Redshift for Revit: Now available, Redshift for Revit brings Maxon’s production-proven rendering technology directly into Autodesk Revit, helping architects create high-quality design previews, photorealistic renders, and presentation visuals with greater speed and creative control.   • Non-Destructive Texturing (Node-Based Workflow): No more limitations of classic pixel painting! Now you can create materials, masks, and effects using a visual editor (Node Editor). Any element, including rust intensity, base color, glossiness, or scratches, remains editable at any stage of your workflow. Change parameters and instantly observe the result on the 3D model in real time.

BadFX from badedits showed up in my feed today and I think a lot of you will find it useful in speeding up your workflow in Premiere and After Effects. It includes assets, some free and some paid, but the part you’ll love is the text and animation presets and transitions. I just downloaded it so I haven’t tried it out, but Costin, in the video to the right, loves it.

Pixel Lab is giving away some useful and fun Ancient assets in their free 3D Gaussian Splat Model Pack. These antiquities and ecofacts include a some prehistoric skulls, a crown, an ancient knife, some statues, and more.

The Ancient Assets, created by Spenser Dickerson, come as .spz files, which work great in many programs such as Octane Render. If you need a .ply file for After Effects or other apps, convert the files for free in one click with Super Splat.

How to Download the Ancient Assets

In order to download the model, you’ll need to register for the Pixel Lab newsletter. You’ll get these models as well as hundreds of other 3D freebies!
