Chance of a shower or thunderstorm this afternoon or early evening…

There will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm this afternoon or early evening as a weak cold font passe through our area. Highs will be in the 80’s.

Tomorrow through Saturday will be nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s tomorrow, the 80’s Thursday, the upper 70’s s to mid 80’s Friday, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Saturday.

Sunday and Monday there will be a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Sunday and only the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Monday.

Nex Tuesday, August 18th through next Thursday, August 20th is currently looking nice with highs gradually rising from the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Tuesday, to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Wednesday, and the 80’s next Thursday.

Next Friday, August 21st there will be a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm with highs in the 80’s

Next Saturday, August 22nd through next Monday, August 24th is currently looking nice with highs dropping from the 80’s next Saturday, to the upper 70’s to md 80’s next Sunday, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Monday.

Severe storms possible tonight…

There may be some severe storms in parts of our area tonight. Click here for the discussion from the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center.

There could be some showers or thunderstorms again tomorrow afternoon and evening but a bit less of a chance of them being severe. Highs tomorrow will be in the 80’s.

We may then have an extended period of mostly dry weather through the rest of the two-week period with highs mainly in the 80’s.

Showers/thunderstorms likely this afternoon and evening…

There will be more shows and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening as a disturbance passes through our area. Some of the storms are likely to be severe. Click here to read the discussion from the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s.

Below is the map depiction from the National Weather Service Stom Prediction Center.

Tomorrow through next Saturday will then be nice with highs mainly in the 80’s to low 90’s tomorrow though Tuesday, but in the mid 90’s in places Monday.

Wednesday through next Saturday will be nice but cooler with highs in the upper 70’s and 80’s Wednesday and Thursday, dropping to the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Friday and Saturday.

Next Sunday, August 16th there will be a chance of showers/thunderstorms as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Things are going to get unsettled again starting later today with showers and thunderstorms developing and becoming heavy at times. Heavy rain is possible.

The showers will continue tomorrow, with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower Tuesday and showers likely again Wednesday.

Thursday through Saturday there will be a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day.

Next Sunday, August 9th and next Monday, August 10th are currently looking dry.

Next Tuesday, August 11th and next Wednesday, August 12th, there will be a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm.

Severe storms possible later today and especially tomorrow…

A strong disturbance and cold front are approaching from the west and will trigger some afternoon/evening showers/thunderstorms today, some of which would be severe. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tomorrow showers/thunderstorms will be likely and some of the storms could be severe. Highs will be in the mdi 70’s to low 80’s.

Wednesday, showers will be likely with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s, as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Thursday there will be a chance of a shower as a bit of moisture may linger behind the disturbance. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Friday and Saturday will then be nice with highs rising from the mid 70’s to low 80’s Friday, to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Saturday.

Sunday there will be a chance of showers/thunderstorms as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Monday there will be a chance of a shower/thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of
Delaware
Eastern Maryland
New Jersey
Southeast Pennsylvania
Coastal Waters

* Effective this Saturday afternoon and evening from 155 PM until
900 PM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
A few tornadoes possible
Widespread damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms are forming east of the higher
terrain and will spread eastward into the watch area through this
evening. The storm environment favors some supercell structures
with the potential to produce a few tornadoes in addition to wind
damage and isolated large hail. Additional storms will likely
spread into this same area from the northwest this evening with a
primary threat of damaging winds.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles
east and west of a line from 25 miles north of Wilkesbarre PA to 35
miles south of Dover DE. For a complete depiction of the watch see
the associated watch outline update (WOUS64 KWNS WOU5).

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.

surface and aloft to 1.5 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind

Slight chance for a shower/thunderstorm today and a better chance tomorrow, then getting hot again for the middle of next week…

There will be just a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm today. Highs will be in the 80’s.

Tomorrow there will be a better chance for a shower or thunderstorm as a weak cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Sunday through next Friday, July 17th, will then be nice with highs gradually rising from the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Sunday, to the 80’s Monday, the upper 80’s to mid 90’s Tuesday, and the 90’s to low 100’s Wednesday, then dropping back a bit to the upper 80’s to mid 90’s Thursday, and the mid 80’s to mid 90’s next Friday.

Next Saturday, July 18th will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Sunday, July 19th will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Net Monday, July 20th through next Wednesday, July 22nd there will be a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Monday and Tuesday, and the low to mid 80’s next Wednesday.

A sprinkle possible the rest of today, better tomorrow, and then showers Thursday/Friday….

There will be just a chance of a sprinkle the rest of the day today with highs in the low to mid 70’s.

Thursday there will be a chance of showers with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s

Friday there will be a chance of a shower and possibly a thunderstorm as a weak cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s and 80’s.

Saturday through next Tuesday, July 14th will then be nic e with highs gradually rising from the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Saturday, to the upper 70’s to mid 80s Sunday, the 80’s Monday, and the mid 80’s to low 90’s next Tuesday.

Next Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm with highs in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s.

Next Thursday will be nice with highs in the 80’s to low 90’s.

Next Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm and highs will be in the 80’s.

Showers into tomorrow morning…

There will be showers into tomorrow morning as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be only in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s today and the low to mid 70’s tomorrow.

Wednesday through Saturday will then be nice with highs gradually rising from the upper 70’s to low 80’s Wednesday, to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Thursday, and the 80’s Friday, then dropping back a touch to the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Saturday.

Sunday through next Thursday, July 16th is currently looking a bit unsettle with at least a chance of a shower or thunderstorm nearly every day, except possibly next Tuesday.

Next Friday, July 17th through next Sunday, July 19th is currently looking nice with highs in the 80’s next Friday and Saturday and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Sunday.

More showers/thunderstorms later today, possibly severe, with showers again tomorrow….

There will be more showers and thunderstorms later today and some of the storms could be severe, as a strong disturbance approaches from the west. The rain could be heavy at times. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tomorrow, showers will be likely with highs in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s as the disturbance passes through our area. It will be cooler with highs in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.

Tuesday there will be a continued chance for a shower as some moisture may linger in our area. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Wednesday and Thursday will be nice with highs rising from the mid 70’s to low 80’s Wednesday, to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Thursday.

Friday there will be a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the low to mid 80’s.

Saturday there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm with highs in the upper 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Sunday, July 12th through the following Saturday, July 18th is currently looking nice with highs rising from the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Sunday and Monday, to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Tuesday, the low to mdi 80’s next Wednesday, and the 80’s next Thursday through Saturday.

EXTREME HEAT AGAIN TODAY AND A CHANCE OF SOME SEVERE STORMS TODAY AND TOMORROW….

The extreme heat will continue today with highs reaching the mid 100’s in parts of our area again today. There will also be a chance for a shower or thunderstorm later day and some of the storms could be severe.

Independence Day there will be a better chance for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms as a cold front passes through our area. Some of the storms could be severe. Highs will reach the low 100’s in inland Central NJ.

Sunday, showers and thunderstorms will be likely, especially in the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Monday showers will be likely as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Tuesday there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm with highs in the mid to upper 70’s.

Wednesday is currently looking nice and actually dry, with highs around 80;

Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a cold front slowly approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 80’s.
