Warframe: Godspeed Gunspeed Mesa Build [2019]

Before we start, let me ask some questions. Do you feel that your mesa is kind of weak? Do you feel like your mesa is not quick enough in swinging her pistols? Are you craving for more power? If the answer to all those questions is yes, then stick around and I will show you how to create a crazy fast gunslinging mesa build.

But agility won't be enough, we need something to increase the overall damage output of mesa for this build, without sacrificing both efficiency and survivability. To do this, let us add vigorous swap in mesa. Okay, settle down lads. I know what you are thinking. You're thinking that I have lost my mind for still putting a mod that has no awesome interaction with peacemaker anymore. I know that after it was patched, Vigorous Swap now deactivates when an Ability weapon is active, including mesa's peacemaker. Well, the wording here might be a bit missleading after testing it out just a bit.

The deactivation refers to the buff not being renewed while in Peacemaker, not the buff completely turning off when you enter Peacekeeper. If you like to move around from one spot to another, or you use her generally in a way where you don't just activate Peacekeeper, and sit around while you drain your energy for no reason, the nerf is a lot less severe than the patch notes make it out to be.

After switching out of Peacekeeper, it obviously still counts as a weapon swap, so if you have a fast-paced playstyle, you will still benefit around 2 seconds from the Vigorous Swap buff while going into Peacemaker again and after that, unless you are in Peacemaker longer than 2 seconds, you repeat the cycle by swapping out of Peacemaker, which will refresh the buff for switching to your primary again.

If you did not get all of that, then let me summarize it. Long story short, after you deactivate your peacemaker, vigorous swap will proc, then you activate peacemaker again to get the buff from the mod.

The focus of this build is efficiency, duration and power strength. I did not add range, since we will not be crowd controlling with mesa. Well, the best crowd control on this game is a room full of dead enemies, and mesa's peacemaker can give you that ability. Both umbral vitality and umbral intensify will help out in increasing the power strength of our build, without sacrificing any efficiency. It's also the best option to get that 95% damage reduction coming from your shatter shield ability. Both streamline form and speed holster are perfect for the vigorous swap. These two mods makes the animation of peacemaker faster. The faster you can deactivate, and activate your peacemaker, the more effective the buff you get from vigorous swap. The rest of the mods are pretty self-explanatory so now, let's proceed to how I mod my exalted pistols for this build variant.

The idea is pretty simple, add as much fire rate, damage, and suppliment it with 2 dual status mods, which elements depend on what faction you are facing. The thing about vigorous swap is it stacks additively with damage mods, which is why I did add hornet strike on this build, but did opt with magnum force. Why not? Barrel diffusion is better, since it indirectly affects the status chance of our exalted pistols. Multishot mods gives our regulators a chance to spawn one or more additional bullets when fired, with each bullet being able to generate its own instance of a critical hit, or status effect separate to the main bullet. Take note that this build is also tailored for faster fire rate. So it means that, this build makes peacemaker faster, and fires more bullets, which then results to faster kills per seconds.

Honestly, I find vigorous swap the one of the best in slot for mesa right now, because of so many reasons. One is that, honestly, mesa shines with her peacemaker. She honestly don't need any crowd control unless you want some dumb fun with her shatter shield ability. Like I've said, the best crowd control is dead enemies in seconds. So, adding range is not really necessary unless you want to. Also, mesa don't need additional survivability mods, especially with this type of build. The 95% damage reduction from your shatter shield would be enough if you are constantly moving. Adaptation is not necessary needed, since you won't be staying in one spot with this build. Remember, this mod does need a few hits to fully take advantage of that 90% damage mitigation from a specific damage type. She doesn't need efficiency, nor duration for this build, since I already added the necessary mods to reduce the drain, and as well as activation cost of peacemaker. Additional damage is probably the best option, and you can add either a power strength mod or, you can go fancy with the additional damage and holster speed that vigorous swap gives.

Warframe: GRENDEL ABILITIES OVERVIEW

Now I got a closer look at Grendel before release, all thanks to digital extremes. And in today's video, I will be sharing my thoughts on this new insatiable frame. If you have concerns about Grendel's abilities and his usefulness in real missions, then I will try to provide all of that information in this video. Some think Grendel is just a gimmicky frame that can eat stuff, or curl into a meatball and roll around in the game but, I tell you now, this frame can do more than that.

The things you've seen on dev stream are just the basic things that Grendel can do. Like for example, his first ability Feast was showcased as an ability to consume targets and store them on Grendel's gut. While holding down the ability key will vomit all stored enemies out in front of Grendel with a Toxin area of effect. It may look so plain and simple but when I was using the ability, I found out that it's more than just for eating stuff. The thing is, every enemy stored in Grendel's gut, using this ability, allows him to gain bonus armor. The more enemies you consume, the more armor you gain. But be careful though, as the more the enemies in Grendel’s gut, the bigger the energy drain. Apply some survivability mod, plus other damage mitigation mod, and what do you get? A super tanky walking meatball. Not just tanky, but once Grendel has something on his gut, he is somehow immune to any knockdown effects. So probably, survivability won't be an issue with Grendel and, take note, we are just talking about his Feast ability and its interaction to his passive ability.

In addition, feast isn't just for defense. Enemies consumed by Grendel gets damaged when other enemies hit this frame. It somehow redirects those damage to the ones that were absorbed by this frame. Those non-armored enemies consumed by Grendel will receive decent damage, but it would take some time to kill those enemies which have damage mitigation. Well, not if you activate your second ability, nourish.

Nourish tends to insta-kill your first consumed target. Armored or not, the first enemy consumed by your nourish ability will die and turned into a radial buff. However, nourish's main purpose is not to kill enemies, but actually to support Grendel and his allies with a team-wide buff, while being a good source to restore his lost health.

There are three buffs that Grendel can give himself and his allies. These buffs are based on enemy type consumed, based on the order they are added to your stomach. One is called Nourish Armor, which gives out a toxic armor that releases an area of effect toxin damage once enemies hit you. The second one is called nourish strike. What it does is gives your attacks additional toxin damage. The toxin damage buff is applied to both your weapons and abilities, which allows those weapons, and abilities that have no toxin proc to apply and inflict this element. The last buff is called nourish energy. The buff is pretty straight-forward. It gives out bonus energy on pickups and gains. This means that it works in energy orbs, and as well as energy regenerating mods like energy siphon, rage and hunter adrenaline. It also works on zenurik's energizing dash. Long story short. For as long as you are regenerating or gaining energy, that gets multiplied when your nourish energy on.

But like I've said earlier, the buffs are random. There's no guarantee that you will get the buff that you want or need. The best thing you can do is once you proc a nourish buff that you want, maintain it by simply re-casting the ability key again before it expires. But if the buff isn't the right one for the scenario, then wait until it expires and cast it again.

Moving on, we got his regurgitate ability. A simple, yet super fun ability to use. If you want to launch something into outer space, using only Grendel's spitting power, then this ability is perfect for you. Its damage to enemies it collides with, and on impact with terrain is pretty decent, especially if they have no damage mitigation. It deals toxin damage, which can be improved by mods and the buff coming from your nourish strike. However, the damage is not affected by the distance traveled by an enemy before he hits a surface and based on my experience, I think the spitting distance is fixed, and only the radius of the toxic area of effect on contact is affected by mods. Lastly, the ability can be used freely, since it doesn't require energy to use. You only need to have a stored enemy in Grendel's gut to use as ammunition for this meatball cannon.

His final ability is called pulverize. Once activated, Grendel turns into a wrecking meatball of mayhem. In this form, Grendel damages and knocks back enemies within a radius, and enemies held on his stomach will also suffer toxin damage per second while Pulverize is active and rolling. Enemies without armor will die fast from the toxic bile inside Grendel's gut, so it is wise to consume at least one nutritious unit first if you want to keep rolling as a meatball. The most fun part of this ability is its area damage, especially if used in elite sanctuary onslaught, wherein there are lots of enemies to consume and rollover at the same time.

He is obviously a good solo frame, since he has insane survivability. His feast paired with his passive alone will give you enough damage mitigation to help you survive heavy hits from high-level enemies. If that's not enough, then you can activate nourish to instantly replenish your health, while providing a team buff based on the enemy you have consumed. Clearly, there's no issue when it comes to Grendel being a tank. But what else can he do?

Grendel can also be a good tactician in the field, offering both crowd control and support to allies., he can be a great tactician since he can remove enemies from play without distracting you with the unhittable mess on your screen. Or he can just store all those enemies, and vomit them into one place for easy group killing. It’s like a combination of both limbo's banish and stasis together with its absolute crowd control, and then some more. The team buffs are also rewarding, especially in team composition. Both nourish strike and nourish armor provides some interesting synergy with the condition overload mod since it offers guaranteed toxin procs to abilities and weapons. And also, just imagine how good the energy sustain of a team would be, once you proc nourish energy.

Aside from usefulness, Grendel also offers some fun gameplay with both his regurgitate and pulverize abilities. I had lots of shits and giggles while spitting enemies using regurgitate, and wrecking them while in meatball form.

It was short, but fun experience playing Grendel on dev build. The new update will be out soon, or most probably, it's already out. It sucks to hear that after celebrating Christmas, you hear that a simple lymph node under the armpit of your mother turns out to be cancerous. It sucks man! Really. I feel so devastated right now. I don't know what else to do. Doctor said that she needs urgent Chemotherapy and we don't have the money to do that now.

I love my mother dearly and I want her to have a long life so she can see my kids grow up and I want to have more time with her. I don't want to lose her because of this illness. Cancer is really a bitch! I'm sorry for cursing but man, I don't know what else to say right now. The only thing that keeps re-playing in my head right now is earlier today, when me and my mother were eating together, and I was holding my tears as I don't want her to see me in pain. And then she asked me, "Does chemotherapy hurts?" I just said "No, you won't feel a thing and you'll get better really quick" My heart was like stabbed by a knife at that moment and I can't do anything but to act strong.

Guys, I know this is too much but I'm begging you on my knees, if you have some extra cash, please help me out. I'll do anything for my mother as I really don't want to lose her.
