So my human found this blonde pigtail wig and decided to do a whole photo shoot around it! We already had all the elements — dresses, backdrop and props (from a UGC video we did), so it was easier to set up than it may look.

The red and white gingham dress was a natural!

And this woven cotton dress with the big skirt. My human says I look like I’m ready for a barn dance.

No wig, but we decided to pull out my cowboy hat and neckerchief too.

I will say, the hardest part of wearing this wig was keeping my ears tucked in! They are a little big to fit under it.

We had a rainy day, so did that mean no photos in the turret? Of course not! We waited until after dark, and my human set up a couple of lights.

And of course I had an outfit to wear, but my human couldn’t resist snapping a quick portrait.

First we pulled out my goth dress.

It took some adjusting to get the hat right.

So we finally got it right…

And my human snapped a close up before getting a completely different idea.

She put another black dress on me…only backwards, so it framed me.

Then she changed the angle slightly. Frankly, I think I look like a goth turkey! Tell me if you agree.

My August video compilation is up, and it was a very busy month! I had a lot of dressing up to do.

I had enough Paris Hilton pet dresses to have a whole fashion show at Club Meow.

I had two cat shows in August! One in Victorville and one in Glendale.

I really enjoyed all the social time. And I even had some playtime. You’ll get to see all this, and more, in the video compilation below. Let me know your favorite videos of mine!
 

It’s time for outtakes! And I have quite a few for you this week.

One of the hardest parts of doing photo sessions is trying to sit still! I tend to wander off pretty often.

I was clearly not a fan of that Churu Roll!

My human thought this photo of me curling my tongue was funny enough…but then she looked closer and realized I was looking at the tongue depressors!

Honestly, I wasn’t as excited to be at the vet clinic as I looked! I was just looking out the window and meowing.

Here I am, impatiently waiting for my human to adjust the camera exposure.

I thought you’d enjoy seeing a video of my visit to the vet clinic the other day!

While she didn’t get any video of my actual check up, or my visit with the front desk later, she did shoot a lot of me in the exam room. Including weighing me on the scale.

To be honest, I may have handled the visit well, but I was still glad to go home!
 

My human took me outside for some photos. Since the hot weather went away, it’s been really pleasant. First we stopped on these steps, and my human tried to find the best spot for the lighting.

Finally she figured out that if she shot from a different angle, I didn’t have to move.

I posed for a few portraits, and she decided she wanted to move me somewhere with a little more green in the background.

She decided on the rose bushes by the bridge because she liked the way the sun was coming through the leaves.

I had my annual veterinary check up. Actually, it was a few days late, because the clinic was booked up. But these are necessary, not just for my overall health but also so I can continue my therapy cat work.

Since it was quiet in the waiting room, with no dogs around, my human let me hang out on my leash.

Mostly I looked out the window. We didn’t have to wait that long.

While we waited for the tech and the vet, I got to check out the exam room.

They always have some interesting supplies. Including treats!

They had a new Churu treat I’d never seen before, so my human opened one up for me. I wasn’t sure what to think of it.

The tech took all my vitals. And this time, I got to have my temperature taken by ear, not the…other way. That was a relief! I weighed about 6.6 lbs., which is a couple ounces below what I usually weigh. So my human said I can have more treats.

The vet checked me out, including my eye freckle (it gets examined every visit). Everything looked good, and she said my teeth looked great. Which they should, since my human brushes them several times a week! The vet also filled out a form for my therapy cat organization, which my human sent over when we got home. So as soon as they log it in, I’ll be scheduling more therapy cat visits.

We all miss the peach kitty so much. So my human looked through our playlist of videos with him, and picked out some favorites for a compilation.

The first couple are earlier ones, when he was learning that it was okay to take a treat from my human’s hand. And then when he showed up when we came home after the Eaton Fire.

This visit was one of our nicest ones, and it was really popular.

And the video of him getting his own Easter basket was one of the most special.

I hope you enjoy the compilation! And I do have an announcement: my human is assembling a video that has his full story. It includes the first time we saw him, his siblings and mom in 2021, up until we had to let him go. It’s kind of a big project, but keep your paws crossed that we get it done in time for Remember Me Thursday.

My human’s boyfriend had a birthday! So she had some gifts to wrap. And of course, that required cat supervision. Fortunately, I was there to help. And since it was a birthday gift wrapping, I wore a party dress.

First we had to wrap this pillow. He gets headaches and his neck goes out of whack pretty often, so she thought a fancy pillow might help him.

That didn’t take too long! All it needs is more tape and the bow.

She also got him some sort of multipurpose ratchet set, since he’s always tinkering with something. I don’t think she has any idea what they are or what they do. Anyhow, we needed to wrap that too.

She wanted to make sure she didn’t misplace the bow so she put it somewhere handy.

And here are both presents, wrapped! He wound up liking both gifts, so my job here is done.
