Really loving this cute place. While 66 square meters is not much, the look and feel of this apartment is spacious and cozy.

If you know me, you know that I love the String shelf, it is simple yet distinctive in design and fits almost anywhere. Owners of this home have a large setup in their living room and it looks awesome.
I love how consistent the decor is with the wood and veneer on many of the items here.

Interesting part is the kid's room where the double story bed is made of naked particle board which I am not usually a friend of but it looks really nice here!

Row house with a Nordic perfection and tranquil atmosphere

The architect Ola Jonsson did some amazing work here. This row house located in Östermalm is designed with a Nordic design perfection and the look is truly beautiful.

Inside you can find furniture from Ikea and Jysk along with vintage piece and they all fit together perfectly. With the light gray, white and natural wood tones, the atmosphere is tranquil and calm.

I really like the wooden dividing wall used between the living area and kitchen and the tea drinking area with the legless chairs is a very original, well-developed idea!

Amazing Scandinavian interior with great design and decor

This apartment is truly amazing. It has a perfect combination of retro and luxury design with a very inviting atmosphere.

The base here is a fantastic space with rich stuccoes, high ceilings, wood paneling and spectacular historical fireplaces. It instantly provides added value with luxurious atmosphere.

I would like to start with the kitchen as it is fabulous, large and well designed. With the retro cooker and hood, gold details and gray cabinets it looks both trendy and traditional. There is also a nice small dining table set but the main dining area is located in the separate room.

The dining room is something I would love to have a place for in my home. And it would look very similar to this one here. There is a beautiful, vintage Poul Henningsen's kontrast lamp used, large table and a lovely bunch of black chairs. You definitely should take a closer look at the amazing fireplace with the huge mirror and the carved details on the door frame.

Of course, I can't forget the living room, which is again, very well done. You can find a nice mix of new and vintage design pieces ( like a nice grasshopper lamp ) but nothing is overdone, the place was left so it is clean and spacious.

Nordic penthouse with muted pastel colors

Hope you all having a nice Monday. Today, I would like to take a look at a nice apartment of Rikke Larsen from Copenhagen.

Her family lives in a large, 124 square meters penthouse that was recently redesigned by stylist Sidsel Zachariassen.

The whole place got a new, uniform and modern look. Walls were painted with a mix of gray, pale teal and white and there is a nice amount of other pastel colors used on various decor items.

My favorite part is the living room with the dining area where you can spot very popular Flos wall lamp, nice set of armchair and sofa, cool ceiling lamp, black Verner Panton's lamp and small art wall.

Scandinavian apartment with a perfect decor in Stockholm

When I saw the first photo I have instantly fell in love with the apartment of Monica Holmvik Persdotter's family.

The living room design is simply amazing: Large Persian rug, stylish gray sofa, vertigo pendant light and gorgeous art pieces.

I could say same about the kitchen as well - it looks fabulous with the bluish-gray painted cabinets, marble backsplash and set of Wishbone Chairs. On the other side, there is a huge library and large double doors painted in blue, which is a very nice touch.

Great place to be for sure, artful, well decorated and cozy!

Scandinavian apartment with dark painted walls, vintage furniture and great decor

When I think about the Scandinavian interior, usually a bright, mostly white place comes into my ming. But the house of Mette Holbæk is different, she used dark colors all over the place and the result is really breathtaking.

There is something mysterious and charming about such a dark apartment. I love how the colors are matched together in each room. Especially in the kitchen, the combination fascinates me.

Although the interior may look a bit dark and dramatic to someone, it is decorated with an amazing attention to detail and I am getting just positive vibes from it.

You can find here many great design pieces, starting with a lovely colorful Persian rug, Chairs from Gubi or light from Louis Poulsen. Of course, there is also a nice selection of photography and wall art in every room!

For me, this is one of the most striking interiors I have seen in a while, great, bold design with an amazing atmosphere and unique look. Bravo.

Home with a perfect mix of bohemian and mid-century modern style

I really like the fusion of two very nice styles here, you can find some amazing designs from the mid-century modern era and also current bohemian decor elements.

You can find here a vast range of extraordinary design pieces (like Noguchi coffee table and George Nelson's Bubble lamp) and some really beautiful pattern rugs.

My favorite place is probably the bedroom with a collection of lovely textiles and black/gold lamps.

Peaceful Nordic apartment with the dominant white color

White on the walls, floor, and ceiling, white everywhere. This amazing, clean and serene apartment do not care for colors. It has a simple yet effective palette.

It is really awesome how the wooden furniture pops out from the white background, especially the Arne Jacobsen's Ant chairs in the dining room, where you can also spot an awesome sputnik ceiling light.

There is not almost any decor except the houseplants and few art pieces. Everything is kept simple and clean.

Astounding Scandinavian apartment with mid-century modern designs

What a gem. Welcome to the home of Creative director Martin and his wife My. Located inside of an old 1888 building, it has a ton of charm and personality.

With a size of 156 square meters, there is indeed a lot of space to make your dreams come true, and the owners chose a very nice way to decorate this interior.

In the living room, which is quite minimalist, you can find a very nice sofa from Eero Koivisto and chairs by Barrey & Moltzer. The ceiling lamp is from Ay Illuminate. The only real decor piece here is a couple of photographs behind the couch. There is also a fun piece there - vintage table football. On the second living room photo you can also spot a JWDA Concrete Table Lamp by Menu, my lamp of choice for a next lamp buying madness :)

I simply love the dining room with a couple of classic chairs and my favorite Poul Henningsen's lamp - the snowball. There is a large metal shelf which adds bit of almost industrial feel

The bright and calm dining room is counterbalanced by the dark and elegant kitchen. Black is the ruling color there and with a black painted walls, it has a very distinctive look. I like how the white floor complements the look.

Macramé interior trend inspiration

Macramé is currently being more and more popular especially in the bohemian interiors. These knotted wall hangings are looking amazing and can make any dull or empty wall interesting, even without the use of any color.

I was looking for some inspiration on pinterest and you can see what I found on the photos bellow. Personally, my favorite place for hanging macramé is above the bed, but it looks great practically anywhere. What is your opinion on this trend?

Loft-like Scandinavian apartment with an amazing kitchen

This apartment has one of the largest dining areas I ever saw in an apartment. Combined with the large, industrial-like windows, that place looks truly amazing.

The kitchen itself is quite nice, with the marble tabletop and gold accent, retro electric sockets and lovely use of the String Shelf.

In the living area, there is a nice, refreshing use of colors in a form of a cute orange retro chair, blue rug and a beige sofa. You can also spot a nice amount of wall art there.

In the kids room, there is a lot of nice decor ideas and muted pastel colors. You can also spot a String shelf and Eames Elephant by Vitra there.

I really like the organized and clean look of this place and the fact that it contains many stylish pieces of furniture, what about you?

Amazing minimalist interior of Kristina Dam

Today, I would like to invite you to a small visit into the house of the designer Kristina Dam in Copenhagen.

I am amazed by her decor choices and styling here, as the look of the interior is perfect.
You can spot some beautiful design pieces from Poul Kjærholms, Muuto, Hans Wegner and also vintage Danish Modern furniture.

There is a nice separation of various rooms by using different colors. While the living room is toned in black and gray colors, in next one there is a lot of houseplants, white painted floor and lot of wood.

It is a gorgeous interior where minimalism is not too minimal to be cold or self-sufficient. Love it!

Scandinavian cottage with awesome decor

When I think about a cottage, usually something rustic and old-fashioned comes into my mind, but in Scandinavia, they do things differently.

This little cottage from the 1960s in Vejby belongs to a designer Kristian Lillelund and he really has a great taste for interior design.

I find it absolutely gorgeous. There is the main, white painted area, where purple and blue colors serve as main accents with a help of natural plywood. It is bright and very positive looking.

The owner is indeed a retro design lover as there are many vintage design pieces to be seen around the house. My favorite place is the kitchen, where you can find a ton of Cathrineholm pieces and also George Nelson's Bubble lamp (and you can also spot his black Asterisk Clock in the living area).

The sleeping area, in contrast, is very minimalist and modern, using OSB boards for the walls and ceiling but still being coherent with the main room by sharing that beautiful blue color accents.

It is an amazing project and I would love to spend some time here.

Playful apartment with mint green accents

Tikkie Elsøe is a blogger at Adelie and she lives with her family in Frederiksberg, Denmark. Their house is an exciting collection of old and new design and thrift founds.

I really like the mint color that was used here, mostly in the kitchen. It has a very pleasing and cute look. Also, the rest of the decor is very nice, from the wall art to beautiful houseplants. There is a nice balance between Scandinavian minimalism and bohemian style. Well done!

Botanical decor inspiration from Netherlands

The botanical decor is definitely experiencing a boom right now. VT Wonen recently came up with this lovely interior, utilizing a lot of this trend, with the botanical art, wallpapers and beautiful flowers,

The whole interior is tuned in gray and green tones with some additional accents provided by flowers and decor items. It has a very calming and relaxing look with the right amount of eclecticism.

Bright Danish apartment with Mid century modern furniture

Home of Sunniva Uggerby is such a Stunning place. I love the high ceilings, stuccoes, and wooden floors here.

The whole apartment has a beautiful "Danish design" feel, there are many original Danish modern furniture pieces along with some recent designs. Black, white and teak wood are working great together and creates a very natural and cozy atmosphere.

I have always wanted to own that Danish modern highboard you can see in the pics below. Wishbone chairs are being almost a standard in Scandinavian homes but you can never have enough of them. There is also a nice pair of large industrial lamps above the dining table. I also like how the bedroom and nursery share a similar decor with white painted floors and use of wallpapers.

Bohemian and chic Paris apartment

Sometimes, there are apartments that take your breath away and this is definitely one of them!
This Haussmanian style apartment was redesigned by the Royal Roulotte studio and the owners could be very happy with the final look.

There is a lot to love here. Starting with the wonderful parquette floors, wood paneling and fireplaces. I love how they chose specific colors to use in the different parts of the apartment. That dark green in the library is looking amazing, in the dining area, there is a royal blue bench while the living room utilizes black wallpaper. Oh, and the kitchen is black and chic.

Around the house, you can see a few Tulip chairs and of course some stuff from Eames and I really like the shiny Copper lamp used here.

Splendid apartment, isn't it?

Bright and spacious Nordic villa with serene decor

Happy Monday to everyone! Weather is quite cloudy and depressing today so I was happy to find this sunlit interior full of dreamy, serene decor.

Villa of Camilla Allen, located in Hellerup has magnificent 320 square meters and it is built in 1913. Such a large interior offers a lot of space for decorating but things were kept nicely minimal here which resulted in a spacious and clean look.

Walls were kept white and floors are done in gray wood tone while many decor and furniture pieces are in solid black. Natural and cozy look.

My favorite things from this house are for sure Wegner's Wishbone chairs, situated around the dining table where you also can find a beautiful Arc lamp. In the kitchen, there is an amazing rustic copper hood and I also like those black multi joint wall lamps.

Amazing Scandinavian villa with a cozy and calm interior

After a batch of small places, it is a time for something bigger. This spacious villa is definitely something special.

Iside, you can find a beautiful mix of natural wood tone gray color and a combination of both modern and exotic decor.

These two decor styles fit together perfectly and it makes the atmosphere quite unique and special. I really love the atmosphere here even I am not a big fan of wood ceilings and prefer white here it totally works as there is plenty of light coming through the extensive number of windows.

Apart from the original exotic decor pieces and rustic furnifurnitureI spot some Tolix chairs and Arne Jacobsens AJ floorlamp.

Little apartment with a charming decor

Again, we have here something tiny but with a large portion of charm. While the size of this apartment is only 37 square meters its benefit is, that it is being located inside beautiful turn of the century house against a leafy courtyard. Many original elements have been preserved inside, including wood flooring and stuccoes,

From the decoration perspective, there are many things to look at. Let's start with the basics, you for sure noticed IKEA's Karlstad sofa that is located in the living room and accompanied with a nice selection of pattern printed pillows.

I really like the Nordic look of this apartment, where everything is mostly white with a little bit of black. On this color scheme, it is always very easy yet effective to make a color or tone stand out.
Just like in the case of a beautiful Danish modern chest of drawers or a colorful Hang it all rack.

Another furniture and designer pieces you can spot her are lamp from Verner Panton, String shelf, Ant chair by Jacobsen and always cool Kartell's Componibili.

While the kitchen is being really tiny, it has a nice look to it. It is strongly supported by the use of a very nice wallpaper and contrasting 70's lamp.

All in all, a very cute and cozy small apartment!

Tiny studio apartment with retro and pastel decor

Let's start a week with this cool, tiny, studio apartment, located in in the suburbs of Paris, in Asnières-sur-Seine.

The studio behind it is called Transition Interior Studio and they designed this interior for a 26 years old young man.

The way how they approached the redesign of this apartment is very pleasing and positive. I really like the colors used and also the furniture selection and decor choices - Eames rocking chair, Moroccan rug, JWDA lamp.

Interior is dominated by the large divider wall which also serves as a bookcase. Another nice touch is the white painted exposed brick wall adding to a cozy atmosphere especially with the colorful open box wall shelves ( and the ceramic pineapple :)
