Chance of a shower/thunderstorm this evening and a slight chance on Long Island tomorrow…

There will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm this evening as a disturbance passes just south of our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm on Long Island as another disturbance passes east of our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s.

Sunday through Wednesday will then be nice with highs gradually rising from the low to mid 70’s Sunday, to the 70’s Monday, the mid 70’s to low 80’s Tuesday, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Wednesday.

Thursday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower/thunderstorm in the evening. Highs will be in the upper 70’s and 80’s.

Next Friday, September 11th, through next Monday, September 14th is currently looking nice with highs gradually rising from the 70’s next Friday and Saturday, to the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Sunday, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday, September 15th there will be a chance of an afternoon/evening shower or thunderstorm with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Wednesday, September 16th will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon/evening shower or thunderstorm with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Thursday, September 17th is currently looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Chance of showers/thunderstorms today and tomorrow and a slight chance Friday, then looking much better for the weekend and next week…

Three will continue to a chance for showers/thunderstorms today and tomorrow and a slight chance Friday as stationary front remains near our area with several disturbances riding along it. Highs will be in the 70’s today, the 80’s tomorrow, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Friday.

Saturday through the following week and into next Monday, September, 14th is currently looking nice with the coolest day being Sunday with highs in the low to mid 70’s and the warmest day being Tuesday and the following Monday with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Showers/thunderstorms through Thursday but then looking better for the weekend and beyond…

There will be showers and thunderstorms through Thursday but it is now looking much better starting Friday, through the weekend, and beyond. Yesterday things really didn’t look good in the long-term, but today was a big change for the better. Let’s hope it holds. Highs will be int eh 70’s and 80’s, with the coolest day being tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 70’s with the showers/thunderstorms and the warmest day being today with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Showers/thunderstorms developing this afternoon/evening and continuing through the end of time...

Showers/thunderstorm will develop later today as a disturbance approaches from the west, and unfortunately, they may never end, with at least a chance of showers/thunderstorms through Thursday and then at least a slight chance of a shower/thunderstorm through the rest of the two-week period, although some days may truly be rain-free, hopefully.

Highs will be in the 70's and 80's.

Looking good till Thursday…

Things are looking good till Thursday when there will be more showers/thunderstorms as a cold front and disturbance pass through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s today and tomorrow, rising to the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Wednesday, and then dropping back to the 70’s again Thursday.

Friday through next Monday, August 31st, will then be nice with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s Friday through Sunday and the low to mid 80’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday, September 1st, through next Saturday, September 5th is looking pretty good, with just a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm next Tuesday and Friday. Highs will be drop from the 80’s next Tuesday, to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Wednesday, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Thursday through Saturday.

Next Sunday, September 6th there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Showers/thunderstorms returning tomorrow…

Showers and thunderstorms will develop again tomorrow afternoon and evening from west to east as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s, with some low 80’s on Long Island. Some of the thunderstorms could be severe, especially in Southeastern PA and Southern NJ.

Friday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Saturday and Sunday there will be showers and possibly a thunderstorm as a disturbance slowly passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s Saturday and the mid 70’s to low 80’s Sunday.

Monday and Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s Monday and the mid to upper 70’s Tuesday.

Next Wednesday, August 26th there will be a chance of showers/thunderstorms developing at night as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Thursday, August 27th and next Friday, August 28th will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Saturday, August 29th through next Tuesday, September 1st is currently nice with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Severe storms possible tonight…

There may be some severe storms in parts of our area tonight. Click here for the discussion from the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center.

There could be some showers or thunderstorms again tomorrow afternoon and evening but a bit less of a chance of them being severe. Highs tomorrow will be in the 80’s.

We may then have an extended period of mostly dry weather through the rest of the two-week period with highs mainly in the 80’s.

Showers/thunderstorms likely this afternoon and evening…

There will be more shows and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening as a disturbance passes through our area. Some of the storms are likely to be severe. Click here to read the discussion from the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s.

Below is the map depiction from the National Weather Service Stom Prediction Center.

Tomorrow through next Saturday will then be nice with highs mainly in the 80’s to low 90’s tomorrow though Tuesday, but in the mid 90’s in places Monday.

Wednesday through next Saturday will be nice but cooler with highs in the upper 70’s and 80’s Wednesday and Thursday, dropping to the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Friday and Saturday.

Next Sunday, August 16th there will be a chance of showers/thunderstorms as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Monday, August 17th through next Thursday, August 20th is currently looking nice with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Things are going to get unsettled again starting later today with showers and thunderstorms developing and becoming heavy at times. Heavy rain is possible.

The showers will continue tomorrow, with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower Tuesday and showers likely again Wednesday.

Thursday through Saturday there will be a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day.

Next Sunday, August 9th and next Monday, August 10th are currently looking dry.

Next Tuesday, August 11th and next Wednesday, August 12th, there will be a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm.

Next Thursday, August 13th through next Saturday, August 15th is currently looking dry.

Severe storms possible later today and especially tomorrow…

A strong disturbance and cold front are approaching from the west and will trigger some afternoon/evening showers/thunderstorms today, some of which would be severe. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tomorrow showers/thunderstorms will be likely and some of the storms could be severe. Highs will be in the mdi 70’s to low 80’s.

Wednesday, showers will be likely with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s, as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Thursday there will be a chance of a shower as a bit of moisture may linger behind the disturbance. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Friday and Saturday will then be nice with highs rising from the mid 70’s to low 80’s Friday, to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Saturday.

Sunday there will be a chance of showers/thunderstorms as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Monday there will be a chance of a shower/thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Tuesday, August 4th and next Wednesday, August 5th are currently looking nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Tuesday and the low to mid 80’s next Wednesday.

Nice through the weekend and then showers/thunderstorms…

It will be nice through the weekend with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s today and tomorrow and the 80’s Sunday.

Monday through Wednesday will be unsettled with showers and thunderstorm likely Monday and Tuesday, and possibly lingering into Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s Monday and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Tuesday and Wednesday.

Thursday and Friday will then be nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Thursday and the 80’s next Friday.

Next Saturday, August 1st there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms with highs in the 80’s.

Net Sunday, August 2nd through next Thursday, August 6th is currently looking nice with highs gradually rising from the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Sunday to the mid 80’s to low 90’s next Thursday.

The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of
Delaware
Eastern Maryland
New Jersey
Southeast Pennsylvania
Coastal Waters

* Effective this Saturday afternoon and evening from 155 PM until
900 PM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
A few tornadoes possible
Widespread damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms are forming east of the higher
terrain and will spread eastward into the watch area through this
evening. The storm environment favors some supercell structures
with the potential to produce a few tornadoes in addition to wind
damage and isolated large hail. Additional storms will likely
spread into this same area from the northwest this evening with a
primary threat of damaging winds.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles
east and west of a line from 25 miles north of Wilkesbarre PA to 35
miles south of Dover DE. For a complete depiction of the watch see
the associated watch outline update (WOUS64 KWNS WOU5).

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.

AVIATION...Tornadoes and a few severe thunderstorms with hail
surface and aloft to 1.5 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind
gusts to 60 knots. A few cumulonimbi with maximum tops to 550. Mean
