moderates could easily be converted into becoming radicals or terrorists. At

about the same time, we saw a former Muslim/now Christian woman on the

700 Club who said the self-same thing but added that many so-called

moderates were concealing their true identities as radicals or terrorists and

might be part of terror-cells.

Gov propaganda: Most Muslims are peace-loving/equality believing moderates.

If true, explain the following: Most so-called moderate mosques in the U.S.

receive part of their funding from the terrorist-supporting muslim brotherhood

(lower-case letters intentional)! Why don't they announce that they are

disassociating themselves from the mb which aided and abetted hitler during

WW2 and which presently sponsors the killers of Jewish men, women and

children: hamas and hesbollah.

We were appalled by what is transpiring on American college campuses as seen

on JLTV (Jewish - the Chosen cable network). We were already cognizant of the fact

that over 60% of elementary public school and over 75% of public high school

teachers along with over 90% of college professors were liberal-biased. Public

schools and colleges - and this should concern moderates and conservatives - are

not institutions of education but bastions for liberal indoctrination wherein over

60% of American history text books on average are negative concerning American

history.

The doc* informed that most Jews don't favor censorship and are strong

advocates of free speech but do think that colleges should teach students how to think

and not what do think by presenting all not just one perspective an an issue.

What is happening in college classrooms - professors and auditoriums - guest

speakers -- is just plain disgusting. Rarely do professors expose students to

alternate views and rarely are those with the opposing view invited to speak and

when they are radical students negate their freedom of speak rights while the

college administration largely looks the other way.

Young impressionable minds are being taught the Israelis turn Palestinian children

into meat; they are slaughtered according to Jewish rites. They are engaging in ethnic

cleansing regarding Palestinians. Students are being taught that Zionism is a disease.

Jews are blamed for the problems of others (Hitler used the self-same tactic). Jews

are pigs. They are being told that Jews should be purged from gov and media. A map

of the Middle East replacing Israel with Palestine has been distributed on many colleges

campuses in California, New York, Washington, Vermont and Massachusetts -five

of the most lib states -- libs are big proponents of free speech: their own (just

look at most of television, newspapers, music and movies which is lib-controlled).

Students are being told that Israeli policy toward Palestinians is as bad as

apartheid when in fact Palestinians enjoy self-gov on their land and those living in

Israel are offered citizenship. Arabs and Christians are represented in Israeli congress

and comprise 20% of the electorate. Students risk getting a lower grade or failing if they

don't agree with professor.

Americans contact universities and colleges and tell them how real Americans

feel about free speech.

Citizen Journalist is not religious but he asks the questions: Is a dose of religion

When our nation was founded, most of the 13 states had an official religion. In many

cases, you had to pay a religious tax whether or not you attended church - only one

church (Christian denomination) was permitted in the state. You had to be a member

of that church to hold a government job in that state.

Lousy Little Lying Liberals lie about what Tom meant by separation-of-church-

and-state. In 1801, the Danbury Baptist Association of Danbury, write to Tom express-

ing concern over the 'Establishment Clause.' Tom responded, "Believing with you

that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God...I contemplate

with sovereign reverence that the act of the whole American people which declared

that their {U.S.} legislature should 'make no law respecting an establishment of religion or

prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between church

and state."

Libs have distorted what he meant; claiming religion had no place in the public

arena, including, public buildings. What he actually meant was that due to the

'Establishment Clause' fed gov could not select a particular Christian denomination

and declare it to be the official religion of the nation. In which case, a state might

have to except two churches. He didn't question a state's right to establish a

religion.

Further evidence of the lib lie: As Prez Tom ordered (the president was in charge

of the Board of Ed in DC back then) that the public schools begin and end the

school day with a prayer and that the Bible be employed to help teach English - just

like in the states! The vast majority of Americans were Protestant. Was he wrong?

I think that the Founding Father's understood the Declaration of Independence, The

U.S. Constitution, including the Bill of Rights and the Federalist Papers better than

Supreme Court Justices in modern time. How dare they presume to know better!

A Preacher approached Tom about an Indian tribe not on fed territory that was

interested in learning about Christianity and that he needed financial assistance.

Tom gave him fed funds to build a church and to cover his salary for one year.

We are credible on this issue for we are deists and non-religious. We can

address this matter in a manner that most others can't. We opt to place the

children first and foremost. PRAYER and the BIBLE NEEDS to be in PUBLIC
SCHOOLS!!! The way it was prior to 1964.

Most of the Founding Father's were Christians (a believe in God based on faith;

believe in miracles and prophesy and divine intervention) and some were deists (a

believe based on reason). Ben Franklin was an atheist who often quoted from the

Bible to make a point. He was disturbed that sessions of the Constitutional Convention

weren't starting with a prayer like the First and Second Continental Congresses had

been - he rectified the situation!

WHAT IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILDREN? - THAT SHOULD BE OUR

Apply reason: Without question juvenile delinquency of all types has risen since the '60s;

grades have plummeted (details downstairs). A child can stand politely if parent

doesn't wish child to participate in prayer. Libs have systematically encourages porno,

children's rights (what rights? Privileges as granted by parents and teaches) undermined

parental authority, attacked religious belief and the traditional marriage and family.

The first and largest teaches union formed in the early '60s. Prior to the 60s public

schools were nearly as good as Catholic schools when it came to education and

discipline. On average, private school (most private schools are Catholic) kids score

higher on national standardized tests and state-wide tests than do charter and home-

schooled kids who in turn score higher than children in magnetic schools. Regular

public school children bring up the rear!

We are in sync with deists prior to a hundred years ago not sure about today's. Let's

attempt everything to help our youngsters. Let's negate the growing immorality

being taught our young as early as 5! Stop invading the world of the innocent!

A recent Gallop Poll asked: "Is it your preference that government promote traditional moral

Undedcided - 10%. We aren't shocked. The younger get a bum rap!

We don't think that gov should legislate morality nor do we think that it should

legislate immorality! Social libs favor it but would deny while the in-the-closet social libs called

libertarians wouldn't favor undoing such legislation.

A few examples: 1) Ending "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." It should be reinstated pronto (be

fair; keep reading; be open minded). Gov and society shouldn't be in the business of condon-

ing and sanctioning that which is abnormal, immoral and aberrant (see below); 2) Legislation

of the 1960s-70s which endangered children with welfare mothers, further, it represents one

of the ways that lib congresses and judges have attacked and weakened traditional families.

We reiterate: endangered infants, babies, toddlers, children and teens (see below). Unwed

mothers should be encouraged to and unwed welfare mothers should be forced to give up

their babies for adoption for the sake of the babies! It often promotes divorce or the women

claiming abandonment in order to secure additional social services when the husband or

boyfriend is in reality still around (he isn't home or hides when the social worker makes the

required visitation - we are a compassionate people, we shouldn't be suckers {tax payer $$$s}).

It becomes a generational thing: there are many cases of children, parents and grandparents

all on the dole; an inappropriate environment in which to grow up. Unwed fathers shouldn't

enjoy visitation rights nor should their bastards and bitches lay future claims to their estates

(no matter how meager or plush). Since these children will be entering foster care or adoption,

the unwed father shouldn't be compelled to pay child support but forced to contribute to the

support of orphanages. Unwed mothers should be encouraged to give up babies for adoption even

if financially capable; (Be patient: the more offensive stuff is coming).3) When the 13

colonies became the thirteen states, most of them had a particular Protestant denomination as

their official religion, most of them didn't allow other denominations, required

everyone to pay a church tax to support the churches and

required membership in the church to hold a gov job. Libs distort what Tom Jefferson meant by

separation-of-church-and-state: for example, it was he who ordered that the school day begin

The movie, television and music industries generate the impression that over 90% of

13 to 35 year olds are lazy, unable to hold down a job and dying their hair purple; taking drugs,

disrespecting parents and teachers, getting into fights, having pre-marital sex, committing crimes,

etc.; are into rap and/or reggae and/or pop and/or heavy metal and watching trash on television

and the big screen which isn't so big anymore. (Be patient for Offending with Truth).

Nota Bene': Prior to the 1980s, over 50% of the T.V. sets turned on were tuned into the

number one rated show; today, it's below 30%. The so-called experts say that it is only the

result of competition from cable. Isn't it possible that as the quality of shows (writing, directing

and acting - listed in order of importance) had declined? (Five, ten or more takes,

pay us the big bucks and we can screw up lines with the best of them!) Quality declined between

1980 and the present and the shows became blatantly family unfriendly that people were moving

to cable not for even baser material but for news, sports, docs, family shows, old T.V. series and

movies.

Experts tell us that 13 to 44 year olds, especially, 18 to 35 year olds purchase the most

CDs and download the most music. How is it that Country and Christian Contemporary are

multi-billion dollar industries! They have Gold and Platinum records too! Maybe, not as many as

rap but someone must be purchasing them. Isn't feasible that 50-60% of younger people are

into crap while 40% or more are digging (where hip, man) Country and/or Contemporary Christian

and/or Modern Jazz! Some of who don't want their friends to know about it. What about all the

good kids, many of whom are members of church groups that you don't hear about on the news

or see in today's movies and T.V. (except when they're being made sport of).

This weeks edition (10/1) of "Religion and Ethics Weekly" reports that Illinois is about to

discontinue its $8 million in funding for "Catholic Charities" adoption/foster care program

(which constitutes about 80% of CC's budget for those programs) on the grounds that CC

will not allow homo and unmarried couples to adopt. Virtually everyone recognizes that

CC's program is outstanding.

This clearly represents discrimination against a religious (non-secular) organization

on the part of the state. It also violates the U.S. Constitution and State of Illinois

Constitution which prohibits interference with the practicing of one's religion.

Let's put the interests of the child first. Back in the '80s, feminist orgs maintained

that women could be super-women: have a successful career and be good mothers too -

husband optional. One of the founder's of the modern women's movement, Gloria Steinan

stated, "A women needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle." The hypocrite got married

in the 90s! They created the term 'quality time' because career women were feeling

guilty about not spending much time with their child: we suppose that reading to your

child once a month should suffice. Something most disconcerting - for them - occurred

over the past ten years: study after study showed that a child was best off in a mom/dad

household functional followed by mom/dad dysfunctional (!) followed by single parent

functional and, bringing up the rear, single parent dysfunctional; predicated on quality of

care and the percentage of the children that grew up to drop out of high school and/or

take up drugs and/or drinking and/or commit suicide and/or spend time in jail/prison and/

or etc. These studies clearly could be extrapolated to show that two moms or two dads

are not in the best interest of the child and its the child that we should be concerned

about! (Further down, please find our expanded definition of homo).

Is history about to repeat itself? As Yogi Berra said, "It's de'ja' vu, all over again."

Recently, the prestigious John Hopkins Medical Center held a psychiatric

symposium on pedophilia wherein the majority of speeches and those in attendance

held the view that these scum (there is nothing lower; even prisoners despise them:

placing them on the bottom of the totem pole {not P.C.? Too damn bad!}) were

born this way and couldn't help themselves!

The field of sociobiology is only a few decades old and is embraced by libs:

it makes excuses for bad behavior. Traditional biology tells us that congenital and

inherited diseases, skin color, hair texture, etc. are determined by genetics; it also

teaches that humans have the most developed brains are not slaves of their

biology. Sociobiology states that you can be born with a strong criminal gene

(therefore, criminals can't help themselves and shouldn't be punished too severely!),

a strong greedy gene, a strong nasty gene, a strong homo gene (homos can't help

being what they are (see last part of article for a scientific explanation of homos).

Get this: Sociobiology also claims that whether you're born with a strong or weak

nasty gene, it's the environment that will ultimately decide. Why not just simplify

matters and say: you are a product of everything that you learned in the order

that you learned it; you are a product of everything that you experienced in the

order that you experienced it; you are a product of everyone you have known,

especially, in most cases, your parents. Stop making excuses for bad behavior!

We predict that a similar process will be employed on behalf of peds

as was employed on behalf of homos. We have an abnormal psychology textbook

published in 1977 which includes homos as a type of abnormal psychology. In

the early 1980's, the American Psychiatric Association reclassified it as a "normal

but alternate lifestyle." What a difference a few years make! Decades of research

was sacrificed at the liberal alter due to pressure from the budding gay lobby

backed by the powerful women's movement. How can they call psychology a

social 'science'!?! It became the favorite topic of perverted lib daytime talk shows

in the '80's and '90's. When an audience member was critical of such behavior,

the host or hostess (not P.C.) would shout, "You a homophobe" or "We don't

pass judgement here." Libs are big on free speech - theirs! And, teaching one

point of view on issues - public schools! What effect did it have on viewers?

For a few years, the vast majority were shocked and nauseated followed by a

few years of mild shock and queasiness followed by the attitude that it is wrong

but acceptable followed by it is a "normal but alternated lifestyle." While

probably over 70% considered it abnormal, immoral and unnatural (with 20%

supportive, 10% undecided) in the early '80's, it is today roughly 60%, who

favor same-sex civil unions, and 45% who favor same-sex marriage. (People are

The truth about homos:

While over 90% of heterosexuals want to be parents, only 40% of lesbos and 20% of

gays do. If homos are born that way (5 % of all species of mammals are homo) they

are bad mutations in evolutionary terms for they would not be inclined to support the

survival of the species. (Why aren't evolutionary biologists and geneticists pointed this

out? Are they afraid of the gay and feminist orgs and lobbies? That makes for bad

science). We don't subscribe to sociobiological thinking.
Some consciously or subconsciously choose that lifestyle; others are that we because

of a traumatic experience early in life. Only 5% are afflicted with this condition.

Alternative: sociobiological nonsense. Members of the clergy and even practitioners of

psychology (See "More Reader's Choice") have cured homos when

they consciously/subconsciously so desire and are willing to work hard at it. There is

a third explanation for some of the 5% and this one has a basis in genetics. An infant

might have a virus which screws with the genes resulting in homo with some but not

all members of subsequent generations having the disease. This is the manner in which

particular inherited diseases originate in certain families.

It effects you. Los Angeles is teaching in first grade: a boy can pretend to be a girl

or gender-less from time to time; a girl can pretend to be a boy or without gender;

girls can wear boys clothes and the converse as well; boy can kiss and marry boy,

ditto girls. Claim: Reduce bullying. Reality: undermine Judeo-Christian U.S. Constitution

and encourage abhorrent, abnormal, aberrant, unnatural behavior (increase gay numbers

in order to give them more political clout). Plans are for it to go state-wide. So goes

California, So goes the rest of the nation, especially, liberal states NE, like N.Y. And, it

is making its insidious way into Texas and Illinois. Sadly, the image that the world has

of our country is largely generated in New York City and Hollywood!

couples from marrying and encouraged living together) out of federal income tax. Lib attack on

be eligible it would be a disadvantage to have a married/combined income.

Legislating immorality: abortion; social programs; same-sex marriages; gays in military;

healthcare; exorcising prayer and Bible and Moral Code in public schools; mandating perverted

On October 30, Department of Defense announced that military chaplains could perform

same-sex unions on or off military facilities.

There were a few states that still had anti-sodomy laws on the books; although, they

were no longer enforced. A few years back, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled them

unconstitutional. Justice Scalia, who wrote the minority statement, warned that this would

open a can of worms, including, leading to same-sex marriages. The vast majority of'

legal minds said that he was wrong. He was right.

The DOD decision raises some interesting questions. What about the "Marriage

Protection Act" passed in 1996: A state does not have to acknowledge a same-sex

marriage from another state. Many feel that it applies to same-sex unions as well. The

difference only being a matter of semantics. Over 30 states have laws and/or state

constitutional amendments banning same-sex marriages or same-sex marriages and

same-sex civil unions. While only a handful of Protestant denominations allow for

same-sex marriages or unions, would their ministers be allowed to perform in states

which prohibit it? Will we see that vast majority of chaplains sued for not doing so?

business of sanctioning that which is abnormal, immoral, unnatural. What about:

man-child, spank-me-please, tie-me-up, hit-me-hard, cross-dressing, etc.

New York just became the 6th state to legalize same-sex marriage. Marriage was

created to celebrate traditional family unit, sacrament and procreation for the

survival of the species. On 6/26 in New York, they will have their annual "gay

pride parade." Watch the freaks on T.V. in N.Y. from your state. "They aren't freaks,"

you say. Watch their perverted parade and have a good laugh at their expense! See

We take a different view regarding "The War Powers Act of 1973." We believe

that the Founding Fathers and Founding Documents cut the president and

command-in-chief some slack as regards running the military and conducting

foreign policy. Every president since and including Nixon has declared it

unconstitutional, nonetheless, those presidents who wanted to engage in

hostilities sought congressional approval stating that they weren't complying

with Act and would go to war even if they didn't secure congressional

approval. They usually get it. It was uncomfortable and awkward by workable

and acceptable. A game. Enter Obama: he's the first president to declare Act

constitutional but says that he doesn't have to comply with it because he

isn't engaging in hostilities in Libya! It is abundantly clear that our Founders

only wanted our nation to go to war when attacked and not get involved

with international disputes (and that we didn't have a military capable of

fighting in a foreign land). They also realized that a situation that they

couldn't imagine might arise necessitating our going to war. For the

first 100 years or more congress was only in session for about three months.

Clearly, they would want the command-in-chief to commit troops without

congressional approval. Again, they would have preferred that we didn't

fight beyond our shores. It would take a member of congress days or weeks

or months to get to the capital depending upon where they lived. You're saying:

"Congress is now in session for more than three months and members can

get to the capital in hours." We have to play by the rules of George-Tim-Jim.

Congress still controls the purse strings and can pull the rug out from under

the president by cutting off funding for the military operation. Clinton and

Kosovo. House didn't grant him authority but funded operations. Last week,

House did self-same thing as regards Libya - a game!

1) First estimated over three months ago in "Action Chain Letter" and reiterated in most recent

'ATL' that a minimum spending reduction of $5 trillion was necessitated and dictated and

supplied justification. Now, House Republicans are proposing debt reduction of $6 trillion;

2) First proposed one month ago and 'stuttered' in 'ACF 8' that Medicaid and Medicare

should be completely privatized after a chunk of the $40 billion in waste and fraud was

eliminated. House Repubs are proposing partial privatization of M & M.;

3) Calculated for the first time a month ago that real inflation was 20%. Now more

and more 'professional' economists are coming to share that view.

Stop...Please stop the applause...Stop, there is more:

A) We began stating about a year and a half ago in articles and more recently in 'ACLs'

that we shouldn't allow $8 billion invested in "Constellation" Program go down the

same presidential black hole as stimulus and cash-for-clunkers taxpayer money. We

encouraged our readers to contact member of congress in this regard. Recently, the

Chairman of the House (90% certain House; no one is perfect), (www.)Palazzo.house.

gov/public and member Hall.house.gov/public/ stated that Obama was in

violation of the law (what else is new) for Authorization Bill FY2011 and FY2012 called

for a new SPL (Space Launch System) and MPCV (Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle) for

space exploration. It dictated that it should built on technologies and capabilities of

Space Shuttle Program and 'canceled' (but still receiving funding) Constellation R & D

(in spite of Obama!). Not only did this approach make sense (and we were one of

the first championing it; most of the credit should go to readers who contacted

congress; displaying a modicum of modesty at this junction) but it would enable

continuity to NASA's skilled engineers and technicians, further, avoid massive

lay-offs at the space agency. It would mean uninterrupted progress toward SPL and

MPCV. Bills called for modifying and extending Constellation contracts to utilize

existing workforce and assets at areopace companies, further, avoid massive

lay-offs. This would limit change to the industrial base and workforce - put another

way: the GREAT NASA TEAM!!! Obama violates Intent of Congress when he

budgeted a paltry $1.2 billion for SPL and MPCV and claimed contrary to law

that their couldn't be a deep space mission in this decade. He should have

allocated $2.5 billion to be in compliance (See below and for greater detail

'ACLs' as to why NASA should be one of the few fed entities to be spared

the debt reduction axe). Just remember this: NASA's prime directive: manned

space flight; secondarily: the countless collateral benefits. We have

recommended and now members of congress are talking about diverting

funds from the bogus study of a run-a-way greenhouse effect causing global

warming by NASA (all or most of the $1 billion) to the prime directive and

(all or most of the $1.2 billion in grants or subsidies - EVIL! - companies like

SpaceX - we won't enjoy the dividends!; capitalism: worthwhile business ventures

will attract investors) to said directive. Speaking of damn subsidies...

B) To date A.T.K. has received over $1 billion to develop Ares 1 with

NASA which was to be operational by 2014 but pushed back to 2016 and

then 'canceled' by Obama but still getting funds wants to built a new

version and claims that it can be ready by 2015. They are requesting a

subsidy in lieu of a contract. We have been proposing for a long time

(See 'ACLs' and other articles) reasons to end all subsidies in order to

reduce the debt, it doesn't allow free-market forces to operate and unfair

to taxpayers. They have angered us! They might have gotten an

extended but modified contract. No A.T.K. subsidy!

Applause may resume.

We stated at the top of the year that our registration was Republican since

age 18 and that we would seriously consider departing GOP if it didn't

get serious about debt reduction and avoiding an impending

economic/financial crisis like this nation has never seen. We are

tentatively pleased. We are tough. We have not rendered a final decision

with respect to registration at this juncture.

BONUS or NEGATIVE BONUS: We have spent $17 trillion on the war

on poverty since the mid-60s and poverty-level has remained the same.

The liberal way like in education: Throw good money after bad! Reduce

funding big-time, reorganize programs to make more efficient, effective

and productive. Eliminate programs that are failing. End culture of dependency.

Obama has weakened the successful workfare program! New approach.

Correction One: United States Gold Bullion Depository not 'National.'

Correction Two: Article Proper, Paragraph Two: ...enable employers to

pay more of the cost of healthcare and enable more small- and medium-sized

employers to insure their employees.

The Unites States Gold Bullion Depository at its peak housed over $900 billion

worth of gold bars; it presently holds over $206 billion. This is 2.39x our nearest

competitor: Germany. Numerous factors determine a nation's worth. The

wealthiest countries in order are: U.S., China, Japan, U.K., Germany. Last

year China replaced Japan for second place.

We have 2.5% of all the gold refined in world history. It is a real asset while

cash, stocks, etc. represent 'real' assets. It is disconcerting to realize that a

buck was backed by 40 cents worth of gold in 1913 and is only backed by

3/4 of a penny today! Technically, we stopped claiming that our money was

backed by gold in 1972. No problem: we were the United States. Today: problem;

we face the possibility of losing our Triple A bond Rating within 10 years and

suffering third-world status within 20 if we keep printing money and borrowing

money, especially, from China. Suffer big cuts now or bigger cuts later. Now, we

can still determine size of cuts (it better be big) and where to cut. Failure to

handle situation properly and within 10 years, China will dictate size and where.

You don't think so? The EU bailed out Spain and Ireland with loans, Germany

is the member with the largest amount of readily available assets, it dictated

terms of EU loans: where and how much and over what period of time these

countries have to make cuts, as well as, the terms for paying back the loans.

Our very sovereignty is at stake! How long do you think that China will just

except the interest and nothing toward the principal on U.S. Savings Bonds

as the value of the dollar continues it precipitous fall?

Proposal 45: (original) Increase the amount of gold - our principle real asset -

by between $15 and $25 billion over 30 years as one way to restore world-wide

faith/confidence (which has begun to waiver with talk of no longer basing the currencies

of the world on the U.S. $) in our economic/financial systems and our wealth.

We reiterate previous original proposals: we must cut spending in real terms by at least $300 billion and reduce growth by at least $200 billion (cuts and reductions) for fiscal 2012 ($5 trillion over 10 years); privatize Medicaid and Medicare (fraught with

$40 billion in waste and fraud annually - fed gov is incapable of cleaning bedpans only

filling them!).

We reinstate another original proposal: NASA which is the main scientific/technological

engine of our economy must be restored to the level that it enjoyed in the 1960s.

It is one of the few programs that deserves an increase in spending. NASA in our home,

car, office, farm, factory, hospital. It is the only gov entity that goes beyond its mandate

and benefits numerous fields ranging from astronomy to energy to engineering to

micro miniaturization to medicine to nanotechnology to materials science to zoology.

/group/rickcosmos-eclectic, /group/newfederalism; "Action Chain Letters 4 to 8

are better written then 1, 2, 3).

Proposal 46: (original): While virtually all fed gov departments must be cut in real terms

or experience a reduction in their annual growth (far more of the former than the latter), NASA

must see its budget grow from the $17 billion to $31 billion over 7 years followed by a

decrease to $25 over 5 years with full annual inflationary increases. After 12 years, NASA's

budget should be frozen at $25 billion for 10 years with no annual increase for inflation. This

will enable NASA to improve existing technologies and create new technologies on the

scale that it did back in the 1960s. It will stimulate all industries. Less you forget: We went

into detail in "Action Chain Letters" about energy - experts claim that we can get 20%

of our electricity from solar energy collectors on earth by 2030 and no more. NASA, moon

and earth orbit - we can get an additional 10% or more relatively inexpensively. NASA

would pave the way as part of overall exploration of the moon with the establishment

of a moon base (revive moon base - Obama is trying to kill it). NASA would develop the

technology while the private sector would then assume all of the cost for this relatively

inexpensive solar-to-electricity (moon-to-earth orbit-to-ground collectors) program. We

also talked about NASA programs regarding nuclear fusion for rockets which might be

applied to nuclear power plants on earth (we presently have fission plants: fusion would

be even safer and would generate more electricity at a lower cost). NASA is at its best

when it develops technologies for space exploration which industries later find earth-bound

applications.

Proposal 47 (original): Expand the scope of SATS program to components 3 and 4 (See

"Action Chain Letter 8").

Funny math...Obama claims that he will cut Medicaid and Medicare (we will believe

it when we see it) and is claiming that in so doing, he will subtract the savings from

the cost of Obama-care and from the deficit. Did you get it: he will subtract the

same sum of money from two places. He learned science from Al Gore and math

from a first grader.

Drill, baby, drill...As we previously stated, Obama approved loans to Mexican and

Brazilian Oil for he wants Americans to get more oil from those countries. Real

Americans want to get oil from American companies. They want stockholders to

make more money - money that they will spend, invest and save - - good for the

economy, good for all Americans. They want American oil companies to create jobs

in the good ol' U.S. of A. They want the price of oil to come down. We get oil from

many countries that are only semi-allies of U.S. and some of those profits end up

in the hands of terrorists. A large component in the price of oil comes from

shipping it from far off places. Oil would be cheaper like it was prior to the 1970s

if would got more of it domestically as part of energy independence. We heretofore

stated that we wanted to faze out subsidies to oil companies.We hate subsidies!

We also want to reduce the number of regulations and the severity of some

regulations on oil companies. We can still have the highest environmental

standards for drilling but a little less so. Strike a reasonable balance between

environmental concerns (hyped by liberals and U.N.) and profits/prices/job creation.

The crude oil that we use has gotten dirty after 112 million years. It goes to a

refinery where contaminates are removed, mostly sulfur, which is used in

making fertilizers, rubber tires, fire extinguishers, explosives amongst other things.

It is then refined to produce, gas, propane, diesel, jet fuel, motor oil, plastics, etc.

Further work on crude produces substance that are used in aspirin and other

medications, televisions, asphalt, cosmetics, lubricants for our machines and

our skin, nylon, toothpaste, paint and more. The price of all of these products

would come down if we were to get more oil in and around U.S. Oil is good. All

should be for oil. Oil was good to the "Beverly Hillbillies."

Tough apples...We don't owe Ingins a damn thing! If you can't protect your

property you deserve to loose. Look at historical precedent: for thousands of

years when one group conquered another group the vanquished were stripped of

ALL of their property, most of their women were raped and 99% of the men

were enslaved. Comparatively speaking, Indians faired well. Today, this ethnic

group gets more health and social services then any other ethnic group. Those

tribes are suffering from poverty. While those tribes that receive significantly less

from gov are prospering (we not talking just talking about the ones with casinos).

They know the meaning of the old Protestant work ethic. It is gov hand-outs out

of an unnecessary sense of guilt that is hurting the 'reds.' Stop teaching lies

in public schools. It was noble of the white man around a hundred years to

send Indians to special schools to learn American and European culture,

including, Christianity. Those that chose not to return to reservation after

attending the special schools and older Indians who didn't attend the schools

and left suffered discrimination by the children and grandchildren did

significantly better then their counter-parts on the reservations. We fail to

learn from history. It reminds us of WW1 and, even more so, WW2, we win and then we rebuilt

the countries that we defeated and turned them into economic powerhouses.

Americans just don't know how to win!

(Merrily, Merrily)...Prior to 1850s, newspapers consisted of commentary. A town of

less than 40,000 might have dozens of them. They were owned by the political

parties and by movements (advocacy groups: pro-slavery, anti-slavery; pro-international

trade, anti-international trade; pro-prohibition, anti-prohibition; pro-national bank,

anti-national; etc). The telegraph connected the nation in the 1830s and the railroad in

the late 1860s; the telegraph connected parts of Europe and U.S. in the 1850s; the

telephone the nation and the world by 1900. This meant that beginning in the 1850s,

one by one newspapers added local or local and regional or local and national or

local, national, world news to their pages...(Just A.D.D.-ing along).

Our blueprint for saving our nation - plus cutting taxes and reducing regulations. If

history is any indicator: America can rise to the biggest of challenges.

First, we begin with space, per forma; then, down-to-earth; followed by who-knows-

where. A psychedelic trip of the mind of sorts.

Fed gov continues to give taxpayer $$$s - subsidies - to four private sector

companies, including, SpaceX and Virgin Galactic via NASA. It constitutes an

immense injustice of a constitutional-scale. We deem subsidies to be unconstitutional

in a capitalistic society. Seed money for a new business or seed money for a

new risky endeavor by an existing company should come from that class of

investors who specialize in risk capital investment not taxpayers for we won't be

reimbursed nor will we share in the dividends (see "Where are my Dividends?").

We shall return to space but will now take a detour to patting ourselves on

the back. The president and house speaker are now talking about ending

subsidies (this form of subsidy is not cash but special tax breaks) to oil companies.

We first proposed this a year ago and reiterated it more recently in an "Action

Chain Letter." We proposed ending all subsidies, including, those given to

natural gas, wind and solar; more on the latter momentarily. (Remind us to

return to space and solar; two Ss and related - just making it easier for you to

remember and to remind us).

Subsidies to oil amount to $4 billion per year ($40 billion over ten).

Opponents to ending subsidies have two arguments: 1) 25% of investment in

alternate energy sources comes from Big Oil and 2) Most exploration for new

sites at which to drill is done by small oil. Point 1: BO won't reduce its

alternate energy R & D if subsidies are ended; they want to be in on the ground

floor of these new and viable-in-the future technologies (Of course, Obama

likes high oil prices and wishes they were higher and permanent so for then

and only then will solar and wind be competitive when they come on-line;

drill, baby, drill at new venues for oil and natural gas {the U.S. enjoys a

100-plus reserve of untapped natural gas} - we have higher environmental

standards then other nations. Instead Obama is giving loans to Mexico and

Brazil to drill instead of creating jobs here. Further, solar and wind won't

fully come on-line until 2035 and only be able to generate 30% of our

electrical needs and no more so say the experts. Should Americans have to

suffer obscene energy prices, especially, at the pump until then!?! Besides,

solar and wind are for electricity not cars and trucks - the technology

doesn't exist to put solar panels and wind mills on cars and trucks!!! Did

we take an A.D.D.-tangent?). Point 2: We say it again: risk capital

investors, as well as, the banks that supply them some of the money for

more often than not their gambling pays off big-time.

What's that?...Return to solar...Thanks for reminding us...

We might be able to get 35% of our electricity from wind and

solar by 2025 by mining the moon. Believe it or not, it would be more

effective and less expensive than building solar power generating plants

on earth. Further, while experts predict that we won't have nuclear fusion

plants (we presently have fission plants) until 2030 - there might be a

way for us to have them be 2025; safer and more envirmentally-friendlier

than fission. How? NASA, of course. Some of you will be shocked and

wonder why Obama wants to cancel moon project (a growing number

of congressional members are fighting for the moon). Where do you

go to be shocked? "Action Chain Letter 4" - updated, improved and

expanded - and located at /group/nasa-our-way - - finish this ACL and

then run over there - - - it's three blocks east of new federalism.

We have been watching - as a study - the 15- and 30-minute length,

including, commercials stand-up comics on Comedy Central. Our

observations: 99% use foul language 25% of the time, 75% of their jokes

are dirty; 1% are language-challenged 15% and 25% of their jokes are

off-color. We worry about the children. This material appears at all

hours. We are far from long in the tooth but when we were growing-up,

we were exposed to old and new. These young performers should

be forced to watch footage of: Marx, Burns, Benny, Borge, Bishop,

Little and Cosby (he was old school like his sitcom). They would

loose their confidence! They are funny 5 to 15% of the time vs. the

old-timers most of the time. They would utter double endentre' on

occasion but not in your face filth - clever stuff. Most of the time,

these potty mouths miss the pus-y...oops...target.

And speaking of today's singers - have them listen to: Presley,

Sinatra, Torme, Fitzgerald, Lee, Berry, Holly, Holiday, Cole - -

they'd be ashamed to go on stage!

Actors past and present: pay us the big bucks and we could

screw up lines with the 'best' of them! Order of importance:
Writers, producers, directors, actors; order of the green: actors, directors,

producers, writers. (More on this in the near future).

Voltaire: If God did not exist, we would have to invent him. Let's

face it: atheist can be moral most of the time. However, religious

people are more likely to be moral more often followed by

believers in one respect or another and atheist bring up the rear;

best when they're pretty. Otherwise, chaos rather than society and

an increase in crime, especially, against children, elderly and

women.

An insect trumps Trump in smarts. How can such a shrewd businessman be such

a big a-hole!?! We never subscribed to the silliness: Obama isn't

American; he is U.S. Constitutional Criminal! Yet, he does baffling

things like issue a presidential proclamation for ramandan but

not Easter - the first president not to do so.

As Popeye says: "Well blow me down!" Massachusetts house -

majority democrat - votes to strip key bargaining rights

from state employee unions. We repeat ourselves (public)

servants shouldn't earn on average (salary and benefits)

more than their masters (taxpayers)!

Unions peaked in 1940 when 37% of workers were

unionized - only in private sector. Public unions were

created between 1950 and 1970. Today 13% of American

workers are unionized - half, private; half, public.

We can argue whether or not unions served a valuable

purpose between 1890 and 1950 or whether or not

companies on their own would have slowly made changes

for morale (happy workers are more productive workers),

due to compassion and to avoid lawsuits.

Do companies exist for the worker or does the worker

exist for the company. We say the latter. all an

employer owes a worker is a paycheck commiserate with

work performed and a reasonably safe work environment.

The government has no right forces them to do more;

they should do it voluntarily. Card Check: There is nothing

more American than the secret ballot. Due to shrinking

membership unions want workers to openly declare

whether they favor a union at their place of employment

so that union thugs can strong-arm workers to say: "Yea."

According to the National Labor Board: Workers have

a right to strike. We don't see that in our Bill of Rights!

A Boeing plant in Washington State was the victim of

5 strikes in the last ten years. They decided to open a

plant in a state where their aren't many union jobs. The

Labor Board invoking some obscure regulation and

misapplying it is stopping Boeing from doing it - something

that a lot of American and foreign companies have been

doing for the past 20 years - and creating jobs. Do you think the

Boeing will make the plane in its Washington plant or one

of its oversees plants.

Do you remember when Obama during campaign 2008 campaigned

in Paris and stated the he was now a "citizen of the world." Now

that Special Forces has turned the evil one into a cadaver, their

next assignment should be to terminate Superman who has

renounced his American citizenship and declared that he is a

"citizen of the world."

All of those tornadoes down south. We heard a meteorologist state that the main

factor was a dramatic change in the jet stream. Which got us to thinking about

low-frequency radio pulses. Meteorologists often have that effect on us. Recently, we

discussed how an EMP bomb if ever developed could knock out our infrastructure,

including, electric grid.

We have two HAARP and one in Puerto Rico research facilities to study the

ionosphere and jet stream in the hopes of enhancing radio communication and

surveillance purposes; HAARP is a joint Air Force, Navy, University of Alaska (in the

case of two) and DARPA (we spoke of it not long ago). Russia and EU each

We aren't conspiracy nuts. They used to be on the fringe playing

to a small audience while today they enjoy wide media coverage.

Creep shows: What if they were 1% true? Scientifically not worth

serious consideration and should be dismissed out-of-hand - but

would make for a good story around the campfire. Evidence: at

least 50% of a claim must be convincing and, therefore worth further

consideration. Reliable eyewitness testimony and second-hand info can

serve to point one in a direction but observation, experience and experiment

of a high level of credibility and standards and a lot of it, confirmed

by independent investigators working from a firm, established foundation.

Proposal 1:
All congressional legislation should come with a requisite attachment
showing the constitutionality of content. (Reason: Self-evident).
Update:
We won this in House; we should work for it in Senate.
Proposal 2:
We've spent $9.5 billion on "Constellation" Program R & D. It should
not be allowed to go down same presidential black hole as "Cash-for-Clunkers,"
the stimulus packages and Fannie/Freddie! As much of it as possible should be
incorporated into the plans, which our underdevelopment, for a new manned spacecraft,
earth-mars transfer module, new heavy-lifting rocket.
Update:
It would appear as if there is a 50/50 chance that this will not come
to pass; not good enough - more work strongly indicated.

NASA receives only one half of 1% of federal budget. It is a unique
government program - you actually get a return on your investment! There is a $7
return within about a 5 year period for every $1 it is budgeted in the form of
pure science (increasing man's knowledge which is good in itself but also has
potential of becoming applied science or technology) and spin-offs/applications
(technology: NASA in your home, car, factory, farm, office, hospital; NASA all
around you and you are largely oblivious to the fact).
We say "yes" to private/commercial space programs and "no" to taxpayers
subsidizing it. We're not going to share in the dividends (for more info see: "Where
are My Dividends" at /group/nasa-our-way and "Do You Think..." at
/group/newfederalism, as well as, "Action Chain Letter: 4."). All subsidies are socialistic
and unconstitutional and should be phased-out over a three to ten year
period (depending on the program), especially, in light of the fact that we face the
possibility of our nation losing its Triple 'A' Bond Rating within 4 years and becoming a third-world
nation within 20 years if we don't get serious about cutting government spending.
We are giving in the form of a subsidy (no pay back) $3.5 billion to
SpaceX's Falcon 9 program and $1 billion to (the wealthy owner of) Virgin Galactic.
SpaceX is already $900 million over budget! (Were they penalized? No; they were given an additional $900 million! Who wanted to subsidize? The constitutional criminal
himself: Obama; by our count: 14 constitutional infractions thus far). This money should
have been invested in that unique government program - part of which would have prevented
the massive lay-offs (at NASA and the companies that contract with NASA; no
subsidy here - contract) during a recession. It is imperative that NASA is restored to being
the scientific/technological engine of the economy at the level it enjoyed, 1958-73.

PROPOSAL 45 (Remember this is being updated and expanded): See School's Stupid

Students (Alliteration Addiction). Stop punishing achievement and try rewarding it.

President Bush's successful "No Child Left Behind" (you know that it is successful

because school unions hate it!) has substantially reduced but has not

completely eliminated (mainly via national standardized tests): the mainstreaming

of the physically and/or mentally crippled (Citizen Journalist is not P.C. and

has advanced CMT but not when he was a school boy chasing school girls

in plaid skirts) who require extra attention - attention diverted from those

better equipped to handle the workload and are, thereby, held back; social

promotions - the promoting of a child from, say, 6th to 7th grade in order

not to deflate the child's ego and in order for the teacher to prevent

herself from looking bad: look - over half of her students have failed.

Instead of saying: we care about you; we want you to master grade

before you advance. Child is promoted and lost, needs extra attention,

deserving students are short-changed; schools which no longer post

'A' test papers for fear of hurting the feelings of those who didn't attain an

'A.' Old-fashioned thinking: Stroke the ego of the 'A' student to encourage

him to a repeat performance and motivate the others to work harder

in order to see their paper on the bulletin board; Non-competitive

activities in gym class, whatever, that is. It sure prepares child for

capitalistic society; schools which have done away with grading and

determine whether or not child is promoted predicated on effort,

social development and projects - stupid, nonsensical liberal thinking.

We have already proposed converting all regular public schools

into charter and magnet schools: on average charters outperform

magnets (no union control) while mags out do regulars (mags

semi-union control, regulars - nearly complete union control;

by the bye, regulars are budgeted more than mags and mags more

than charters - fascinating! Yet, libs tell us that the problem

with regs is that they don't receive enough money - - the problem

is unions!). On average students in mags and charts perform as well in

well-to-do safe neighbors as they do in poor, dangerous ones.

Don't hold back our brightest stars. A big problem: boredom

and a feeling of not being challenged. There is no reason that

elementary school can't be 7 instead of 8 years (8 is largely review)

for the well-behaved 'A' and 'B' students. Further, those who

were As and Bs in grades 5, 6, 7 should go to high school for 3

instead of 4 years. Freshman who earn an 'A' can transfer to

advanced program; no transfers after freshman year. These

students would earn academic-regents diplomas or an

associate degree (if school can afford it; it presently takes 2

years to earn an associate in college, it would take 3 in high).

We hear you: you're saying: in Japan and Western Europe

where in many of those countries Americans are being

out-performed in international comparisons, they spend more

days per year in the classroom. They don't get 12 weeks off in

the summer. Instead, they receive a week here and two weeks

there totally (it varies from country to country) 6 to 9 weeks. Fine;

if a state can afford it. We think our plan is even better. Let

us continue and stop interrupting us by thinking out loud (
A.D.D. distracting).

Stop poorly-behaved, slow students and class clowns from

holding back our brightest. Motivate them to want to attend

class with a livelier curriculum: electronics, plumbing, home

economics, book keeping, basic computer, house painting,

gardening, a lot more physical education, shop, etc. Challenging

courses - a lot of poorly behaved students are brighter than you

think (just ask CR). Their not college material, give them the

skills for the real world. Also: business math., dance, map-reading,

the production of graphs. End remedial courses in college.

Those students don't belong in college. Many states are and are saving $s.

In college, associate degrees should take 1 1/2 years not 2;

bachelors, 3 not 4. Reduce the core requirements: these students

should have acquired the basic skills in elementary and high school.

They should be focusing on their major and minor: specializing not

so much general subjects. Colleges will lose money because students

will be spending less time there. But, more students will want

to attend college and that's what we want. Imagine graduating

high schools at 16 instead of 18. What are you going to do? You

have an academic-regents diploma and you're being offered the

opportunity of earning an A.A. or A.A.S. when you're 17 or 18;

you might go for two associates (or three, if you were able to earn

one in high school). Graduating with a B.A. or B.S. at 19 or 20,

you have time for a second B.A. or B.S.(second takes 2 or less years) or

starting a master's or doctorate program). We must take into account the taxpayer

and student debt: no second associate accept for 'A' and 'B'

students - same for Bachelor's. More students might have to

work while in college - grants should be reduced to reduce

the deficit. We will be producing more graduates with more degrees

wherein they focused on their discipline of choice. 'C' and 'D'

students should be limited to one associate degree (unlikely since

they were "A' and 'B' students in high school). America will be more

competitive on the world stage for our students will be better educated

and no longer the victim of the liberal policy of homogenization:

bundling the able bodied with the disabled, the bright with the slow,

the well-behaved with the delinquents.

PROPOSAL 46: Return student loans to banks, It was unconstitutional

of Obama (17 constitutional infractions thus far by our count) to have

fed gov assume responsibility for student loans - private sector activity.

Just look at gov involvement (unconstitutional in nature) with Fannie,

Freddie and Amtrak.

PROPOSAL 13:

LUCKY 13 for CHILDREN. We should individually and, in our own words,

phone our governor's office and speak to a staff member (supplying name is optional;

they keep records of citizen's position - a tally of pros and cons - and report most

interesting statements to their boss) and/or leave a message at his/her

website. Ditto OUR representatives in state legislators and/or county

exec and/or mayor and/or council member.

Convert all regular public schools into charter and magnet schools.

On average, children in private schools (most of which our Christian, especially, Catholic)

score higher on national standardized and state-wide tests (which

helps prevent teachers from awarding social promotions - for example,

promoting a child who has failed fourth grade to fifth grade

for fear of damaging child's ego - isn't it more compassionate to say to child:

"We care about you, we want you to master fourth grade and not get lost

and fall behind in fifth and have to be rewarded with another social

promotion until you receive a meaningless high school

diploma; of course, the vast majority of teachers give such promotions

to cover their tracks, they don't want to look bad with so many

failing students under their tutelage; further, it is virtually impossible for

principals to fire incompetent teachers due to union.

You digress; on verge of A.D.D. attack) than home-schooled, magnet and charter

kids who in turn score higher then regular public school youngsters. Regulars have

improved somewhat due to Bush's "No Child Left Behind"

(liberal-dominated media has lied about policy and results) but not

enough and won't progress any further due to teacher's unions. Public schools were

nearly as good as Catholic schools - academics and discipline - prior to the early 1960s.

What happened? In early '60s, the first and biggest teacher's union

formed! Since then, on their orders, states pumped hundreds of billions of

additional dollars into public schools and they got worse! Albert Shankor, the former

head of union, said in 1985: "We'll care about the kids when they're old

enough to pay union dues." (By the way, on average it costs $10,000 a year to 'educate' a

regular public school child; $6,000 Catholic).

The problem with regular public schools: teachers aren't paid enough and most

schools don't have the latest textbooks and/or computers and/or etc. They earn only an

average of 10% less then firemen and cops and their benefits and retirement packages

are better then theirs! Pay more and you'll have better teachers and better-performing kids...

Debate in progress...Charter and magnet school teachers are paid less then regular public

school teachers and can easily be fired for poor performance. Charters and Magnets

aren't as well-equipped as regulars.

What possibly can explain this state-of-affairs? Unions have no control

over charter schools and only limited control of magnets. Citizen Journalist

has a niece, Alexa (age 9) in a magnet plus is in Delta program and another niece,

Katie, in a magnet. Their teachers are creative and innovative, their principals

don't spend most of school day in their offices but in classrooms helping

students they suspect are falling behind and can

call teachers at home with homework questions (truly dedicated teachers!).

Less then 20% of schools in most states are charters and magnets. Deplorable!

Encouraging: some states are experimenting with virtual academies which

are sort of charter/magnet/home school combos. Discouraging: Some

states where home schools are legal want to rescind their

legality claiming parents aren't qualified and don't possess teacher's licenses.

But, they are outperforming your regular public school teachers! The real reason:

Most parents who home-school are religious and object to immoralities

being taught in public schools and incorporate religious training as part of

curriculum. How dare they! Liberals object: they must be indoctrinated

into liberalism like good, little brain-washed regulars.

The hell with the socialist unions. Let's do what's right by the kids.

Proposal 14:

Prohibit Unsupported Mandates. Fed gov dictates to states that they must do a

particular thing and fed gov contributes between 0% and 65% of the necessary funds.

It shouldn't be retro-active but we already proposed something to make up for that

fact in previous Chain letter: Reduce budgets for unconstitutional federal departments

of Education, Agriculture, Housing, Interior, Transportation by over 75% over a period

of ten years with three-quarters going toward reducing deficit/debt and the remainder

being added to what fed gov already gives to the states in these areas - and with no

strings attached! The new fed committees (no longer departments) should monitor how

money is spent (without dictating how it is spent), propose programs to states in these

areas and if state is interested, fed gov must fully fund it! Returning to Mandates: Fed

gov must prove that they have the constitutional authority (no more abusing commerce

clause) to order it and then fully fund it, preferably, each state would design its own program

to carry it out. (Healthcare too!; it is not constitutionally within the domain of national government - let

each state design Medicaid and Medicare programs while fed

gov is responsible for trillions of debt and fraud due to their mismanagement of these

programs). Restoring powers to states unconstitutionally stolen by an increasingly

distant and powerful and incompetent dictatorial Washington D.C. (Washington must

be rolling in his grave for he had left us a Federalist Republic with an Amendment 10 in

the Bill of Rights). Gov unions will object. Who ever heard of (public) servants on

average making 25% more than those they serve!- salaries and benefits.

This is bad for America: private sector workers produce, gov workers spend and spend

and spend. We borrow and borrow principally from China and the Federal Reserve Bank

orders Treasury Department to print more money (Federal Reserve Notes; Fed Reserve Bank Funny Money)

but, you say, inflation is at a record low of .9 (under brand new system inflation figure no longer

includes rise in food and energy costs! - go back to old system and stop trying to fool

citizens/consumers; since Fed was created in 1913 the value of $ has declined 85% in value

and 20% since 1999 - - these are the real inflation numbers - - - read them and weep!

An A.D.D.-ing, we will go!

Proposal 15:

Student Loans, Water, and more commerce clause abuse. In a recent power-grab, Obama took

student loans away from banks - think Fannie and Freddie - and announced that all water in and

around the U.S., including, the puddle in front of your house belongs to fed gov! Even intra-state water:

rivers, streams, lakes, ponds that aren't shared by more than one state will be regulated by

overweight Uncle Sam. Americans put him on a diet! Pregnant with power 'his' water is

about to break.

Proposal 16:

Just say "no!" to 'stimulus' packages. According to the Federal Reserve Bank branch in

San Francisco the $1 TRILLION-PLUS 'stimulus' created zero000zero new jobs!; Obama

claims that it created or saved 2 million jobs - according to Fed branch: the actual figure

was much less and were all temporary jobs that those who had them have waved 'goodbye'

to them.

Proposal 17:

Privacy vs. security. Union of Socialist Secular States of America. Citizen Journalist

doesn't fly; doesn't go outside. In exile in the former United States of America.

Nonetheless, is concerned about cyber-friends experiencing the unconstitutional, immoral,

unnecessary breach of privacy and rights. Being treated like a criminal without a search

warrant or probable cause which can be easily rectified by exercising some common

sense. Proposals: 1) Place SENTINEL which was at "Reagan International Airport" back

there and at other airports - it kind of sniffs: you walk through and feel puffs of air, a

vacuum device sucks in air with particles dislodged from head to shoes or socks before

particles hit the floor, it can determine if person was near a bomb or materials used to

make bombs; 2) Randomly use metal-detecting wand which guard runs 'all over your

body' at a distance of about half a foot, no contact; 3) Profile! Not babies and blue-haired

old ladies.

Proposal 18:

America's Destiny. In previous chain letters, we discussed NASA's role as the premier

technological engine of our economy, the future of space exploration and the major role

our space program should play in what should be our effort to attain energy independence.

Project NERVA (see previous letters) involved NASA, Atomic Energy Commission, Los Alamos

Scientific Lab, AreoJet and Westinghouse from 1963-73. The facilities should be restored and

upgraded. They've been neglected.

The Space Nuclear Propulsion Office might have to be reactivated or not. It was

established so that NASA and AEC could work together in this classified program.

Last year, Obama signed a directive enabling NASA and the military to work more

closely together. We, unlike Obama, have been making proposals toward that end. He

might just need to sign another directive which he wouldn't be inclined to do, unless, we

order him. Of course, this raises the issue of the constitutionality of executive orders which

circumvent congress. Congress should reactivate.

We suggested looking into feasibility of combining Orion/Ares 1 and Ares 5 with three

stages or two stages with two reusable liquid booster (not solid) rockets. The top stage

should be nuclear thermal or VASIMR plasma unlike the other stage (s) which would be

the traditional chemical. It should be used for "Constitution" (our name for what we

believe will soon be the operational AF X-37B). We propose ascertaining if we can do

something unorthodox: creating doughnut- or tire-shaped (long) stage for Orion-version

so that thermal nuclear or plasma stage (aka moon-transfer module and Mars-transfer module)

can surround (we build on our proposals with each letter) Orion or Orion-like

craft. Hydrogen or plasma would protect crew from solar wind and cosmic radiation

(actually not radiation but plasma). H or P would be surrounded by magnetic field (to

contain it) which would supply much greater protection like magnetic field protects us on earth

from solar wind and cosmic rays.

The plasma propulsion system definitely and the thermal nuclear, perhaps, can vary

exhaust velocity; this can help reduce propellant usage and improve acceleration at

different stages of flight - - don't deviate too much exhaust velocity and

vehicle speed for that would degrade not enhance performance.

Proposal 19:

Useless U.N. Exit U.N. and kick it out of U.S.! We pay 25% of its budget and the

majority of nations are enemies or semi-enemies. It passes useless resolutions which it

can't enforce because of pathetic peace-keepers without testicles. The humanitarian/

charitable programs are fraught with fraud. They still violate our laws claiming diplomatic

immunity. It serves no valuable function. We just learned that Obama has been giving

-bribing - nations to vote for climate change/cattle fart/lack of appropriate peer review/

questionable sources/hockey stick graph/george soros, al gore get richer/ global

warming pseudo-science plans. Carbon emissions? It is not settled science so China

and India not motivated to what? Undo what they have been working for since about

1980: moving from third-world status to developing nation to industrial nation by

instituting expensive emission filters. Carbon won't decline significantly without them.

Obama wants us to do it anyway so your energy bills can rise and companies won't be

able to create as many jobs us they can otherwise. Only libs favor useless U.N. - which

is another reason to kick it into the Atlantic!

Proposal 20:

U.S.-Russia Arms Treaty. Nixon SALT was good; Nixon-Ford-Carter Salt 2 was good;

Reagan START was better. We would have high-tech missile shield with tech benefiting

other aspects of economy as well if Nixon's ABM wasn't canceled by dem-controlled

congress in '72 and Reagan's SDI not been considerably shrunk by clinton and other

dems. Rogue nations and terrorist orgs. Bush unilaterally did away with ABM treaty

claiming it was signed by U.S. and Soviet Union and Soviet Union no longer exists!

He finally persuaded our friends, Poland and Czech Republic, who fearful of Russia, to

put part of shield in their countries during his last year in office and Obama undid

during his first year by caving to Russian pressure and a vindictive Russia has,

nonetheless, promised to punish our two allies. It would place unacceptable constraints

on missile defense and replacing nuclear warheads on missiles with conventional ones

which Russia can't afford and doesn't possess the technical know-how. Giving away

advantages U.S.

Stop treating Russia as if it were still a super-power. Dictate terms of a treaty that

doesn't forgo our advantages. Don't make our plans subject to a Russian

veto. One more thing: we can only inspect their declared sites for compliance! Obama sold out U.S.A.

in arms treaty he signed with Russians last year!

I know that you are interested in planets. We have only known about brown dwarfs for a few

years. They are dim and reddish brown. They are 10 to 20 as massive or as large as Jupiter.

Too big to be considered a planet and too small to be considered a star. They don't produce

energy through thermonuclear reactions in their cores like real stars - sought of like nuclear bombs

going off in their centers producing x-rays and gamma rays. It takes a long time to reach the surface

as energy is bounced around by atoms. After hundreds of thousands of years, it leaves surface mostly as visible light having cooled down. X-rays are very energetic. It had to fight its way to surface and lost energy. Visible light is less energetic.Stars 20 to 35 times heavier then Jupiter produce

all the colors - OBAFGKMN - mostly red. More massive stars like sun - mostly yellow. Most

massive - blue. Stars all look white. Telescopes and spectroscopes discern tinges: sun yellow

tinge. Brown dwarfs sort of produce energy by vibrating cores and involves magnetic field. Jupiter's core vibrates much more slightly. Dr.Ken Franklyn, former Chairman of Hayden Planetarium and friend of Richard DePersio (latter more meaningful to him - reasonable to assume). Reprinted

his scientific paper in R. DePersio science mag (with permission, of course; teenager at the

time, over 50 readers around the country - ironic about 50 readers now). R.D. lost track of him.
