Rocket League developers have been saying that they contact Sony EVERY DAY to discuss cross play between all platforms, Sony is the only one that has not agreed to this even though it is possible for Playstation to cross play Rocket League with other platforms. Can this decision be the beginning of the end for Playstation 4?

The Last of Us 2 is a Playstation exclusive that everyone is waiting for. On our 4th of July edition of The Downloadable Gaming Podcast we take you through more stories happening in our world of video games. We start off (once again) with Sony and their refusal to play ball when it comes to cross play. Even though we may not get the game for a few years, there have been behind the scenes photos on Twitter that have sparked a lot of attention. Including...A pig with a motion capture harness? Rumors are flying through the air that Dragon Age may make a return with a new sequel. The rumors are saying that something is happening with Dragon Age and the team is hiring a lot of people. We have not had a Dragon Age game since Inquisition released around three years ago. The Saints are making a comeback! No, it is not another installment of the hilarious Saints Row franchise. Agents of Mayhem; which takes part in the same universe s Saints Row, will be adding some of our favorite intergalactic gang bangers into the game. The characters that have been announced are Pierce Washington, Olig, and everyone's favorite badass; Johnny Gat. If they still have the same personalities as they did in all of the Saints Row games. We will definitely be buying. A founder of both the Dishonored franchise and Arkane studios has announced that he ill be leavingthe studio...Will this have any effect on the games in the future? Nintendo Switch accomplishes a big milestone, being the fastest console to sell one million units in Japan. Even though the overall record does go to Sony's Playstation 4 with over sixty million units sold in fouryears, are we seeing the new king of the consoles? While Nintendo Switch is thriving in Japan, Xbox is struggling, The Xbox One managed to sell only around eighty thousand units in Japan, leading to question on whether they will decide against shipping out the Xbox One X when it releases. Phil Spencer crushed those rumors stating that The Xbox One X will indeed be sold in Japan and that they "will never give up on Japan". Nintendo has also released their newest handheld console, the Nintendo 2DXL. This is thought to be the more affordable version of the 3DSXL, as well as Nintendo's final handheld console now that the Switch is available. Who knows how this will sell now that everyone in the world wants a Switch. Nintendo keeps the news going with the announcement that we will be getting a SNES mini.
