Did you hear that? And tonight, we're gonna go a bit into warfare. Tonight, we'll be standing against setbacks. So we are standing against setbacks. Said again, so we are praying against setbacks. What are setbacks? Setbacks are ten steps forward and ten steps backward. Setbacks, setbacks. So tonight, we'll be dealing with these setbacks. Any person tuned into that?<br /><br /><br />Now, we know, asking God to not do, you're handling issues with our own hands. Hear this statement. Are you here? This statement, any person who says there are moments when things begin to move, as things begin to move, I find myself going backward. Okay, we want to stand against that. We want to rebuke setbacks. I can sense someone tonight being released from a setback spirit. Are you ready for prayer? Now I want you to have your seats.<br /><br /><br />Now in the book of Colossians, chapter 4, verse 2. Let's check it out. 'Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.' I want you to check in NIV, 'Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.' Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. I don't have a problem on prayer, but I have a problem with watchful. There are certain things that you must be very watchful. You can't just be praying every day, 'I'm praying for this, I'm praying for this.' You must be watchful in the area. You must be so watchful. It is the area of setbacks. Did you hear that?<br /><br /><br />Um, I want you to go into the book of Hebrews, chapter 10, verse 23. Hebrews 10, verse 23, NIV. 'Let us hold anxiously to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.' Message translation, same verse. 'Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word.'<br /><br /><br />Hmm, then we just read Colossians 4:2, 'Devote yourself to prayer, being watchful and thankful.' Someone said, 'Being watchful, being watchful.' Said again, 'So being watchful, being watchful.' What does that mean to you?<br /><br /><br />Now I want you to see this. Do you know somebody's in the house? Okay, and then all of a sudden it is your child. A problem. As you are dealing with your child's problem, it is another problem somewhere. As you are dealing with that problem, something is happening. And guess what? In a normal sense, if you are so natural, you begin to think, 'What is going on?' But if you are not too watchful, you from the spirit, you want to realize something here is wrong. But when you begin to understand what is going on in the spirit, you will find out there is a special assignment against you. This battle you are dealing with here, it is not about your child, it is not about your husband, it is not about your wife. It is in the battle of what you're doing, of your projects that you're trying to do. It is your battle. The enemy wants to mess you up. Did you hear that? When Jesus met the devil or when he met demons, he never negotiated to say, 'What's happening?' No, he just told the devil to go where it was supposed to go. So tonight, we are rebuking every setback. No, your 'amen' is not loud and clear. So I hear you. Prophet, shall I rebuke a setback? Following him alive, you ready for this? In Jeremiah 1:10, 'See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms.' I love this verse. 'To root out, to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.' But we want to uproot every force of the enemy. Say, 'Hear your Prophet, I hear your Prophet. We want to do what? To uproot every force. Anything in your business which is not planted by God shall be uprooted tonight. Anything in your calling, not planted by God shall be uprooted. Any assignment of the enemy manifesting in your life will be uprooted tonight.<br /><br /><br />I want you to do something. If you can, I want you to make a prayer. Anything that you know that something is wrong here, there must be a setback, there must be a delay, there must be something trying to fight my destiny, my calling, my gift, my marriage, my relationship, my finances, my project. It must be uprooted. The Bible says, 'I give you power to uproot. I give you power to destroy, power to plant, power to build.' Did you hear that? So tonight, I want you to do something. You will not sit where you are sitting like, 'Oh, our Father in the name of You know, we are not doing things like that.' Well, you don't be... You know, there are people who are very friendly, very friendly to demons. You demon, uh, you know, leave my family alone. What have I done wrong to you? Leave me and I'll also leave you. You wish! I'm gonna catch this man here. And unfortunately, you're a prophetic person, and you will stop the enemy. You didn't hear me. Someone said, 'I will stop the enemy.' Say, 'Loud and clear.' So I'll stop the enemy. As we command every force of the enemy, every delay that is happening in your business, in your career, must be stopped. Every delay happening in your calling must be stopped. Every problem, every scenario must be broken, and every setback must be stopped.<br /><br />How do you know that it is a setback spirit? There are many examples for you to know that there is a setback spirit operating in your life. One of the examples for you to know that there's a setback spirit around you is when you start something and it begins to move well, and before you know it, it is no longer moving well. The biggest question is why? Other people think it's not like that. Why? Other people that don't have the same thing? Why? Some of us, we don't see what you see. Why? You start something, and the moment it begins to move, it goes back to zero. How? What's going on with your life? Dreams are not meant to see the past. Dreams are meant to see the future. Now, can you imagine all the times you see yourself in your old home in your dreams? You see yourself young, how you are playing with your old friends. You are always dreaming that you are at school, dreams are not meant to see the past. That's not a dream, it's a setback. Can you imagine? Can you imagine, fellow? Had a dream, and when he told Joseph, Joseph said, 'This dream shows the future. This dream shows the future.' Joseph had a dream, it was to do with the future. You have a dream, it is to do with the past, 15 years ago. What is that? How would you begin to write mathematics in high school and you're not there? Someone in the primary does that.<br /><br /><br />So be watchful. You must watch what's going on around here, because it could be a setback in your life, it's a setback spirit. So for you to know, one, it is when you begin to see things that you do all the time going back. It also goes along with the spirit of repetition. Where every time, the same incident happens within your family. It's a setback. Can you imagine, a repetition? Can you imagine, where in your relationship or your marriage, you know, you reconcile, things begin to move well. 'I love you, I love you too, I love you, I love you.' Things begin to move. Two months, three months, another issue, you go back to the same square in your marriage or your relationship. What is that? It is a setback. So the Bible says, 'Be watchful and prayerful.' So it is not only in money, setbacks can manifest in a relationship. It can manifest in marriage. Some people, they find a good, a very good guy, and as they're moving, whether they marry or not, but then along the journey, there's a disappointment, they break. Defend another one. Things begin to move properly, another setback.<br /><br /><br />Raise your right hand and say, 'It must be stopped.' 'It must be stopped in Jesus' name.' It is a setback spirit. Don't just say, 'Ah, I don't know what's happened with me.' No, you must know what's going on with you. The statement of saying, 'I don't know what's happening with me,' must be spoken and said by people who don't pray, not you. We must stop the enemy tonight, or else he'll keep on stopping you. So you must be serious about it. Can you imagine every time you get a contract, you get a job, before you know it, it's no longer yours? Can you imagine? Can you imagine where you do there are even people who, this spirit is manifesting in their career. Some we live in school, when they begin to do school, they start properly. 'Okay, I'm doing school.' And then they go back to the same level and they begin to study again. They begin to do, before they know, it's the same issue again. They have to, there will be a reason why the animal put up a reason. Whether it's going to be fees or whatever reason he may cause, but he will just make sure you go back into the same level. It is a setback spirit. We need to stop the spirit.<br /><br /><br />Now, I'm telling you the truth. We need to stop this spirit. I remember meeting a woman of God, this woman of God, she's within this country, and I have known her for quite a long time of years, and she has a ministry. And her ministry will begin to grow like this, it's begin to grow like this. And before she knows, it goes back and it goes up again. So I met this woman and she said to me, 'Amen of God.' I said, 'I don't know what's happening with my ministry. People come, people go, and things begin to move, and things stop moving.' And I said, 'Woman of God, I said you're a woman of God.' 'Yes, but there's something that we must deal with.' I said, 'It is not in you, it is with you.' You can be living without a demon in you, but with you. When a demon is with you, it is at a level of spiritual warfare. The enemy has come to fight with you.<br /><br /><br />Jesus encountered demons and the devil himself. He was not in him. And the Bible says when he defeated him, the Bible says Satan left him for a while, not forever. I'm talking of Jesus here. Who do you think you are? Not permanently. The purpose is, the devil left him for a while. In Luke chapter 4, and then the devil left him. Well, meaning, he was coming back. Can you imagine, like, 'I now have a breakthrough, now you have money of every hour, now things are moving, and the devil is speaking, certainly, I will be back.' If you really see us tonight and if you really want this thing to be stopped because we have a big problem. The promises and devil left him for a while in verse 13 of Luke chapter 4. And the devil left him, well, he was looking for another opportunity. Did you hear that? So be careful. Be careful. So you may be sitting there, not even knowing what you're doing, not knowing what you're doing, like, 'I have been praying and praying, I don't know when God will answer me.' God has been answering you, but there is something that is stopping you. Whenever God answers you, the enemy comes and takes you back.<br /><br /><br />How do you know that it is a setback spirit? There are many examples for you to know that there is a setback spirit operating in your life. One of the examples for you to know that there's a setback spirit around you is when you start something and it begins to move well, and before you know it, it is no longer moving well. The biggest question is why? Other people think it's not like that. Why? Other people that don't have the same thing? Why? Some of us, we don't see what you see. Why? You start something, and the moment it begins to move, it goes back to zero. How? What's going on with your life? So the first sign is when things begin to move and they begin to move well, and before you know it, they're no longer moving.<br /><br /><br />Number two, it is when you always dream your old days. Dreams are not meant to see the past. Dreams are meant to see the future. Now, can you imagine all the times you see yourself in your old home in your dreams? You see yourself young, how you are playing with your old friends. You are always dreaming that you are at school, dreams are not meant to see the past. That's not a dream, it's a setback. Can you imagine? Can you imagine, fellow? Had a dream, and when he told Joseph, Joseph said, 'This dream shows the future. This dream shows the future.' Joseph had a dream, it was to do with the future. You have a dream, it is to do with the past, 15 years ago. What is that? How would you begin to write mathematics in high school and you're not there? Someone in the primary does that.<br /><br /><br />So be watchful. You must watch what's going on around here, because it could be a setback in your life, it's a setback spirit. So for you to know, one, it is when you begin to see things that you do all the time going back. It also goes along with the spirit of repetition. Where every time, the same incident happens within your family. It's a setback. Can you imagine, a repetition? Can you imagine, where in your relationship or your marriage, you know, you reconcile, things begin to move well. 'I love you, I love you too, I love you, I love you.' Things begin to move. Two months, three months, another issue, you go back to the same square in your marriage or your relationship. What is that? It is a setback. So the Bible says, 'Be watchful and prayerful.' So it is not only in money, setbacks can manifest in a relationship. It can manifest in marriage. Some people, they find a good, a very good guy, and as they're moving, whether they marry or not, but then along the journey, there's a disappointment, they break. Defend another one. Things begin to move properly, another setback.<br /><br /><br />Raise your right hand and say, 'It must be stopped.' 'It must be stopped in Jesus' name.' It is a setback spirit. Don't just say, 'Ah, I don't know what's happened with me.' No, you must know what's going on with you. The statement of saying, 'I don't know what's happening with me,' must be spoken and said by people who don't pray, not you. We must stop the enemy tonight, or else he'll keep on stopping you. So you must be serious about it. Can you imagine every time you get a contract, you get a job, before you know it, it's no longer yours? Can you imagine? Can you imagine where you do there are even people who, this spirit is manifesting in their career. Some we live in school, when they begin to do school, they start properly. 'Okay, I'm doing school.' And then they go back to the same level and they begin to study again. They begin to do, before they know, it's the same issue again. They have to, there will be a reason why the animal put up a reason. Whether it's going to be fees or whatever reason he may cause, but he will just make sure you go back into the same level. It is a setback spirit. We need to stop the spirit.<br /><br /><br />Now, I'm telling you the truth. We need to stop this spirit. I remember meeting a woman of God, this woman of God, she's within this country, and I have known her for quite a long time of years, and she has a ministry. And her ministry will begin to grow like this, it's begin to grow like this. And before she knows, it goes back and it goes up again. So I met this woman and she said to me, 'Amen of God.' I said, 'I don't know what's happening with my ministry. People come, people go, and things begin to move, and things stop moving.' And I said, 'Woman of God, I said you're a woman of God.' 'Yes, but there's something that we must deal with.' I said, 'It is not in you, it is with you.' You can be living without a demon in you, but with you. When a demon is with you, it is at a level of spiritual warfare. The enemy has come to fight with you.<br /><br /><br />Jesus encountered demons and the devil himself. He was not in him. And the Bible says when he defeated him, the Bible says Satan left him for a while, not forever. I'm talking of Jesus here. Who do you think you are? Not permanently. The purpose is, the devil left him for a while. In Luke chapter 4, and then the devil left him. Well, meaning, he was looking for another opportunity. Did you hear that? So be careful. Be careful.
