The Samsung Galaxy S 22 has been officially announced and it's looking incredible. But I'll be sharing the details right after this so we now have the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S 22 series, along with more confirmation of specs. if you're going to be getting a Galaxy S 22. So the first story of the day is that this time around the Snapdragon eight gen one is coming to more countries with the Galaxy S 22. Now do you and Kim have tweeted to advise a list of countries that are getting the Snapdragon and there are a few more than usual. Now the whole of America will of course be sticking with the Snapdragon version. and European users are still going to be getting the X and OS. There may still be many people out there that are disappointed with the X and OS.

But the benchmarks that are coming in are improving and they're getting closer to the Snapdragon each time. Now we also have news of bespoke customization for the Galaxy S 22 series, and this is according to Neva. Now he says that the company is still deciding on the possibility of bespoke s 20 twos and this would allow you to customize your device from a selection of different colors. Similar to what we saw with the flip three. Next up, we've got a spec sheet League for the Galaxy S one to two ultra and this looks to be a marketing infographic that shows everything we were expecting, but it may disappoint some, there have been many rumors of the Galaxy S 22 Ultra coming with one terabyte internal storage, and mostly because it did seem to agree. Now recently, some, however, have changed their mind. And this spec sheet shows that 512 Gig storage is the maximum for the Ultra. So it's not a huge deal breaker but I'm sure those wanting a one terabyte version will be disappointed if this is true. No next up we had previous rumors of $100 price hikes across the board for USA customers. But it may not be the case.

This year, there's gonna be an S 22, an S 22 plus, and S 22 ultra. Now in this blog, we are just gonna be concentrating on the S 22 ultra, which is the flagship device. And the first thing you'll notice right away from all of the leaks and rumors is that the S 22 ultra looks quite different from the S 22 and the S 22.

Plus this is a fresh design. Samsung introduced the new design for the S 21 ultra last year where the camera module kind of blew ends into the edges. Something that I do like. And although this design has been continued to the S 22 and the S 22 plus the S 22 ultra has something that Samsung hasn't done before. We've got all of the camera modules separate, and they are almost flush with the back of the device, but more interestingly, the S 22 ultra now looks like it's got more of a boxier design. You guys know where I'm going with this. Samson traditionally has more of a boxier design for their note series. But as you may already know, last year, we did not have a note device. Now, this was for many reasons, one of which was the chip shortage. But if we do look at previous years, the Samson Galaxy S line has been getting more and more close to the note line with the Spen being the differentiator and the S 21 ultra last year did have support for the Spen.

Asus ROG Phone 6 AND Asus Zenfone 9

Two phones we know we can count on to tick every single box we have our Zenfone and our LG phone. ASUS has done a great job with these two in the past years and lets me tell you after the things I have heard about the 2022 models you're in for a treat what's cooking with the Zenfone nine and our LG phone six only interesting things. These two will keep on being premium phones backed up by the notorious Snapdragon eight gen one then the phone is going to push camera and productivity boundaries while our LG is going to simply fight to keep its gaming King status. While there's been some competition in that area of late I wouldn't worry too much. Asus hit it out of the park from the LG phone too. And every iteration since has been better and better.

Asus ROG Phone 6 AND Asus Zenfone 9

improved audio battery and cooling system plus a game center that's customizable as heck Sure, Nubia and Lenovo have been picking up steam and honestly, if you're already a fan of those, there’s no reason to change to Asus. But if you're already a longtime user of their old devices, it's hard to turn a blind eye to this baby, the LG phone six. Let's start with this one. Okay, Asus is a couple of months away from launching it. So we won't know a lot for sure. But sketches of the phone are out in the wild. And hey, it's enough to get me excited and get some glues at the same time. Like a bigger secondary display. The addition of one was weird, to begin with, but if Asus wants to keep up at it, at least give us some more room right? Well this year, phone six will have a larger one for notifications and animations. There's also a larger camera islanded play but still three cameras to work with.

We should have at least a 64 megapixel main with an ultra wide and maybe a telly. I know we had to deal with a macro last year but considering the direction of the industry. It would be a pity not to see a telly included. The Flash now sits right next to it the design of the back seems a bit changed but still edgy as a gaming phone should look. Besides the upgraded chip, we might see an upgraded refresh rate. Yes, 144 hertz is nothing to complain about. But with 165 hertz rates available, why not increase it at least on the Pro model, if not the vanilla, the memory should talk at 16 gigabytes like last year and I'd be surprised to see Asus increase the battery capacity. After all, they've ruled in this arena for a while now. A 6000 milliamp power cell is in the cards with 65 Watt fast charging, it's the type of battery and charging combo I'd love to see on the Zenfone two but slim chances guys last year's then phones topped at 4000 milliamp power so I say let's be grateful for a 4500 milliamp power this time we also have to bury the Flip camera for good Zenfone eight ditched it and seems like this year's model will do the same.

A similar adored camera is in the works and surprise surprises are responsive back. Yes, the back of the phone will be tappable two taps should trigger one of a variety of actions. We're talking screenshot taking camera opening or flashlights selection. What's interesting is the change Asus plans to make when it comes to cameras. If the sketches I've seen come true then Zenfone nine should feature a 15 megapixel main sensor with a 12 megapixel ultra wide next to it. Hopefully, the software will make that change lower of a megahit and miss and keep this phone in the top 2022 phones. Because let me tell you the rest of the specs should be top notch. You will have your generous screen with an equally great refresh rate. Not the 144 hertz our LG phone six will show off true but on 120 hertz nonetheless, this will make streaming and video playback a joy just like its brother from another phone series I expected info nine to offer up to 16 gigabytes of RAM. that's plenitude to count on no matter how important you fuss with it or not. Audio may not be as big of a deal on this phone as on the RRG but atheists will make sure it doesn't disappoint.

You should get stereo speakers and perhaps indeed a headphone jack from the progeny go. Besides top notch hardware, you know by now that flagship phones get the best iOS possible. These won't be any different. They should launch in spring with Android 12. Now that's all I know or can speculate after seeing the two phones' first look, I'll make sure to keep you guys updated as we find out more about camera upgrades and gaming goodies. Samsung Z Fold 3 vs Oppo Find N vs Honor Magic V

We are talking about foldable phones whether or not you're going to get one here in 2022. Hit me in the comments below if you already have one or which one you have your eye on. And I figured this is a perfect time to talk about some of the newest releases. As far as foldable. Go. Now, if you guys have been following the channel, hopefully, you have, if not, go ahead, hit that subscribe button, I do own the Galaxy Z fold three, I have been loving it, probably more so because we are all kind of still stuck at home, for the most part, working from home. So my experience with this phone has been good. And probably because I get to use this inner display even more. But hopefully, there will come a point in time where we get more out and about. And that's where this phone kind of falls short with the outer display. Even though it's 120 hertz, it is still super narrow. And the aspect ratio is not ideal for most. So that is one of my major complaints about the phone. It's probably one of your major gripes about the phone.

Samsung Z Fold 3 vs Oppo Find N vs Honor Magic V

On top of that the crease in the middle of this phone, even though I've gotten used to it, is still very visible. And it can detract from other people being interested in the phone. I've had people tell me that they are waiting until their crease is gone. So hopefully Samsung is working on that I'm pretty sure they are. Because there's so much competition now and competition is really good. Things will heat up once Apple finally releases their foldable phone, which nobody has any clue when that'll be, even if Google decides to do their Pixel phone that was rumored. But until then, all we have is Samsung dominating the US market. But we do have some international options, which is kind of what's been catching my eye as of late.

So let's kind of get right down to it. GSM Arena is where I go. And I compare a lot of specs and take a look at different devices, especially those that aren't readily available. So right now you don't have a whole lot of options as far as competition for the fold here in the US aside from something like a surface duo serving as dual two, which is still a good device in its own right. If you're looking for something that's like a dual screen. So if you're used to using maybe a dual monitor setup, and you want your phone to mimic that experience, then I would suggest checking out the Microsoft Surface duo two. But just like anything else that one also has its weaknesses. Now enter the OPPO find which was as you can see released in late December.

So I've kind of had my eye on this device. Shout out to Gigi. And if you guys don't follow Gigi make sure you do I know that she owns the OPPO fine. So this is a phone that you have to order. It's not something that you can just go into a store here to us like a Best Buy or something like that and purchase. But what it does is it kind of addresses some of my gripes that I have with the Z fold three, for example, the aspect ratio on the outer display. So we're looking at the displays here. As you can see, it does call out that the cover display, obviously is an amulet display, but it's almost five and a half inches.

So it's a wider display with an 18 by nine aspect ratio, which is a pretty good ratio and very usable. One downside is it is only going to be a 60 hertz display for that outer screen as opposed to the full three right here has the 120 hertz display but it is 6.2 inches which is a 25 by nine very narrow aspect ratio. So if you're going to be doing texting a lot and things like that, it does make it a little more difficult to use that outer display as opposed to something like this for the OPPO. Now, one other major difference is the inner display. So with the fold unfolded, you get a 7.6 inch display. And with the OPPO fine, you get a 7.1 inch display. So that one is almost like a square as opposed to my Z full so I love the Z fold aspect ratio internally the thing about is I could just turn this thing horizontally and get a very similar experience that I would with the apple.

And, if Samsung decides to minimize this crease, I'm thinking that all they have to do is make it so that the folding piece or the crease or the hinge is kind of done horizontally if that makes sense. So instead of having it fold here, you would have it fold here in the middle, if you turn it horizontally, so that would give it a bigger outer display. So now we're talking about this site is all display. So I would love to see them implement that. I don't know if they're going to do it. I guess we'll find out around August if that's going to come on like Dizzy fold for So more to come on that. But getting back to the specs here. So what are we losing though, so if I go after this oppo fine, which let me see if it has the pricing here? So right now I could get an oppo find from Amazon a 256. For the storage, eight gigs of RAM for 1797. Aliexpress has it for 1538 and the comparable 12 gigs of RAM 512 for the storage similar to my Z fold, which has the 12 gigs of RAM, but only 256 storage, you get it for around two grand.

So it's a tough sell, right? Because here in the States, you can get a Z fold three, I've seen it as low as 899 brand new from Best Buy. And that's without a trade ID, that's just you being able to upgrade the device. So the price has come down on the Z fold three, which is a whole nother video I want to do as far as how Samsung does their pricing. But either way, you're still probably getting a better deal now to just get the Z fold three. However, if you have to have this aspect ratio like I'm interested in, you're spinning at least 1500 bucks for because I've seen it as low as you can see here, the original price 1538. So eight gigs of RAM I can get for 1538 at various places if I order it, but I just don't know if I'm willing to give up certain things.

So like I said, it's only a 60 hertz for the outer display. It is not IP rated. So I would give up my little water resistance if I sold my Z fold three and got this guy. The camera quality may improve for selfies. But as far as the triple camera setup, even though it says is a 50 megapixel camera, I'm going to go out on the limb and say that the Samsung camera setup is going to be a little better on the Z fold three about the same processing power with the Snapdragon 888. So really, the main reason why you would want to go after this device is going to be that the outer display is more usable, and the crease is less visible. Alright, so those are my takeaways outside of, you know some special features like the navigation gestures, I know you can do like a two finger pull down to do the split screen, stuff like that. Now, another device that I wanted to talk about, and we'll go to it right now.

And it was just announced is a device by honor so let's switch over, see if I can get that to pull up. So we go over to our phones and we have the magic Wii or the magic five however you want to refer to it. And matter of fact, let's just we'll keep it this way. So if we look at the specifications of this device, this was just announced it is expected to be on sale as of January 18. As you can see it has a 7.9 inch inner display 50 megapixels once again for the camera, a lot even larger battery so the apple fine had a larger battery than the Z fold three and 4500 and this one is at 4750. So an even larger battery so hopefully battery life is really good on this device. Now this one takes it a different angle on the display. So if we're looking at the display options here, the cover display is 120 hertz, which is a good 6.4 or five inches which are even closer to that normal candy bar style outer display. But the interior screen, the larger screen is only 90 hertz. So it's almost a flip flop from the Apple fine.

So the Apple has a really good 120 hertz inner display. This one is going with a better outer display at 120 hertz. So this one is the largest of the three devices, it's going to be the heaviest at 288 grams as compared to the OPPO, which is 275. And I want to see the full three was 271. So this is the heaviest. So the largest of the three devices, like I said is due out January 18, they just announced it, you can get it a few different colors. No IP rating. And I don't see much mentioned about the pricing just yet. But I have to assume that it's going to be pretty close to the Apple price, which is between 1500 to two grand. Now, what I did see for this honor magic is the crease is less visible once again, compared to the full three. But the unboxing experience that I saw, I watched a couple of videos online already. And they include both the home and the car charger as well as a case with the kickstand. So as a bear to my Z fold three, which I had to purchase a separate case.

And so the magic, the honor magic is going to come with a case similar to this obviously without the S Pen, but have the kickstand included. So that is a really good price if it is within that $2,000 range to give you the chargers that you need as well as a case because you won't get that experience with this Z fold. You don't even get the charging brick at all, you just get a cable with this phone. So you probably get more bang for your buck if you can order this phone. So I don't know if it's going to be a China-only release for the honor magic. But it is very interesting. I just don't know if I'm willing to get a phone that's even heavier than this one because the Z fold three is already heavy in its own right. It takes some getting used to now that I'm used to it maybe wouldn't bother me as much. And I would like to have a larger cover display. But you know, that's one of the cons of trying to get one of these international phones because there's no way of trying them out. Right.

So you're buying at your own risk. Chances are you won't be able to return it especially if it ships internationally. Maybe it's if it's defective, they may let you return it. But otherwise, you're saying like here, take my 2000 or my 1500. And I'll just live with you know, whatever you guys send me. So what do you guys think I kind of tried to hurry up and go through a lot of these specs to give you an idea of what we're up against or what, what's out there what's available right now as compared to the Z fold three. So do you guys already own the Z fold three? Do you have any other folding devices I know I didn't talk about the flip phones? I am aware that there is also a new flip through Huawei which is even harder to get. So it's like the Huawei P 50 pocketable so I know that's a real thing but I'm not as interested in the flip style foldable phones as I am with you know the bigger candy bar style foldable such as the Z fold three.

Hey guys, it's Arfat and today we are checking out a little something here from Sony. I'm excited about this. These are the Sony console faceplates. These are the official ones from Sony. I have two colors here we've got the cosmic red and the midnight black now I was one of the people that was like a super fangirl like I love the white PlayStation console. Now that I'm kind of like looking at my setup that I have all my consoles are all black except for the new Nintendo Switch dock which is white, which was kind of working out because there was a nice little alternating pattern happening now with the PlayStation this is gonna look a lot better and a lot sleeker inside of there. We've also got the new colorful controllers.

Does this have a special name to it? Or is it just like pink? Because it's pink? It's pink. We're calling it pink, and we've got a blue and the purple dude like these look so good. Hi. Beautiful. Look how good especially this pink one hope. They'll also have corresponding matching faceplates to go with all of the controllers. I do have the matching controllers to go to these but they're back in Pennsylvania because I had them shipped there. Those are now like my Pennsylvania controllers when I'm back home visiting my family that's like I have just seen problems right there. my East Coast PlayStation controllers are here to show you how well they match with the faceplates. Let's open up the controllers first. I need a knife. I need a knife. Please hold a look at the stuff. Isn't it a neat pic is so pretty. I want to get the faceplate that matches a huge thank you though to Sony for sending me these to check out. I'm so excited. The box looks nice. Wow, pink. No, look at this. It's beautiful. Like this is something that I just want to like set out and display the sheer absolute beauty of this.

I love it. so this is like my sister's favorite color. I feel like the Okay, I mean, this is beautiful. And it's stunning. But like this is my sister's color. And this is my color. It's so funny because these are both of our exact favorite colors. And then in the middle of these, we've got the purple. It's hard to say what my favorite color is I think pink and black are like my two favorite colors. I know black is a shade is not a color, but I'm not here to discuss color theory. Purple used to be my favorite accent color. Some of you may remember if you've been around long enough that I had a custom camo a purple camo PC. It's absolutely the coolest. Like this is the exact color of that PC to like this is awesome. These are such good colors. Freaking Stunning. Stunning. I could just sit here and admire them for all of the days. We've got the controllers unboxed and now we have the faceplates filling up just getting back into the video-making process for the new year.

It's almost like a kind of like a pinkish color. It's not quite as pink. I'm so scared to put this back on, pull up and slide. See? Yeah, symbol. this is like a real Marquez look that'll come off of hurting my feet. He's a little ping. Nice. There we go. That's WAY easier after I've done it once or twice. This is beautiful. I have been using his very first affordable smartphone for a little over a week now and all I can say is wow, this device has me speechless. Not only is this the first foldable smartphone to use Qualcomm's latest and greatest Snapdragon 810 One chipsets run on the four-nanometre process, no tech, but the first foldable in my eyes that makes sense it's covered display resembles that of a regular smartphone screen with a normal aspect ratio and its foldable panel is similarly sized to miniature tablets with an aspect ratio. That also makes sense it has an insanely well thought out hinge made by honor themselves and has no gap while folded it packs in a triple 50-megapixel camera setup, symmetrical design, and bezels high refresh rates are LED panels that each boast insane brightness and house to have the same 42-megapixel selfie cameras.

It has a huge 4750 milliamp-hour battery and extremely fast 66 Watt charging not to mention it packs in an insane amount of accessories in its box with all that said it's time to deep dive into my immense detail. full review of the honor magic V comes in three different colors namely gloss black titanium silver, which is both glass or the color that I have here with me today called burns orange and is the only one with vegan leather skin. It looks phenomenal at the back extremely elegant and has a very glossy and glossy branded logo at the bottom left-hand corner you do get an included kickstand case in the box which has a bit of a carbon fiber finish and is super tiny to slap on the back of your phone kind of just clips on very simple and makes it super easy to watch movies or play games with the control on your device. I do like that they've included a kickstand case in the box completely free. I mean it is pretty expensive. So it's kind of cool that they've beefed it up a bit inside the device we have a massive battery for a foldable that is at 4750 milliamps with extremely fast 66 Watt wide charging but unfortunately no wireless charging this time around. However, wired charging is remarkably faster than other foldable on the market. The external display is covered by Nano Crystal gloss and the internal one is covered by magnetron sputter optical nanofoam which can deflect reflections the body is made of an aluminum frame and course there's glass or vegan leather on the back.

This is one of the thinnest foldable on the markets coming in at just 6.7 millimeters when unfolded and 14.3 millimeters when folded and it is just 288 grams for the leather version and 293 for the gloss version though it sounds a bit heavy. We've got to remember this is pretty much two phones glued together at the back we are kitted with 350-megapixel sensors one being an ultra-wide sensor with a field of view of 122 degrees the next one of course being the main sensor with laser autofocus and the last one being a very special sensor to honor which they boasted to me about at the launch event it is called the spectrum sensor and can reveal more details within each shot that the main an ultra-wide sensor take to make each photo look perfect in complex environments.

The ultra-wide sensor can be taken natively at 50 megapixels which looks great but the burndown 12.5 looks even better thanks to AI same thing can be said with the main sensor over here looks phenomenal thanks to the spectrum camera popping in over here we do have digital zoom up to 10 times that is the maximum doesn't look the best. But the spectrum camera is what truly shines over here and I have been told by one of them that this will improve drastically over future software updates. Right now you're seeing ultra-wide flicking to main sense over here. And the spectrum camera is enhancing every individual photo and I must say it does work. I'm not quite sure what it is but the detail that it packs in looks like every other phone should just take a step back and let Ana do its thing but the portrait mode is a bit questionable.

It looks okay it blurs a bit too much it looks a bit too artificial and sometimes it even blurs the foreground a bit over here as you can see with my little pup it does a decent job but all in all I think that this will get improved with future software updates upping close and personal to portrait shot however has pretty much perfect edge detection looks pretty natural too. And there is a super macro mode or no macro sensor and it does a more than decent job too. We do have 4k 60 FPS main video recording it looks as it should as 4k Should be nice and stable and super silky smooth too. And of course, we also have ultra-wide load capped at 30 FPS so you can do 20 DP you can also do 4k At 30 fps but do bear in mind that both of them are capped at 30 FPS it still looks pretty decent though we do have HDR and A whole bunch of other lookup tables in terms of different effects that we can use within movie mode of the camera, such as nostalgia and focus. And there's just so many of them I just had to include a couple of seconds of every one of them even at nights over here, as you can see, there give it a movie effect kind of like a dark and gloomy in an interesting thriller that you might see on TV, I guess you could say it's a cool, cool idea.

I'm not sure I'd use it that often, but it looks pretty cool and 4k 60 FPS. The shooting video at night looks pretty great too. I can't have any complaints about it. And it's honestly a lot brighter than other 60 FPS phones I've tested at 30 FPS brightens things out a bit more but loads the detail, but because of the stutter Enos of 30 frames per second, we do have 4k 30 FPS ultra-wide shooting at nights it doesn't look the best but it does look a lot better than other phones have tests that are 4k at night. We have the ultra-wide sensor over here and we can turn that mode on but the strange thing is that every time I turn night mode on it kind of zooms in a little bit just like a point one it's a bit weird, maybe it's my hands doing something strange moving away from my body. Nevertheless, my mode looks okay doesn't look like the mega nightmare that Qualcomm promised with the new chipsets. So I'm not sure on have completely adopted that but on a half told me once again that this will improve with future software updates.

And you got to remember that this is pre-release software since I was sent the device earlier than it got launched. Nevertheless, the actual cameras do an incredible job is especially for a foldable phone talking about foldable we have an in house made ultra-slim floating waterdrop hinge it is made up of triple-layer aerospace-grade materials which aid in the withstanding of 200,000 folds which I'm pretty sure you're not going to be able to get through even if you own the phone for five years. Not to mention the best thing about it is there is no gap while folded we have a power button on the right-hand side of the course and this is mixed up with a fingerprint sensor. Above that is the volume rocker. And right at the bottom, we have a USB 3.1 Type C ports as well as its first speaker second speaker at the top both paired with DTS X Ultra and we do have dual sim 5g over here though unfortunately no expandable storage even no nano SD storage wink we do have an IR blaster over here too.

And the selfie camera is pretty special. It's a 42 megapixel F 2.4 sensor with phase detection autofocus and the same senses on the inner and outer display. It takes a phenomenal photo straight up and the portrait mode looks great but a few issues over there I'm not sure if you can see it but I'm sure this is because this is still pre-released software. What's up guys Technica recording a selfie video on the brand new Honor magic V and yes the selfie camera can record at 4k Though limited to 30 frames per second. The selfie cam can also do 60 FPS it's 80 p and here it is the 1080 P 60 FPS selfie video on the automagically let me know what you guys think is better, as well as what you think generally of the audio and video quality when using the selfie cam. On the brand new Honor magic, V and videos at night don't look half bad either.

4k 30 FPS thank goodness we have 4k Selfie, which is pretty awesome. In terms of video, many flagships of this year already have been lacking that 1080 P at 60. Looks okay at 1980 p at 30 looks even better because of the lower frame rate high brightness. We do have the selfie camera been down to 10.5 megapixels which aid thanks to artificial intelligence at night, which makes selfies shine at night. That's a pretty good thing. I guess you could say the selfies are good, whether you take them when the phone is folded or unfolded and turn on that screen. And using that side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It's a bit unfortunate, there's no under Display sensor.

But I mean, it's understandable This is a foldable device, we do have a load of different always-on displays. And I'm not sure if you notice what I did there just unfolded the phone for the first time which put a smile on my face and we do have some wallpapers that transition when you use the foldable effect and we have an always-on display when it's unfolded too, which is awesome. And of course, you can use that side-mounted fingerprint sensor when it's unfolded. And we do have a double-tap to unlock using face ID two, which is something that many phones forget about when they have a physical fingerprint sensor. So it's truly a blessing in disguise. Of course, when the phone does unfold, it naturally enables face ID which means that you can unlock your device just by unfolding it the foldable display is 7.9 inches in size.

It is of course an early D panel with a PPI of three eight to any resolution somewhere between Q HD and Full HD. It has over 1 billion colors it is 10 but it supports HDR 10 Plus it has IMAX enhanced packed in the first foldable to do that, by the way, 800 nits of peak brightness and 19 120 hertz pulse width modulation, which is a lot Easy on your eyes Wednesday, you're reading a book late at night. And when slapping the foldable closed, you are welcomed to a cover display that has a huge 6.45-inch OLED panel with a more than the decent aspect ratio of 21 by nine, it is curved but only on one side. And it has a resolution of 10 AP with a pretty decently high pixel per inch. Of course, we also have a billion colors, HDR 10 Plus IMAX, all that jazz and we have 1000 nits peak brightness and it keeps the PWM the same.

And when using that cover panel, you can see that everything is just so darn symmetrical. Of course, the brightness and white balance are pretty much perfect. The bezels at the top and bottom of the folded or unfolded display are so symmetrical, it's just so awesome to see once again, those little details do have a smart resolution, obviously to aid in battery, as well as screen refresh rate that can go up to 120 hertz on the cover display and 90 hertz on the foldable display. And when jumping into test ufo.com, you can see that it's truly shooting at 120 FPS over here on the cover display. And of course, we can unfold that as well. And we can go into the folder displays to show you guys the 90 hertz if Nick can ever get there because he's just so darn impressed with the foldable aspect of this just seamlessly switching between 120 and 90 FPS Of course, we can also adjust the brightness too. And we can add eye comfort as well as ebook mode to make your new foldable phone pretty much like a Kindle. We have a bunch of different color temperature modes too, though, it's not extensive. And we do have a Video Enhancer to pop the IMAX theater experience of watching movies and videos.

We do have dark mode too. And it does get enabled for third-party apps. It says only a couple of them in options, but it adds to the wallpaper too. And it works with every third-party app that I've tested out. And when you fold it up, once again, super seamless. And it just adjusts that screen to the dock mode that you use with the unfolded screen. And we do have magic UI six skins of Android 12. And yes, they are no Google services over here. But it is uncertain if there will be a global release. But if there is one, we will be fully packed and fully stocked with Google services. So don't worry about that we have a bunch of different features. Over here, we have a bunch of widgets, as well as a new thing called cards in this new magic UI six. And if it has a bar underneath an app icon, you can just slice up and pin the card super seamless, I guess you could kind of say the whole experience of the automatic vias kind of being very seamless, can also shrink and enlarge folders.

If you have them shrink you have to tap on the fold to get into it. But if you enlarge the folder, you can tap on the bottom right corner to open up the fold and go to the app. But you can also just tap on the app that you see and go straight into it, which makes the whole foldable experience worth it. I've seen this on previous devices. But when using a small screen, it doesn't make it very useful. Using it on a large screen is useful. You can also go picture and picture with pretty much any app and at the top bar over there on any app, you can jump into a floating window and you can slice that to the right-hand side to pin it to the right side of your screen, which is pretty cool. And not only can you do this with one app, but you can do it with two or three or four apps. So you can have a whole bunch of apps pinned to the side of your screen there, which is awesome. And of course, we can also hop into another app. And that being YouTube over here, that icon sign in, we'll get to that in a sec, tap on the little bar at the top. And we can open up another app that is Google Chrome. And you can use that app and just slot it to the side.

And you can start multitasking, which is awesome. And you pretty much have to 21 by nine aspect ratio screens, literally to Sony exterior ones next to each other. And you can multitask with it and bring up your pop-up screens, that being the floatable windows over here for four screens. I mean, if you can handle that kind of information, that's awesome. I'm not sure if I'd use it that often. But the fact that you can do that, and then it's running so smoothly. It's just so awesome. You cannot sign in to your Google accounts on the Chinese version, of course, just to let you guys know so that you don't go buying the Chinese version before you realize you actually can't sign into Google. But you can go into Chrome and of course, the Play Store doesn't work either will work with the global version if there is one, but you can go into Google Chrome and you can sign in from Nath and you can just jump into your Gmail you can jump into Maps, you can jump into YouTube, you can jump into Netflix, anything Google related on Chrome you can hop into and sign into on Google Chrome. And yes when we are viewing things on the full screen there are some ugly black bars at the top and the bottom.

And when you have it folded, there are some bars on the left and right side of the screen to and at the top and bottom but that's pretty much the case when in portrait mode on any phone but you can zoom in or crop in that is when you use a first-party app such as gallery over here, but it does cropping quite a bit whether you on the folded or the unfolded display just to show you guys here so that you can see foldable do still crop in but I must say that the honor Magic V does a much better job and implements a lot better than other foldable around and are Another awesome feature hope it comes to westernized apps. We have CCTV here in China and you can stream multiple channels at once with your automatic V, you can watch four channels at the same time and seamlessly switch between there's the word again, seamless, it's happening all over again, this phone is just so seamless. It's ridiculous, not to mention that the haptics are so good, and anything that you're doing once again, is seamless with the cover display too. But what about the sound speaking of those dual stereo DTS X Ultra optimized speakers, let's give them a listen. And now let's give those speakers a listen when playing a couple of games.

We do also have a gamespace overlay over here. And there is turbo mode which boosts your game performance to that it's automatic, you can't toggle it on or off. But there are a bunch of features within the game space overlay, such as Hunter Mode, which just keeps you fully immersed within the game. And speaking of games, we're going to kick start things off with Ganeshan's impact of VR on the highest possible graphic settings. And the max fps was sitting between 33 and 61 FPS. But the 33 FPS only really happened when we folded the display. That's right, you fold it to the cover screen and you can unfold it back. But there's a bit of jitter between the folds. I mean, obviously, something that will get changed, but it's understandable, but it's just so once again seamless how you can just run around in a game. Unfold your phone, keep playing folded back, but do note that there is a bit of a crop factor when you have it unfolded. It looks phenomenal. But it does crop your gaming a bit. If you'd like to see some surroundings with bullet force max fps over here Ultra graphics, but when you fold the device, it kind of does a weird squishing effect and makes it look a bit funky. You have to close it and reopen it in the cover display. It's sitting at 90 FPS low, which is weird.

This game has an unlimited FPS cap. And now it's stretching when we unfolded because we started in the folded mode. But it does run pretty well 90 FPS unfolded, and it should run at 120 on the cover screen, but it does not it also sits at 90 Same things can be said with Real Racing three though when you fold the screen, it completely reopens the game and when you unfolded once again completely reopens the game. This also has an unlimited FPS cap, but whether it's folded or unfolded sits at 90 FPS, which is still better than 60. And most phones that have been released this year have been capping at 60 with the new Snapdragon eight and one chipset. So I'm pretty happy to say that all games are running at 90 which is fantastic. We do have smart RAM, which can add two gigs to the original 12 gigs of RAM that uses the internal storage and we have the new Snapdragon eight gen one chipset, which is supposedly 20% more powerful and 30% more power-efficient. But what does that mean in terms of benchmarks, we're going to be running through three different benchmarks right now.

And before we kickstart benchmarks off, we're going to be enabling the performance mode within the device and we're going to be checking out the battery percentage as well as the temperature at the start we'll be comparing this at the end of the three benchmark runs. The three benchmark runs being and two to version nine over here testing our GPU and CPU then Geekbench five testing Archer CPU performance and 3d Mock wildlife testing out just GPU performance and getting to the end of the test it drained by 8% which led to a milliamp-hour permanent drainage of 23.75 which is a hell of a lot better than the average Snapdragon 8.1 powered smartphone I've personally tested on my blog and when it comes to temperature, it added 17.7 degrees in Celsius, which is still almost 10 degrees cooler in terms of adding temperature when compared to the average Snapdragon 810 One powered smartphone test that on my blog and when it comes to future results the automatic vi with its Snapdragon eight gen one powered chipset got a score of 969,799 points and when it comes to CPU performance from Geekbench over here, it got the highest single-core score I have ever seen on an Android smartphone with 12 118 points and when it comes to 3d Mock wildlife 58.6 frames per second is incredible and of course destroying the foldable that are currently available.

The honor magic v is by far the most incredible looking foldable on the market thanks to its elegant looking vegan leather backplates from the glossy on a branded logo to The 3d curved camera module I can honestly say that this is the most well thought out design of a foldable to date inside that chiseled camera bump sets three more than capable 50-megapixel sensors which take equally good photos and videos in all different lighting conditions. And while the new spectrum sensor does aid in extra detail, I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed that there is no telephoto camera packed in here. Unfortunately, there is no under Display fingerprint sensor here either, but it's understandable and the side-mounted sensor is extremely snappy and reliable.

There is also an always-on display on the outer and inner display and while the face unlocks is not very secure, it's super fast and works while folded or unfolded due to dual selfie cameras, which by the way, take some incredible shots to be the holy grail of this device, however, is its impeccable software magic UI six is not only littered with more than useful features, but it is very well optimized due to the amount of detail used in integrating Android 12 with honors new software skin and insanely SPECT hardware. Speaking of hardware honor has cut no corners will welcome plenty of RAM class-leading Snapdragon eight gen one performance pixel popping resolutions which when paired with fluid high refresh rate panels make day-to-day tasks responsive and seamless. Not to mention that gaming on this device is more than exciting thanks to its remarkable aspect ratios while folded or unfolded, but unfortunately many games tend to crop in while gaming on the foldable screen and while on the topic of displaying the honor magic These panels are insane. They pop with 1 billion colors support HDR 10 Plus and IMAX has huge real estate and very high brightness levels making the magic VI A pleasure to use while opened or closed. This leads me to say that not only is the automatic vi the most powerful foldable on the planets, but the only foldable that makes sense

iQOO 9 Pro Unboxing and Initial Review: The Supercharged Smartphone!

This is technique and this is the IQOO 9 pro the IQOO 9 Pro comes in two different color variants you can pick it up in a burnt engine orange which is carbon fiber, vegan leather, or the version that I have yet known as the Legendary Edition, which is a frosted glass carbon fiber finish and it looks fantastic. It does come with a case in the box. That pretty much makes it look as if it's not even using a case since it resembles the actual design of the device itself.

But I'm not too sure about that camera visor at the back being so widespread, not necessarily needing it we have a 4700 milliamp hour battery under the hood as well as 120 Watt wide charging a 50 watt wireless charging a Snapdragon eight gen one chipsets and a new three dimensional 18 fold vapor chamber cooling system it is skinned with Gorilla Glass Victus on the front and aluminum frame wraps around and of course you have gloss or vegan leather at the back within that unnecessarily massive camera module at the back we all kit said with a 150 degree field of view 50 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL J and one ultra wide sensor as well as a 50 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL G and five sensor the first in the world to do so and completing the trio is a 16 megapixel telephoto cam and when comparing it to the Xiaomi 12 Pro on its left hand side and the realme GT Pro on its right to the IQOO 9 Pro does have the fisheye effect thanks to that 150 degree ultra wide sensor which matches the real me GT two Pro which was actually the world's first but where the iKOU one apps the real meat over here is that it can actually shoot its 150 degree field of view mode using 50 megapixel native whereas the realme GT two Pro can only burn it down to 12.5.

And of course once the IQOO 9 Pro does burn it down it naturally looks slightly brighter thanks to AI the IQOO 9 Pro can also shoot native 50 megapixel shots using the ultra wide cam at a slightly lower Field of View at 119 degrees and of course it can also been down to 12.5 megapixels for a neater looking shot but the 50 megapixel ISOCELL the Gen five sensor is where this device truly shines as you can see with the native 50 megapixel shot over here as opposed to the Xiaomi 12 Pro and real meat GT two pros lesser lenses and when burning down the shots once again things start to look a bit crispier especially when indoors that GN five sensor can also zoom in two times to get digital zoom over here just before the telephoto cam kicks in a 2.5 times but at two times the Xiaomi 12 Pro uses optical zoom thanks to its 50 megapixel telephoto lens it is currently been down to 12.5 megapixel showing quite a bit more detail than that of the IQOO and the real me but as soon as we hit 2.5 times zoom we're using optical on the IQOO 8 Pro here thanks to its 16 megapixel telephoto cam, which renders slightly more detail than the other two popping on over to five times digital zoom on all three devices.

The two on the left use the telephoto lens to digitally zoom while the real me lacks a telephoto lens and is only using its main camera and you can see the results over here with the IQOO truly shining quite a bit ahead of the Xiaomi and way above the real me and when it comes to 10 times digital zoom over here the iKOU seriously outshines the other two once more over here thanks to really absorbing all the lights around it and keeping all the details looking nice and natural do bear in mind that the max zoom of the IQOO 9 Pro is 30 times which is 10 times higher than the real me and Xiaomi device which is something that we're going to be testing out in the full review and when taking a shot to get a bit of depth perception over here you can see that the edge detection isn't nearly perfect on the IQOO 9 pro but I can't complain about the other two either. We can also form ultra-wide video on all devices you had 4k Though the real me is capped at 30 FPS while the IQOO 9 Pro can do 60 FPS the IQOO 9 Pro can also shoot at 150 degrees field of view ultra-wide where the real me lacks video for it and we can use 4k 60 FPS with the main sensor thanks to gimbal-stabilized optical image stabilization using that five-axis gimbal lens on the main cam. The cameras are incredible. I can't wait to deep dive into them in the full review.

We have a textured power button on the right-hand side as well as a volume rocker at the bottom we have a dual sim 5g Jul 5g Standby tray. Unfortunately no expandable storage but it does have a water-resistant seal we have a USB type C 2.0 port, I still can't understand why companies aren't doing 3.0 First we get the bottom and second speaker at the top over there. And we do have a 16-megapixel selfie camera that is the same one used in the IQOO 8 Pro and when it comes to selfies while the Xiaomi and real I boast twice the amount of megapixel counts I feel like the IQOO image comes out a bit more natural though the Xiaomi does tend to pack in a tad more detail and switching over to portrait mode. Once again no gripes in terms of edge detection on either device over here all of them look pretty decent, but I must say that the real me looks a tad washed out. But one of the downfalls of the devices that were capped at 1080 p 30 FPS selfie video recording and while we're capped at 20 p 30 FPS and the Xiaomi can do 60 FPS actually think the Vivos looks the best.

So I guess the selfie camera is the only thing that's a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to this device. But once again, I'm going to test the site in thorough detail in the full review and pull down the device and power it on for the first time over here. The first thing that we're going to be checking out is the Qualcomm 3d Sonic Max ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which debuted with the IQOO 8 Pro and it is massive. It takes one jab to register your fingerprints and you can choose a bunch of different features to go along with it. It is nine times bigger than the ultrasonic sensor found within the Samsung Galaxy is 21 Ultra and it has a whopping size of 20 by 30 millimeters and takes just point two seconds to register your finger and yes, you can pretty much put it anywhere within that massive box. Now if you are wondering if there are different animation effects, with the new origin one ocean, they've added in a couple new ones, but they are about a wallpaper that you choose. They look pretty neat, but I kind of like the big square box that showcases that wonderful huge fingerprint sensor.

We also have 2d Face Unlock here, not 3d Face Unlock it uses the selfie cam and hopping into Settings jumping into the new origin OAS ocean. It looks pretty good. It looks pretty similar to origin OAS 1.0, you can now add more columns and rows, which is nice and you can't switch through a parallel world to regular Fantasia Wes, I'm not sure how many of you feel about it. But I actually really, really liked the software has all the bells and whistles such as monster mode to beef it up, as well as separating and adding cubes, loads of different widgets. You can play around with tons and tons and tons of customizations, which of course, I'll be diving into in the full review. It just has so many rights. And there's just so much to customize over here. There's not much not to love. The one thing that you can love is that there is Google. But the one thing that you can't really love is that well Google works and I can actually sign into my account. And yes, you can download the Playstore from the actual built-in Vivo App Store.

It actually doesn't open I've never seen this on an IQOO device. I'm pretty sure it will get fixed with a software update. I'll keep you guys posted on that one. Once again in the full review. Now we do have 12 gigs of RAM and we can extend it by an extra four gigs of RAM though do bear in mind that uses u fs 3.1 storage and let's not forget about that beefed up Snapdragon eight gen one chipset run on four-nanometer process node technology which is supposedly 20% More powerful than its predecessor and 30% more power efficient and one slapping on the Monster mode the IQOO 9 pro got a whopping score of 1,028,322 points which is more than 20,000 points higher than the next in line being the Xiaomi 12 Pro with the same chipsets and way higher than its predecessor of the IQOO 8 Pro and I guess we kind of need all that power because we are running a native 1440 Pwq. HD plus resolution over here with eight pixels per inch or 500 nits in the display itself is 6.78 inches in size.

It is an E five amyloid panel over here it is of course curved. It has 1 billion colors HDR 10 Plus support 112%, DCI p3 and 140% sRGB color gamut rating 1500 nits of peak brightness, and of course, we were also treated to that new LTP Oh 2.0 technology which ranges between one and 120 hertz and slapping it on max refresh rate that being 120 things feel nice and silky smooth the iKOU nine pro checks almost every box out there thanks to it's out of this world display technology incredibly reliable super-fast 3d Sonic Max ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, super-powered Snapdragon eight gen one chipsets massive 4700 milliamp-hour battery with 120 Watt wide and 50 Watt wireless charging, not to mention it packs in one of the best camera systems I have ever used, making me extremely excited to deep dive into all aspects of the device.

Oppo Reno 7 pro Gaming test

This is the new Reno seven Pro. And yes, it has only been about five months since I reviewed its predecessor. But anyway, let's just dive right in and see how many apples can improve over this short period. First of all, while it doesn't come with earphones anymore, we are still getting a 65-watt charger, USB cable, and a pretty decent-looking case in the box, which is always nice to see. But what is even nicer are the design changes to the phone itself. It now has a flatter design.

And I think it's slimmer than the Reno six Pro, which was already a pretty slim phone. It's well built as the solid have to the phone feels great in the end. And even the haptic feedback still feels good. I think the rear of the phone is a little busy looking with the different types of finishing around the camera bump area, but I think it is a pretty good-looking foot, especially in this style of like color. There's a structural blue option as well. But I think there's just too much going on with the design there, especially when you include that eye-catching notification light around the camera bump. But design is subjective after all, and some folks might like it. However, I think that the front of the phone looks great no matter which color option it is because it's mostly just a screen.

It has really small bezels all around and I like this flat display. content looks great since there are no reflections at the edges. Unlike a curved display. It has nice-looking colors and brightness is good enough for outdoor use as well. This splatter screen also works better for games with buttons near the bottom of the screen. Like mobile legends, for example, the display is still just 90 Hertz. But it's not a massive difference to me over 120 hertz, and it still looks more than smooth enough. However, like the Reno six Pro, all of the games, I tried still can't seem to run at a higher refresh rate, which is a bummer, but at least most of the apps I use can take advantage of it. Except for the power amp for some reason, the display will also drop down to 60 Hertz to save battery when there is no touch input for around four seconds or when a video is playing.

And guess what, we finally have stereo speakers here to go along with this nice-looking screen. So it's a huge upgrade to the multimedia experience for me. But before we get too excited, there is still no official IP rating here which is a bit disappointing. But if you are a bit more careful with your phone, OPPO does provide a two years warranty which maybe balances things out a little. Also like the Reno six Pro, I find the position of the fingerprint sensor a little too low for me, but on the bright side, it is fast and accurate. In terms of specifications, the Reno seven Pro is using a MediaTek density 1200 Max chipset, which is more or less the same as the Reno six pro since I think most of the extra customizations they did are mostly AI-related and for image processing. Anyway, it's still a solid performer that is probably comparable to the Snapdragon 870 I have no issues with performance or heat in day-to-day use. And as long as you keep to low graphics settings it runs even games like engine impact relatively well.

Battery life seems to be pretty solid as well. And while I did notice a slightly higher battery drain while playing games compared to the Reno six Pro for some reason, I can still get a full day of use out of the phone pretty easily. No wireless charging here, but it does support 65 Watt fast charging if you need a quick top up the Reno seven Pro is running color Westfall based on Android 11. Like with recent colors or s it's a pretty decent user experience with a ton of customization options and features. I can customize the app icons' accent colors and even the shape of the Quick Settings icon. I can quickly launch a function while unlocking the phone which is useful for safe entry tickets control music playback even when the screen is off. And it is one of the best implementations for one handed mode I've seen.

This is on top of the basic stuff, of course, like double tap to sleep, taking a long screenshot, gaming mode, and whatnot. There is a new anti peeping feature for notifications as well. So when the front camera detects that there is someone else looking at your screen, it will hide notifications automatically. Of course, this means that the front camera is active whenever you're using the phone, so you have to be willing to live with that to use this feature. Also, I did notice a bit more bloatware on the phone, which is a bit of a bummer. And for iPhone released in 2022 to still be running Android 11 is not a good look. Moving on to the camera performance. The Reno seven Pro comes with three rear cameras, but one of them is a two megapixel macro camera.

So it's more like the main camera is now using a larger Sony IMAX 766 sensor and it performs well, for the most part, the phone has a quite pleasing style of image processing. So most of the time, it's just point and shoots and the phone will figure out the rest just that it's not the most natural looking especially when using a network maybe it's to compensate for the lack of OH is but the processing is just way too heavy. The ultra wide angle camera looks okay in good lighting and the ball network does help a little it's still just okay. video quality is somewhat decent, but it doesn't have Oh is and if you want electronic stabilization, the only option is the ultra steady mode. Which only shoots at 10 ATP, so that's not great. The front camera is probably the highlight of the phone here with a newer Sony sensor along with a slightly wider lens. As long as there's enough light performance is good.

Even in high contrast lighting or at night, it's able to capture nice looking shots, even in very poor lighting, it is still able to do a somewhat decent job. The extra features it offers mostly work pretty well to the bokeh effect it looks decent. And while I'm not an expert when it comes to selfies, I find the beauty effects pretty decent looking too, as long as you don't push it too far. The only minor drawback is probably just the video resolution, which is limited to just 10 ATP. But other than that quality is pretty good too. And it has fun effects as well. If you need a telephoto camera, this might not be the best option. But other than that camera performance is good, especially for the front camera. Overall, the Venus seven probe might not seem like a big upgrade at first, but because of the updated design, better camera hardware and upgrade to stereo speakers, I think it's one of the most substantial upgrades I've seen to the Reno series in recent years, which is probably why the retail price of the phone also went up a little though oppo does run promotions from time to time so it's not that bad. I think it's still a bit expensive, but that's because I'm not the target audience for this phone. So some of the unique selling points don't appeal to me as much. However, I think that having a great front facing camera is more important to you. The windows seven pro could be a good option. It does almost everything well enough multimedia experience is great to build quality and design are solid and you get to save a bit of money considering that it is still cheaper compared to other top of the line phones.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 PRO: FINAL LONG TERM REVIEW

Again I did mess having a trackpad might not be as big a deal for some but my keyboards and pointing devices kind of go together. The experience here just felt a little jarring. The keyboard itself feels spacious, as spacious as possible given the 11-inch tablet we are dealing with the 1.2-millimeter travel I mean, diving into this was nice to know that the way Xiaomi is implemented this keyboard means the angle at which the tablet is when you when the keyboard is attached. It's fixed. You can't change it, which is something you could do with both Apple and Sony But this angle seems to be fine for most use cases, so I didn't particularly mind it. Talking about use cases. One major use case for tablets, especially these days is video conferencing.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5: FINAL LONG TERM REVIEW

Whether it's talking to our loved ones over Skype or attending a class or that business call over zoom, the selfie camera hi, I wish it was aligned for lamp landscape instead of portrait. The camera itself does fairly well. This is an eight-megapixel f2 With electronic stabilization and shoots good selfies. And the selfie video was much better than I anticipated. Not to the back we have a single 13 megapixel F two camera and from a tablet camera perspective. It feels solid. As you can see, the images turned out just fine. Even low light shots with night mode enabled weren't horrible. And if you should shoot video, I'd recommend you to not cause 4k 30 isn't usable. I mean, just don't be that guy. from a software perspective, we have the tablet version of my way which is just like the regular version of my UI, but with some cosmetic changes and weird omissions, like say the theme store. I can't believe it's been seven whole years since the first iPad launched. And we are still asking for theme support.

Now barring that the user experience is excellent everything feels smooth and fluid on this 120 hertz IPS panel I would have preferred Amylin hell, yes, but this is very good. It's pretty punchy and has both HDR 10 as well as Dolby Vision support, the resolution builder was a little lower Quad HD so we get a very crisp 274 pixels per inch 16 by 10 aspect ratio display the Xiaomi pad five is pretty easy. On the other hand, it's a little over 500 grams at 6.9 millimeters thick. Even with the keyboard case on I didn't mind the way it usually I mean, I do remove the magnetic Keyboard Case from time to time when I read comics or something if I'm using it for a little too long. But for the most part, the iPad Five is pretty reliable for a tablet with an 11-inch screen.

And as you can see gaming on this was a pleasant experience the excellent display of the speakers and most importantly, the SOC on the inside Qualcomm Snapdragon 860, which is a 55 plus with a new name. But even a two-year-old flagship Qualcomm chip manages to perform perfectly fine, we get six gigs of RAM and 128 or 256 gigs of onboard storage, and running things off is at 720 milliamp-hour battery. The battery life on this thing's insane, the idle drain is negligible. So even I generally use tablets for a little bit of night reading or watching some videos in bed my usage isn't particularly taxing, say it's 45 minutes to an hour each day on average. And I could get multiple days out of this, the idle battery drain is tallow. The bad five also supports up to 33 watts of charging, but at least in some markets, Xiaomi is only including a 22 and a half-watt charger in the box.

So what we have so far built-in design, I'm gonna call it excellent. The display is very good performance again, a very good battery and charging. I'm gonna bring that back to excellent user experience elevated very good talk a few points for this being new and having some ads in it. But hey, the global ROM is supposed to be ad-free, so feel free to change the rating if you want to. And finally the price Xiaomi has priced the bad five at 9099 Yuan and China converts to roughly 23,000 rupees or 310 US dollars. In Europe. They've launched it at 350 euros though, which is no surprise given the European prices are generally much higher.

For this asking price Shang seems to have put together one hell of a tablet, probably the best bang for your buck Android tablet available today. Come to think of it there are only two other tablets that I could see myself recommending over this at around this price. One the Lenovo Pad Pro 11's the one that's got pretty much the same specs, it's got an 870 instead just like the Xiaomi pad five Pro, it's also priced the same as the bad five Pro.

What I love about that tablet is the fact that it rates this 120 hertz LCD for a 90 hertz OLED which I think is perfect. Now the other tablet I see as competition is whatever iPads priced around the same. I mean with Apple you're gonna have to go back a few years to hit this price point. And so the show me bad five is gonna be better on all fronts. You know, the display, build whatever battery is going to have better specs, but at the end of the day all mean this equation it boils down to Apple versus Android and sadly Apple has done a much better job but tablet adoption, which means there are way more optimized ads for tablets on the Apple side of things. Shall we die to go that's been my take on Xiaomi start five, an excellent tablet that checks almost all the boxes?

The ROB of your tablet slash laptop doesn't have a window, does it? I don't think so. I mean, he should get that. No, maybe yours does. I doubt it. This one does. So today we're checking out a unique form factor from our Oh gee, this is the flow z 13. It's kind of a convertible type thing. A little bit of gaming, a teeny bitsy bit of gaming you can have in Nvidia 3050 Mobile chip inside of then. So that is enough cool. This is a box in a box of scenarios. Look at this very dense metallic box.

Full tab over here. I have a 12 700 H chip that's from Intel. It's an eye seven 2.3 gigahertz it has a one terabyte SSD 16 gigs of RAM RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU WQUX ga at 60 hertz, 500 nits there's a lower resolution 120-hertz option available as well. A camera on the back since the tablet you can shoot photos from here. Oh gee, nice kickstand. Prop this thing up in several different angles, comfy grip, because you have this alkyne Tara-like soft-touch material, a rubber portion down here for a little durability, possibly Oh, look at that, even the little tap turn on the red lighting that's fully RGB capable.

But of course, you have the RRG style with the red on there. This gives us our first glance at the inside. And this is what your setup looks like full-size keyboard setup, but it pulls off just like this, you can take that to the couch, you can see the RGB lit up so it's no longer just red. And we can take this angle all the way down to this for like a desktop touch-based input snaps into place and have it flat on a table like that, or up in this ergonomically pleasing kind of angle. You also wonder with the soft hybrid, soft, hard keyboard decks, how they're going to feel to type on and this one doesn't flex very much. And then the whole package just flaps down into something that's incredibly thin and light, we have our power button over here.

This is going to be your volume rocker volume up and down USB type A there's an analog audio port on this side of the device, we have a Thunderbolt USB type C connector, this is an interesting port because this is going to be for expansion. If you want to have an EGPU and take your gaming to an even more enhanced place then you can use this external port to do so having that flexibility in that expansion is nice as well. So that's what it looks like. It's pretty portable itself. That's a 100-watt power adapter and it's not a proprietary connector. it's charging. overtype see which is nice, because you probably have these things lying around. I don't know if you have 100 Watt lying around, but you could charge slowly with some of your extra power adapters. There's also an extension cable in here.

So yeah, 4k on a 13-inch display is a very tight pixel density, but that's going to be a nice viewing experience, that option is going to give you 60 hertz if you're going to spend a lot of time gaming on this device, you probably will opt for the 120 hertz 10 ADP FHD version of this display. So you have that option. I liked this design touch with the RGB on the back just gives it a little bit of extra personality compared like it's not business all the time. It's something a little bit more special. It feels a little bit more, I don't know, futuristic. So, of course, we have an armory crate built-in here it's going to give you your specs, temperatures, memory storage, but it's also going to let you control your system lighting wallpaper, and things like this.

You can see you have all types of RGB effects as well as brightness I'm boosting the brightness up over here static breathing strobing and creating your own in the aura creator. It's a lot of personalization. Let's go ahead and hear the speakers 2160 P fast okay, the audience noise here there are potatoes on the table picked out and I think you're gonna get a kick out of them. I've never even seen anything like it before. And the reason we are gathered round very loud for Since the speakers are down here on the bottom, that's kind of where your hands want to live. So it's just like you just flip it like this. And then you hold it down here and then the speakers are lined up with your actual ear.

Locate That's a tip if you pick this up, don't be afraid to flip it around. Now there's also a pen that you can get for pen input and then that's where some of these angles of input come into play it is touch-capable for both your finger or pen. iphone 14 final design unboxing and review

New details have started to leak on the iPhone 14. And it looks like this is the iPhone that changes everything and the entire iPhone lineup for this year should be better than it's ever been before. But some believe that Apple is making some really big mistakes with these new iPhones. And there is maybe just a little bit of controversy surrounding Apple's latest ingredients. everything you need to know about the 2022 iPhone 14 lineup in addition to those all-new Apple, silicon, Max AirPods, Pro two new iPads and so much more. The 2022 iPhone lineup is set to be one of the biggest upgrades and one of the biggest changes that the iPhone has seen in years. Now right off the bat, one of the very first changes you'll notice here with the iPhone 14 is of course at first glance, it's designed.

You'll notice here that Apple is doubling down on this industrial design language we're seeing on a number of their different products. These are box your edges squared-off corners, the iPhone 14 looks more substantial, more dimensional, it's going to be thicker than previous iPhones, I don't know how else to say but the iPhone 14 is not the thin and lightweight design that we saw with the iPhone six and success and probably for good reason because there was some controversy surrounding those design choices. But I know a lot of you guys out there are not a fan of this box your design, it kind of looks like the iPhone four, it doesn't have the rounded edges that a lot of people found was much more comfortable to hold in their hands. If you were a fan of those thinner letter way phones, that's probably not going to be the case on the iPhone 14. But one positive to this design is that because the phone is supposed to be getting thicker, that should lead to hopefully better cooling better battery life more room for components inside stuff like that, which we'll get into, but also should lead to the removal of the camera bump on the back, which a lot of people hated.

Now the camera apparatus on the back should be flush with the back of the iPhone, so will no longer be protruding and sort of wiggling around on the table every time you set your iPhone down. We've also got some new information here on another huge change coming to the iPhone 14. And that is with the knots. According to now to multiple credible sources, Apple is at least testing the removal of the notch on at least one Pro and iPhone 420 22 Probably the 14 Pro max. And maybe we could see this removed off of both the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. But not just that. We're also hearing now that Apple is going to move the face ID system that true depth Camera Tech Under the display. So you're still going to have full access and full convenient use of face ID and the security of face ID but it would be sort of hidden away under the display. And also according to credible Apple leaker, Dylan DK T. Apple is at least experimenting with a pill-shaped cutout and not a circular cutout that we've seen on multiple different devices and Android phones over the last couple of years. And that's sort of the latest that we know right now, I don't know if this is a micro notch, a micro-nano notch, whatever the case may be whatever shape Apple decides to do it, it would be nice to sort of get more screen real estate back and sort of have the notch be sort of gone to the wayside.

And also this little pill-shaped cut-out might be a way for Apple to sort of differentiating the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max from every other slab of glass out there and sort of make it stand out from Android phones. And even more numerous suggests that Apple won't give us a whole punch cut out or a pill cut out. But sort of a combination of both on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max not sure if this is just for cosmetics just to make the iPhone 14 Pro models look different. Or if this is for the face ID system to work more efficiently. But this rumor is coming from display Analyst Ross Young who has been pretty spot on recently with a really good track record. So what do you think? What kind of notch Do you think we'll see on the Pro models of the iPhone 14?

And also speaking of sort of face ID What about touch ID there have been a lot of rumors since the iPhone 13 that we were going to get to this dream combination of both face ID and touch ID you'd have the best of both worlds. And obviously, it didn't happen with the iPhone 13. And now there is sort of new questions and new speculation on whether it will happen with the iPhone 14 And I'm sorry to burst your bubble and give you some bad news. But as of right now, we've got no concrete information. No credible sources can confirm that touch ID is coming back to the iPhone 14 Pro. We've heard Apple is testing it, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen at least this year on the 2022 iPhone 14 lineup, I'm sorry to say, And speaking of bursting bubbles, I've got some more bad news to report on another brand new iPhone launching hopefully sooner than later in 2022 and that is the all-new iPhone SE three that we could see in just a month or two.

The last iPhone SE is to be released. The iPhone SE two did come in the form of a press release Back in the spring of 2020, so it would make sense for Apple to sort of two years later, give us an update to this phone. Now, when we had sort of first heard rumors about the iPhone SE three, there was a lot of lofty talk about some big redesigns we were going to see this iPhone 11 design with a larger display, we were going to have two cameras on the back, we could see a hole punch sort of cut out on the display that would sort of closely follow the design of the iPhone 14 Pro.

And also probably the biggest shocker of all would be Touch ID built into the power button. Now what we know right now, and according to again to accurate leaker Dylan dKt, is that Apple is working on this, and this new design might actually become, but probably not until the iPhone SE four in 2024, or 2025. Instead, the new iPhone SE is coming this year, and mostly just some hardware improvements on the inside, we should be seeing this new 5g support, hopefully, a newer Apple silicone processor, maybe the 15, bionic from the iPhone 13 series, and maybe some other smaller improvements, maybe a better physical camera, maybe some smart HDR processing, getting tweaked in there as well for better photos and videos. But as for the design on the outside, not a whole lot is expected to change. Same iPhone a body, same touch ID, home button, same single camera, if you're sort of hoping for this bigger refresh this bigger redesign of the iPhone, I see.

Don't get your hopes up. Because again, this is just like, Touch ID is not going to happen this year. Another huge change coming to the iPhone 14 lineup is the addition of an all-new model, which is great news for a lot of you guys out there. But also really bad news for others because I'm sorry to say if you haven't heard this before, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But the iPhone 14 Mini is not going to exist. The 12 Mini and 13 minis were fantastic phones and sort of the dream iPhone for many of you out there, but the mini lineup is not sticking around in 2022. Instead, the iPhone 14 lineup is going to look a little something like this, there's going to be a 6.1 inch iPhone 14, a 6.1 inch iPhone 14 Pro, a 6.7 inch iPhone 14 Pro Max, and then a 6.7 inch iPhone 14 Max. So instead of a smaller version of the iPhone 14, Apple is going to make a bigger version sort of geared towards those out there who want the biggest screen iPhone possible. But they don't need the Pro and camera setup with the three cameras. They don't need the promotion display. They don't care about ProRes or any of the other pro features.

They just want the biggest iPhone display possible so it's easier to read the text and to record videos and stuff like that. They just want the larger iPhone display without the Pro features and the pro price tag. And that should be where the iPhone 14 Max comes in and sort of checks all the boxes now getting away from that bad news and pack two good news. Let's talk about the camera improvements that come into the iPhone 14 series. Now, rumors on this are a bit a little bit sparse and there's sort of been some mixed information. But as of right now we at least think we know that on the iPhone 14 Pro Series at the camera the main camera is going to get a significant upgrade going from 12 megapixels up to 48 megapixels for better photos and hopefully better videos as well.

Now to be clear, Apple is probably not going to give you 48-megapixel stills from this 48-megapixel sensor. But instead, Apple would use a technique used by many other companies called pixel binning to combine those pixels and give you better 12-megapixel stills that should be hopefully you know higher quality, maybe higher resolution and also sort of giving that neural engine and smart HDR processing sort of more data to work with to hopefully give you better photos and better photo capabilities on your all-new iPhone 14 phone. Also, we had heard some rumors about this Astrophotography mode coming to the iPhone 13. That didn't cut. And maybe we could see that with the iPhone 14 series and also 8k video recording. This has been an odd rumor, but there have been some rumors that 8k video recording is coming to the iPhone 14 Pro. Will we see it this year or next year? Not exactly sure how this one pans out.

But hey, Lisa has got to tell you that right now. That is a rumor on the table. There has also been some history on what could be inside of the all-new iPhone 14 lineup. We have heard rumors that Apple is testing a new vapor chamber cooling system to sort of keep all the components inside these iPhones running as cool and as optimal as possible. And also what could the chip be an Apple sort of follows what they've done for years and years it would be the A 16 bionic it'd be more powerful, more efficient, should be able to handle anything you want to throw at your shiny new iPhone 14. But of course just to say this has been unconfirmed. There has been some speculation and of course rumor year after year that Apple could put a new chip inside the iPhone maybe it's an N chip this year it's the two or a modified version of the Mone. I'm not sure why people want this and what the benefit of an M chip would be inside the iPhone 14 If you have thoughts, let me know down below. But that has been at least a rumor that Apple could change if the chip though, it's probably not going to happen. And also, we have heard rumors now that Apple could remove the SIM tray on the iPhone 14 lineup as well.

This is one of those things that hope doesn't become reality, because I sort of like the convenience of physically swapping Sims in and out, it's just sort of nice to have. And I know the removal of the SIM tray would give a little bit more room and Apple would sort of adopting, he said, I'm not exactly sure how that would play out or if it would just be North America or internationally. So a lot of questions on that, but I for one, like the SIM tray, and I hope Apple doesn't remove it please Apple, give me at least one more year with my SIM tray. And of course, we still don't know what colors the iPhone 14 could come in what new storage options it could have all those little fine details will soon hopefully be emerging. But what we do know with a pretty good degree of certainty is that the iPhone 14 lineup will be launching in the fall of 2022, probably in September or maybe October of 2022.

And that is about everything we know right now there have been some wild leaks and wild rumors about what we could see what we cannot see. But as of right now, the big story with the iPhone 14 is the design. It's the removal of the notch and hopefully a much improved main camera on the back of these shiny new iPhones. I for one cannot wait to see them debut in the fall and hopefully more leaks sort of continue to come out over the next couple of months. GOOGLE PIXEL FOLD 5G unboxing and review

The Google pixel fold is looking incredible and I'll be sharing the details right after this.

Today we've got confirmation of, and the design of the upcoming Google pixel fold. So the Google pixel fold is coming. And what we've known about the device for some time, many details have still been a mystery. Some Lucas suspected that the pixel fold would launch alongside the six, but of course, that didn't happen. And thankfully information is now starting to appear way back in August code was discovered in the Android 12 beater that mentioned code names for all the upcoming Google phones and the code name referred to the pixel sixes as well as another device, which was named passport.

This was most likely gonna be for the new pixel fold at given that it is an inward fold. So the code name passport makes sense. And looking at the code, it seems likely that the pixel fold at wood sport the same Google tensor chip as the six, and also share its cameras. Now it turns out that only some of that information was correct as nine to five Google this week ever manage to find more information into side the Google camera application. Now inside the new camera app, the phone is being referred to as the pixel fold 5g. But according to the data, it will not have the same camera system as the pixel six, the code reveals the main camera is gonna be a 12.2 megapixel Sony IMX 360 3, and that's gonna be supported up by another 12 megapixel Sony IMX eight six, and this is gonna be an ultra wide camera.

It reveals the two selfie cameras, which are likely to be one on the inner main display. And the other one on the outer display and both are gonna be eight megapixel, Sony IMX, 3 55 S. Now, recently Google have been granted a patent from the USA patent office for a multi access soft hinge mechanism. It was a 58 page document and it described the advanced hi system to create a minimal SEMA. When the devices folded, it described an inward folding screen, which is what Google plans to use in the Google fold. So this will no doubt be for the pixel fold 5g when it comes to the display, thanks to reliable leaker Ross young. We know that the pixel fold is gonna sport a 7.57 inch main display. And this will be a 120 Hertz LTPO display given the size of the main inner display.

We can also be pretty sure that the cover display is gonna be about 6.2 inches, and we're unsure of the exact resolutions, but given what the phone is gonna be competing with, it's likely gonna be a 120 Hertz ammo lead. There are rumors that it could also be the first phone from Google sport and Indi display selfie camera. But these are simply just rumors personally. I hope it doesn't as, for a start. They just don't produce good quality images. And secondly, if that's the case, it's starting to look identical to the Z fold three. Now, in terms of the rest of the design, there's been a few concepts floating around for the pixel fold with some based on the design of the five and the more recent ones based on the six. Now, I think it's gonna look more like pixel six in terms of its overall design and probably something like this concept video from Wacker.

Can the pixel fold 5g didn't alongside the six range leaving many to wonder when the phone will finally be launched? There's a reference in the camera app to pixel 2022 foldable. So we know that it will be coming next year. We also have Android 12 L for larger devices coming early next year. So it's seen very likely that Google is gonna debut the pixel fold along with Android 12 L, as they debut Android with the pixel, there are no solid leaks on a release date yet, but I imagine we'll be seeing the fold around March. Now, for those of you excited for the Google pixel fold 5g, though, we're now gonna run through the full specs design and the expected pricing to help you guys decide if this is the phone for you. So with the pixel fold 5g, we get a 7.6 inch main display when unfolded it's a 120 Hertz LTPO display, but the exact resolution is still unknown.

When folded up, we get a cover display, which is a 6.2 inch display. Again, the resolution is unknown, but it will be a 120 Hertz LTPO display on the pixel fold 5g. We get two selfie cameras that there's one on the cover display. And one on, on the main internal display. Now both cameras are eight megapixel wide angle cameras and where there are many rumors that the inner display is gonna be an in display selfie camera personally. I hope they're both just punch holes when it comes to the rear, we're expecting a dual camera set up, and this is gonna consist of a 12.2 megapixel primary wide angle, and then a 12 megapixel ultra wide. The phones gonna be powered by the Google tensor chipset. The same that's found in pixel six. And while it's not the most powerful chip, it's a perfectly capable one.

And it has great AI performance. The pixel fold 5g is expected to come with 12 gigabytes of Ram and the choice of 2 56 or five 12 storage. And it's all gonna be powered up by a 4,800 million power battery with 30 what, fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. The pixel fold 5g is gonna have an in display fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.2 wifi six, and ultra wideband support. And it will, of course, ship with Android 12 LM. Now, no pricing has been leaked yet, but the pixel folds 5g is expected to start from around a hundred dollars to compete with the likes of the Z fold. So overall it's looking like a great phone and it's great to see after the new look of their recent pixels, they're continuing to make their way into the smart for market foldable devices are expected to gain more market share as the years go on. So the OnePlus temporal has just been officially announced over in China, even though we're just a week into 2022. And frankly, that new year's hangover still feels brutally fresh. I only just regain the power of sight on Monday. However, while the OnePlus temporal is now officially a thing, there's still bug all word around the UK or us a release date and those internet rumors have it more around the sort of March 2022 area for a global launch, which would be more in keeping with OnePlus as usual timetable. But come on OnePlus, please, please. Don't blue ball us this way, but anyway, at least with the Chinese announcement, we now know lots more about OnePlus, a big new flagship blower. So first up the design and while the materials that themselves have not been officially confirmed, the form does appear to be constructed from Matt's glass around the back with a curve display front, quite similar to last year's hand. The one plus 10 pro will be 8.55 millimeters fixed or slightly skinnier than the one plus nine pro from last year, which is already fairly as felt good sort of dimensions for a 6.7 Cher. Now the one plus 10 pro will come rocking an LTPO Amy display. And while one plus didn't confirm the screen size or resolution those internet rumors do strongly point to a 6.7 inch Q H D panel, which sounds perfectly legit. And apparently, the color reproduction and the contrast could be even more improved over the excellent one plus nine pro panel one plus has confirmed that the refresh rate on that one plus temporal display will top off at 120 Hertz, not a massive shock.

You can expect a butchery smooth per performance when you're flicking around the various menus and desktops. And of course in your supported apps. And apparently, that refresh rate will also drop possibly into the single digits as well, just to help save on the battery power when you don't need that fast refresh media fans will also once again, be treated to a stereo speaker set up, hopefully pumping out some powerful output. And no, unfortunately, there is no headphone Jack action here as expected, but you do get Bluetooth 5.2 and that's normally nice and reliable here on the one plus smartphones that's for the performance. Well, that comes courtesy of Qualcomm's Billy big Bocks Snapdragon it gen one chipset, which was announced just last month in good old Hawaii. Now this will be one of the most powerful, more about SRCs in 2022. It's already been confirmed to be used in like some Shay and real BES, upcoming flagship smartphones as well.

And that'll be backed by a nice and NiPy bit, a DDR five Ram as well. And while one plus didn't specifically mention how much memory would be stashed inside of the OnePlus 10 pro you can expect a minimum of eight gigs possibly rise at 1216 gigs on the top end models. If you happen to have missed all of the snap drugs and itch None news, well, this promises nipple tweaking the impressive performance. It's a four-nanometer platform that according to Qualcomm is 20% more powerful than the snap drug and idiot from last year and 30% more power-efficient helped along by that much smaller size. Likewise, the GPU is 30% more capable while being 25% more power-efficient. And this supports real-time, 10 bit HG graphics render and for a desktop-style game and experience with the ability to once again, update the GPU draw I, as, as time goes on, and you've also got twice the Tenter accelerator performance for your neural net shenanigans with the seventh-gen AI engine, very fancy pants stuff.

Indeed. When it comes to the battery tech world one plus temporal will spot a 5,000 million capacity battery now, which is a big step up from the 4,500 of the one plus nine pros with that big old battery, you can expect all-day battery life from the OnePlus temp pro, especially if that snap and ATM one turns out to be as energy-efficient as promised. You've also got support for 80, what super V charging, which will power you up from empty to default in under half an hour. Now that's particularly interesting because it means that OnePlus is ditching its own much-loved warp charge tech in favor of its sister company ops super V instead. And apparently, the OnePlus temp pro will also support 50 whatever charges that's wireless charge and very, very NiPy indeed for a cable-free solution. And there will be reverse wireless charging on there too.

Now when it comes to the camera tech one, plus is once again, collaborating with hassle blood and as they've had over a, you now to forge this relationship, we should see a more significant impact on the optics compared with the one plus nine series, certainly, on paper, the one plus 10 pro camera tech does sound very familiar. Indeed like last year's one plus nine pro you've got a 48 megapixel primary camera sensor and a 50 megapixel ultra wide angle shooter both come in with op image stabilization as well as a third. It megapixel Teleo tool lens. So basically really bloody similar to the OnePlus nine pro though, at least it sounds like OnePlus has ditched that pointless two megapixel monochrome lens, and yeah, while the megapixel count and all that may not have changed, the actual camera sensor itself almost certainly has done. It'll be interesting to see what software improvements we've got introduced to the one plus temporal as well.

Of course, I do get on fine with one plus nine pros, camera tech, but it's not quite perfect for shooting shots of the farm or slightly mental pets. When the conditions are less than perfect, you can check out more on that or my in-depth one plus nine pro long term review, which should be going live in the next few days, and around the front of the one plus 10 pro you've got a, a 32 megapixel selfie cam, which is double the megapixels of the previous generation. And yeah, that's UHS just what I needed now that I'm hitting my forties. And there were wrinkles and sags and bags of getting even more pronounced, definitely more detail. Whenever I shoot snaps of my mug and the one plus 10 pro will come rocking the oxygen or west 12 launcher running on top of Dr. 12. But OnePlus has already confirmed that the launcher will now share features and design language with the color OS launcher used by op phones.

Hello, everybody. Welcome back to another blog with review reviews. Now, today, again, this is my second blog of 2022, and I'm super excited to share with you guys, uh, the unboxing of the cell 12 product I just got here in Malaysia. Now, bear in mind that this is not the official version, the land here in Malaysia. I got mine ship directly from China. And just in terms, of pricing, this device here is approximately 3000 rings including the shipping costs and all that. And my version here is the base variant with just eight gigabytes of Ram and 128 gigabytes of internal memory. All right. So like I mentioned, uh, some of you guys out there, I heard that some people are just feeling that the smartphone is just getting boring with all their new releases, but I act to differ because I'm very, very excited for this guy right here.

Now, bear in mind that the 12 pro came in four different colors. There is the green, the blue, uh, there is also the purple and mine is the black here. The reason why I went with this black version here is that I'm not too fun of those pish kinds of colors. Uh, that means that kind of light blue, light, green, all those kinds of colors. I'm not too fun that, and because I plan to use this phone right here for the next few months.

So this peeling off the plastics right in front of the camera and that's out of the way, I'm very, very excited to see what comes in the box. And okay, so first and foremost, of course, you'd cut this, uh, cell, uh, the thing here, which I think houses the transparent case. Let's see if they give us a transparent case again. Yes. It comes with the same transparent case here. Uh, we've got some manuals in the box as well, but I'm gonna show you the case because that's what, um, boxing is for. Right? So here we go. Uh, the typical, very, very cheap feeling, transparent case. Uh, I'm gonna put that down for now. And of course, we do have, this are of the show guys. This is the Selmi 12 pro of course I have to take a look at it myself, before showing it to the camera.

But yeah, we'll put that down for now because we want, see what else came in the box? Uh, naturally, oh, we do have a large 120 what fast charge charger. So if you remember in the previous year for theme 11, I think, uh, Selmi move the charger from the box, but guess what is back the hundred and 20 Watts charger and last but not least, we also have the type C cable in the box. There's nothing else in the box. That's it, guys. That's it. All right. So we are gonna unwrap this 12 pro here, uh, in front of you guys as well. We do have the new site logo here, of course. Uh, and let's, it is very quickly.

All right, we got that out of the way. And of course, I'm gonna remove that hideous, uh, sticker at the back. So this guy, this is how the sound 12 pro looks like on first impressions. I think this reminds me of, uh, the current phone that I'm using right now. And that is the one plus, uh, nor two right here. It looks very similar actually. Uh, in terms of the back materials, yes, we have here a mat material at the back. You can fill the logo at the back here as well. I'm not sure what kind of texture that is, but very, very smooth kind of Matt materials at the back. So if, uh, you notice this for other brands, I do have another black Matt black device right here. This is the Vivo V 23. This one has a lot of texture.

The back is very glitter and all that, but for the C 12 pro, it is a very clean back panel, totally blacked out. And a, I love that. We also have a very smooth, uh, I'm not sure what kind of materials, probably aluminum kind of camera bump, which is also very smooth. But what I want to highlight here is the kind of sensors that we have on the back. So if you notice the main sensor here is massive guys, this is the latest 50 megapixel IMX 7 0 7 from Sony. It's a huge sensor over here. So I'm going to be doing a couple of tests. I'm super excited to check out the camera here because, you know, uh, I like to take a lot of photographs with my smartphone. Apart from that, you also have another 50-megapixel ultra Y and there is also a final 50 megapixel, uh, portrait kind of lens.

So altogether here we have 50, 50, 50. So that makes 150 megapixels on the backend, sir. All right, guys. So now that we've done taking a look at the back panel of the device, let's take a look at the rest of the device. Now on the top here, I do notice that we have a stereo speaker. So one at the top, and one also at the bottom, again, this is tuned by Harmon carbon so we can expect some pretty good audio. Now, moving down to the bottom, once more, we see that we have the type C port, and obviously, there is no sign of the headphone Jack around at all. Now on the right-hand side here, we do have a volume rocker together with the lock button and on the left is completely clean with not no buttons whatsoever. All right, now we're gonna flip the device to the front here and check out the display.

We do have a very, very nice 6.73 inches display. That's refreshed at 120 Hutz. And the best part about this is actually that the display here is a two display and it's got a display made a plus reading. So that means that this is an awesome-looking display. Uh, bear in mind that the display does curve a little bit on the sides on the left and right. So it is, uh, a curve display over here. Uh, some of you might not actually like the curved display, but overall I think that the curve is quite minimal so that you don't have accidental touches on the left. And, and right. Uh, now down with the display, let's cover a little bit more of the specifications because, uh, that's one of the strongest points of the SEL 12 pro for just 3000 ringette here. You're getting a lot of specifications on this device. So let's start very quickly. Uh, we do have the snapdragon latest processor, the snapdragon eight gen one. So this is supposedly slightly better than a snapdragon, 8 88. Apart from the, you also have a UFS 3.1 Ram, you have LP DDR five, uh, storage inside here. So everything is gonna be super quick. Uh, another thing that you should also note here is that in terms of the battery power, we do have a 4,600 battery, which is fairly large, not the largest

Hello, everybody. Welcome back to another blog with an arfat review. So today we are in a new environment. Uh, no, I have not moved my place. I'm just, uh, in this room here for the night anyway, I just came back from the Huawei P 50 pocket launch earlier today. And I have quite a fair bit to share with you guys. It is a very, very interesting foldable phone. All right. So let's just jump into the device right away. I had a few minutes play with it around. And the first thing that I have to mention here is that affordable itself, the mechanism was very, very solid. Uh, as soon as you close the device, it has a solid tart. And I love that about the Hui P 50 pocket. All right. So design-wise, I think it is, uh, quite alright. It looks very, very premium.

There are two colors by was only able to handle one. Uh, I think it's the white version. So this is the one that you're seeing right now on the camera. The good thing about this Hui P 50 pocket is that they did very well to ensure there are no gaps at all between, uh, the top and the bottom display when you shut the device close. So I think that's very cool. All right. So let's just talk a little bit in terms of the specifications. What are you getting here now when you open a device? Uh, what you do get here is a 6.9-inch display. Uh, it is refreshed at 120 huts. So you have the smooth and buttery, uh, kind of feeling whenever you interact with the display. The good news here is that it is a 21 by nine display.

That means that if you have to watch movies on your smartphone, uh, this one will here not have black bars on the top and bottom section. Now, another thing that you should take note of here is that this display is a tool K display. So that means that, uh, the pixel density is approximately 442, which makes it very, very high density. So it's gonna be pixel clear. Everything is gonna be very, very sharp. It's a very good display that you're getting on the Hui P 50 pocket, definitely flagship-level stuff over here. right now allow’s means on and speak a little bit about the cameras on the reverse. So what we do have here is, uh, three triple cameras set up. Uh, you have a 40-megapixel main sensor. You have a 13-megapixel ultra-wide, 120-degree ultra-right sensor. And last but not least, you have a 32-megapixel ultra spectrum camera.

So what this ultra spectrum camera is supposed to do is give you better reproduction of the colors, uh, from the pictures that you take on the Huawei P 50 pocket. Now, innately, I just had limited time with the phone itself. So I did manage to take a couple of photo samples, which I will show on the screen right now. So you can take a quick look, but bear mind. This might be pre-production quality. So it might not be the best. This is just for a very quick reference in terms of the camera capabilities from the Hui P 50 pocket. Now moving on in terms of the, uh, the processor itself. Yes, uh, we do get the snap 8 88. It is very powerful. Everything went very smoothly, obviously since it's a brand new device. But one thing that I do want to point out here is a very interesting display that we have on the flip cover. Now we do have a one-inch display over there, which can do a couple of functions. Whenever you select the other side, you can go through a couple of widgets. So what I noticed is that we have, uh, your music controls, you have the time you have your notifications, you can also access the camera, which I think is very convenient.

If you wanna take a Selfie with the clamshell clothes. So I realized that you can take really good selfies here because you are using the main sensor, the main 40-megapixel sensor to take a selfie of yourself. And the good news here is that because the display, the one-inch round display can show your face, uh, you will be able to take very accurate and nice selfies of yourself with this. I P 50 pocket. Now, last but not least, of course, we also have a 4,000 battery in this very slim device. I think that is great. And it supports 40 what fast charge, which makes it a charge up very quickly. I don't have an actual time from zero to a hundred percent, but with 40 WATS, fast charge, you can expect it to charge up fairly quickly. Now, overall, I think, again, this is just a very quick hands-on with the Huawei P 50 pocket.

I think it's a very cool design. It's always good to see more. Affordable getting into the industry today. And, uh, the best part here is that Huawei is also improving on the design and everything. Just like I mentioned, it a gapless when it's close, very premium built and quality. I love the fact that it has those two circular designs there and it makes use of, uh, that round display shows you some very useful information.

Hey guys, it's arfat. And we are back in the new studio with the first TV unboxing. And I cannot wait because this is something that the studio needed. We needed a new television to brighten up this space. And I could not be more excited because this is one of the new L G Q N E D mini L E D TVs. I did see some early prototypes over the years of mini L E D TVs. And I can't wait because guess what it is here in the studio and we're gonna unbox it and set it up and check it out. And I was kind of just like walking around the box, checking out the specs, seeing what I can see. Look, this is the new magic remote with NFC. Thanks to LG for sponsoring this blog and giving this new TV. It will wonderful new home. I don't think I've even cut the tape. I've just cut the Box.

LG QNED Mini LED TV Unboxing and review

Some assembly looks to be required. just missed trash day. Yeah, I just, um, there that's nice. All right. Little TV. That is not so little welcome to your new home. All right. So it looks like we've made, I may need a small CYT that was life Than I thought.

Well, the legs are on. I think I'm gonna set it up right here on this desk. And this can be kind of like the studio TV. Oh my. I also just realized in the intro that I didn't tell you guys that this is an eight K television. Oh, there's another sticky Satisfying. So we have it all set up. It's plugged in. I can wait to see what this thing looks like. I am interested to see how this NFC remote works. Press the OK. Button wheel is on your remote on 15, 19 20. Whoa, whoa. Oh my Gosh. LGS deep learning technology can enhance image, clarity, and resolution according to whoa. I heard a huge difference. See if you guys can hear a difference. This is without the sound pro turned on.

That's incredible. So I connected my TV to the thin Q app, which connects all of my other LG devices. Like my washer, my dryer, my LG styler, and even my vacuum. So I can get a notification on my TV when my clothes are done in the washer dryer. I know. Pretty awesome. I think now it's finally time to watch something. Whoa, this looks absolutely. Oh my God. Like I've done a lot of video reviews on TVs before, but like actually sitting here and seeing the freaking future.

So this is my first mini-led TV and this type of TV tech just recently started rolling out into the mainstream. We've pretty quickly evolved from CRT to the backlit TV using LC D and all led with self-lighting pixels. The difference with many L E D is that they are about one 40 at the size of a regular L E D. There's also greater control over dimming zones, leading to much deeper blacks and a higher contrast ratio than other types of L E D TVs. It is really difficult to show you how incredible this picture quality is through a YouTube video, but having us be my first experience with a mini L E D TV, I'm blown away.

These colors are so incredibly vibrant. And the thing I love about HDR is it does give you that just impressive color range. Like these blacks that don't even look like the TV is on. Like, you don't even see anything I'm even so close to this TV, but as the detail, everything is so crisp. Like I can watch this TV from here. I mean, you probably shouldn't do that, but I could. One of the things I love about smart TVs is all of the built-in apps. It's cool because this does have an Apple TV built-in. So you can enjoy all of the Apple TV content, there's even LG fitness. And of course, you can install any of your favorite streaming services. Even the remote now has Netflix prime video Disney plus LG channels. It has Alexa and Google built directly into the remote. And I love the new NFC features. So you can share content directly from the remote to your TV. We can also do airplay directly from our phone to the TV. So I'm gonna airplay a piece of content, just a little knife, fight action, no big deal.

I love that. I can just talk to my TV by pressing this little microphone button. I can change settings. I can just the volume and I can even fix a leaky faucet. How do I fix a leaky faucet? Oh yeah. I'm gonna fix that leaky faucet. Maybe even. How do I get rid of ants? Looks like some of these people have even more issues is than I do set the volume to 10%. Pretty cool. Thank you.

I look Up. Thank you and YouTube. That's not, I'm okay. The viewing angle is also pretty impressive. So even if I'm like, kind of right off here to the side, like you're still gonna be getting an incredible view of this TV. Hey Tyler. Okay. The lights are Real quick. this is a cinematic viewing experience. If I've ever had, this is just what the studio needed. The entire design of this TV is beautiful with minimal bezzles and a super slim design with its quantum dot nano cell display full array dimming using the alpha nine gen four-processor eight K.

Realme GT 2 Pro - The Record-Breaking 2022 Flagship⚡️

The fastest-growing smartphone company in history is not apple or Samsung or show me as you might expect. It's a brand called real me. I spent the last few days playing with their record-breaking twenty, twenty-two flagship phones. And I think it's fine. We talk about them. This is the real me GT two pro. I gotta say, these guys do not have the clearest naming convent. There's a real me, eight and X, 50 or C 21. Doesn't sound very real to me. It doesn't make any sense, but what you need to know about the GT two pros, that it's the first time that this company has ever made a top-tier flagship. And it's the fastest Android in the world. By a mile underneath the phone, you also get a pretty decent quality TPE case, a 65 or fast charger, and a USB-C charging cable better than those flagships then.

So this real me company has been more than doubling in size every single year. How on earth do you do that? Here's what I think. I think that the market for affordable smartphones is held back by the market for high-end smartphones because most companies want customers to go and buy their flashy flagships. They have to purposefully make their lower-end phones, less attractive, less good-looking. And also usually not as cheap as they would otherwise be. But RMI hasn't been burdened by that because they so far, haven't made a flagship phone. They've not been trying to upsell people towards anything. And so with every single device, their only objective has been, how do we make this the most unique and valuable camera device possible? Some have had racing stripes, others, bold colors, quite a few have just had this massive dare to leap model plastered over them.

It looks kind of like one of those drunken tattoos that you regret the next day. Not all of their designs are winners for sure, but they're consistently packed with really strong hardware for the money and that doesn't change here. The roomy GT two pro is less than the flagship price. I've been told around 700 to $750, but at the same time, they've managed to break three major world records with it. It has the largest internal cooling system. It has the widest-ever Ultrawide camera, and it doesn't just use the same top-end snapdragon 8 88 chipsets as every other current flagship. This is the first phone to ship with the next generation of that. The snapdragon eight gen one. But the very first thing you'll notice is not those things. It's the design. This is classic real me. It borrows elements from other oppo and OnePlus devices.

Cuz if you did a real me belongs to the same parent company, but it adds that wacky gen Z flare that they're developing a bit of a reputation for it's pretty tastefully done here. The flourishes of Chrome dotted around the body, the ultra-fine texture on the power button, the contrast of matt and glossy on the back, the papery textured wallpapers, it's almost uncharacteristically classy. I would Def have scrubbed this signature from the back to me. It just looks like they've written the word. No, but you only get that on the special edition variants and oh, I've even mentioned the most interesting part of this, the material. So you know how smartphones are going through a bit of, an eco revolution right now with their recycled packaging and nothing included in the box? Well, this is real me's way of doing it. The back of this phone is made of a biopolymer, which is derived in part from recycled paper and therefore uses 35% less CO2 to make.

And on one hand, it is a bit stray range. Like when you think of a flagship phone, you don't think of recycled bottle caps melted together with paper mache, but in execution, it just reminds me of leather. It's got that same plushness, but also that slightly cos texture for trippiness. And so when you combine this back, cuz I am a fan of leather phones with this seriously alluring screen on the front, this to feel like one of the most complete hardware packages that money can buy. Like when you look at this form factor, it looks high-end. Yes, but it doesn't immediately strike you as one of those nothing missing feature crammed ultra phones. Right? Well, as far as the screen's concerned, kind of is every corner that I kind of assumed they would cut. They didn't it's super ADE for deep contrast, it supports true 10-bit color to be able to display even more of a range it's quad HD plus resolution for more pixels than you'll ever need.

One 20 hu refresh rate for fluidity with I think the highest ever recorded level of touch responsiveness all top off with LTPO 2.0 technology, which allows a refresh rate to scale down to one Hertz when it can get away with it to save up to 50% battery consumption. Plus also it's just a nice clean, flat-screen with no weird jutting corners. I mean, I don't personally mind curve screens, but the point is you'll struggle to find something to complain about here. This is the internet, but okay. Let's address the elephant in the room. This is the first phone with next-generation processing power. How fast is it kind of amazing kind of underwhelming then Hey, if you're enjoying this blog, then a sub to the Website would be real?

The good let's be very, this is powerful. This is the most powerful smartphone I've ever held or even looked at. If you wanna put a number on it while Samsung's S 21 ultra scores around 700,000 points on MTU, two benchmarks, this passes a million. I nearly fell out of my seat. I still remember the day where all I wanted in life was to get my phone to 10,000 points. And here am holding something that passes a million. I've been getting consistently higher wifi speeds than on my S 21 ultra wherever I'm testing from. And also it blitzes through games with seemingly less of a performance hit from sustained play sessions. And while the metal rim around the outside does get toasty doing so. The actual core CPU temperatures are at a healthy level throughout, but there is, a counterpoint to us. And it's partly the fact that, well, I mean Android games and Android apps, they aren't getting more demanding, and last generation's chips had already run them well.

But it's also partly the fact that this doesn't feel like the most polished optimized software experience. I get the impression that the only reason this is the first phone to have the next chip is just that real me spent less time working with the chip. I've had a couple of cases where my widgets haven't been updating. I've noticed that the charging animation just kind of disappears when you swipe up, looks a bit UNFI, a few of the menus and core apps don't support the phone one 20 Hertz refresh rate. And so feel jittery as you move between them and also something that cheapens the experience. You will find subtle adverts within the user interface. It's not a bad experience by any means. For the most part, this real UI three based on Android, 12 is quite an interactive, tactile experience. It's filled with settings that you never even thought to ask for.

And it's baked in apps like whether rather premium, I was slightly concerned that RMI was gonna continue its rather weak trend of one year of major software updates here. But for their flagship, they're committing to three, which is fine. I would just refrain from thinking of this as some sort of formative experience just because they have the new chip doesn't mean they're squeezing every last bit of utility out of it. And that brings me onto the cameras. Cuz the performance of phone cameras is more and more being governed by processing power. This snap drug eight gen one for example should technically enable next-generation dynamic range in photos. But you in actuality again, I assume because of a lack of time spent optimizing this is pretty standard flagship performance. It does keep up with last year's top-end phones in most situations but falls behind a little when it comes to low light, oh also doesn't have a zoom lens.

However, this is a ridiculously fun camera to use. There are so many options. I don't even know where to start and I love it. You've got your standard things like night mode, portrait mode, expert mode, et cetera, but also movie mode, which shoots in a cinematic ratio, street photography, which gives you more data like exactly how far away your subject is dual view video, which records two separate streams at once microscope mode, which uses this little third cap and the not one but two separate flash modules to get 40 times closer to subjects. Very cool, but also kind of irritating that there's only two megapixels ID mode, which turns a selfie into an actual usable passport photo story mode, which highlights stars in the sky 3d mode, which identifies faces and separates them from the background. And of course this 150-degree ultra-wide mode.

It's a bit odd in that the normal ultra-wide camera on this phone is well. I mean it's just normal. It's only when you go to more options and then specifically select one 50 degrees that it gets crazy. But to be fair to them, even though it is kind of a hack they've turned off distortion correction to achieve this wide-angle when using it, it is genuinely astonishingly white. Okay. Just around this phone off, it also has a 5,000 million power battery Doby out more stereo speakers, eight to 12 gigs of fast Ram and 1 28 gigs to one terabyte to fast storage. But on the downside, no IP rating, no SD cards are bought, and also no headphones. So on balance, it's rather good. Like assuming that the price does end up at around $750 like they've told me and assuming that follows through with their promised three years of updates, this is a plus, okay.

What's up. I'm arfat here, new intro and new phone. This is the Samsung Galaxy S 21 fan edition, even though now it's 2022 and we're probably like a month away from the new Galaxy S 22, but we have a new S 21. Huh? So I've had my hands on this phone for a couple days now since last year. Uh, but I feel like this is a super safe bet of a phone. It's very tame doesn't make any mistakes, maybe even a little bit boring, but this is something a lot of people are gonna like. So this is the second fan edition now that we've seen. So we're kind of learning the formula of how Samsung likes to do this. And basically, it's kind of the same way Apple's been doing these and a lot of other fun manufacturers do this, but it's a lot of one-year-old parts that get put back together and in a cheaper phone.

And this is a nice green it's flat for one. I like that. It has thin even bezzles with a slightly thicker chin. And then it has a fingerprint reader down low here at the bottom, underneath the display, plus a selfie camera cutout at the top middle for the 32-megapixel selfie camera. I think this is a win for Samsung the display company. They're just still so good at screens that this is right up among the best brightest ones you'll find in phones in this class. It has a 240 Hertz touch sample rate. It's super responsive. I mean, yeah, this, this screen is the flagship for sure. And the design is just super safe. It looks just like the regular S 21, but this is a new matte, dark gray with the camera module. Again, push right up to the corner and curve over the side of the phone. And the biggest repeated part of that formula is the price. So they're launching with this phone at six ninety-nine. Now the S 20 fan edition secured my F phone of the year award back in 2020, won a trophy and everything for launching at that price, and standing out. But now, well, the landscape has changed a lot since then. There's a lot more competition at this medium flagship tier price. And so this phone isn't as much of a standout win as it was over a year ago. O I think you'll see what I mean. So inside it's the high-end stuff, not over the top bleeding edge, but right at the flagship level snap and triple eight and either six or eight gigs of Ram, a 40 500 million power battery triple cameras and upfront featured is a 6.4 inch 10 80 P 120 Hertz ammo lead display.

It's got IP 68 water resistance, 15 wat wireless charging. It's got reverse wireless charging, all pretty much flagship stuff. But from this exact moment on, you can see the fan edition formula kick in here where they start to cut a few corners and drop a few things down to save that price. And so the real question will be, do you care about those sort of minor tweaks? So with the design and you might have been able to see this already, it's a plastic back, and also they didn't quite fully commit to Matt black. So it's like, it's this dark gray that unfortunately picks up a bit more fingerprints than I would like. And there are also these metal rails all the way around, which are more durable and less likely to crack when you drop them. And it explains these little cutouts on either side for your antenna to pass through for millimeter-wave.

Now the regular S 21 was also plastic with my metal rails, but the fan edition cuts that back even a little bit further where the camera cutout isn't a part of the rail anymore. So there's a seam between that. So you can see here on the regular S 21 metal rail includes the camera bump here on this new fan edition. That's an all-plastic back. So I still like the camera bump design. Uh, this is a problem. Be the least impressive version of it. You might not even notice any of this stuff if you put the phone in a case, but that is a real difference. And then there are even smaller things like this phone is even though it has a larger battery than the S 21 it's super light. And I think that was, you know, I first took it out the box and it felt kind of like one of those fake dummy phones where it's really big but doesn't have much weight, but yeah, it's probably just cuz I'm coming from phones that have more metal and glass.

Also the fingerprint reader underneath the display it's right around the same spot as a regular S 21, pretty low on the display here. But it's an optical fingerprint reader instead of the ultrasonic ones on the rest of the S 21 line. So you can see it's shining the light on your finger before unlocking. Now, again, this is minor and this one still does seem to be pretty quick. I registered both my thumbs. It's still faster than the pixel six is optical fingerprint reader, but it might not work with some moisture on my hand or some wear and tear on the screen as well as the ultrasonic ones. And Samsung's more expensive fonts. There's a single speaker at the bottom, which is part of a stereo system with the ear P speaker. But it's still pretty easy to block this one. And you'll notice when it's blocked, even though the earpiece is still put in that sound and the haptics is overall a small step down from the other flagships, the S 21 S the pixels, even the one plus nine pros of the world, not quite as tight and precise.

And then the triple cameras back here, you got one 12 megapixel primary, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and an eight-megapixel three times telephoto. And they're very solid. You've got OIS on that main camera. It puts out sharp images with a shallow depth of the field. Great dependable shots in good light as you'd expect sometimes a bit noisy or blurry in low light, but seriously not bad. I'd give this easily a B plus camera hanging with a lot of flagships, but not beating any. And then maybe most importantly is the fact that this S 21 series will be outdated or old. The second the S 22 series comes out, which is right around the corner. And they typically also drop the prices of the S 21 series. When the S 22 series comes out also on a sustainability note, there was no charger in the box.

It's that small box again, that just comes with the phone, a cable and some paperwork. So I guess that's even more flagship experience stuff if you wanna look at it that way, but certainly nothing better. So the real question with the fan edition again does any of these little shortcomings take away from the flagship experience that it's getting you do they matter to you like the little extra bit of plastic on the back, doesn't make a big difference. Not really. Does the optical fingerprint reader on the front versus ultrasonic mean anything? Most people no. Does the eight-megapixel telephoto camera on the back versus the previous 64 megapixels with a bigger max zoom matter nine out 10 people probably won't notice. And so honestly this would all be fine with me on this phone. If the S 21, wasn't just sitting at 6 99 for most of the past few months, and right now refurbish ones are going for 5 99 on Amazon.

So that's the crazy part of this phone's existence. Now in 2022, it's like the S 21 fan edition was lighting the market on fire with basically giving us all this flagship stuff for like $300, less than expected. But now in this new landscape, you've gotta fit. Some were between pixel six, which is an incredibly good value at 5 99 with an arguably better camera and software experience. And then the higher-up phones, some of which are even in Samsung's lineup. So the fact that this Fe is so similar to the S 21, but is launching so close to the S 22, that's the swing and a miss. I think this phone would've killed at like 5 49 or even 5 99 or something like that, but it didn't this launch price and timing is what sort of just blends it in with the rest of the market.

And I've talked, this has happened to Samsung before the, uh, note 20, you might remember was the recipient of the bust of the year T because it was just a phone. That was, it was fine, but it just priced itself out of where it was supposed to land in the market. And it was not a bad phone at all. This is not a bad phone at all. And I think lots of people who buy it with the blinders on, like, they're gonna really like this phone, but if you take your, uh, take your blinders off, there's a lot more around in this landscape around this price, which is a much more interesting decision. So great performance, familiar software, really nice cameras, a battery upgrade. And of course, Samsung's awesome display. This is a great phone, but you know, at this price, people are gonna be cross-shopping.

A really good dude. Um, you know, being one of my best friends for years and you know, he's just, he's had it rough, um, for like the last couple years and just kind of, you know, he'll, he'll do well and then he'll hit a rough pack and then he'll go well, and then like something else in life comes up and it's kind of forced and where it's like, okay, I wanna get new tech, but then like this emergency keeps coming up. And so it makes it super hard for him to like, you know, up for need to set up

man, well, that's what we're here to do, right? We're gonna, we're gonna lift each other. So hopefully this can make, a small bit of impact for him. Now as a Mac user, a few things that stood out to me were the build quality, the trackpad, which was nice. This is packed full of power, but at, as a creator, the display is stellar. It packs a 16 by 10 aspect ratio. It's a hundred percent P three and it is color calibrated out of the box. So with Chris's friend, John being into photography and photo editing, this was a crucial part of the process on top of the display being fantastic for creation and photo and video editing. You have 120 Hertz refresh rate. It's a touchscreen. You got port for days cooling for days. And the best part is this thing weighs five pounds.

So even though you're packing that much power inside, it's not gonna be this brick tank that you gotta lug around. Another cool detail. Here is the inclusion of a mini L E D backlit keyboard MSI worked in conjunction with a steel series on this one. And the result is granular control. You have over color and light. The goal for MSI on this machine was to blend tech with power and ultimately sandwich as much power as they possibly could. Inside. The tricky part with this surprise is I wanted to be completely random out of the blue, so it could not come from me. So after talking with Chris, the plan was we would send the package from Chris to John and he told him there were some prints that he was looking to get feedback on.

I told him a card was coming. Maybe I could just say, Hey, there's something else that card, or sure. Something like that. It's a, it's a fairly big box. So what could, what could you possibly say you're sending, are there any projects or anything that, you know, is there a world where you are working on something that you would like his feedback on? Or Maybe like a print or like some artwork I've been shooting all year and just alike, Hey dude, I just wanna like send you this like print, you know? Okay. Wireless 8K Video Streaming with TP-Link AX55

So TP-link sent over one of their new routers. This one is wifi, six capable. I like fast internet. So do you, they claim on this box that this thing's gonna be capable of streaming eight K video. And we're one of the few places. Maybe some people have the capability these days, but we have an eight K TV over there and we haven't used it all that much to watch eight K content there. Isn't a lot of eight K content out there as it stands right now. But as a sort of test to see the capabilities of this thing, what we're gonna do is hook it up and then try to play, playback some wirelessly dreaming eight K content on YouTube on the eight K TV. That's the challenge with this particular device. That's what we're gonna do today.

Wireless 8K Video Streaming with TP-Link AX55

We're gonna feast our eyes on all those pixels. So this is the ax 3000 it's wifi, six capable. As I mentioned, faster, broader, unstoppable dual-band gigabit at wifi six router home shield built in there for extra security. They claim up to 3000 megabits per second. There are four antennas inside. It has a USB three port for, uh, network sharing of your files and such. What else does it say here? Yes. Eight K capable wifi, six enjoy full access to AK streaming on a five gigahertz band. Allow more applications to run at the same time as DM transmits data to multiple devices simultaneously across four streams, drastically reducing latency. It's also backward compatible with old wifi standards. So your old devices are gonna be capable of connecting things. It'll send out two separate SSIDs. So you're gonna have 2.4 gigahertz and five gigahertz, both supported, which is a problem we ran into here recently with, uh, strictly having the autoselect, uh, some of our wireless equipment audio equipment was working better on 2.4. And so we had to set up a guest network and anyway, that's built-in there supports one mesh to form a whole-home coverage. So you can extend this into a mesh system. I suppose, if you choose to, which is a nice little feature, especially for bigger spaces like this one. Oh,

Home shield I mentioned earlier security service. Keep your home network safe, cutting edge features. Yeah. Okay. So it's got some security built-in cool, 130 bucks. So the cost of wifi, six equipment, certainly, uh, becoming more affordable. Everything you need to get started in the box. You have your ethernet cable in there. You're also gonna get the unit and you're going to get the power supply to power it all up. You can see we have four separate antennas on this device. Very actually surprisingly low profile little unit, a bunch of LEDs on the front, which is something you'd expect to see, uh, on a networking device on the back. You're still pulling in from the web. But look at this, uh, we're talking about eight K streaming, eight K 60 frames, and without a buffer, without a lag, and just, I mean, take a look. Canon EOS R - Good for YouTube?

This is the cannon EOS R mirrorless camera. This was Cannon's first mirrorless camera and this new line of mirrorless cameras and RF lenses completely changed the game for cannon when it comes to video. And I'm excited about testing out the EEO R because I own the EEO R five. I picked that up recently. I've been traveling with it, been loving it, enjoying it, bought a ton of lenses. And for me, it has a lot of like the crazy specs 4k shoots, an eight K, that's good for what we do here on YouTube. But now I want, think about like, just the average person who wants to go out, maybe grab a canon camera because they, you know, love cannon or they love Cannon's colors.

Whatever the reason may be, they want cannon, how does this thing work when it comes to video? So I'm excited to see how this thing performs at its price point, which you can get for even less. Now, if you head on over to the can USA website, you can instantly save 200 bucks on this guy. So now's a pretty good time to go and grab this. If you've been looking into it and don't worry, I'll have my link down below in your description for you guys to check it out. Uh, but now let's talk about how this thing performs what you get when you pick one of these up. So this is like I said, a mirrorless camera. One of the benefits of a mirrorless camera is you get all those nice, great specs, but it comes in a smaller footprint. This is a 30.3-megapixel camera capable of shooting 4k of course, full HD, 4k, 30 frames per, and though that's what we wanna take a look at now, having a small body for creators like myself is usually really important because you want to be able to go around with your camera, not have it weigh you down, and this definitely will not.

So of course, we've got the nice compact body you've got that screen that tilts out. You can pretty much put it in any orientation that you might want something that we've seen on cannon forever. So I'm glad to see it here. And this is great, especially if you know, you try to do the whole V blogging thing. Would you vlog with this camera? Of course, but no, this screen is perfect for just being able to go around, capture yourself, doing things. Then whenever you flip and try to get something else, you can always keep an eye on what your subject is and what you're capturing. So this right here creates a world that is a must-have, and we're not gonna get super technical and do a deep dive of all like the buttons and whatnot, but something that I like that they have here with the EO R is this bar right here.

It's a touch-sensitive bar that you can assign different settings. So if you want to change your white balance or your ISO, whatever it may be, you can just press this or swipe. So you can very quickly on the fly, just make adjustment changes that you need to. So this is a very, very nice ISO control here is huge for me because that's probably one of the settings I change the most. If I'm on the go, especially because lighting conditions just change depending on where you currently are. So that is a nice little feature to have. And for the most part, the body is what you would expect. This is like a compact DSLR. You even have a nice little screen up top so that you can see a certain setting. If you're in the dark, you want access to quick information, but maybe not look at the screen per se.

You can always look at it from up top. You got that there, you've got a single memory card. The thing takes an SD card. So you can just pop one in here. And you're pretty much good to go. So very simple, but let's talk about how this thing performs and captures some content. So I've taken this camera out for a variety of shoots and you guys know, we tend to do a lot of product shots here on the channel. So our main use cases are suited for a more commercial style of shooting. And the video here is crisp colors look good and something I'm pretty happy about. It's how it handles skin tones. We focus a lot on products, but I'm also on the camera a lot. So making sure myself and anyone else who's in the shot is represented well right off the bat is important.

Canon is known for handling skin tones. Well, and you guys can see that here for yourself. Now, if you're interested in picking up this camera with video in mind, there are a multitude of RF lens is available for you to choose from. I've primarily been using the RF 24 to 1 0 5 F four L lens, which covers a huge range and gives a ton of flexibility. If I want to have a wide or tight close-up shot, it has image stabilization built-in as well, which is extremely important. If you plan on doing anything handheld, but you can always switch it up with other lenses. If you want to get even wider, get super close-up macro shots. There are tons of options to choose from. Even though these lines of lenses are relatively new, I'm big on zoom lenses. And with the ones that I picked up, I feel like I'm pretty much covered for everything I could need, but I do a lot of videos.

So having this kind of arsenal makes sense. But if you're just getting with, I'm telling you the RF 24 to 1 0 5 will cover a lot of ground, needless to say, this camera has been dope and I can easily take the footage that I've been shooting right from here and use it on a professional level. Not to mention most of the B-roll that you guys have been seeing this come from the E OSR. I'm telling you guys it's pretty impressive stuff. All right, guys. So we're inside. And we wanted to just take a quick look at some of the shots that we just went out to get and see how they look right off the camera. And I gotta say, you guys, this is impressive stuff. Now, one thing about Canon cameras is that they have real, really, really good color science. Basically what that means are the colors that you get right off of the camera without doing any edits at all look really good.

And they have like this characteristic that I think a lot of people enjoy. And I'm just taking a look at some of this footage. And if you're not someone who really knows how to edit videos and you just want a nice starting place, this thing can deliver. And that's always been the case with Canon cameras. Uh, I remember when I first started YouTube, I didn't know what color grading was. I didn't, I wasn't good at editing. And a lot of times people thought I was color grading my stuff because it looked good, but it was coming right off of my Canon camera without me even knowing what color grading was. So shout out to cannon for the extra help there. But that still seems to rain truly today. Uh, just looking at some of this stuff I would, of course, make some tweaks with where I am now in terms of video editing.

And this is what the RF 24 to 1 0 5 looks super sharp. What would I even do to mess with this bump? The saturation justice smidge. I mean, did I, did I do much? Let's see. Okay. I see a slight bump. I didn't have to do this though. That's saying a lot because I always have tons of little tweaks that I want to do to make sure I get the image in a place where I like it. And this one, I, I barely did anything and it looks super good, Jay, wouldn't you say we would use this on the channel with what we're seeing right here. I would say

Before you did anything we can.

Exactly. So if that's where you are, maybe you are in the beginning stages of video editing. You want that really good starting place. This is, not a bad place to start at all. So I mean, this is great in terms of video. And of course, you know, it doesn't just stop at the body. You have all these different lenses that you can take advantage of. There are just tons and tons of things that you can pull off with a camera like that, which makes it versatile and a really good starting point, especially when you consider the price 1600 bucks. That's solid. I'd say that's an easy recommendation. If you're trying to get into video, the can EOS is, are such a good option, but yeah, guys, I think it's safe to say after spending some time with this camera, I took it on my trip to Hawaii.

This is NOT going Well… Linux Gaming Challenge Pt.2

That is what I would say. If I lived with Linus Wallace, the third over here in fantasy land, where any of that was true so far, the one-month Lennox gaming challenge has been as advertised a challenge. And in part two, Luke and I are going to be taking it to the next level by not just gaming on Linux, but by recording and streaming our gameplay to viewers on Twitch. Now I'd be lying. If I said I'm not expecting some speed bumps like this small one here to tell you about our sponsor.

With our desktop environment set up, Luke and I have a deceptively short pre-flight checklist of tasks to complete, to be streaming ready. We'll need comms to chat and collaborate with our fellow creators and software. That's capable of capturing our gameplay audio and face cams. And obviously, we'll need the affirmation to audio interfaces and cameras. Both. We both use El Gato key lights, which we've always controlled using windows software. So we'll both need to find a workaround for that.

We'll be awarded for having an ugly or bad-sounding stream. It's got to look every bit as legit from a viewer's perspective as it did on Immediately. I started overthinking things. Sometimes that's the problem with knowing just enough to be dangerous. I tried to apt-get OBS the industry standard for desktop capture and streaming in the terminal only to discover that men Jaro the Linux distribution that I'm using. Doesn't come with an apt because the apt is for managing packages on Devean and related OSS. Oops, making life more difficult, the message that comes up when you try to execute the command, doesn't say, Hey, you should probably be using Pac-Man yet dumps. It tries to install some kind of dependency for apt. Then just quietly fails and prompts you to do the same thing again, when you try to use its infinite loop, baby. Speaking of which I had a panic moment when I checked OBS compatibility and found out that it is unsupported in art by the way, and its derivatives. But the good news is that upon launch, I was immediately relieved to find that it works exactly as expected with some exceptions.

For example, the end vanc new and coder doesn't show up as an option, which appears to be down to NVIDIA's poop, drivers on Linux side note here, I always kind of assumed that the Linux community was grossing about Nvidia, primarily for their locks down proprietary approach to things and that it had less to do with the actual quality of the product. Now, I properly understand that it is both as mentioned core product functionality from like a couple of years ago is missing the control panel looks like it's from 10 years ago and the interface is kind of confusing. Thankfully, I was able to enable G sync on my display, but for whatever reason, you allow it to turn it on, which you then verify in a completely different tab. And this kind of confusion is not a deal-breaker. It's just obvious that the Linux software has never gotten the kind of TLC from the UX team that the windows software does

For me, acquiring OBS was no problem. I just got it from the package manager and it was all okay. Once installed though, we noticed something window capture on Linux can be a little problematic. We couldn't seem to get it working at all at the start. I had an option for it, but it didn't work. And Linus didn't even have that. But a few days later I tried it again for a different project and it worked just fine. I checked in with Linus and he did too. Neither of us knows what might've fixed it, but that's cool. I guess,

Yes. The bigger issue for me ended up being the software that just doesn't exist. There are third-party tools. For example, that allow key remapping keyboarding master is evidently a popular one, but if your peripherals have a manufacturer-provided tool that is used to reconfigure RGB lighting or the liftoff distance of your mouse, or the sensitivity steps of your DPI button, then get ready to install windows in a virtual machine, pass those devices through, configure them, and then hand them back over to Linux. It's extremely tedious and doesn't even remotely restore full functionality. For example, don't expect to get a low battery warning for your G pro wireless mouse, and it's even worse for my audio interface. The go XLR has a handful of unique features, including decent preamps reprogrammable screen labels, a built-in soundboard function, and the infamous beep button that I am so fond of using during my live streams about the kind of bullets that Nvidia puts them through.

All I have to do is follow these simple instructions to download a random script off, get the hub and run it with no indication given whatsoever for how exactly to run a script. Even the process of downloading it was unintuitive. And I know get hub is for developers and not for end-users, but it's really hard to hide behind that shield when it took me less than two days to run into a situation where I had to use it. I mean, at that point, if get hub is only for developers, then desktop Linux is only for developers. You can't have it both ways. Unlike on LTT store, where you can find great merchant fair prices.

I'm grateful for that, but I'm frustrated by the condescending tone. I mean, my assumption that a file with a.sh extension would behave as I would expect it to and launching some kind of script running application doesn't seem that unreasonable newsflash random contributor, you can also change a file extension in windows and it will attempt to launch in the default program for that file type. It serves the same fundamental purpose hinting at the contents of the file. The only difference is that these hints for the user are also used as hints for the operating system. It's a lot more convenient than digging into the properties of the file to find out what it does.

Anyway, pompous tone aside that contributor did help me figure out my get hub download. So it turns out that right-click save target gets you an HTML file in. sh clothing because I don't know some borderline arbitrary reason probably. And to get it to be actual.sh file, I had to copy it into a text editor, Kate, and then save that as a script and execute it in the terminal. It spat a bunch of errors. And as I expected, most of the buttons don't work, but all of the inputs and outputs that I had already configured in windows did show up in my fader's work. I even have my button until my go XLR loses power for any reason, at which point I will have to pass it through to windows, reconfigure it in windows, and then pass it back over to Linux without losing power, compared to that, all the other stuff is minor.

The most notable issue I had was that my audio devices were just kind of screwy in ops. My voice came across a very unnaturally deep, and it sounded like my mic input have been duplicated. My voice just feels deeper. Now. I don't know if I've got some lodged or what. And Chad was pretty convinced that I had set something up incorrectly. And if I was a viewer of my stream, I probably would have said the same thing, but I've been using OBS for like six or seven years now. So I had my doubts. I even streamed my OBS settings panel to prove it but eventually felt out of options. I just restarted OBS and yeah, that solved pretty much everything, which was kind of frustrating because I've heard time and time again that you don't have to turn things off and on again to get them working in Linux. But Hey, maybe that's just cause I'm not great at Linux yet. Perhaps there’s a commodity differently I could have done. Not sure on the good side of things though. My mixer has worked flawlessly from the start, but it is pretty simple. As far as mixers go. I didn't have to change any settings. I didn't have to install anything for it. I just set it as my default input device and was good to go.

Once I got Tom Mack figured out getting comms going was surprisingly simple. The pack is a program with a graphical interface that functions similarly to the Pac-Man package manager that you operate in the terminal. At least it does. Once you find the hidden button in a panic to search snap flat pack and art's user repository entries, it's basically like the pop shop from Populus, except it didn't try to break my system. The first time I used it, the only really difficult thing was choosing the right package to install for discord there's regular discord. And then there's Canary discord, whatever that is. I chose the most official-looking package and I was up and running almost immediately. Once I found the super convenient per-application volume mixer in the bottom right corner, the interface is kind of kludgy like scrolling with your mouse wheel scrolls through both the audio devices and the levels of the individual devices, which is not great. But other than that, it works well. And my first voice call to Luke went completely without a hitch, or it would have if I'd known that it was starting. Unfortunately, I still have not figured out how to get desktop notifications working. I found a guide, but the instructions fell apart almost immediately. When my discord package didn't show up in the list where it's supposed to be for me to fix it. I suppose that’s presumably a design for another day.

Discord was an easy install for me. Again, it was just automatically available in the package manager. That being said there were certain missing features. Screen-sharing across slack teams and discord are kind of sketchy at best. They feel less stable or they're even missing some features here or there. Outside of that, there's even really simple stuff missing now and then, like if I download a file in slack and then try to click the open containing folder button, just nothing happens. And speaking of missing features, I use the phone app for the El Gato control center, just like Linus did. I had found another solution through a script on getting hub, but I thought that way would potentially be problematic in the long term. So I just avoided it, unfortunately for my carer. However, Canon EOS utilities don't work on Linux. I'd been using that software on windows for quite a while now to get a live feed from my Canon 70 D over USB to my computer, it was flawless and didn't require a capture card. I do have an Avio 4k capture card, which does work on Linux, but I don't have the micro HD, my cable that it would need to connect to my camera. I could pick one up, but just for this challenge, I decided to go with my old Logitech C nine 20, which while it doesn't remotely look as good, works just fine. And when you make the window for it small, no one can tell.

I think overall the easiest part for me was getting my cabling 4k up and running. It was garbled when I selected one of the duplicate sources in OBS, but immediately after trying the second Glenn, it cleared up and has been picture perfect ever since. So it works, but there's a much larger upfront investment in getting it working. The question is just whether it feels worth it

And it worked if you connect it to the stream after we were done about 15 minutes of troubleshooting while we were just in the thick of trying not to starve, I'm sure any random viewer wouldn't have been able to tell a difference between one of my old windows streams and this one audio was good. The capture was good. That's where the good ends. However, everything I used past this point was a lesser experience compared to its Windows counterpart. Almost everything was missing at least one feature. And some I'd say most notably OBS and teams were just buggies requiring restarts for simple settings to apply and had other various problems. It wasn't impossible and it was easier than I expected, but due to various bugs, missing features, and incompatible software, it wasn't as simple or clean as doing it on windows. I wouldn't say that was enough for it to be a deal-breaker

For me. The bottom line is what you're looking to get out of it. If your daily driving Linux for game streaming out of a genuine passion for learning more about it, then have at it, have fun, but just know what you're getting into PC gaming already requires a certain amount of tinkering. I mean, there's a reason that more people game on consoles, you know, whether it's trying to track down, save files in some Vista era folder, or forcing an aspect ratio in an INI file, but a Linux gaming PC, it requires all of that crap. And then another mountain of crap on top of it. Like when something doesn't work, you can tell yourself, you know, well, I never wanted to use that functionality or I never wanted to play that game anyway, but honestly, it just comes across as sour grapes. It is not that easy to use.

Every Console in one Gaming Desk Setup!

So you can learn more today. We've got a very special video. I've got this cool desk set up that I've been working on for a few months now. And I wanted something really clean and I knew Microcenter would be the spot to go and get everything that I needed to make that thing come alive. Now, if you guys don't already know Microsoft, his website has a custom PC builder that you can throw all the parts inside of and then have a micro center, build it for you and you just go pick it up. So that's what I went and did. I'm going to go get my PC now and get this desk set up, put together. All right guys. So we've got our PC it's time to get started. So here it is guys. This is the beast that I picked up over at micro center is built in this thermal tape, mid-tower case, which I'll of course have linked down below in the description, as well as all of the other cool stuff that I mentioned that you can find at micro center.

Now we won't run through all of the components in this PC, but I'll throw up a list of that. You guys can see it here and you guys can see it from the spec list. This machine is an absolute beast and gaming on it has been crazy fun. I'm kind of killing it when I'm playing on this thing. Uh, so if you guys want to learn how to build up your PC, definitely check out the PC builder. Micro center has tons and tons of great options. Whether you want to build a PC yourself or have them do it. So we went with this, a Seuss Rogg crosshair, eight dark hero motherboard. And this is perfect for a new PC build. Since it's one of the few motherboards out right now that explicitly mentioned that it's windows 11, ready? Now, this guy is also packing in the AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X processor. And of course, you know, we had to put a decent graphics card inside of here. So we're rocking with an ASIS Rogg Strix 30 ADTI. So we've got more than enough power to get all the kind of gaming that we want to do as well as creative stuff if we want to. But I know you guys want to see the desk set up, so let's get started, but all right, guys, here it is. This is the setup that I've been working on for the last few weeks.

Right, guys, check it out. This is like our chill, very calm vibe. That's set up. Now. This one, I had some big ideas for, I wanted it to be a really clean setup, but it can be used for just about anything. So we've got, of course, the behemoth, this gaming PC that we've got set up over here. You talked about this already and everything that it's got inside of it, but we've also got underneath PlayStation five X-Box one S as well as an intended switch, hidden in the back. So the whole idea is to not have them in the way, makes it easy to run the cables back there as well, and everything I need to access them right here. So we pretty much got all of the gaming consoles here, including the PC. So however you want to gain this setup is going to allow you to do that.

Now, first of all, the desk that we're using right here is from artifacts. They offer a few variations of these desks in different finishes, different colors, but they also have accessories. If you want to have a nice clean, organized space. And I knew whatever I would bring to this setup had to look super clean. One thing you'll notice is no RGB lights over here. We just wanted it to be nice, I know, right? We know light strips. We've got a little RGB on the mouse and keyboard, but I feel like we could get away with that. That's fine. Right, Jay. But honestly, this desk has been huge, uh, because it offers quite a bit more than you would expect. So we've got little studs here for things like our gaming headsets in the back, we've got tons of cable management. It's like a nice sheet of metal with holes so that you can run your cables through it and even have a strap to it.

It helps us to achieve a nice look, even though you guys can see, we've got all kinds of tech over here, uh, but cables are not running rampant. Uh, and let me tell you guys, it took some time to make it happen. Okay. It was not easy. We've got some additional pieces like this guy right here. This can be removed. If you want to have a nice monitor, sit on top of here. You can do that. We've also got nice trays and like books that they make so that if you know, you want to sit down and jot down some notes, maybe you want to use this for not a super tech out area. They've got some cool stuff so that you can just have a beautiful setup. But this artifacts desk is really what drove the whole idea for the setup to something nice and clean while still being able to do anything that you wanted it all of course have them linked down below as well as everything that you can pick up from the micro center in the description.

Now, the monitor that I went with is from the LG ultra gear line. If you didn't know, LG has an ultra gear line, which is geared towards gamers. It pretty much has everything you would want in a gaming monitor. 144 Hertz, one millisecond response time. It's a nice large display at 34 inches. So if you're looking for like an ultra monitor, uh, this thing has pretty much everything you'd want. And some Archie BJ, we forgot about, we forgot about this one. There's some RGB back here too. It's very subtle, but it's in the back. Uh, when all the lights are off, you know, you get like a faint little glow, but you get your Invidia G sync, all that good stuff. So if you want to game on here, which we do, we'll be able to do that with no problem. Now, gaming here is the whole point of the setup, and it's very clear, uh, based on the mouse keyboard and all the controllers that we've got over here.

So check this out. You guys, first of all, we got to talk about the stand that the controllers are sitting on. So this is custom-made by the folks over at deep-made designs. Guys, this is amazing. We've got the X-Box elite two-controller in the middle PlayStation five controller and an intended switch pro controller. And you can probably find these controls over at the micro center. They have an insane section of controllers with tons of different ones for all kinds of systems. So you guys are gonna want to check that out and look, you can just take all of these off and you guys can see bees are crafted to hold all the controllers in place very well, all same level. It's amazing stuff. And the wood that they use. Look at this detail, look it over here, guys. This thing is translucent.

It's amazing. I never thought I'd freak out over some wood, but this thing is sick. One thing that's awesome to note is that all of the accessories that you would get inside of the elite, two controller packaging, they're all sitting right here, just like they would inside of the case. Even the wireless charger, which functions that is super cool. One of the biggest centerpieces to this whole setup, I have them linked down below in the description as well. They are worth checking out. And you guys might've noticed, we went with like an all-black vibe over here since this is like what we're doing. We're doing the wood and black. Uh, so we got a black PlayStation, five controllers, elite, two controllers, always black. And we got this Nintendo switch pro controller. That's from like, this is the monster hunter rise edition.

So, it had a little bit of gold on it. It's like, all right, if it's, it looks good here. Why not now for the mouse and keyboard that we're using for our PC over here, we've got the HyperX alloy origins. This is with the blue switches. So it's nice and clicky. I like having clicky keys so it can feel like I'm pressing something. I know some people like Radware, so it's super smooth. I like the click. I give me that tactile feel. And for the mouse, we've got the pulse fire dart. Now we've got the RGB lights kind of trying to match the theme as well. Uh, so that's kind of what we've got going on over here, but HyperX makes some underrated gear. They've got high-quality stuff and they're not crazy expensive. They're low-key. One of my favorites.

We even have the HyperX cloud flight S now these are great for long gaming sessions. They're extremely comfortable, like, look at these air cushions guys, super soft. They go completely over the ear. If you want a game for a long time, this is where it's at. I love hyper Xs. Uh, gaming headsets are this. One's got some cool features. You've got controls on the sides for like volume, that kind of thing. But it also has wireless charging. You can wirelessly charge these if you want. So lots of cool stuff from HyperX. So that's kind of why we decided to just go with them. Keep that minimal look. Nothing super crazy. Fits the vibe here really well. So we've got the gaming headset when we're gaming on the PC and it also works with the PS five. And I think it can work with the none or not.

It doesn't work with the switch. I don't use it for that, but I think it might be able to work with the switch, but it doesn't work with the Xbox that we have here, but that's cool because we have the Canto you twos. So these are like, you know, some small desktop speakers. Uh, we didn't want to do anything super big here since this is not some crazy large desk, but it still has like that Walnut finish. That matches for the most part. You know, I think some of the wood might not match exactly. Like we've got this little random Ikea leaf thing that doesn't go that well, but it's all good. You know, it still hits the theme a little bit. Uh, but these, I think match for the most part. These look good. They sound great. And these are connected directly to the monitor.

So no matter what is playing on the monitor, I can have the audio going to the speakers. So no matter what system you're playing, they all produce audio from these speakers and they sound really good. Now you might be wondering how many HTMI ports does this monitor has? Right. Well, it's got a single one and it's got a display port, of course. So we got that connected to the PC, but to make this work, we had to use something from the folks over at rocket fish. Oh, Dan, I've got it taped down, Jay. It's cool. We'll throw it some B roll. So we've got an HTMI splitter in here, so you can connect up to four different things with HTMI and whenever I want to switch, I just use this little remote, and then with this, I can go to whatever console that I want.

Uh, and it works pretty well. I don't notice any lag. It also supports 4k and HDR. So, you know, it's one of the most high-quality HTMI glitters that I've used. It's a little expensive, but it's what made this whole thing come together. Uh, so it was worth checking out. Uh, but yeah, that's pretty much what we've got going on over here. Anything that we're missing J the switch. Oh, I'm glad you asked. So behind the controllers, uh, the artifacts have an extra little spot. We've got our switch sitting right here and you might be wondering how you, how have you got it connected over here since there's no dock, right? Well, there is a dock in the back, uh, in our surge protector. We've got the janky convert dock. Uh, and with that, we're able to just plug in the HTMI cable to it.

And we're also able to plug in the cable, the USB-C cable that goes to the switch. So that's where the switches nice low key can't even see that it's there. And that was the idea to keep the consoles out of sight. And then whenever you just want to use it, you just grabbed the controller from up here and you're kind of good to go. We can't exactly hide this guy. So it's got his little island over here that it sits on, but that about wraps it up for this video guys. Hopefully, you enjoyed it. This is just a project that I've been working on. I wanted a really clean setup that houses pretty much anything that you can play. This is the gamer's paradise that this, the setup is living in.
