We found decent parking here because we got here early. We had a big salad and fried shrimp and steak. I guess folks need to go back to school to learn what a salad should be. This TA had more fixings than the last place we ate, but still, salad bars lack a good selection of veggies anymore.

The parking lot is clean, and the cashier I dealt with last night was top notch.

Spent the night here, and rolled in about 530pm. Trucks were already jamme din here like sardines! I went for the food but the salad bar was in poor shape. Nothing good there at all, just lettuce and beets, and a few types of noodles! So much for a colorful and healthy salad! I did have the ribeye steak, and it was pretty good though:)

Dirty parking lot, but overall, the cashiers were doing their jobs ok.

This truckstop is at the intersections of IH71 and US35/SR435. Good location for a truckstop. If you are headed for a delivery or pickup in Cincinnati, you better stay here since there is nothing closer to the city until you get south into Kentucky.

Decent parking, so-so clean parking lot. Overall decent store, but it is one of the older truckstops, so they have so much merchandise crammed in every aisle and it is more like an obstacle course, you'd have a heck of a time getting out in case of fire! LOL

Tight turning to get into the fuel islands then a narrow uphill climb to where the parking is located. Once ya get to the top, you have more than enough parking to choose from:)

I did not eat there, but the coffee was good, and the cashiers in the main store were courteous. The store and parking lot was very clean.

Pretty decent size Pilot with three rows of parking. It is kinda tight getting from the fuel islands to the parking spaces though. Good coffee and friendly cashiers. Clean store. Not too bad for a Pilot Truckstop.

This is an older TA truckstop where they crowded everything in so tight you can barely walk down an aisle without knocking something off a shelf! LOL

I went in to check out the food, and when I saw the salad bar, I knew I was not going to eat there. The salad bar consisted of a lettuce bowl, cucumbers that looked like they got run over at the fuel island, two types of jello, pudding, and I forgot what else. For a "salad bar" they sure did not have the good stuff like ham, veggies, cheese, or anything. There is no way they could call that anything close to being a salad bar. I looked around, and there were two customers eating, and two waitresses sitting down doing nothing. That is a good indication that business was slow...and i can see why!

Parking was ok, plenty of it to around to get a good night sleep.

Very crowded parking lot here as usual. Pretty small truckstop here, but if you are lucky enough to find parking, the store itself really is not all that bad. God coffee and creamers, the cashiers have always been nice. The breakfast buffet sure smelled good! LOL

Well this place is one of those truckstops that if you do not get here by noon, you will have a hard time finding a parking slot. Very narrow dragway, so when two trucks are trying to pass each other, there will be a traffic jam if somebody is trying to back into a hole.

The store itself is good, nice and clean and friendly folks here. Excellent coffee anytime I have been through here. Decent parking lot and fuel pumps. Except for parking, this is one of the better Pilots.

Not a bad place here at all here off WI Route 8! Pleanty of coffee and very friendly cashiers make the difference. Dirt parking lot so, no problem finding parking.

The store is kind of small and old style, but nothing wrong with that at all.

Pretty decent TA here. Plenty of parking, good clean lot, even a clean store!

They had great coffee creamers, plenty of coffee available. There is quite a bit more here than your normal TA/Petro. I think this is one of the privately owned TA's is why it seems better. LOL

Nothing to complain about here, good store.

Loves - Des Moines, Iowa

This used to be a Flying J truckstop that I stopped at when I rolled through town here. It was then sold to Love's during the Pilot/Flying J merger. I just got a cup of coffee here, and even though I don't like the taste of Love's coffee, they do now have Hazlenut creamers...an improvement.

The inside of this store has been gutted and now it looks exactly like any other Love's. They still need to do something about offering FOOD to the driver besides just hotdogs!!

This is the only truckstop in the Logan area. Not much for parking with only about 15 spaces available. Very clean store, lots of good food and very nice cashiers! Clean parking lot, good showers and TV room.

Walker's - Kanab, Utah

This small truckstop is pretty decent. It is right on US89 on the east side of Kanab. It closes at midnight, but opens back up at 6am. Not much for food, but it does have a Wendy's.

Parking for about 15 trucks. Good, clean place. Good coffee!!

We have been here a few times this year, not much different. They did have plenty of coffee, and I did not have to wait in a long line to check out...but then it was the weekend, so not many truckers were there.

The bananas were literally all brown and rotting in the basket, and when I asked the cashier if she would buy one of those like that, and she told me "No, but we are not allowed to throw them away either". Go figure. 89 cents for a rotten banana!

I think this is one of those truckstops where they forgot to design parking! The building is just fine, but the driveway both IN and OUT is as wide as needed for two trucks, nothing more. Then, they stuck a curve in there that makes a truck coming in or out need the whole curve......so if one truck is coming in, and one truck going out at the sametime, you better take turns!

Decent truckstop, standard, nothing great, nothing bad. They had what I needed which was good coffee.

Standard Flying J here, except right now they are replacing all the fuel island pumps for the new DEF pumps. Plenty of parking here, so really hard to figure out why so many truckers have to park together right in the driveways! LOL Good coffee, Good cashiers. Not a bad place to spend the night.

Decent place here, the biggest in this area. EXCELLENT cafeteria style food. Fantastic looking pies, and all the food has been delicious everytime I have stopped here.

Parking is not bad, and for years they provided 2 hour free parking, and charged $10 for overnight parking. Now, they tore down the guard building and it is free parking everywhere! WooHoo!

Plenty of coffee, cashiers are ok. The ones that helped me this morning were more interested in talking about spending their tax refund with each other than helping customers!

On Interstate 70 in Oakley, Kansas, I have seen this place numerous times but never stopped here before. This sure is a NICE truckstop! Everything you need can be found right here from light repairs to a Blue Beacon truckwash. Excellent store with huge selections of everything to feed your hunger, nice big flat screen tv and comfortable chairs and couches.

The store was incredibly clean and several cashiers were at the register ready to ring up your stuff and get you on your way.

Plenty of parking all around the building, nice clean parking lot and well lit.

I will be stopping back by here if the need arises!

Rude people! All three times I went in there, the cashiers were rude as could be!

The parking has plenty of spaces, but the lights in the parking lot barely lit the place up. As a result, I had my door knocked on by "lizards" at least TEN times!! Even this morning, in full daylight, several personal vehicles were roaming the lot and the lizards were walking from truck to truck.

Overall, a clean store, just the people working inside need a little bit more training in customer service, and it would be real nice if management did not allow such activity to go on in the confines of their property.

Out in the middle of nowhere is this truckstop. Plenty of parking and also has "overflow" parking.

Not really much for food in the store, but they do have a restaurant located next door. The night crew was pretty friendly, but the morning cashier sure needed more sleep or something! LOL

The store is pretty small, but a quick walkaround the aisles, and you could probably find what you need to get you back down the road.

The TV room had only a chair or two, but good thing since nobody was watching TV. Why? Well, the TV was as pink as pink could get. You could barely tell shapes muchless anything else!! I told the cashier about it, and they really did not seem too interested. Oh well.

Flying J (Formerly Bosselman's)Big Springs, Nebraska

Well, this makes the third Bosselman's truckstop that I noticed changed over to either a Pilot or Flying J! I suppose that Bosselman's has sold out!?

This used to be one of my favorite stopping places. It always had alot of shirts, tools, and different things to do and look at. Good food, a Little Ceaser's, and Subway. But when I walked in tonight, the place has gone to the dogs. Literally. It now has Flying J signs all over it. The hallways have marks and holes where the Bosselmans signs used to hang. Every stitch of clothes is gone. All the aisles of good stuff is now gone. Just a few shelves are available...and all stocked with the SAME junk Pilot sells in EVERY SINGLE STORE! No variety at all. There was nothing but plywood up where the Subway and Little Ceasers Pizza used to be.

I am really disappointed that Flying J has completely taken away what I loved about coming to this place....the VARIETY - different from every other truckstop. Even the free internet has disappeared.

Not sure why a name change meant they had to take away all the good stuff, and leave it with nothing useful.... lol Oh well, perhaps it is just temporary, we will see what happens.

Pretty decent place here, standard truckstop here. Same ol Pilot merchandise, nothing special or new to look at or buy. Everything is the same. Decent parking, good coffee. The store was halfway clean. Dirty floors, but guess there is nothing you can do about customers tracking in the snow. LOL

It sure is nice to do business with a truckstop where folks are actually nice and smiling!

This Flying J is definitely run by a top notch manager! Everybody was all smiles, greeted me, the store was spotless, everything was fully stocked both times I went in there. Coffee was fresh and I did not have to wait to get new made. :)

Plenty of parking, easy maneuvering around this wide lot.

This is a pretty good truckstop! Plenty of parking and some really great folks! They had all flavors of coffee fresh anytime I walked in there. I had a meal at their cafe, and I was pretty happy with that as well. They had the cheapest prices on bananas, and even power inverters! I would stop here again without hesitation!

Bosselman's Grand Island, NE

Not really a bad truckstop here. Plenty of parking, Lots of chrome and stuff to buy inside the store if you are looking to spend some money. My only gripe about this place is the few times we stayed here more than 24 hours, the cashiers are almost always grouchy! It seems none of them really want to be working there, and when I go buy coffee, there are long lines. Perhaps they need some cashiers that want to work, and can move fast enough to get the lones down some.

Free internet here. They do not honor Pilot points for coffee, showers, or anything.
