“Lord, what is man, that you take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that you are mindful of him? Man is like a breath; His days are like a passing shadow” (Psalm 144:3-4). David also said, “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For you have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, All sheep and oxen—Even the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is your name in all the earth!” (Psalm 8:3-9).

Lesson:

Human beings are the most prestigious creation in existence. God who is the creator of the universe has decided to specially make humans look like himself. While God spoke and authorized other creatures to miraculously come into existence, he engaged in actual labor to create a human being. God stooped down and used his hands to mold clay and form man’s head, arms, nose, and other body parts. He also prostrated close to the ground so that he could breathe life into the motionless man he had just created. A man came to life, and he looked exactly like God! Meanwhile, God also shared his dominion with a man that he has created, and he commanded him to take control of other creatures. Isn’t God wonderful to man and his descending generations?

God has done remarkable things for the generation of human beings, and everyone ought to be appreciative of him. God has demonstrated his special love towards us, and we ought to be grateful to him! All people should praise God because he has chosen us to be human beings and not animals! Since God has honored us this much, we should honor him also. Every human being should thank God for whom he or she is.

Prayer:

Dear God, I thank you because you have created me as a human being. I understand that you could have created me as a chicken, and someone else could have eaten me for dinner. You did not make me a fish that another fellow could have preyed upon. You created me as a human being, and you decorated me with grace, beauty, and honor. I must confess that you are such a wonderful Creator! I love you so much, and I appreciate your works. Hence, I will spend the rest of my life appreciating you. I will praise you in the morning and in the evening. Not only that, but I will also faithfully serve you for the rest of my life. Please uphold me to faithfully serve you unto the end. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

Lesson:

The believers of Jesus Christ need love to operate in unity. In fact, Jesus demonstrated this when he specially prayed that God binds his disciples together in love (John 17:11). Meanwhile, all Christians are expected to make significant efforts to promote love in the fold of Christ. Different denominations are expected to shun pride, lay their differences aside and work with others as a team – for the purpose of promoting the gospel. Different denominations, doctrines, and gifts may signify different parts of one body that scripture described (1 Corinthians 12:12-26). No matter the form of differences, all Christians are one body under the umbrella of Jesus! Therefore, we must walk and work together. We must seek the welfare of one another and we must pray for each other. The body of Christ must unify to ensure that the gospel of Jesus Christ is preached to every part of the world. The church must promote God’s standard of righteousness in the land.

Prayer:

Dear God, please bind the Christian body together in unity. Let both the church leaders and their members submit to you. Let denominations subject their private doctrines to bible standards; let all churches and brethren join their hands together to promote your righteousness in our lands. Let the church prioritize gospel evangelization, and let them intensely engage in it so that unbelievers throughout the world can have the opportunity to be saved. Please do not let brethren fail you anymore, but let us actively and faithfully serve you so that we can be blessed on earth and in heaven. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make all these requests. Amen.

“O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; you understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it altogether” (Psalm 139:1-4).

Lesson:

Anyone who thinks that he can successfully hide from God’s presence is joking. No one can hide from God, since he is present everywhere, and he knows all things. In fact, God’s eyes see clearly in dark places, and his presence is predominant where no human being can survive. Since God is such a powerful being, all people ought to fear and submit to him. Everyone should be conscious of the watchful eyes of God before engaging in any action. (God will judge and reward all things – whether good or bad!)

Prayer:

Dear God, I realized that you see and know all things, and you will judge all things. Please help me to satisfy you with my thoughts and actions, so that I will not sin against you. Give me the grace to satisfy you in everything I do, so that I can prosper in the land of the living. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

Lesson:

Everyone who suffers for the sake of Jesus Christ would be rewarded in heaven; everyone who endures trials and persecutions for his sake will receive the imperishable crown of glory in heaven. Any tribulation that a Christian faces today would not last eternally, but it would soon end, and it would be considered as a sacrifice for the sake of the gospel. God will reward every sacrifice and compromise that someone makes for the sake of his kingdom. Therefore, it is a worthwhile effort for all Christians to endure brief pains and remain steadfast in Jesus so that they can receive prestigious rewards from God. Meanwhile, Jesus has promised not to abandon his believers during trials, he would empower them through the Holy Spirit so that they can have victory (John 16:13).

Prayer:

Dear Jesus Christ, please help me to remain steadfast in faith so that I can be crowned in heaven. Empower me through your Holy Spirit to be diligent and keep your testimony until the end. When the end comes, let me receive a warm welcome in heaven, and let me partake in your holy banquette. Amen.

“Help me, O Lord my God! Oh, save me according to your mercy, that they may know that this is your hand—That You, Lord, have done it! Let them curse, but you bless; When they arise, let them be ashamed, But let your servant rejoice. Let my accusers be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own disgrace as with a mantle” (Psalm 109:26-29).

Lesson:

God is a strong refuge in time of need; he will provide and protect his children who cry for help. No matter how terrible a battle may appear, God will bring it under control. He will convert curses to blessings, and he will transform oppressions to promotions. Meanwhile, children of God are expected to be proactive in their prayers and express their trust in God, so that they can enjoy God’s benefits to a full extent.

Prayer:

Dear God, I understand that you are a strong fortress for people who reserve their trust in you. Therefore, I call on you to defend my interest against the wish of the enemies. Subdue my foes, and give me upper hands over them. Let Satan and all his agents stumble in their evil imaginations. Meanwhile, I ask you to bless me, shield me, and give me peace that is beyond human comprehension. Let me live every day of my life in victory. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit” (John 15:1-2).

Lesson:

As far as Jesus is concerned, there are no excuses in heaven for unfruitful Christians. Every Christian must diligently yield positive rewards for the kingdom of God. The followers of Jesus Christ must be courageous to face and subdue any odd that challenge their faith. No Christian should submit to oppression, since he or she must preach the gospel. Gospel evangelization is essential; it is God’s commission and every Christian is commanded to engage in it. The scripture clearly expressed, “I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry” (2 Timothy 4:1-5).

Prayer:

Dear Jesus Christ, please help me to remain diligent in your service. Help me to preach the gospel and bear fruits for your kingdom. Give me the grace to endure all persecutions, and empower me through the Holy Spirit to lay excuses aside and diligently serve you. Anoint and give me the grace to be an instrument that you will use to depopulate Satan’s kingdom and populate your kingdom. Let me serve you well on earth so that I can be qualified for your tremendous heavenly rewards. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

Lesson:

God is the most powerful being in existence and he can do whatever pleases him. Despite his magnificent power to severely punish sinners, he has decided to show mercy and forgive anyone who would be humble enough to say “sorry.” God will forgive and restore any sinner that pleads for his mercy; he will also empower the fellow to pursue righteousness. How amazing is it to discover that God would not immediately exercise his magnificent judgments over sinners? Instead, he would express his love towards them, and grant them an opportunity of repentance. Jehovah would widely open his arms to receive repentant sinners, and he would forgive their sins. Moreover, God cannot forgive any sinner without a sacrifice, and Jesus Christ has already offered the sacrifice! Hence, any sinner who repents and expresses his/her faith in Jesus Christ – as the true Son of God – shall receive forgiveness of sin and be saved. The fellow would also receive everlasting life in heaven.

Prayer:

Dear God, I am sorry for all my sins, and I repent from them all. I give you my life today, and I confess my faith in your Son Jesus Christ that he is Lord. I believe that Jesus died and resurrected to give me eternal life; I confess my faith in him, and I accept him as my personal Lord and Savior. I promise to faithfully serve Jesus Christ throughout the days of my life. Amen.

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:1-3).

Lesson:

Christians are the smartest people on earth because they have invested in their future. Jesus Christ has guaranteed eternal life for his followers; anyone who confesses Jesus as Lord would receive beautiful mansions and other adorable assets in heaven. In fact, saints would rejoice in heaven, since they would completely forget their pains, and they would live happily with God forever. However, it is unfortunate that people who reject Jesus’ offer of salvation on earth would not have a portion in heaven. They would have their portions in hellfire, where they shall be everlasting torments.

Prayer:

(Place your right hand unto chest, and make the following declarations)

Dear Jesus Christ, I want to go to heaven since hellfire would be too hot for my likening. Let me go to heaven so that I can live in beautiful mansions and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. I am making my confessions today: I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and I confess him as my personal Lord and Savior. I give Jesus my complete heart, and I promise to serve him throughout the days of my life. I renounce the devil and all his evil works. I confess all my sins and I forsake them. Henceforth, I am a born-again Christian and I will remain so for the rest of my life. Amen.

“Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. But let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly” (Psalm 68:1-3).

Lesson:

God has enemies, and his enemies are people and forces that harass Christians. The Creator will not kindly deal with the enemies, but he will go to any length to defend his interest in the lives of his children. When God fights a battle, people are dazed, and the outcome outburst everyone’s mind! Therefore, children of God should reserve their trust in God; they should call on him to defend them in times of trouble.

Prayer:

I challenge Satan to stop messing with me because I am carrying God’s fire! I subdue all enemies’ influences in my life in the name of Jesus Christ! Since I am a child of God, my battle is the battle of God, and my enemies are God’s enemies. Therefore, I invoke the power of God over every harassing situation in my life, and I command them to melt like wax melts before the fire. I declare wars over my enemies, and I forcefully lead them into confusion. I destroy their plots and I render them powerless. For I have invoked these declarations by the authority in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
