Parti BERSAMA Malaysia mengambil maklum kenyataan pengakuan Saudara Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad berhubung penglibatan beliau dalam satu kes yang tersebar baru-baru ini.

BERSAMA memandang serius perkembangan ini dan berpendirian bahawa setiap isu yang melibatkan kepimpinan serta anggota parti perlu ditangani dengan sewajarnya, demi memelihara integriti, kredibiliti dan keyakinan masyarakat terhadap parti.

Sehubungan itu, parti memutuskan untuk merehatkan Saudara Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad daripada semua aktiviti rasmi parti selama tiga (3) bulan, berkuat kuasa mulai 20 Oktober 2026 hingga 19 Januari 2027.

Iran mendakwa kapal perang Amerika Syarikat (AS) kini terpaksa berada lebih 500 kilometer dari pantainya, manakala pelan operasi baharu tentera Iran dijangka memaksa kapal perang AS berundur lebih jauh dari rantau berkenaan.

Dakwaan itu dibuat oleh jurucakap Tentera Iran, Brigedier Jeneral Mohammad Akraminia, dalam satu temu bual yang dilaporkan Press TV pada 16 Oktober 2026.

Menurut Akraminia, keupayaan, risikan dan kelebihan operasi angkatan tentera Iran menyebabkan kapal perang AS terpaksa berada pada jarak lebih 500 kilometer dari pantai Iran. Beliau turut mendakwa tiada kapal perang AS berada di Laut Oman ketika kenyataan itu dibuat.

Iran Dakwa Pertahanan Udara Semakin Kuat

Akraminia menolak dakwaan Presiden AS Donald Trump bahawa sistem pertahanan Iran telah menjadi lemah.

Sebaliknya, beliau berkata Iran telah memperkukuh sistem pertahanan udaranya melalui penambahbaikan peralatan, pembaikan aset yang rosak serta penambahan sistem baharu.

Menurutnya, sebahagian besar peralatan pertahanan udara yang mengalami kerosakan ketika perang AS-Israel terhadap Iran telah dibaiki dan dikembalikan kepada perkhidmatan.

Beliau turut menyatakan bahawa taktik operasi baharu dan gabungan operasi pertahanan udara telah dirancang serta menjalani latihan bagi meningkatkan keupayaan tentera Iran menghadapi ancaman.

Akraminia mendakwa perubahan tersebut telah meningkatkan keupayaan pertahanan udara Iran berbanding sebelum konflik dan ketika perang berlangsung.

Pelan Baharu Bakal Menjauhkan Kapal Perang AS?

Menurut jurucakap itu, angkatan tentera Iran mempunyai pelan operasi baharu yang dijangka memaksa kapal perang AS berundur lebih jauh dari rantau berkenaan dalam beberapa hari akan datang.

Beliau turut menegaskan bahawa tentera AS tidak berani menghampiri Selat Hormuz, meskipun Trump mendakwa Washington mengawal laluan perairan strategik itu.

Bagaimanapun, kenyataan mengenai jarak kapal perang dan kedudukan aset tentera AS tersebut merupakan dakwaan pihak Iran seperti yang dilaporkan Press TV.

Iran Seru Kerjasama Negara Serantau

Dalam kenyataan sama, Akraminia menyeru negara-negara serantau meningkatkan kerjasama bagi menjamin keselamatan bersama.

Beliau mencadangkan pembentukan mekanisme bersama untuk memudahkan pengunduran tentera AS dari rantau berkenaan. Menurutnya, keamanan dan kestabilan berkekalan hanya dapat dicapai melalui penamatan kehadiran serta campur tangan AS di rantau itu.

Perang AS-Israel terhadap Iran bermula pada 28 Februari 2026 dan berlangsung selama 40 hari sebelum gencatan senjata dicapai.

Laporan itu turut menyatakan bahawa Iran melancarkan serangan balas terhadap aset AS dan Israel di rantau berkenaan.

Iran juga mendakwa masih mempunyai kawalan ketat terhadap Selat Hormuz sejak awal konflik.

Kesimpulannya, Iran menyatakan bahawa pelan operasi baharu, penambahbaikan peralatan dan pengukuhan pertahanan udara akan meningkatkan keupayaan tenteranya serta menjauhkan kapal perang AS dari rantau berkenaan. Perkembangan seterusnya bergantung pada tindakan kedua-dua pihak.

8 Months Into the US–Iran War: America Hasn't Won, Iran Hasn't Fallen — Who Will Break First?

Bottom line: The United States has not won the war, and Iran has not been defeated. Both sides are locked in a war of attrition they cannot win and cannot exit — with the Strait of Hormuz as the decisive lever.

I. The Battlefield: US Bases Badly Damaged, Forces Forced to Adapt

Iran's counterstrikes have inflicted damage far beyond what Washington initially acknowledged. Satellite imagery analyzed by BBC Verify identified 20 US military sites damaged across eight countries; Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Bahrain and Oman with some analysts placing the figure as high as 28 . Three state-of-the-art THAAD anti-ballistic missile batteries were destroyed, each costing roughly $1 billion to manufacture .

The situation at Camp Buehring in Kuwait was particularly stark. Most of the roughly 7,000 troops stationed there were dispersed before the war began, but over 100 soldiers who remained were forced to abandon the base amid repeated Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. Facing critical ammunition shortages, including Patriot interceptors and .50-caliber rounds, the remaining troops withdrew into the Kuwaiti desert at night and established forward operating bases . One soldier told CBS:

"They hit us hard… we had to abandon the base"

According to The Intercept, US officials now acknowledge that some key bases sustained damage so severe that "the presence of bases in the region may never be restored" .

On casualties, the Pentagon raised the official US death toll to 21 killed and 865 wounded in October, acknowledging two previously unreported deaths . The Washington Post had earlier reported internal figures exceeding the publicly disclosed count.

II. The Two Positions: One "Won't Give Up," One "Won't Let Go"

Iran's nuclear position remains firm. Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, stated on October 8 that Iran will under no circumstances abandon uranium enrichment or hand over its enriched uranium stockpile. He described enrichment as "the starting point of the nuclear industrial process" and a right Iran will not relinquish .

US strategy is constrained by domestic politics. On October 8, Trump publicly promised not to attack Iran before the November 3 midterm elections, saying the two sides were engaged in "productive consultations" . But The New York Times reported that the US military was preparing to restart combat operations against Iran, with plans targeting drone and missile depots, energy infrastructure and military facilities — awaiting only Trump's final decision .

Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi confirmed that indirect talks were continuing through mediators, with Iran having proposed a "seven-day plan" and currently evaluating the US response .

III. The Strait of Hormuz: Iran's Strategic Lever

Iran's core battlefield asset is not the ability to repel US forces, but the ability to keep choking the Strait of Hormuz.

Attacks on shipping have continued relentlessly. On October 5 alone, UKMTO reported six merchant vessels attacked in and around the strait . A tanker was struck by an unknown projectile, causing an engine room fire, while another vessel was hailed by the IRGC and instructed to turn back or be targeted . Further attacks were reported on October 13 .

This strategy has kept oil prices elevated. Brent crude settled at $105.47 a barrel on October 13, its highest since mid-September . For Trump, contending with midterm elections, high oil prices are a direct political liability.

IV. The Economic Dimension: The "Collapse Thesis" Fails

US Treasury Secretary Bessent predicted in late September that Iran's economy would collapse within two weeks. That prediction did not materialize. The IMF's latest forecast projects Iran's economy contracting 7.6% in 2026 with inflation at 78.6%, but returning to 3.6% growth in 2027 with inflation falling to 42%. Iran's economy has been badly wounded but has not reached a breaking point.

V. The Great Powers: A Cautious Stance

On whether China and Russia are militarily backing Iran, Trump said on October 12 he had "seen no support" and that "they have too much to lose." While reports have suggested intelligence sharing, neither Beijing nor Moscow has acknowledged military support, positioning themselves as mediators rather than participants.

Conclusion

The core contradiction of the US–Iran war is this: America has overwhelming conventional military superiority but cannot convert it into political victory; Iran has suffered enormous damage but maintains asymmetric deterrence through control of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump's choice to "freeze" the conflict before the midterms is a tactical pause forced by domestic politics, not a strategic resolution. After the election, whether Washington restarts large-scale military action or is forced to accept negotiations will be the key test of where this war of attrition ultimately leads. And every attacked tanker in the Strait of Hormuz is a reminder: the end of this war will not be decided by who "wins" more on the battlefield, but by who first cannot bear the cost of "hanging on."

Pelaburan berkaitan kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang sebelum ini menjadi antara tumpuan utama pasaran saham kini berdepan tekanan hebat.

Laporan Reuters pada 16 Oktober 2026 menyebut dana lindung nilai global mengalami kerugian minggu ini apabila pelabur mula mengurangkan pegangan dalam saham AI dan semikonduktor.

Lebih membimbangkan, dana yang memberi tumpuan kepada pasaran Asia mencatatkan antara kerugian paling besar.

Menurut nota Goldman Sachs yang dipetik Reuters, dana ekuiti global yang menggunakan strategi long-short mencatatkan kerugian selama beberapa hari berturut-turut, dengan penurunan sekitar 2.9% bagi minggu berakhir 15 Oktober.

Under Malaysia's proposed Budget 2027 measures, the answer could be yes.

The government has proposed expanding the individual lifestyle tax relief to include subscriptions to artificial intelligence (AI) software and applications. The proposal was announced when Prime Minister and Finance Minister Anwar Ibrahim presented Budget 2027 on October 9, 2026.

However, there are a few important details taxpayers should understand before assuming their subscriptions will qualify.

1. What Did Budget 2027 Propose?

The proposed expansion would allow lifestyle tax relief to cover subscriptions to AI software and applications for personal use, including subscriptions for the taxpayer, their spouse or their children.

AI subscriptions are becoming part of everyday digital spending. People use them to write, research, learn languages, create content, analyse information and improve productivity.

Including AI subscriptions in lifestyle tax relief could make these tools more affordable for eligible taxpayers.

However, the practical benefit depends on the final rules, the amount a taxpayer actually spends and how much unused relief remains within the applicable limit.

The best approach is to keep your records, monitor official announcements and avoid making a claim until the eligibility requirements are clear.

Claude in Another Level!! This Guy NEVER Edited a Video Before… Then Claude Made This!

Have you ever watched a short video and thought, "This must be AI"? The motion is too smooth, the fonts all look the same, and the music feels forced. People in the industry call this AI slop.

So the big question is: Can AI make a video that people don't realize was made by a machine?

An article from XDA, Shivansh Raj Srivastava, a content lead, tried to answer this. He admits he had never edited a video in his life. But the result surprised even him. Under his reel, creators asked his boss if he had hired a new editor. Others asked if the post was even real. Let's look at what he did.

Part 1: Send Claude to "editing school" first**

He uploaded a 24.6-second 4K clip for a reel. But he did not ask Claude to edit it right away. His instruction was:

"Find and install video editing skills first, then edit, while asking me lots of questions. Give me options for everything."

Why does this matter? An AI with no context tends to give the most average answer. And average is exactly what AI slop looks like. A skill is a folder of instructions that Claude reads only when a task needs it. In this case, Claude read six editing guides, covering motion design, zooms, captions, b-roll, and Remotion's rules.

Part 2: Choose, don't let Claude decide everything

Every creative choice came as two or three clickable options with a mockup. This included the visual style, caption style, music, and where the hook goes. He said picking an option is cheaper than asking the AI to regenerate.

Part 3: Claude can't watch the video, so it measures everything

This is the most interesting part for me. Claude can't actually watch a video like a human. It only reads text and still images. So he made sure every decision was based on measurements, not guesses.

Here is how:

Transcription with timestamps for every word. His Hinglish audio was transcribed, so each graphic could land exactly on the syllable he stressed.
Hand tracking with MediaPipe. Google's tool checked all 1,476 frames to find when his finger left the phone. The moments were 0.18, 1.41, 2.82, 4.42, and 5.86 seconds. App logos then launched right after each moment, so they looked like they were swiped off the screen. A human editor would need a long time to do this by hand.
Frame-by-frame rendering. Each graphic is a web page rendered by time. So each frame depends only on its timestamp, and fixing one frame does not break its neighbors.
Contact sheets for checking. Claude made small image grids to check its own work before showing him.
Audio measurement. Claude can't hear, so it measured the loudness and adjusted it to -14 LUFS, Instagram's target.

Part 4: Fences for revisions

Here he learned something about how Claude thinks. Claude tends to take the easiest path to meet a request. So he put fences around its work.

"Make exactly these three edits, no more and no less."

The result was three changes, done in 25 minutes. For the hook text, he asked for:

"Give me three options."

Three text styles were rendered on top of his real frame.

Part 5: When Claude criticized its own work

This is the turning point. The next morning, he asked for a livelier reel, with two extra rules:

"Don't take the shortest path. Make sure it looks like a real human edit, not AI slop. Research why AI videos get spotted online first. And don't ask me a single question."

Claude looked into the signs of AI-made video, then criticized its own draft. Its mistakes included using the Inter font everywhere, italic serif accents, glass cards with blur, and the same movement repeated over and over.

After 51 minutes, Claude rebuilt the reel. This time it used die-cut paper stickers, handwritten notes, and graphics that moved 12 frames per second, like stop-motion. There was also a music effect that cut out suddenly on the words "but, but, but." This is the version that went viral.

Part 6: Turn the process into a system

A prompt only works once. So he wrote a 578-word brief and had Claude build A-Roll Studio, a plugin with three skills. The system opens with three creative directions rendered on his footage. Then it asks him to approve the color grade, the sound, a timestamped copy log, and one of three hook styles.

It also has anti-slop rules that limit how many graphics, zooms, and sound effects can appear in every 10 seconds. His decisions are saved in the project file, so a new session won't ask the same questions again.

How much did he save?

He used the $20 a month Claude plan. The first cut took about an hour, roughly a third of a half-day editor's work. A freelancer for a short reel with custom motion graphics usually charges between $150 and well over $1,000. He estimated the cost was about 30 times lower. This is his own calculation, not an official figure.

So who was the new editor his boss asked about?

Him. He knew how Claude thinks, and Claude did every keyframe. The lesson is simple. If your AI edits still look generic, don't switch models right away. Block the shortcuts, ask for options, and make the AI study human taste before it shows you a single frame.

Imagine working for one of the world's most valuable companies, but still having to pay for your own lunch. That is part of life at Nvidia, the technology company behind many of the chips used in artificial intelligence (AI).

While some big tech companies offer free meals to their employees, Nvidia takes a different approach. Its cafeteria meals are subsidised, which means workers pay less than the full cost, but the food is not completely free.

Why Doesn't Nvidia Offer Free Lunch?

Nvidia has become a major player in the AI industry under CEO Jensen Huang.

Its chips are widely used in data centres to train and run AI models. As demand for AI technology grows, Nvidia has become one of the most valuable companies in the world. However, the company does not follow every workplace perk offered by its competitors.

For example, Google is known for providing free meals at many of its offices. Nvidia employees, on the other hand, generally have to pay for cafeteria food. Some drinks and snacks also come with a price.

This policy is not new. Reports suggest that Nvidia has followed this approach for more than a decade.

Employees May Get More Value From Company Shares

Although free lunch is not part of the package, Nvidia offers another benefit that could be worth much more. Its employee stock purchase plan allows eligible workers to buy company shares at a discount. According to Fortune, the plan offers a 15% discount with a two-year lookback feature.

There is no single answer.

Free meals can help employees save money and make office life more convenient. They can also encourage people from different teams to meet and share ideas.

On the other hand, discounted company shares can provide greater financial benefits if the business performs well. But shares are not guaranteed income, and not every employee will benefit equally.

New Phone? Here Are 7 Privacy Settings You Should Check Before Apps Expose Your Data

I used to think that installing an app was simple. You download it, open it, tap a few buttons, and start using it. Then the permission requests begin.

Allow location?
Allow contacts?
Allow camera?
Allow microphone?

Most of the time, we just tap Allow because we want to get things done. I have probably done it too. We rarely stop to ask whether the app really needs access to all that information. The thing is, your phone may contain more personal information than you realise. It can hold your photos, messages, location history, contacts, and even details about the places you visit.

You do not need to be a tech expert to protect this information. A few minutes in your phone settings can help you take better control of your privacy. Here are seven settings I would check first.

1. Check Which Apps Can Access Your Location

Location access is useful. Google Maps needs it to give you directions, and a weather app may use it to show local forecasts. But does every app need to know where you are?

Probably not.

Some apps may request location access even when their main features do not really need it. It is worth checking which apps have this permission.

On Android, open Settings and look for Location or Permission Manager. The exact menu name depends on your phone.

On iPhone, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.

Look through the list and ask yourself one simple question: does this app really need my location?

For apps that do, choose an option such as While Using the App when available. You can also turn off precise location for apps that only need a general idea of your area. It is a small change, but it gives you more control over when your location is shared.

2. Stop Giving Every App Access to Your Camera and Microphone

Your camera and microphone are not permissions I would hand out without thinking. A video calling app needs them. A camera app obviously needs the camera. But a simple calculator or wallpaper app? That is a different story.

Check which apps have permission to use your camera and microphone.

On Android, look under Settings > Privacy or Permission Manager. Some phones also have camera and microphone privacy controls in Quick Settings.

On iPhone, open Settings > Privacy & Security, then check Camera and Microphone.

Turn off access for apps that do not need these features. This does not mean every app asking for permission is dangerous. Some permissions have perfectly reasonable uses. The important thing is to understand why an app needs access before allowing it.

3. Be Careful About Photo and File Access

Think about how many personal photos you keep on your phone. There may be family pictures, screenshots of receipts, documents, travel photos, or images containing information you would rather keep private.

When an app asks for access to your photos, check whether it needs your entire photo library.

On iPhone, some apps let you select only certain photos instead of giving access to everything.

On Android, the available options depend on your phone version and the app. Where supported, choose selected photos or limited access instead of allowing access to all your media.

This is especially useful when an app only needs one picture for your profile or a post. Why give it access to hundreds of other photos when it only needs one?

4. Review Which Apps Can Read Your Contacts

Your contact list is not just a collection of phone numbers. It may contain the names of family members, friends, colleagues, customers, and other people you know.

Some apps need contacts to help you find friends or make calls. Others can work perfectly well without them. Go through your app permissions and check which apps can access your contacts. If an app has no clear reason to use your contact list, consider turning off that permission.

You can usually find this under Permission Manager on Android or Settings > Privacy & Security > Contacts on iPhone.

One thing to remember: removing contact permission does not necessarily delete information that an app has already collected. It mainly controls future access through that permission.

That is why it is better to review permissions before giving them away in the first place.

5. Check Your Advertising and Tracking Settings

Have you ever searched for a product and then started seeing advertisements for similar items? There can be several reasons for this. Advertising systems may use activity within apps, websites, and other signals to decide which ads to show you. You cannot stop every form of online tracking with one button. Still, there are settings worth checking.

On iPhone, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You can review which apps have requested permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites.

On Android, look for Ads or advertising privacy settings. The exact options depend on your Android version and device.

You can also review your Google Account's ad and activity settings. These controls have limits. Turning off a particular tracking option does not mean you will stop seeing advertisements or that all data collection will end. The aim is to reduce unnecessary tracking where the available controls allow it.

6. Review the Apps You No Longer Use

This one is easy to forget. You download an app for a holiday, use it once, and leave it sitting on your phone for the next two years. Meanwhile, you may have forgotten that it still has certain permissions.

Take a look at your installed apps. If you no longer use an app, uninstall it if you do not need to keep it. For apps you want to keep, review their permissions and remove access that is no longer necessary.

Some Android phones also offer automatic permission removal or permission resetting for unused apps. If your phone supports it, this can be a useful extra layer of protection. Fewer unnecessary apps can also mean less clutter and fewer notifications.

7. Check Your Google or Apple Account Activity

Phone privacy is not only about the settings inside individual apps. Your main account matters too.

If you use an Android phone, review the activity and privacy controls in your Google Account. Check which devices are signed in and whether there is activity you do not recognise.

If you use an iPhone, review the devices linked to your Apple Account.

Remove devices you no longer own or recognise, and make sure your account has a strong password. Two-factor authentication is also worth enabling.

It is a good habit to check this from time to time, especially if you have changed phones, sold an old device, or signed in on a shared computer.

If something looks unfamiliar, do not immediately assume that your account has been hacked. Check the details first, then secure your account if necessary.

How Often Should You Check These Settings?

You do not need to check every permission every day. I would review them when installing a new app, after a major phone update, or whenever I notice an app asking for access that seems unnecessary.

A quick check every few months is also a reasonable habit.

The most important thing is not to approve every request automatically. Stop for a moment and ask what the app needs, why it needs it, and whether there is a more limited option.

Final Thoughts

Your phone is part of your daily life. You use it for banking, shopping, work, conversations, photos, and plenty of other personal things. That does not mean you should be afraid of every app you install. It simply means you should be a little more careful about what you allow.

Start with location, camera, microphone, photos, and contacts. Then check tracking settings and remove apps you no longer use. You may not be able to prevent every form of data collection, but you can make more informed choices about the information your phone shares.

Kerajaan mengumumkan gaji minimum negara akan dinaikkan daripada RM1,700 kepada RM2,000 sebulan mulai Jun 2027. Kenaikan RM300 ini dijangka memberi manfaat kepada lebih empat juta pekerja, tetapi pada masa sama menimbulkan persoalan tentang kos operasi syarikat, harga barang dan kedudukan fiskal negara.

Persoalannya, adakah kenaikan gaji ini akan meningkatkan kuasa beli rakyat tanpa memberi tekanan terlalu besar kepada perniagaan?

1. Kos majikan sebenarnya lebih daripada RM300

Ramai melihat kenaikan ini sebagai tambahan RM300 kepada gaji pekerja. Namun, bagi majikan, gaji hanyalah sebahagian daripada kos penggajian. Sebagai contoh, bagi pekerja warganegara berumur bawah 60 tahun yang tertakluk kepada kadar caruman KWSP majikan 13%, anggarannya adalah seperti berikut:

Angka ini ialah anggaran berdasarkan kadar 13%. Pengiraan caruman sebenar perlu mengikut jadual caruman rasmi KWSP. Kos lain seperti PERKESO, SIP, kerja lebih masa dan faedah pekerja belum dimasukkan.

2. Bagaimana jika syarikat mempunyai 10, 50 atau 100 pekerja?

Kesan kenaikan gaji menjadi lebih besar apabila bilangan pekerja meningkat.

Bagi syarikat yang mempunyai margin keuntungan kecil, tambahan kos tahunan berpuluh ribu ringgit boleh memberi kesan kepada aliran tunai. Perniagaan mungkin perlu meningkatkan produktiviti, menyusun semula operasi atau menilai semula harga jualan.

Bagaimanapun, kesannya tidak sama untuk semua sektor. Syarikat yang mempunyai produktiviti tinggi dan keuntungan kukuh mungkin lebih mudah menyerap kenaikan berbanding perniagaan yang bergantung kepada tenaga kerja secara intensif.

3. Adakah syarikat akan menaikkan harga barang dan perkhidmatan?

Jika banyak syarikat menaikkan harga serentak, pengguna mungkin merasakan sebahagian daripada manfaat kenaikan gaji itu terhakis akibat peningkatan kos sara hidup.

4. Apa kesannya kepada fiskal negara?

Kenaikan gaji minimum bukan bermaksud kerajaan perlu membayar tambahan RM300 kepada semua pekerja swasta. Sebahagian besar kos langsung akan ditanggung oleh majikan yang terlibat. Walau bagaimanapun, terdapat beberapa kesan kepada kewangan awam yang perlu dipertimbangkan.

Potensi pertambahan hasil cukai. Apabila pendapatan pekerja meningkat, perbelanjaan pengguna mungkin bertambah. Kemungkinan peningkatan perbelanjaan berkaitan kos sara hidup. Jika kenaikan gaji disusuli peningkatan harga yang meluas, tekanan terhadap isi rumah berpendapatan rendah mungkin berterusan dan keperluan bantuan kerajaan tidak semestinya berkurang.

Oleh itu, kesan bersih kepada fiskal negara bergantung pada keseimbangan antara pertumbuhan penggunaan, produktiviti, kutipan hasil, perbelanjaan kerajaan dan keadaan pasaran pekerjaan.

5. Bagaimana pula dengan caruman KWSP?

Kenaikan gaji turut meningkatkan caruman KWSP bagi pekerja yang menerima pelarasan tersebut. Dalam contoh pekerja warganegara bawah 60 tahun dengan kadar caruman majikan 13%, caruman majikan meningkat daripada anggaran RM221 kepada RM260 sebulan. Pekerja juga akan mencarum lebih banyak berdasarkan kadar dan jadual yang berkenaan.

Kesan ini mempunyai dua sudut.

Bagi pekerja, caruman yang lebih tinggi boleh membantu meningkatkan simpanan persaraan. Namun, jumlah wang yang diterima terus dalam tangan tidak semestinya meningkat sebanyak RM300 kerana bahagian caruman pekerja turut berubah.

Bagi majikan, tambahan caruman ialah sebahagian daripada kos penggajian yang perlu dimasukkan dalam perancangan kewangan.

Penting juga untuk membezakan caruman KWSP daripada hasil kerajaan: wang KWSP ialah simpanan persaraan ahli, bukannya hasil cukai kerajaan yang boleh digunakan secara langsung untuk membiayai perbelanjaan negara.

6. Pengecualian PMKS boleh mengubah kesan pelaksanaan

Kerajaan mengumumkan bahawa perusahaan mikro, kecil dan sederhana (PMKS) dengan hasil jualan tahunan di bawah RM50 juta dikecualikan daripada pelaksanaan kadar baharu ini bagi memberi ruang kepada mereka menyesuaikan model perniagaan.

Butiran pelaksanaan dan skop pengecualian perlu dirujuk kepada peraturan rasmi apabila dimuktamadkan. Pengecualian ini penting kerana perniagaan kecil mungkin mempunyai ruang kewangan yang lebih terhad untuk menyerap peningkatan kos gaji dan caruman berkanun.

Dalam masa sama, pelaksanaan perlu mengambil kira kepentingan pekerja yang bergantung pada gaji minimum untuk memenuhi keperluan asas.

Maka? Gaji naik, Harga Barang Naik & Kuasa Beli?

Kenaikan gaji minimum kepada RM2,000 boleh membantu meningkatkan pendapatan pekerja dan menyokong perbelanjaan isi rumah. Namun, kesannya tidak boleh dinilai berdasarkan kenaikan gaji semata-mata.

Bagi majikan, kos sebenar termasuk tambahan caruman KWSP dan kos penggajian lain. Bagi pengguna, persoalan utama ialah sama ada harga barang dan perkhidmatan kekal terkawal. Bagi kerajaan pula, cabarannya ialah memastikan peningkatan pendapatan berlaku bersama pertumbuhan produktiviti dan kemampanan fiskal.

Why Is AI Important to This Project?

Traditionally, developing a large collection of creative applications would require substantial engineering time.

PRN Melaka: Retorik PH, BN dan PN Makin Hangat, Formula Kerjasama Celaru

PRN Melaka semakin menghampiri tarikh pengundian, namun persoalan mengenai kerjasama politik, pembahagian kerusi dan penggunaan logo parti masih menjadi perhatian.

Pakatan Harapan (PH), Barisan Nasional (BN) dan Perikatan Nasional (PN) masing-masing mengeluarkan kenyataan mengenai persiapan menghadapi pilihan raya negeri itu. Namun, beberapa perkara penting masih menunggu keputusan muktamad.

BN masih berunding dengan PH dan PN

Pengerusi BN, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi sebelum ini memaklumkan bahawa perbincangan dengan PH dan PAS telah diadakan. Beliau menyifatkan rundingan berkenaan hampir selesai, tetapi keputusan akhir belum diumumkan ketika kenyataan itu dibuat.

BN juga berdepan persoalan mengenai formula kerjasama yang akan digunakan di Melaka, sama ada bersama PH, PAS atau melalui aturan politik tertentu mengikut kerusi.

Pada PRN Melaka 2021, BN memenangi 21 daripada 28 kerusi DUN, menjadikan kedudukan kerusi yang dimenangi sebelum ini antara perkara penting dalam rundingan kali ini.

PN mahu bertanding lebih empat kerusi

Timbalan Pengerusi PN, Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man pada 9 Oktober memaklumkan bahawa gabungan itu akan bertanding lebih empat kerusi pada PRN Melaka.

Bagaimanapun, jumlah sebenar kerusi masih belum dimuktamadkan dan rundingan dengan UMNO serta BN diteruskan.

Perkembangan ini menimbulkan persoalan tentang bagaimana pembahagian kerusi akan disusun, terutama apabila BN turut mahu mempertahankan kerusi yang dimenanginya pada pilihan raya lalu.

PAS kekal menolak PH, isu logo turut menjadi perhatian

Presiden PAS, Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang sebelum ini menegaskan pendirian parti itu menolak PH dalam PRN Melaka. Pada masa sama, PAS terbuka mempertimbangkan bentuk kerjasama tertentu bagi menghadapi pilihan raya berkenaan.

Isu penggunaan logo juga menjadi perhatian. PAS dilaporkan bersedia mempertimbangkan penggunaan logo bulan sekiranya keadaan memerlukan, manakala persoalan penggunaan logo PN berkait dengan isu pentadbiran dan tindakan undang-undang melibatkan gabungan itu.

PH pula sasar sekurang-kurangnya 18 kerusi

Dalam perkembangan berasingan, Pengarah Pilihan Raya PH, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari dilaporkan berkata PH menyasarkan untuk bertanding sekurang-kurangnya 18 kerusi, dengan kemungkinan jumlah itu meningkat kepada 20 kerusi atau lebih.

Sasaran tersebut menambah satu lagi perkara yang perlu diperhatikan dalam rundingan politik di Melaka, khususnya jika BN dan PH mahu mencapai persetujuan pembahagian kerusi.

Setakat kenyataan yang dilaporkan, sasaran kerusi itu belum dengan sendirinya menjelaskan formula akhir kerjasama antara kedua-dua pihak.

Isu dalaman PN turut membayangi persiapan

Selain rundingan kerusi, PN turut berdepan isu berkaitan penggantungan aktiviti gabungan oleh Jabatan Pendaftaran Pertubuhan Malaysia (RoS).

Pada 5 Oktober, pemimpin PN memfailkan permohonan semakan kehakiman untuk mencabar tindakan RoS tersebut. Isu berkenaan penting kerana status gabungan dan penggunaan lambang boleh mempengaruhi persiapan pilihan raya.

Dalam pemfailan mahkamah yang dilaporkan media, Takiyuddin Hassan turut mengemukakan dakwaan berkaitan tindakan Bersatu yang didakwa melemahkan gabungan. Perkara itu perlu difahami sebagai dakwaan dalam prosiding, bukannya keputusan mahkamah yang telah mengesahkannya.

PRN Melaka: Banyak kenyataan, keputusan akhir masih dinanti

SPR menetapkan 14 November 2026 sebagai hari mengundi PRN Melaka, manakala penamaan calon dijadualkan pada 31 Oktober. Tempoh berkempen ditetapkan selama 14 hari bermula 31 Oktober hingga 13 November.

Dengan tarikh pilihan raya semakin dekat, perhatian kini tertumpu kepada keputusan akhir rundingan kerusi, pendirian rasmi setiap gabungan serta penggunaan logo parti.

Bagi pengundi, persoalan yang lebih penting ialah sejauh mana kerjasama yang diumumkan benar-benar diterjemahkan kepada susunan calon dan tawaran dasar yang jelas.

Buat masa ini, PH, BN dan PN masih perlu memperjelas beberapa perkara sebelum gambaran sebenar persaingan PRN Melaka dapat dinilai dengan lebih tepat.
