Clean up is a breeze when you use a straw to gather and scoop beads back to their containers. Use a bigger straw - like those from bubble tea shops - for bigger beads.

Summer is approaching, time for flip flop. This is a very easy project. Just make a rectangle and add 2 little straps on top.
Materials:
17 x 4mm faceted bicone glass beads
9 x 3mm fire polished glass beads
30 cm fishing line (8 lb weight) or beading fireline
I used faceted bicone acrylic beads here but I think round beads would work well too. It'll look much more beautiful and sparkly if you use crystal beads (and more expensive too). You can also use one color instead of different colors of beads. And if you use different colors for the 2 square pieces, you'll have 2 looks in 1 pendant! The finished size of this piece measures 2cm x 2cm.

Materials:
60 3mm faceted bicone beads - grey
32 3mm faceted bicone beads - aquamarine
24 3mm faceted bicone beads - green
Size 11 seed beads - grey
Fishing line (4 lb. weight) - 3 x 40 cm
I didn't have any pink seed beads at hand so I did this in 2-tone. You can use 2 mm bicone beads instead of the seed beads or use same color throughout. You can also use 4mm/3mm combination to make it bigger. If you don't sew up the sides of the inside you can insert a picture in between the two hearts and use it as a picture frame.

Materials:
12 3mm bicone beads (transparent)
32 3mm bicone beads (pink)
60 size 11 seed beads (transparent)

3 x 40cm Fishing line (4 lb weight or about 25 gauge) - 1 per heart and 1 for sewing up outside
1 x 30cm Fishing line (4 lb weight or about 25 gauge) - for sewing up inside

Necklace. The finished size is approximately 17" long. I used Chinese crystal beads instead of Swarovski crystal beads here. Chinese crystal beads are much cheaper but the cuttings are rougher, not all beads have the same size and not as sparkling. For the same 4mm beads, the Chinese version is slightly bigger. So if you use Swarovski crystals beads for this project you may need one more set to accomplish the same length.

Materials:
33 4mm bicone crystal beads - purple AB
30 4mm bicone crystal beads - light grey
size 11 seed beads - matt galvanized amethyst
1 10mm faceted crystal rondell bead - light gray
70 inches fishing line

My Daily Bead

How to make a Soccer (Football) with Beads

The quadrennial FIFA inspired me to make this soccer ball. The technique used to make the cross here is a little different from the "How to make a cross pendant" tutorial. The pattern is not that difficult but requires a lot of sewing up of the two sides so a bit time consuming. Add a necklace between the top bicone beads to use it as a pendant. Add a lanyard to use it as a cell phone charm, a short ball chain to make it a key chain, a ribbon to make it a handbag decor. . . I added a ring band and made a ring out of it.
Written pattern is located at this great site: http://www.artbeads.co.kr/recipes/?s_code=ABAG&s_pcode=70700881

Materials:
6 4mm bicone shaped beads
Approximately 50 3mm bicone beads
size 11 seed beads - silver lined, gold lined
fishing line (about 0.2mm) 90cm for the cross part; St. Patrick's Day is coming up in a few weeks. Sending you luck with this 4-leaf clover pattern. The videos below will show to you how to make a ring. But you can easily add a jumpring to make it a pendant or cell phone/bracelet charm. Try using different colors for each leaf for different effect.
Easy to make and only use 4 crystal beads. I showed you how to make 4 variations with this component in the second video: as an earring dangler, a bead cap and a stud earring. You can also use it as the center piece of a ring by adding ring band around it. I used very small size beads for this project because it looks delicate and more like silver and diamond this way. You can use bigger beads to make bigger pieces and different color combination to make a fun piece.

Material:
Main Component:
4 3mm bicone swarovski crystal bead (black diamond AB)
Tiny seed beads in matt silver, faceted cut
15cm fishing line

Additional materials for dangle earrings:
Jump rings
Earring hooks
Bigger Beads (>6mm)

Additional material when use as a bead cap:
Bigger beads (>6mm)
Head pins
Earring hooks

Additional material for stud earrings:
Eye pins
Earring backings
Jewelry glue or thin wire

Wire cutter
Round nose pliers

Additional tutorials to support the above projects:
How to make earrings
How to make earring hooks
How to make jump rings

A Little Bag with Heart

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_oUvH6h8FSIojOhRl2lGdGxCVIUZcoB8xDJkSN3YB_5yO_9-FN0tG_gIJWBVcNHnOQH7l-uvwNmKy9oD7Av66TpNsu07KVwDtygp-v5qB1kuVs9ywxQ5kS1DdFrE-LOhPGtkNts2qJng/s320/heart+bag.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5425595335677840754" />

This is a variation of the little bags. Just 1 seed bead one side, 2 on the other side and cross at the fire polished bead. You can make the circle bigger or smaller by using more or less fire polished beads.
