Sometimes on Reddit people say „This is an unpopular opinion – So an so”. Of course, this is a pre-emptive defense. „Now that I said that this is an unpopular opinon, as long as I’ve acknowledged this, I can say whatever I wish”. I don’t like this. It looks like you are aiming for popular opinions. It makes me think that the default would be „I want to say things that are a popular opinion”. I don’t want to say only popular things. I don’t want to focus on the popularity of my opinions, but on the truth of them.Unpopular opinion

În anii 1992, Michael Jackson a avut un concert în România. Rețin expresia folosită de fani: „Michael, we love you!”. În perioada respectivă, îmi placea muzica lui. Îmi cumpărasem niște măști de carton care îl imitau pe Michael. Aveam și cartea scrisă de La Toya Jackson (Michael, Me and the Rest of Our Lives: La Toya Jackson, Patricia Romanowski). Cartea m-a întristat, nu m-am bucurat să o citesc. Am mers să văd Michael (2026) cu așteptările setate de carte – îmi place muzica lui Michael, viața lui e însă complicată. Am regăsit un cântăreț foarte vulnerabil, deschis și prietenos, uneori agățat de copilărie. Filmul m-a întristat, și în același timp mi-a plăcut. Mi s-a părut un film greu, dar în același timp mi-a plăcut să descopăr mai multe. PS: Mi-a plăcut cum a jucat actorul care l-a interpretat pe tată, foarte credibil.Michael, we love you!

I was most recently reminded of the no phone movement at Ronnie Scott’s, the famous jazz bar in London, where I was told no photos were allowed. As someone who doesn’t feel the need to document every moment of my life but loves photography, especially for capturing big life events, I was slightly gutted I couldn’t take a picture for a friend’s birthday. Of course, I could have brought something more discreet like Meta Ray-Bans to sneak a shot (not that I own a pair) or simply snapped a pic outside on my film camera, but that raises another question entirely: should there be exceptions? 1 din 3 angajați spun că e foarte probabil să schimbe locul de muncă în următoarele 6 luni. Intenția de a pleca crește de 3 ani consecutiv: de la 3,3 în 2023 la 3,9 din 10 în 2025. Ponderea angajaților care raportează majorări salariale s-a înjumătățit față de 2023. 3 din 10 angajați declară că pachetul de beneficii a scăzut față de 2024. Moralul echipelor înregistrează cea mai accentuată tendință negativă din ultimii 3 ani. București, 28 aprilie 2026 — Echilibrul dintre angajat și angajator s-a erodat vizibil în ultimii trei ani.
