Strong Nor’easter imminent….

A strong Nor’easter is developing off the coast and is heading in our direction.

The rain will develop tonight and it will become windy. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Tomorrow will be rainy and windy with some flooding likely and coastal flooding will be highly likely with the onshore wind flow. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.

Sunday will be rainy and windy with some flooding likely and coastal flooding highly likely as the strong onshore wind flow continues as the Nor’easter approaches our area. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.

Monday the rain will end late in the day or at night as the Nor’easter finally starts to pull away from our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s.

Total rainfall amounts will be 1-4 inches throughout most of our area, with up to 5 inches or more possible along the coast and especially on Long Island.

Tuesday through next Saturday, October 3rd will then be nice with highs rising from the mid 60’s to low 70’s Tuesday, to the low to mid 70’s Wednesday, and the 70’s Thursday, then dropping a bit to the low to mid 70’s next Friday and Saturday.

Next Sunday, October 4th and next Monday, October 5th there will be a chance of showers with highs in the low to mid 70’s next Sunday and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday, October 6th through next Thursday, October 8th will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 60’s next Thursday and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Wednesday and Thursday.

Strong Nor’easter to develop off the Coast…

One more nice day today before a strong Nor’easter develops off the coast over the weekend, bringing heavy rain and strong winds to our area, with flooding, and especially coastal flooding likely Saturday and Sunday. The biggest problem will be the constant onshore winds, which will be pushing the water back towards the coast for a long period of time (from Friday through Monday). That long a time of strong onshore winds could cause some serious flooding in coastal areas, and heavy rain is also likely in Northeastern NJ and the NYC area, which could cause some flooding from rainfall. Some trees could also fall from the soft ground from the heavy rain and strong winds, which could cause some power outages this weekend in parts of our area.

After this storm passes it will be nice Tuesday through Friday, followed by another chance for some rain next weekend into the following week.

Dry but cool today and tomorrow and then a Nor’easter develops off the coast…

It will be dry, but cool today and tomorrow with highs only in the low to mid 60’s.

Friday through Sunday, rain will be likely and it will be windy, with some flooding possible on Long Island and along the coast as a strong Nor’easter develops off the coast. Highs will gradually drop from the upper 60’s to low 70’s Friday, to the mid to upper 60’s Saturday, and the low to mid 60’s Sunday.

Monday, some light rain and drizzle may linger in the area as the Nor’easter slowly pulls away from our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60’s.

Tuesday currently looks dry and warmer with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.

Next Wednesday, Clouds will increase with a chance of a shower at night. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.

Next Thursday currently looks dry with highs in the low to mid 70’s.

Next Friday there will be a chance of rain with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.

Next Saturday, October 3rd and next Sunday, October 4th there will be a chance of a shower with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Next Monday, October 5th and next Tuesday, October 6th is currently looking dry with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Monday and the mid to upper 60’s next Tuesday.

Lots of rain through the next two weeks…

Terrible forecast here for the next two weeks as El Nino is going to keep us quite wet over the next two weeks as one disturbance after the other slowly passes through our area.

The best chance of rain will be Friday through Sunday as a strong disturbance very slowly passes east of our area, likely developing into a Nor’easter.

The best chance for dry days will tomorrow and next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Highs will gradually rise from the low to mid 60’s today through Tuesday, to the low to mid 70’s next Wednesday and Thursday.

A couple more nice days before things turn ugly…

It will be nice today and tomorrow with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s today and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s tomorrow.

Sunday, showers/thunderstorms will be likely as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.

Monday may then be our last dry day for a while with highs int eh mid to upper 60’s.

Tuesday through next Monday, September 28th is currently looking absolutely ugly with a chance of showers or thunderstorms every day as a stationary front develops near our area, with several strong disturbances riding along it. Highs will be mainly in the 60’s.

Next Tuesday, September 29th and next Wednesday, September 30th is currently looking nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Tuesday and the upper 60’s to low 70’s next Wednesday.

Next Thursday, October 1st there will be a chance of a shower/thunderstorm with highs in the upper 60’s to low 70’s.

Very unsettled period ahead…

We will have a pretty nice day today, but clouds will increase with a chance of a late day shower or thunderstorm. It will be warm with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Saturday, clouds will increase with a chance of showers or thunderstorms developing at night, and possibly continuing until the end of time, or at least on and off through next Sunday, September 26th. Highs will range from the upper 50’s to low 70’s, but will be mainly in the 60’s through the period.

Next Monday, September 27th through next Wednesday, September 29th is currently looking as if it could actually be dry with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Looking pretty good till the weekend…

Things are looking pretty good till Saturday night with just a slight chance of a late day shower or thunderstorm Thursday. Highs will gradually rise from the mid 60’s to mid 70’s today and tomorrow, to the 70’s Wednesday and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Thursday and Friday.

Saturday, there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm at night as a stationary front develops near our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.

Sunday through next Tuesday, September 22nd, there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorm each day as a stationary front remains near our area. Highs will gradually drop from the mid 70’s to low 80’s Sunday, to the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Monday and the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Tuesday.

Next Wednesday, September 23rd through next Friday, September 25th is currently looking nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Next Saturday, September 26th there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

August was the warmest August worldwide since records began...

It will be nice again today and then showers and thunderstorms will develop tomorrow night, ending Sunday morning as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s today, the mid 70’s to mid 80’s tomorrow, and the upper 70’s to low 80’s Sunday.

Monday through next Friday will then be nice with highs gradually rising from the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Monday and Tuesday, to the mid to upper 70’s Wednesday, the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Thursday, and the mid to upper 70’s next Friday.

Next Saturday, September 20th, there will be a chance of an afternoon/evening shower/thunderstorm, with highs in the upper 60’s to mdi 70’s.

Next Sunday September 21st and next Monday, September 22nd will then be nice with highs in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Sunday and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Monday.

Showers ending this morning, then nice until Saturday night..

The showers will end early this morning and then it will be nice until Saturday night when a disturbance will pass through the area, bringing showers/thunderstorms Saturday night into Sunday morning. Highs will be in the 80’s today, the 70’s to low 80’s tomorrow, and the mid 70;’s to low 80’s Saturday.

Monday through next weekend is currently looking nice with highs 70’s to low 80’s Monday through next Friday, dropping to the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Saturday and the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Sunday.

Next Monday, September 21st through next Wednesday, September 23rd is currently looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower/thunderstorm each day. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.

Things are actually looking pretty good, except for the chance for some showers/thunderstorms Thursday, Sunday, and the following Monday, September 21st.

The warmest day in the next two weeks will be tomorrow with highs in the 80’s, and the coolest days will be next Saturday, September 19th through next Monday, September 21st with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.

There will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm this evening as a disturbance passes just south of our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm on Long Island as another disturbance passes east of our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s.

Sunday through Wednesday will then be nice with highs gradually rising from the low to mid 70’s Sunday, to the 70’s Monday, the mid 70’s to low 80’s Tuesday, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Wednesday.
