So when God doesn't want you to go hiking, he pours a bucket of cold water on your head. When you insist, he then throws buckets of cold water for hours on end. When you still go forward, he begins to make rivers out of your trail. When that doesn't stop you, he throws branches on your head. While that doesn't stop you, he floods the little streams, making it brutal to cross. Just before you reach the top, He knocks over a gigantic tree across your trail that makes it impossible to go on. After hiking all the way back down to see if there is another trail up, the rangers say "nope, those are closed".Needless to say, I'm soaked, beat up, bruised and battered. With more rain and storms in the week, I will have to tackle those trails some other time. Back home I go.]]>
