In today’s exciting heliocentric heaven, let us focus on the harmonious splendour of the conjunction between Venus and Calliope in Taurus, the magnificent sign of vision and enlightenment. Venus, the lady of Golden Relationships, the Isis of our solar system, guardian of the Fifth Ray, that Light-bearing Intellect of Love that commensurately unites the Earth to the Sun and the personality to the Soul, harmonises with Calliope, “she who has a beautiful voice”, the mother of Orpheus, the inspirer of initiatory texts, the Muse of the art of speech and occult philosophy. Their celestial encounter urges us to the utmost commitment to deepen the art of constructing thought-forms and to master that sonorous wisdom, made up of metres, rhythms and songs, which allows us to transmute our nature and ascend to Heaven. The dazzling diamond shining in Space therefore calls us to nurture the awareness that enables us to intuit the world of Ideas, which is intimately related to that of forms, being its primary cause: this is one of our tasks in this year 2026, especially since for the TPS Sowing it resonates with the values of Ratio 6.5, identical to the aforementioned between Neptune and Venus.

We could say that all philosophy is the exploration of Ideas and testify that the purpose of this very blog, starting with the proto-Idea of Heaven, is aimed at their identification, penetration and irradiation: in this ocean of concepts, it therefore seems useful, for the sake of simplicity, to establish and set some cornerstones.

• According to Platonic teaching, as discussed in these pages in the Model Lambdoma, the Idea, in Greek idéa, is an oὐsía, “that which is in itself”, literally the present participle of the verb “to be”: an essence. If we consider that the Sanskrit word for “truth”, satya, comes from the same Indo-European root as the verb “to be”, *AS-/*ES-, it follows that an intrinsic characteristic of the Idea is that it is true.

When we examine the word itself, idea, we see that it expresses the motion of light: it derives from the Indo-European root *ID-, composed of the sounds “light [d] in motion [i]”, and is closely related to the root *DĪ-, which indicates the concept of divinity. Ancient derived languages bear witness to this relationship: the Sanskrit dī, “to shine”, the Greek dīos, which means both “heavenly” and “divine”, theós, “god”; the Latin dies, “day”, dius, “of the sky”, “luminous”, “divine”. [1]

In short, a pure etymological examination of the word reveals that the Idea is true, luminous, heavenly.

We thus rediscover in all its wonder the infinite gift that has been offered to humanity, namely to be able to intuit Ideas, which it can in turn offer for the common Good:

A passage from Agni Yoga suggests [2]:

[…] Comprehend the great gift of love to the One God.

Try to unfold the power of insight,

That you may perceive the future unity of mankind.

The one salvation is to turn the spirit toward the light of Truth. […]

Another definition of Idea, not strictly etymological but deeply evocative, is that it is the “Word of God” [3], and this statement is based on the fact that it consists of the Energy of Sound, “the first creative Agent of Space”, and Light, “the rhythmic motion of Fire” that reveals the work of the creating Sound. This definition has the power to suggest to us the echo of a universal language of Creation, of which Mantrika shakti, the “incarnate Word”, the spatial energy of Language that the Fourth human Hierarchy must express artfully, is a component.

• Intuition, which in the Synthesis Lambdoma is defined as “synthetic perception”, derives from the late Latin intuitio, from the classical verb intueor, “to look carefully”, “to contemplate”, composed of the prefix in-, “inside, towards”, and the verb tueor, “to look”, “to guard”, “to protect”: literally “to look inside penetratingly”, “to have a deep insight”. The root of the verb tueor is the Indo-European *TU-, in which two components can be recognised: [u] “intense motion”, [t] “between two points”, “to move with force”. From this etymology derive, for example, the Sanskrit tu, “to be strong”, and the Latin tutela, “protection”. [4]

When we human beings look deep within ourselves and recognise the divine, we are able to perceive that we are also made of the same substance as Ideas, and that therefore, by living their truth and beauty, we can learn to express and preserve their language.

It is a universal language that embraces all Kingdoms, for the simple reason that Divinity pervades every atom of life and therefore calls us to communion.

Traditional Teaching deepens what we already understand, illuminating the future with confidence: “[…] The intuition is in reality only the appreciation by the mind of some factor in creation, some law of manifestation and some aspect of truth, known by the soul, emanating from the world of ideas, and being of the nature of those energies which produce all that is known and seen. These truths are always present, and these laws are ever active, but only as the mind is trained and developed, focussed, and open-minded can they be recognized, later understood, and finally adjusted to the needs and demands of the cycle and time. […] The minds of the race are in process of training and many are hovering on the borders of a new knowledge. The intuition which guides all advanced thinkers into the newer fields of learning is but the forerunner of that omniscience which characterises the soul. […] Hitherto this has been a slow and piecemeal undertaking. Later, and before so very long, light will pour in, truth will be revealed and the race will enter upon its heritage—the heritage of the soul. […]” [5]

• The Fourth human Hierarchy pertains to the Buddhic Plane, that of Ideas, and ordinary Humanity must learn to recognise its qualities, using the substance of the lower levels of which it is composed – mental, astral, physical-etheric – to express its higher nature and be aware of its spiritual heritage: this is the path of the disciple. Here too, the etymology is illuminating: the Latin term discipulus, “pupil”, derives from disco, “to learn”, originating from the Indo-European root *DIŚ-, composed of three sound elements: ‘to connect [ś] to the continuous motion [i] of light [ś] [6]. It is striking to find the root *DĪ-/*ID- of Idea in this word as well.

This passage from Agni Yoga comes to mind: : […] Initiation is daring to approach the Image of Light and not fearing to look at It. […] [7].

The trained mind, increasingly aware of its ability to deploy its powers of abstraction, is thus able to project itself into the world of Ideas, transcending the level of the concrete mind, which is necessary to discriminate in the world of forms: thus, the synthesis between Love and Intelligence is achieved.

• The etymosophical perspective from which we look at the heavens today prompts us to associate the expression “intuiting ideas” with the word “faith”, which is unusual, but is based on the concept that faith is interpreted not as a blind afflatus, but as an elevation of thought or of the abstract mind to grasp the world of the soul. In any case, this is an affinity of concepts, presented for the purpose of exploring them in greater depth, and certainly not a substitution of meaning. The association arises precisely from the similarity between the etymology of “idea” and that of “faith”.

In fact, “faith” derives from the Indo-European root *DHĪ -, very similar to that of “idea”, *ID/*DĪ- , and is composed of the following sounds: “continuous [ī] movement [h] of light [d]”, “to think”, “to think in harmony with divine light”, “to be devout”, “to have faith”. From this etymology come the Sanskrit terms dhī, “religious thought”, “meditation”; the Greek theoría, “observation”; and the Latin fiducia, “trust”. [8]

Among the various passages from Agni Yoga that we consulted to verify this perspective, the following seemed one of the most significant:

How is it possible to ascertain the verity of the Teaching?  […] One should not believe only in assertions. Faith is the realization of Truth, tempered in the fire of the heart. […] [9]: here it is suggested a synthesis between Intellect and Love, between a loving mind and a thinking heart.

On the path of discipleship, we are guided, as expressed at the beginning of this reflection, by our Elder Brothers, the Luminaries: today, in the initiatory substance of the Sign of Aries, Homeland of Ideas, Neptune’s impulse towards abstract idealism and universal communion is combined with Venus’s intelligence, which multiplies forms; this union is sealed by Mercury, in his capacity as esoteric Ruler of Aries, the Messenger of the Gods, intermediary between soul and personality, Lord of the Fourth Ray, of Harmony through conflict, and Vulcan, guardian of the Will, whose energy is further enhanced by the transit in this Sign governed by the First and Seventh Rays, connected to Will and Order, calling us to exercise the will to think with the heart.

Tomorrow, the conjunction of Venus with Saturn, the great Light of the Third Ray, of Creative Intelligence, offers a celestial device of sublime and omnipotent creative power, on which depend the processes of birth and growth of all forms, of whatever level and world, [10] giving a further powerful impulse to the processes of ideation.

The Sun in Pisces, where the Second Ray is dominant, fills Space with saving energy, helping to enhance during these two days the Energies of the entire rainbow of the seven Rays, from the First to the Seventh, as a bridge between the World of Ideas and the other planes of being.

And so, feeling guided by the Elder Brothers and deeply aware of being “One, in communion” with all those who feel the responsibility to elevate the mind to open new paths, working lovingly and creatively for the common Good, seeking the Truth and listening to the “Words of God”, grateful for the spiritual heritage and creative faculty we have received, let us send together in Space, with solemnity, resonance and joy, today and tomorrow, the related formulas set out in this year’s Ephemerides:

The celestial banners that support the Master’s urgent appeal today are named Saturn and Neptune.
The earthly gaze (geocentric vision), in fact, today turns primarily to the powerful conjunction (1) between the Lord of creative Intelligence, Saturn, and the Lord of Communion, Neptune, at 1° Aries, the shining Homeland of Ideas and the promoter of every Beginning.
According to Esoteric Astrology, Saturn and Neptune are the two esoteric and hierarchical Rulers of the cardinal Axis Capricorn–Cancer, Gates of Gods and Men: They therefore distribute the initiatory power of the spiritual Summit/Light to illuminate the Valley/Matter from this First Direction and electric Source of Evolution (1^st degree of Aries, Sign connected to the Star/Rishi Merak in the Great Bear, Prototype and cosmic Source of the 1^st Ray of Will-Power).

The peculiarity of Aries lies precisely in providing the initial impulse, that impulse where the idea of starting any activity finds its cradle and its incentive. The creative drive that Aries sets in motion, and which produces a similar movement in the zodiacal circle, has its deep origins in the World of Causes; Aries, in fact, is “… the birthplace of ideas, and a true idea is in reality a spiritual impulse taking form—subjective and objective.” (A. A. Bailey, Esoteric Astrology, p. 92)
Aries is therefore the zodiacal vector of this ardent vital impulse; it represents the power that finds expression in the great creative process; through it, the will to do and the ability to create are acquired; through it, Humanity can now turn to a new beginning full of still immaculate energy and p otential; through it, Humanity can finally contemplate the world of Ideas in order to draw the energy necessary to fertilize every future beginning, while at the same time stimulating those initiatory processes that were anchored in the human soul at the December Solstice in Capricorn.
The effects produced and firmly imprinted in the spatial substance by the last heliocentric conjunc-tion (2) of the two Luminaries in Aries are now conquered and stabilized in form, allowing the incessant pull of the Magnet, the One, to be exercised with ever greater power and incisiveness on the whole of Humanity.
“New circumstances require new flights.” (The Call § 198), as the Teaching reminds us.
The Saturn-Neptune conjunction therefore urges us to ‘learn to fly’ in the skies of the higher mind and from there govern every beginning, letting go of rigidity, separateness and illusion in order to advance on the path, both individual and planetary, with the clarity that Mercury, as the esoteric Ruler of Aries, instills in the minds, leading them to the threshold of the buddhic world where Uranus, the Initiator, hierarchical Ruler of Aries, finally consecrates them to Mastery.
Humanity, urged and supported by the invisible but powerful work of the Hierarchy, is thus set on its way to the place of the Fiery Communion, that plane where ‘group consciousness’ prevails and which represents the goal on this present turn of the spiraling evolutionary journey: “I am summoning the wise ones. New and useful ones will gather. And the tree of unity will flourish.” (The Call § 304)

The unfolding of the compound cycles (3) of Saturn and Neptune offers opportunities from time to time for the expansion of inner vision; their meeting today (4) sows in space the creative force of Ideation, the psychic activity that orders the individual acts of thought (Saturn) in the light, and the balm of Ideality, the impetus that leads to the immaterial dimension of existence, to the Vision of Reality (Neptune).
The combined energies of the 3^rd and 6^th Rays, radiated by the two Luminaries, reaffirm the need for a wise and collaborative Humanity that knows how to build the new according to golden principles and how to set its goal in the triumph of Communion. “It is necessary to oppose the destroyers with the power of creation. Learn how to summon new ones to the building. Perform thus your labor for unification.” (The Call § 358)

As already highlighted in these pages, the celestial chart of these times also shows the luminous triangle whose vertices are, in addition to the Saturn-Neptune pairing acting as the central pivot, Pluto in the early degrees of Aquarius and Uranus, geocentrically still transiting between the end of Taurus and the beginning of Gemini.
Pluto, in accordance with its 1^st Ray nature, in Aquarius cleanses of the debris (5) caused by the long period of destructuring in Capricorn, while Uranus, which in its seven-year stationing in Taurus promoted the unveiling of the Beauty and Essence hidden in the depths of Matter, now reaches out towards the substance of Gemini where Mercury, this time as the exoteric Ruler of the Sign, accelerates the processes of understanding and fusion (assisted by Gemini, which conveys the 2^nd Ray), while at the same time activating the golden action of Venus, the esoteric Ruler of Gemini, which permeates the planetary space with the constructive and comprehensive force of the Intellect of Love.

The planetary Temple that Humanity is erecting thus sees its ‘pediment’ in place, on which the word that will be the seal of the future, ‘Brotherhood’, gradually emerges with increasingly clear and distinct characters.

New ones will manifest themselves in action.
They will reveal the shield of Beauty,
And, full of love, will open the doors to those who knock.
The earth will sink beneath the feet of the blind,
And the deaf will be destroyed.
I am sending a living spring to bathe your eyes and ears.
And the Miracle will be manifested,
And a Bridge of Beauty will lead you on your new path.

1. From a geocentric perspective, the conjunction between Saturn and Neptune began in the spring of 2025 (Neptune entered Aries in March 2025, followed by Saturn in May). Due to the retrograde phases of the two planets, the conjunction continues until today’s peak date, after which the separation phase of the two planets will begin.

2. From a heliocentric point of view, the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune in Aries took place on December 11, 2025.

3. The compound cycle between Saturn and Neptune lasts about 36 years. The previous conjunction took place in the spring of 1989 in Capricorn (fall of the Berlin Wall!), the next will be in the summer of 2061 in Gemini.

4. The conjunction of Saturn and Neptune at 1° Aries is unprecedented in recent times. We have to go back to 593 BC to find the conjunction of the two Luminaries at 2° Aries; that’s the closest date to the present, a period that preceded the vibrant intellectual fervor in which the foundations of Western and Eastern philosophy and culture were laid by figures such as Pythagoras and the pre-Socratic philosophers, Gautama Buddha and Lao Tzu. In the Christian era, the most recent conjunction, although at 11° Aries, occurred in 1703.

5. In this regard, let us recall that Hercules’ labor linked to the Sign of Aquarius involves cleaning the stables of King Augeas from the filth that had accumulated over many years of neglect. Hercules accomplishes this feat by diverting two rivers into the stables so that the powerful flow of water sweeps away all the waste. Symbolically, this labor concerns the action of cleaning up the world, giving the right direction to the forces of life operating in it; by removing barriers (mental, emotional, physical), the free flow of the Water of Life that springs incessantly from the jug of Aquarius is allowed.

Atma-Buddhi-Manas:
Will-Love-Intelligence
or spiritual will, intuition and higher mind.* 

We wish to assert them as the foundations of the Science of the Union, as the essential Energies of the Work of Building a Hierarchical One Humanity.

And today it is the turn of ATMA, the First Energy of Life, the “universal Soul”, celebrated in resonance with the ecliptic Direction Sun-Earth-Merak/GREAT BEAR (8 February) and, exceptionally, with the rare heliocentric Direction (every 84 years) between Uranus and the star Alcyone of the PLEIADES (9 February), the pivot according to Esoteric Astrology of our cosmic System of Seven solar Systems.**

These Directions and Dates attest to a powerful time, both for planetary and solar Consciousness, a resonance with these cosmic atmic Prototypes that reverberates down to the physical (= astronomical) level.

Merak is the First Rishi of the Great Bear, the Source of the 1^st Ray of Will-Power for our solar System through the First Constellation Aries; the sevenfold Energy of the Great Bear, via Aries-Libra and Sun/Vulcan, is focused on the planet in the Head Centre Shamballa: it is the impulse of abstraction that initiates to Being. And the first Luminary that transmits the initiatory Fire of Aries to planetary consciousness is Uranus, the Seventh planetary Logos but First Pattern of Synthesis. [1]

The Most High and the Abyssal are One along this Direction of Power.

And Merak, together with Dubhe of the Great Bear, point to the North Star of the Little Bear, the current guiding Source of our Planet.

Ursa Major, Merak, Dubhe, Polaris, Aries, spiritual central Sun, Uranus, Vulcan, Shamballa…: all Agents of the 1^st Ray; all Head (or directive) Centres: Agents of transmission of ATMA.

The cosmic Will and the impulse of Life/ATMA of the Seven cosmic Rays reaches our solar System (and the other six Suns of our cosmic System) from this marvellous Chariot of the Great Bear, which drives and pulls our local universe together with the other two celestial Chariots of the Great Cosmic Man:

“The seven stars of the Great Bear or Ursa Major are involved in an intricate relation with Ursa Minor and the Pleiades… This major triplicity of constellations has a peculiar relation to that Great Being to Whom I have at times referred as the One About Whom Naught Can Be Said. All that can be hinted at is that these three galaxies of stars are the three aspects of that Indescribable, Absolute Monad, the Ineffable Cause of the seven solar systems—of which ours is one.” (Esoteric Astrology, 607-8).

It cannot be merely a figment of human imagination that all three Constellations underlying the “three aspects of the absolute Monad” (Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Pleiades) have “inspired” the shape of the “Chariot”, i.e. a vehicle or driving force, of “cosmic traction”.

In this sense, it is revealing and noteworthy that the two Bears trace the symbol of the swastika, the polar helix of Life, in Space, in the 4 heavens of the 4 discontinui-ties of the Cycle of revolution of each Planet: the two Chariots, like the blades of the Wheel of Life, stir the Summit, distributing the vital energy of the higher occult Centre – the North Pole of the solar Ecliptic burning between the coils of the Dragon.

“Three of the energies [Great Bear–Sirius–Pleiades] work through the head centre but only after the third initiation.” (EA, 23-4)

“The seven stars in the constellation of the Great Bear are the correspon-dences to the seven head centres in the body of that Being, greater than our Logos. Again, two other systems, when allied with the solar system and the Pleiades, make a lower quaternary which are eventually synthesised into the seven head centres in much the same way as in the human being after the fourth initiation.

… The sevenfold head centre [Seven stars of the Great Bear] in its turn finds ultimate expression in the gorgeous twofold centre above the top of the head and surrounding it. Equally so, beyond the above named constellations is still another cosmic centre.” (A Treatise on Cosmic Fire, 182-3)

The Seven Rishis of the Great Bear are the Head Centre of the Great Cosmic Man, they “push forward and beyond” the entire manifestation and evolution of the Seven solar Logoi, they are the Great Chariot of the Seven Rays that pulls the plough of Life from the North (septentrional comes from septem triones = seven oxen):

“CHITRA SIKKANDINAS (Sk.). The constellation of the great Bear; the habitat of the seven Rishis (Sapta-Riksha). Lit., “bright-crested”.” (Theosophical Glossary)

The evidence of the seven Stars of the Big Dipper is near the celestial Dwelling of the Poles, the area that includes the Little Dipper (the current planetary pole), the Dragon (the solar north pole) and the North Pole of the Galaxy, the Head Centre of our universe.

The Great Bear is therefore the control centre for this part of the galaxy; it is the sevenfold Will of the First Father Aspect.

With regard to the Evolution of Consciousness (Son Aspect), it is the First Sign, Aries, at the solar level, that holds within itself this initiatory and initiating Power of the celestial Bears, exercised through the Law of Libra, “the open gate to Shamballa”.

It is also revealing that this dynamic and electric Sun-Earth-Merak alignment (8 February) occurs for us ‘within the time’ of the Sign of Aquarius (19 January-18 February), i.e. on the Aquarius–Leo axis, because:

“Aquarius expresses the universal consciousness of the Great Bear… synthesis or universal fusion”: ATMA. (EA, 349).

The Synthesis of Being, the divine Life-Will Aspect, ATMA, is neither knowable nor expressible before a certain high initiation, since in the current 2^nd solar System the loftiest goal is the power of Love, that sacrifice/sacrum facere (making sacred), or sacrum esse (being sacred), which sanctifies Matter according to the will-to-good of the Spirit. ‘Currently’, therefore, Buddhi-Love/Wisdom is the ‘electric fire’ (1^st Fire) that “is found in the nucleus of every atom”; but Buddhi is the 2^nd Aspect, ‘solar Fire’, with respect to the dynamic Fire of Atma-Will (1^st aspect), which cannot manifest itself except through Buddhi, just as Buddhi cannot manifest itself to man except through Manas (the 3^rd aspect, the Mind).

ATMA, “the plane of the spirit”, is therefore the highest mystery and principle for human beings, that Will which is what it wants, without time or distance, through identification and identity between Essences, very different from its human refraction, emotional desire, connected to what it desires by a tension, a space, an attraction.

In this year dedicated to Goal 6.5 Communion of Work – The Book of the System, a new chapter is opening up for us World Servers.

Today*, the two Luminaries of 1^st Ray, Pluto and Vulcan, are conjunct in the sign of Aquarius, and Mars, Luminary of the 6^th Ray, joins them, thus propelling the following energies:

– unity between Will, Force and Power.

Pluto, united with Vulcan and Mars, disintegrates forms in order to spiritualise them, and the essence is freer to fecundate consciousnesses. The Will for renewal is aimed at creating the conditions that allow us to build the new lines of the future, of a New Culture and Civilisation, for which we human beings are also responsible and architects.

Be imbued with strength!

In Aquarius, we are invited to abandon ‘individual consciousness’ and strive towards ‘group consciousness’, to attain the consciousness of divine sonship common to every human being and every kingdom of nature, which will enable the progressive materialisation in the future of Right Relationships, of Brotherhood. “… Aquarius is the coming expression of the group consciousness which is the first and immediate revelation of the ever present Christ consciousness on a large scale in humanity.” (A. A. Bailey, The Externalisation of the Hierarchy, p. 155)

As disciples, we are invited to “tend the evolution of the fire; nourish the lesser lives, and thus keep the wheel revolving.

Here comes an injunction to the disciple to remember his responsibility to those many lesser lives which, in their sumtotal, compose his triple body of manifestation. Thus is evolution possible, and thus each life, in the different kingdoms of nature, consciously or unconsciously, fulfils its function of rightly energising that which is to it as is the planet to the sun. Thus will the unfolding of the plan logoic proceed with greater accuracy. The kingdom of God is within, and the duty of that inner hidden Ruler is twofold, first, to the lives which form the bodies, physical, astral, and mental, and then to the macrocosm, the world of which the microcosm is but an infinitesimal part.” (A. Thus, together – as One Humanity, agent of the Hierarchy – let’s light the fires of consciousness!

“Thus, upon the principle of Fire the world is regenerated. The fire of the centers, the fire of the spirit, the fire of the heart, the fire of achievement, the fire of attainment, the fire of Hierarchy, the fire of Service—these constitute the principles of the New World. The blended arcs of consciousnesses thus create the Highest Will. Verily, the great Banner of Peace will cover the entire world. Verily, a great time, the time of great fulfillments. The expression “Nothing new under the sun” (1), originally a biblical verse and now commonly used in everyday speech, emphasises how the empty vanity of earthly things, which repeat themselves unchanged over the centuries, contrasts with the creative power of divine action, capable of “making all things new” (2).
The renewal inherent in divine creation does not only have an eschatological function, i.e. it does not only affect the future (the end of time), but also deeply pervades the present life, urging Humanity to embody in action the work of the new that stirs in their consciousnesses.
“The new is difficult, and the old unsuitable” (3), says the Teaching, and this feeling is supported and fuelled by the evidence that day after day shows a Humanity not yet sufficiently capable of grasping the Ideas that could lead it on the path of Unity, Brotherhood and Harmony.
On Earth, we just see the succession of effects, often distorted and opaque, of what happens in the Heavens, of the luminous and pulsating interweaving of Ideas and energies radiated by Luminaries, asteroids and stars (4), the agents of the supernal will.
However, in this slice of century, Humanity seems to become more aware of the need for an inner change that can manifest itself in forms adequate to a New Culture and Civilisation.
“Cosmic union will direct all creative forces in the future; this is the principle upon which the new manifested world will be founded.” (5)

In the Heavens, and by reflection also on Earth, the power of the 7^th Ray ascends. Uranus, the ‘occult and mysterious planet’, vehicle of the 7^th Ray in the Solar System, and from today, according to the heliocentric perspective, immersed in the magnetic substance of Gemini, launches its light of renewing will into space, as the Teaching reminds us, “When Uranus strains the rays, a new step is affirmed.” (6)
“The seventh ray” – emphasises the Tibetan Master – “is, in the last analysis, the focussed differentiated energy of Ray One as it expresses the will of the first aspect of divinity on earth through the power to relate and bring into objective manifestation—by an act of the will—both spirit and matter.” (7)
The Luminary uses this propulsive energy as the foundation for the new that gradually takes shape and as a tool for fusion between the highest and the abyssal: “The Angel of the Presence lifts one hand into the blue of heaven. He plunges deep the other into the sea of forms. Thus he connects the world of form and formless life. Heaven to earth he brings; earth into heaven.” (8)
And on the ‘flag’ of the Earth, the purpose and means of this change appear ever more clearly: “It has been decreed to acquaint the nations with the New Word of Love.” (9) And it is precisely Love, the sweet command, that must make room in hearts and minds in order to engrave there the letters of the alphabet of renewal (10), which must take root in every person so that each one becomes a page in the book of the One Life.
“Under My Banners will I assemble new followers” (11), affirms Agni Yoga; men capable of looking at Heaven with loving eyes and penetrating beyond the thick layers of fog and illusions to reach the fiery World of Ideas, the forge of the new and the engine of evolution.
The shift from an egocentric and separatist vision, such as that which currently pervades humanity’s actions, to a collaborative and unified vision, based on the transition from knowledge to wisdom and from the value attributed to ephemeral forms to the imperishable values of the spirit, is the heavenly gift of Uranus, who “… causes the great transference in the human consciousness from intellectual perception to intuitive knowledge.” (12)

To this pulling and ordering energy, which permeates Space and reverberates on Earth, causing chaos and disorder for the moment and harmony and perfection in the future, responds the rising (from 2025) of the 4^th Ray.
Its harmonising force, focused and then diffused by Mercury, the celestial Intermediary, will bring forth from the unripe conflicts of becoming the imperishable and unifying Beauty of Being: “Harmony is restored and the beauty of the Lord of Love shines forth. Such is the Plan. Thus is the Whole revealed. The higher and the lower meet; form and the formless merge and blend, and know themselves as one.” (13)
“It must never be forgotten” – the Tibetan Master reminds us – “that this fourth ray of conflict is the ray whose energies, rightly applied and understood, bring about harmony and at-one-ment. The result of this harmonising activity is beauty, but it is a beauty that is achieved through struggle. This produces a livingness through death, a harmony through strife, a Union through diversity and adversity.” (14)
The emergence of Beauty, and its subsequent recognition by humankind, will therefore be the sign that the new has taken root in people’s consciousness and is beginning to produce formal effects; Beauty will manifest itself as the magnetic centre of all creative work and as the product of the intense harmonisation between old and new Ideas, avoiding divisions and ruptures, but rather making transparent and luminous the process that leads from the past to the new Era.
Such is the destiny of Humanity because “… this fourth ray is preeminently the ray of the fourth Creative Hierarchy, the human kingdom, and therefore has a peculiar relation to the functions, relationships and the service of man, as an intermediate group, a bridging group, upon our planet. The function of this intermediate group is to embody a type of energy, which is that of at-one-ment. This is essentially a healing force which brings all forms to an ultimate perfection through the power of the indwelling life, with which it becomes perfectly atoned.” (15)

Uranus and Mercury work in perfect harmony because the Rays they convey, each in its own way, work to unite spirit and matter on both an individual and collective level: ”Uranus and Mercury in combination are dualities which the disciple learns to resolve and in the process of this resolution he shifts his focus out of the human kingdom into the fifth kingdom, the Hierarchy of souls.” (16)
“The union between the Four and Seven marks the completion of a work of beauty, shining with the regular correctness of its form of infinite content.” (17)
This harmony of intent also resonates on Earth in the Call for Unity, for that fusion of inner energies, at various levels, which is the sign of the long-awaited renewal. “Uranus … initiates a new order of life and conditions and this—when developed in the life of the disciple—in its turn produces an understanding of the causes of things as they are, and the desire to change the old order and the old orientation into the new.” (18)
The energetic intertwining of the 7^th and 4^th Rays is complemented by the golden force of the 5^th Ray, conveyed by Aquarius, the constellation rising on the Earth’s horizon, which will provide the backdrop for the incipient externalisation of the Hierarchy and the return of the Master of Love, the Christ.
The dominant notes of the coming New Age (i.e., the thought forms that will concern Life and not form) will be Love for Humanity, conscious Service free from expectations, a lucid and ‘scientific’ vision of what lies behind phenomenal appearances, and Right relationships that will lead to the construction of planetary group consciousness: “In the New Age, which is upon us, all true work is group work, with the individual subordinated to the group good.” (19)

And if, therefore, the call for Unity, Service and Brotherhood resounds ever more urgently in the Heavens, on Earth, beyond what appears, the seed of Communion sprouts with confidence and tenacity, and the foundations are laid for working together towards a common goal and for building new, ever more perfect and harmonious forms through which the divine will can express itself fully and bring about “a new heaven and a new earth”. (20)
“When … the influence of Uranus is added to the other influences and the seventh ray is at the same time entering into a major cycle of activity on the Earth, there is then present the energy needed to precipitate the crisis of initiation and produce a great rhythmic awakening.” (21)
For thousands of years, the advanced consciousnesses of the planet have pointed to these goals for Humanity, but it is especially at this moment that the combined force of the two Ray energies is pushing every consciousness towards a radical change of course, towards a renewed, profound approach to life and its values, towards a conscious and responsible reply to the essence of what can be called ‘Man’.

“A new day dawns over the earth.
The present hour is not a stream but a vortex.
Each personal world reflects the flaming sky aglow
with the Fire that devours old forms.
The Wisdom of the Creator prophesies a New World.
By fiery destruction He creates.
And can we, the witnesses, realizing the Great Design,
count ourselves afflicted?
The deaf and the blind, and the many sedentary ones,
are only bystanders.
The Creator cometh!”

4. These early days of 2026 are marked by numerous celestial appeals (from a heliocentric perspective), all aimed at bringing about renewal in the consciousness of humanity. Uranus at the beginning of Gemini is in conjunction with the asteroid Clio, sextile to Saturn and Neptune in Aries and trine to Pluto in Aquarius. A perfect circulation of fluid and constructive energies that invoke renewal, tension towards the World of Causes and a clear vision of the new that is advancing. The Earth is in Cancer opposite Mars and Venus, which are in Capricorn: the two Luminaries, bearers of the energies that innervate the Goal of the year, 6.5 Communion of Work. The sweet song of the Muses brings to light in all its splendour those aspects of manifestation that are most in need of renewal and call for the emergence of wise, enlightened and harmonious communities.

In addition to the aspects already listed, our Earth is in conjunction with Jupiter (considered, together with Uranus, the ‘planet of beneficial fulfilment’), the vehicle of the 2^nd Ray of Love and Wisdom. the Triad of Will-Love-Intelligence
or, in Sanskrit, Atma-Buddhi-Manas.

We want to assert them as the foundations of the Science of Union, of the Aquarian common work, and beyond: the Construction of a Hierarchical One Humanity, the central link of Brotherhood; that universal Brotherhood which is the eternal Symbol of the essential Unity of the worlds and of all beings, beyond all size, distance or time.

Let us therefore celebrate Atma-Buddhi-Manas on the three annual Dates or Directions between the Sun–Earth (the Soul–Personality relationship) and the Stars of the three “intimate constellations” indicated as their primary cosmic Sources (Monad) for our solar system:

– BUDDHI: Sun-Earth-SIRIUS Alignment (4 January)

– ATMA: Sun-Earth-Merak/GREAT BEAR Alignment (8 February)

– MANAS: Sun-Earth-Alcyone/PLEIADES (22 November)

“Like the planetary atom, the solar atom not only rotates on its axis but likewise spirals in a cyclic fashion through the Heavens. This is a different activity to the drift or progressive dynamic motion through the Heavens. It deals with the revolution of our Sun around a central point [1] and with its relation to the three constellations so oft referred to in this Treatise:

The Great Bear.
The Pleiades.
The Sun Sirius.

These three groups of solar bodies are of paramount influence where the spiral cyclic activity of our system is concerned. Just as in the human atom the spiral cyclic activity [the evolution of consciousness] is egoic and controlled from the egoic body, so in connection with the solar system these three groups are related to the logoic Spiritual Triad, atma-buddhi-manas [will-love-intelligence], and their influence is dominant in connection with solar incarnation, with solar evolution, and with solar progress.

Further, it must be added that the third type of motion to which our system is subjected [in addition to rotation on its axis and spiral revolution/evolution], that of progress onward, is the result of the united activity of the seven constellations (our solar system forming one of the seven) which form the seven centres of the cosmic Logos. This united activity produces a uniform and steady push (if it might so be expressed) toward a point in the heavens unknown as yet to even the planetary Logoi.” [2]

Today it is the turn of SIRIUS, the cosmic Source of the Second Aspect BUDDHI united with the Third, MANAS.

Sirius, the cosmic Source of Buddhi/Manas

Around 4 January each year, the Earth is at the centre between the Sun and Sirius, which, along this initiatory Direction qualified for planetary evolution by the signs Capricorn–Cancer, emit a vital impulse, sacred to the Return of the supernal Light, to the Construction of a common Home or Consciousness illuminated by spiritual Love.

In particular, this year, a stellium of other solar Centres exceptionally enhances this heliocentric alignment of Sun-Earth-Sirius: the Luminaries Venus (Fifth Ray of Mind and Knowledge) and Mars (Sixth Ray of abstract Idealism and Devotion) at the Summit, opposite the wide conjunction between Earth and the solar Christ Jupiter (Second Ray of Love-Wisdom) in the Valley (at the bottom).

Fiery Mars is exalted or at its maximum power in Capricorn, and Venus is its hierarchical ruler: Venus is the Isis-Sirius of the solar Hierarchy, conveys Buddhi-Manas and is the higher Ego or solar Angel of the Earth: [3]

Today, in a unique and culminating manner, the Formulas of the current quarter of the cycle are inscribed in the Heaven of the Heart:

Let us assert them and radiate them throughout this proportion of Hearts, penetrating other indications from the Teaching:

“Our [phisical] sun is the embodiment of the heart, or love aspect, of the [solar] Logos (Who is Himself the heart of One about whom naught may be said)… our Logos loses not His identity, even though He forms part of the Consciousness of the Logos of Sirius. In His turn, the Sirian Logos forms one of the seven Grand Heavenly Men, who are the centres in the body of ONE OF WHOM NOUGHT MAY BE SAID.” (TCF, 156 and 572)

By identifying our SOLAR LOGOS with SIRIUS in terms of Ray and Function, it is possible that They constitute the Heart Centre of 2^nd Ray of the Great Cosmic Man (GCM), while remaining distinct Entities from the point of view of consciousness and appearance, but not of Principle: fiery points placed along the same equitonal or harmonic direction, the Way of the Heart.

The cosmic Logos SIRIUS is referred to both as the Source of cosmic Manas (corresponding at the systemic level to the 5^th plane of the human Soul or egoic Groups and causal bodies) and of cosmic Buddhi (the 4^th plane of the spiritual Soul). In other passages of the Teaching, Sirius is referred to as the Prototype of our Sun (and of the other six solar systems?), analogous to the higher Ego for man, or to the Monad for spiritual Man (Ego-Soul). SIRIUS is, in essence, the Second Aspect of the higher Triad of our solar Logos (Ursa Major being the 1^st and the Pleiades the 3^rd); it is the gateway for our solar Logos, Twelve-petalled Heart, towards the higher Three.

In the text The Order of Orion (only available in Italian at the moment), it is hypothesised that the trail of Magnets formed by our solar Logos, Sirius and ORION – a marvellous Entity and Constellation that gives its Name to the galactic arm to which we belong – constitutes the Triad referred to by the Egyptians as Horus-Isis-Osiris, which reflects and veils the GALACTIC HEART in our local universe, along the river of the MILKY WAY.

SIRIUS, the cosmic Isis and Venus, is the cosmic Fire that caused the involution or ‘incarnation’ of our Sun, just as it drives its evolution towards the full realisation of the Second divine Ray, under the impetus of the 3 Chariots (Ursa Major and Minor, Pleiades) and of Her Consort Orion.

It is cosmic Light and Love in action.
It is our universal Magnet and Motive.

“This great Sun [Sirius], which is to our solar Logos what the Monad is to the spiritual man [the Soul], has a peculiar part to play where our Earth [Persona] is concerned. It might be considered by those with a sound sense of occult proportion that our tiny planet with its planetary Logos (one of the “imperfect Gods” of The Secret Doctrine) would be too small to enter in the slightest way into the consciousness of that Supreme Illumined Entity Who is greater even than our Solar Logos. Such, however, is the case. There is a relationship of very ancient date between our Lord of the World, Sanat Kumara, and the Lord of Sirius, and this exists in spite of the fact that our planet is not a sacred planet. It might be added that our planet is… rapidly passing out of this category, and on the inner planes and subjectively considered is a sacred planet; [that is, already able to express its 2^nd R. of Soul on the causal levels, and no longer just the 3^rd of the Personality]; … the great White Lodge on Sirius is the spiritual prototype of the great White Lodge on Earth [EA, 350]…
… A stream of energy coming from the sun, Sirius… enters directly into the Hierarchy and carries with it the principle of buddhi, of cosmic love.  This, in a mysterious way, is the principle found at the heart of every atom. (Rays and the Initiation, 414-5)

Sirius is the Magnet of cosmic Love (a manasic Love for the present level of evolution of the solar Logos), it is the Heart of hearts, and Her Lord is closely connected to Sanat Kumara, the current Personality of our planetary Logos, the 12-petalled golden Lotus.

On a cosmic or monadic level, Sirius presides over Leo (the Sign ruled by the Sun for human evolution): it is the electrical Source (Buddhi manifesting Atma) of the second type of Fire, the solar Fire, focused in the Heart of the Sun (the solar Lotus on the cosmic manasic plane) and expressed ‘locally’ by the physical Sun. Sirius is literally our Sun of suns, our cosmic Lion of Will-to-Good.

“Later, when the new world religion is founded and is working, we shall find that the major, monthly festival in August, held at the time of the full moon, will be dedicated to the task of making contact, via the Hierarchy, with Sirian force. Each of the months of the year will later be dedicated (through accurate astrological and astronomical knowledge) to whichever constellation in the heavens governs a particular month, as Sirius governs Leo.” (Esoteric Astrology, 299) 

On the astronomical level (that of Appearance), joining in a triangle the Sirius–Orion’s Belt–Taurus/Pleiades axis with the Great Bear at the top, the galactic anticenter emerges inside (red circle in the figure), around which Gemini, Auriga and the ‘arm’ of Orion the Hunter preside.

The cosmic spiritual Triad that guards the galactic anticenter on one side and the galactic Heart on the other: what a supermundane wonder are the signatures of Heaven!

Also in relation to the solar or egoic Plane of the Ecliptic, Sirius is intimately connected to the 2^nd Aspect, particularly through Gemini, the “head” of the cosmic Christ: Gemini is the point of entry, in the 12-sign Zodiac of the evolution of consciousness, for the intelligent cosmic Love/loving cosmic Intelligence coming from Sirius.

The presence of Sirius is in fact all-pervading in the Lotus of the Zodiac, a sort of Heart in the Head (Will-to-Good) guiding the Plan of evolution of solar Consciousness:

• it presides over Leo from a cosmic point of view,
• it distributes cosmic Love in the solar and planetary System through Gemini and the Hierarchy,
• it reaches every heart and the Hierarchy through Pisces and the planet Uranus (EA, 444),
• through the Capricorn-Cancer axis and the planet Saturn, it stimulates sensitivity and the Probationary Path in humanity, exercising this cosmic Traction especially at the time of the solstices,
• is the “brilliant Star of Sensitivity” that dominates the Fourth human Hierarchy through Scorpio and the Fixed Cross, and is “the Star of Mercury and the Buddha” that prepares humanity for the first three initiations:

“Scorpio is under the influence or inflowing energy of Sirius. This is the great star of initiation because our Hierarchy (an expression of the second aspect of divinity) is under the supervision or spiritual magnetic control of the Hierarchy of Sirius. These are the major controlling influences whereby the cosmic Christ works upon the Christ principle in the solar system, in the planet, in man and in the lower forms of life expression. It is esoterically called the ‘brilliant star of sensitivity’.” (EA, 197)

In the Egyptian Olympus, the Sun of suns is the progenitor of all the gods and goddesses of our “local” Firmament, with a receptive function (Isis) with respect to Orion (Osiris), as well as reuniting all his “lost parts”. Once reunited, Osiris returns to fertility with Isis, who then assumes the role of Great Mother. But he is also the Initiator to the Mysteries and God of Wisdom:

“SIRIUS (Gr.). In Egyptian, Sothis. The dog-star: the star worshipped in Egypt and reverenced by the Occultists; by the former because its heliacal rising with the Sun [today around mid-August in our latitudes] was a sign of the beneficent inundation of the Nile, and by the latter because it is mysteriously associated with Thoth-Hermes [the Dragon God], god of wisdom, and Mercury [associated with the 2^nd Aspect and 4^th Principle Buddhi], in another form. Thus Sothis-Sirius had, and still has, a mystic and direct influence over the whole living heaven, and is connected with almost every god and goddess. It was “Isis in the heaven” and called Isis-Sothis, for Isis was “in the constellation of the dog”, as is declared on her monuments. … Sirius is also Anubis, and is directly connected with the ring “Pass me not” [Anubis is the Egyptian Pluto, also son of Isis, the Egyptian god of generation, depicted with the head of an animal, dog or jackal, also called ‘the Lord of the Underworld, of the lower world or Hades’ where he introduces the souls of the dead (the reincarnating entities); since Hades is in a certain sense the womb or uterus]; it is, moreover, identical with Mithra, the Persian Mystery god, and with Horus and even Hathor, called sometimes the goddess Sothis…”. Osiris, Anubis and Horus

The Great Heart and Magnet Sirius is also the Father of our Sun and stimulates the head centre of disciples:

“Influential and potent forces pouring in at this time from the great stars Betelgeuse [Orion] and Sirius. To these two influences, the disciples of the world in the senior ranks of the New Group of World Servers definitely react, and they produce a stimulation of the heart centre (Betelgeuse) and the head centre (Sirius).” (Esoteric Psychology II, 721)

In summary, the Two Great Origins Isis-Osiris, Sirius-Orion, emanate the Will-to-Good and the Love-Wisdom to realise it.

Thus, in the eternal Symbols of the Firmament, Orion, the Hunter of the heavens, the Great cosmic Soul, pursues the constellation of the Hare, Matter, and dominates it with the help of the two Dogs, Major (Sirius) and Minor (Procyon), the higher Manas dominated by Buddhi prevailing over the lower Manas.

is the lantern of the solar and cosmic Temple,

very high and central,

at the top of the altar of the Heart:

it guides the many to the central Unity,

at the service of the celestial Osiris ORION:

Sirius is the divine Ray of the Great cosmic Christ.

[1] The central point or axis of the evolutionary and orbital spiral of the solar System is, astronomically speaking, the Galactic Centre. Furthermore, according to the Teaching, our solar System would have a ‘gravitation’ of 250,000 years around the star Alcyone in the Pleiades (Taurus), certainly ‘subjective’, but presumably also objective, in the sense of a possible solar precession around that central point.

“Scientists have not yet admitted into their calculations the fact that our solar system is revolving around a cosmic centre [Alcyone?] along with six other constellations of even greater magnitude in the majority of cases than ours, only one being approximately of the same magnitude as our solar system. This cosmic centre in turn forms part of a great wheel [revolution around the galactic centre?] till—to the eye of the illumined seer—the entire vault of Heaven is seen to be in motion. This unknown and mysterious point is somehow ‘veiled’ by the so-called “apex” towards which our solar System is heading, according to astronomers, located between Vega in the constellation Lyra (the Seven-stringed lyre of the Music of the Spheres) and the constellation Hercules – the cosmic Disciple.

“The Muses have a very high, indeed unique, place in the divine hierarchy. They are called daughters of Zeus, born of Mnemosyne, the Goddess of memory; but this is not all, for they, and they alone, bear, like the father of the Gods himself, the appellation of Olympians, an appellation by which men used to honour the Gods in general, but – at least originally – no God in particular, with the exception of Zeus and the Muses.”[1]

“The voice of the divine maidens does not merely celebrate what has been created, but orders it and, in ordering it, adorns it: it endows it with meaning and beauty. The word is not a supplement that is added to what exists, but a power that fulfils the world and makes it be in all its splendour. Esoterically, invoking the Muse is listening or remembering the Voice of Spirit, mastering “the latent force in sound, speech and music”; this is how Language is defined, the fourth force/shakti of Nature, the Mātṛkāśakti or Mantrikashakti, the very nature, energy and dignity of the Fourth Human Hierarchy: ourselves in essence, Solar Angels or Sons of Mind, winged Messengers between the worlds of spirit and matter (Mercury, the Messenger of the Gods, is the Regent of the 4th Hierarchy and the 4th Ray of Harmony). We, human Monads, Spiritual Souls called to create the Good, the Beautiful and the True out of Love (Buddhi-Manas).

The Nine Muses, hierarchical and devic Powers who, as the crown of the God of Love, Zeus-Jupiter (the divine Second Ray of our solar system), and guided at the center by Sun-Apollo, make Creation perfect through Their songs and dances, thus teaching the saving Art to the Heroes among human beings, to the disciples of the Art of living according to the hierarchical Principle of Good, Beauty and Truth.

It is a light and a hope that blossoms in the wake of the centennial Conclave of the Hierarchy held in this year that is drawing to a close, in which the powerful impact of the First Ray energy (of the Will–Power of Shamballa) poured into the heart of Humanity and was welcomed, in particular, by the consciousnesses of those who, in watchful anticipation, work for the common Good.

Thus urged, the Disciples feel called to perform a courageous act: to look to the Centre where the Will of God is known, committing themselves to the conscious construction of that section of the antahkarana bridge that connects the New Group of World Servers, intermediaries between Humanity and the Hierarchy, to the Nirmanakayas, intermediaries between the latter and Shamballa.

Until now, in an attempt to imitate the Hierarchy, the Disciples of the world have mainly worked with the sevenfold model, a number that relates to the construction of form (the Stars of Life, the Lambdoma, the Plan). Now, however, understanding that they can and want to position themselves definitively on the soul level, where human and deva evolution (the Solar Angel) meet, they feel they must also begin to assert the number nine, the number of the spirit and the petals of the egoic lotus, which are synthesised in the three petals of the central lotus, vectors of the three fundamental energies (Will, Love and Light), at the centre of which is the “jewel of synthesis”, of a monadic nature, the anchor point of the power of Shamballa.

The nine of the egoic lotus reminds our consciousness of the nine Muses, exalted and co-creating devic Lives, together with the Second Logos and the planetary Gods/Logoi, as Handmaids of the Mother of the World, inspirers of Goodness, Beauty and Truth, and bearers of qualities and powers that have been widely established and celebrated on this blog over the course of the year just ended.

We therefore entrust ourselves to these divine powers to protect, inspire and sustain us along the path to the Summit, which is accomplished in the light of the stars.

At this point, having prepared the station for receiving the energy coming from the Shamballa Centre, we recognise that, inevitably, a fiery thread of that power is already beginning to descend into the consciousness of the Servers who, in response, can then think, going back up the same path, of setting up a human outpost in imitation of the spiritual Triad.

The year 2025 was therefore a watershed moment in the consciousness of the World Disciples and it is interesting to note, in relation to that thought-form we call “The Table of the Plan”, which is being constructed in 49 steps/years, that this year 6.5 inaugurates a ten-year cycle leading to the planned operational completion of this project, and 10 is precisely a number of perfection, recalling a cycle of the power of Shamballa.

Hence, a new stage in the work of building the Sanctuary of human Life is before us, and our joy grows and strengthens in the light of ever vaster, more glorious and renewing horizons.

The impact on the ordinary world of this injection of Will and Power, an energy that has long been stirring mainly in the most egocentric human minds, is now manifesting itself in an increasingly evident and deleterious way. We are witnessing the arrogance of rulers who have forgotten that politics is the art of the possible, of the pursuit of the greatest common good, of the sacrifice of the personal self; we see the emergence of extreme nationalism, the closing of borders, wars of conquest and bloody conflicts with no dignified way out, entrepreneurs accumulating enormous amounts of money, and therefore power, while part of the world lives in hardship or outright poverty, not to mention the arms race, the abnormal exploitation of natural resources, and the pollution of land, sea and air.

Furthermore, Artificial Intelligence, a glorious human achievement that could support profound changes that are still unthinkable today, currently brings with it widespread insecurity and confusion, as well as fears about future developments.
In particular, we are already seeing its effects, especially in the field of information, where it is increasingly difficult to discern truth from falsehood; in the management of personal data in the hands of a few multi-billionaires who control it; in the field of security and armaments, not only atomic weapons, but also small lethal “intelligent” devices, powerful aircraft, ships and land vehicles with decision-making capabilities; and in the labour market, where robotics is increasingly replacing manual workers.

It must be said, however, that all this, as a reaction, should stimulate consciousnesses to discernment, to a commitment to improving human relations in order to resolve conflicts, to replacing the logic of abuse with that of mediation, to increasing the level of education and to encouraging greater mental polarisation.

In short, at a superficial glance, at the end of this era everything seems to be falling apart, and so it is: the old world order is collapsing, but those who have eyes to see know that its debris is material for building future towers, whose height has already been designed by the Architect.

In fact, while we watch and listen to the din of what is collapsing, amplified and driven by the media, we see and hear with our own means (the eyes and ears of the heart) how great is the number of Men of Good Will and “everyday heroes” and how the seeds of the new world are beginning to grow: a more open consciousness, new ways of teaching and working, greater responsibility and lightness, a One Humanity in universal Communion.

With regard to the Table of the Plan that has been intuited for Humanity, the year that is beginning, the fifth of the sixth seven-year period dedicated to the New World Religion, is coloured by the relationship that occurs between the energies of the Sixth and Fifth Rays and its Goal, which must be understood by our consciousnesses and filled with meaning. It reads:

Communion of the Work. The Book of the System

Let us begin by examining the etymology of the words that make up this formula:

• Communion. From the Latin communio, commonality, participation, derived from the adjective communis, common. It is a term composed of the Latin preposition cum, together, and the adjective munis, “fulfilling one’s duty”, from the Indo-European root *MA-, which expresses the idea of measuring, distributing, exchanging. The term expresses the idea of energy exchange. (…). Communion means exchange in the unity of Being (see: “Communion”).

• Work (Lavoro in Italian). Labor derives from the Indo-European root *LABH-/*RABH-, which expresses the idea of grasping and turning one’s intention towards a goal: Sanskrit labhate, to take, to obtain; rabhas, violent movement of the soul or body; Greek lambano, to take; German arbeit, work, by transposition of the root from rab(h) to arbh; French labour, ploughing; English labour, hard work, labour pains. (…) To work means to strive with the utmost commitment to achieve a goal.

• System. From the Late Latin systema, which derives from the Greek systema, composed of the preposition syn, “with”, and the root of the verb istemi, “to stand”: “to stand together”. Indo-European root *STA-, which expresses the idea of being firm. System therefore indicates a firm composition of elements (see “Principles for the development of a system”).

Here is the graphic symbol that was intuited for this Goal:

“I read the eternal symbols.
Gradually, I penetrate their universal significance.
I begin to trace some other ones: minor, new, composite.
This is my project to communicate the truth.”

The following are excerpts from Goal 6.5:

The energy of the Sixth Ray tends by nature to move upwards and inwards. In fact it explores the meanings (inner) which lead to the Ideas. That of the Fifth Ray, on the contrary, tends to move outwards and downwards: it constructs the formal dualisms which manifest the Ideas.

Equilibrium is produced when the 5, having exhausted its constructive mission, starts to recall inwards what it manifested, as the 6, having penetrated to the inside, begins to diffuse the light it finds there… 

The relationship between the energies of the sixth and fifth Rays is marvellously effective. Instead of being unstable, it shows itself as pulsating between four directions of Space, or branches of the Cross. It is a creator of tenacity, resistance, renewal and victory. It transmutes form, which is a prison, into a luminous dwelling and instrument of revelation, capable of communicating the joy of being and multiplying it infinitely.

It is then understood that illusion is illusory. Man’s search is dedicated at the beginning to form, which is for a long time understood to be the only reality, then is recognized as illusion and is finally lived in its essence…  

… It is precisely the Vortex 6.5 which holds open the paths of transverse communion.

In the light projected by this Vortex, the System writes its Book, which records the most minute events and the highest thoughts, visions, and sacrifices. On its many pages, the lines of the Group’s mental designs and progression to the Goals are traced and changed.

The true reader reads it with closed eyes, without opening it. Yet the Book is real, and is constantly updated by vertex 6.5, which cares for every sign, shielding and interpreting it. He knows that each chapter is linked to all the others, even the most diverse ones, and that the Book can be read in various ways, having neither end nor beginning: each page is in fact both the beginning and the end, and can be read from bottom to top, diagonally, from top to bottom, from inside to outside.

It is like Nature. Everything that is a sign can and should be read as it changes, illuminating the other signs and all the pages. Thus reading, the text gradually becomes simpler, clearer and finally transparent, and the Book, pages and signs vanish.

 … The Vertex 6.5 must therefore learn to read and write, in this order. It is in fact right that the System, like any creature, first learns from the signs of others and only afterwards traces its own, for other readers.

The impulse of Goal 6.5, which is powerfully inaugurating the “Shamballa” decade, therefore shows us the way that leads to the completion of the work entrusted to us, and its title is unusual, since at first glance it appears to refer to two distinct objectives. The first statement responds precisely to the solicitations of the Six, Communion (which teaches us that in the Infinite all points are in mutual contact) and the Five, Work (the commitment of the Workers). The second seems to have been added later by the writer, moved by the hand of the Author, and only today do we understand that it could only be placed at this point in the cycle, because this is the right time to definitively detach ourselves, with lightness and simplicity, from the world of form and fix our gaze on the eternal source of the Will.

The Book of Life is written in the akasha by the supreme Author, through the infinite chain of lesser authors who are integral parts of His Being, and each of these continuously translates and retranslates, through their own experience, that Word which, like a song, reverberates incessantly throughout the Universe.

It can therefore be said that the great Author writes with many pens, strictly with invisible ink, and each aspiring author is one of these and will try to rewrite His Teachings to saturate a lower level of consciousness, thus becoming a teacher in turn.

When, at the end of this 49-year cycle, the Book of the System will be completed, its meaning will be understood and it will be released into Space with love and gratitude towards the Elder Brothers. The authors, like the great Builders of the Temple, turning their backs on their work, will once again gaze at the celestial spaces, empty of forms, where everything is One, to engrave in Space a new chapter of the never-ending story.

“In the Book of Life is contained the saturated stream of creative fire. Only upon the higher law can the page of Sublime Be-ness be affirmed. Valiantly must the spirit strive to the realization of all the subtle principles in order to attain higher knowledge. The Book of Life contains every aspiring action. The Book of Life contains the manifestation of all vital fires. The heart carries in itself all imprints of the Book of Life. The heart carries in itself the beauty of Be-ness and boundless cognition. Verily, the attainment of the heart affirms all possibilities. Verily, the attainment of the heart forges all the best steps.” (Agni Yoga Series, Infinity II § 507)

Finally, let us recall the affirmation that will innerly sustain the mind and heart of the planetary Disciple throughout the year we are inaugurating, the last of the “Group Impact Week”, and that will support it in its service:

I IRRADIATE THE HIERARCHICAL ORDER

This “Group Impact” takes place every seven years from 21 to 28 December, a period in which, according to the Tibetan Master, there is a powerful influx of spiritual energy. It was last celebrated by the Disciples of the World at the time of the Capricorn solstice in 2019, with a powerful global silence. This ritual act, in which many participated, gave an important impetus to the unity of Service in its various forms and degrees and to the consolidation in consciousness of the reality of the one planetary Server, intermediary between Humanity and the Hierarchy, who dares to aim at the point where Light, Love and Power are synthesised in the transcendent fire of the Centre where the Will of God is known.

Finally, let us remember that the hierarchical Order is the guarantee of universal unity: it is governed by Sound, which is Number and Relationship and ensures the Freedom of every creature.
It is generated by the sublime Will of the cosmic Magnet: Order is therefore the unifying Law of the heart.

“ (…) Hierarchy is not coercion, it is the law of the Universe. It is not a threat, but the call of the heart and a fiery admonition directing toward the General Good…” – (Introduction to the Book Hierarchy, Agni Yoga Series)

“The basis of being will be inscribed into the Book of Life, and when the consciousness will reach the level of realization of eternal unity, then will it be possible to tell humanity, “Construct your life upon the principle of unity…” (Infinity I § 69)

Let us then solemnly take this first and decisive step together, which – without motion – leads us steadily towards the summit of Shamballa, whose base rests on our common heart. We must arm ourselves with courage, ardent commitment, detachment and sacrifice, in the knowledge that a spark of the power of the great Lord is already lit within us, at the centre of every heart, to show us the way.
And so, united with the Hierarchy, let us affirm:

(…) The Ruler of Shambhala is the fiery Impeller of Life and of the Fire of the Mother of the World. His Breath is ablaze with flame and His Heart is aglow with the fire of the Silvery Lotus.

The Ruler of Shambhala lives and breathes in the Heart of the Sun. The Ruler of Shambhala is the Invoker and the Invoked. The Ruler of Shambhala is the Sender of the Arrow and the Receiver of all arrows. The Ruler of Shambhala breathes the Truth and affirms the Truth. The Ruler of Shambhala is invincible, turning destruction into construction. The Ruler of Shambhala is the Crest of the Banner and the Summit of Life. Accept the Ruler of Shambhala as the manifestation of life; thrice I say—of life! For Shambhala is the guaranty of human aspirations. Our manifestation is guaranty of the perfecting of humanity. Our manifestation is the affirmed path to the Infinite. (Hierarchy § 5)

Today, in the heliocentric heaven, we celebrate the conjunction in Libra between Mercury, the Solar Messenger, the guarantor of symmetries and correspondences, the Master of Music who harmoniously connects the High and the Low and reflects the Model in all hearts of the System, and the Asteroid Terpsichore, she who delights in dance, understood as a privileged instrument for accessing the solemnity of the spirit, the Muse of movement that prepares us for the Sacred… An apotheosis of harmony and elegance, enhanced by the dazzling light of the pure Third Ray of Libra, an exciting celestial dance that urges us to give wings to our thoughts and fly high towards the first Idea, which can only be Heaven, that Model that Mercury encourages us to contemplate and guides us to imitate, a sublime momentum to bring the rhythms and sounds of Ideas into every thought, word, gesture and relationship of our daily lives, so as to realise – in the words of one of the greatest interpreters of the teaching of the Muses, William Shakespeare – the “music of men’s lives”!!

We can find many ways to express the concept of dance, but it is no longer necessary to prove – because it is a theoretical and historical fact that can be demonstrated in many ways – that dance is a form of thought: about the body, about man, about the world and their mutual relationship, about a tension to transcend… The elements necessary for any choreutic discourse are the body and movement, as tangible manifestations capable of showing something different from our everyday vision. The identity of these two elements, however, is not only a question of physical mechanics, but also of the ontology of the body and movement. The dancer, we might say, is a body capable of containing other worlds within the physical world; further worlds of imaginary and symbolic bodies, of possible bodies, visible and invisible… In other words, he enacts the profound interplay between internal and external, between the acting subject and the perceived object, because dancers do not exist separately from the form they are seeking and presenting. A new dose of Infinity approaches the human Heart and pours into it its treasures toward the perfection of Being: of Good, Beauty, and Truth.

All that contributes toward accomplishment of the task of humanity’s advancement in the chain of evolution coordinates its earthly direction with Infinity. The task suggests that creative thoughts be applied toward discoveries in the realm of Space. Great is the loss when designs force the closing of that which induces the perfecting of all forms. Only when the evidence of all spatial riches will be realized will it be possible to give perfection to our earthly forms. Be-ness was affirmed before its full realization by humanity, and all forms of life were then in varying stages. There are as many stages in Infinity as there are steps of consciousness. All things are interrelated. All things are mutually attracted and everything is reflected in the depthless ocean of creativeness.

       The spirit able to assimilate the highest on the planet and cognizant of the incompleteness of one life is an eagle spirit, soaring unfettered in life, in the sun of knowledge above the desert.

         It is given to the spirit to know the cosmic fires! (Infinity I, § 26)

[1] Saturn‘s 30-year cycle and Neptune‘s 164-year cycle intersect approximately every 36 years (9×4), when the two Luminaries of the 3rd Ray and the 6th Ray conjoin. This conjunction at the beginning of Aries is, however, supremely powerful because it initiates new, profound cycles, both of approximately 320 years (the last time Saturn and Neptune conjoined in Aries was in 1703, but at 12 degrees of the Sign) and of 164 years (Neptune entered Aries in 1861, the year of the unification of Italy, a nation with a 6th Ray Soul).

Today, in the heliocentric heaven, that is the heaven of great causes, we see, in the sign of Scorpio, the conjunction of Venus with the asteroid Melpomene.
Venus embodies the canon of harmonious beauty and is the alter ego of Earth. Scorpio is the sign that presides over the Fourth Hierarchy, the human one, and transmits the energy of the 4^th Ray. Melpomene, she who sings, is the Muse of tragedy.

Let us imagine the graceful Venus joining Melpomene and passing through Scorpio, a sign that loves to dig deep, get to the bottom of things, and remove masks. It is both the agent of deception and the Light of liberation: deceit and triumph, the prevalence first of Maya and then of the Soul, war and peace, are Its secrets.

The result is an atmosphere of beauty that arises from the shadows, and in the company of Melpomene, beauty is tinged with dramatic depth, gravitas and integrity, without half measures, so as to transform wounds into awareness, desire into intuition, drama into wisdom.

It is a configuration that invites us not to flee from intensity but to use it as a sacred fire, with love and sacrifice that renounces personal motives in order to serve the common Good.

It is a situation that evokes love and death, Eros and Thanatos, and their continuous alternation.

These are verses by Giacomo Leopardi, for whom Love and Death are primordial forces that accompany human beings along the path of life and push them towards infinity.

Eros, named after the Greek god of love, is the tendency (Desire) for attraction between elements: it generates, unites and warms. Thanatos, named after the Greek god of death, is the tendency for disintegration between elements: it destroys, fragments and separates.

Each growth of spirit requires burdening through circumstances. There exists an ancient legend that out of human sufferings are created precious stones. Thus it is, and when I say, “Burden Me”, it does not mean that I bring a sacrifice, I am only multiplying the power of the spirit… It is time to understand the responsibility and the privilege afforded by earthly incarnations. Yet people often avoid listening to the waves of space and catching the echoes and answers which come from various strata of the Universe… Harken to the Voice of Eternity, which leads to Bliss and Light. Fear not, fear not, fear not! (Agni Yoga Series, Hierarchy § 38)

Eros is the personification of nature’s attractive force that presides over the union of elements and beings, uniting the universe and the perpetuity of species. For this reason, in the human sphere, he is also considered by the Greeks to be the god of amorous attraction, corresponding to the god that the Romans called Love or Cupid. The personality of this deity is very complex: he is what moves us towards something, a divine principle that drives us towards beauty.

Thanatos, in Greek mythology, represents the personification of death and is also referred to as the One who rules death and as the Supreme Legion.

Two opposing and complementary forces therefore contend for the heart of the human soul: Eros, the vital and creative impulse, and Thanatos, the destructive thrust and return to the inorganic.

The relationship between Eros and Thanatos, conceived by Freudian and Jungian psychoanalysis as the two fundamental impulses that govern the human psyche and profoundly influence the transformations of the Self, generates a continuous process of negotiation between these opposing forces.

Eros can push the subject to evolve, but the conflict with Thanatos can generate moments of crisis and psychological darkness that test identity.

Eros leads individuals to seek connection with others and with the outside world, which is essential for the expansion of consciousness and the integration of new dimensions of experience.

In this specific phase, individuals begin to feel a unity between their inner and outer worlds, seeking to express their authentic Selves in their relationships with others.

Although Thanatos may initially seem negative, we must recognise that it has its own transformative function, as it leads to the need to change, to transform, to die to dysfunctional patterns, old ways of being, outdated identities and models that are no longer useful to the process of individuation.

Thanatos allows for the exhaustion of what is obsolete and provides an opportunity for renewal and transformation, letting go of limitations, beliefs, fears, phobias, threats and illusions. In this sense, Thanatos is also the possibility of rebirth: the death of the ego to make room for the birth of the Self.

The connection between Eros and Thanatos is central to individuation, since the integration of both forces allows the individual to realise a complete Self. Eros without Thanatos could lead to excessive identification with personality and superficial desires, while Thanatos without Eros could lead to despair and isolation.

These are two energies in constant dialogue: the first builds, embraces and ignites life, while the second dampens, destroys and seeks to return to silence. This dance, like an eternal tango, shapes our behaviour, our desires and even our artistic creations.

We find Eros as a vital, expansive, connective force in many spiritual paths where it is the divine impulse that animates the cosmos:

In Taoism, it is Qi that flows and sets everything in motion;

In Tantra, it is Shakti, the creative energy;

In mystical Christianity, it recalls the idea of Agape, the love that unites everything;

In esoteric traditions, it is the force that drives the soul to grow and seek unity.

Thanatos, as a return to the origin, to silence, to the spiritual desire for total peace, is viewed positively in many traditions:

In Buddhism, it is the movement towards Nirvana;

In Taoism, it is the return to the Void;

In Western mysticism, it is the yearning to lose oneself in God.

On the inner journey, Eros is the spark that urges us towards the search for truth, light, and the desire to embrace existence instead of suffering it. It is the energy that moves, opens, and expands.

Thanatos is the other half necessary to dissolve illusions, to let go of the personality that wants to be right, to renounce what weighs us down: it does not destroy but frees up space, it is not dying but melting like snow in the sun.

An authentic spiritual journey continuously alternates between these two impulses:

Eros: I explore, I understand, I open myself up.

Thanatos: I let go, I remain silent, I empty myself.

A bit like breathing in and breathing out, like a monk who studies texts in the morning and sits in silence at sunset.

Magic happens and the journey flourishes when these two energies become allies: when Eros says he wants to go further, Thanatos responds by letting go of what is not needed to go further.

Then life becomes lighter and we grow effortlessly, like a plant that has finally found light and good soil… Let’s imagine the journey as an inner theatre:

Eros is the enthusiastic actor who wants to inspire, rehearse and learn his part. Thanatos is the Zen director who, every now and then, says to him: “Right, now stop fidgeting and remove everything that is unnecessary”.

When the two get along… the show becomes sublime.

The secret is rhythm, like breathing in and out: Eros fills us with life, Thanatos frees us from the superfluous, and when the flow is balanced, we feel alive without agitation and at peace without fading away.

The achievement of the spirit consists in that amidst earthly difficulties and struggles the spirit develops the higher striving… Thus, when it is said, “the achievement of spirit will be with those who have known the struggle and search for knowledge”, it means this will be a fiery attainment… (Agni Yoga Series, Fiery World III § 37)

Today we celebrate the seventh and final solar alignment of the year 2025* between the Earth and the royal star Aldebaran, the Eye of Revelation, Source of Light and Illumination for consciousness and matter – cosmic presidium of the central one among the Seven Rays or Energies of Life, “the fourth Ray of Harmony through conflict”.

Symmetrically, the disc and Presence of the Sun reveal the red star Antares, the Heart of Scorpio, source of cosmic Ardour or Desire, kamâ (divine Love), fiery garrison of the Sixth Ray of abstract Idealism and Devotion.

Such a fundamental Day (today) and Year (2025), coloured by the energies of the 6^th and 4^th Rays, sacred to power and will-to-Harmony between Love and Light, between divine Desire and Vision, are moments of cosmic possibilities that are realised in the “relative” here and now of our beloved Earth, and at the Centre and from the Centre of every Heart or Soul/Solar Angel.

According to the Teaching, the Ray of Harmony or Art (4^th R.), inherent in the Soul of the fourth human kingdom, is about to gradually “rise” to new splendour starting from 2025, the year of the externalisation of the Hierarchy (the spiritual Model, the closest to humanity); the profound reality or essence of Humanity, referred to as the Fourth Human Hierarchy, is increasingly magnified:

“… the fourth Ray teaches the art of living in such a way as to achieve a synthesis of beauty. There is no beauty without unity … humanity, the fourth kingdom [the central one among the seven]**, expression of the fourth creative hierarchy of human monads, is instinctively drawn to harmony … which is expressed in beauty and creative power, and achieved through struggle, effort and tension.” [From: “The fourth Ray of Harmony through conflict – Compendium, only available in Italian”]

On this Date, therefore, a powerful chord resounds between Heaven and Earth, the One planetary Server contemplates the perfect Harmony of the celestial Spheres and, sharing in the Glory of the Creators of the good, the beautiful and the true, asserts the 4^th Goal of the planetary Plan established by the Hierarchy:

4.4 – Imitation of the Hierarchy

“Imitation of the Hierarchy is to respond and conform to the higher Model.
Hierarchy is the central Reference for all the creatures of the Planet: Humanity must imitate It and gradually identify with the hierarchical Principle. The Canon 1-3-7 of the hierarchical and universal Life is the way to be and become “in the image and likeness” of the Divine, “in united breath and unified rhythm” with the Heart of Infinity.” [Excerpt from: Asserting the planetary Plan]

“… We, your Brothers, know that page of life wherein is inscribed the oneness of Cosmos. We affirm that the manifested evolution is created not in dissociation but in a limitless striving of harmony. The more beautiful, the more high. The more powerful, the more high…” [Infinity I § 71]

* In this Great Year 2025, Goal 6.4 of the Plan, consecrated to the intelligent understanding or communion with the Beauty and Harmony emanating from the Order of Creators, the universal Hierarchy, Glory and Power of ‘He in Whom we live, move and have our being’, the One Server solemnly asserts the Seven central Goals of the evolutionary Plan, orienting them to Seven primary Stars, cosmic bearers of the 7 Ray Fires (together with the Triad of intimate constellations Ursa Major, Sirius and Pleiades), and ritually does so on their 7 Dates of annual alignment with the Earth from the Sun’s heliocentric perspective: the Ecliptic of the Heart then pulsates and vibrates with even more sublime harmonies, and the planetary Ajna Centre (the planetary Group/Server), the Rose Window of the Temple for Humanity, opens to the supernal Light of Cosmos.

** The esoteric Teaching of the trans-Himalayan tradition presents the human Kingdom as the central bridge between the three higher Kingdoms (spiritual, planetary, solar) and the three lower Kingdoms of nature (mineral, plant, animal), just as it presents the Idea of Humanity as the third planetary Centre, the Throat or creative Centre, part of the governing Triangle of the Earth together with the second magnetic Heart Centre – the planetary Hierarchy – and the first governing Head Centre, Shamballa, the solar Government of our Planet.

Today, in short, that loving joy that Christ called ‘a special wisdom’ resounds in the heavens, speaking to us of new beginnings, and our grateful hearts respond to that call by opening like flowers and emanating the scent of their beauty.

In this luminous context, let us reflect on that special state of consciousness we call Bliss.

Let us begin by returning with the mind of the hearts to the time when the Great Master walked the roads of the Earth bringing the glad Tidings. One day He gave a speech, remembered as “the Sermon on the Mount”, in which, speaking to all those who had gathered to listen to Him and to those who would listen to Him in the future, He said:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven. (…)” (from the Gospel according to Matthew, 5; 3–12)

At the powerful sound of those words, many of those present probably felt heartened, understood the value of their lives and realised that they were, in a certain sense, privileged, that is, that they were on the path to salvation and bliss, and likely decided to increase their commitment to living righteously, without allowing themselves to be distracted by the malice of the world. Bliss here, therefore, is the ‘reward of righteous men’, who can access glimpses of heaven to cling to in the midst of ordinary life.

Twelve centuries later, St Francis made a similar speech to his companions, speaking of perfect Joy, that state of authentic contentment and inner serenity that is found in accepting suffering and injustice with patience, love and gratitude.
As it always happens, some, even those close to him, did not understand His words, but others perceived their value and still today continue to follow Him on the path to bliss.

In the first half of the last century, at the beginning of the transmission of His Teaching, the Master of Agni Yoga made seven statements that defined its intrinsic nature and established the quality of the relationship with the disciples to whom He was giving Himself:

I am—your Bliss
I am—your Smile
I am—your Joy
I am—your Rest
I am—your Strength
I am—your Valor
I am—your Wisdom

These are impactful phrases that can clearly be connected to the seven Rays, suggesting that they should be understood as different ways of describing that state of grace, that quiet and joyful fulfilment, that relative perfection independent of any external situation, which we recognise as Bliss.
Our Bliss, therefore, is the Smile of the Master, as we see it depicted in paintings or sculpted in statues on the faces of great Beings and which, when it blossoms within us, we perceive as a sense of loving, subtle, inclusive, profound saturation.
The third aspect of Bliss speaks to us of that light and crystalline Joy that emanates from the Master’s aura and that sometimes overwhelms us all of a sudden when we are faced with His Teaching or the beauty of creation.
The fourth is His Rest, that ‘place’ of peace where all opposites are resolved in harmony, that confident and serene tranquillity that comes from the awareness that He is in us now and forever.
And it is from His Strength that we feel that calm, yet determined, and confident certainty spring forth, allowing us to dare to say, looking at the shining stars: “Hail to you, Brothers!”
The sixth aspect of Bliss is the Valour of the Master who dwells within us and erases all remaining fear from our hearts; we experience this in that tense silence in which we are aware that nothing is impossible.
The last aspect is His Wisdom, which allows us to finally recognise ourselves, in turn, as masters.
Let us also remember that the Master affirms that upon each of us “a receptacle of Grace” [Bliss] has been bestowed: it is our treasure, which must be carefully guarded and nurtured in our shared heart.

During the same period, so rich in teachings, the Tibetan Master, in the Treatise on Cosmic Fire, explains that Bliss is found on the atmic level of consciousness and is the sublimation of the sense of hearing: it is therefore related to the Sound that builds and maintains the Creation in existence.

Here are some excerpts from the text on this subject (see pages 190–192):

Hearing. This, very appropriately, is the first sense to be manifested; the first aspect of manifestation is that of sound, and necessarily therefore we would expect sound to be the first thing noticed by man on the physical plane, the plane of densest manifestation, and of the most marked effects of sound, regarding it as a creating factor. Pre-eminently the physical plane is the plane of hearing and hence the sense ascribed to the lowest plane of evolution, and of each of the five planes. On this seventh or lowest plane man has to come to full cognisance of the effect of the Sacred Word as it is in process of sounding forth. As it reverberates throughout the system, it drives matter into its appointed place, and on the physical plane finds its point of deepest materiality and of most concrete demonstration.

The key for man to discover and turn, concerns itself with the revealing of the mystery of:

a. His own sound.
b. His brother’s sound.
c. His group sound.
d. The sound of that one of the Heavenly Men with whom he is connected.
e. The sound of the Logos, or the sound of nature; of the solar system, of the Grand Man of the Heavens.

Therefore, we note that on the physical plane a man has to find his own note, finding it in spite of the density of the form.

a. On the physical plane he finds his own note.
b. On the astral plane he finds his brother’s note; through identity of emotion he comes to the recognition of his brother’s identity.
c. On the mental plane he begins to find his group note.
d. On the buddhic plane, or the plane of wisdom, he begins to find the note of his planetary Logos.
e. On the atmic, or spiritual, plane the note logoic begins to sound within his consciousness.

(…) Hearing on the astral plane is commonly called clairaudience, and means the ability to hear the sounds of the astral plane. It is a faculty that demonstrates throughout the entire astral body, and a man hears all over his vehicle and not only through the specialised organs, the ears, the product of physical plane action and reaction. 

(…) Hearing on the mental plane is simply an extension of the faculty of differentiating sound. The hearing dealt with on all these planes is the hearing that has to do with the form, that concerns the vibration of matter, and that is occupied with the not-self. It has not to do with the psyche, or the telepathic communication that proceeds from mind to mind, but with the sound of the form or that power whereby one separated unit of consciousness is aware of another unit who is not himself. Bear this carefully in mind. When the extension of hearing becomes such that it concerns the psyche, then we call it telepathy or that wordless communication that is the synthesis of hearing on all the three lower planes and which is known by the Ego in the causal body on the formless levels of the mental plane.

On the buddhic plane, hearing (now of the synthetic quality called telepathy) demonstrates as complete comprehension, for it has involved two things:

1. A knowledge and recognition of individual sound,
2. A similar knowledge of group sound,
and their complete unification. This causes the most perfect comprehension, and is the secret of the Master’s power.

On the atmic plane this perfected hearing is seen as beatitude. Sound, the basis of existence; sound, the method of being; sound, the final unifier; sound therefore realised as the raison d’être, as the method of evolution, and therefore as beatitude.

Based on these indications, our minds might initially lead us to believe that we are far removed from the atmic plane, where Bliss resides. But this is not the case: first of all, because, as we know, distance is an illusion; secondly, because, as a group, we are already firmly established on the telepathic level and are therefore close to the buddhic plane; furthermore, we know that the planes of consciousness are not impermeable and, when our awareness stabilises on a given level, sparks of consciousness are already projected onto the subsequent ones.
Finally, let us consider that, while hearing is transfigured into Bliss, the other senses also begin to transmute their nature and reinforce the process of elevation.
We can therefore affirm that we all know the soundless sound of Bliss, that infinite ocean of silence that the heart absorbs and contains, in which we can suddenly find ourselves immersed, in the midst of everyday noise, struck by the beauty of the earth, the silence of the sky, or the timeless power of a work of art, or when we are surrounded and penetrated by music composed and played with mastery by human minds and hands.

Let us therefore allow ourselves to be led by the aspiration of the spirit which, as the Master says, is the ‘sparkling of Bliss’ and enables us to walk decisively towards the majestic summit of Shamballa.

The Seven Formulas of the Fourth human Hierarchy

Here’s the Foreword

Who or what is Humanity?

The esoteric Teaching of the trans-Himalayan tradition presents the human Kingdom as the central bridge between the three higher Kingdoms (spiritual, planetary, solar) and the three lower kingdoms of nature (mineral, plant, animal), just as it presents the Idea of Humanity as the 3^rd planetary Throat Centre or creative Centre, part of the governing Triangle of the Earth, together with the 2^nd magnetic Heart Centre – the planetary Hierarchy – and the 1^st governing Head Centre – Shamballa, the solar Government of our Planet.

Furthermore, the Essence of Humanity is indicated as the Fourth human Hierarchy, one of the 12 creative Hierarchies, or orders of conscious lives, which constitute and build the body of manifestation of our solar Logos. (see the documents La Manifestazione and Le Gerarchie creative e l’Evoluzione, only available in Italian at the moment)

According to these Indications, which are revolutionary compared to common thinking and were only made public at the end of the 19^th century, the current fourth human kingdom is therefore the body of expression of certain solar Beings, an apparent Form actually composed of 4 creative Hierarchies.

Numerous excerpts have already been quoted, in the two documents mentioned above, in an attempt to understand this dizzying vision of ourselves and the field of reality in which we “live, move and have our being”. We therefore refer you to these documents before embarking on this further attempt to establish the seven primary points of our solar Essence.

Addressing this theme of the Teaching is definitely a difficult challenge for the mind, yet it is recognised as a necessary, if not urgent, action to transform and elevate the human conception of reality, of our nature, origin and destiny, especially in this crucial time of 2025.

Let us therefore attempt to compose the Seven ideal Formulas of the Fourth human Hierarchy, in order to fix them on the mental plane, so that they may become, in due course, the common heritage of thought and realisation of Humanity.

We recognise, in fact, the creative power of Thought and Vision (they too are living substances of ‘hierarchies of builders’!). We recognise that deep awareness of the human Essence and Nature is part of the initiatory Path, that awakening of our hierarchical authority and dignity which will liberate human and planetary creative power and guide us back

from darkness to light,

from the unreal to the real,

from death to immortality,

from chaos to beauty.

Today we celebrate the sixth solar alignment of the year 2025* between the Earth (and her Consort Uranus, the solar Initiator) and the Star Alcyone of the Pleiades, the substantial Origin and pivot of the revolution of the Seven solar Systems of which ours is a part – a primary star connected to Aquarius, the next evolutionary horizon, and to ‘individual’ Service, in the sense of responsible and conscious.

A Date sacred to the generative power of the Third Ray (Pleiades 3rd, Sirius 2nd, Great Bear 1st), the Third Fire of the Divine, active or creative Intelligence at the basis of the Evolution of Consciousness, spiritual Light: “from the esoteric angle, evolution means a steadily increasing sensitivity to light and illumination.” [A. On such a Day, therefore, and in the here and now ‘relative’ to our beloved Earth (3^rd Ray), the current ‘evolutionary field of consciousness’ Sagittarius–Gemini (the active zodiacal axis)**, the sweet influence of the cosmic Mother radiates: the rhythmic motion of the celestial Fire illuminates the evolutionary and unifying Purpose, and incessantly propels the Plan forward towards the one Goal.

The common Dream of the human Group, of the One Planetary Server, is made of the same Substance and Energy, the marvellous reality that ensures the unfolding of the planetary Plan established and executed by our Hierarchy.

The planetary Group/Server contemplates this vision and asserts the Third Goal:

3.3 – Group Initiation

“Group Initiation is the new method of the planetary evolution Plan to awaken Humanity (Planetary Throat Center). In the Earth’s evolutionary scheme (as in just two other planetary schemes), an experiment to accelerate the common advancement is underway: carrying out the Plan for Humanity is realized through group initiation, i.e., through the conscious “coordinated cooperation towards the common Purpose”. Humanity, the Center of creative Intelligence, will be structured as a group of groups, a unitary system and hierarchical order to illuminate and administer the Planet harmoniously. [From: Asserting the planetary Plan]

“Group initiation is based upon a uniform and united group will, consecrated towards the service of humanity and based upon loyalty, cooperation and interdependence. In the past, the emphasis was upon the individual, his training and approach to initiation, and his solitary admittance to the Temple of Initiation. But this individual concentration will, in the future, give place to a group condition which will enable several disciples unitedly to move forward, unitedly to stand before the Initiator, and unitedly and simultaneously to achieve the great realisation which is the result and the reward of successful discipleship.” [Rays and the Initiations, pp. 17-18]

“… Group initiation means that the bulk of the members are correctly oriented; that they are proposing to accept the discipline which will prepare them for the next great expansion of consciousness, and that none of them can possibly be deviated from their purpose (note that word with its first ray or Shamballic implications), no matter what is happening in their environment or their personal life…” [Ibid., p. 36]

“Initiation is daring to approach the Image of Light and not fearing to look at It. Uniting with Light requires courage and a high degree of self-denial; this fearlessness is in itself a beautiful initiation.” [Supermundane § 232, Agni Yoga Series]

Esoteric Astrology teaches us that Uranus is the Luminary of “Electric Fire”, the Fire that gives life and incessantly renews it.

Uranus stands for the orderly Heaven, the Cosmos, in its organic and hierarchical totality, of living and vital Fire; it watches over the divisions, which are not separative but acts of communion. It organises forms into species and subspecies. It composes hierarchies of attributes, functions and values.

He is the custodian of the Door of Initiation and of the spiritual Hierarchy, those Great Beings who, from behind the scenes, guard and administer planetary and human evolution; he prepares and directs rhythms and rituals, whose unifying magic is the exact binding agent of all communions; he spiritualises or sublimates all forms, guiding them back to the One.

It can be said that rhythm is the progenitor of cooperation; and joint action, as we know, is a powerful driving force. Uranus, the Lord of Order, the cosmic traction, with His fiery touch on the one hand consolidates the bonds with the Sources of the Cosmos and its Laws, and on the other awakens the Mysteries in the depths of the consciousness of the servers animated by the Will-to-Good.

“Certainly one can attain only through adherence to Hierarchy. Only the understanding of the great law will open the eyes of humanity. How, then, not to penetrate into the might of constructiveness? Therefore, Our disciples must be imbued with an understanding of the affirmation of Hierarchy. “Of all principles leading to the broadening of consciousness, the principle of Hierarchy is the most powerful. Each manifested change is based upon it. Whither can the spirit direct itself without the Guiding Hand? Where can the eye and the heart turn without Hierarchy, when the Giving Hand of the Hierarch affirms the flow of destiny, and when the Hand of the Hierarch directs one to the best manifested date, and one becomes familiar with even the highest energies? Therefore, the seed of the spirit becomes imbued with the Cosmic Ray of the Hierarch. Heaven, with Its Laws, is the true hierarchical Order to be imitated.

The government of the new Culture/Civilisation must recognise the value of the universal creative law: the sevenfold order and the work carried out in contact with the real Government, taken as a model. The septenary order is the key to understanding the solar cosmos and is the key to activating a new way of working together in a coordinated manner towards a common goal. The hierarchical order, that is, the constant movement towards Unity, is the basis of ideal communion and expresses the triumph of the evolutionary spiral according to the canon of beauty.

“Upon Oneness stands the entire affirmed Be-ness. The operating law is so stupendous that all cosmic construction rests upon this principle. In every manifestation this law assembles the parts, uniting those which belong to each other. This great law is the Crown of Cosmos.” [5]

The hero of the spirit, inspired by the Beauty of Heaven and with joy in his heart, participates in the creation of the future and sows sparks of Teaching that already flash in the creative spiral of human order.

The splendid torches of creative beauty from the distant Worlds are our source of light, indispensable and precious for the education of the heart and for accessing the Beauty of Harmony, which is voluntary concord: here is a golden seed of the new Culture to be spread everywhere, as a call for cosmic collaboration among all beings, at every level. The cosmic vision guides to the enlightened progress of the Wisdom of Truth, for “Rulership is in neither crowns nor crowds, but rather in the cosmic expanse of ideas.” [4], ideas that lead to this:

The Great Renunciation

Renunciation of the causal body: awareness of the Spirit

Revelations and Mysteries:
At the fourth initiation, one understands the mystery of polarity.

Ray: Fourth Ray

Zodiac Signs involved:  Taurus

Plane: it takes place on the buddhic plane

Centre: Heart

The man, now a disciple, having gained control over his astral body and learned how to consciously activate his mental body, finds himself on the threshold of a new evolutionary plane.

At the third Initiation, that of Transfiguration, the entire personality is flooded with light flowing from above. Only from this moment on does the Monad definitively guide the Ego. The Disciple, having freed himself from the limitations of the physical, emotional and mental worlds, has a much broader vision; thus he becomes aware of the Purpose and planetary karma in all its vastness, and consciously advances towards higher expansions of consciousness. [1]

He goes towards the fourth Initiation, called the Great Renunciation. With this initiation, the disciple acquires freedom from all self-interest, and the renouncing of the personal life in the interest of a larger whole.  Even soul-consciousness ceases to be of importance and a more universal awareness, and one closer to the divine Mind, takes its place. [2] He thus manifests the supreme expression of the will-to-liberation from the three worlds—physical, emotional, and mental—with the aim of being able to help Humanity to a high degree by transmitting new energy to it.

The term Great Renunciation refers to detachment — a word that, in Eastern tradition, corresponds to the Western concept of renunciation.
It is an inner process that involves the “crucifixion” of the lower self, made possible only through the constant and daily practice of detachment. In Christianity, this moment is referred to as the Crucifixion, because Jesus, on the Cross, made the Great Renunciation for the salvation of Humanity: it was then that He received the Fourth Initiation. The term crucifixion, therefore, means “suffering with detachment”: the awareness that the soul does not suffer and that, for the Master who has attained liberation, there is neither pain nor anguish.

In this Initiation, the Law of Sacrifice begins to act upon the disciple, producing the destruction of the causal body, the body of the soul, so that the unified personality, infused by the soul, can act directly inspired by the Spiritual Triad, the triple expression or instrument of the Monad. The significance of these “destructive episodes which produce the freeing of the prisoner of the planet” (i.e., the divine, spiritual man) lies in the fact that, after the fourth initiation, the light of purpose is the sole controlling factor in the career of the initiate; he enters then upon a stage wherein he steadily approaches closer to the “centre where the will of God is known”. [3] The action of this Law “destroys all hindrances, breaks down all impediments and removes all individual obstacles, thus releasing the initiate into that vortex of force in which he learns the method of handling the planetary correspondence of that which he has individually overcome.” [4]

The concept of sacrifice has permeated all the teaching anent the Crucifixion or the Renunciation Initiation, both in the East and in the West. This is a sacrifice idea associated with the concept of pain, agony, suffering, patience, prolongation and death. Yet the true root of the word remains the same and gives the true significance: “Sacer”, to make holy; that is what in truth happens to the initiate; he is “made holy”; he is “set apart” for spiritual development and service. He is separated off from that which is natural, material, transmitted and handicapping, trammelling and destructive, and from that which lessens right activity for that which is new. He learns to define the Wholeness which is his divine right and prerogative. [5]

This initiation is therefore, in a unique sense, a culminating experience and a point of entrance into a new life for which all the past has been a preparation. Aspirants and disciples should remember that after the third initiation, the effects of the initiation which they may be undergoing are not confined simply to the individual initiate, but that henceforth at all the later initiations he becomes the transmitter of the energy which will pour through him with increasing potency at each application of the Rod. He acts primarily as an agent for the transmission, for the stepping down and for the consequent safe distribution of energy to the masses. [6]

Revelations and mysteries at the fourth initiation

At the fourth initiation another of the great secrets is revealed to him. It is called “the mystery of polarity”, and the clue to the significance of sex in every department of nature on all the planes is given to him. It is not possible to say much along these lines. All that can be done is to enumerate some of the subjects to which it gives the clue, adding to this the information that in our planetary scheme, owing to the point in evolution of our own Planetary Logos, this secret is the most vital.

Our Planetary Logos is at the stage wherein He is consciously seeking the at-one-ment with his polar opposite, another Planetary Logos. The subjects on which this secret throws a flood of light are:—

a. Sex on the physical plane. It gives us a key to the mystery of the separation of the sexes in Lemurian days.

b. The balancing of forces in all departments of nature.

c. The clue as to which Scheme forms with ours a duality.

d. The true name of our Planetary Logos and His relation to the Solar Logos.

e. “The Marriage of the Lamb” and the problem of the heavenly bride. A clue to this lies in the solar system of S…. which must be read astrologically.

f. The mystery of the Gemini, and the connection of our particular Planetary Logos with that constellation. [7]

The Rays at the Fourth Initiation: 4^th Ray

The fourth initiation… [is in] relation to the fourth Ray of Harmony through Conflict. This fourth ray… is out of incarnation, as far as the reincarnating egos or souls of men are concerned.  From another angle, however, it is always active and ever present, because it is the ray which governs the fourth kingdom in nature, the human kingdom in the three worlds of strictly human evolution. [8]

Fundamentally, the 4^th Ray is responsible for the efforts, tensions, and initial conflict between the pair of opposites we call spirit and matter. The Principle of Conflict, latent in every atom of substance, is always present before renunciation. It produces, first of all, conflict, then renunciation, and finally emancipation. [9]

In particular:

1. The fourth Ray of Harmony through Conflict is a controlling factor in human affairs at all times, and peculiarly today.

2. The Principle of Conflict is the agent of the Principle of Harmony and produces the strains and the stresses which will lead, finally, to liberation.

3. The great initiation of the Renunciation, plus the many smaller renunciations, is the result of inner conflict and ever precedes liberation into harmony and peace.

4. Conflict produces: War-Renunciation-Liberation. [10]

The zodiac signs at the Fourth Initiation

At the fourth Initiation, the action of Taurus intensifies in relation to the luminary Vulcan. Vulcan is the ray or planet of isolation for, in a peculiar sense, it governs the fourth initiation wherein the depths of aloneness are plumbed and the man stands completely isolated. He stands detached from “that which is above and this which is below”. There comes a dramatic moment when all desire is renounced; the will of God or the Plan is seen as the only desirable objective but as yet the man has not proved to himself, to the world of men or to his Master whether he has the strength to move forward along the line of service. There is revealed to him (as there was revealed to the Christ at the fourth great initiatory crisis in His life) some definite, active undertaking which embodies that aspect of the will of God which it is his peculiar function to appropriate and make possible of expression. This has been called in the Christian phraseology, “the Gethsemane experience”. The Christ, kneeling beside the rock (symbolic of the depths of the mineral kingdom and of the activity of Vulcan, the fashioner), raises His eyes upward to where the light of revelation breaks forth and knows at that moment what it is He has to do. Such is the test of Vulcan, ruling Taurus, of the soul, ruling desire, of the Son of God, fashioning His instrument of expression in the depths, grasping the divine purpose and so bending the will of the little self to that of the greater Self. The depths have been reached and there is no more to be done. The light from the eye of the Bull which with ever increasing radiance has guided the struggling soul must give place eventually to the light of the Sun, for Vulcan is a substitute for the Sun; it is spoken of sometimes as being veiled by the Sun and at others it stands for the Sun itself. It stands between the man and the Sun, the soul. Therefore, we have in this connection three symbols of the light:

1. Taurus – The eye of illumination or light. The Bull’s eye. Illumination. Exoterically—the physical Sun.

2. Vulcan – The one who reveals that which is deeply hidden and brings it up into the light. Esoterically—the heart of the Sun.

3. The Sun – The great Illuminator. Spiritually—the central spiritual Sun. Thus from every angle, illumination remains the theme of this sign. [11]

The 7 Planes of the Cosmic Physical Plane: the Plane of the Fourth Initiation

At this fourth initiation the initiate begins to function entirely and always upon the fourth plane, the buddhic levels of the cosmic physical plane—our intuitional plane. This is the case whether you count from below upwards or from above downwards. You have here again an indication of the central position of this initiation and of its importance. It is preceded by three initiations and succeeded by three initiations, leading up to that of the seventh or final planetary initiation, because the remaining two initiations are fundamentally not related in any way to our planetary Life.

The buddhic plane is the perceptive consciousness that is the pre-eminent characteristic of the Hierarchy. It is the fourth state of consciousness or intermediate state.

On the buddhic or intuitional plane (the fourth level of the cosmic physical plane) the mind nature—even that of the higher mind or the level of abstract thought—loses its control over the initiate and is henceforth only useful in service. The intuition, the pure reason, complete knowledge illumined by the loving purpose of the divine Mind… takes its place and the initiate lives henceforth in the light of correct or straight knowledge, expressing itself as wisdom in all affairs—hence the titles of Master of the Wisdom… From the buddhic level of awareness, the Master works; on it, He lives His life, undertakes His service and furthers the Plan in the three worlds and for the four kingdoms in nature. [12]

At this point, the Initiate realises that the antahkarana has been successfully completed and that there is a direct line of energy from the Spiritual Triad, along the antahkarana, to the mind and brain.

The Disciple then lays down the desire for life in form and formless life; he lays down the pride of the summit reached and renounces his Causal Body, which is replaced by the consciousness of the spirit. The causal body, as the vehicle of the soul, gradually dissolves through an act of spiritual will, no longer being necessary as an intermediary since, with the fusion of the lower mind with the higher, the entire bridge connects the Soul-infused Personality directly with the Monad. The centres at the Fourth Initiation – complete control of the heart centre

During the experience of the initiatory process in its first three phases, the initiate rejects control of the energies which are seated in the three centres below the diaphragm; he renounces their use for personality or selfish reasons. The centre at the base of the spine has received and distributed the energy of self-will (the will of the lower self) and is emptied and stands ready for the dynamic reception of the higher will which—using the spinal channel as the pathway or the symbol of the antahkarana—will pour into it from the highest head centre. The sacral centre which has received and distributed the energy which has fed the physical appetites to a far greater extent than is at present realised, is also under control—a control which is related to normal and proper direction from the throat centre and to the preservation of life on the physical plane, if the initiate chooses to incarnate for service ends. The solar plexus centre, which has received and distributed the energy of the astral plane, the energy of desire and of emotion, is likewise cleansed and purified; its energy is transmuted to such an extent that it can pass under the complete control of the heart centre, which henceforth and until the seventh Initiation of the Resurrection is “that whereby the initiate performs his hierarchical obligations”.

Therefore, at the Great Renunciation, the three lower centres reach a point of utter purification or speaking symbolically—of utter emptiness. No energy of their own (related to the selfish aeonial past) is left; they are simply pure receptacles for the energies of the three higher centres. The three lower centres are related to the three worlds of personality evolution; the three higher centres are related to hierarchical work and living and are under the control of the initiate—a control which becomes increasingly perfect until the seventh Initiation of Resurrection.

At that momentous resurrection, they become no longer of service; the Master needs no energy centres, and His consciousness is transcen-ded and transformed into a type of awareness of which those who have not experienced these initiations know nothing. If He chooses to take a physical vehicle (as many will when the Christ reappears and the Hierarchy is externalised on Earth), the Master will “function from the above to the below” and not (as is the case today with all disciples, though naturally not with the Masters) on “the below towards the above”. I am here quoting ancient phrases to be found in the archives of the Hierarchy. They will therefore need no centres on the etheric levels of our planetary physical plane. [13]

The mightiest lever of Cosmos, and the most sacred, is the heart.

Its consciousness fills Space; its light illumines Cosmos. [14]

The year 2025 is drawing to a close, a year during which the Conclave of the Hierarchy of Masters – held once every century – has turned its attention particularly towards Humanity; this date is also indicated by esoteric Teaching as propitious for outlining the steps of the future Externalisation of the Hierarchy. (1)
In this year, which has seen consciousnesses and hearts shaken and frightened, it is becoming increasingly urgent and necessary to invoke the Light and, at the same time, to take up and continue the legacy of those who, over the centuries, have taken on the role of Light Bearers.
The Teaching reminds us that: “The evidence of enlightenment is the best gift to evolution. The Command of cosmic life is a summons to light-sustaining achievement, and this mission is affirmed only by Light.” (2)
“Only the followers of the Hierarchy of Good can harness all energies into a channel of good. Indeed, only the fiery consciousness can take in the horizon of the World; therefore the events which are sweeping away the old accumulations elude the enemy. The manifestation of foresight really can be applied only through the focus of vision of the builders. Thus, the Fiery World has been predestined by the Bearers of Light.” (3)

Lifting our eyes to Heaven, the seat of all Light, our inner gaze, guided by the Soul, sees Saturn (4) crossing the gates of electric fire of Aries, the Initiator, the shining Homeland of Ideas, and in that fiery substance igniting the flame of creative Intelligence, the supernal Light that bursts into human consciousnesses and fills their chalices.
For the evolution of consciousness, Saturn represents the Light of Intelligence and the creative power of manas (5); consciousnesses purified and grown with disciplined awareness have freed themselves from the chilling and depriving influence of the Lord of karma (Saturn) and have “freed” themselves from the gravity of matter, setting out in full responsibility to cross that door that leads into the unlimited, into the “timeless”, into the Light supernal.
Saturn in Aries renews matter from within and leads it towards the celestial heights that make it transparent, purified by the fire of sacrifice, ready to unleash its virtues forged in harsh earthly experience, virtues that can now shine as pure Light and feed the spiritual flame that burns in every human being.

Humanity is the child of Heaven (Uranus, the primordial Light) and Earth (Gaia, the substantial matrix). In the image of the original offspring of the divine spouses, as recounted in Greek mythology (6) and in Plato’s myth of the cave (7), Humanity is initially kept hidden in the dark womb of Mother Gaia because it is inadequate in the eyes of the father, as well as chained in the darkness of matter and unable to turn its eyes, deluded by the changing forms, towards the sun of the spirit.
Each of us, immersed in material density and oblivious to the sky, is initially denied the celestial light that is ultimately conquered through suffering and conscious sacrifice.
But when light has made its way into human consciousness, the Light Bearers arise, first isolated, then increasingly numerous.
“… the Spirits who are Bearers of Light, filled with self-sacrifice, rush to the Earth for purpose of salvation.” (8)

The Light Bearers walk the earthly paths without fearing the darkness of matter. They have experienced the harshness of the material world but have been able to burn away the dross that hinders the splendour of the soul in the fire of Service and Unity.
“All the existing laws of Cosmic Construction indicate this unbreakable unity. How otherwise could the events of the world be explained? All Light-bearers manifest vigilance for this unity. Nourished by the unity of Cosmic Fire, each spirit compares equally with a spark of Fohat. On the path to the Fiery World let us strive with regenerated consciousness for union with the Cosmos.” (9)

The Light Bearers walk the paths of men in joy. Their hymns intertwine with the beauty of the flowers, the brightness of the stars, the purity of waters; their steps are capable of engraving the mark of the spirit in forms and transforming the dragging of existence into the light and luminous rhythm of Being.
Their companions are the dancing Muses, inspirers of solemn musicality, and their Masters Mercury and Venus (10), advocates of fusion and enlightenment.
“How necessary it is to get used to understanding everything spiritual! We can expect nothing from the heart if our thought does not find cause to rejoice in the very mention of anything spiritual. Indeed, we must attain the stage where we radiate light from our innermost being, for it is then that we are true coworkers with the higher worlds. Radiating the light of Grace, we are at the same time doctors, creators, and protectors on the descending line of the Hierarchy. First we see the outer light, and then we come to know the light within ourselves; but only after the kindling of the “torch” can we radiate Light.” (11)

The Light Bearers see the future, whose features are beginning to emerge from the grey rubble of the present. In their gaze there is no anxiety, no judgement, no vengeance.
They proceed steadfastly in the splendour of their vision and lay the first stones of the New Culture and Civilisation, certain that the seeds they have sown in space will blossom in due course, covering the desert with a mantle of life; “… in flowers Heaven settles onto Earth”. (12)
They advance in the footsteps of the Masters, honouring the work of those who came before them, forging new paths for those who will come after them, working tirelessly, in Beauty and Light, to erect the planetary Temple.
“We end one phase with a holiday and begin the next phase with work. Let us determine what to do—to act. In this eternal action is Our holiday. Only, in following Our example you should act without getting upset. Desire to act in calmness, knowing that Our spring trickles through you ceaselessly. And when you ask yourself, “Where are the Ones who made the promises?” We are standing right behind you. And We rejoice, measuring how much the flower of your aura has grown, for this is Our Garden. Beyond the distant horizon, Light unites hearts.” (13)

The Light Bearers are the workers in the Lord’s “field”.
They know the Plan and help to bring Light and Love to building sites around the world. Their wage is joy, the “special wisdom” that resonates within them, and they know nothing of denial or impatience.
Little by little, they recognise each other and rebuild the ancient partnerships that have already seen them work together in the past for the common Good.

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

01. According to esoteric Teachings, 2025 will see the centenary Conclave of the Masters of the Hierarchy. As explained by the Tibetan Master, the planetary Logos of the Earth, Sanat Kumara, periodically emits a “Sound”, the imprint of his Will, to which the members of the Hierarchy respond. This impulse: “… is held at one hundred year intervals, and as far as our modern humanity is concerned, these Councils have been held—under our arbitrary dates—in 1725, 1825, 1925. At these Councils, Those Who are responsible for the planetary development, along certain predetermined lines, make Their reports; decision is made as to new unfoldments; certain types of energy, cosmic and solar, are made available for the carrying forward of the Plans which implement the Purpose; the evolution of consciousness in the three worlds receives, necessarily, major attention.” (from A. 07. In his dialogue The Republic, Plato introduces the myth of the cave, which tells the story of prisoners chained since childhood at the back of a cave and able to look only at the wall in front of them. Behind them burns a fire and runs a raised road where men pass carrying various shapes which, through a play of reflections, are projected onto the wall. The prisoners, knowing nothing of this coming and going, believe that the shadows projected on the wall are reality. If a prisoner were freed and could turn his face towards the exit of the cave, he would first be dazzled by the light and his eyes would suffer. He would then notice the shapes carried by the men and would be incredulous and doubtful because they would appear less real to him than those he had contemplated until then on the wall. If this prisoner were then able to leave the cave and be exposed to the light of the Sun, he would not be able to see anything at first because he would be completely dazzled, but eventually he would be able to see the Sun itself and come to understand that it is the Sun that governs the events of the visible world and is the cause of everything that he and his companions saw.

On this Date and Direction among Great Hearts, let us therefore assert from the Heart of One Humanity the Return/Reappearance of the World Teacher Christ-Maitreya, Who will restore within us the will-to-good through the Power of Love, the power to make sacred (=sacrifice) all things, life, existence.

As we did in a previous article, let us therefore absorb some excerpts from the text The Reappearance of the Christ, preparing our smiling hearts for this marvelous reality foreseen by the Evolutionary Plan:

The Reappearance of the Christ

“What is the treasure of the heart? Not only benevolence, not only compassion, not only devotion to the Hierarchy but consonance with the Cosmic Consciousness when the heart, besides its own rhythm, even partakes in the cosmic rhythm. Such a heart can be trusted; it possesses straight-knowledge, it feels and knows, and as a manifested link with the Higher World it expresses the indisputable …” (Agni Yoga Collection, Hierarchy § 106)

Inspired by the Muses, let us reflect on the power of thought, which is the emanation of Manas, the divine Mind.

“Manas is, really WILL working itself out on the physical plane, and the truth of this will be seen when it is realised that all our planes form the cosmic physical plane, whereon an Entity, inconceivably greater than our Logos, is working out a set purpose through the Logos, through us, through all Spirit-substance that is included within His sphere of radiatory activity.” (1)

“Manas is the active will of an Entity working itself out through all the lesser lives who go to the content of the ring-pass-not or sphere of influence of the indwelling Existence. Therefore—as concerning man on this chain—he is but expressing the purpose and the will in action of the planetary Logos in Whose body he is a cell or lesser life.” (2)

Thought is Fire, Magnetism, Light, and generates creative vortexes; thought is lightning that flashes beyond earthly limits, cancelling time and distance; thought is sharp as a sword, and the thoughts of all Thinkers intertwine and compose themselves into a network of luminous impulses that connects worlds.

Thought evaluates, orders, creates, radiates; thought lives on the future and sows constructive impulses.

“Verily, life is created only by the power of thought. It is not the voices heard from platforms that create the future, not uttered words borne out in space; it is the power of thought radiating with cosmic striving. Thus, the carriers of fire in spirit and heart powerfully affirm Our Will.” (3)

“The consciousness that encompasses only the present, without any thought of the future, cannot adhere to evolution, because the chain of centuries disappears for such a consciousness. Hence, when the consciousness expands it encompasses the great leading chain of causes and effects.” (4)

Thought saturates Space, and therefore everyone, with their own dose of creative ability, is able to cooperate with the Cosmos.

“If one can confirm the presence of thought even in a stone, then what a clear rainbow of thought fills space! One must become used to the fact that thought permeates all that exists. Certainly this reality, ponderable and not abstract, remains defined as energy but preserves the potentiality of conscious evolution.
Until recently the sensitivity of plants was considered to be just instinct, but after investigation one now can attribute this “instinct” to the domain of thought. Hence, one must observe upward and downward. The human creature shows a characteristic error in presuming to himself the exclusive ability to think. By the most simple examples, one can demonstrate how human thought is affected by age, circumstances, and nationality. It is striking to see how weak is the rudimentary thinking of the average man; yet anonymously-sent spatial thoughts will uplift his spirit. You know that a radio, with slight alteration, can receive thoughts from space. And thoughts, as living matter, can both nourish and be nourished.
Reflect on the manifestation of thought. Realize its omnipresence and rejoice at the laboratory of thought that, from the mineral cell up to the Infinite, links all kingdoms. The magnetic wave, the electric spark, and thought—these three voyagers greet those who strive into the Infinite.” (5)

“Verily, thought is infinite. The domains of the Cosmos are revealed to it. There are no limitations where the spirit rules. Is not thought, which pervades all and manifests the beauty of the Cosmos, miraculous? Thought, emanating from the Depths of the Cosmos, revealing all sources, is the most fiery of the manifestations of space. Even if thought does not find its application upon Earth, nevertheless, it fierily saturates space with these creative records. Thought-forms intensify each vital designation, as a fiery impulse of life. The source of creative power is inexhaustible when life is filled with thought. Therefore, to think means to construct life. To think means to affirm the forms of life. The threshold reached by thought always leads to the destined goal, because thought rules with eternal Fire. Thought, which leads to the might of great Cosmic Constructiveness, is not sufficiently studied.” (6)

On a human level, true Thinkers who operate from the plane of the abstract mind are Servers of Humanity and, in imitation of the Greater Ones, they construct luminous and directive thought forms and launch them in Space as beacons to guide invoking consciousnesses and draw them into increasingly rarefied and elevated regions.

Every thought must therefore have a precise evolutionary purpose. If it is well constructed and supported by a strong commitment, it will endure for a long time in space, joining others of the same nature and producing ever new combinations suited to the times and to consciousnesses.

“A thought unsupported by commitment is of little value, but when spurred towards a well-defined goal, it acts with vigour. People do not usually envisage the goal of their desires, even though this is a necessity that is very difficult to understand. This results in weak and ineffective actions, which fail, because of the lack of remarkable outcomes, to discover the power of thought, and people continue to neglect it. In the vast majority one does not recognise the creative virtue of desire supported by thought. This explains the general slowness of the spiritual progress of humanity, on which the poor ability to assimilate subtle energies depends.” (7)

“When he understands that he has real creative powers, Man will abandon gold and other stones, and his prosperity will be equal to that of the angels, who draw from themselves what they need and know no scarcity. Awaiting this discovery of cosmic value, other entities have been accompanying Man, protecting him, caring for him, preparing him and guiding him since time immemorial, in secret silence. But Space awaits the birth of human creative consciousness, the Crown of Existence.” (8)

True Thinkers are artists, they are visionaries. They have the courage and inner strength to solicit spatial substance in order to draw out what it veils, both on the subtle and physical planes. They produce Beauty and reveal the splendour of Truth. Each of their thoughts implies an assumption of responsibility for the actions that follow, not only towards themselves, but before the entire Cosmos.

“When the spirit develops in the direction of Infinity, then the feeling of responsibility acquires the power manifested by the Creators of Cosmos. Begin to realize personal responsibility and strive toward cosmic responsibility. There is the step of personal responsibility, the step of responsibility for human thought, the step of responsibility for human evolution, the step of responsibility for a better future. When thinking will be perfected, it will be possible to say that the time of construction of a better future is near.” (9)

“When the great Service for the good of humanity is given, responsibility should be carried accordingly. When Our vessel is in the hands of the Carrier, it means that dignity should be preserved, in order that the wondrous vessel may keep its wings. Verily, it is befitting that responsibility be carried by a tempered spirit and with the entire solicitude of the heart.” (10)

If it is thought that provokes action, it is nevertheless the fiery potential of the spirit that creates it, and men are divided according to that potential.

“Fiery thought knows no limits. As a forerunner of infinite creativeness, thought is impelled into space. It is necessary to accustom the consciousness to this endless manifestation. Measuring all concepts against Infinity, one may arrive at the step of Cosmic constructiveness. Only co-measurement can reveal that great step, which is powerful through fiery Infinity. Fire is manifested as impulse in the heart, as movement of thought, as the great Unifier of Worlds. One must understand creativeness as the unification of various energies manifested by the Fire of space and the spirit of man. Science of the future will reveal the laws of these unions, for it is needed to establish the most subtle cosmic cooperation, so as to accomplish that about which the Fiery Servitors are thinking. All fiery formulas live, awaiting their incarnation. Therefore, science can strive to seek out the spatial energies.” (11)

The Servers of Humanity, who are increasingly working together for the common Good, must therefore above all strive to build the future together with the fire of thought, which is the evocative power of the new world, without allowing themselves to be caught up in events, which are particularly tragic today, and in the binary ordinariness of the emotional reaction typical of the masses, which produces a dense and smoky layer around the planet, often confusing even men of Good Will.

Remaining there, in the fire of the air, without distracting ourselves, without deflecting, full of joy and love, let us then distil drops of fiery thought to pour into human hearts to evoke that power that belongs to them and which translates into Harmony.

And so, letting ourselves be carried by the updrafts, on the wave of the words of the Master of Agni Yoga, let us sing together with the Muses:

Soar with your thoughts.
Fly by affirmation.
Fly by love.
And you will realize the joy of flying.
And the gulf of life will remain far below you.
And a miracle of flaming colors will radiate
near the splendor of the Southern Cross.

Capricorn is a symbol of rigour, discipline and practicality; Mercury is the planet of communication and thought, lord of Harmony and Beauty; Thalia, she who is festive, is the Muse of comedy, irony, lightness and Joy.

Among the rigorous lines of Capricorn, Mercury dances with Thalia, bringing ideas and light words along rigorous paths… it is not fleeting gladness, it is not a floating dream, but perfect Joy: that which arises when the mind knows how to organise light, when a smile becomes a concrete gesture and the heart smiles with wisdom.

Thus, creativity finds a home in pragmatism, lightness is clothed in structure and happiness, finally, is not an idea but a possible reality when one moves from self-love to love for others, because the gift of oneself to others expands the Light of Joy.

Maitreya is sending courage. Maitreya will accept the gift. Maitreya feels the love with which it is given. Maitreya blesses the labor done joyously. Maitreya is sending work to the earthly plane in the name of the miraculous. Walk forward radiant! It is a joy for Me to guide those who smile. Discover the Teaching of Light in each manifestation. Resourcefulness is a quality My disciples possess. (Agni Yoga Series, Leaves of Morya’s Garden II § 97)

The mind that organises joy transforms lightness into concrete happi-ness.
Mercury conjunct Thalia in Capricorn represents the mind that, with discipline and structure, manages to bring creativity and lightness into reality. Joy is the end result: concrete, organised and conscious happi-ness.

… We deny nothing, for that which exists is undeniable. But it must be applied. Then there can be neither grief nor despair—only support. (Agni Yoga Series, Agni Yoga § 250)

When speaking of Joy, one’s mind turns to St Francis and his “Perfect Joy”, one of the most famous stories in the Franciscan tradition, recounted in the Little Flowers.

Perfect Joy is a central concept in the spirituality of St Francis of Assisi and represents a state of authentic joy and inner serenity that is found in accepting suffering and injustice with patience, love and gratitude.

In a dialogue with Brother Leo, Francis explains that true joy does not depend on external circumstances, but on our inner attitude and our relationship with the divine.

St Francis was walking with Brother Leo on a cold winter’s day. He explained that perfect joy does not come from converting many infidels, nor from performing miracles, nor from having great spiritual gifts. But if, when returning tired and cold to the monastery, the friars did not recognise them and drove them away with insults, and they endured it with patience and rejoicing for the love of Christ: behold, therein lies perfect joy.

We live in a world where happiness seems to be connected to success and recognition, while Francis shows us that true joy does not depend on what others do or think, but on the ability to remain centred in love, even when facing pain and rejection.

In relationships, perfect joy means remaining calm even when we are not understood; at work and in society, it means not measuring our worth by applause but by the love we put into them; in our inner life, it means choosing to smile even when it is freezing outside, because inside us there is a light that never goes out.

When we feel forgotten or judged, we must remember that joy does not depend on the gaze of others, but on the love of and for Christ, the Principle and Prince of Love-Wisdom.

It is necessary to have a heart that knows how to smile, that does not harden in resentment but opens up like a flower in the snow; we must not seek happiness in success or in praise and rewards, but in the certainty that, even when everything seems against us, we must, like Francis, find perfect joy in humility, patience and a love that no closed door can extinguish.

Perhaps all this may seem too arduous a way of valuing suffering, almost taking pleasure in it, demanding too much of poor human creatures, and the temptation may be to give up sparkling joy for fear of going through terrible pain.

In the end, Francis says to Brother Leo:

And yet, hear the conclusion, Brother Leo. Above all the graces and gifts of the Holy Spirit, which Christ grants to his friends, is to overcome oneself and willingly endure pain, insults, reproach and hardship for the love of Christ; for we cannot glory in all the other gifts of God, since they are not ours but God’s, as the Apostle says: ‘What do you have that you did not receive from God? And if you received it from him, why do you boast as if you had it from yourself?’

Therefore, it is essential to place Christ at the centre of our lives and strive to become like Him! We must prepare ourselves to share not only suffering with Him, but also immense joy!

It is a tough proposition, difficult to put into practice because human beings like to be moved by the sight of a baby in a manger, surrounded by singing angels, but we must always remember that, in the background of the scene, there is a looming cross that is nonetheless salvation for all those who rely on it.

Perhaps we could begin by facing the inevitable hardships of daily life, accepting them with patience and courage, not dismissing them with easy complaints. When greater troubles come, we will already be trained and therefore stronger.

Perhaps perfect joy is not something to be conquered but recognised. Perhaps it is the silence that remains when all is quiet, the light that filters through even on grey days… it is that smile that arises not because everything is going well, but because we have chosen to love anyway.

In the end, perfect Joy is a small daily miracle… it is knowing how to say thank you even when nothing shines… it is discovering that peace does not depend on circumstances, but on a new way of looking at the world and ourselves, and then even the most ordinary day can become a holy place.

As Francis would say, this inner feeling does not dress in elegant clothes, but walks in dusty sandals… sometimes it stumbles, laughs, gets up and continues to sing because true joy is being on a journey, light and free, even with a few pebbles in our sandals but with so much Heaven in our heart!

Let people recall how successful they were because of Our Help, and how they actually felt that a Leading Hand had touched them. Some may have brushed it aside as if it were an annoying fly, but there were those who accepted it with gratitude.
Strong are those who are filled with gratitude, for their wings can grow! They will not be afraid of Our commissions. They know that We are greatly burdened, yet rejoice on the way to the Garden of Beauty! (Agni Yoga Series, Supermundane § 140)

Mythology has given us the image of Saturn as a gloomy and inflexible deity, capable of devouring his children because he was obsessed with the lust for power and terrified of the inexorable passage of time that would consume all his achievements and accomplishments, forcing him to give life to new forms and new beings that would snatch away his primacy and royalty.
However, Saturn is also remembered as the ancestral agricultural god capable of inseminating the earth, as the prudent and just ruler of the Golden Age, as the impeccable yet implacable Lord of karma who, in his thirst for justice, unfailingly balances debts and credits, thus revealing reality and the facts that surround it for what they are, in other words, impersonal and equanimous, able to show the truth to those who look within themselves and around them with clear eyes, free from any clouding.
People have become very fond of the word “karma”. It is now repeated in various parts of the world, but few have learned its meaning. (…) They firmly believe that somewhere there exist the Lords of Karma, who will be kind enough to free them from even the most grievous fate! Few understand that the effect of the Law cannot be changed without mutual effort. Man is ever ready to create a painful karma by thought and deed, yet he hopes that by some miracle from beyond the mountains he will be liberated from its grievous consequences. People sound like children when discussing karma, and expect someone else to take responsibility for their behavior. (1)

Man is athirst with illusions and more and more draws away from reality. From all the great laws and principles, it is possible to point out distorted crumbs which have beclouded the consciousness. What, then, has remained of all the fiery Teachings? (2)

The myth also tells us about Calliope, the most eminent of the Muses, mother of Orpheus and Lino, the divine singers who, with the power of their words and music, were able to enchant living beings and recreate reality, both inner and outer.
After Calliope, with her children and sisters, the Muses, sang of Being, what remains is the jewel hidden in the heart of Being itself, the Inviolate, the Unnameable, pure Beingness, which in essence is Truth, Beauty and Goodness. Having caught a glimpse of the light of this jewel allows one to live philosophically, to inhabit the world poetically, to govern oneself and reality with loving wisdom.
The term [philosophy] – emphasises Madame Blavatsky – is composed of two Greek words whose meaning is intended to indicate its secret sense, and should be interpreted as “wisdom of love”. (…) It means “divine love”, that universal element of divine omnipresence diffused throughout Nature, which is at once the principal cause and effect. The “wisdom of love” (or philosophy) meant attraction to and love of everything hidden behind the objective phenomenon and its knowledge. (3)
Calliope is also the image of that burning fire of creative thought capable of bringing those who let themselves be inspired by her uplifting song to the World of Ideas; she who, with her profound touch, gave life to occult philosophy, unfolded language, combined knowledge and wisdom, the “beautiful voice” of the heart that illuminates the mind.

Life is comprised of an eternal succession of ideas and of manifestations of cosmic energies. How can a spirit who does not project his thought into the realm of ideas adopt the concept of Infinity! When thought will take on the significance of something vital and realizable, it will reveal to man where is joy and where is truth. The quests of thought have led to unification with the Fire of Space. The quests of thought have led to the acceptance of the records of the past. The quests of thought will lead to the realization of higher worlds. The quests of thought will lead to the irradiance of the Mother of the World. Striving will lead to boundless beauty! (4)

Today, according to the heliocentric perspective, Saturn and Calliope are in conjunction in the purifying and unfathomable waters of Pisces and ignite in its substance the splendour of wisdom and Truth.

There is no falsehood in Saturn’s incessant work of regulating thoughts, feelings and actions so that they conform to the evolutionary wave and leave no ripples or obstacles in the individual and collective path; there is no deception in the cold, precise light that Saturn casts upon us, revealing the shadow we so fear and often stubbornly deny, showing us the ‘naked truth’ of who we are.
The Blessed One said, “Truth is the sole source of courage”. When correctly understood, truth is the wisest and most beautiful chapter in the book of the Cosmos. (5)

There is no falsehood even in the sweet singing of Calliope, who raises her voice to show us the World of Ideas, to urge us to model our song on hers and reach the immaculate heights of the spirit; there is no deception in her wise and far-sighted progress, while her steps are accompanied by the light of the right word and the yearning for Truth, capable of dispelling the deluding mists of what is debatable.
It is important… to understand how we can reduce the consequences of relativity. They can be reduced by real truthfulness; but truthfulness can be perceived only through spirituality, which is why the awakening of spirituality is a condition for knowing the cosmos. (6)

The world is immersed in lies and deception, clouded and deluded by the many swirling forms that entice Humanity, cajole it and confuse it, making what is only transitory and ephemeral appear real.
Truth seems increasingly unattainable and unknowable, hidden by the countless distorted masks with which men veil its face.
‘The world must be saved’, we hear repeated from many quarters and in many different voices, and the Teaching warns us that “the one salvation is to turn the spirit toward the light of Truth”. (7)
Salvation therefore lies in allowing the splendour of Truth, Beauty and Goodness to flourish.
And in order for the world to brim with flowers, it is necessary to sow the seeds of Truth, of Beauty and the Good in the gardens of Humanity’s consciousness.
Starting now.

Go beyond the roots of eternal Truth and there is a great deal of dust.
The time has come to get rid of the excess baggage.

Urusvati knows how emphatically We insist upon the need for harmony and unity. We often speak about unification, but now We wish to point out a special aspect of this concept—harmony. Only unification will bring right results. It is true that any kind of unification will intensify energy. Even unity in evil can be effective, but it can never be harmonious, for evil by its very nature is disharmonious. Also, unity in evil cannot last, and its results will be vague. But goodness is always harmonious, and it alone can produce meaningful results… (Agni Yoga Series – Supermundane §349)

Today, in the Space of the heliocentric Heaven conditioned by the 4^th Ray of Scorpio, the Sign of the Warrior (Disciple-Humanity) who fights its battle to emerge triumphant, a special conjunction is ignited, the conjunction between the esoteric and exoteric Ruler of this Sign, Mars, a non-sacred Luminary, Guardian of the 6^th Ray of Desire and Idealism, that bursting energy which, in the battlefield of the three worlds (physical, psychic and spiritual), through struggle, separation and conflict, implements the process of purification and aims at an evolutionary conquest, and the hierarchical Ruler of this Sign, Mercury, Master of Harmony, Keeper of the 4^th Ray of Harmony through conflict.

Let us emphasise this once more: It is the Ray of Harmony or Beauty—Harmony through control, that control entailing the knowledge of wisdom… It is the equilibrising of all through the realisation of the laws of magnetism… (Alice A. Bailey, A Treatise on Cosmic Fire, p. 585)

This 4^th Ray of Harmony through conflict is the method of evolution for the 4^th human Kingdom towards the Goal of Evolution, the development of Consciousness, of Love-Wisdom (2^nd Ray).

For these reasons, this bright day dedicated to achieved Harmony, appears to be the perfect moment to honour the Law of Magnetic Control and the principle on which it is based: “The lower is always controlled from above”.

To better understand the Function of this Law, here are some insights drawn from esoteric Teachings.

This is the fourth among the seven systemic laws, which govern the manifestation of our solar Logos:

1. The Law of Vibration.
2. The Law of Cohesion.
3. The Law of Disintegration.
4. The Law of Magnetic Control.
5. The Law of Fixation.
6. The Law of Love.
7. The Law of Sacrifice and Death. (Ibid., p. 6)

The Law of Magnetic Control holds sway paramountly on the buddhic plane, and in the development of the control of this law lies hid the control of the personality by the Monad via the egoic body. (Ibid., p. 569)

The fourth law… holds sway on the fourth subplane of each plane, in the fourth round, and in the fourth root-race specially. [the Atlantean]. We shall then have the correspondence as follows:

4^th Law…………….….. Magnetic Control.
4^th Ray………..………  Harmony or Beauty.
4^th Plane………….….. The buddhic.
4^th Subplane….……..  Buddhic Magnetic Control.
4^th Round……….. Dense Physical Magnetism, controlling sex manifestation on the physical plane, and inspired by astral desire, the reflection of the buddhic.
4^th Root-Race…….. The Atlantean, in which the above qualities specially demonstrated. (Ibid., p. 574)

This Law originates from the Law of Cohesion, one of the branch laws of the cosmic Law of Attraction. It is interesting to notice how this law demonstrates in this Love-System in a threefold manner:
On the plane of the Monad, as the law of cohesion, the law of birth, if we might use that term, resulting in the appearance of the Monads in their seven groups. Love the source, and the Monad of love, the result.
On the plane of buddhi, as the law of magnetic control. It shows itself as the love-wisdom aspect, irradiating the ego, and eventually gathering to itself the essence of all experience, garnered, via the Ego, through the personality lives, and controlled throughout from the plane of buddhi. Magnetism, and the capacity to show love, are occultly synonymous.
On the astral plane, as love demonstrating through the personality. All branches of the law of attraction, demonstrating in this system, show themselves as a force that ingathers, that tends to coherence, that results in adhesion, and leads to absorption. All these terms are needed to give a general idea of the basic quality of this law. (Ibid., pp. 576-577)

The Law of Magnetic Control* is the basic law controlling the Spiritual Triad. Through this law, the force of evolution drives the Ego to progress through the cycle of reincarnation back to union with his kind. Through separation he finds himself, and then—driven by the indwelling buddhic or Christ principle—transcends himself, and finds himself again in all selves. This law holds the evolving lower self in a coherent form. It controls the Ego in the causal body, in the same way that the Logos controls the Monad on the second plane.
It is the law of the buddhic plane; the Master is one Who can function on the buddhic levels, and Who has magnetic control in the three worlds. The lower is always controlled from above, and the effect the buddhic levels have on the three lower is paramount, though that is scarcely yet conceded by our thinkers. It is the Law of Love, in the three worlds, that holds all together, and that draws all upward.  It is the demonstration, in the Triad, of the Law of Attraction.
On the path of involution this law works with the permanent atoms in the causal body. It is the buddhic principle, and its relation with the lower permanent atom of the Triad is the mainspring of the life of the Ego. On the path of descent it has much to do with the placing of the permanent atoms, but this matter is very abstruse, and the time has not yet come for further elucidation. At the third outpouring, (in which the fourth kingdom, the human, was formed), it was this Law of Magnetic Control that effected the juncture of astro-animal man, and the descending Monad, using the spark of mind as the method of at-one-ment. Again we can see how it works. The monadic plane, the buddhic plane, and the astral plane are all three closely allied, and we find there the line of least resistance. Hence the facility with which the mystic contacts the buddhic and even higher planes. The lines of least resistance in the three systems are:

System I.  Physical, mental, and atmic. The atmic was the highest point of achievement in that system.
             II. Astral, buddhic and monadic.
             III. Mental, atmic and logoic.

Note the correspondence therefore to be seen between the fourth kingdom and the working of this, the fourth law. It is of vital moment in this fourth chain.
As regards human evolution, this fourth law is of prime importance at this time. The aim of human endeavour is both to be controlled by this law, and likewise to wield it in service.
It is the law whereby sex expression, as we know it, is transmuted and elevated; sex is only the physical plane demonstration of the Law of Attraction; it is the working out of that law in the human kingdom, and in all the lower kingdoms, too. The love of all that breathes, and the attraction that works out in service, is the same thing as demonstrated in the Triad. Sex expression, the coming together of two, becomes transmuted into the coming together of many for acts of service, which will give birth to new ideals, and to a new race—the spiritual.
Here I might point out a numerical fact that may be of interest in connection with the fourth hierarchy. This human hierarchy is the fourth, as we know, yet if we count the five hierarchies that have passed on, it is in reality the ninth. Nine is the number of initiation, the number of the adept, and of the man who functions in his buddhic vehicle.
The fourth Ray also operates in close connection with the fourth Law. It is the Ray of Harmony or Beauty—Harmony through control, that control entailing the knowledge of wisdom. It is the harmony of similarity; it is the equilibrising of all through the realisation of the laws of magnetism that produce the co-ordination of the many diverse into the one homogeneous; magnetism governs the synthesis of the many aspects into a form of unity. This harmony is reached through the fifth plane, and the fifth Ray of Concrete Knowledge acts as a step to the fourth, for many who work on the fifth Ray pass eventually to the fourth. In this system the fifth Ray is of paramount importance in the development of all egos. Each must pass some time on it before definitely remaining on his monadic Ray. In many incarnations much time is spent on the fifth subplane of each plane, which is governed principally by the fifth Ray.
All pass then on the fourth subplane governed by the fourth Ray, and in this particular period of the fourth round in the fourth chain, more time is spent on the fourth subplane by evolving Egos than on any other. Many come into incarnation directly on to this plane, and it is here that they begin to think harmoniously. (Ibid., pp. 583-86)

The fourth Ray and the fourth Kingdom form a point of harmony for the lower three, and all four then pass into the major or upper three. This is worthy of our serious thought, and the analogy of the fourth plane will also be apparent. For this system, the buddhic plane, the human kingdom, and the fourth Ray of Harmony or Beauty or Synthesis, have a point of correspondence, just as the fourth rootrace is the one in which the synthesis is first observed—the door into the fifth kingdom of Spirit being then opened; the fourth rootrace also developed the astral capacity that made contact with the fourth or buddhic level possible. (Ibid., p. 588)

The achievement of the spirit consists in that amidst earthly difficulties and struggles the spirit develops the higher striving. … When it is said, “the achievement of spirit will be with those who have known the struggle and search for knowledge,” it means this will be a fiery attainment… (Agni Yoga Series, Fiery World III § 37)

* Note the correspondence that can be outlined here. On the second plane we have the Law of Cohesion-Love. On the second plane of the Triad in manifestation, the Law of Magnetic Control-Love. And even lower, on the second plane of personality, the Law of Love. The precision of the analogy is very interesting and offers food for thought.

Neptune, the Christ, great Master of the West and current Initiator of Humanity [1], brings the Earth, the solar Disciple, the One Humanity, back to the solar Purpose through Fire and the Vision of Oneness.

Neptune is the outermost of the sacred Luminaries, delimiting the solar Community, but at the same time extending it to Infinity, according to the first rule of every real communion. It opens and closes the doors, and offers the depths to the heights; its Orbit embraces the entire progress of the solar Plan and guides it back to the cosmic Plan.

Neptune, Master and Initiator of Humanity, is the Guardian of Values and Communion. He elevates human consciousness by liberating and integrating it, step by step, into the greater unity. He is the powerful coordinator of social developments and, with His mastery, teaches us to read Reality.

He initiates Humanity into the discovery of the music of the Far-off Worlds, urging it to fly into the depths of Total Being, to gravitate towards and merge with the glorious beauty of the One, the central Fire of the Good, the True and the Beautiful, the central fulcrum of the Art of Living of the new solar Culture!

“Upon Oneness stands the entire affirmed Be-ness. The operating law is so stupendous that all cosmic construction rests upon this principle. In every manifestation this law assembles the parts, uniting those which belong to each other. This great law is the Crown of Cosmos.” (Infinity II § 49)

The only salvation lies in turning the spirit towards the light of Truth.

The spirit magnetised by the Light of Truth and drawn to the driving force of the Order of divine Creators, the Hierarchy of Masters, the focus, realises the Art of Being and gives wings to the future.

“As Cosmos has its center of Cosmic Fire, so humanity must realize its fiery center in the Hierarchy, which guides humanity and imbues it with the powerful leading principle. Thus, one can strive to the realization of the Highest Hierarchy of the fiery Heart. Thus, humanity must realize all the best strivings. Only thus can one progress in evolution. Verily, only by adhering to Hierarchy can one advance. Hence, in the great time of shifting, humanity can be saved only through Hierarchy. Therefore it is so imperative to realize the greatness of the Leader as the Savior of nations. The time is austere, but great. Thus we shall construct the great future.” (Hierarchy § 444)

With eyes fixed on the mastery of the divine Centres in the shining fire of light, the radiant heart of the Planetary Server, One with Heaven and with Will renewed in the sacred Power of the Master of solar Communion, is ignited with new tension and responds to the call of the Master of Agni Yoga who urges the realisation of the Hierarchy: the great centre of light.

In rhythmic coordination with the solar Brotherhood, it saturates Space with the key Ideas associated with the 6^th Ray, Teacher and Focus, excerpted from the book Hierarchy of the Agni Yoga Teaching.

This is one of the 7 dates chosen to solemnly celebrate the Directions traced by our Earth, the “sphere of experience”, Humanity as the solar Centre, with its “Elder Brothers”, the solar Star of the 7 Sacred Luminaries, the Prototypes of the Seven Ashrams/planetary Centres.

The sacred Communion of the solar Master elevates human consciousnesses and merges them in a greater unity; with His Power He opens the heart to the beauty of the Infinite and leads it into the spiral of new horizons.

In this wake of sacred Communion the planetary Server, committed to giving continuity to the creative and causative action of the solar motion, adds its vital fire to consciously and responsibly build a new Community, enlivened by solar wisdom, and contribute to realising the Plan of Love and Light on Earth.

May consciousness therefore become increasingly capable of cooperating with the Hierarchies of Heaven and Earth, for without the principle of Hierarchy the creative virtue of the spirit is inconceivable. Understanding the universal Teaching develops the creative faculty of the spirit, and every heart must find the key and activate the powerful lever of faith in order to find its own way. Evolution and all renewal are forged in the luminous path that the Master points out and the treasure of the Universe gives us.

“All that lives in the seed of the spirit and aspires toward Light is propelled by the Teacher to that center which is the Magnet. The Teacher directs all issue of the seed to the center. Space is permeated with these centers. All energies strive to the center of spirit…”. (Infinity I § 384)

“Only the grandeur of Cosmos will impel
the spirit toward the Inaccessible Heights.”
