This is the story of sage steppe degradation, the greater sage grouse, native sage, and unprecedented environmental restoration program at Coyote Ridge Correctional Center in Connell, WA.

We look at the effects on the environment when humans move around the planet, and the prices we're paying for humanity's past mistakes. How horticulture in prison is saving money because it is reducing violence and recidivism.

Plus, find out how many pounds of food the Benton Franklin Juvenile Justice Center donated to the food bank from their garden last year.
