baja") of season eight. And for the third time, my source was at TVSeries.video.

This was also a truly enjoyable episode.

I think that I will award first place to Humans because of how lonely I am for an intimate relationship, so both S.W.A.T. and The Rookie can tie for second spot ─ The Rookie might have the edge.

The show and my glass of wine were done by 8:29 p.m., and I realized that at some point my brother had gotten back home from wherever he had bused towards mid-afternoon to social drink.

I have since brushed my teeth, and contemplated watching more T.V. shows, but that would require further drinking, and I am shy about expending those resources. I lack, and a massive taxation bill is coming up in earliest July, while a lesser hit is coming June 14. Meantime, the fortnightly mortgage is nearly $1,000 ... and my normal pension income each month usually nets well below $3,000.

This is not the retirement I ever even remotely imagined in any worst scenarios in my younger life.

Right now it is 9:26 p.m., and I am going to get to bed well before 10 p.m. for once.

Captured Wolf Moon Pageantry

I failed last evening in getting to bed by 10:30 p.m., but I still managed to be to bed before 11 p.m. And overnight I never once rose to use the toilet, so I was in bed for over seven hours by the time my 6 a.m. cellphone got me up for the morning.

First on my agenda was to slowly heat water for a mug of instant coffee, since I was going to be watering front yard garden areas for a half hour.

Then after finally having the mug of coffee ─ the first of two that I tend to have daily ─ I went out to the backyard tool shed for the usual exercise session there. Also usual was the single repetition in each of the six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups that preceded the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

It was 8 a.m. by the time I finished out there ─ I think overall, it only take maybe 15 minutes.

My younger brother was not to emerge from his bedroom until fairly close to 8:30 a.m., but there is never any sense in joining him until maybe 9:10 a.m. because of his addiction to morning T.V. news programmes.

Upon his invitation, I began operation of our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box and tuned back in the two-hour (2:02:51) video that we had only watched maybe an hour of yesterday morning. It had been published two days ago to Rumble's Tucker Carlson channel: MTG on the Neocons’ Hatred for America and What’s Truly Going on Behind the Scenes in Washington.

I am a fan of magnificent Marjorie Taylor Greene, and only tuned the video in yesterday because of her. However, the first hour did not include her ─ it was just Tucker soliloquizing or monologuing. But she was definitely in the second half of the video, and did not disappoint me.

We were to watch just one further video ─ The Graham Norton Show, and specifically the latest season or series 33's episode 12.

And only just now have I discovered that one of Graham's guests ─ Michelle de Swarte ─ is known to me through the bizarre T.V. series The Baby in which Michelle has the central role.

Graham Norton was done before yet 11:30 a.m., but this is my brother's normal laundering day, and during the show at one point my brother was absent for at least 15 minutes ─ I have no idea what the laundry 'fussbudget' could be doing. When he disappeared again towards the end of the show and time was passing as I awaited his return, I just gave up on him and shut everything down, then came upstairs here to my bedside computer.

He has no idea how to operate anything but the T.V.

I even returned to my bed for my usual nap before it was yet noon ─ he was on his own. I never did consort with him again.

I was only abed for about an hour, but both he and Bev were already downstairs. I don't know if he got any further bed rest or not.

Then around 2 - 2:30 p.m. he left to catch a bus to take him away to engage his daily social drinking.

Around mid-afternoon I went out to the backyard to trim my fingernails; and then I watered the garden plants. I realized that it is now sunny and warm enough that I could be sunning again. Maybe tomorrow early afternoon I will give it a shot ─ today was a bath day.

I waited until around 3:30 p.m. to be almost certain that my wife was not going to be making an appearance before going on to work the latter part of today, and then I occupied the bathroom for the next hour involved in everything that entails me having a bath.

I have no time to bath as well as have my usual afternoon light exercise session.

But whatever ─ right now it is 5:54 p.m. and well past time for me to break from blogging to watch my usual three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer and enjoy a little drinking.

With a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) in hand, I enjoyed FBI ─ episode two ("Captured") of season eight. My source was at M4uFree.cx, and the show was done by 6:53 p.m., I believe.

It was good. And it was nice seeing guest star Claire Coffee ─ I have liked her since Grimm. I am unsure if I have seen her since that series.

My second beer was enjoyed with Teen Wolf ─ the premiere episode ("Wolf Moon") of season one. My source was at MoviesJoyTV.co. And it was done by 7:56 p.m.

I enjoyed the show more than I expected to ─ it was nicely done. And the scene of the main male lead's teen crush classmate bringing a hurt dog (she had hit it on a rainy evening's drive) to the animal shelter or clinic where he happened to be probably volunteering that evening all by himself ─ I was soon smiling broadly. I love 'young love' ─ always have. I wanted it, but never found it.

The episode was slightly spoiled late into it by a text from my youngest stepson ─ he had brought home two pastries or such for me from a local Maxim's Bakery: one a sort of pork bun, the other a sort of Danish. I had already eaten a light meal, but I am a weakling for something like this, so I had to go downstairs and fetch the two items.

My next show was in the accompaniment of two types of wine. First, I drained the last dregs from the four-litre box of Copper Moon Shiraz wine (13% alcohol) ─ there were at least six ounces; and then I guesstimated another six or somewhat more of Chile's Vivo Reserva white wine (12½% alcohol).

All of that got me through an excellent episode of FBI: Most Wanted ─ episode six ("Pageantry") of season six. My source was again M4uFree.cx this evening.

That one kept me wondering!

The show was done by ... well, 𝓈𝒽𝒾𝓉 ─ I looked, but evidently I never bothered to take proper note! Let's just say it was 9:10 p.m. by most, in all likelihood.

I reckon I will rate Teen Wolf as my favourite, for it was the only show to touch me emotionally. The other two were just dramatic police procedural shows that were irrelevant to me.

My brother seemed to arrive back home at 9:22 p.m.

It is now 10:20 p.m., and the plan with determination is to be to bed long before 11 p.m. ─ nearer 10:30 p.m., I do hope.

But enough for today ─ I must start the shutdown process. As yet, my wife has not come home. Or has she? It is 10:26 p.m., and I think that she is here ─ yes, I hear her voice downstairs.

To my monumental shame, I was not to bed last night until something like 2:38 a.m. There is no need for me to say why.

I was prepared to write today off ─ or at least, certainly the morning and my usual backyard tool shed exercise session, for I was not about to be setting my cellphone alarm for 6 a.m. nor any other time.

After some sleep a point arrived when I was awake and decided to lift my bandana / sweatband blindfold, and it seemed quite bright outside. A time check then revealed it to be 6:09 a.m. at most, and I wasn't feeling any worse for lack of sleep than usual, so I chose to rise for the morning.

I had the exercise session; and instead of a single repetition in all six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, the opening set had two pull-ups, and I felt that if I had tried I might have managed three. I was back in the house just ahead of 8 a.m. My younger brother never emerged from his bedroom until well past 8 a.m.

I joined him very shortly past 9 a.m. for our morning T.V., and he was quick to offer control of the T.V. to me so that I could take over with our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box.

Our first video was 10 minutes (10:11) and had been uploaded earlier today to YouTube's AnitaK channel: Say It Anyway! Even If HR Comes for You.

Anita was reporting on some bald, long-bearded, massive-breasted man in a dress who is an Oxford chemistry professor.

Our final YouTube video was four minutes (4:18) and had been uploaded yesterday to the Dallas Brodie channel: Dallas Brodie MOCKS new school names in BC.

I had seen that Marjorie Taylor Greene was Tucker Carlson's guest on a video that he published to Rumble yesterday, so I tuned it in even though it somewhat exceeded two hours at the Tucker Carlson channel: MTG on the Neocons’ Hatred for America and What’s Truly Going on Behind the Scenes in Washington.

This was a 2000 documentary, so I can only wonder what the situation is today. Different, surely.

My brother sought more bed rest following the documentary, and I was likely to bed by around noon; but oddly enough, I may not have managed to be abed much over an hour. I anticipated much longer.

The morning had been clouded over, but by early afternoon we were getting considerable sunshine.

I had a light exercise session in my wife's vacant bedroom, finishing up the nigh half hour just ahead of 3 p.m.

I fully intend on getting to bed sensibly early this evening, so I am going to get an early start on my usual three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer ─ and the bit of drinking that goes along with those shows.

Right now it is 4:33 p.m., so I will report back in the evening to finish and publish my post.

I led with Profiler ─ episode eight ("Cruel and Unusual") of the first season. My source was at 1Moviewsz.to ─ you'll have to search for yourself, for corrupt Blogger has unpublished (banned) past posts for including links it preferred censored. It matters not that Blogger is Google, and Google will return those links if one searches for them.

I drank a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol), and the beer and my show were done by 6:04 p.m.

Next I tuned in The Crow: Stairway to Heaven ─ episode four ("Like It's 1999") of the only season. My source was this Archive.org link. Supposedly the entire series is there. However, for some reason the first three listings at Archive.org appear to be episode one. And I intended to watch episode two ("Souled Out") this evening, but it was not until the episode was done that I realized I had actually watched episode four ─ not two.

Is it even there? I am wondering, now. But I will wait until next week or whenever it is that I get set to watch the show again, because I detest watching series out of context after being duped by the uploader. These mix-ups were reported back in 2022, but no rearrangement was done.

I had my second beer during the show, which was over by 7:06 p.m.

My emphatically final show was Ragnarok ─ episode two ("541 Meters") of season one. A minimum of twelve or so ounces of Copper Moon Shiraz wine (13% alcohol) had been poured into a glass, and was most appreciably ingested as the show advanced.

It was dramatic, intense, and absorbing. Yet even though it was more powerful than the two shows watched earlier, the The Crow: Stairway to Heaven episode had a section or two that affected me far more deeply in emotional terms than did Ragnarok.

I will still rate Ragnarok the top show of the three. It is just that even back in my late teens I have had a longing to be a warrior against evildoers, and who was recognized and aided by God. Sometimes when I watch shows featuring just 'justice-dealers', I relapse to and recall that deeply embedded heroism that I wish could be brought forth and lived.

Anyway, the show and wine were done by 8:29 p.m.

At present, it is 9:44 p.m., and I have taken the time to brush my teeth ─ 15 minutes is not uncommon. My brother seems not yet home from his bus trip ere 3 p.m. to go social drinking, so Bev has been entirely on her own with my big-screen T.V. in the living room that I hardly ever get to enjoy.

I am going to commence finishing up whatever needs finishing here on my bedside computer in my tiny overcrowded bedroom, and then shut it down and get to bed. It won't be by 10 p.m., but certainly before 10:30 p.m.

It was after 10:30 p.m. when I went to bed last evening, but well enough ahead of 11 p.m. I rose once a bit past 4 a.m. overnight to use the toilet, and then remained abed until my 6 a.m. alarm sounded.

It seems to me that I was aware that my wife was still up around or soon past 2 a.m. ─ she was not yet home when I went to bed. My younger brother told me this afternoon that he was up until 1 a.m. and she was not yet home.

I got a little further work done with our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box. Then my brother surprised me around 7:44 a.m. by emerging from his bedroom for the morning this sunny day ─ I had yet to go out to the backyard tool shed for my measly single repetition in all six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, followed by the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

Notwithstanding, I tended to that duty regardless of him being up. I realized that if my wife has the day off work, then I would not be exercising in her bedroom in the afternoon like I usually do, so I dared not skip the morning's exercising.

I was right about my wife, incidentally.

As for morning T.V. with my brother once I joined him shortly after 9 a.m. and got his invitation to start operation of our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box, I led off with a 21½-minute video uploaded earlier today to YouTube's Moose on the Loose channel: WHOA! Well, I never managed to nap ─ perhaps I had a tinge of anxiety?

When I rose, I saw that my wife had emerged from her bedroom at some point; but Bev and my brother were still in their bedroom.

My wife was to take off on some errand before Bev and a while later my brother showed themselves, and I was to learn from him that they (he and she) would be running some extra errands, for she was going along too.

So I distanced myself from the outing ... only to have my brother soon enough alert me that Bev was not feeling like going anywhere. He and I could do the beer run. I didn't really need beer ─ I had two dozen cans; but I wanted a four-litre box of red wine, so I felt that I might as well buy both.

And so it was, leaving me $84.10 poorer for the venture.

Wine goes rather quickly when I have my wife helping me drink it.

She was back home when we returned, incidentally.

My brother was not home for too much longer ere he left afoot for a bus to carry him off to engage his daily social drinking.

As I expected, my wife was not home to remain. At 5:08 p.m. she headed out the front door to drive off somewhere, and I am not expecting her back until at least early afternoon Friday.

Right now it is 5:59 p.m., so I am going to take a blogging break and watch three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer while doing a little drinking. I will finish up this post late into the evening.

It will likely not be an evening of exciting viewing like yestere'en was.

My first can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) went down to Madam Secretary ─ episode 15 ("The Ninth Circle") of the first season. My source was at TVSeries.video.

And the show was done by 7:09 p.m.

Sure, it was plenty interesting, but mundane stuff. I prefer derring-do and fantastic intense romance ─ material to generate my more primary emotions.

Anyway, it sounded like my brother may have gotten home at some point during the show.

Next I watched Betrayal ─ episode 11 ("...The Karsten Way") of the only season. And again, my source was at TVSeries.video. And so also went a second can of beer.

Just as I said above, the episode was indeed deeply interesting, but it meant nothing to me on a personal emotional level. I am merely entertaining myself ─ not being inspired nor roused.

My third show was little better, although I found myself drawn to blonde bombshell Meghan Hilty clearly descending into the possession of the pharmaceuticals she is getting prescribed.

That actress is physically overwhelming, and I suppose much has to do with my young-adult utter love of Marilyn Monroe for a full two years!

If it is not obvious, I am speaking of the series Smash ─ and this evening's episode nine ("Hell on Earth") of the first season. And for a third time this evening my source was at TVSeries.video.

I accompanied the show with about 12 ounces of Copper Moon Shiraz wine (13% alcohol), but the show ended at 9:06 p.m., and I still had possibly two ounces of wine remaining in my glass.

So I squeezed in a sitcom. Specifically, Whitney ─ episode eight ("Space Invaders") of season two. This time my source was at Weflix.to.

I had to drastically nurse that bit of wine, but it was ... well ... close to sufficient. I wouldn't want to start off my evening this way, however. And the show was done by 9:57 p.m.

I am calling it quits now. I shall spend the next 15 or so minutes brushing my teeth, and then slowly work my way into closing whatever needs finishing up here on my old computer.

Tomorrow, after all, is another pointless day I shall have to get through. My immediate struggle is resisting the madness of dissolution that is strongly creeping up on me, and has so often in the past kept me up for some hours beyond midnight, basically destroying my immediate tomorrow.

No 6 a.m. alarm was necessary this morning, for after being awake some while, I checked the time at 5:43 a.m. and chose to rise then ─ why not?

I had gotten to bed last evening just before 11 p.m., but I still felt lacking this morning.

For once I left the Android TV Boxes alone now that I know why the R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box was not recognizing the internet cable. My youngest stepson had thought that some outside Wi-Fi account was siphoning off the Telus fibre optic internet data, and so he used some sort of remote-like device to block the outsider ─ but it was the Android TV Box, and I spent the last week or more pointlessly trying everything I could to regain the internet connection, including doing a factory reset on the Box.

My early backyard tool shed exercise session was the usual single repetition in all six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, followed by the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

My younger brother was not to emerge from his bedroom until well past 9 a.m., so I ensured that I had possession of the T.V. under the control of the Android TV Box by then. I even had a bit of time to find and download two further apps: SmartTube and Rumble. I didn't really want Rumble due to its ads, but I just could not recall the name of the app allowing access without ads to several platforms like Rumble and BitChute ─ I now know it was Grayjay that I could not recall. I could remember "jay" but nothing else.

For about the past three days I had been seeking a specific episode of Juliet Bravo ─ episode 14 ("Oscar") of season or series one. To be honest, my brother and I never understood if there was any resolution to the story in the episode of the dysfunctional family. We sure would have appreciated subtitles.

We finished our viewing with the last half or so of the documentary we had gotten into yestermorn. At 58 minutes (58:09), it had been published July 24, 2019, to BitChute's Adaneth channel: The Mystery of Rome's X Tomb.

Historian Dr. Michael Scott unlocks the secrets of a mysterious tomb recently discovered in one of Rome's famous catacombs. Found by accident following a roof collapse, the tombs contained over 2,000 skeletons piled on top of each other. This was quite unlike any other underground tomb seen in Rome. They are located in an area of the catacombs marked as 'X' in the Vatican's underground mapping system - hence the name The X Tombs. Michael Scott joins Profs Dominique Castex and Philippe Blanchard, head of a team of French archaeologists with experience of investigating mass grave sites.

Carbon dating the bodies suggest they died from the late 1st century AD to the early 3rd century AD, which would mean these people lived and died during Rome's golden age. But the bones don't show the signs of physical trauma you would expect after a violent death. The bodies were a mixture of men and women, most of them late-teenagers and young adults. They were placed in the tombs with great care, packed in head to foot. Further clues suggest they were laid to rest after a series of mass death events. This raises the idea they may have died from disease. The streets of Ancient Rome were like an open sewer and the famous roman baths were also a breeding ground for infection. DNA expert and palaeogeneticist Johannes Krause is called in to try to identify what disease may have killed them. Meanwhile, the French team uncover further clues to the identity of the people. They find cultural connections with Northern Africa. Was this a wealthy immigrant community? Or a select group of Ancient Rome's elite?

Thereafter my brother sought further bed rest, and towards 12:30 p.m. I was after my nap. However, just as yesterday, though I napped and was in bed only an hour, I felt unpleasant. The same sensation was with me ─ i.e., if I was prone to headaches, I likely would have developed one.

We have now had two consecutive days of overcast skies. And this morning, we even had some light rain that may have carried over into the midday.

My wife had a full workday today at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, so before mid-afternoon I was in her vacant bedroom having my usual light afternoon exercise session.

I have been feeling rather 'stressed out' this afternoon ─ I am craving a financially independent life and as much complete solitude as I may choose to have. And almost above all I wish that Bev had a bloody life and was not sitting in the living room each and every day all afternoon and evening watching T.V.

I need my blogging break so that I can start on some beer and watch the first of the usual three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer. 'Tis 5:17 p.m.

My source was at M4uFree.cx, and the episode was done by 7:26 p.m. In short order, I recognized that at some point my brother had gotten home from wherever he had bused in the early afternoon to social drink.

After brushing my teeth, and then pouring about 12 ounces of Chile's Vivo Reserva white wine (12½% alcohol) into a glass, I tuned in Van Helsing ─ episode seven ("Metamorphosis") of season four. This time my source was at CineGo.co.

A good episode. 𝖳𝗁𝖾 𝖾𝗆𝖻𝗈𝖽𝗂𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍 𝗈𝖿 𝗍𝗐𝗂𝗌𝗍𝖾𝖽 𝖾𝗏𝗂𝗅 was beautifully depicted. Although nothing about the episode was touching, it brought near my old longing to be a mighty soldier and champion against evil.

But of course I grew old, crippled ... and abandoned of and by God.

The show was done by 8:55 p.m.

My wife does not likely have to work tomorrow ─ or if she does, not until the latter afternoon. Either way, when she gets home later this evening or overnight, she will not likely be rising until midday or even the early afternoon.

I feel little inclination to be sitting up awaiting her.

Right now it is p.m., so I am going to start finishing up whatever I have open here on my computer and betake myself to bed. That process may well take me to 10:30 p.m., for I hardly feel inclined for bed quite yet.

Nothing I Remember

I rose at 5 a.m. unnecessarily. That is to say, the extra hour I was able to use to work at trying to remedy my Android TV Box situation yielded no solution.

To recap, the Ethernet (internet) cable has not been recognized for at least a week now by our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box ─ not even after I sacrificed everything I had downloaded into it by choosing a factory reset yesterday morning.

As well, our old T95Q Android 9 TV Box does recognize when the same internet cable is attached, but that Box no longer allows downloads. I wanted to try installing an apk file this morning from a USB drive or stick, but even though the Box goes through the whole process right up to the point of offering the options of "Done" or "Open", there is nothing different ─ nothing was installed.

It was all so disheartening.

I was even considering writing a negative review at Amazon.ca where I had bought the R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box early this year. All I could conclude was that the port for the cable must have become disabled through damage ─ perhaps its mechanism was weak and the internet cable had broken something inside it.

I gave up my efforts and chose to spend time outside watering the front yard garden plants ─ this can take a half hour or more.

Then I went out to the backyard tool shed and had my usual poor performance at six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups ─ a mere single repetition in each. And I followed that with the squat work to strengthen my crippled right leg.

By the time I came back into the house at just about 8 a.m., my brother was already downstairs watching his T.V. news programmes. I gathered up my day's first meal and brought that upstairs here to my bedside computer to enjoy; and then a little past 9 a.m. I hobbled back downstairs to join my brother for our usual morning T.V. together.

He was quick enough to invite me to begin operation of our Android TV Boxes (he doesn't understand how to do so himself), so I led off with a lengthy ─ over four hours (4:11:50) ─ video streamed yesterday to Rumble's Megyn Kelly On Rumble channel: Megyn Kelly BOMBSHELL 04.26.26: Luigi Mangione, NXIVM Cult, And Megyn's Own Family Fraud Story - True Crime.

Then we watched Agatha Christie's Poirot ─ episode five ("The Third Floor Flat") of season or series one. While I was seeking a source, my wife ─ who had a full workday at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time ─ interrupted to have me help carry out some bags of things she was taking with her on her rather long drive. I noticed that she had packed up the four-litre box of Copper Moon Shiraz wine (13% alcohol) to take, so that will be the end of that ─ it didn't have too much left, maybe a couple of litres at very most, but likely less.

Now all that remains is the four-litre box of Vivo Reserva Chilean white wine (12½% alcohol) that I have nearly finished a litre of.

I had bought both boxes, incidentally.

We thereafter got about halfway through a documentary when my brother felt it necessary to return to his bedroom for further bed rest.

My youngest stepson who mostly works from home via his dual-monitor computer setup pays for the internet because he wanted to avail himself of the vaunted fibre optic Telus system for better data speed several years ago ─ my brother and I had been using a different carrier (Shaw).

Well, after my brother returned to his bedroom, I approached my stepson and outlined my problem with the internet cable to the R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box. He produced some sort of handheld device that he briefly fidgeted with and then said to try the connection again.

It worked perfectly.

I don't know what the young man has to allow him to deny access to a single device that is using the same internet cable as another device, but apparently he can. He didn't know what some mystery Wi-Fi account was that seemed possibly able to be siphoning off his precious data, so he denied it access ─ and apparently it was the Android TV Box.

And here I was on the verge of being done with the Box!

Anyway, I got back to bed fairly early into the noon hour, napping, but coming out of it feeling decidedly unpleasant. I don't easily get headaches; but if I were such a type, then probably I would have developed one.

The sensation did ease over the course of the afternoon.

There was no afternoon exercise for me today, for it was a bath day. And so that chore largely consumed the hour from 4 - 5 p.m. ere I had left the bathroom.

The day has been unexpectedly largely overcast, for the record.

Right now it is 5:40 p.m., so I am going to break from blogging in order to have a light second meal of my day, and then watch the usual three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer while doing a little drinking.

I started off with The Expanse ─ episode six ("Paradigm Shift") of season two. My source was at TVSeries.video. I made one can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) get me through.

I have grown to find this series distinctly interesting and exciting. I used to find it generally so difficult to follow along with that it was often boring. But I've grown to know various characters now, and have begun caring about them.

The episode was done by 7:21 p.m.

Next up was Stargirl ─ the premiere episode ("Summer School: Chapter One") of season two. My source was again at TVSeries.video. And one can of beer sufficed.

For a premiere episode, it was rather lame, to be honest. Just scene-setting, basically. It was over by 8:20 p.m.

My highlight of the episode was recognizing awesome Alicia Witt in one scene as a diner waitress. That's all they gave her to do? I adore her!

My last show involved about a dozen ounces of Chile's Vivo Reserva white wine ─ in fact, I was greedy and slightly overfilled my glass, incurring a bit of wastage. As if I can afford that!

So I watched Legacies ─ episode six ("That's Nothing I Had to Remember") of season two. For the third time this evening, my source was at TVSeries.video. And all were done by 9:28 p.m.

I rate this show the top of my three this evening, beating out The Expanse. Much of that has to do with the three lovely young actresses portraying the three lead female characters. But things do get intense in the show.

By the way, my brother arrived home before I got around to starting the episode.

So many evenings, I realize that he is absolutely unconscious downstairs in his chair 'watching' whatever old T.V. series Bev had tuned in for them. It seems back-to-back episodes of only a few lame sitcoms. He probably doesn't mind because he is so regularly passed out, and anything worthwhile would be a waste.

I could never revert to spending my evenings watching shows with him as before ─ he is too brain-damaged from massive daily drunkenness long before even I had retired. It was why our mother had to live and die alone ─ she dared to critique his daily drunkenness.

I shall say nothing further. It is 9:48 p.m. and he is upstairs discovering why Bev mysteriously has already called it an evening and gone to bed ─ he had been unconscious when she sneaked upstairs.

It's late enough for blogging. I am going to publish this post, brush my teeth, and get to work closing up everything that I need to on this computer before shutting it down.

At least I can get back to rising at 6 a.m. again, and not 5 a.m. like this morning.

But I need a financial miracle to get me out of this pointless lifestyle, and it does not seem God has any intention of allowing one.

Unsound Mind

Another morning with a 6 a.m. start, thanks to my cellphone alarm.

Three or four or so days back, my wife appropriated my handheld mirror and said that she was going to keep it in her bedroom, since she deemed her need of it more realistic than mine with my shaven head.

I didn't mind at all, but I do see it as being essential in keeping my chin beard and moustache neat from a side view that I can only get with a handheld mirror; and so I had determined that I would devote my early Sunday morning shopping to a visit to the nearest Shopper's Drug Mart a half mile from here. It opens at 8 a.m.

I barely made it out of here ahead of 8 a.m., and I think that my younger brother was just about to emerge from his bedroom.

It was a brilliant, sunny morning ─ not to my liking when I am doing these Sunday morning shopping hobbles. But at least I never coincided with anyone else during the round trip, although I did have to make a sudden detour around the shopping plaza and approach the pharmacy from the other side because I would have otherwise met up with the infernal panhandler who hangs around that area.

The guy seems like he might be retarded to some degree, and is older middle-aged, with largely whitening or greying hair and a stout midsection. He hit me up just a Sunday morning or two, so I wasn't about to fund his shameless bumming yet again.

Besides, I only had a nickle in change, and I wasn't about to part with a $5 bill.

I got my shopping done, but the largest handheld mirror is somewhat smaller than the one I had. However, it will definitely serve.

My brother was watching his T.V. news shows when I got back. Notwithstanding, I returned to my bedroom to dress down, and spend a small amount of time here at my bedside computer before going downstairs to join him just after 9 a.m.

He was quick to invite me to put our Android TV Boxes to work, so I used the T95Q Android 9 TV Box to tune in a 1¼-hour (1:15:46) video published yesterday to Rumble's MattEhret channel: Breaking Free of Psyops Ep. 3: How We Were Psyoped into the Cold War.

Anon my brother expressed that he was not enjoying the presenter's style, so into the 13-minute mark I tuned out. Maybe too much thought was involved for my brother, or it just was not the sort of history lesson he cared about.

All else we were to watch was Shetland ─ episodes one and two of season or series three.

My brother then returned to his bedroom for further bed rest, and I was to bed at some point after noon for an hour, napping.

By the way, my wife had a full workday today, and emerged from her bedroom shortly after 9:30 a.m. to shower and such, and left on her rather long and sunny drive after about a half hour.

With her absent, I was to have a light exercise session in her vacant bedroom just past 3 p.m. My brother had left around 2:30 p.m. to catch a bus and go social drinking.

I am going to take my blogging break now so I can watch three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer so I can have a few drinks. I will finish and publish the post later in the evening.

First up ─ along with a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) ─ was The Gifted. In this instance, episode nine ("gaMe changer") of season two. My source was at M4uFree.cx.

The show was done by 6:55 p.m.

I know that I keep saying each blog post that I intend to get to bed earlier than I ever seem to manage, but tomorrow I want to rise at 5 a.m. to have an extra hour to work on this Android TV Box dilemma. A factory reset of the R69 Plus Android 14 did absolutely nothing to restore its recognition of the Ethernet (internet) cable, and in the process I lost apps I had downloaded as well as certain tweaks I had made.

Well, since that is hopeless, tomorrow I am going to risk a factory reset of the T95Q Android 9 TV Box. It recognizes the Ethernet cable and functions fine in that regard; but it has lost all ability to allow downloading of apps, nor the unpacking of apks already within it. My desperate hope is that a factory reset will undo whatever it was that Google or Amazon rolled out earlier this year that first began uninstalling apps whenever I accepted an update ─ I lost at least five ─ and then blocked downloading any more.

I even uninstalled Play Store and related apps, operating the Box without any malware or virus protection.

But this all commenced earlier this year after operating without issue for at least a couple of years previously.

I have to rise extra early to do this work because Bev sits in the damned living room all bloody day long hogging the T.V. until she goes to bed at night ─ I can do nothing once my brother gets up in the morning.

Enough of that talk ─ I have to get in my evening T.V. shows and my drinking.

My second beer was devoted to The Alienist ─ episode four ("Gilded Cage") of season two. My source was at TVSeries.video.

The episode was engrossing enough, but the climax was bizarrely and unexpectedly dark.

I believed that I had heard my brother arrive home early into the episode, which was done by 8:13 p.m.

My final show was the most positively emotional for me. I am speaking of Superman & Lois ─ episode six ("Of Sound Mind") of season three. Again, my source was at TVSeries.video.

I was done (before episode's end) the 12 or so ounces of Vivo Reserva Chilean white wine (12½% alcohol) that I had poured into a glass, and the show itself was done by 9:08 p.m.

So to rate the shows this evening in order of my emotional preference, I would scale them in reverse sequence as watched. The Gifted was involving enough, but it was the weakest of the three shows. The Alienist was middling.

I must now brush my teeth and seek to be abed smartly, for right now it is 9:48 p.m., and I still have to perfect closure on all of the browsers and their tabs that I have open, for some require attention before dismissal.
