Hello great and remarkable people!

MOTIVATIONAL MOMENT - Focus while persevering through your persecution to push forth into your purpose that is predicated not by your predicament but your promise! Forever choose to have your promise in mind so that your purpose will manifest and not go amiss.

LIFE LESSON: Don't allow another baby to birth itself without presenting a praise - regardless to the baby being stillborn or living and promoting further purpose within its own life. THERE IS A REASON AND A PURPOSE TO BUILD YOU IN ALL THINGS!

THE QUESTION...WHY DO YOU CARE?

We went through and dealt with some of the issues that cause us to be “care”…
1) Dishonesty/Deception
2) Reality Escapism
3) General Foolishness
4) Disinterest

All these issues lead to being OVERWHELMED!

We have to look past ourselves and yet pray and fast and live a Holy life in and outside of the presence of people in order to sanctify ourselves before the people as well as not be overwhelmed by the pressures of ministry in order that we remain ministry minded!

1) What is the primary reason that we cannot say “praise G-d” but instead we end up saying “I’m over it” in a feeling of exasperation and being overwhelmed?

EVERYTHING THAT YOU ARE THINKING OF RIGHT NOW COME FROM A LOSS OF FOCUS OR A SENSE THAT PURPOSE HAS BEEN ABORTED!

G-D GIVES US THE ABILITY TO CHANGE PERSPECTIVES AT WILL!
Genesis 1:1 - Bereshit
Bet – House or Building
Resh - Head (Proud Man)
Shin – Fire or Torch

Translation: The presence of G-d infilling humanity through the vehicle of knowledge. From the very beginning it was the plan of the Most High to indwell mankind in order to transform and give us the ability to be able to focus and/or to change perspective at will!

We as humans are the only creation who can change perspectives at will either within or outside of the “will” of the Most High.

Our central goal is to focus always on the positive and productive aspect that glorifies G-d. Being overwhelmed and losing the productive focus forces us to lose joy.

LET US DEAL WITH THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE PERSON…

You say you have to keep focus on G-d for prayer and so therefore look past your hurt and pain in order to keep that perspective, however, what happens when you encounter the individual who says, I DON’T WANT YOUR PRAYER! Since our perspective is no longer our perspective (as a minister) but we must put on the hat of the individual who says they don’t want prayer!

2) What are some of the things that could possibly cause someone to say “I DON’T WANT PRAYER?” Could some of the same things apply to you? Why don't you want prayer sometimes?

3) Does hearing someone say “I don’t want your prayer” upset you?

And yet we are back to the question of the day…WHY DO YOU CARE IF THEY DON’T?

John 21: 22 - “Yeshua saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? Follow thou me.”

The reason that we cannot get upset and cannot fail and faint is because we have been called to be committed to the ministry of the Most High! It doesn’t matter because there is a higher purpose so what the next person does in ministry should be of no effect for yoU! The end is still the same but your individual roads of travel are very different!

What does it mean to be called and committed?
Genesis 22: 1 – “And it came to pass after these things, that Hashem did send Abraham on an adventure “nacah”, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am (Heneini - I AM PRESENT AND I AM OBEDIENT).

WE MUST DEAL WITH CONTEXTUALIZATION…

In order to present we must be able to hear and obey and if we truly hear and obey we will be Holy but in order to be Holy we must first fear.

So let’s deal with this…
FEAR – YARE
Yod – Hand (Hand of G-d)
Resh – Head (Proud Man)
Aleph – Oxen Head (Representation of the Almighty)

So “yare” would mean, the Hand of G-d upon the head of man brings him under/into the submission of the Almighty.
This is what it means to live your life in fear (yare) of G-d! Not in debilitation but moreso in awe of the Most High as we submit to His direction and guidance! We cannot get a misrepresentation of the english equivalent to this word when the Hebrew is telling us something different! Fear means to be under the shadow or hand of the Almighty based upon our conduct!

The problem is that many of us want to still use our conceptualizations of grace that connotes niceness such as honor in place of fear but that's not what he's saying! He said do NOT FEAR the arrow that flys by night nor the arrow by day...but instead FEAR Him! The baseline emotion of humanity is fear which is also the beginning of wisdom! We are instilled with fear from the beginning but our directives change as we become older and more acclimated to the position of the things within this world!

What does that mean, OUR EXPERIENCE IN LIFE CAUSES US TO CHANGE OUR FOCUS AND PERCEPTION FROM GOD-CENTEREDNESS TO EMOTIONALISM. Romans 1: 28 ("And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;)" so very easily defines this concrete example. We have taken on the experience of the world and because we want the world and what the world wants from us so much more than we want G-d, G-d turned our natural affections away from Him to the world. In essence, it is G-d hardening our hearts as he did to Pharoah because we are more concerned with obtaining worldly pleasure than spiritual enlightenment and direction.

Genesis 3: 9, 10a
“And Hashem called unto Adam, and said unto him, where art thou? And he said, I heard (shma) thy voice in the garden and I was afraid…”

When G-d calls your presence is demanded at once!

In this, we have the law of first mention for the root word of fear! The question is what was Adam afraid of in this context? He wasn't afraid of the Most High YHWH Elohim who IS to be feared, instead, he was afraid of any repercussions he was about to experience! He was afraid because he directly contravened a command against the Most High! I DID precisely what you said NOT to DO! So I wasn't afraid because of what I did but when I heard your voice, I was afraid.

Now understand, FEAR in itself is not a sin! It is what you put your fear into that makes it a sin! Had he feared G-d and obeyed by doing what he was supposed to do, he may have heard the voice of the Most High but the response should've been the exact same because of his fear of the Almighty! You shouldn't have to be afraid or in fear of the Most High because you are not doing what you're supposed to do...you should just fear Him because He is G-d and His voice should still startle you because you are doing what He commanded you to do! Adam should've feared before hand and he wouldn't be in fear of the punishment! He is in sin and disobedience because the object of Adam's fear has been placed in the wrong place! It's no longer G-d, it's now the punishment that he fears!

I John says there is no fear in love! G-d loves Adam in this case and honestly the Most High threw Adam right out of the garden! Love acts and sometimes the action of love can be hurtful and painful but when all is said and done the proof that He loves us is self-evident for without having to go through our transgressions that we cross we will never grow to put fear towards G-d and not towards anything but Him! Put your fear in proper perspective and Fear the Most High, to fear ANYTHING else is the sin of disobedience that stems from the fear of punishment mentioned in Genesis 3: 9, 10!

3) Is our disobedience to the command even of fearing G-d and knowing G-d a direct result of our lack of love for G-d or even because we lack the ability to be loved by G-d due to constraints placed upon our life by people in our life? Does the experience of life create in us the inability to be loved by G-d or for us to love G-d?

Next, we have Holiness or to Be Holy…
HOLY – KADOSH
Kauf – Back of Mans Head
Dalet – Door
Shin – Torch or Fire

So Kadosh means a man looking through the door of the tabernacle to look upon the altar of the Most High and that's how the man knows what's Holy! The Most High is consuming all things that are NOT LIKE HIM!

John 10:7-11 is the verse that is used many times to promote the “Abundant Life” that comes from living the life of a believer! This “I'm ok, you're ok” thinking has many faults! This verse even within itself is hard speech! Most people at that point and time had issues and we still do now because it causes us to examine and then to accept what is presented by doing something!

The phrase “they may have it (life” more abundantly” is not an adverb, it is actually an adjective that speaks about the quality of life and NOT the quantity of life or the things that life has to offer! It could be said, you'll have a better life! What is the abundant life? What is the quality of life that makes an abundant life? It is LIVING! This passage is a spirit life and is not a lifestyle! It is the essence of life that they are speaking about! This life comes to those who enter and go out the door, the door being the Torah of the Most High, His Holy Word! This life is yet given because of the self-sacrafice of you! Going into the door of the Holy will cause all of your inclinations of ignorance to be burned! You sacrafice yourself to the Will of the Holy by entering into the door!

In this context we are talking about Yeshua's life (NOT HIS DEATH)! The abundant life that they are speaking of is NOT OUR LIFE, it is the life of Yeshua! Once again, not his death but his life! He said I came to give you the life that I have!

You must have an exchange, it is NOT your life! If the Most High is your Master, you cannot do what you want, you must do what the Most High commands! It's not a difficult life as according to Deuteronomy 30! It's not your choice which is what makes it difficult! We don't want to do what the Most High commands, we want to do what we want to do! That's why this life is hard! It is not a passive thing, it is ACTIVE! We must take on the yoke by doing the commands!

The word “abundantly” from John 10:10 is the Greek word perissos, which means “exceeding”, “abundant”, etc. The root word for this is peran, which means “from beyond”, or “from the other side.” In other words, the life that is offered is not simply a “better” life or a “new” life but it is a life from beyond where we are currently situated! It is the life that emanates from the Most High and into this realm! It is very close to the word “Hebrew.”

If anyone knows the word Hebrew it is “ivri” and actually means “one who has crossed over” or “one from beyond.” That's why Abram was considered a Hebrew! He left the land of Ur and he went and crossed over into the land where the Most High showed him! He understood that he had to live BEYOND on OVER AWAY from his original point of origin!

That's the same for us, the Most High is instructing us to live BEYOND what we've been taught and to live in that life that extends directly from Him! The understanding is that this life is not given to those who share the faith of Abraham, instead, it is the SHARED life from beyond his death! This life doesn't die with the person, this life is the life that is the same life that was breathed into HaAdam to make Him a living being! This is the same life that stretches over time and space and the life that we are being called to live! This is the life that was being discussed...the life that extends from beyond and draws us to go beyond! You go from where everyone else is to another place! We don't place our hope in the future, we live here and now!

Question: What is the effect of living an “other worldly” life while you yet live here?

It declares the Glory of G-d! My life is not my own, to Him I belong, I give myself to you of G-d! It speaks to all creation that you are the servant of a King by making Him the King of your life! Many people may not follow along but it's not important, you are in obedience to the King! It is the insignificance of our service to Him that brings Glory to the Most High!

Finally we have hear and obey…in Hebrew it is only one word!
Sh'ma is
Shin – Fire or Torch
Mem – Fluid, Encircling, Overwhelming
Ayin – To See and/or Comprehend

To Hear and Obey means to See and Comprehend the Encircling and Overwhelming Influence of the Shekinah (His Spirit). So to obey Him is to understand His name! And many people will say, I understand who He is, well if you understand who He is you will obey Him!

The name of someone reveals their character! There is no magic in the name of the Most High! Many people feel that the pronouncement of the ineffable name is like magic and if I could just properly intone it will have meaning! So the same with some of our brothers and sisters, if I pray in Jesus name then what I pray for will have meaning and conversely if I don't say those words it's not really a prayer! That is most assuredely a misunderstanding about the understanding surrounding the name of someone! To pray in the name or to name the name is to instill the character! It is the essence of His being if there is such a thing as in our english language it is nearly impossible to describe the Most High! How can we describe Him outside of the words He's used of himself? The attributes that He Himself named, and even those are not sufficient because they are still only language! The words never quite get to the essence of Who He is!

Listen, if you do not Sh'ma Him or Obey Him, YOU DO NOT KNOW HIM! The relationship comes and is built upon you taking upon yourself His yoke, His Sovereignty, He is the King! How many times do we say it in our blessings, He's King of the Universe! He's always the King! That idea or concept of Him being the King and our responsibility to Him being the King gives us a better understanding and it is the way that we know Him! You cannot know Him if you will not obey Him!

Do you want to know if you don't know Him very well? How are you doing at being obedient? People ask, do you have a relationship with G-d and many people respond, Oh yes I have a great relationship with Him which them may be described in wonderful religious terms but the relationship is borne out not by their description but instead by what they DO! How well do they consider His words? Do they consider his word profitable in their lives? You get a lot of people to say I know that's what it says, but that's not what it means at least not for me! We've both heard and said those types of things! So it's more than just some magical name! It is the very essence of who the Most High is, the character of His Highness! It is His person, it is the most intimate thing about Him: His Name!

Malachi 3: 16 – 18
Then those who feared HaShem spoke to one another, and HaShem gave attention and heard [sh’ma] it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear HaShem and who esteem (meditate) His name.“They will be Mine,” says HaShem of hosts, “on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.” So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves G-d and one who does not serve Him.

We see this relationship between Sh'ma, you see G-d gave attention and heard it in remembrance of the book. G-d hears but what does He hear? He recognizes those who FEAR Him and that has a purpose in our lives!

Matthew 7: 24 – 27
“Therefore everyone who hears [akouo] these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock .“And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house ; and yet it did not fall , for it had been founded on the rock .“Everyone who hears [akouo] these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.

Who is the wise man? The one who hears of course! He hears these words and acts on them! The wise man is someone who hears and acts! So who is the foolish man? The one who hears and doesn't act or someone who doesn't hear but goes and acts anyway without hearing! What does it mean to build your house on a rock? It is to hear and to obey! It is most unfortunate that we have to have those two separate in that case but our minds would not perceive properly with only one or the other! It's like soemone's kids who don't pay attention and the first thing that we ask is “do you hear me?” If they are not acting, NO THEY DO NOT HEAR YOU because they are not doing what you are instructing! This concept is completely removed from biblical thought! You cannot hear if you do not obey the instruction given by hearing! You hear me but you're not listening! Why do I need to listen, if I hear I'll obey if I don't hear I won't! The Most High is the King and because He is the King if you hear, your obedience will show forth! You don't have a choice to obey or not to obey the King! Or you can choose to say I'm not going to obey Him because He's not the King! By willfully choosing not to obey you declare that He is not the King and that someone else (maybe yourself) holds the Kingship of your life! To say that He is the King and to not act like it is completely contradictory! Such as to say that Barack Obama is the President and then to send a death threat to him or not to back him on anything he does is completely contradictory!

The concept of Sh'ma is a great privilege, because in hearing and obeying we are in fact declaring his Kingship not with our mouths but with our actions where our allegiance REALLY shows! Sh'ma is when we really declaring His Kingship and we're not saying the big huge things, this is about the little things! Do you bless G-d after you eat? That's a little thing! Some will say I thanked Him before but the command is to thank Him AFTERWARDS! When you do that little thing, you declare His Kingship! It means you are actually listening to what He says and are putting into practice His decree no matter how small, minute, or insignificant it may seem! The little things build to the big things! How do you build a house? One brick or one board at a time! Each and of themselves are small and insignificant but when the entire house is finished it is in majesty of each single small piece that contributed to its greatness!

There are flaws in houses but what is the house, can it be lived in and is it built on the rock? Even with the flaws in the house, if it's built on the rock, it shall stand! The point is, those who hears and obeys or does is likened to a wise man! The pardes is always present, the wise builds on the rock the foolish on the sand but what is the meaning? The parable is not THEOLOGY! Parables are ALWAYS a call to action! You can take the theology of the parable and THROW IT AWAY if you won't do the POINT within the parable and make the decision you are being asked to make!

John 10: 3, 4
“To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear [akouo] his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. “When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.

The voice of the Master is the way that we know how to follow! If you cannot hear, you cannot follow! If you will not obey you are not a student! Don't we know a lot of people who claim to be disciples of the Most High and then those claim to be disciples of Yeshua, and then those claiming to be disciples of Pastor X down the road who are NOT OBEYING?! Is it possible to not obey yet be a disciple? How is it possible? Yes it is true that we all falter and do our own thing from time to time, however, how can you be a disciple and be disobedient to the one you say you are being discipled by or the one to whom you are learning obedience? Can someone live in disobedience who claims to be a follower to the one who calls if they don't respond? Who are they a part of? Are they one of his followers? This is not an easy answer but the Scripture is clear, if you love me, you obey me!

So, in order for Abraham to have been present and to say Heneini, he had to first KNOW HIS NAME, and since he knew His name he was able to make the distinction between what G-d sanctifies and what he disdains and therefore lived a life from beyond this world and became the embodiment of being in the world but not of the world, and he was able to do so because he allowed the hand of G-d to bring Him under submission.

This is what it means to be committed and to look beyond what others are doing, saying, and ministering! It’s not your job to be ministry police, it is your job to hear and obey, to be Holy, and to fear the True and Living G-d!

YOU MUST KNOW WHO AND WHAT YOU ARE CALLED TO AND FOR!

Your calling is not my calling, my anointing is not your anointing but it is the SAME Holy G-d who calls and anoints both of us!

As the book says, if others are promoted and you are forgotten, what is that to you? Be faithful, be sincere, walk worthy of the vocation wherein you have been called anointed, don’t be bitter but if you’re not chosen for something WHO CARES?

Genesis 2: 19, 20
Adam wasn’t necessarily paying attention of not having a help that complimented him, instead, he wasn’t caring and was being faithful to what the Most High called Him to do and that is where each of us must learn to stand and SERVE the Most High! In our respective calling that He has placed.

LOVE'S DIVINE VALUE - YOU WON'T GET AWAY!

Hello great and remarkable people!

MOTIVATIONAL MOMENT - Love completely and wholly oneself and then you may be able to share that experience with others.

Love is one of those words or I love you is one of those phrases that people so haphazardly throw around. I’m in love with you, I‘m in love with me, I fell in love, or even I’m in love with a stripper. The question becomes what truly is this word love. What are the connotations of love and how does love effect us both positively and negatively! Why is the word love such a strong stimulus for us and will cause us to do some things that not only are we not proud of but instead causes us to do some things that we may regret in the morning! Love will cause us to remain in relationships that are abusive and not healthy and are going nowhere. Love causes us to hold on to the hope of what could be when what could be is with someone else. Love causes us to be confused and lie and say that we aren’t confused but instead we are in love. Love can and will cause us to lie about who we are, where we are going, how we’re getting there, and why we chose to go that route in the first place. Why is love such a pull and such a tug on us and how is that we who cannot even justifiably identify what love is and cannot truly bring definition to it we keep holding grasp of the concept that is wrapped up in the one word, the word Love.

The word Love itself is undeniably one of the strongest words in the English language because that one word can change someone’s entire personality or character or reaction to a stimulus. Yes that one word, the word Love will make the one to whom it is being applied, will cause their entire world to go around without any stopping and nothing can go wrong even when there is no action surrounding the love that someone says they have for you. Love is probably the most strange word in our vocabulary yet probably one of the most used and intensified for application but WHAT IS LOVE?

The question is not simply what is Love but how is love?

Over the course of years I’ve heard many things about this irrational concept called love but the true question is, it is really a concept? Is love truly something that can be conceptualized simply to be applied at the appropriate time and place?

It’s not what you think it’s what you do!

Today our goal is not to deal within concepts of verbal conjecture but instead to deal with the actuality of the reality stemming from conceptual space that is in reality the motion of existence. What is the motion of existence, it is Love!

A popular song by SEAL reads as follows…
Then the rainstorm came, over me
And I felt my spirit break
I had lost all of my, belief you see
And realized my mistake
But time threw a prayer, to me
And all around me became still

I need love, love's divine
Please forgive me now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name

Through the rainstorm came sanctuary
And I felt my spirit fly
I had found all of my reality
I realize what it takes

Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name

Show me how to live and promise me you won't forsake

Well I try to say there's nothing wrong
But inside I felt me lying all along
But the message here was plain to see Believe me

Please forgive me now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name

As we ponder over this song we see love! Love is not only giving but love is receptive, love is a constant ebb and flow of the reality of life. Love is not simply love if it doesn’t lead to life! And life is not life if living purposely and on purpose with passion and sincerity is absent!

The refrain says, love can help me know my name! Love is what causes me to know my name. Love is the constant force that reinforces the authentic me to become present in any situation or circumstance and therefore causes a positive outcome for the evolution of my soul. Love is not just something that causes me to simply know my name, but the symbolism of my name reinforces not only who I am but who I am becoming, I am becoming and actualizing the value of love!

Look at yourself and remind YOU that you are valuable!
Remind yourself by saying "I am the divine value of love!"

The most misunderstood truth about love is that there is a divine value and it is an inescapable truth. You cannot escape the divine value of love because it is the essence of who G-d is and who you are becoming as you live and grow. Many times we use jargon and rhetoric and say in Him I move, in Him I breath, and in Him I have my being but if you are not becoming who He is and establishing who He is, then it’s not in Him but it is in the façade of Him. Yes the one they taught you about in Sunday School and Bible Class. The One who doesn’t love you and could care less about you and what you’re doing and how you’re living and progressing! Who we are becoming shows who and where we live, breath, and have our beingness. The façade and the figment of the reality is what we are growing into. WHY? We are growing into messiness and idolatry because we refuse to truly know our name and we refuse to truly accept the divine value of that which we cannot escape.

We begin with Abraham in the above verses of Scripture, and it is noted in the verses known as the Akeda or the Binding or Sacrafice of Issac that Abraham is told by the Most High G-d to kill his son and offer him up as a sacrifice to which Abraham is probably experiencing all types of misconstrued feelings and emotions and of course one of the emotions that Abraham could’ve been feeling is the emotion of love which causes grief and despair to come knowing that he would be faced with having to sacrifice his own son at the top of the mountain.

Most people use the ram in the bush as the point of reference to show that just when I need Him most G-d steps in…

Today however our focus is not the ram because when we understand the divine value of love, we don’t need a ram in the bush and will purposely offer ourselves up because we know the truth.

Isaac trusts Abraham with his life! Not only do we see the trusting nature of Isaac towards his father, we see the trusting nature that Abraham has towards G-d. G-d had promised Abraham through Isaac that his descendents would be innumerable as the sands on the sea with a dead son this is impossible, however Abraham understood and trusted G-d enough to know that even if I kill my son that G-d can and will raise Him up from the dead because of the promise that He made to me!

This is the part where the Christians ought to get excited! This is where you within your faith ought to understand that because of the promise that G-d made to you and those who were not a people that Jesus gets up in you and for you even in the dead situation!

It ain’t just about Isaac dying but it had to do with the nature of the relationship that Isaac had with his father. Isaac wasn’t a little boy, Isaac was a grown man probably between 30 and 40 years old well able to subdue and conquer Abraham but Isaac trusted his father even though he said where is the sacrifice, Isaac knew that the promise was yet made and if the promise was made and Abraham said that G-d would provide He trusted the word of his father. The nature of the relationship was trust which is why Isaac allowed Abraham to tie him up and bind him. Within some re-tellings of this story, Abraham actually did kill Isaac, however, G-d immediately raised him back to life because the Love that was presented was a presentation of trust. My faith is not in the ram in the bush but my faith is in the promise!

Look at yourself and say, oh what a promise! What is the promise, the promise is life! The promise is to be raised from the dead because a dead son is equivalent to lost promise.

Abraham knew he could do just what G-d said because G-d would complete what He said that He would do and G-d will not lie when it comes to His promise. He will complete the task in order that His word is established in your life!

Please understand that this was a task of Abraham and had Abraham not loved G-d, this task would not have gone so smoothly! What are you saying Sista Preacher? I’m saying that the reason that this worked is primarily because Abraham loved G-d!

The verse says ““Now it came to pass after these things that G-d tested Abraham, and said to him, ‘Abraham!’ And he said, ‘Here I am.’ Then He said, ‘Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love [ahav]…”

The word love here is the word ahav and is spelled with the Hebrew letters
Alef – Ox Head – G-d
Hey – Man with Outstretched Hands – Look/Behold
Bet/Vet – House/Tent/Building – Son

Love = G-d Revealed in the Son

If I’m in the right house there ought to be one Hallelujah, or one thank Ya Jesus because the truth is that Yeshua in the NT said that he came that you may have life and that life that you have that you may have it more abundantly! He didn’t say I came to die that you may have life, my life being extended from the source of all there is the existence without existence, I come that you may have life and that more abundantly! He goes on to say that if you love me, if you love who I am and what I stand for then you’ll obey my commandments. What are my commandments? To love G-d and to walk in his ways and to keep His commands and his statutes and his ordinances and to fear G-d for it is the beginning of wisdom. Yes to sit under the shadow of the Most High G-d, that’s what it means to fear G-d, to bask in His presence to bask in His glory to bask in the awesome splendor of all that G-d represents…I came to LOVE and therein lays the divine nature of that love! So Love G-d for who he is because of the action of the people who represent Him!

Ask yourself...do you represent G-d or are you having a re-presentation of the façade of love?

So now, we see that love is not simply warm fuzzy feelings of emotions but love is the embodiment of action! Not just any action but just action, action that causes you to desire to be the representation of love. Love is always seen and expressed in tangible ways and there is always an outcome so therefore love is subject to the law of cause and effect whereby love being the cause and the outcome of that cause is the effect.

Due to the nature of love, love is therefore tangible and can be measured! How does one know they’re in love? Bishop McCluney says it all the time, when I’m in love I don’t need no rules, I just do what I’m supposed to do because I love you! I have said heneini one time already, I don’t have to keep saying it! I don’t have to keep saying I’m present, I hear you and I obey, I’ve already done that, I don’t need to be obedient to rules and regulations because my love causes me to want to please you, it causes me to want to stroke your ego, it causes me to want to have dinner done, it causes me to want put on some 6” stilletto’s and a corset and pull out the whips, chains, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup ‘cause you like it! When you love it ain’t about you, if I make you happy that’s enough for me because I love you and I cannot get around the fact that when I love you I grow in the place of appreciating myself even more!

Let us not be twisted though! Although I do all that I do, I still in return receive all that I desire! My motivation in love is not reception but in making you happy, however, the truth is that because my motivations are correct and that I'm honest with myself and with you, I receive on the basis of the purity of my love!

Most people want to separate the very action of love from what it really is! When you love you fear. When one loves they obey. When one loves they keep it, they treasure that love! They treasure the revelation of the divine value of love! You can’t separate love from obedience. As a matter of fact if you do it right you love your brother. Yes the one you don’t want to call your brother, the one who used you and misused you and mishandled you, and lied on you behind your back and turned people you didn’t even know against you before they even got the chance to know you but when they met you they judged you because your brother had gone before you and take word of personal testimony to plead the case, yes when you love you love that brother, who is murderous and tried to kill you because you see past the revelation of the self that stands up and hides G-d like nature is shielding G-d but you see the nature of G-d that is within your brother! You see the potential wholeness that can come out of your brother instead of seeing the actualized brokenness…you can’t love G-d and not love your brother if you do you’re a liar, you’re the devil and the truth does not rest within you! You have to walk in obedience, you have to have a lifestyle that is representative of G-d being revealed in you before you can say you love somebody!

Love is a choice, you can choose to love or you can choose not to love. If you choose not to love G-d, you will love something else. Love isn’t happenstance and you don’t fall into love and you don’t fall out love but is a choice and it’s not an easy choice either, it’s not automatic, it requires difficult choices but with obedience it becomes easier to love! You have to choose to obey more completely for in choosing that, you choose to love G-d! You cannot get away from love…it has value and that value is you! You are the divine value of love so choose to love and choose life!

LOVE THE SINNER, HATE THE SIN!

Hello great and remarkable people!

MOTIVATIONAL MOMENT - There is a yoruba proverb that states, "It is impossible to hate the root of a tree without hating the fruit."

How can we preach "love the sinner and hate the sin" based on the proverb presented? Is it really possible to love someone yet have disdain and hate what they represent? When a man's sin condemns him, is G-d only going to condemn his sin or will he condemn the man as well? If G-d condemns the man then is G-d guilty of not separating the man from his sin as we are told to do when we hear "love the sinner and hate the sin." I personally think that we must examine such thoughts simply because when we examine these thoughts we are causing ourselves to think and open our minds eye to inevitable possibilities that exist which in turn forces us into a position of understanding in lieu of judgment.

What do we mean when we say, LOVE THE SINNER BUT HATE THE SIN, how is it possible to do both? When did it become possible to separate someone from that which they cannot seemingly separate themselves? We must really take our time and really examine what we believe and why we believe that which we believe and learn to deal with these issues.

I believe that when someone uses this "saying" that they are trying to see the best in a person and would like to see them become as great as they can become. The issue with saying that in religious circles, how is it that you define sinner and sin and what makes you the authority in saying what sin is and what sin is not?

I will leave with this! No matter how you come to having these definitions in your life and how you espouse them as truth...someone will always be there who is living the antithesis to your understanding! As they live that life with purpose and doing so well, as someone who is a thinking religionist it is necessary to possibly "re-think" some of our archaic definitions and bring them into current ideology and utilize them correctly instead of utilizing them to hurt, distort, and manipulate!

Marriage Equality & Acceptance of Gays...OH MY!

"G-d has formed a container for His power to actualize and realize itself in the realm of manifestation! His purpose for breathing the life force into man is being actualized by the performance of His power in the life of Humanity!" - Tanya Alkhaliq

We as humans are being faced with many conversations, questions, ideologies, perspectives, and instances of thought within our small frames due to the rapid nature of life! Every generation (approx. 40 years) mankind is faced with a question of great scientific discovery, of religious battle, and social conservation. Last generations question was that of racial disparity and segregation and the same onslaughts that were used to "put people in their place" are the same methodologies which are being employed now within our newest issue we have to face and with which to come to grips.

It's not simply the case for marriage equality, however, it is the case for the fight for acceptance of those within the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community within the larger framework of society and having the same socially constructed rights and benefits as any other heterosexual couple would have.

Since President Barack Obama has gone public with his desire that same-sex couples should be able to be included in marriage, the United States has gone into an uproar, especially the black religious community! Even those who aren't "religious" have become bible toting members of the clergy to say how wrong it is that he would openly endorse relationships of same-sex couples by advocating marriage for those couples. It is a blasphemous move!

I personally have my religious convictions, however, my religious convictions do not override neither supercede my civil convictions for the good of ALL people. I cannot in any way expect that someone of a differing religious affiliation or lifestyle understanding to take my personal understanding and run with it as their own. This is where I think all the issues are being compounded concerning marriage equality and the acceptance of the glbt community within our religious institutions. At the end of the day, members of the glbt community will still be a part of our overall life and they will still be in bed with their partners regardless to our understanding, approval, or disapproval of their relationship standards.

Many religious people are addressing the issue of marriage as a biblical command, however, as a religious scholar I must note that the bible is not very clear about marriage and the this concept of marriage that we possess in the United States is a detraction from the original intent of marriage! Marriage was never supposed to be a choice, it was originally a betrothal from one family over to the next! It was an arrangement between families whereby the marrying parties usually had very little to do with one another and many times may had only met 2 or 3 times before their was a ceremony where the bride no longer belonged to her family but was bought into another family for the groom. AQs this was the original intent and "orderliness" of marriage, I must point out that marriage has undergone a differint interpretation even in that sense, how far fetched is it to not expect that a differing interpretation can be pulled out?

Most religious people are further basing their disdain and hatred off of the Biblical "commmands" against homosexual behavior but even that is far and outdated when you get into the literature for what it is. We say we believe what the Bible says, but in reality, we only really believe what we believe will benefit us personally in the long run! No bible scholar can openly declare that the Bible speaks about homosexuality in the form that it has taken on as well as how it is positioned in the bible as the same thing, sort of how there is NO clear cut definition of marriage or what a marriage is supposed to be within the bible! The reason for this is because marriage is not a biblical institution, it is a cultural one! A cultural institution whereby individuals make the customs and privileges to enjoy and not the bible.

He still hasn’t fully developed what it means to be in the image of G-d and still doesn’t quite understand who he is in relation to the changing of the countenance! He is undergoing an evolutionary process of mind.

The question is how is a matter of civil understanding a compromise of morals, values, and beliefs? I don't understand that in the least. If someone who is gay is offensive to you, why do you same people work in the company that hires glbt people, why are you not boycotting these companies and picketing and protesting against these companies? Why are you attending the schools where they are allowed to attend? Why do you read the KJV that a known gay man who killed his lovers after having sex with them and infecting young boys with diseases instituted the tradition that you read from every time you open your bible? Would all of these things not be an affront to biblical morality? Why have you not began to develop your own institutions and governmental structures to have your own nation where people can be biblically moral live within the confines of your morality? Oh I know why...because you're not really moral based, you're ignorance-, hate-, and fear based! You're not sure of how to live and urn your life so your superior attitude of rule and take over has kicked in!

I stand behind President Obama not on religious principle but on civil principle! President Obama has to take into account the WHOLE nation and cannot allow religious observance and understanding to cloud the issues! What are the issues? People are people and they are going to live and when people are deprived of anything it is an injustice! I believe NOTHING the government says, however, someone who fights injustice I can see and support that! Someone running for President said that they wouldn't have voted for the Civil Rights Act and that they wouldn't have voted against Jim Crow Laws because people have the right to run their businesses on their own land the way that they want to run it! Now...let someone who is darker toned say "these are black only pies" in a public establishment...can you say SHUT DOWN AND THROWN IN JAIL!?

Religious right and civil right are things that are far from one another and they shouldn't interfere with one another! I don't see any religious people trying to amend the constitution to make Divorce Illegal! This great "Christian" nation and 50% of the marriages (hetero-normative) are ending in divorce, out of the 50%, 70% of those are from religious leaders homes and they are then allowed to remarry. Is that the christian duty...according to christian tradition is that not considered adultery? When will you suggest stiff penalties and crimes for adulterers?

As a psychologist and sociologist I must concede that people are born with all forms of sexuality present and accounted for so do I believe that people are born gay...no! Do I believe people are born straight...no! One thing is sure, people are born and the people that are born have the right to have the same type of benefits applicable to everyone else who is married when they reach their age of maturation.

I don't want to change your ideology or theology, I personally could care less about it because in the middle of all of this there are people who we are hurting based upon our personal ideologies. I also see that children of gay and lesbian couples are much more grounded, most of the time are straight themselves and go on to have "hetero-normative" lives, as well as very respectful and become positive influential leaders! In hetero-normative relationships I see much dysfunction of children as well as these are many times the same children who are gay but do so behind the cover of night and in secret places.

This for me is not about popular opinion but I have to truly respect the cultural cauldron that we are in within the United States and people have the right as two consenting adults to do as they feel they need to do in order to live their lives. I respect people's differences...

I am learning that I have to love and deal with and accept people for who they are and where they are not for where I would want them to be or where they may be in the future!

The Biblical Sabbath (Older Post)

In this short apologetic discourse our purpose is to utilize biblical text in order to develop a theological and doctrinal approach to discussing the Sabbath as opposed to a historical critical approach (as most Scholars utilize and juxtapose that is the only method by which an adequate result can be ascertained). Using the latter approach, we are caused to focus mainly on the origin and historical development of the commandment; however, we must move beyond this type of methodology because it is conceived as a descriptive historical discipline which is incompatible with “confessional theology.”

From the Hebrew Pentecostal perspective the view of the Sabbath command is based primarily and totally on the creation week and this is solidified throughout the entire discourse of scripture beginning in Genesis and resulting in the Angel crying out with a loud voice in Revelation 14:7 calling all back to a relationship of worship, which is instituted from the day that G-d rested on the seventh day. To further understand, it should be noted that Yahushua and all apostle’s of the New Testament were also Sabbath keepers continuing in the Synagogue to read Torah on the Sabbath. As such, we adhere to the rest and replenishing of Torah reading as commanded by us since the foundation of the world by continuing in Sabbath worship.

The Sabbath overshadows our relationship with G-d in its entirety and is an indication of how G-d has, is, and will continue to protect our relationship with Him as this is the time established for the essential development of that relationship. It further clarifies the relation between G-d and man as it continues to point us to Him when in reality our desire is to usurp G-d’s authority in the universe (as the purpose of the THE FALL).

The objective of this document is to provide some form of guideline for those desiring a greater understanding of the Sabbath-keeping communities and is not meant to address all questions pertaining to keeping of the Sabbath but instead to serve as an introduction to the worship of the Hebrew Pentecostal community and why we observe the Sabbath.

When G-d says to us to remember the Sabbath day, He does so on our behalf and wants us to remember Him as we rest in Torah and fellowship amongst ourselves.

According to the creation narrative the original Sabbath was at the end of the creation week. However, we must now question the motivation and purposes behind G-d creating a day of rest. Mark 2:27 answers this question seamlessly, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.” The creation of the day of rest in creation wasn’t because G-d was made to be tired; instead, it was establishing a day or rest and relationship building amongst the people. Therefore, both our spiritual lives and bodies are restored. This day was made to be a perpetual sign of the everlasting and unending covenant between G-d and his people that His people ALWAYS remembered who it was that sanctifies them and created them and that they as His people always have a reference as to who their G-d is and give that recognition throughout the earth.

As this day is rooted and grounded in creation, its privileges and obligations are binding in all nations, sectors, and classes and it also pertains to all members of the household including children and even extends “to the stranger that is within thy gates” (Exodus 20:10). Understanding this reasoning causes us to recognize the authority of G-d by being the symbol of His relationship to us and we are thus obligated to respect this gift by promoting to engage in activities that further establishes and enhances our relationship with G-d. This leads us to activities directed toward G-d (Communal Torah Study, Worship, Prayer, etc…) and toward those in our presence (fellowship, friendship, sharing of meals) and away from self-serving interests.

If we will notice the common theme of the Sabbath in creation we would go on to understand that without fellowship and without man entering into the rest of G-d on the day that G-d has established, the whole of creation would be cut off from its Maker and thus would have to find its purpose in itself. It would be an indication that G-d has returned to His absolute self-existence in the inner glory of himself leaving man and the world to themselves. As G-d has chosen to rest and to develop a day of rest and cease from His work of creation, he is further freed to fellowship with man and to not simply show Love but to also offer and be receptive to that Love that was created in Himself before the manifestation of creation.

We would further note that G-d blessed the seventh day which by expression is the basic idea of bestowing benefits upon something or someone. As such, when G-d blessed the Sabbath He bestowed that day with certain benefits that would be enjoyed by those who would keep it. Exodus 20:11 states, “through it [the day] he mediates the divine blessing to the person who keeps it.” It must be understood further that a day that is not blessed is a day deprived of positive fulfillment. G-d pronounced the blessing on the 7th day for those to enjoy communion and fellowship within the time period called the seventh day.

G-d declares that the seventh day is Holy. This is very unusual as there are rituals for the sanctification of all things, however, no ritual has been established and prescribed for the sanctification of Sabbath: it is only through the creation story that we understand that this is a result of Divine declaration. Based on that pronouncement by G-d the remainder of scriptures that speak about the Sabbath and the holiness and sanctification of that day is already established, thereby, they understood that although they did not do the sanctifying of the day it was their responsibility to preserve the sanctification of that day by faithful obedience. This day is unique because G-d rested and endowed it with holiness. It also does not lack a provisional status which meant that the holiness would no longer be present by the end of the day. Since G-d sanctified it, it is a permanent reminder of its concepts of service, fellowship, and instruction as G-d separated this one day and thus provided every person in all places with a gift for all time.

Going back to Genesis 2:3, we understand that the person who keeps the Sabbath holy follows the pattern and meets with Him on that day of rest and we must further note that the Sabbath was the VERY FIRST thing to be sanctified in Scripture as it acquired that special status that properly belongs to G-d and He alone. In this way, Genesis places a direct emphasis on the sanctity of the Sabbath and directly postulates how man created in divine image should conduct himself on the seventh day.

Of course this short discourse is simply the flea on the tip of an iceberg of information and constitutions as far as our observance of the Sabbath in our worship practices, however, I believe that this was an introduction that will cause understanding as to why we keep the Sabbath and why we choose to honor it as Holy as G-d has deemed it.

The Bible Based Marriage Meets Fornication & Masturbation

Here I go again! I pray that this causes people to think and question everything that they THINK they know and reinforces their need to study! Regardless, STUDY is important because everyone has a different walk and has a different understanding!

WHAT IS A BIBLE BASED MARRIAGE?
Honestly there is no such thing as a biblically based marriage! You won't find the word marriage once in the bible! Even the concept of marriage is missing from the Bible that we pre-suppose as marriage within our society. The concept of marriage is much like the concept of the trinity: absent unless you finagle Scripture and base it upon current knowledge. Instead of looking at the angle from which it was written, we look at it from the angle of pre-conceived knowledge. You may find husband, you'll find wife but the whole issue of what constitutes marriage has been largely left up to how we as a society evolves!

Betrothal was the only way in the Bible that is considered marriage which is an arranged marriage, a business deal without the children's input! These two "children" may one day choose to love the other person at some point but love and dating/courting wasn't even a part of the society! Sort of like in our society now, dating isn't really important! Having sexual relationship precedes courting and dating and the next step is thus marriage or moving on to the next sexual fromp! For them, betrothal was about survival of the family name!

So honestly, I don't believe that any marriage is BIBLICAL! Marriage to me isn't even a civil issue because marriage was largely between FAMILIES! There was a written agreement that included those being betrothed how they were suppose to treat one another called a ketubah and their signature and the woman moving in with the man and consummation sexually was what sealed their "marriage."

SO WHAT'S GOING ON WITH FORNICATION?
Well all I can say is that the good Rebbetzin done did some massive studies concerning fornication and I can tell you now that there is so much more to this than what can be written here. Based on what is presented, hopefully we can delve even deeper into what fornication is...at the end of this, I'll let you all answer the question of whether or not having sex with someone that you're with is fornication or not and hopefully this will be the beginning of great study amongst us all!

Ok...so let's start once again with words...I keep on going over words! I hope that we are all getting an understanding that word meanings and the origins of those words mean A LOT when trying to decipher and figure out for today what these terms mean and how they relate to our life!

The term fornication is a derivative of the word “gwher” and if we were to take more interest in that root word, we would see many religious overtones!

ETYMOLOGY FROM THE AMERICAN HERITAGE DICTIONARY OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Fornication is derived from fornix (latin) – It is well known that in Rome brothels were also called “fornices” because prostitutes could be hired near the arches of these building and there is where the word “fornication” appeared to which it supposedly described sexual acts with a prostitute, however, this word is also related to the “furnace” which holds much significance in religious writings. Albeit, the most important relationship is between “gwher” (to burn) and fornication!

Yeshua was an “expert” at Judaic law and stated that his teaching was halachically correct (Matthew 5: 17). The problem is that there is more than one meaning that we have to deal with when dealing with the Hebrew Law!

We have the exoteric which is the “public” definition of fornication which is as follows: the cohabitation between a man, married or unmarried, and an unmarried woman – Jewish Encyclopedia.

However, there is a “hidden” meaning as well (which is what I would like to further focus on later in this writing)! There were Rabbis who studied the inner/hidden meanings of the law of Moshe Rabbeinu and the meaning of fornication is NOT necessarily the same...let's look!

“...since the Torah has warned against forbidden sexual relations and forbidden foods, while permitting relations with one's wife and eating meat and wine, the lustful person can find a place to wallow in fornication with his wife or wives and be of 'the guzzlers of wine and the gluttons of meat', and converse at will of all licentious things (since no prohibition against this is specified in the Torah). He can be a hedonist with the Torah's permission. Therefore, after enumerating the things which it forbids entirely, the Torah says: 'Be holy.' Constrain yourself also in that which is permitted.” - Rambam

In this he states that fornication can occur even with one's own wife! HMMM, interesting for him to say since most feel that fornication is between two unmarried people! If indeed fornication can occur WITHIN or WITHOUT the confines of marriage then we must further investigate fornication based on it's inner workings!

In the Bible, the law is defined primarily as the Decalogue/Ten Commandments and out of them two are directly related to sex and sexual relations: 1) one should not fornicate, 2) one should not commit adultery.

Adultery – voluntary sexual or emotional relations between a married person and someone other than his/her LAWFUL spouse

Fornication – voluntary sexual intercourse between two persons not married to one another

Don't they look the same? So why would the decalogue make mention of the two of them as if they are both separate! They say the same thing...WRONG! Adultery and fornication are ALWAYS kept distinct in both the Scriptures and in the commentaries! Closely related they are but not the same thing!

Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators AND adulterers G-d will judge. - Hebrews 13:4

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of G-d? Do not be deceived. NEITHER fornicators, nor idolaters, NOR adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor a person who commits extortion will inherit the kingdom of G-d. - 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

We must change our minds view, fornication (like many things even in this previous verse) does not mean what the dictionary neither what religious understanding states and over the long course of history we have made these two separate terms to mean the same thing!

Yeshua states, "Sin as such does not exist, but you make sin when you do what is of the nature of fornication, which is called 'sin.' For this reason the Good came into your midst, to the essence of each nature, to restore it to its root."

Esoterically speaking (which is not discussed and is discouraged amongst mainstream thought), we can see that the word fornication is not rooted in the term “fornix” (arch) but more closely the word “heat” and is therfore more closely related to “fornax” or oven and unbeknownst to most people, the oven is a very important sexual symbol found throughout the Scripture and the commentaries!

Then the L-rd rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the L-rd out of heaven...And he [Lot] looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a FURNACE. - Genesis 19:24, 28

And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go. And the L-rd said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the FURNACE, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh. And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt. And they took ashes of the FURNACE, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth upon man, and upon beast. And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians. - Exodus 9:7-9

And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with G-d; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the L-rd descended upon it in FIRE: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a FURNACE, and the whole mount quaked greatly. And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and G-d answered him by a voice. - Exodus 19:17-19

Whenever I would heal Israel, the sins of Ephraim are exposed and the crimes of Samaria revealed. ...I remember all their evil deeds. Their sins engulf them... They are all adulterers, burning like an OVEN... Their hearts are like an OVEN... Their passion smolders all night; in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire. - Hosea 7

And the L-rd went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of FIRE, to give them light; to go by day and night... - Exodus 13:21

Throughout all of the this, the presence of G-d is closely related to fire with G-d often appearing as fire. Our purpose here is to see the relationship between fornication and fornax/furnace and the importance thereof.

A furnace is a place that all impurities of something are removed. “And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with FIRE: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” - Matthew 3:10-12

I am come to send fire on the earth... - Luke 12:49

"Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Know ye not that ye are the temple of G-d, and that the Spirit of G-d dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of G-d, him shall G-d destroy; for the temple of G-d is holy, which temple ye are." - 1 Corinthians 3:13-17

"For our G-d is a consuming fire." - Hebrews 12:29

The furnace is a direct symbolic representation of where that fire is contained and utilized by will! It just so happens in the human being, that power of G-d, that the fire is related directly to sex and sexual energy!

Have you ever heard the term, “there may be snow up top but there's still a fire burning down below.” This is what they are speaking about, the sexual fire contained within the furnace of the sexual organs. For this reason marriage is sacred and precisely why the Decalogue is sexual in nature!

I'M MESSING UP SOMEBODY'S THEOLOGY!

If we look at life from a rational perspective, sex has the greatest power to either create or destroy! Meaning that sexual energy can be used safely when we are obedient to the divine or that fire can be misused and therefore all things found within its path are destroyed! As you can see the “official” definition of fornication is not the only definition and is not limited to that one simple definition! Impure sexual acts result in being burned “as in a furnance.” Fornication “BURNS” the impure or those who neglect and disobey the law of positive sexual power!

We can also see that although the furnace is also a place of TOTAL destruction, it is also a place where the power and glory of the shekinah/divine is revealed and when we obey the divine law, we can emerge from the fire without harm!

And these men, the three of them, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell into the burning, fiery furnace, bound. Then King Nebuchadnezzar was bewildered and stood up in haste. He shouted and said to his leaders, "Did I not cast three men into the fiery furnace, bound?" They answered and said to the king, "The king is true." He called out and said, "Behold, I see four free men walking in the midst of the fire, and there is no wound upon them, and the form of the fourth one is like [that of] an angel." - Daniel 3:23-25

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they [the Apostles] were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit... - Acts 2:2-4

When we study the esoteric and learn how to work with the fire, we are not burned, however, those who reject the law are burned in the furnace. To fornicate is to abuse the fire of the Holyghost that dwells in the temple of the body. The creative power given directly to us from the Most High, sexual fire!

Whosoever is born of G-d doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of G-d. - 1 John 3:9

When we speak of esoteric understandings, we understand that fornication means to make heat whereby the seed leaves the body through voluntary orgasm! ANY VOLUNTARY ORGASM IS THUS FORNICATION, regardless to who it is between and yes even in the case of masturbation!

A man from whom there is a discharge of semen, shall immerse all his flesh in water, and he shall remain unclean until evening. And any garment or any leather [object] which has semen on it, shall be immersed in water, and shall remain unclean until evening. A woman with whom a man cohabits, whereby there was [a discharge of] semen, they shall immerse in water, and they shall remain unclean until evening. - Leviticus 15: 16 – 18

To fornicate means to spill or to get rid of the sexual energy through orgasm! Those who “deny themselves” restrain the sexual energy and “walk in the midst of the fire” without being seared because they restrain themselves and restrain the sexual energy by renouncing the orgasm! They remember and keep hold of the G-d in them and therefore do not defile themselves with the animal passion for we are the temple of G-d and it is Holy.

This is the reason that many took a vow of sexual abstention in order to prepare for marriage in which they would have sexual relations but NOT release the sexual energy through the orgasm

When Paul said ...they that have wives be as though they had none. - I Corinthians 7: 29, this is what he was referencing. He was not saying not to be married but that they keep hold of the energy provided to them by not FORNICATING (intentionally having an orgasm).

It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment. For I would that all men were even as I myself [who already fulfilled the duty of marriage, and had transcended the need for it, for there are two kinds of chastity]. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is good for them if they abide even as I [in chastity]. But if they cannot contain [their sexual energy], let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. - I Corinthians 6: 1 – 9

Marriage is therefore sacred and it provides a way through which we can transform our sexual forces and still attain purity!

So therefore, a fornicator is someone who is sexually active with orgasm, however, if that same individual changes the custom and stops ejaculating, he then transforms himself into someone who cannot be called a fornicator because they no longer expel their seed.

UNDERSTANDING THE GNOSTIC'S VIEW OF SEXUALITY AND MASTURBATION
The reason that they didn't want to reach the peak is because most of them were Gnostic! Whether we want to agree with it or not, the Synoptic Gospels are all Gnostic texts that's why they have so much stuff removed from them! The whole concept of reincarnation is only found in one place in them but that's one of the places that they missed when they were editing the text!

Gnosticism is the understanding and the search for knowledge, it does not presuppose the "Word of G-d" over the knowledge that can be seen, understood, and lived! In any case a Gnostic does not hold on to antiquated ideas and ideology that makes no sense based upon the culture and time period while remaining true to study and understanding of Scripture and of life!

Further, when a man doesn't ejaculate it causes his kundalini to rise which is the inward expression of inherent G-dliness so to speak...it's like the expression of the self and gives you the opportunity to really become in tune with G-d! It also makes you more proactive as well as efficient! There are specific breathing techniques that must accompany this which forces more oxygen into your system...like for instance usually when someone is getting close to that moment their breathing gets very shallow, the opposite is true of tantric sexuality! The breathing gets deeper and longer and the release is not ejaculation but it is the release of stress (you know how when you don't it affects how you feel), anxiety, fear, procrastination, unforgiveness, etc...

Which is why it was easy to practice, they knew and understood what it was all about, we have been kept away from a lot of the teachings because Edom wants to control people!

MY THOUGHTS AND RAMBLINGS ABOUT THE SUBJECTS AT HAND
I personally do not think that masturbation is bad, I actually think that masturbation is a good thing for many men! As a matter of fact in marriage counseling I tell men & women to spend time alone touching and rubbing on their own bodies so they can tell their mate what they like and to not be afraid to be sexually open to one another! Sometimes sit totally naked and just look at one another and even sometimes do what you do but do not come to the climax point but give one another the chance to experience one another and themselves! Further, it's not healthy for a man to never ejaculate biologically speaking which is why years ago people would have about 30 or 40 kids (5 with their wives and the rest with a plethora of women) because they were more healthy than many of us today and that kundalini was high! The healthier we become the more voracious our sexual appetites become!

I personally believe people can do what they want to! Having a marriage certificate does NOT mean that someone is married! If people want to have "pre-marital" sex I think that's fine but know that there are consequences so of course they should definitely KNOW that they are going to be together! That's the reason folk end up with sugar in their tanks and busted out windows! A few moments of pleasure for a woman is emotionally attaching, for men it's just a nut, and then you have women who are becoming more masculine now and just want to use men and for them it's just a nut and the men are made to now feel inferior! That's usually the one the man falls for unfortunately because she's been hurt by so many other men she doesn't have the emotional capacity to be in a relationship or to give him what he needs outside of the fetish component that most men want in a woman (which is why he fell for her in the first place)! She was like a "dominatrix" and then kicked him, most men LOVE that type of stuff, most women can't stand being like that because they don't know how to be that and a submissive woman!

I teach women how to do that and be that and giving her man what he needs and likes and desires, even some of the things that women don't like to do...give your man a weekly or bi-weekly treat...no reciprocation required! Women need to harness the power of their femininity and take control in a feminine fashion every now and then just to let their men know "BAE I got you and I'mma rock ya world, don't think Shelitta next door got it going on 'cause today I'mma be your little nasty slut!" Of course after the nasty sluttiness, cook that man a MIGHTY HOMECOOKED MEAL then FEED IT TO HIM, draw some bath water, wash him up, and put him under the cover 'cause if you did it right, HE'S GOING TO SLEEP! Further when he wakes up in about 30 minutes he's gonna come looking for you while you're trying to clean up and one of two things are gonna happen: 1) he's gonna put you on that counter and love on you like no tomorrow or 2) he's gonna make you stop doing what you're doing and come get in bed and be thankful for who you are and all the benefits you bring into his life!

See people need to learn to harness the energy of sex and sexuality and stop treating it as if it's a bad thing! Live life to the best of your ability and until you study, leave it alone, it's nothing wrong with saying I don't know, I need to study! This is the stuff people don't like to deal with in bible study but this is what bible study is all about right here!

G-d Isn't a Prostitute and doesn't Need a Pimp - REPOST

Matthew 6: 33 (Emphasis added - mine)
"But seek ye first the kingdom of G-d, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

I would first like to offer a few definitions at this juncture...
"kingdom" coming from the word basileia which means "the right or authority of rulership"

"righteousness" coming from the word dikaiosyne which means "integrity or correctness of thinking"

So this verse could be rendered...
"But seek ye first (primary/before) G-d as he has authority & right of rulership, and all his integrity/correctness of thinking; and all these things shall be added unto you."

As I look at the state of the religious institutions of today with all of its "name it and claim it" doctrines it reminds me of the time LOOOOONG ago (well maybe not that long ago) when the HOLINESS was the way and not of fashion or fame but was a place of humility, poverty, and power & authority!

Do not misunderstand or misinterpret, I do not believe that we should take a vow of poverty because I desire things just as much as the next person, however, in my desire for things: my desire for G-d far outweighs and reigns as a primary force within my life!

The ministry of time past was a ministry that wasn't trying to make a name for themselves, they weren't trying to say look at me, come to this to hear me preach, they were simply living according to their convictions and trying to get other people to understand them! No I don't necessarily agree that telling someone they are going to hell is going to get them to change, sometimes we have to allow people the opportunity to live in hell so that when they come out they come out as pure gold!

Many people think that being humble now makes G-d smaller but in a sense being humble doesn't make G-d smaller but from my perspective, it makes G-d LARGER than life itself!

Matthew 6: 33 has a attitude attached to it but we invoke into the essence of that verse something truly different...an entirely different Attitude!

So often we rush past the PRIMARY AND PREVAILING thought just to get to the "stuff for me!"

We rush past tarrying on the alter, we rush past fasting (and not the Daniel fast neither), we rush past worship in our personal places and we don't worry about praise when we publicly assemble ourselves together: all in the name of getting the "stuff" that G-d has prepared for us!

Yes, those things are for us on the predication that we seek G-d and His correctness of thought but we don't want to simply DEDICATE OURSELVES to G-d! IT SHOULDN'T BE ABOUT THE STUFF THAT COMES ALONG WITH IT, IT SHOULD BE ABOUT G-D! The stuff shouldn't even be expected or looked for, it is G-d who we should be expecting!

As I was on my way to a meeting early in the morning and something popped out on the radio about G-d being too good and this is the thought that developed...We use G-d as if G-d is some kind of prostitute and the preachers of the Gospel are the pimps who pimp G-d out for one night stands just so people can get some "stuff!"

And of course the pimps can't go without, so on the premise that if you follow this formula G-d is going to bless you, now you need to bless me (the pimp) for offering G-d for your single one-time use!

This is truly the state of today...using gimmick just to get people to attend and still not give them anything that can and will sustain them when they go through the storm that WILL come!

Let us learn that G-d cannot be found by some formula but you must PERSONALLY develop a relationship with HaShem!

The Devil Made me do It (Old Post)

I will begin by saying that I am indeed a "monotheist" meaning I ONLY believe that there is ONE and ONLY ONE God! Those who read this who are not monotheistic to the extreme will probably NOT receive this writing! However, to others who are seeking for truth and authenticity, you will probably receive this writing with clarity, understanding, and want more!

I will secondly take note that I am controversial in nature, not because I want to be but because the Church of God is in shambles, reckless, lazy, ignorant, and is dire need of some truth to come back into the building along with the leading of the Spirit of God.

I do not claim to be some infallible source, neither do I claim to be someone who knows everything! You may censor me, you may question me, you may even kill me, however, I will not be deterred!

Now, on to the writing!

God created mankind like Himself who was free to make choices and this freedom includes the choice to disobey (as we see with Adam, Eve, and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil - we will discuss this).

This "disobedience" is then assisted and developed by an entity of "demonic" activity, and enemy of mankind instead of the man and woman choosing to imagine gaining the attributes of God - to be in knowledge!

Can we not see that as they sought to be like God, so do we because we keep gaining knowledge and understanding and nobody speaks out agains the acquisition of knowledge! This is a quest that is a typical part of human nature and human history. Just look at how the Jewish people wiped out entire clans, colonies, and people's! It is said that this ordained of God, I'm going to say that I do not believe that God EVER wanted people to KILL anyone! It goes against anything that God does! God is pro-life and yet he tells people to go KILL because they are heathens! No, they kill because they want the land, they want to acquire, they want to be and acquire the Power of God in their lives!

This is called the "FALL" of human history. This would also help us conclude that the serpent was the duality of satan who Adam and Eve BOTH chose to obey INSTEAD of obeying the Lord God. Could this be the issue of Adam and Eve both being Satanists? If you were to think about it for a moment, I had a Satanist friend in highschool who was extremely different but for some reason, he knew who I was, I knew who he was but we had a bond and we talked and discussed so much with one another! Of all that we discussed, our most interesting topic was that of Satanism and Christianity! His views of Satanism were no different than many atheists I now know and modern Satanists who are on a quest for reason! What is the logical reasoning of not wanting to "know" and to understand? To be like God? Many Christians need to ask themselves that self-same question...why are you seeking reasoning and logic when it is akin to usurping the authority of the Most High and stimulating us to be obedient to this charlatain!

It is at this point that we have two supernatural beings contesting for influence of all humans! It is said that the good always overcomes the bad, however, if we look at how we treat the situation, it would seem that the bad overcomes the good!

LIES, ALL LIES! (That's cute, I did that for drama sake)

As this is not an eyewitness account, I would like to speculate to you that this is an underlying explanation of human nature with the conclusions being that there was never a "fall" and no such thing as "original sin." It is as a friend would say a "Monotheistic Tale" used to get a point across about people and the way that we address issues in our head!

Truth be told, it is a story that acknowledges monotheism (ONE GOD)! Speaks about a good world and perfect creation which would remins as long as man chose to be obedient to God and operate within the world freely!

We are given prophetic warnings throughout scripture that the ultimate goal for the world and mankind is to attain "Eden" once again. It is clear that all needs are not taken care of and that life is began by travail and continued as a struggle from birth to death!

There is NOTHING present about the serpent winning the souls of Adam and Eve, neither was the world given over to this serpent at this time. In the end, we have God present and in control to do what he pleases! We humans are left to the CONSEQUENCES of our own actions: we choose to obey or disobey! Adam and Eve then had to live with the decision to make their way in the world outside of paradise!

People are always saying, "it's because of satan that we have this and that and if it wasn't for satan we would still be in a perfect state" and usually they are dualists because they are the ones who immortalize satan! The developing theology is that there has to be a perfect person to substitute for the first mistake! Doing that one simple act, we have deified both sin and the creature to whom blame is placed and declare IT (satan and sin) as the RULER of the creation of God.

I stand boldly and say that ALL creation belongs to God and we have no power to make deities of any other thing!

If we truely take a look, as people who are monastic, we have little room for an actual belief in a supernatural entity that seeks to overthrow God's creation! Yes there is mention of rebels against God, but who stands before God and yet can overthrow him! He is the CEO of the Universe!

We are commanded to acknowledge NO other Gods and by being a force that can coerce men to do their bidding must be considered as gods! So even though there is a "devil" it is MEANINGLESS in regard to our faith in God. We should not be acknowledging anyone or anything as the influencer of our lives! THIS IS IDOLATRY!

Staying true to monotheism, I personally give no room for anything RULING ME!

Because of the dualistic nature, we end up shifting responsibility for our issues and deny our total responsibility as the free agents that GOD created us to be with FREE WILL! That is the reason that there is a "devil" talk in a dualists speech, you can say "THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!" That just like saying, "I'm a perfectly created being but I'm caught in an evil world where the devil influences and forces me to do bad things." So, you can also say "I've accepted Christ and so therefore, I do only good things now because of Jesus."

NO, you do bad things in a good world because U WANT TO DO THEM! Jesus doesn't stop you from doing the bad things because you know all you have to do is ask for forgiveness and God is faithful and just to forgive your transgressions!

IT IS TIME TO GET REAL!

Decide if you want to believe that you are and ignorant pawn caught up in a game and being possessed by deities at war or instead you are a part of a good and Godly creation with the intellect as a thinking coherent being capable of making decisions!

As the devil is the antithesis of God, this can only be understood by dualism and therefore all of creation must therefore be interpreted in that light as well!

GOOD & EVIL

The problem with this is that is denies the fact that God created this universe as GOOD and gave us the free choice to isolate ourselves from GOOD! I believe that when God created this universe, it was created without end and created in a good and purpose-filled way without mistakes, without evil. The only evil is a form of human denial or ignorance of how to deal with the perfection and purpose for which God created all things. It is our ABUSE of the created world that brings this "evil."

Yes the Bible speaks of other gods. The gods of other tribes of people! Do you actually believe that these gods really EXIST? The devil is used as a control tool for people! Think about that! Do something "bad," and the first thing someone will say is, "you're gonna burn in hell for that." Even to the point of speaking about salvation in the Church, "come to Jesus while you still have a chance to or you will burn with the devil forever." Or even our parents, when we did something we probably shouldn't have, "the devil is going to get you" is usually what someone may say! We still use the devil as an enforcer to coax people into doing what WE want them to do! Not what God is telling us to do, or telling them to do, but what WE want to do!

Does the Bible not say that God would write HIS LAW upon the tablets of our heart and give us a heart of flesh and remove our stoney heart? The control should be INTERNAL and not EXTERNAL! If someone has to make you be good, the whole point has been missed. "Do this, or we will kill you; do this, or the Devil will get you; do this, or burn in torment forever." Whoever says things like this has only ONE rationalization in mind: to control! The Bible calls control WITCHCRAFT!

We need to begin accepting responsibiilty for our own actions and stop giving the devil UNDERSERVED credit for being the great antithesis of God! This type of thought process gives rise to liars being spawned as young children as well! It is because of the devil in the home that children learn to lie and make up fairytales about something that may have happened while the parents were out!

We learn everything about dodging the blame and not accepting the consequences of our own actions!

This ministry is helping people to understand that you ultimately make the decision to do right or to do wrong!

So the next time u want to say, "The Devil Made Me Do It." Go and take a good look at yourself in the mirror and look at the devil who is making you do something!

Jesus said, I am the door, on the same account we must first realize that we are also the door (dalet) to the blessing of G-d and it is through our righteousness (or our conscious power to actualize potential) that we draw down the consciousness of Love and actualize Love in people by teaching them that they are the door to actualize potential! It is cyclical!

So, we must first deal with the concept of “me” and we must accept the “me” that G-d says we are and not the “me” that man says we are!

2) Be Honest and Transparent
If you’re a liar, be truthful with that, you are a liar but if you apply the concept of “me” to being a liar, you will see the benefit of transforming the lower self that hasn’t come into the realization of the consciousness (which is a liar) into the higher self which says, I am a liar but on a higher plane I am a bond and a connector! How so you ask! Well I’m glad that you did! If you connect the higher purpose of the lower self you understand that the liar is able to be conscious to the thoughts and desires of others thereby making them perfect connectors! When you transform their lies into truth, they will be able to connect people with truth and understanding because they understand the concept of “me” from the outside perspective! For instance, I’ve never been a good liar but if I wanted to be I could because I know how to identify the concept of “me” in other people and can call out their understanding even when I couldn’t do this for myself!

3) Set Goals and Plan your Life
Now that you have identified the concept of “me” and understand that to release is to actually “give birth,” you can move on to the next phase of setting goals and planning your life!

It is important to realize your potential because when you realize your potential you are released from fear. When you are released from fear, you are not setting something aside, you are actually gaining the wisdom of focus.

SIDEBAR: We have to stop thinking and attributing so much to losing! When we fast we focus on what we are “giving up!” It’s the same, so many people think that when they “release” they feel they have to give something up! That is the wrong focal point! When we understand what release is, we understand that we are giving birth to the reality of who we are not in potential but within actualized potential! We must stop attributing negative words with positive potential and positive words with negative potential! Our potential energy, whatever it is, becomes our actualized function and that either lowers us to the level of an animal without any scrupples or raises us to the level of angels who are obedient to the command of the Master.

So, we now understand who we are and what release means so we can begin to set goals and plan our life! We can begin to write the vision and plainly see it because it won’t be hindered by the negativity of who we once thought that we were! Since we have come past our place of disconnection and inability to continue, we can inspire and motivate ourselves to HONESTLY set goals with a time stamp on them!

Not only do we set goals and plan our life in this step but we solicit those who we trust and those who know what it means to release and who understands the concept of “me” so that they help us to stay accountable to who we say that we are and that “me” that we are being. Not who we are trying to be…remember me is to consciously actualize the potential! To be conscious sometimes takes markers and rulers and people are the best markers and rulers especially when they are setting goals and planning their own life!

If you can show me a person who refuses to set goals, I can show a person who doesn’t understand release neither the concept of “me” and are living life oblivious to their surroundings and their potential!

Also please keep in mind that we are not only to set goals for material possessions but, we must set goals that lead to the success of our spiritual selves. It is the goals of EXPERIENCE that we set for ourselves that helps us to further actualize the potential of material possession!

3A) How to Set Goals
a) You have to decide what you want first of all. The problem with so many people is that they do not know what they really want. In other words they are not at all clear about what they want in life. Setting your goals, needs you to make a decision about that which you want, and determine when you want to have achieved that thing. In other words you must put a deadline to what you currently want. Get clear about what you want.

b) Have a good plan of attack. Ask yourself:
What do I know about this?
What information do I have?
What information do I need? Where can I get it?
What skills do I need to master?
What other resources should I use?
Is this the best way to do it, or is there some other way?

c) Start small, but keep walking. Goals don’t necessarily have to be big ones. When you set your goal too high, you might find it too overwhelming and time consuming and just give up, or make another one, just as big. It’s akin to quitting cold turkey – there are setbacks.

d) Set goals in small increments, complete with time, dates, amount, some details. If you tell yourself, “I’m going to be an opera singer” and then sit around and wait for it to suddenly happen, you could be waiting all your life. Start with singing lessons for a month, and then a year and expose yourself to opera music. You can then progress to more singing lessons year after year. By breaking down your goals in smaller, workable units, you are more likely to make them come true. Remember, even the great ones had to start somewhere.

e) Be positive when stating your goals. Instead of saying, “I am not going to miss my exercise routine today,” say “I’m really busy, so I’ll probably just make time for 20 minutes on the treadmill.” Stating your goal positively will help you view it as a good thing to do, and not as a byproduct of what you had to avoid.

f) Spread out your goals. So maybe we do have certain general goals that apply to all areas of our lives like, “I want to be successful” or “I want to be rich” but those would seem as far away as the Niagara Falls viewed from Hawaii. Instead, try making tiny goals for different aspects of your life, one or two for each, even more if you like. These areas are: family and home, career, social, physical, mental and spiritual. If you say, “I want to be a successful dad,” then try to make goals towards the development of your family life while still keeping an eye out for ways to improve your career and other areas of your life.

g) Don’t underestimate yourself. It’s tempting to sometimes just slack off, or let yourself off too easy. If you want to write the definitive American novel, then don’t try to churn out just a page or two a day when you know you are more than capable of writing five pages, even ten. The fear of failure is sometimes to blame for setting our goals too low. How often have we said, “I don’t really want to volunteer for that project ‘cause I might screw it up. And then my colleagues will make fun of me.”

h) Remember that some fears are unfounded. How do you know you’ll actually ruin it? And how do you know for sure your coworkers will laugh at your effort? If you try to reason with your fears, more often than not, you’ll realize that there really is no reason for you to be reluctant and that in fact, you can do it.

i) Putting your goal down on paper is more than just memorizing it. You are actually confirming your willingness to make it come true. A written list of goals is an effective reminder of what you need to do and once you’re done, a good review of your accomplishment. A simple list on a piece of notebook paper is fine, or using a computer program to really jazz it up works just as well. You may want to hang it up somewhere, as a constant reminder to work toward your goals: inside your closet, the back of your medicine cabinet door, or on your bulletin board near your desk

j) Affirm it. Affirmation is really more than writing down, “I am going to buy my $750,000 home by Christmas” twenty times. It’s actually being conscious not only of your thought processes, but also of your acts during the day.

k) If you’re trying to save money and then you pass by a shop window where a great pair of shoes seems to have your name on it, think, “If I buy those shoes, would I be making my goal of saving easier? Will I be able to meet my deadline if I splurge just this once? A few months from now if I don’t meet my deadline because I didn't save enough, would I feel good about it?”

l) Stop procrastinating. So you’ve heard this before. Big deal. Well, it is. Time wastage is one of the greatest crimes in history. If Henry Ford put off studying and tinkering with machines for another time, someone else would have improved on automobiles and he wouldn't have gone down in history as a pioneer. If you’re used to procrastination, being bullheaded about a goal can seem scary at first. Try to set a schedule and then reward yourself each time you meet it.

m) Start inculcating the habit of liking something. The most difficult thing is to LIKE something useful. For example we may like that particular model, star, lazing around with friends, to impress the opposite sex etc...but do they give us any long term returns? They just look jazzy for a small period of time and again life is as usual, that which has no achievement. .Our mind generally rejects any conscious attempt to focus on any worthwhile goal. Some really lucky souls subconsciously liked these worthwhile goals and made it big. Many of us focus subconsciously on these petty things such as entertainment, celebrities etc...and when time comes for focusing on big ones we back out because we have an already loaded negative image of that goal. It is simply a misinterpreted relativity. No reason to feel worthless before a big goal just because we have been LIKING petty goals. You need to think big, when you are setting goals, think great thoughts. You must also crystallize your thinking, make it clear to you first, then write it down.

n) Plan ahead, so you can get ahead.

4) Don’t Forget to Remember
Never forget who you have learned you are neither where you come from! It keeps us humble and restrained to not repeat mistakes!

5) Explore the Inner Workings of You
Only you really know who you are so explore that and don’t sell yourself short!

In the Image of G-d

And the L-RD G-d formed man [of] dust from the ground, and He breathed into his nostrils the soul of life, and man became a living soul. - Bereshit/Genesis 2: 7

The accepted reading of Genesis/Bereshit 2: 7 is a very straight-forward and easy way to see life and how our “progenitor” Adam became a living soul, however, what if the story goes deeper than that which we’ve been taught? What if Adam (the representative of humanity) didn’t become a living soul but, instead was made to become the representative for what humanity could become if endowed with a living soul?

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?

The difference in these two scenarios is paramount to our understanding of Scripture as we know it. It is plausible that searching this question out may change, correct, and even discredit some of our views concerning who is a person and who is not! What constitutes “personhood” and what discredits the same! Conversely, this may seem totally outlandish and actually somewhat heretic to many people! Whichever stance you take, READ, STUDY, LEARN, AND TEACH!

THE ACCEPTED VERSION - Adam Became a Living Soul
In the accepted version, humanity (all of it) became a living soul, not in the context of animation but in the context of intellect because G-d endowed this Adam with a soul that was alive and therefore given the ability to think, act, do, and become whatever it desired to become. No longer was Adam a wanderer, Adam no possessed purpose!

Of course we know the story of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and there was punishment for the offense, however, I must question the validity of what we have come to call “THE LIVING SOUL” within that context!

“Why would a “LIVING SOUL” knowingly kill itself? Does the LIVING SOUL have a will of its own that is different from the progenitor of its life and can therefore choose NOT TO LIVE and incorporate death into its existence? Does it have the RIGHT to do so being that its life is not based upon itself but upon a sustainer of its life: G-d?” If indeed the LIVING SOUL was lost by Adam because of disobedience, then what was the purpose of HUMANITY/Adam becoming a LIVING SOUL? If the LIVING SOUL can be imputed to us, how can disobedience to the LIVING SOUL be removed if it’s not something that we asked for in the first place? How can we be disobedient to the LIVING SOUL (it is because of it that we have life)?

Due to the fact that we are like our progenitor, we inherently also end up with a need to gain more of G-d because of Adams inability to keep his LIVING SOUL alive! In this account, Adam’s soul dies and is separated from the love and consuming power and presence of the True and Living G-d and is in need of a redeemer! So we are thus born with a soul that longs after the reconnection with the divine so that we may once again become a “LIVING SOUL.”

Does anyone see the problem with that besides myself?

The problem with this scenario is that ADAM DOESN’T HAVE A LIVING SOUL, HE BECOMES A LIVING SOUL! To become is to begin and consistently act in accordance with what and who you are! If one acts in opposition to who they say they are…THEY ARE NOT WHO THEY SAY THEY ARE, THEY ARE WHAT THEY DO! Not only are they now what they do but they are a liar as well because they present contrary evidence of what they claim of their character.

I am not a theologian because I say I am one! I am a theologian because I take Scripture and analyze and dissect it in order to gain from the contextual and literalist applications stemming from the selected periscope.

Adam did not possess a living soul, ADAM BECAME A LIVING SOUL and therefore is unable to NOT be a LIVING SOUL and by being a LIVING SOUL, he would not die or choose death because he was a LIVING, INTELLIGENT and LOVING SOUL WITH PURPOSE!

THE HERETIC VERSION - Adam Has a Living Soul
In the heretic version (my favorite by the way), Adam does not BECOME a living soul but instead, Adam becomes the CONTAINER for the living souls operation! This also allows the fact that Adam must GROW AND BECOME AND HOLD HIMSELF ACCOUNTABLE for allowing the Living Soul access to himself! In this version also we can understand that the LIVING SOUL was not simply forced on Adam but was something that Adam desired because he could see the benefits of possession of a LIVING SOUL.

Now, of course, this is predicated on these “facts…”
1) Adam was not the first “person” but was the first of his kind (a representative)!
2) There were other people on the planet during this time.
3) These people had BEINGNESS BUT LACKED LIFE!

Some of you may not agree with these terms so invite you to continue to read or tell me I’m a heretic and blacklist me! Whichever you choose will be fine by me!

What is the purpose of Adam being a conduit/entity for the LIVING SOUL? The purpose of Adam being a conduit was to FULFILL THE PROPHECY OF MAN BEING MADE IN THE IMAGE OF G-D!

וַיִּיצֶר יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶת־הָֽאָדָם עָפָר מִן־הָאֲדָמָה וַיִּפַּח בְּאַפָּיו נִשְׁמַת חַיִּים וַֽיְהִי הָֽאָדָם לְנֶפֶשׁ חַיָּֽה

Vaiyitzer Yahweh elohim et ha'adam afar min- ha'adamah, vaiyippach be’appav nishmat chaiyim; vayhi ha'adam lenefesh chaiyah.

“And the L-RD G-D formed a corporeal being [dust from the ground], and blew in his nostrils [changed his countenance with] a living breath and the entity/container for the living soul became alive/animated.” - Bereshit/Genesis 2: 7

In this understanding we break down the words of this verse to be more accurate with the construction and constitution of what this verse is actually saying (NO I DON’T ACCEPT THE TRANSLATION OF THIS VERSE AS GIVEN)!

When we look, we see that G-d formed something: a corporeal being. NOT FROM the dust of the ground but man is indeed the dust itself! When we understand that concept, we look at the dust and the millions of particles of dust in a scoop of dirt! This verse is saying that when He (G-d) made this corporeal/touchable being, he made him into the very building blocks of who all mankind is.

With that being said, I go into a point that is not well received by the religious community! This element of “person” or “humanity” was a BEING! It moved around, it fed itself, it protected itself, it was an entity of survival. For all points, it was the ANIMAL OF HUMANITY! It was not a monkey or anything of that nature, it WAS the ANIMAL OF HUMANITY that was intellectually deficient due to ignorance (not due to the inability to become an intellectual being)!

This corporeal being is not simply one person but is representative of the WHOLE of humanity! So…G-d BLEW IN THE NOSTRILS OF HUMANITY! Understanding, to blow in the nostrils of humanity means to change the countenance of humanity: when the countenance changed, ADAM/HUMANITY could make decisions that would further his understandings of life and about himself. Humanity was now able to love without bound, construct and retain meaningful and lifelong relationship, embrace the responsibility of morality, and to be rational in its mindset. HUMANITY had to come to some points of growth and had to actually acquire the desire to become the image of G-d in the earth.

The BEINGS before ADAM (and including Adam) did not have the moral consciousness before the blowing in the nostrils with the LIVING BREATH.

CONSCIOUSNESS DOES NOT DENOTE MORALITY, CONSCIOUSNESS DENOTES BEINGNESS (i.e., I KNOW I EXIST)

When the moral consciousness was released to change Adam’s beingness, social consciousness and responsibility became available and plausible. What this means is that Adam could now understand and comprehend right action from wrong action and would therefore be able to make right decisions based upon the moral fiber of who he was ABLE to become! Understand also that just because Adam had the ability to do so, doesn’t mean that he would choose to do so. Why not? He still hasn’t fully developed what it means to be in the image of G-d and still doesn’t quite understand who he is in relation to the changing of the countenance! He is undergoing an evolutionary process of mind.

So now Adam/Humanity which is the CONTAINER for the LIVING SOUL is now animated! What does this mean? This means that through the evolutionary process Adam is now able to think and rationalize, his world of confirming the prophecy of creating man in the image of G-d is showing forth.

Within this version, that means that G-d has formed a container for His power to actualize and realize itself in the realm of manifestation! His purpose for breathing the life force into man is being actualized by the performance of His power in the life of Humanity!

So How Does this Affect Me?
This is to say that there are those who are NOT part of humanity! There are left a segment of “beings” who are not a part of humanity because they don’t possess the breath or the LIVING SOUL given to HUMANITY by G-d! They deny the LIVING SOUL and attempt to RECREATE the LIVING SOUL within their own conceptualizations of reality!

So you ask how does it affect you? I ask you…are you sure you have the LIVING SOUL or are you the manifestation of copy cats who have learned how to fake it?

Adam is a human because he has the LIVING SOUL. The others are simply beings who are without soul and cannot reveal truth, knowledge, or love! All of their actions are motivated by becoming greater in the eyes of man and forsaking the way of G-d as they say that G-d didn’t mean that, he meant this…

The Scripture says…”LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE YE THE L-RD.” It is a command, however, I present to you, everything that breathes does NOT have breath!

Those who have breath have learned to submit to rulership of Ruach Ha’Kodesh the Soul of Life that comes and invigorates the essence of life and activates life within the HUMAN in which it lives. We ultimately are own own ascension or demise! We can choose to submit to the LIVING SOUL and fulfill the prophetic word to become the image of G-d or we can choose to live without it and thereby disdain the Holy One and REFUSE to become the fullness of who G-d has made possible to be!

The Art of Seduction (The Rise of Faggotry in the World)

"There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers. My son, keep your father's commandment, and forsake not your mother's teaching." - Proverbs 6: 16 - 20

There is a yoruba proverb that states, "it is impossible to hate the root of a tree without hating the fruit." In this case, that is the complete and totally honest truth. I personally detest the dishonesty of people and to be honest it makes many of us cringe at the possibility of being the next victim of deception.

Of course, let's be honest and frank! EVERYONE and I do mean EVERYONE has been dishonest about something in their lives! We have all been placed in situations where honesty was not the best policy because we possibly could have ended up homeless, beat up, black balled, or _____________ (fill in the blank). However, we aren't discussing a dishonest statement or action (it's not right either way it went, we should have enough of ourselves that we just deal with the consequences of our honesty), what we are discussing here is downright deception!

This is a subject that is near to my heart at this moment because I got a frightening call in the middle of the night a few days ago from a very close friend of mine screaming over the phone..."MY HUSBANDS A F****** FAGGOT!"

DL, Down Low, Faggot are terms that have been used to describe the essence of homosexual men and their actions! After much study and now great understanding, I don't agree with the aforementioned understanding! I don't agree because I know far too many homosexual men and lesbian women who are not "dl, down low, or practice faggotry." They are people who are honest with their partners about who they are and what they like and want and desire. This is a far cry from the "lifestyle" of those I would call "dl, downlow, and faggots."

Coming to the rationale that my friend would be able to truly explain to me what was going on when calmed, we worked on calming her down! When she was calm enough, she revealed that she found her "straight" husband (who is a Pastor) in the bed with his "straight" best friend (who is a leader in the same church). Not to mention, she later found out that this is not something that just happened, but has been going on with them since before he and she got married!

WHAT????

To so many this is a normal thing, to others this is outrageous and can't possibly be true! However, like so many things that we don't want to be true...THEY ARE!

There is now a woman (I'm sure there are some men as well) who is in love with a man who has practiced sex with other men since middle school and did not have the integrity to at least tell her about his indiscretions!

It is true that once again, we may not tell it all but surely before you marry someone and pledge your all to that individual...shouldn't the conversation of "baby, every now and then me and my best friend screw and you'll just have to live with it or not marry me" come up?

IT WAS A DOWNRIGHT DECEPTIVE ACTION OF FAGGOTRY!

Here's what I wrote the other day...

"I'm rude, crude, and equally offensive and I have no qualms about calling a faggot a faggot (a faggot in my eyes is not necessarily a gay man either)!

There are a bunch of women who are just as much a faggot as some of these men are! If you a messy no good lying deceptive wheeling dealing manipulative sap sucker who has no moral fiber or fabric to live up to...I'm sorry but you just may be a faggot (male or female, it doesn't matter)!

A man who marries a woman knowing he wants a man and didn't let the woman know that PRIOR to their marriage IS A FAGGOT! A woman who marries a man who knows she likes women and gonna continue messing with women while with her husband and not let know, IS A FAGGOT! Just like a woman who sleeps around with different men and women is a whore a man who sleeps around with different men and women is not a bachelor...HE'S A WHORE!

I'm sorry, people are offended by these terms being properly used...then let the offense come! We have to begin calling a spade a spade and not a diamond a club!"

I see all these GAY men in MINISTRY marrying STRAIGHT women who for some reason can't see the GAYNESS of their husband and then when they find out that their husband has sex with men they want to act as if they didn't know! Honestly, maybe they didn't know, which is why I wrote the other article about knowing who you are marrying!

The art of faggotry actually knows no ends for it's not just homosexual people who are faggots...there are plenty of heterosexual faggots running around DECEIVING people left and right and not feeling any qualms over there deceptive actions!

The faggots life (male or female, heterosexual or homosexual) personally fits within the confines of the theme scripture COMPLETELY...YOUR ACTIONS ARE AN ABOMINATION and ABHORRENT to the true and living G-d

It is true that abomination doesn't mean what we attribute it to mean, it is still saying that you are morally reprehensible and it is the cause of you that the world cannot function in peace and solidarity!

Yes we all have our individual issues but let us not take our issue and make them the issues of parties who need not be involved with them! So what you get called names and talked about...whether you realize or not, the faggots who are your friends are talking about you more now than ever that you've decided to go against the grain and begin to lie even the more!

To those of you who are true and sure of your sexuality and have not been deceptive about who you are, I applaud you for being honest and sticking to who you are and not bringing someone into something that they may not be able to handle if confronted with the truth!

THEOS is a word that is used in many ways, the first way is that it is a general name for a deity or even the paganistic doctrine of the trinity many times within the NT works! It can also be referencing the things of G-d such as angels, judges, magistrates or talking about the counsel and interest of G-d. In this instance we will use this as a reference to the One True and Living G-d!

Esti simply means “he/she/it is,” however, the root of the word is eimi and it literally means “to be, exist, make happen.”

Phos simply means light in the simplified terms, however, the metaphysical meaning (which is what we are working with since we are indeed speaking about G-d) of this word is “truth and it’s knowledge, reason, mind, power of understanding, capable of comprehension.”

Phos comes from the word “phao” which literally means to manifest. Phao comes from the root of Phaino which means to become evident, exposed to view and to appear in the mind as a judgment or opinion.

Phaino comes from the root word of phemi which means to make one’s thought’s known, to declare, or to say!

Kai is a primary particle and ALWAYS links something together and it means “and, also, even, indeed, and but”

En is very simple as it means “in, by, with” and it denotes a fixed position (of place, time, or state of being) so it is a place of rest and respite. It’s origin are between two words, eis which meaning “into, onto, towards, for, among” and ek meaning “out of, from, away from” and of course it denotes an action and a place of origin of motion

Autos meaning “himself, herself, themselves, itself” and comes from the particle au which comes from the base of aer which comes from aemi which means to breathe unconsciously or to blow.

Ou is a primary word that is an ABSOLUTE NEGATIVE adverb and means no as in a direct question that needs a yes or no answer, however, its origin is me and expresses a simple belief of possibility of “no” (I believe, it could be)

Skotia on the outset is the word “darkness” and it means “darkness due to there being no light, however, that is not the metaphysical term meaning! Once again, we are dealing within metaphysics as G-d is a metaphysical being! The metaphysical meaning of this word has to do with ignorance and the result of ignorance! This word comes from skotos which has the metaphysical meaning of ignorance of respecting G-dly things and human duties and the accompanying ungodliness and immorality AND the consequences of that ignorance!

Oudeis means no one and nothing!

So…using what we have from the GREEK words (not the English counterparts) and understanding the following is what this verse says…

***IN OUR REFERENCE TO G-D WE WILL BE REFERRING TO THE ONE TRUE G-D AND NOT SOME OTHER DEITY OR SOMETHING ABOUT G-D***

“…G-d makes and causes the manifestation of Himself in truth and knowledge capable of comprehension by speaking his thoughts, AND from the place of fixation and respite he begins movement and makes known/manifests absolutely positively no ignorance concerning himself or his creation.”

Darkness is not darkness, darkness is the metaphysical state of self-imposed ignorance, stupidity, and refusal to allow knowledge of G-d to open our minds in order that he be Glorified!

As stated in my original post, I yet stand by the fact that G-d is all darkness and all light and as he pours from Himself, he manifests only those things that causes knowledge and understanding of Him. We openly choose to be ignorant, it is NOT what G-d gives us but we don’t want to count up the cost and let G-d reign Supreme as King over our minds!

Isaiah 45: 7
“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the L-RD do all these [things].”

In this sense, the word create is “bara” and it literally means I put all that is and all that is not into nothing and manifest something. All of who I am and all of who I am not goes into the manifestation of a thing and in this case it is ignorance/darkness! Why then does G-d create ignorance, it is created because we refuse knowledge and understanding and the disillusionment of ignorance has to be created in order that knowledge will one day prevail by the people who refuse ignorance and search out truth!

Am I right? I don’t know! Am I wrong? I don’t know! Does this promote people to think…YES!!! Please do not misunderstand me, I don’t care to be right or wrong but I care that people refuse ignorance and see things from a differing mindset! In order to understand the construct of something, we must understand how to deconstruct that structure in order to reconstruct it in the image of G-d! Darkness is not a bad thing when deconstructed and placed in the confines of rational thought and understanding! Darkness is simply ignorance, how do we combat ignorance, with the light of G-d, refusing to allow the ignorance to reign and allowing G-d to reign by replacing ignorance with knowledge and continuing to deconstruct all things that the clarity may be manifest!

Why Was Darkness Separated from Light?

Bereshit 1:4 says “G-d saw the light was good and G-d separated between the light and the darkness.” This was yet on the first day of creation and the Midrash (Babylonian Talmud) explains that before G-d separated the light from darkness th...at they both jointly existed together and served the world at the same time! This is why when G-d separated the two it created day and night.

Rashi (Rabenu Shlomo Yitzchaki) our sage and leader writes that “G-d saw that the light was good” and that it was not fitting for it to be mixed together with the darkness and He therefore assigned one of them to the day and one to the night.

The only place that light and darkness can fully function to its optimal capacity is in the world of immaterial existence. It is within the Ain Sof Aur (Infinite Light) and Ain Sof (Infinite) only that light and darkness can truly exist within and without one another totally dependent and totally independent of the other yet functioning within the parameters of itself while intermingling the parameters of the other! The reason that these can function within one another in these realms is directly related to the truth that there is no creation in these places within the Most High! There is nothingness and allness completely separate and completely together, completely dormant and completely active all at the same time! It is then that we come into existence as MAN from the crown (Kether) which is the first level and optimally the highest level of existence which is right under G-d! This is alluded to in Joel 2:28 where G-d speaks of pouring out His Spirit…His Spirit meaning life, manifestation, and existence!

Thus when G-d is pouring out Himself, He cannot cause the active and inactive, neither the dependent and independent to exist as it does within who He fully is! So the more He pours out of Himself, the farther the separation of His total essence! This is why it is said that nature shields G-d because although it is comprised of G-d, G-d still is supra-imposed above it, hence, He has poured out His Spirit and the separation of the ALL of Himself becomes apparent and experienced in life!

So…what is the cause of all this and the reason behind it? Light cannot co-exist with darkness. If we go to the Hellenistic reign, it could be compared to the the Midrash about primeval darkness mentioned in creation and they attempted to blind the light with darkness! We say in our V’al Hassanim prayer that their goal was not to destroy us as Haman attempted, their goal was to “cause us to forget Torah and abandon our fulfillment of the commandments of G-d” and in order to do that we had to accept their pagan Hellenistic culture heavily influenced by the idolatry of the Greeks and Romans. So the selection to prohibit certain mitzvoth was in effect such as Shabbat and Hebrew holidays. Near the end…they (the Hellenists) CONTAMINATED all the contents of the Holy Temple (Beit Hamikdash) in order that the darkness of paganism and idolatry could function along with the light from the Israelite nations!

The message of Yah separating the light from darkness in the beginning of creation (manifestation of G-d outside of Himself) is that we must be careful and we must work to prevent the forces of darkness (ignorance, laziness, stupidity, haughtiness, violence, lack of faith in G-d seen by inaction within social justice, etc…) from being able to exist upon the pure light found in the Torah of the True and Living G-d!

So when Yah says, let there be light and says that we are a light to the nations, a lamp on a hill not to be hidden, He is calling us to our very best and is saying don’t allow the impure thought to pervade your life and your mindset, instead set your thoughts to the higher planes of existence and to rid ourselves of the impure and unclean thing!

When G-d separated this at the beginning of creation, He was making a statement that we are to be separated as well and not to allow this to operate in our midst for light and darkness cannot both exist and operate fully (independently and dependently) outside of His non-existent self!

Is Shacking a Sin and What Does It Mean?

On the real though...I see things from a differing viewpoint!

1) I got married young and married a "FOOL"
2) We didn't live together neither were sexually active before marriage
3) After we got married and moved in together he lost his mind!
...
My counsel to people is that you should live with your soon to be spouse for 3 - 6 months BEFORE you make that commitment and walk down that aisle and say I do! Let people say you shacking all day long, LIVE WITH THEM because the person you get on the day-to-day basis where you're not in that personal space is NOT usually the same person you gonna be living with!

I use myself as an example, I need alone time and personal space or I get really ummm "not nice" I'll say that since there be some sanctified folk on here! Of course when you are married the first 2 - 3 months is honeymoon but after you want some private time, personal space, uncling time, YOU WANT TO BE ALONE AND LEFT ALONE! The problem is that you are married, how do you cope and deal with that fact! Each marriage is different and must be discussed and assessed the truth is that most people say nothing and it gets bad really quickly!

Ok, so back this other stuff! I tell people to live together for that period because that way you at least know what you'll be getting yourself into and you should still have 3 - 6 months to get ready for that or call the whole thing off! Hopefully you'll deal with it! Also, yes you move back out for the remaining months before your wedding LOL!

You have to allow people to show you who they really are before committing to a fool in disguise!

I also tell them not only to discuss sex but possibly doing some foreplay or even some sexual activity! Let me be clear and honest! I do not advocate sex outside of covenant, however, I am also not of the belief that a covenant cannot exist between two people who are getting ready to avow to the covenant before people that they have already made with G-d! So does a marriage license mean a covenant, yes, does two people without a marriage license who have gone before G-d in a private ceremony between the two constitute a covenant...YES! Now I would honestly say this should not be happening no more than a month before the wedding!

Yes there are people who will wait which is fine! There are also others who will say that it takes away from the night of honeymoon and that may be true but if you get into a marriage and waiting to avow before people and some sexual positions and understanding are not had, worked, discussed, and tried, your marriage may be failing, leading to divorce, infidelity, spousal abuse or all the above!

Also, you should KNOW what you like before you get with your soon to be...touch yourself and tell them what you like and how you like it and if they can't deal with it and unwilling to try it they may NOT be the person you need to marry!

So people call it shacking, I call it making wise decisions that will empower your marriage to be long and prosperous!

Why Did Cain Kill Abel?

Since this is my very first post, I would like to preface my post with a tad bit of an introduction concerning hermeneutics and then from there I will go on with the rest of my personal understanding and my study concerning this issue of Cain, Abel, and death.

First and foremost, I must say thank you to the creator of this group for the boldness and audacity of character for founding and allowing a group of this nature to exist in order to truly not simply utilize the current ideology of teaching but allowing us to study extra-biblical scholarship in order that we may look for understanding and ideologies that have traditionally not been considered because of it not being “biblically” based. I personally don’t like that fact as most people have never heard of I & II Esdras or I, II, III, or IV Maccabbees but in the 1611 KJV they were Scripture, NOW, they are nowhere to be found in the interpretation neither amongst the Scripture of the Bible itself! So, I do thank you Mr. Thurman for allowing yourself to be used as a willing vessel of Yah to gain insight, clarity, understanding, and most of all the ability to discuss as rational adults would! My goal is NEVER to be right, however, my goal is to be a person of pure conscience and free from mental obstacles and strongholds that have been placed on our minds to keep us in a place of bondage and fear!

Secondly, I will say that I do not ever come from the “fact” of regurgitated “truth” instead, I choose to do as II Timothy 2: 15 says, “Study to shew yourself approved unto G-d, a workman not being shamed (or causing shame and reproach upon the truth), correctly teaching and separating truth from farce and fiction.” With that, I must say that much of what I say will be “new thought” but understand that all of what I say are based on years of study, interpretation of the Hebrew Law, and understanding from the “active/demonstrative” standpoint (Hebrew) rather than the “passive/descriptive (Greek) mindset.

Speaking of hermeneutics…these types of questions that provoke discussion of biblical values and understanding always will point to what would be considered a “hermeneutic awareness;” wherein, this awareness of your hermeneutic view is accepted and lived and even embraced by you, however, this may not be the final understanding of a passage but should lead to a person spawning in the light of humility in interpretation while encouraging all faith traditions (especially those similar and congruent to our own) to become a united front against interpretations of truth that may lead to people not getting a grasp of life! All understanding of Scripture should lead people from death to life and never the other way around! We must become humble about our own conclusions based upon our own hermeneutic awareness while not dismissing another because of theirs.

For instance, the historic-cultural context of this Scripture in question is always preceded by the literalist-scientific understanding that many of us use for hermeneutic exegesis/eisegesis of Scripture. Due to that, we must become “hermeneutically aware” and admit that it is possible that we take ALL of what we know (baggage and all: wrong thought) in order to interpret Scripture and will at times lead to a “mis” understanding of the Scripture at hand because it is tainted by thought’s that weren’t even present in the original writings! Hermenutic awareness should lead to a greater humility for other viewpoints which may differ from our own while we yet are able to hold on to and live within the context of our own hermeneutic understanding. This allows us to foster unity and peace amongst all faith traditions and helps us to reduce unhealthy dogmatism that so often plagues our churches and assemblies.

So why did Cain kill Abel? Our question more pointedly is what “MADE” him do it! Of course we have seen the text and many people assume jealousy, however, this is not what the text specifies. The hermeneutics and interpretational analysis from the contextual clues gives us the assumption that Cain murdered Abel due to jealousy…THIS IS NOT WHAT THE TEXT SAYS SPECIFICALLY!

There was definitely a clear motive as is stated in Scripture, Cain was angry because G-d preferred Abel’s sacrifice and out of “jealousy” he killed him but Genesis 4 does not use the word jealousy.

Genesis 4: 4 – 7
“And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And Hashem/Yah had respect unto Abel and to his offering; but unto Cain and to his offering He had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. And Hashem/Yah said unto Cain: 'Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shall it not be lifted up? and if thou doest not well, sin coucheth at the door; and unto thee is its desire, but thou mayest rule over it.'”

The reading of this would have us to primarily understand that the expectation is that Cain has to control himself and the anger from within before he takes things entirely too far. Of course this is more conjecture based on the words of Hashem/Yah to Cain, however, Cain like his father and mother rejected the wisdom of the divine as we see in verse 8 that Cain kills Abel in the field.

So, due to anger that sparks jealousy Cain has murdered his brother, however, as we began this we must question…WHY? There is ALWAYS an underlying principle when anger is present and then we must ask was that truly the best solution to the issue? So now, let us go to context and textual criticism so that we may find a response to this question of why did Cain murder his brother!

Genesis 4: 1
“And the man KNEW Eve his wife; and she conceived and bore CAIN [qayin], and said: 'I have GOTTEN [qaneh] a MAN [‘ish] WITH THE HELP OF HASHEM.'” – CAPITALIZATIONS ADDED BY ME FOR EMPHASIS

In order to understand what Cain did to Abel, we must first understand who Cain was (his character and innate abilities). The first thing to take notice is that Eve (Chavah - Breath/Chayah - Live) says calls her baby a “MAN.” Of course ‘ish can mean quite a few things in the Hebrew language but BABY is never one of those things and although she could be referring to him as “human,” however, this is quite an unusual way and our sages of course presumed a hidden meaning in referring to a newborn “baby” in this manner. ‘Ish could also be indicative of the “abilities” that Cain possessed as outline in the Life of Adam and Eve 21: 3 (an extra-biblical book) “And she [Eve] bore a son and he was lustrous. And at once the infant rose, ran, and brought in his hands a reed [qaneh] and gave it to his mother. And his name was called Cain [qayin].”

We also note that the end of Genesis 4: 1 says “with the help of Hashem” but the Hebrew says “’et-Yahweh,” meaning simply with G-d so by hermeneutic analysis we can see that he may have been born and endowed with abilities that would’ve seemed special for an infant his age as the book of the Life of Adam and Eve point out to us with him running at once after his very birth!

Now, the one that G-d gave special abilities to at his very birth is also the first murderer, there must be more to the story! Of course what I’m about to say may mess some of you up, others it may upset you, yet others of you will actually go and research for yourselves! Once again, I’m not trying to get to the right answer but we are discussing plausible understandings from hermeneutic analysis and while respecting one another we may come to differing conclusions but here we go!

Let us first begin that the serpent and Eve were having a casual conversation in Gad Eden. We must question why they could have such a casual conversation without the intervention of Yah or her husband! Could it be possible that it was because Eve and the serpent had been in some sort of relationship (as many biblical interpreters surmise), which is why he could talk and con them into eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil as a jealous act against Adam? I know WAAAAAAAAAY out there but many biblical linguists have come to this conclusion as well!

In Genesis 4: 1, “Adam ‘KNEW’ Eve” and of course many believe that “knowing” is a euphemism meaning sexual relations (after all she had a baby after right), however, some interpreters of Scripture understand this from a more literal understanding and say that “Adam perceived something about Eve,” basically what she had been doing.

In Targum Pseudo-Jonathan (an extra-biblical writing) we read that Eve conceived Cain by Sammael (a “bad” angel) and in Pirqe de R. Eliezer, the comment is that the serpent himself impregnated Eve and that Adam’s knowing was in reference to him “finding out” or “perceiving the truth” about her true character and actions! Tertullian says that Eve was made pregnant by “the seed of the devil” and the Gospel of Philip speaks about Eve committing adultery with the serpent which was a union that led to Cain becoming a murderer.

I John 3: 10 – 12
“In this way, the children of God and the children of the devil are made plain; no one who fails to act in righteousness belongs to God, nor anyone who does not love his brother. For this is the message you have heard from the beginning: we should love one another, unlike Cain WHO BELONGED TO THE EVIL ONE and slaughtered his brother. Why did he slaughter him? Because his OWN WORKS WERE EVIL, and those of his brother righteous.”

Could this verse be directly related to this understanding that Cain himself was the seed of the evil one as it specifically states? Could it be possible that the writer of these verses of commentary be referencing this preceding story because it was well known to him?

From a Hebraic standpoint, you "do" based upon who you are! The verse here says that even the works of Cain were innately evil as he had hatred in his heart and therefore he sowed not righteousness but evil! It was his responsibility to overcome his innately evil position as Yah says that it was possible!

This understanding of Cain helps us (as Hebrew Israelites) to understand that we can overcome the yetzer ha’ra (the evil inclination, the spirit of negativity) IF WE DESIRE TO DO SO! Cain did not desire to overcome the negativity in his heart, many of us do not either which is why we want to disclaim everyone else and make ourselves look high full of piety and righteousness with the appearance of being right but the truth is it is not about being right, it is what makes you FREE?

Once again, some of this may be just a bit much and have no theological basis, however, when we look at certain details of the text and appeal to what they are bringing out is a commonality amongst biblical hermeneutics.

We are not always given every detail to make a clear and permanent decision concerning the text and we can see that in the interpretations that differ even amongst us but we all try to fill up what we don’t understand based upon what is there (and oft times what is not there neither thought of at the moment of transcription).

This yet leads to more questions, some of which we will never have an answer for but I am of the notion that pondering questions period opens us up to receive the authentic Spirit of G-d as it becomes more precious to us and as we submit to His authority in the earth!

Give Up Your Animal!

Leviticus 1:2
“A man who shall bring near of you an offering to G d, from the beast, from the cattle and from the sheep, you shall bring close your offering . . .”

This week we begin with the communication of the laws concerning the korbanot which are the central service offerings of the sanctuary. When we look at this we begin to understand that the offering that G-d expects us to bring is of course an extension of who we are!

First, we must see that the verse does not say “a man of you who shall bring…” instead, it says “a man who shall bring near OF YOU…” The offering under this understanding according to the sages is that the offering is a direct result of who you are and is indeed an extension of you!

Understanding that who we are is not human but we are first and foremost mind! Man is not his body, man is his mind, whether the mind is operating in this realm or the higher realms of glory. Within “man” there is the conscious, subconscious, superconscious, and supraconscious aspects which ranges from what we can think to the very souls of who we are: the immortal soul and of course the soul of the animal.

The immortal soul is the portion that G-d breaths into and invigorates with life! It is the part of the “man” that is always reaching upward to the True and Living G-d. It gravitates to G-d because it is the very essence of G-d and it’s source of power, motivation and understanding is G-d! The only thing this soul is sure of is it’s love, appreciation, and devotion to and for G-d and constantly seeks to lose itself in the Allness of the Almighty G-d! The only thing that this soul is interested in doing is study and doing Torah because that of course is how we find and understand the Holy One and attach ourselves to His consuming Love!

The animal soul is the soul that Adam shared with every other creature before G-d breathed into him and made him a living soul! This soul is the soul of the wicked, the soul of the ones who seek to overtake and overthrow the power of G-d! It is the soul of the self-driven and it’s only fulfillment is the physical needs and desires of itself. This is the soul that says, there is no G-d besides me, I am the master of my own life and I have nothing higher to look forward to! This is who Adam was before G-d put “mind” into him! This is who we all are before G-d puts mind into us and we become living souls!

When a person brings this offering OF THEMSELVES as a gift to the Most High G-d, it means absolutely NOTHING if the individual refuses to bring the animal of self and sacrifice it on the altar along with the animal being sacrificed to the True and Living G-d!

We cannot simply claim that the ritual slaughter of animals only point to something that is to happen in the future (i.e., the death of Jesus)! The ritual slaughter had so much more to do with us transferring ourselves and becoming that sacrifice that we put on the table to offer to G-d and burn away all our iniquity as a sweet smelling sacrifice to G-d! If we refuse to sacrifice ourselves…then ALL of our ritual is NULL AND VOID!

Today, are you giving your animal to G-d and allowing the essence and presence of the Shekinah to rule and direct your life or are you deciding to keep your animal and giving sacrificial offerings for only the sake of the people so that your appearance of sanctity and Holiness remains intact while the true essence of who you are is a liar, murderer, thief, and ultimately…AN ANIMAL?
