Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme (PMSS)

Introduction

The ‘Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme (PMSS)’ ’ is being implemented to encourage technical and post-graduate education for the widows and wards of the deceased/ex-service personnel of Armed Forces. The scheme is funded out of National Defence Fund administered by Prime Minister’s Office. Scholarships are available for education at various technical institutions (medical, dental, veterinary, engineering, MBA, MCA and other equivalent technical institutions having AICTE/UGC approval).

The Scheme was introduced in 2006. Five thousand five hundred (5500) scholarships are being awarded annually under this scheme. The amount of scholarships was Rs.2,000/- for boys and Rs.2,250/- for the girls per month and is paid annually. This has now been increased to Rs.2,500/- per month for boys and Rs.3,000/- per month for girls w.e.f. FY 2019-20. The payment is made through ECS into the bank account of the selected students. The scheme migrated from offline to online mode with effect from Academic Year 2016-17.

Number of Beneficiaries and Amount Disbursed

As per existing policy of PMSS, with effect from academic year 2015-16, a total of 5500 students are to be selected in the merit list (2750 each for boys and girls students). The number of students selected as per the merit list of PMSS during the last six academic years is as under:-

ನೋಂದಣಿ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯು ಜೂನ್ 18 ರಿಂದ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು

ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಲಿಕ್ ಮಾಡಿ

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅರ್ಜಿಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಿರಿ

ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ವಿದ್ಯುಚ್ಛಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನಾಗರೀಕರಿಗೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ದಿನಾಂಕ: 20.05.2023 ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೃಹ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಉಚಿತ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಒದಿಸಲು ತಾತ್ವಿಕ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

“ಗೃಹ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ” ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳಿಗೆ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ 200 ಯೂನಿಟ್ ಗಳವರೆಗಿನ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಮಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರ ಮಾಸಿಕ ಸರಾಸಿ ಬಳಕೆಯ (ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವರ್ಷ 2022-23 ರ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಆಧಾರದನ್ವಯ) ಯೂನಿಟ್ ಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಶೇಕಡ 10 ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಿದುತ್ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಮತಿಸಿ, ಅದಕ್ಕನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಿಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ 200 ಯೂನಿಟ್ ಗಳ ಬಳಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿದ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ಪೂರ್ಣ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಪಾವತಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ.

ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಜುಲೈ 2023 ರ ತಿಂಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಳಕೆಗೆ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 2023 ರ ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ನೀಡುವ ಬಿಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಅನ್ವಯವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಈಕೆಳಕಂಡ ಷರತ್ತುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಆದೇಶ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ: ಎನರ್ಜಿ /164/ಪಿಎಸ್ ಆರ್ / 2023, ದಿನಾಂಕ: 05.06.2023, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ರಂತೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ.

ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಗೃಹ ಬಳಕೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅನ್ವಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ವಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳ ಮೀಟರ್ ರೀಡಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಒಟ್ಟು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ನಮೂದಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.

ಗೃಹ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಳಕೆದಾರನ ಅರ್ಹ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಬಿಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಿತಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಉಳಿದ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೆ net bill ನೀಡುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು net bill ನ್ನು ಪಾವತಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಅರ್ಹ ಯೂನಿಟ್ / ಮೊತ್ತಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಒಳಗೆ ಬಿಲ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಹ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೆ ಶೂನ್ಯ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು.

ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುವ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ಸೇವಾ ಸಿಂಧು ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಪ್ರತಿ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಯು ತನ್ನ Connection ID / Account ID ಅನ್ನು ಆಧಾರ್ ಗೆ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ಜೋಡಣೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಚಾಲ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭಾಗ್ಯ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ / ಕುಟೀರ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಮೃತ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗೃಹ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.

ದಿನಾಂಕ: 30.06.2023 ರ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ (ಜೂನ್ 2023 ರ ಮಾಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸಿದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಜುಲೈ 2023 ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿತರಿಸಿದ ಬಿಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೊತ್ತ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಂತೆ) ಬಾಕಿ ಇರುವ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಶುಲ್ಕದ ಬಾಕಿ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು 3 ತಿಂಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಪಾವತಿಸತಕ್ಕದದು. ಬಾಕಿ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ನಿಗಧಿತ ಅವಧಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಪಾವತಿಸದಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಹ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸ್ಥಾವರಗಳ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವನ್ನು ಕಡಿತಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.

ಗೃಹ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರ ಸ್ಥಾವರಗಳುಗೆ ಮಾಪಕವನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಪಕ ಓದುವುದು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಗೃಹ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಳಕೆದಾರರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸ್ಥಾವರಗಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ, ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಾವರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಹರಾಗುವರು.
