We will all leave something behind one day. The question is what kind of legacy will we leave? Every day we have the choice to build on a legacy that one day others might choose to follow. 

Time is valuable and so are the people around us so what are we doing to making sure we make the most of the time we have with those we love?

We value our families but do we really put the time, attention and effort into the things we say we value? This week we are looking at the influence of the people we surround ourselves with and we consider the importance of our impact on others.

We all would say that we value our family and have family values but do our actions match our words? Where you are heading as a family depends on what you ACTUALLY value. This series is about evaluation our values and making sure we are on the right track.

God chooses to use us. Why? Because He can and because He has a purpose for us and His own glory in spite of our sinfulness. This week we are looking at the story of Rahab and how her story of deliverance from the battle of Jericho is a reminder to us of God’s plan for us.

The second message in our series takes us to the banks of the Jordan River where God does something incredible and then gives His people a way for them to remember Him. We have been called to remember our God and what he has done but the question is, do you even have a moment of salvation to remember or are you still waiting on the bank?

This is the first message in a 4 part series where we are looking at “antiques” from the old testament and asking ourselves what their value is as we examine the story, characters and lessons that surround them. Ultimately we are asking, “what does this teach me about my relationship with God?”

Our first antique is David’s sling and as we will see the story points to a giant that was defeated by a boy and a sling who took a stand for his God. This week we will see what it takes to be courageous. 

Fouentain of Hope is an amazing ministry that we as a church have chosen to get behind and support. As we look at those who have so little we are reminded of what Paul said in Acts 20 when he quoted Jesus saying “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” If there is more blessing in giving than receiving, then why don’t we make living like this the habit of our lives? Perhaps we should be looking out for the needs of others every day.
