Auburn Unleashed 20: Will Herring

This week's guest is former Auburn player Will Herring. Will Herring played safety at Auburn until moving to the outside linebacker position his senior year. For a period of time, Will held Auburn's school record for the most consecutive starts (49) and had the team's most tackles both his junior and senior years. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2007 and now plays for the New Orleans Saints.

Auburn Unleashed 19: Coach Bill Oliver

Our newest episode of AU features former Alabama and Auburn coach Bill "Brother" Oliver. "Brother" played as a defensive back under Bear Bryant from 1959 to 1961. After coaching high school ball, he joined Coach Ralph Jordan at Auburn in 1966 as a secondary coach. In 1970 he returned to Alabama in the same position until he took the head coach position at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga in 1980. Following a stint with the United States Football League and at Clemson, Brother Oliver returned again to the University of Alabama in 1990 as a secondary coach, eventually becoming the Tide's defensive coordinator. In 1996 he became Terry Bowden's defensive coordinator at Auburn and served for five games at Auburn's interim head football coach following Bowden departure.

This week Jim and Adam discuss the LSU and Ole Miss games with former Tiger linebacker Kim Sellers. Sellers played for the Tigers from 1974-1977, and played high school ball at Montgomery. He gives us his opinion of the Auburn offensive line in these two games and shares some unique stories about Shug Jordan, Pat Dye and Bear Bryant. This includes a really funny story about Bear Bryant.

Auburn Unleashed 17: Larry Blakeney

Larry Blakeney is the football head coach of the Troy Trojans at Troy University. He is only one of two coaches to have taken a football program from Division II to Division I FBS, the other being UCF's Gene McDowell. Blakeney is currently the 3rd-winningest active coach (behind Frank Beamer and Bill Snyder) and the 2nd-longest active tenured coach in the FBS, only behind Frank Beamer.

Auburn Unleashed 13: Marvin Trott

This week's guest is former Auburn football player Marvin Trott. He was a three-year letterman in the 70s in 1975, 1976 and 1977. His son Tommy Trott was a four-year letterman under Tommy Tuberville's teams from 2005-2008. Marvin won the prestigious Cliff Hare Award and was a high school football referee for over 20 years.

Auburn Unleashed 10: Terry Henley

This week’s guest is Terry Henley. Terry is a retired professional American football player. Henley played college football for the Auburn Tigers and was named first-team All-SEC and second-team All-American by the Associated Press in 1972. He was signed as a free agent by the Atlanta Falcons in 1973 but was cut during training camp. Henley was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in the Class of 2000.
