Daphne Hope is missing from the 2000 block of Fulton Street where she lived with a black male named Gary Lynn Sterling. Mr. Sterling denies knowledge of what happened to Daphne. A search warrant executed at the residence did not locate items of evidentiary value. Daphne Hope is a high risk victim involved with drugs and prostitution. Reference DNA sample has been secured from only one family member at this time. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to please contact the Aurora Police Department.


Let's continue to seek justice for those who are missing and those who's Murders remain unsolved. Time to speak up for Daphne. ⚖️

September Book Madness was another event spearheaded by Ms. Gadson to provide school supplies to youths in the community. In addition, she co-sponsored an Author’s Workshop to provide information to fellow authors and help further their literary career. Gina received an AABA in Marketing and a BBA in Management. Since 2005, she has been a Director at a local University where she continues to promote education.  Gina Gadson is the Founder and CEO of Distinguished Authors Guild. D.A.G. pays homage to African American authors, honoring those of the past and awarding those who are our future, through awards and scholarships. D.A.G give authors a platform to showcase their hard work and spotlight their creativity. Along with a special night of accolades and awards, Distinguished Authors Guild prides itself in supporting our youths. The goal is to gift 10 freshman college students in the creative writing/literary/journalism field with a $1000 scholarship. In 2020, D.A.G. presented ten authors with the D.A.G. Award and one student with a $500 scholarship. In 2021, there were twelve receiving authors and one student who received a $500 scholarship. In 2022, D.A.G. went live for the first time. The elite award ceremony was conducted in Las Vegas, NV with sixteen award winning books and one $500 scholarship recipient.
