A petition for the removal of the remains in the Middleton/Foister Cemetery  filed 11 January 2022 in the Chancery Court for Washington County Tennessee at Jonesborough. They are searching for descendants of Tarlton A. Middleton. The contact lawyer is Joshua A. Hardin, 3863 Highway 19E, Elizabethton, TN 37643.  423-542-0200.

The remains are to be taken to Fairview Cemetery, Jonesborough, Tennessee.

We have recently been informed that Liberty Church of the Brethren Cemetery is in Washington County. Charles Ford transferred the data to me and I’ve uploaded it on the Washington County page. The church is in Sullivan County but the cemetery is in Washington County. Today, we discovered the church is not just Liberty Church.
