Before describing the beings here, let’s just recap on how the eighth dimension works.

There is no possibility of physical form, there are no shapes, and nothing can be touched. Although higher beings often present themselves in human form to make it easier to communicate, you are more likely to perceive these beings as orbs.
The past, present and future of infinite universes are united. The past is not fixed, so there is no cause and effect, and the past has no relevance. The experience would be like a virtual reality, where you no longer touch separate objects, but can experience the whole at any time.
The laws of physics are not yet formed. It is a place where laws can be rewritten and changed at will. Here we experience the physical world as an illusion that we can re-dream as we will.

4. In our manifestation work, we become more aware of future causality. We reach into infinite possible futures, find the future we want, and draw it towards the present. The past does not limit or affect the process. Our tools of creation are not about cause and effect, but intention, attention and choice.

Djinn: Masters of the Eighth Dimension

So what are the beings that inhabit this dimension? First of all; Djinn.

Djinn live in 7th and 8th dimensions. The higher one’s, the Djinn kings, are masters of the 8th dimension and its magick. The above summary of the 8th dimension will give you an idea of how they work. First of all, all djinn work from future causality. They find the future you want and then work to bring it to you, and you to it. This is where a little cooperation on your part is needed. You will need to follow their intuitive signals to move in the right direction and take the right opportunities.

The Djinn kings are a step beyond, as they alter the very laws of creation. This is the kind of magick where you can let go of all logic and reason and allow the totally unexpected. All they require from you is trust, gratitude and surrender, so when you ask their help you can fully allow their energy in, not holding on to any limitations. The kings tend to set the possibility, then their servants continue the work of bringing those possible futures to you. For this reason, it is most powerful to make a pact with the Djinn kings and allow them to appoint their servants.

Working with them also rubs off on you so that you gain more understanding of the 8th dimension and how the higher magick works. It encourages your ascension beyond the illusion of the physical plane.

How to Work with Djinn: Practical Guidance

It’s important to remember that they are formless, so you are not likely to see them, so you will need to be relaxed and sense the subtle whispers. Being in darkness when you work with them helps, and offering tasty food. Whatever you enjoy the most, the Djinn will like, so offer your favourite foods.

The Higher Self: Your Guide in Eighth Dimensional Work

The next important being of the 8th dimension is your Higher Self. This too is formless, beyond time, and beyond the laws of creation. It can appear in meditation in a human form to allow easier communication and more intimacy, but will also come as an orb; often a vast orb of light that seems to encompass the Universe. It’s good to meditate with both.
When you build a relationship with your Higher Self, it guides you in your pacts with Djinn and other higher beings, so it’s always a good idea to build the relationship with your Higher Self first. All you need do is sit with them in meditation for some time every day. You don’t have to see or hear them to begin with, just allow their resonance to change you, and allow intimacy. Later they will come with you in your meditations with Djinn, and help form a positive bond.

The important point to remember in making pacts with Djinn is that they involve an exchange of gifts, and you are unlikely to understand the metaphor, so don’t really know what you are giving or receiving. This is where you ask your Higher Self before giving or receiving anything. You don’t have to understand it, just get a yes or no. If your Higher Self says no, ask the Djinn if there is anything else you can give instead, until your Higher Self agrees. This is important, as your Higher Self has your best interests at heart, but the Djinn doesn’t understand your earthly needs and limitations. For example, if a Djinn asks for your left eye, you might assume it’s a metaphor for your receptivity or something so you agree, then you actually lose your left eye. Such things happen, and can be prevented by consulting with our Higher Selves.

Expanding Your Magick Through Regular Contact

Regular contact with these beings in meditation gradually makes the illusion less real, so we have no anxiety about it, and release limitations, so we expand our possibilities and become more open to miracles. Our magick expands, and we understand far more about how we create our reality. Remember, there is no place you have to go to, as they are beyond space and time. You just have to meditate with the intention of being with them and allowing them to change your resonance.

None of these indicators is conclusive in isolation. The practitioner’s assessment should consider the totality of the picture, the timing, and the presence or absence of natural explanations. Your life looks good on paper. You’ve got the material things, the income, the relationships that function, and people see you as capable and wise. Yet inside you feel split. There’s that quiet sense of “this isn’t it”, and you’re yearning for something more. You’re under-expressed, quietly resentful, and carrying the fear that you might reach the end without ever becoming who you really are and what you’re truly capable of.

You chose this life. Maybe not consciously, but you chose it all the same, by following expectations, taking the path of least resistance, or letting others set the direction because you weren’t fully connected to your own true will. Not choosing is still a choice, and right now that choice is keeping you smaller than you’re meant to be.

Most people who feel this way already have awareness. You’ve done the coaching, the courses, the therapy, the retreats. You know there’s more, and yet you still settle. The pain of that gap is getting harder to ignore.

Your life is a direct result of the choices you’ve made, conscious or not. If it isn’t what you want, there’s only one real question: are you ready to choose differently?

So let’s talk about choice, and what it actually means.

What Does It Mean to Choose Your Own Life?

Peter teaches the 3 dimensions of choice.

1-dimensional choice identifies what you want. I want to be healthy.
2-dimensional choice identifies how. I’m going to eat well and rest.
3-dimensional choice is where the real power lives. It gives your choice depth, meaning, and a reason strong enough to keep you committed. I want to improve my mental and physical well-being so I can extend my lifespan and actually be present with my grandkids.

Without the third dimension, your choices are just intentions. Intentions without meaning don’t stick.

He also teaches that there is no wrong choice. The Goddess, in all her forms, including your Higher Self, doesn’t judge the choices you make.

So why talk about choosing differently? Because there’s a difference between right choice and willed choice.

Right choice responds to the human graces:

Learn new skills
Grow spiritually
Have fun
Expand your strengths
Make new choices

Willed choice is the one aligned to your why, your 3rd-dimensional choice. It asks: why do I want this, and what choice actually moves me toward it?

Knowing yourself well enough to make a right or willed choice, rather than a reactive one, is what keeps you on your path. If something in your life needs to change, if you want a different experience, this is where it starts.

Understanding the dimensions of choice is one thing, using them is another. So why don’t we?

Why We Stay Stuck Even When We Know Better

It usually comes down to one of three things:

You don’t believe they have a choice; life just happens to you
You know they can choose differently, but you’re scared to
You want to change, but you don’t know where to start

If you’re not making a conscious, 3rd-dimensional choice, your past is making it for you. Or you’re handing your power over to something external, your conditioning, your culture, your ancestral patterns. You end up living a life shaped by everything except your own true will. That’s where the disharmony lives.

Knowing which of those three applies to you is the starting point. But knowing isn’t enough on its own.

The Warrior Mindset: The Courage Real Change Requires

Making a choice takes courage.

It means lifting the veils, stripping back the identities, and facing who you actually are. Because once you see the truth, you can’t unknow it. You either act on it – or you settle, and betray yourself.

Once you’ve admitted what you want to yourself, you then have to admit it to others. Then to the systems, societies, and external forces, including ancestral and collective patterns, that have a stake in you staying exactly as you are.

Some of those forces won’t want you to change. And honestly? Neither will some parts of you.

This is where warrior energy comes in

The Warrior, in my definition, has nothing to do with aggression or force. It’s about truth. It’s the courage to face who you are, choose and claim what you want. The conviction to say no to anything that is trying to derail you. The resilience to keep going when everything feels impossible and the strength to face any challenge along the way. An unshakeable belief in your own path.

And equally, the courage to say yes. To receive what you’ve chosen and to let it change you.

Warrior energy is what carries you through. But first, you need to know what you’re choosing and why. That’s where my four pillars of choice and change come in.

The Four Pillars of Conscious Choice and Transformation

Peter tells us that choices made during moments of intense emotion, often years or decades ago, can still be running your life today. You made a conclusion in that moment, and part of you has been operating from it ever since. Most of those choices are limiting.

To override these, you need to make new choices at the same level of emotional intensity. The new choice will then supersede the old, if made with the same intensity.

Many of you know right now that you are capable of more. Deep down, you may even already know what you want to become or create. Staying where you are will soon (if not already) feel more painful than stepping into change. The question is, are you ready to choose it, and can you choose it at the right level?

So you don’t become the version of you that nearly did the thing, here are the four pillars that I believe are necessary to embody and receive your desired change:

Clarity – cutting through the noise and conditioning to see what’s actually true for you, not what looks good or what you were told to want
Choice – making right, willed choices aligned to your true will so you stop betraying yourself and start consciously creating your life
Confidence – trusting your own inner authority instead of looking for external permission or validation
Conviction – the discipline and follow-through to keep choosing differently when old patterns and life try to pull you back

The pillars give you the framework. But some of what’s stopping you runs deeper than mindset. Some of it is buried in places your conscious mind can’t easily reach.

Why Plant Medicine Unlocks the Choices You Can't Access Alone

Some choices were made in moments so painful that your mind sealed them off entirely. Peter calls this the Forbidden Zone, the part of the unconscious where suppressed trauma lives, out of sight but still quietly running the show.

To supersede a limiting choice with a better one, you have to revisit the memory where it was made. You have to feel it again so that you can discreate it. That’s not comfortable, but it’s the only way to be free of it.

This is where plant medicine comes in.

From my experience, it creates access to the parts of the unconscious you’ve locked away. It helps you reach what’s buried, move through the emotion that you suppressed, and release it. Once that weight is gone, you’re no longer choosing from a place of old identification. You’re actually free to choose.

It also shows you your potential and what is possible for you. But just because it is a potential, doesn’t mean you will experience it.

You still have to make a choice.

The medicine opens the door. But what you do once you’re through it is what determines everything. Again, here, you need your warrior if you want to choose yourself and a life that is genuinely yours.

How This Plant Medicine Retreat Creates Lasting Change

Insight alone doesn’t create change. Neither does ceremony without integration, nor motivation without the emotional clearing to back it up. This retreat combines three elements deliberately, because each one does something the others can’t.

Demons: What Are They Really? The Truth Behind Demons, Angels and Possession

The Original Meaning of the Word "Demon"

‘DAEMON’

Daemon is a Greek word meaning an astral entity with wisdom. They were not considered evil, but because of their different level of intelligence, their messages were very cryptic, so demons were thought to be tricky, and one had to think very carefully to interpret their guidance. One’s demon was very much like a higher self or Holy Guardian Angel; it was a personal guide that helped one evolve spiritually while guiding them through all life’s challenges. Socrates was well known in Athens for receiving guidance from his Demon, which always kept him from making wrong decisions.

How Did "Demon" Become Associated with Evil?

So how did the word “demon” become associated with evil? Let’s start with Satan and the idea of fallen angels.

Satan is often misinterpreted as the opposer; being opposed to God. However, the Hebrew Shaitan meant “the accuser”: he was sent by God to test people. He basically obeyed God: there was never any concept of any being opposing God, or of angels falling.

To understand where this concept came from, we need to look back further into the history of angels and demons. Both stem from the older Sumerian messengers of the Gods; the Lammasu. These were seen as winged beings, like angels, and are what the Abrahamic angels were based upon. However, later these became “Lamashtu” and were considered evil beings.

We can see through history that whenever the Jewish people conquered a land, they would ban their Gods, so they were first forbidden, then judged as evil. A tradition the Christians continued: many Gods of older religions became the devils of Christianity.

Demons, Djinn, and the Goetia: The Same Spirits?

The demons of the Goetia, on the other hand, were originally djinn. There are 72 djinn attributed to King Solomon, or Sulaiman in Arabic. As the system was adopted by the Romans, the Arabic names of these spirits were replaced with Latin names, and the word djinn was replaced by the Greek word for guiding spirits; demon. It’s worth noting here that most Romans spoke Greek, not Latin.

It is also very enlightening to compare the 72 djinn of Solomon with the 72 angels of the Shemhamaphorash. They have the same attributes. This has been interpreted as the spirits being fallen angels, and each one is kept in check by an angel who governs the same attribute.

This is simply an expression of the age-old fight between Judaism and Islam: the Arabic names of the same spirits became forbidden, and so their angels were considered fallen. Once you look beyond the religious conflict, you can see that djinn, demons and angels are all the same thing.

So What Are Demons, Angels and Djinn Really?

They are a level of consciousness between us and the source, which we can more easily relate to, so they help us with our connection to our Creator. The first Source, which is indefinable, first divides into a number of archetypal energies, which are the different ways the Source can act on creation.

Note that the Sanskrit word Deva, and the Egyptian word for deity, Neter, both mean attribute. They are the different ways the Creator acts on creation. They are not really separate; they are very much like the 72 names of God or the 99 beautiful names of Allah. Actually, it’s generally accepted that God can have infinite names, being unlimited in expression.

Under each of these archetypes, there are separate beings which are expressions of those archetypal energies and act as stepping stones towards the ultimate. For those who like to believe that they only need God, and have no time for these lesser beings, try crossing a wide river without the help of stepping stones. You may be able to get there with much struggle, but to anyone walking across the stones, you will look crazy. There is really nothing wrong with using the stepping stones that have been put there for a reason.

Why Does Demonic Possession Exist?

So why does the problem of demonic possession exist?

As I have said before in my article on possession, these demons are mostly self-created: what we call eggregores. When we deny our emotions so much that we push them deep into the unconscious, they become personified and fight their way back in.

Then there are also those eggregores created by many people that exist in the collective unconscious. As an example, 2000 years of millions of people focusing on a concept of universal evil, i.e. a devil, creates a very strong eggregore. This is a very irresponsible use of our creative power.

How to Clear Self-Created Demons

Your first task is to stop believing in it, then you can start breaking down that eggregore. Once you clear all your personal unconscious, real demons are not to be feared.
Angels do not fall; nothing is created in opposition to God. There is just us and a lot of potentially helpful spirits which can co-create with us, and our own tools of desire, imagination and expectation, so look carefully at your imagination and expectation around these beings.
To be a co-creator, you must first be a creator, which means taking responsibility for your use of these tools. Socrates understood this when he realised that a positive being could become negative to a person with a bad attitude; your angel and your demon are really the same. The Underworld in Shamanism: Journeying into the Unconscious

Misconceptions About Hell and the Underworld

In order to explain what the underworld is and how it works, we need to clear some popular misconceptions based on the concept of Hell. This originates from the Norse Hel; which means a place of sanctuary, where the dead go to rest when all the trials of life are over.

Underworld journeying was called Helfaring, a practice used to heal ancestral problems and retrieve lost parts of the soul. The Christian concept of Hell stemmed from the older Jewish sheol, which again was a place the dead go to, not a place of being punished for evil. It seems Christianity distorted the idea in order to frighten everyone to obey their rules.

Furthermore, all the descriptions of Hell are not from religion, but from a play: Dante’s Inferno. This has led to a lot of superstition about this place of eternal damnation, totally corrupted from the original idea of an underworld. So let’s be clear: there is no place of eternal damnation.

We can, however, create such a place on the astral plane through our belief and emotions around it. This is a very irresponsible use of our creative power.

The Underworld as the Interface with the Unconscious

The underworld is simply the interface with our unconscious. Not the unconscious itself, as that, by definition we are not conscious of and can’t see. Rather it is a place where we can interface with the contents of our unconscious through imagery, symbolism and emotion.

Ancestors and Animal Spirits

There are two main areas we connect with here: ancestors and animal spirits. Why? Because our unconscious is built upon our ancient past, beyond recent memory. It is structured around our ancestors and our older animal nature, which is the root of our instincts. Accessing these areas allows us to address and heal ancestral pain, conflicts and conditioning which still impact our lives through our automatic responses, and also strengthen survival instincts while pacifying instincts that no longer serve us. It is a common practice in many shamanic cultures to bring in a power animal, which restores good survival instincts so we can be assertive, stop abuse and maintain good health.

Entities and Energetic Patterns in the Underworld

Apart from these areas, our unconscious also contains deeply held stuck emotions, habits and personal laws, that may manifest in our underworld as entities, as this interface works through imagery, being much older than language. Note that these entities are self-created, or ancestral creations. There is no universal being of evil, though if you encounter the devil there, that too is an eggregore created from generations of belief and emotion, and that too can be removed.

Soul Retrieval and Trauma Healing

You can also find missing parts of the soul there. When there has been such trauma that a person withdraws from the world, they have basically gone into the unconscious. There is no point in trying to counsel the soul, as the person is vacant and non-responsive, but through underworld journeying the soul can be brought back to the body so the person becomes whole again. They may then need some counselling, but they are now responsive.

Releasing Negative Habits and Energetic Laws

Entities found there that are energies of negative habits, laws etc need to be destroyed. These too are beyond counselling as they form on such an unconscious level. They are beyond language or rational thought, so counselling would not have any effect anyway, but when the energy of a habit is destroyed, that habit is simply no longer there. This allows self-destructive habits to be released easily, where no amount of rationalisation will change it.

Navigating the Vastness of the Underworld

The unconscious is vast, so naturally, the underworld will be a vast place. It will have scenery that reflects all the places you have experienced, right back through your ancestry and even through your animal nature. You therefore need a guide to chart your way across the underworld so you can find missing soul parts, troublesome entities and various causes of problems.

The first guide is your power animal, as naturally it is the animal part of you that is most familiar with these depths. The other, even more helpful guides we can gain are the Nagas. These are snake people, which can be understood as our interface with serpent consciousness, which makes perfect sense considering that the reptilian brain is the most unconscious and instinctive part of ourselves. These serpent beings are found in various shamanic traditions. When you form an alliance with Nagas, they quickly guide you to anywhere in the underworld and find any missing soul parts or entities you seek.

Destroying Negative Entities

Bringing back missing soul parts is pretty straightforward, but how do we destroy the negative entities? First, the power animal can kill the entity, particularly if you have a large predatory animal. These entities can act as living things and have a strong will to survive, so it is necessary to have a hunter who will kill them.

There can be, however, entities that are too big for the animal to defeat, such as the eggregore of the devil, if you want to remove this energy of “evil” from your unconscious, or other self-created or ancestral demons, which hold the really stubborn problems. Various traditions have spiritual weapons for destroying demons, such as the phurba and vajra used in Ban Jankri, but the greatest allies for destroying demons are the Dragons.

Dragons and Kundalini Power

These represent the serpent power but with the kundalini fully risen, so they have the spiritual energy to transmute any negative force. The kundalini fire can destroy the largest inner demons.

The Healing Power of Underworld Journeying

Underworld journeying has great use in healing, addressing deep issues that counselling cannot reach. It can be used to end destructive habits, repeated problems, limiting laws, patterns of self-punishment, to retrieve soul parts, thereby reawakening withdrawn individuals, and removing those strange, undefinable spiritual problems that regular psychotherapy doesn’t touch.

From Belief to Knowing: Expectation in Advanced Spiritual Practice

The concept of believing in spirituality is often misunderstood. For instance, do you believe in the computer you are using? When you use something all the time and see it working, it is not a matter of belief, but knowing. So, where does belief fit in with spirituality and magick?

At Aziz Shamanism, I teach the basic tools of creation: desire, imagination and expectation, particularly in my various manifestation trainings. When people say you have to believe in the magick, what they are really talking about is expectation. So let’s have a look at that word:

‘Ex’ means beyond – like an exit is for going beyond the “it”; your present place.
‘Spect’ is about looking – e.g. perspective is your way of looking at something.
So – to expect is to look beyond.

This requires you to look at all the details you can perceive, and with that information, project beyond to see where it is going. This is not blind faith or wishful thinking. Faith that is built through practice is not blind faith. I would never recommend blind faith: when it is asked of you, you can be sure you are being manipulated.

Faith in your spirituality, your gods, etc., is something that builds as you take time to build a relationship with your Higher Self, Gods, etc. The more you build this, the more you feel their presence, and the more you see their effects in your life. This is a form of knowing, not belief.

Belief is built on hope. It can be a great motivator when you haven’t yet built that real knowing, but by itself, it will not manifest what you want. That requires genuine expectation; substitutes for expectation won’t work.

Common Substitutes for Genuine Expectation

It is useful to recognise the common substitutes for expectation so you know where you are going wrong.

Demands – When you say to someone, “ I expect you to do this” what you are really saying is “you better do it”.
Manipulation – If you were to say, “ everybody else let me down, but I trust that you won’t”, what you are really doing is setting them up to feel guilty if they don’t do what you want.

People even try these manipulations with God; when they pray for something and say they expect a result. It’s like they are trying to shame God for being a lousy creator.

Affirmations – You keep telling yourself something because you don’t really expect it. The less you expect something, the more affirmations you feel you have to make.
Blind faith or wishful thinking.

None of these substitutes will help you manifest your desires. So how do we build genuine expectation? Does it mean that we have to see results before we can believe?

Why Expectation Is the Real Tool of Manifestation

That’s another trap. Expectation comes first, then what we expect manifests. The trick is to learn to see expectation as cause, not effect. You don’t expect because you have seen results: you see results because you expected them. When you start seeing it this way, it straight away changes the dynamic. You gain more control over and responsibility for your expectations, because you recognise it as your tool of creation. Future Causality and Magickal Creation

This also requires us to accept future causality. Newton’s concept of cause and effect has been completely disproven, and too many spiritual teachers who should know better are still stuck in the same outdated paradigm, which is really not helping.

I will explain future causality in two stages.

First, everything we do is motivated by the future we want or are presently accepting. The reason you get up in the morning isn’t to do with the past; it’s because you have to get to work an hour later. When we use the past to excuse our behaviour, it is just that; an excuse, which we need to create a desired outcome, which often includes manipulation. As an example, we may talk about our painful past to get sympathy, so people feel sorry for us, go easy on us, and give us attention. This necessarily creates more failure, as nobody will feel sorry for us if we are successful and happy. There is a simple choice in how we interact with the world: manipulate or co-create.
Secondly, every experience we have is a double quantum wave between here and a future. If something doesn’t have a future, we can’t experience it. The past doesn’t come into the equation. With this idea in mind, we can start to understand how to build real expectation.

When we visualise something, we are setting up a future. That future then affects us through the double quantum wave. The feeling of already having that future thing starts to come back to us. From our present perspective, that becomes expectation; the feeling of this future that is going to happen. The more we nurture that future, the stronger the expectation grows, until it actually happens; i.e. the future has arrived.

So when you visualise what you want, take a moment to receive the wave coming back from the future. This is often missed because people are so focused on creating that they forget to receive.

Of course, the past will come up to reassert itself, as memories of past lack comes up as doubt. Just observe these past thoughts until they pass: don’t give any power to the past.

Building Faith Through Daily Spiritual Practice

It gets much easier if you are also building faith through spiritual practice. A simple method I recommend is to simply make some time for your Higher Self or deities every day. Don’t try to build the relationship too fast; like any relationship, it builds gradually and requires a bit of work. I give a lot of examples, meditations, recommendations and activities to help build a better rapport with your Higher Self and build more trust throughout my Magick: The Faerie and Dragon Path series.

Relax and take a few minutes to go into a meditative state. Visualise a place suitable for the meeting, such as a beautiful place in nature or a temple. Open your senses and get to know it well. Invite your Higher Self or deity to be with you there. Don’t worry about being able to see them or hear messages; just by spending time in their presence, they will raise your resonance so the contact gradually grows stronger.

If you practice these two simple things, you won’t believe any more, you will know, and you will have the genuine expectation that creates results.

Its not so much belief, but expectation that makes it work. The difference is that people can believe that it can work, but don’t really feel it is going to work for them. You have to actually expect the result.

Why do affirmations fail even when repeated consistently?

The problem with affirmations is that you are trying to resist the negative feeling rather than release it. When you feel doubt, you want to keep affirming that it is going to work because you don’t really believe it. As the doubt tries to surface, you have to make more and more affirmations to fight it. This is like planting seeds without weeding the garden. The seeds get strangled. You have to release the negative feelings, then you don’t need affirmations.

What is expectation in advanced spiritual or magickal practice?

Expectation is the feeling that something is going to happen. This is there because you are already creating that future. When you receive the wave coming back from that future, you start to feel it happening. This is the key to success: expectation is receiving the quantum wave of the desired future.

Why Feeding Our Ancestors Matters in Shamanism

Explore the benefits of feeding ancestors in shamanic practice, including ancestral healing, physical health, spiritual protection, and abundance.

Ancestral reverence has always been an important part of shamanic cultures, but why was it so important?

Although we tend to believe that souls of the dead reincarnate, there is also some part of them that remains within the family. We have genes passed on, containing ancestral memory. Through this, it is as if our ancestors continue to live within us. Whether we believe or not that their souls are with us, some aspect of them is. You see, consciousness isn’t confined within time and space, and the soul isn’t either. It is not just in one place, but remains connected to all it has touched. When we feel ancestral memory or consciousness still with us, in our underworld or unconscious, their memory, wisdom and experience, as well as their pains and conflicts, are all there. In our underworld we may see them in human form, the way we most remember them.

How Ancestors Continue to Influence Us

Since their memory is within us, we can have their problems as well as their wisdom. The simple way we understand their impact on us in shamanic cultures is that if our ancestors are unhappy, it can make us unhappy. The first step to making our ancestors happy was to feed them.

Actually, it is more complex than that. When we are not aware of the influence of our ancestry, it affects us unconsciously. All their pains, limitations, patterns of bad luck, etc, play out in our lives. Feeding ancestors is also a way of separating from them psychologically. When we feed them at the ancestral altar, they are now separate beings external to us. Feeding them there regularly means that their problems no longer play out in our lives. Of course, feeding them regularly also gradually heals any feelings of neglect, abandonment and lack they were storing. This has the effect of healing those genetic memories in ourselves.

Ancestral Trauma, the Intestines, and Physical Health

These stored memories also affect our physical health. It is well known in Shamanism that stored trauma affects health click here for an explanation and infographic of the sequence of emotional suppression and healing), but ancestral problems particularly affect the intestines. This is because the intestines are the first organ to form in the foetus. It holds the oldest part of the autonomic nervous system, because feeding was the most important act for survival, before creatures developed brains or glands. So all the ancestral trauma, which is there before we have any experience of our own, tends to be stored in the intestine. We are unable to access and release such deep traumas by normal means, but feeding our ancestors moves these energies out of us, therefore healing many digestive problems we couldn’t heal by other means. Apart from physical healing, another benefit is to free ourselves from ancestral habits and patterns of bad luck, particularly poverty. When we feed our ancestors, we heal feelings of lack, neglect and abandonment, which are often at the root of poverty consciousness. In my Abundance Course, we deal with many of the ancestral blocks to the four main pillars of abundance: spiritual, mental, emotional and physical.

So much for the healing of negative patterns, but ancestral feeding is traditionally said to have other benefits, such as good luck, spiritual connection and help in resolving various problems in life. It is said that because they are already on the other side, they are closer to God and help carry our prayers. The way I see it is that once we have externalised these aspects of consciousness, which will have certain skills as well as experience in the inner plains, they can now act as servitors that can influence events from the astral plain. Being family, they will have a natural tendency to want to help us, plus the fact that we are feeding them can encourage them to work for us in return. In Vodou, this is also used as leverage: if the ancestors don’t give us what we want, we stop feeding them until they do.

So, why should anyone want to worship the Gods, when they are just lenses we can use? First of all, they are not just tools, they are us. But to activate that part of ourselves requires us to shift attention and raise our vibration, by making this physical world less real and our spirituality more real. Understanding Divine Power and How to Work with It

Before answering this, I will start with a quote from Alistair Crowley: “Whether or not the Gods exist is not an issue; the universe behaves as if they do”. The important point is that performing magick with the Gods yields results; now let’s start to look at why.

You have all heard of the Big Bang theory, but it was so called by a TV presenter who didn’t understand the science. It was originally called the lambda CD model, and described how the universe was expanding away from a point. This is because space /time itself is expanding, so everything moves apart, like stars drawn on a balloon moving apart as the balloon is inflated. There was no Big Bang. Science was trying to understand the nature of space/time, which is not really empty, as it has specific electric and magnetic properties. If it was truly empty, light could not travel through it, because light is an electromagnetic ripple whose speed is determined by the permittivity and permeability of the medium it travels through. Particles on the other hand, are a spin in space/time. When you break everything down to its smallest particles, they are only measured by spin. That’s their only property. This fits with ancient magickal models of creation; such as the Egyptian idea of Sia, where creation begins when the void starts to turn, or the famous Abramelin square, which reads “ The Creator, slow moving, maintains His creations as vortices”

Wave/Particle Duality and the Role of Observation

Bohr’s wave/particle duality model shows that a wave becomes a particle when it is observed. Observation localises the vibration so it becomes a spin. Furthermore, when particles were studied to find out why they change into different forms, it was found that they become what they are expected to become. So the fundamental powers that shape the Universe are observation and expectation.

To dive deeper down the rabbit hole, quantum physics also shows that every point in the universe contains the whole. So it should not be difficult to realise that we are all the same consciousness that creates the universe, each of us creating our own reality.

What the Gods Really Represent

So how did we become so powerless in relation to the Universe? We entered our creation in order to experience it. As we experience our lives, which are a tiny bit of the whole, we leave all that power outside ourselves. This is when the Gods were created. They are all the powers we use to shape reality, but now separated and outside ourselves. Why Gods rather than just one creator? Because that original consciousness can do absolutely anything, but is pure potential that hasn’t yet had any ideas about what to create. It gradually focused in different ways to shape the complexity of creation. Each God can be seen as a magnetic lens, like the lens in an electron microscope, that focuses the pure energy of creation in a particular way. We then give these lenses different names. Lakshmi focuses it to create wealth. Kamadev focuses it to create love. Shiva focuses it into destruction, which liberates us from the static illusion we get stuck in. Those are a few examples. The point is that there are already focused expressions of the creator that can do anything we could possibly want, whereas pure potential is untapped and not so ready to direct. That would be like having pure electricity without any utensils that could use that electricity to perform the various tasks we have them for.

How to Work with the Gods: Devotion, Mantra & Sadhana

Bhakti Yoga – The Path of Devotion

The first one I need to talk about here is Bhakti yoga; the yoga of devotion. This is not about grovelling before some tyrannical God, but rather lifting ourselves into the higher love experienced at a God level, which is best achieved through devotion. This kind of devotion keeps us focused on the higher level. This is an important factor in the mastery of magick, as since everything is created from consciousness, like a dream, in order to shape that dream we have to realise its illusion and be more grounded in the more real; our God-selves. Without devotion, we stay stuck in thinking this world is real, so we can’t change it.

Siddhi Yoga – Mantra, Neural Pathways & Power

The next important yoga to help us make this shift is Siddhi yoga. Siddhi’s are occult powers. This yoga activates them through mantra practice. This is a reflection of how energy vibration shapes everything. It has been found that the Sanskrit letters have their shapes within the human brain, in the shapes of neural pathways and neuropeptide chains. Also, when the letters are chanted over a sand dish, they form the shapes of the letters in the sand. So mantra repetition resonates with certain neural pathways. When you repeat something many times, you gradually build a new neural pathway that makes that action more automatic and effortless. When you repeat a mantra many times you are building the neural pathways that produce occult powers and higher consciousness. It generally takes 125,000 repetitions of a mantra to activate its power.

This is the spiritual discipline we call a Sadhana. Throughout your life of spiritual devotion you would complete many Sadhanas of different mantras, aligned with your chosen deities. Sadhana combined with devotion are what keeps your spirituality real and fully connected, so manifesting your desires becomes easy and miracles become natural.

Empowerment, Initiation and the Dangers of Shortcut Spirituality

Of course, it doesn’t have to be all hard work on your own. Energy can be passed on from one person to another. This makes Sadhana quicker to achieve results. The passing on of this power is traditionally called Diksha. It would be given by someone who has spent many years mastering the powers, to help his students get there much faster. You can compare this with the modern concept of giving attunements to various spiritual energies, healing, magick, etc, but don’t confuse real Diksha from a master to an attunement from someone who collects attunements to sell as a business. Focusing it as a business without a life of devotion is the exact opposite of what we are trying to achieve, as it brings attention back down to the material illusion. The same attunements will not have the same power from different people. Often, students who I have given an empowerment to who had already bought that empowerment from such a seller report that my empowerment was far greater, and they could now really feel the power and use it. Of course, I don’t give every empowerment available, just those I have given a lifetime of devotion and Sadhana to. So choose very carefully who you would get an attunement from, as you could waste money and time and lose confidence in your spirituality. And certainly don’t believe those who will copy these words: that will be a sure sign of a charlatan.

Powerful Affirmations and Incantations to Manifest Abundance, Wealth, and Success

How to Make Affirmations Really Work

Magick often talks about incantations. An incantation is an affirmation but made with full use of emotion and body posture. This can be 1000 times more powerful than affirmations made alone without such focus. What this means is that you need to get into the mindset of the result you want, feel it with full emotion, and adopt a strong, positive body language which expresses that outcome.

For example, it’s not very effective to say “I am strong” with a timid voice and a submissive body posture. It is useful to notice how you make negative incantations that can seriously impair your life. For instance, if you are feeling in the victim role, and you say, “Nothing goes right for me” in a pitiful whine, feeling hopeless, with your head hung low, curled up in a corner, you have made a very powerful incantation to ensure nothing goes right. In a few seconds, you may have overruled hours of positive affirmations. This is the first principle to grasp.

Releasing Secondaries.

The next important principle is that each positive incantation will bring up all contrary beliefs and feelings, which may be stored deep in your subconscious. These are past creations that you havn’t finished with. For example, if you affirm that you are getting rich, all the feelings from past poverty or failures will be triggered. We call these secondary creations. The first appearance of these is doubt. Many people try to push these away and stick with the positive affirmation, but you will find it impossible to hold the positive emotion that raises the affirmation to incantation if you are struggling with contradictory feelings. You will just be pushing the negatives back into the subconscious, instead of releasing them. To release these past creations, you must feel the emotions. By observing and allowing the emotions, you will find they pass after a while. It’s only because you resist feeling that emotions stay stuck. Emotions just need to be felt until they pass. Once they have passed, you come back to the positive affirmation, and then there are no more secondaries arising: the positive feeling stays, and you get the desired outcome. Releasing Limiting Beliefs for Wealth

An important point to remember is that when there are no more secondaries, it only takes 33 seconds to manifest any goal, as that’s how long it takes for all the neurons to fire, so the message is taken into the subconscious. It takes much longer to release the secondaries, particularly when we are so conditioned to avoid feelings. It makes sense therefore, that to get results, more energy should be put into the release of the secondaries than into your primary goal. For this reason, we need to make affirmations that bring up all the secondaries, rather than expect them to instantly create positive belief. Here are some examples that work. Working through each one of these phrases and feeling and releasing the secondaries that come up will clear your subconscious of all resistance to creating wealth and success.

Wealth affirmation techniques

I need money
Sounds like a negative doesn’t it? However, what it brings up are all the thoughts about not
needing money, greed is a deadly sin, etc. It’s when you lack money you realise how necessary
it is. You can’t do anything without money in this modern world. You can’t learn, create a
business, find somewhere to live, eat or look after your health without some amount of money.
Once you release all the negative conditioning about money, you quietly accept this fact and
have no more inhibitions about manifesting money. Keep using this affirmation until there is
no more guilt or inhibition around money.
There are vast resources available to me.
By resources, I am not just talking about money. It can be information, the right contacts,
basic raw materials that you can create with etc. However, when we have a past history of lack,
this is all we feel and so don’t recognise the resources available to us, or don’t manifest the
opportunity of the information we need to find and use them. What this phrase will bring up is
all those past feelings of lack, and all the times you didn’t get what you wanted. Be sure to
welcome all these feelings until they pass. Then you will find whatever you need to move forward.
I receive all I want.
This will bring up any other feelings of lack and any remaining memories of not getting what
you wanted. It will also bring out the feeling that you have to do everything yourself, rather
than receive. This is another very important point: we don’t succeed entirely on our own.
There is always a level of receiving within our success. This is one point that many people
resist. They can’t receive or feel gratitude because they think it’s a weakness, and puts them
below the ones they receive from. The ego’s one solace is that when it finally succeeds, it can
take all the credit. Be sure to welcome, feel and release all these feelings, until you are fully
comfortable with receiving, and no longer get caught in old feelings of lack. Secondaries can
include resentment, low self-worth, hopelessness, martyrhood, pride, fear and anger.
I am happy to be me.
This is more important than at first you may think, as this phrase is the best one to trigger
all your feelings of low self-esteem, unworthiness, guilt and general inhibition about life,
all of which block your success. The first response to this thought is usually that you really
are not happy with yourself, and with that comes all the reasons why not. This will lead you to
all the memories of guilt for things you did wrong, times you were told you didn’t deserve,
various memories of being made to feel you weren’t good enough, and shame being passed on to
you from others. Welcome and release all these old feelings, and in the case of shame, you may
need to give it back to whoever dumped it on you.
I am valuable.
This one seems pretty straightforward, yet it nearly always meets resistance. Most people just
don’t feel valuable. The first secondary is usually depression. You will need to just feel the
depression before you move on to the memories and feelings behind it. Depression and apathy are
the least understood and hardest to release emotions, just because nobody knows how to deal
with it. They just want it to stop. The point to remember is that you only have to feel it.
Depression, like any other feeling, passes when you have fully felt it. You probably won’t find
any traumatic memories behind it. It’s more a case of never having been given value, so you don’t
even know what it feels like. Value is something we feel as a child when we are loved and
cherished. If you are not loved, held enough, or even wanted, your heart doesn’t get nourished
energetically, so its energy is still low, and you can’t feel that real self-esteem. Just feel
that lack, and the emptiness that comes with it. It too will pass. What you can also do is go
back in meditation to give your inner child all the love it didn’t get. Do this until you really
feel it when you say you are valuable.

Once you have released all these old creations and can feel positive emotion, stand tall,
adopting a confident and positive body posture, and speak your positive incantation with feeling
just once, imagine the positive outcome for just 33 seconds, and watch how your life changes.
