The recent years Apple has taken the world with storm with iOS for iPhones and iPads. Apple not only introduced the smartphone as we know it today and tablets; they also invented the concept of “Apps”, and changed how people use software and games. If you work as a professional designer, you will know that you can never get to many icons in your collection. The more sets the bigger diversity you get in your designs, and by that you leave a greater impression on your clients. An alternative but very useful source for working with icons is icon font sets. When icons are delivered as a font, they scale as vectors and their size and color can be controlled in e.g. web sites using the CSS font size and color properties. This makes icon fonts quite powerful and great for making interactive web designs.

Though many web designers prefer using free icon resources and icon sets you can easily find some cool icon fonts that does not cost that much however they give you a larger variation in your design and differs from the designs everyone else are using.
