Patricia Field, stylist to SATC, The Devil wears Prada, and lipstick Jungle etc,etc. Sex and the City turned high-end shoe labels like Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik into household words. But not every Sex fan can afford to buy pumps that can come with a four-digit sticker price.

Needless to say, not everyone can afford $700 shoes, she then turned her attention to design a budet firendly collection for Payless Shoes. As long as they dont foam in the rain, we are cool.

Her new Capsule Red Carpet Collection for Payless is finally in stores.

The limited-edition holiday line includes edgy metallic and snakeskin platform shoes and boots and big-screen-worthy clutches. And even if you don’t plan on walking the red carpet any time soon, you can wear shoes that have, with a pair of metallic heels just like the ones Patricia Field wore to this year’s Academy Awards. Prices range from $20 - $35 and you may actually end up feeling guilty.

She claims they are as good as Monolos. “I love some Louboutins and some Manolos,” said Field. “But personally, it kills me to spend that kind of money on a shoe. I’m much happier getting a shoe for less money that looks gorgeous.” Hmm!! I understand, but last time I bought a pair of shoes at Payless (like 10 years ago) and there was a little drizzle, the shoes kinda started to foam at the corners.

Lisa Presley sues over "fat story"

Is this the new trend? Celebrities are getting really ticked off by their weight stories. It all started with Tyra or was it Kirsty Alley, then Jennifer Hewitt and now this? Really, truly, so what if they call you fat? Does this make you a lesser person? I think not and therefore I fail to see what the issue is.

Cashing in on fat seems to be the new way to go. Sue for damages, gain publicity, go on Celebrity fit club and revive your going nowhere career or.... be the spokesperson for Jenny Craig.

LONDON - Lisa Marie Presley has sued a British newspaper for alleging that she was piling on the pounds because of her unhealthy appetite, her lawyer said Monday.

Presley, who is pregnant, alleges in a suit filed at London's High Court on Friday that the story in Britain's Daily Mail was slanderous and degrading. The newspaper has since reported on the 40-year-old singer's pregnancy.

"Once they got a glimpse of my expanding physique a few days ago, they have been like a pack of coyotes circling their prey whilst eerily howling with delight," she said on her blog.

"It really upset her," Presley's attorney Jo Paton told The Associated Press. "She was about to announce her pregnancy and was shocked and hurt by the unkind article about her appearance."

Paton said Presley was seeking an apology and damages.

The Daily Mail said the first indication they had of Presley's complaint was when they were served with court documents.

"We are investigating the matter," the newspaper said in a statement.

I get asked this question a lot. How do I dress for a small waist but my thighs are heavy. My first thought at this point is that one must always emphasize ones assets. In this case - a small waist. Chances are you have either an hour glass figure or you are pear shaped and you are in perfect company.

Jeans - Perfect for pear shapes are hipsters- Yes, we all "hate" them, but they are actually perfect for a few body types.Any pair of jeans with a low-cut waistband will make your bottom look smaller. Make sure the jeans are boot-cut, as these styles will balance out heavier hips and thighs. Jeans should be dark - steer away from light colours and paler 'washed look' jeans as these will do you no favours. Finally don't be tempted by denims containing stretchy materials such as Lycra as although these may seem more comfortable they will accentuate your problem areas below the waist by clinging to hips and thighs. Follow these guidelines and we think you will find your 'pear-fect' pair of jeans!

Suits - Fitted suits work amazingly well withthis body type. Skirts - that start to flare gently away from the body work wonders as well. The fabric should be soft jersey. Dress- should hug ever so gently at the waist e.g Shirt dresses

Jackets are actually perfect for this body type as well.
