Health Term V : All About Vitamin

Vitamin is a complex chemicals that are important for body to work properly. For some vitamins, our body can not be able to produce it alone: so it should get it from food and beverages. There are 13 main vitamins: A, B, C, D, E, K, B12, and seven ( 7 ) B Complex. Actually, our body just need a small portion of it.
Vitamin can be classified into 2 groups :

Group of water soluble vitamins
Group of fat soluble vitamins

Fat-Soluble Vitamins

This vitamin is absorbed from intestine with fat, then stored it in fatty tissues inside our body ( primarily in

liver ). This type of fat-soluble vitamins are : vitamin A, D, E and K.

In general, these vitamins would not be removed through urine such as other vitamins. The back-up stocks of these types of vitamins in our body sometimes enough to meet the needs requirements of our bodies for years, so we do not need to supply them every day.

Once the excess of these vitamins can be happened, it is extremely dangerous to our own body. Hence, a balanced diet which contains enough these type of vitamins are good for our bodies. And if there is a deficiency of these type of vitamins, usually caused by the emergence of disorders of fat's function or less-unequal absorption in our own food composition.

Water-Soluble Vitamins

Most types of these vitamins are only stored briefly in body and quickly disposed its excess through urine. exception for B12 vitamin, which is the only one which stored in the liver. That's the reason why it takes 5 to 6 years until the symptoms of deficiency comes up in the surface. The water-soluble vitamins are B12 and C.

Lack of water-soluble vitamins are common happening compare than deficiency of fat-soluble vitamins. That's the reason why is very highly recommended to eat food composition which are rich of water-soluble vitamins every day. Fruit and vegetable are the main producer of these type of vitamins. Consuming vitamin that dissolves in water every day, usually will not causing poisoning ( the excess would be disposed these vitamins through our urine ).

All About Vitamins

Vitamin A : is a main source for growing and developing the bones, teeth for children. And main source for eyes-visual function, composition to cell body for protection to the respiratory cells, digestive cells, urinary tracts against infection, and very good for skin healthiness.

Vitamin A Deficiency :

The lack of vitamin A can be happened usually caused by impaired absorption of fat by the intestine: due to the cystic fibrosis ( genetic abnormality with characteristic where can not absorb the fat and the lungs have had infected ), bile duct obstruction, lipid-lowering drugs usage. Other caused which found in poor and insecurity food area is the arrangement and unbalanced food and nutrition.

Vitamin A deficiency will result in lack of clarity of eyes' vision at night, dry eyes and swollen, dry and rough skin, and less resistant to infection. Severe deficiency of vitamin A would cause the damage to teeth and bones, causing ulcer in eye's cornea ( if not taking an action would lead to blindness ).

Vitamin A Excess

The long term of vitamin A excess will cause hyper-vitamin A, with the following symptoms : headache, feeling tired easily, nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, dry and itchy in skin, hair loss, for women will affect to monthly menstruation in not sufficient and suitable timing, bone pain, swelling in liver and spleen. Excess of vitamin A during pregnancy will cause fetal defects.

Food Suggestion which Rich of Vitamin A

Food stuff that contain vitamin A are as follows : liver, fish oil, egg yolks, milk and its processed products, almost in all type of vegetable and fruit.
Eating food that rich of carotene 9 which are found mainly in palm oil and carrots ). These 2 would not cause hyper-vitamin A
Artificial ingredients like vitamin A is called retinoid is good to lather the skin.

Vitamin B12 : is well known too as sianokobolamin, an important vitamin due to its role-key for some enzymes' activity. B12 is needed in producing genetic materials for cells ( growth function ), in making red-blood cells in marrow bones in its used in folic acid and carbohydrate and smooth in functioning of the nerves system.

Vitamin B12 Deficiency

The deficiency of this vitamin mostly happened because intestinal absorption disorder that can cause megaloblastic anemia, and for some people can be happen because they avoid to eat all food that from animal ( not eating meat, eggs, milk and other results of animal's ). Beside megaloblastic anemia, deficiency of B12 can cause canker sore on mouth and tongue.

If in long term of B12 deficiency is happening can occur the marrow bone damaged with symptoms as follows : numbness in feet or hand, twitch feelings in feet and hand areas, weak of memory, prone to depression.

Vitamin B12 Excess

There is no story can occur once the excess of this type of vitamin due to its water soluble-scheme.

Food Suggestion which Rich of Vitamin B12

The main source of B12 vitamin are easy to find in liver, chicken, meat, fish, eggs, and milk processed products.

Health Term IV : Summary to Malaria

Yiiihaaaawww.. Back again to today post. I would like to write about Malaria disease which is nightmare for most tropical countries in the world. Estimated 290 millions people yearly got this disease around the globe. This disease causes high fever and can be sometimes cause complications to kidney, heart, brain, blood and can lead often to death. In here we have to aware that even small animal can be carrier for disease that perhaps we need to pay attention, do we already do good to nature? In fact, the prevention for this type of disease is not hard compare to Dengue, it needs regular basis treatment to surrounds and be active to keep the nature clean which meaning give the space enough to the mosquitoes to live in their own habitat so they are also will reduce to invade human-beings.

What is Malaria ? and Who can Cause Malaria?

Malaria is a disease caused by a parasite and spread by the the bite of Anopheles mosquito ( as a carrier - red ).

That causes Malaria is the single-celled animals called plasmodium. There are four (4) species that can bring Malaria to humans :

Plasmodium falciparum
Plasmodium vivax
Plasmodium ovale
Plasmodium malarie

Each type of those parasite spends most of their life cycle inside of Anopheles mosquito then again spends their rest of life cycle inside the human's body.

Symptoms and Incubation

The symptoms of malaria are shaking, chills, fever ( only appears when the red-blood cells burst and have more parasites inside the blood ).

The distance range time between the mosquito's bite and the appearance of malaria's symptoms, approximately one or two weeks, somehow there are also emerging symptoms after a year later when the patient ever took anti-malaria's drugs.

Fever Symptoms in Malaria which caused by Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium ovale and Plasmodium malarie

The fever which caused by these three types of parasites have three ( 3 ) stages :

Stage of feeling cold and chills throughout the body
Stage of high fever that can reach 41 degrees of body temperature
Stage of sweating drenched body as like bathing and pyretic.

Occasionally, red-blood cells which parasites have been conceded can be broken at the same hour on each cycle and the fever will appear every two days ( if caused by plasmodium vivax and plasmodium ovale ) and fever can be happen every three days ( if caused by plasmodium malarie ).

Other feelings when malaria comes :

Bad headache
Body aching
Vomiting sometimes can be happen
The end the patient would feel so weak and fall asleep for moments

The Signature Mark of Plasmodium Falciparum

Malaria which caused by plasmodium falciparum should be solved seriously than the three mentioned above. Patient has to be hospitalized.

Plasmodium falciparum invade all red-blood cells in whole its life cycle. Others plasmodium only eat the young -aged or old-aged of red-blood cells. Meaning that plasmodium falciparum is highly malignant by eating and destroying almost whole the red-blood cells and can lead to the death after few hours from its first fever symptom. The fever would take longer and no pattern. So much red-blood are damaged that can cause blockage of the arteries which has role-key play as the supplier food nutrients to important body organs, specially to kidney.

Nodes can swell and affect the brain so that the patient experienced comma and seizures. The destruction of red-cell blood would bring hemolytic anemia. Patient eventually develops liver and kidney failures.

Medication

Doctor would usually provide a function of chloroquin to deadly the malaria parasite in the blood ( usually would be given to the 3 types of plasmodium ovale, vivax and malarie. For the plasmodium falciparium already resist to this chloroquin ).

Once the doctor detects that caused by plasmodium falciparum ( the detection will be doing by the blood test where later will show the amount of parasites already reduce or not yet ), the doctor would give quinine or the drugs which mixed of pyrimethamine and sulfadoxine. If the patient lack of red-blood cells, the blood transfusion is needed to be taken.

After healed, the patient who ever suffered from common three types of plasmodium, usually the doctor would give primaquine to cleaning up the rests of parasites which still stay inside the blood.

Note: primaquine can cause anemia hemolytic to some poeple who has particular gene abnormality.

The prevention of malaria is not hard to do once we do eager to eradicate malaria plasmodium parasite through anopheles mosquito by cutting their life cycles. The easiest way to do are just cleaning up the areas which are possible for mosquito to live ( puddle, water containers etc ). Once it clean the mosquito have no parasite to live in them too.

History Of A Place : The Remarkable Architecture of Borobudur in Indonesia

Yihaaaawww.. Today I would write of our national and international pride temple. Architectural of Borobudur in Indonesia. If Peru has Inca temples, Egypt has pyramids, Greece has Meteora and we are Indonesian has Borobudur and many more where later ( I hope so ) can share with you in different blog special about Indonesia. In this article today is about Borobudur's architectural technology.

We should understand and proud of our ancestors that long time back, with simplicity and minimalist tools, they can build something that ever lasting. Parts of universe to remember that technology of ancestors architectures always remarkable and need to be conserved for the world to see.

The great things in using materials for building Borobudur is that the ancestors used stone and is not like any other old historical building which used chicken eggs as an adhesive material. Borobudur used locked-stone system : inter-linked and locked mutually the stone each other. In short way is like three dimensional structure resembles jigsaw puzzle in aim to strong and solid the building.

Borobudur construction is not known in time exact. It was estimated between 750 - 850 century and was estimated to build this has taken 50 years to complete the works. Borobudur area is 15,129m squares and being made by using 2 millions rocks; locked-rocks ( lego blocks stones ). Average size of each stone was 25cm x 10cm x 15cm. Overall length of 500 km stone pieces, and total weight is 1.3 millions tons. The consideration, why the ancestors made Borobudur on hill was about to cost-controlling of stones usage. And in the other way, there was philosophy behind that why Borobudur had built on the hill for reason to worship the gods to be near to heaven sky.

According to study: there were two ways that ancestors used in splitting the rocks:

At first stone would be marked by sculptured sides. Then, above the sculpture, they lit the fire. When the stones was being fired and became very hot, then the stones was poured-over by water. The hot stone with sudden chilled would burst and split.
Thee stones which wanted to be split marked with carving holes. Every holes filled with a kind of wooden pegs. The wooden pegs were then flushed with cold water. Wet wood would hit the stones until it breaks and splits.

Borobudur Building Structure & Its Philosophy

Borobudur has the basic structure such as staircase, with six yards shape as like square and conical shape-up, three circular courtyard and a main stupa ( shrines to gods ) as a peak and in the yard spreads with many stupa as well. Initially built storey apartment lay-out at first. The Borobudur's architect chose to build it on a hill, which is distinguished this Borobudur than other temples in Java or other places where are mostly was built on flat-ground.
Borobudur has 10 yards as thesecond structure which describing the court of Mahayana philosophy : ten levels of Bodhisattva that must be accomplished to be a perfect Buddha.
The feet area as the third structure of Borobudur which represent Kamadhatu, which means the world still dominated by ' kama ( bad-desire ). This area is covered with pile of stones that allegedly made to strengthened the temple's construction. There are additional closed sections, there are 120 panels which talking about Kammawibanggha story.
The fourth floor with reliefs on the walls which called Rupadathu, The shape of this area is rectangular. Rupadhatu has meaning that a world that can be able to break free from lust, but still bound by the appearance and shape. This fourth level is describing the above nature ( minds ) and bottom nature ( desire ). You will find Buddha statues in the recesses of wall above breezeways.
Starting to the fifth to the seventh floor, the walls not have reliefs. This level called Arupadhatu ( means no tangible form ). The shape of floor is circular. In this part of level has meaning that the nature where already free from desire with no bound of shapes and forms of appearance. But still not in heaven-nirvana yet. Buddha statues are placed inside the stupa which covered with holes as like in cage.
The upper levels has many stupa , and the biggest and largest stupa is describing the absence forms of human, and unite with the universe and already in heaven. The stupa depicted plain and without holes.

The amazing facts of Borobudur structure is that its was built by maths concept in each area of feet, body, and the head of temple has ratio 4 : 6 : 9. History Of A Place : Today is China

I would write about history of a place first, not to continue awhile about philosophy due to my interest today

:-).

I don't understand why my blog spot look likes wikipedia ? I have too many interests guys. So, that's okay right If i write all my interests in here? This is my dream too to go to China, because they have good history and good system to keep their history. Here are a small knowledge about China.

Great Wall

This wall is the longest building which ever made by humans in our beloved earth. One of the seven wonders in the world. This wall was made to prevent the invasion of Mongols at the time. With 6400 km of length and 8m of height, this wall was built in for hundreds years in different dynasty era. As we do know too, that Chinese culture is one of the eldest ones in the world, they have progress advent technology even for the architecture of this wall.

The building was starting since Qin's Dynasty in 220 BC ( even before already had the based of the wall building structure ), they continue made this wall with soil, soil mixed with gravels and simply with by a mound of big-large stones and again the same process of made continued in Han's dynasty.

Continued in Tang's era, they already produced and made advanced the walls with simple bricks. Due to the cost, the usage of bricks just limited in city gate area and the nearest walls where was strategic to withstand the enemy's attack.

Then in Ming's dynasty, the progressive technology of material base was done in making the walls became solid by mixing the limestone and glutinous rice as the cement as the adhesive material to solid the bricks that time. However, to strengthened the wall building; they still used stones in some part of the Great Wall.

Panda

Panda is a mammal; a signature animal from China, even more WWF ( World Wild Foundation ) using this animal as their symbol and also Google ( Google Panda-red; :P ) and of course China's country as symbol itself and also in their money. Panda is originated from central China. We should know too that panda is one of species which is including endangered species in universe with estimated only 1,600 pandas has been living in the world. Then, why this panda is so special for the world even put panda as their symbols?

Panda is categorized in bear family. In Hanzi literature is called pinyin-mao xiong which means ' bear-cat '. In Latin, it called Ailuropoda melanoleuca ( which means: the black-white paws cat ). Why panda is so special because per-taxonomy, panda is a carnivore but its attitude is like vegetarians. Panda almost eat only bamboo even sometimes eats eggs or insects. Because the way it is, same alike a vegetarian ( herbivore-red ), while he etas its ears always moves, looks funny and also panda seems don't hunt; only lay down or sit and eating bamboo, its popularity image as a peaceful animal was created.

The Lion dance ( In Indonesia it called Barongsai )

This is a traditional Chinese ( you can watch movie of Jet Lee. LOL.. He always perform this dance, and I love it because so sportive and artistic ). The dancers would wear cloak or robe which resembles a lion face and body ( sometimes I think it was a dragon image? ). This dance already exist for thousand years now, based in Mr. wikipedia ( the window of knowledge website-red ) : the dance start can be recorded in Chin's dynasty in 3rd century and become popular in the year of 420-589.

At first this dance as a strategic maneuver of Song Wen Di's army against Fan Yang's elephant troops. They almost lose against Fang's troops. Then the warlord named of Zhong Que created derivative lion king stuffed to repel the Fang's troop. And then after, the effort was successful and then being legendary as a dance. And if we do pay attention of the moves in the dance of lion or Barongsai, it is really look like army troops' moves. Full of martial arts.

Okay until here only I can share a bit about China. In Indonesia, the art of lion dance ( Barongsai ) is famous. I love it though. I always wait and love when Chinese New Year celebration, because most of time I can watch this dance in this occasion only.

Yesterday, I was writing about quick summary the basic thoughts in philosophy and which science inventions as an aspect have had urged the philosophy in revolutionary way and could changed the mind and view of the world globally. Today, I will write a bit about the thought of Descartes, so it will be like a serial articles which can have deduction at the end to how the philosophy, science and religion can have such of points to unite.

Rene Descartes was a French actually, which born in 1596. Once upon a time, he was became a soldier in Germany and he got a vision via his dream in 1619; a vision that given by God, one parent of science, in management of one person, and accordingly to one method. He thinks and feels that he must carry out that vision.

" Cogito, ergo sum " ( I think, and therefore I exist )

Discours de la methode ( Description of Method ) in 1637
Meditationes de prima philosophia ( Meditations of Metaphysics ) in 1641
Principia philosophiae ( Fundamental Philosophy ) in 1644

Thoughts

Skeptical method: Descartes wasn't satisfied with the philosophy which had been exist at his era. A philosophy in less of systematically. He emphasized that the old philosophy was lack of scientific method. Descartes offers " methodical doubts ". With skepticism of all things in universe, could ultimately result in something which is really valid, sure and acceptable in human mind. Therefore, a system of philosophy would be formed as a system of exact science. A method with based on axioms and arranged accordingly by logical steps.
' Cogito, ergo sum ' : If I skeptic about a thing, only 1 thing that ca not be denied : the skepticism itself. The newest fresh air brought by Descartes in this term was about the subject's mind as the starting point in his philosophy.
Subject as the center; Before Baroque's era begins, the truth was always based on power beyond humanity ability-such as church authority, holy book, tradition, state power. In Descartes' minds which making it revolutionary philosophy that human himself who become the power whom carry out and bear the facts. The human, who is thinker is the the world center. Human as the subject of thoughts.
Clearly, Positive and Optimistic Opinion : " I think, therefore I exist " ( sounds like '' To Be or Not To Be " ). The optimistic statement of Descartes. He noted that ratio and intelligence are the big helper to achieve the truth. All things can be seen by eyes being clear and positive opinion, it called the truth.
Dualism : Descartes relied that there are 3 substances : God, Thoughts ( cogatio ) which refer to soul: the psychological terms, Extent ( extensio ) which refer to science, the materials. Thoughts and Extent in Decrates' opinion that is one unite, but located in different separate facts, but influencing each other through a small gland deep underneath the brain ???

By his minds, the view of universe has changed due to his influence in Copernicus', Newton's, Galileo's which had been strengthened of their theories and scientific inventions of universe.

Philosophy and Science

Yesterday I wrote a simple article about philosophy in general terms. Today, I would like to share the philosophy in many ages of genres which still related nowadays. In this article, I would just make a quick summary the history of philosophy where become a base later on to the recently minds and thoughts of philosophers and science itself in aim for us to get clear views about the terms.

In Europe, we knew about ' rennaissance ' era ( year of 1400 - 1600 ) which has meaning ' re-born/enlightenment ' after 1,000 years Europe had been in static condition culture. The most factors which made rennaissance era becoming a starting point the development of philosophy and due to the advent of scientific discoveries which are :

Nicolas Copernicus; with his theory ' heliocentric cosmology ' in 1543 which bring world into science revolution in seeing universe that ' sun is the center of universe '.
Galileo Galilei ; he was completed and make perfect the telescope into 3x up- zooming-which this completion had supported Copernicus that Aristoteles era has done. Also, with his completion of telescope works and others navigation devices has brought human specially Europe to have bigger horizon of universe. It bring more capability for people to adventure the world, around the globe.
Leonardo Da Vinci ; with his works in arts, anatomy of human body and also which important was his steam cannon, this steam cannon indicating that the feudalism power was on threat.
Johanes Gutenberg : with his printing press machine. This invention has bring definite revolution for people that knowledge and science was no longer owned by certain intellectual circles, knowledge and science is for everyone.

With a major of revolution in development knowledge in science, arts & literature, impact the social life; people begin to think anew, that is about himself. Human no longer sees himself as ' viator mundi ' ( the person who make pilgrimages in the world ) but as ' faber mundi ' ( the person who created the world ). It crossed clearly that modern philosophy era is having ' anthropocentric ' patterned.

The thing of Greece era and mid-era philosophy were about seeking ' substances ' and main principal that God who was the main principal; which always stated that 'main principal' is above of 'substances' from all over the facts happens in life refer to cosmology-paths.
But in modern-philosophy; the role of ' substance ' was taken over by human as ' subject ' which were conditioned placement below the realities and who ' carry on ' those realities. So, the main principal is us, the human-being.

Following era after rennaissance, the development of in many aspect has happened globally in reformation of thoughts in rationalism, the changes of intellectual & social development, has been declared that human beings as " adult ". The following keywords has been found after subsequent revolving development around ' ratio ',
' empiric ', ' tolerance ' ( in the field of religion and politics ), ' progress', ' freedom ' and ' the worldly hood '.

In the view of Baroque era ( year of 1600 - 1700 ); subjectivity term is almost alike to ' rationality '. Descartes tried to make a philosophy system with ' human thought is in the head '. Rationalism is the intellectual, the intelligence, ingenuity as the main-key to understand the world and universe and in aim to arrange his/her own life. In this era, Descartes was being important as being called ' The father of Modern Philosophy '

And in the year of 1750, there were born " Roman era " where delivered as the feed back reaction to words of ' ratio ' and ' empiric '. In this ' roman philosophy ' emphasized the role of feelings and fantasy. Roman philosophy has influenced most people that time specially in religion, arts and literature.

Then in modern philosophy era, the subjectivity is the main role key in philosophy. Which has been a main link in developing the thoughts and minds with ' I ' as the center in discovering the thoughts, the minds, the actions, the will and the feels as the first fundamental reformation in next movement of developing philosophy.

Philosophy, Science & Religion: Are they connected to each other?

These past few days, I was reading many books and references all over the internet about philosophy, science and religion. Some people knocked my head with all these terms few years ago, since then I love to dig in this scheme. Seems interesting once science and philosophy can not be go along together, in any religions; the philosophy can go along. Which part then in all those three musketeers' have the missing points of views ? Once, I realize those 3 has to go along together in the name of universe's wisdom.

Then, " what is philosophy ? " ; " What is science ? "; and then " What is religion ? ".

Philosophy is a form systematically science which formulating questions related to knowledge of science, causal relationship, thoughts/minds, language and religion.

Science is a systematic efforts by minds that build and organize the knowledge in the scheme of testimonial explanation and predictable all about universe that can be logically and rationally acceptable for human kinds.

Religion is a series collection of cultural system, belief, world views which establishes symbols in earth explicit or implicit relate to humanity and has value as spirituality in moral attitude values and most put the religion as a limitation for private area which having views bigger at first in public aspects.

The Random Thoughts of My Views in Progress of Science, Philosophy and Religion

Science is now advancing rapidly, and the philosophy seems like just stay calm in its place is like there is no progress ( don't you think so ? ). And what we can notice lately that some particular science is less important for some people, because the questions of science had have been answered and corrected time to time specially refer to philosophy in 17th, 18th and 19th century. It were answered one by one and seems as like '' classic-paths " for those 3 centuries philosophers.

Meanwhile, the questions of philosophy in the 20th century schemes still remains actual for human being and I think even all time centuries. Nothing wrong, nothing good: all have same importance.

And what about religion? The development of religion has been taking variety and diversity in cultural of a nation cultures background which having deep intellectual perception parameter in each person or community. That's why I said before religion is a kind of private sector due to the way of views in narrowing from public aspects to private area.

The philosophy itself arguably similar to a world collection museums which have scientific inventions, the minds and thoughts of the world philosophers, and the opinions of scientist experts and philosophers about the universe's life mistery.

Then, that's the reason behind why philosophy is divided into 3 big philosophy traditions.

Indian Philosophy
Chinese Philosophy
Western Philosophy

And we knew that east philosophy and west philosophy having big huge differences. We can see that in Indian & Chinese ( global view-red; because there are many from east philosophy ) is refer to belief, tradition, religion, culture which are reading the system by symbolization & literature where exist in the holy books of religion, literature, cultures genres to next genres, which talking a lot about soul and the real action of human beings. Which then, west thought that it couldn't be just only by literature, symbols etc once the belief system has to be acceptable in scheme of rationally and logically systematic in human's mind. The facts has to be in knowledge of science empirically, such as maths, metaphysics etc; which has meaning having a real object in scheme of science.

In western philosophy there were 3 golden eras :

Cosmocentric in Greece era
Theocentric in mid century era
Anthropocentric & contemporary in modern era

Very clear mentioned above that some centuries already ' classic ' and the 20th century is becoming critical issues, and then now and in future as the time being, the 20th century philosopher would have the answers by inventions, empirical science or what and would proof which one among the 20th century philosopher would remain as the issue that their issues scheme: is it so important for human mankind and universe?

In next post, I would share to you the modern and contemporary philosophy and what essentials substance minds and thoughts which has been being ' critical issues ' until nowadays specially about the father of philosophy: Descartes. ( I really dislike long article, it drive mad too in writing it.. LOL ) and maybe would look like flash back history and then up-front and the red-line scheme to each philosophers; this will be my type of article in this philosophy matters.

Books Are The Windows to The Knowledge Part II

I am back to write about books reference as my promise to share what books that I think nice to read. This post today related to previous post about books too. Here is the Part II about books;

Children Books

Picture and Coloring Books ; I include these kind of books because I have many nieces and nephews and few kids that I take care at home. So my family and I, used to buy them these books and read them story about what inside the books for 2 kids who still can not be able to read at the moments. Mostly, we bought them fairy tale books about beauty & Kindness such as Cinderella, Snow White, Princess etc even more with fairy tale-legendary folks story from our own country Indonesia such as Red Onion & White Onion ( entitle in Indonesia ; Bawang Merah & Bawang Putih - red ), Golden Apple Snail ( Keong Mas - the title in Indonesian ) those books for girls specially but often I read these books for the boys too. At the other hand they can learn how to coloring it, to grow their sense of art also and the the good thing message from the books are about the kindness and how to be sportive in doing things in many ways.

Books of Cinderella, Red & White Onion, Golden Apple Snail

Story Books for Kids; Although above already mentioned and included in story books, but in this part, I emphasized the story books only for children. In this type of books often found lots of words, at mentioned above: inside the books are mostly with simple words and emphasized in coloring. Mostly, I accustomed the children with the folks legendary story from my country. Such as;

Malin Kundang: the story is about the kid who rebels against his own parents specially to his mother whom already deliver him as a success person. But once he has everything, he didn't admit the existence of his own parents and the mother was disappointed to his manner and then she condemned Malin Kundang to become a rock. The rock resembles a person. This story comes from West Sumatera, Indonesia. Below the pictures of book cover and the rock.

The Rock which Resembles a person refer to Malin Kundang Legendary

Sangkuriang; this folk comes from West Java, Indonesia. This Sundanese folk-legendary story was talking about the history of Tangkuban Perahu, the lake of Bandung, Buranggang mountain, and Tunggul cliff and the city of Bandung. This folklore has written references which had been found from ' Manik Poet ' ( Poet = Pujangga in Indonesian language, we called it ' Pujangga Manik ' ) manuscript that he wrote down in a palm leaf. From here, the experts could be able to determine that Sundanese people has been living in highland of West Java, Bandung, Tangkuban Perahu since thousand years before century and was talking about Hindu and Buddha development its religion in some parts in Indonesia.

The folk was telling about a beautiful princess which named Dayang Sumbi, who married a dog which named Tumang. tumang was a tangible reincarnation of god in actual shape was a dog. From the marriage of Sumbi and Tumang, they have 1 child whose named Sangkuriang. Anyway, Sangkuriang did not know that Tumang was his daddy.

Oneday, Sangkuriang went for hunt a boar and did not get any result in the hunt. Sangkuriang put on blame to Tumang that Tumang incompetent to arrest the boar. So, Sangkuriang killed Tumang ( his daddy ) and took Tumang's heart for the dinner at home. Dayang Sumbi was so pissed off, once she knew that the dinner food was Tumang. Sumbi knocked on Sangkuriang's head and injured and also ask Sangkuriang to go out from house. So, Sangkuriang left and went around the world.

After following years, Sumbi had bless from Gods that she would be young and beautiful forever. She would never get old.

One day, Sangkuriang got back to its own home land which already changed a lot. Sumbi met with Sangkuriang. It was telling in the folk that they both were not acknowledge that they were family, mother and son. Sumbi did not know about this at first. And they both fell in love and planned to get married together. Until one time, Sumbi found out the scar in Sangkuriang's head which was exactly the scar of her son. But, Sangkuriang denied it and still insist Sumbi to marry with.

Sumbi later on, made a plan to thwart the marriage to Sangkuriang. Sumbi asked Sangkuriang to make a big ship on a lake by stemming Citarum river in just 1 night. Because Sangkuriang was a descendant of god ( the blood of Tumang ), he was able to execute the demand of Sumbi.

Sumbi was afraid if sangkuriang could be able to do this. She prayed to god ( Sang Hyang Tunggal -red ), she asked how to avoid Sangkuriang's effort in making Sumbi's demands. The god gave her sign that she would throw her own white woven material which called ' irisan boreh rarang ' , so then the dawn would come sooner.

The works of Sangkuriang which were almost done became failed because the dawn had came. The deal was over. he was so mad and kick the ship and it changed becoming Tangkuban Perahu, and the stemming river was dried the water and change into the city of Bandung. He ran and tried to catch Sumbi which she was running away to Putri mountain and suddenly changed herself becoming a ' jaksi ' flower in purpose that Sangkuriang would not recognize her. ( jaksi flower is narcissus flower, a type of daffodil ).

Equatorial Area in Our Beloved Universe are Getting Thicker

Based on new facts found recently by NASA GRACE that the earth in equatorial region is getting bulged. Experts and community already knows that earth is not perfectly spherical. This caused by ( the unknown massive? ) speed of rotation of earth in its axis: causing the water on earth surface's more gathered at the equator areas.

To add as a note that some knowledge invention found that before 20,000 years ago that the ice-water still covered most located in the earth at north area, then slowly in time-line humans' history that the ice starting melting. Humans know technology and the global warm start builds itself on earth and space due to humans activities. Due to melting activity of ice, weight of ice is decreased and the pressure is being increase so then the side effect of it , was bringing the soil ( which before stayed underneath the ice glaciers ) went up slowly to the upper surface of earth. And we do agree the weight mass of soil is heavier than ice. And logically if the melted ice ( water-red ), flowing around together with soil and we do know too that water and soil always following down to its container shape and which is the equator area is the gravity center which has the strongest magnetic power; make the water and soil collaborating together become the loyal equator's follower due to its gravity which owned by the equator. It is perhaps the answer why the earth is getting thicker in equator areas.

We do all know by the news that global warming was the most contributor which is causing the melting of glaciers in earth such as in Greenland and Poles and making the equator area is getting fatter. But then is there any affects because of this terms?

'' Yes, there are affects ".

According to the data, the 2 hemispheres of earth loses 382 billions tons ice per-year. Because of decreased burden of continent would allow the soil to rise up and make the planet earth more rounded even would take thousands years to form this. At the meantime, the thickness growth at equator reaches 0.7 cm/decade. Meaning is by the time, earth is slowly change the shape. ( Will it be look like an egg or ball or what? )
When there is changes of earth shape especially in equator area ( where equator is the biggest magnetic area ), then there will be changes to its gravitation due to the changes mass distribution of ice-melting through ocean and the gravity is related to oceans activity and depending to the mass distribution of ice-melting water flow-speed can make things changed as its habits before. Meaning what? If, ice melting and flowing around with soil and if the soil is bigger number than the number of ice-melting water: there would be shallowing seas or oceans, shortened oceans which will be more creating new lands, the changes of equator area gravity, and the time-rate globally.
But then due to mentioned above, once the number of ice-melting water is bigger than soil; and the huge wave of oceans which lately can not be detected properly, can drown a land. It would be like Atlantis history ( you know about Atlantis right ? )
We do know, that we have 3 % of proper water that we can drink which lay at front of us by the universe. And most of this proper water, was kept in glaciers as iced; then can you imagine what will be happen? The proper water would mixed with the water ocean; the salty one and the number of ocean in earth is 97% of total water in this universe. Don't we understand this? Meaning the water would be salty then, because it mixed with huge mass of salts by the oceans and seas. Meaning is? Start respect the water lately and now on and use water as wisely as we can.
Related to point number 3, once the number mass of ice-melting water is bigger than soil; it would depends on the speed-rate bit of water oceans flows. We do know too that these cold poles, beneath their glaciers exist pro-active comma volcanoes ( based on recently inventions ). Have you seen and read and understand the connection of these? Once, the volcanoes active and ready to blast, we should think the potential which might happen once its happens in future ahead. Why? It is oceans, volcanoes, glacier melting, bit-rate of mass distribution and the changes in good and bad. Let us think together and sort it out by doing wise things to this beloved universe then.

Batik as an Art Cultural and Pride of Indonesian Society

Have you seen that picture above? The picture is about one of batik motifs that painted in a cloth. This batik is from one of the regions in Indonesia; Madura, East Java. Some of us around the globe may know already about ' batik ' word and refer to art which Indonesian batik is one of ' Intangible World Cultural Heritage of Humanity ' in 2009 by UNESCO.

Then, for you who still don't know what ' batik ' is ? I would explain a bit about batik in global views.

" Batik is one of cultural art of Indonesian paintings by using special techniques in making the motifs which has been representing the motif as its own characteristic signature from one culture tribe or a particular region in Indonesia and by using wax-resist dyed ( using ' malam '-red ) in most common technology usage where it made on many type of cloth materials, on canvas etc "

Etymology

In its etymology, ' batik ' word itself was derived from 2 words; ' amba ' which means write and ' titik ' which means dot/point.

Batik as an Art Culture in Indonesia

Batik has been becoming Indonesian's root cultural specially for Javanese tribe. Batik has been existed in Indonesia starting in 12th century due to the note of G.P. Rouffaer although he was noted that it wasn't sure, only the hypothesis shown from the ' canting ' ( tool for painting the cloth ) and the motif of ' gringsing ' which were found in the statue artifact of Prajnaparamita ( one of the Hindu Goddess ) in East Java.

In Europe, Indonesian batik history was written in a book of Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles which entitled

" History of Java " in 1817. In following years, Van Rijekevorsel gave his batik collection that he got from Indonesia to ethnic museum in Rotterdam, and in the year of 1900, this batik which has been ethnic museum belonging was performed in Exposition Universelle in Paris, and batik Indonesia have had becoming the apple eyed of audiences because its beauty in its arts.

The reasons why batik has an artistic substances because the way in making it. The techniques of wax-resist dyed which would taking details in doing it, the substances in coloring ( before there was limited colors options because still using some trees' parts such as for brown color, the leaves for the green color, or magenta-red was made from the mixed of flower and the stick of tree ) and also the tool which using ' canting ' which only found in Indonesia and also refer to batik's motif where each motif written in a cloth would symbolized of one tribe or social status of a person or specific signature of one region represented in the motif of batik itself and the beliefs. Every batik has its own story, that what is art all about.

The influences of other countries in batik art of Indonesia also strong. Refer too what mentioned above of G.P. Rouffaer that it wasn't sure when exactly the time-line of batik was started in Indonesia, because it might be from India or Srilanka. As noted also in history that the technique of wax-resist dyed has been already existed in the 4th of century in Egypt as the eldest culture in the world due to the invention of mummy's clothes which has this type of technique in using ' malam '. And also by the art history written the same technique was found too in China, India and Japan due to the invention of artifacts.

Once, we pay notice in those art from each country, Indonesian batik has all those countries influences. Such as in some batik, you would find lovely bright colors which influenced by Chinese style in coloring or phoenix motif in a batik has been influenced in Indonesian batik art itself.

And then you would find also tulip flower motif, this tulip or flowers motif was coming from Netherlands. Indonesian adopt this motif by the transferring information once Dutch was our colony. Also the technique

' stamp ' and ' print ' to make easier the production due to the time-line process effectively, which has been introduced by Netherlands too.

Types of Batik

As it was mentioned before that after following years, batik was doing its progress in the way of making it. So here are the type of batik itself :

Batik Tulis ( Written Batik ); means is the drawn cloth media with motif by using a liquid wax, where the wax was put inside a ' canting ' ( for subtle motif ) and for large size it use brush. After the depiction has been completed, the cloth that had been drawn with motif; it goes to next coloring process accordance the wish of the maker, usually would start from the mild-colors then goes to darker-colors. After finished, the maker rinse it into some liquid water in aim to produce a smooth nice texture production of batik as desired once before and drying processing under the sun. This process would take time 2 or 3 months for one batik. ( note : long time back, in making it a batik they use natural coloring without chemical but lately hardly to find the real batik tulis and once we find it it will expensive cost )
Batik Cap or Batik Print ( Cap = Stamp ); this is the advance technology by using copper mold to draw and coloring the batik. We all do know about this right?. This process would just take 2 or 3 days only.
Batik Lukis ( Lukis = Painting ); this as only derivative in art. It just need acrylic coloring paints and painting it into media such as in canvas.

The Most Famous Batik in Indonesia

The most famous batik is from all over Java areas, even some anthropology experts believe the real root of batik were from East Indonesia ( Toraja, Flores, Halmahera and Papua; due to the history that these areas where found by the experts that they are the eldest culture in Indonesia which already knew how to do batik at first ). However, still Java who has the specific and lot of models, types and colors in its progressed.

Most of Javanese batik has own its symbols which has meaning behind the motif, it talks lots about belief of animism, dynamism, Hindu or Buddha. The most progressive area in making batik is in Solo, Central Java.

The Other Technique of batik from Minangkabau area, Sumatera.

This technique almost extinct once Japan was our colony. This technique called ' batik tanah liat ' ( tanah liat = clay ). The maker uses clay soil for coloring batik. Most traditional motifs are sea horse motif, phoenix motif which influenced by Chinese culture.

Nowadays this batik term ala' Minangkabau starts to rise up again.

The Existence Of Bacterium In Universe

Dear readers,

Yesterday I was writing about the existence of Virus in the universe, so today I write about the bacteria. I write this article because after I tried to search what virus was and then again I interested to know better what bacteria is. To understand this creature. I was blind before, but now I realize there are so many things in life that we can not see with naked eyes that they are exist and also part of us. Realize or not, these small creatures give big impact into our life.

Unique Characteristic Facts of Bacteria

Most of bacteria do not harm humans, only few are harmful. The harmful bacteria that can cause disease referred to pathogenic bacteria or germs. the friendly bacteria help humans in destroying the food so would be easy for other body organs to digest and absorb the food in intestine.
Bacteria is colonized creatures.
Bacteria live in the air, soil and water.
Bacteria which colonized in human body breeds prolifically in moist and warm condition
Most bacteria require oxygen and are called by aerobic bacteria. They grow near the skin surface and respiratory tract.
Bacteria that do not need oxygen are called by anaerobic bacteria. They grow in tissue, deep wounds, and colon.
Most bacteria do not move. Bacteria that can't move usually spread with the flow of blood, body fluid or air flow.
The few that can move, they are very agile and can swim using its whip.
Bacteria's reproducing system by dividing every each itself in every 20 minutes.
When bacteria in state of danger, some of bacteria can be able to form themselves as like a strong bag to take cover themselves. The bag form called as spore.
The aerobic bacteria that can be able to form spore called as bacillus. The placement of spore in bacillus is static, such as : in the middle of the body which called central spore; located at the end of the body which called terminal; located between central and terminal which called as sub-terminal.
The anaerobic bacteria that can form spore called as clostridium.
The shape of spore can be like a ball or shaped like a bar.
People familiar with bacteria since the 17th century once the invention of microscope. However, the understanding of pathogenic bacteria acquired in the mid of 19th century by Louis Pasteur.
Based on shape, Ferdinand Cohn ( 1872 ) divided bacteria into 3 categories : shape as like round ball which called as coccaceae/coccus; shape as like bar which called bacteriaceae/bacillus; shape as like spiral which called spiriltaceae.
In coccus there are differences in the shape too and it is divided by 3 shapes. Regular coccus which has shape just like a round ball shape, such is in diplococcus pneumoniae which almost alike triangle shape, and in gonococcus which almost alike a coffee seed shape.
In coccus, it is categorized based on they way the gather; coccus which always clustered two called by diplococcus, coccus which always clustered four called by tetracoccus ( Gaffkya ), coccus which always clustered eight ( shape as like cube ) called by sarcina, coccus in a row as chain called by streptococcus, coccus in a row as like grape called by staphylococcus.
In bacillus most shape are alike round in the end such as in bacillus anthrax ( which caused anthrax ), and also shape alike sharp-tipped such in bacillus fusiformis.
In bacillus, also it is categorized based on the way it clustered, but only divided by 2 type ; bacillus which always clustered two which called by diplobacillus, and clustered like a line called by streptobacillus.
In spiral were divided by the length and the wave of spiral. Some spiral has long shape which has 1 or 2 wave & if short the shape almost a like a curved rod-shape, i think is like a coma (,) which called vibrio.

Substances Contained in Bacteria's Body

Material which contained in bacteria are water, albumen ( albumen, globulin, nucleo-olbumin ), carbohydrate

( polysaccharid ), fat, lifoid, and salt which contained Na, Ca, P, S, Cl etc. The shape of bacteria can be change depends on how much protein in a media where the bacteria live and grow.

The Body Structure of Bacteria

Granula;this is a part based for bacteria for saving the food for bacteria itself which contained substances mentioned above. This granule shaped such as dots (.) which called by volutin.
Core / Cell Nucleus; we know already that bacteria is a cell, and we do know in a cell there is always a main core. In bacteria we can find stately the core but some of bacteria the core mixed with protoplasm around the bacteria body.
Cytoplasm membrane ( Ectoplasm & endoplasm ) ; in bacteria body there is ectoplasm which surrounding the endoplasmic. In streptococcus and streptobacillus, the ectoplasm is solid and connected, but the endoplasm is not homogenous and can be easily filled with substances which the origin is not clear. Cytoplasm membrane; in some bacteria, it has cytoplasm which shaped like a sheath and as like mucus.
Hair Whip: For some bacteria that can be able to move; in its body structure showed that bacteria has hair as like a whip to move which made from from protoplasm which called ectoplast. These are the classification of bacteria with whip in its body or at the end in its body :

bacteria which has only 1 whip at end of its body; called by monotricha
bacteria which has two whip in its body, called by amphitricha
bacteria which has many whips in its body, called by lophotricha
bacteria which has so many whip hair around its body, called by peritricha
bacteria with no whip hair, called by atricha

Health Term III : The Existence of Virus in Universe

Refer to my previous posts most of diseases caused by virus. Then today I try to write about what virus is. Its existence in this universe. So we all do understand what the meaning of virus itself and its reference due to diseases. Here we go what definition of virus is ( but this is only a simple view, please if anyone eager to enrich this part, kindly sending me email ). Hope it will be useful for all of us.

" Virus is the smallest type of germs that cause disease which has sized approximately

0.5 to 0.01 the size of the smallest bacteria "

The difference between virus and bacteria is in the structure and the way of breeding of virus were far more modest than bacteria.

Up to now, the presence of virus is still questionable. Whether the virus is including in living creatures or just a collection series of molecules that can reproduce itself in a state favorable for the virus itself.

The main work of virus is attacking the other organism cells, which then invasion and make it that cell to be its own place culture to do reproducing. Once the virus outside the cells, it can not be able to do it works. Virus can not hold its typical work-scheme as other living creatures do: such as metabolism processing ( processing nutrients in the body ).

Virus is a parasitic form to all living creatures in the universe as like in mammals, reptiles, birds, insects, plants, algae, even in bacteria. Most viruses are caused disease, although some are not.

Virus Structure and Its Method of Breeding

Note: In this part, I would write the interesting subject of virus. How they formed itself as like they are maths experts in doing this. I appreciate this part, that every creatures has their own unique characteristic, then it make me so in love with all this universe which has shown us in every single creature in life.

A virus that consists of only 1 piece of nucleic acid core which surrounded by 1 or 2 protective layers that made from protein.
This protective layer is formed by a number series of sub-unit protein arranged to be congruent symmetrical shape, such as spiral like a tube or square formed ( don't we notice this, it is like geometry isn't it ? )
Beyond the first layer there is again a second layer which called by virus envelope. This envelope consists of protein as well. Sometimes the envelope disappears when the virus enters the cell.
Nucleic acid which contained in the nucleus of a virus called genomena. Genomena consists of a string of genes that has command codes to multiply the virus itself.
Virus core was divided into 2 types; viral core may contain DNA or RNA.

Health Term II : All About AIDS

Today I write a bit : All About AIDS. Just crossed my mind once my old friend was passed away, he was dead and judge as the " The Cursed Disease " refer to his HIV/AIDS per - rumour ( I don't know exactly what the dead cause) . He got that disease because he was a drug user, using drug with needle. In here I would just re-write the articles which flying around in books and internet and make this simple by explaining in global views only and to enrich my site in health section. I acknowledge myself by writing this and share it to the universe. Hope it will useful for anyone.

What is AIDS

AIDS is abbreviation from Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, namely loss of the immune body due to HIV infection.

What is HIV

HIV is abbreviation from Human Immunodeficiency Virus. So, HIV is the virus which cause AIDS. HIV is 'retro viruses' just lately days in past 30 years this virus came up into the surface of the world and made the world also curious with the way of HIV's movements. Previously this HIV was called HTLV or LAV, which officially in 1986 the name changed into HIV.

This virus attacks the T4 cells in the body which in charge of organizing the body defense's mechanism. Not all people who infected HIV will be positive get AIDS, only 1% - 5% who ended up with AIDS. But if someone already has been positive diagnosed by AIDS, will not be able to escape from the death angel in sooner time-being.

Who Can Get Easily Affected By HIV/AIDS

People with AIDS are mostly found in people with homosexual, bisexual, drug users who injected by contaminated syringes. Sometimes the recipients of blood donors may also be affected by AIDS for receiving contaminated blood with virus in it.

AIDS Transmission

The principal ways of AIDS transmission are :

Intercourse ( men's & women's genital, anal and mouth ) also Heterosexual relations with patients or carriers of the HIV virus
Ties blood to blood ( bloods transfusion or sharing needles )
From mother to fetus

Other routes of AIDS transmission which rarely exposed are :

Wounds caused of contaminated needles
Contaminated kidney recipients
Recipients of tainted sperm donation

Common Mistake of Thoughts that AIDS can be Transmitted are :

" Transmission of the virus doesn't occur through touching, holding, breathing the same air,

use a plate of glass of the patient "

Diagnose & Symptoms

Diagnose by doing blood tests, in aim to find anti bodies to HIV can be done to determine whether a person suffering from this virus.

The incubation stage which found through the result of blood tests can be treated with anti - biotic medicines, anti-cancer, anti-virus, and radiation. Today I gather some information what already around internet and making it a simple review due to my previous post before due to rhabdosyarcoma. Then, what is the different between malignant tumors ( cancer ) with benign tumors

Malignant tumors ( cancer ) while growing and developing capable to spread and penetrate the surrounding tissues and capable to clog the channels, damaging the nerves, and eroding the bone.The way the cancer spreads is through the veins of blood vessels and through lymph channels to other body parts.

And the way of benign tumors is reverse than malignant tumors.

Who Can Affect The Cancer

Cancer is a disease that has been already existing before centuries. Cancer can be happen to humans, pets, birds, and fishes. Cancer can occur in infants due to the events during the pregnancy most happens because of the radiation. Most cancer can be found in adults.

How Cancer Can be Grow and Develop in the Body

Cancerous growth begins at the time when oncogenes ( genes that control the growth and breeding developments of cells ) which live in cells are changed by an element which called carcinogen.

Experts assume that in breast and lung cancer, the abnormal cells that have been there 5 years earlier since the first time the patient have had felt the first symptom.

Review of Rhabdomyosarcoma Cancer

Today I was watching a movie entitle " Surat Kecil Untuk Tuhan " ( It's Indonesian tittle; meaning in English is Letter to Heaven - red ). This movie is an Indonesian movie which about Gita Sesa Wanda Cantika which had nick name as Keke who still brave and never give up to the life even she got Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer and this cancer took her life. The movie is based on true story in Indonesia whom happened to Keke; she passed away in 2008, She was just 13 years old that time, when she got noticed she was infected that cancer. She was the first person who infected Rhabdomyosarcoma in Indonesia.

In this film are told that Keke was a jolly person: everyone loved her. She was exceptionally well in school, in modelling and the world to sing. Her life was perfect until finally the cancer came to her life. But she didn't give up. She struggled her cancer and always keep the faith that things would be fine, and ever been declared that she was cured. But then again, the cancer came back again into her life, even more deadly. The cancer made her pretty face became damaged, her body became weakened and often bloody nose, and her long hair got slowly loss.

It is said that there is beautiful statement from Keke; she wanted to be like Sirius star. A star which always shines bright despite bad weather even once.

Rest in Peace Keke - Gita Sesa Wanda Cantika.

Obesity is different from being over weight.

' Obesity is a disease due to excess body fat '.

Then what is the parameter of obesity itself then?

1. People have not considered obese when weight has not been above 20% of ideal weight for her/his height.

2. Obesity can be happen when there is difference in energy supply and the body usage.

So, many times found that obesity people sometimes not eating more than the skinny people. There is no exact parameter yet how to definite obesity due to the difference of the energy needs in a person. Energy needs are determined by the energy needs to maintain the basic body metabolism, namely the energy needed by the body when rest time to perform vital organs function.

Then what causes obesity?

The thing to note is that are genetic predispositions that contributed in a person obese. Children whose parents are overweight have a tendency to be obese 10 times more than ordinary weight parents.
Over weight because low basic body metabolism most happen in over weight people because they are not moving actively the body so much

Last night I was remember my old fellow in Dubai. I wandered how is she right now. Is she fine? She was a fun friend for me, we worked in different outlet but we stayed at the same flat that time. We talked about many things. She is an Arabs from Morroco, a really fun friend. But, sometimes I concerned about her because she is always taking insulin injection after she ate due to her diabetis mellitus, she has to take it. She has this diabetis mellitus in early age in 25 years old. Then, now what I do? I search in Google what is diabetes mellitus and what is insulin? Really, due to my previous post which entitled Let's Move Our Body and Mind where WHO noted that diabetes mellitus was in the Top 5 that we need to aware a lot. In this post, I want to share a bit knowledge which I can summarized from Google about what diabetes mellitus is and what insulin is. Hope it will be useful for all of us.

" Diabetes is a disorder because the pancreas doesn't produce insulin or produce insulin but not sufficient, so the patient experience hypoglycemia ( glucose level is too high )"

" Insulin is a hormone that regulates the absorption of sugar; from liver cells to supplying energy to fat cells to be stored it ".

Meaning is the insulin have a role-key to stimulating glucose blood uptake by the liver and the muscle cells to be burned for energy or converted as glycogen ( muscle sugar ). When and if necessary, insulin can be able to change again the glycogen into glucose to meet the needs of our body for facing physical activity or facing the thread. In the short way, insulin has an important role play to serves and keep all the networks body to obtain adequate quantities of glucose.

Inability the body in using and storing glucose lead to weight loss and often feel tired, and cause chaos of lipid's metabolism and can speed up the damaged to small blood vessels.

There are 2 main types of diabetes :

Diabetes that depending on insulin. This type is categorized as the heavy one. Appeared at the age below 35 years old, between ages of 10 - 17 years old. The disease is growing very fast. The cells which producer of insulin in pancreas that may damage by the immune system suppressed itself followed by a certain virus infections. But it is noted that this type is a genetic, but once the dust of actual fact it was noted that just only few who are true affected heavy diabetes mellitus. This become worst because of ( perhaps ) affected by a viral infection that attacks the pancreas on hold several years ago.
Diabetes that not depending on insulin. This type of diabetes develops slowly, specially attacking those 40 years old of aged. Many has discovered by doctors due to this term on patients while doing routine medical check up. Insulin still made, but the amount is not sufficient for the body needs. This is also genetic. Particularly attacks those are over-weight.

The cause of diabetes in addition of an offspring, can also be caused by something else such as obesity, pancreatitis, thyrotoxicosis, some drugs on corticosteroids and dieuritic, some infections, pregnancy. Those mentioned before can cause or aggravate the diabetes melittus.

Care and Treatment

Goals of care for those in the detection who has possibility of diabetes or for those who already affected by diabetes is to prolong life, relieve symptoms, and prevent long-term complications.

Diabetes patients with insulin-dependent ; care and treatment means regular injections ( can be taken alone or with other people ) 1-4 times a day in accordance with the doctor's advice. Patients should reduce the input of carbohydrate and split evenly in a day in a tight schedule and regular basis. Patients is advised to bring sugar grains to prevent hypoglycemia, strictly forbidden to fly a plane, train or work done in high places because it is dangerous when the disease comes to attack.
Diabetes patients with non insulin-dependent; the treatment can be often solved by diet only. Setting up the carbohydrates evenly in a day to prevent spikes in blood sugar levels. When the diet can not be longer lower the glucose, the patients will be given by hypoglycemic drugs that can stimulate pancreas to produce more insulin, but it remains to be done with focused and regular diet and doing sport to support the diet aim and reduce the weight.

Advice

People with diabetes are encouraged to have a card that stating that he/she is a diabetics and always carry it anywhere, if attack anything happens will soon overcome and given appropriate help.
People with diabetics are encouraged to become members of diabetics group in aim to reinforce and support each other and can be able to obtain the latest information 'on how' the latest treatment in well and properly schemes.

Complication

The most heaviest complications were found are: ulcers in the leg which can lead to foot amputations, constriction blood vessels, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disorder, and cataracts.

Complication most found because the patients doesn't follow the doctors' advises. Meaning is that it is a high awareness and do the advises in preventing the complication, only with high discipline and regular basis treatment, so many diabetics people can live as most normal people up to an old ages life.

Is The Chemical Fertilizer Good For Our Plants in Universe Future ?

I am joining into LinkedIn.com, and joining to the group of ' Home Garden ', I never speak much in that group only I notice what they have been talking about and learn many things in there from anyone; how do they plant the flowers, the trees even more for the farming. It is great valuable knowledge I get in there, more and more I respect all these creatures in this beautiful universe.

Then about a week ago, I read newspaper refer to brown plant hopper pests were widespread in Java, one of island in my country lately. B. Merle Shepard, Emeritus Professor from Clemson University , USA said that we need to stop massive usage pesticide immediately due what his noticing what happen in Java almost alike what already happened to Phillipines in 1980's once he was in International Research Institute in Phillipines. He said that in seminar meeting " Natural Organic Farmers Venues " ( Galanggang Alam Petani Organik - in Indonesian language - red ) in Padang, Indonesia, July 22 2011.

He has a good point and reasonably so much, that pesticides sprayer could kill the ' natural microbial ' who has the important role key as an army soldier for the soil. My dear lovely good friends are inventors and been through long research until they can be able in making this bio-organic fertilizer in 2007; why these natural army so important for the soil and as the best result making the bio-organic fertilizer for fixing the soil so much better than we use chemical fertilizer.

At first the reason why this chemical fertilizer came up at beginning in aim to faster and speed-up the production of farms. But, then if we notice in-organic fertilizer dominant have 3 elements which needed for the plants even for animal to speed up the growth production. That's why inside In-organic fertilizer rich with N ( Nitrogen ) TSP/SP 36 --> P ( Phosporus ) --> K ( Kalium ) KCL ( Kalium Chloride ) and if we pay attention they have great mass included inside in-organic fertilizer. Check elements to wiki. For moments it is great for speeding-up, but then we did forget that plants or animals even human beings in this universe not enough with those 3 elements only. The balance will not be gained ( The nutrition-red ) once only those 3 elements were dominant.

And the problem is that the dominant 3 elements in-balance the soil itself. Inside the soil they do have microbiological, small creatures who can deselect unnecessary elements and helping the processing in making health the soil. But then, the in-organic fertilizer needs pesticide which at first had a purpose to armed the in-organic fertilizer in speeding-up the growth. In a year it was good for speeding up the growth and good result in producing the the agriculture products. But, in long term usage, it would kill and reduce the numbers of these small little creatures who has the important role - play in nature for rehab the soil.

The humus organic have being tired too, to work over time in deliver the healthy layers beneath to the top soil time to time, the beneath humus elements don't have its little armies to help them to do this. During the time because of deterioration performance to humus and micro-small little creatures made the soil getting dry and unhealthy due to the lack of its own elements nutrition. And with the making process in fermentation to create the small soldiers army which rich of humid acid and vulvat acid to re-structuring the soil ground even to the beneath layers. In the balance of it contents already have natural pesticide and that's great to avoid the usage of chemical pesticide.

And for you if the soil just normal, do the organic fertilizer then. It is easy in making it, only needs animal feces as like goat's and many dead leaves or dead sticks from trees; anything from the plants itself would become useful for humus organic fertilizer. More even we can use the dirt water after we clean up the fish once we want to cook it. It would rich the soil too. It is easy too if some funny creatures come to attack, we just need baby soap to spray it, no need advance pesticide machine killer or blah blah to re-attack them. As like worm, do not kill them, just remove them and put in the cage let them grow as natural it is, because we need them to fly again as butterfly and spread the seed to reproduction activity cycles for many times which needed in many plants.

In USA the usage of bio - organic or organic fertilizer in farming activity is increasing 20% nowadays, more people concerns about this matter due to the relationship to our own good sake universe even the good sake of our own healthy. In Singapore, they are prohibiting the usage of in-organic fertilizer and pesticide. Now in Indonesia since 1986, the government prohibited 28 ingredients active material in 57 brand name of pesticides. Still, Indonesia needs to improve the bio-technology for farming-terms due to Java already infected with this plant hoppers. I do believe it will solve soon, because now my friends and I we gather to spread about their inventions by internet pretty soon; and now in process to making it. Hope it will bring back the good sake for our universe and start from our home country then to abroad.

We are humans being to be able invent many technology, for some reasons it might be good, but some other reasons might be not good for human kind; this is our part now to think about it and take action. Once most soil in the world get hampered, what would be this humans in future? Radiation of pesticide body parts live in ours. And the sickness of funny diseases would be the most fear then.

Anyway the benefit doing organic or bio-organic farms we can bypass the cost of pesticides budget, you will prove that if you doing that, because all elements in its surrounds making good friends to each others as what We do at home to our small garden. My mango trees never stop producing its fruit, every month always sweet natural taste; if we do organic, of course. And other plants always again and again re-stock even we give to neighborhood and green the street along our house area. Love this life as it is, Love this universe as it is and take benefit but again we keep maintaining it too in aim for our own good sake.

In my article this time, I would like to introduce a bit about history of Indonesia. A country where I was born into this beautiful universe, a country where I learn many things and be proud be part of an Indonesian. I want to share to the world what and how Indonesia is. I believe one day, this my beloved country will be 'something' because our richness in natural sources and why this country being a country that so full of blesses. I wish all Indonesian out there, somewhere would read this and share it as a 'history talks' that we are rich and we are proud of it.

Indonesia is an archipelago country in the world. One of the biggest ones which exist in the universe. Why? Because Indonesia has big islands and small islands with big number of areas consisted in it.

' Indonesia ' Term is Related with Earth Science

Indonesia first coined by a British ethnologist names James Richardson Logan in 1850 which he use this Indonesia in relating with earth science. Again later, by G.W. Earl also used Indonesian in his ethnology term frame-work. He mentioned, " Indonesians and Malay - Nesians for Malay archipelagos residents ". Again in 1862, Maxwell made a book about earth science entitled " The Island of Indonesia " and in the next following years in 1884 the expert ethnology named Adolf Bastian used Indonesia as his term in ethnology frame of work.

The Origin History of ' Indonesia ' and ' Nusantara ' Word Derived

Indonesia word derived from :

indus ( in Latin ), which means Indian.
nesos ( in Greek ), which means island ; nesioi ( in plural term of use 'nesos' ), which means islands.

so, the conclusion that Indonesia means the Indies islands. Very clear that at first used the term of Indonesia for earth experts in aim for science material.

Beside name of Indonesia, the country also named as ' Nusantara ' ; the word of ' Nusantara ' was taken from an ancient Javanese language :

nusa, which means island

Then, officially ' Indonesia ' is being used as the name of our country on August 17, 1945 once when was Indonesia Independence Proclaimed.

Broad waters/Seas& Oceans in Indonesia is : 3,272,100 km2.

Overall is 5,191,543 km2.

Named islands and already humans in islands are 11,801 islands.

Dear Readers,

Today I am inspired to write down and share with you refer to self defense for women specially, because I remember that I ever felt threatened by a guy that I don't know in the street and tried to snatch me.

For some women may not have martial arts abilities to fight the man who has the power slightly stronger than women are. Specially the " jerk-off " who just like to against women for nothing and do harsh to some women. I ever involved in martial class when I was teenager; the coach taught me how to effective the self defense for women using the reflex within ourselves, by using the goods in ourselves in most everyday and stay focus to not be fear of that kind of person.

The Tips & Tricks are :

Fight your fear. Stay focus and don't show our fear. That's the most important. Buy time with asking the guy what he want from you.
Use your handbag as a weapon for self defense. For most women in our bags there is always such as cosmetic-kit small bag right? So, with this existence of the cosmetic-kit bag inside, it is a heavy object to hit bad people who act not good to us. Tap it into the are of the person's back bone.

( I think inside we can put books too )

So get used to bring bag everywhere we go with a bit content that could incriminate us the bag. Not everyone can afford to buy tear gas; even once we do have it the tear gas in our bags, we sometimes lose quickly to take out the tear gas from inside our bag.

Use belt - buckle for the second weapon. Why the women's buckle is effective as weapon? Because most women's clothes doesn't include buckle into a clasp fastener special bond that exist in our clothes right? So to open it and pull it out with a fast speed is not a problem. Plus the buckle headband mostly made from iron metal ( not Iron Maiden - okay ! Iron Maiden is my favorite band. :P ). Meaning is our buckle or belt is an effective weapon to hit the bad guy right to the eye.

So get used to wear belt or buckle or what ever in our clothes.

Use our high heels or stilleto. First pull your shoes and hit right to the eye of the wicked person. And with other high heels, kick into his pubic area. We know how sharp is our high heels is? It is the most dangerous weapon against bad person. We can do this after we night out, often after night - out there would be wicked person who disturb us for nothing.

While you drive car, always remove our tear gas from the bag and put it on the side that the nearest and easy for us to reach it with our hand. Always lock the door and never open it to anyone, it doesn't mean we are selfish once we saw someone ask for a ride or what ever, this is about our own safety. Adjust the vehicle speed, when to see the red light that requires us to stop at night and the street was quiet, always try to stay close with another car. So easy for us to ask for help.

When we can not afford to buy the tear gas, buy a small toy as a water gun. Instead of water, fill the water gun with water mixed with red chili and pepper which we have already milled. Use a super spicy Thailand red chili, shoot right to the eye of the bully. He would laugh when he saw it was a toy gun, but he forget what inside it.

Try not to go out alone. Always with someone else beside us. Especially at night when after night-out. Stay conscious, don't drink too much.

Do not bring too much money and leave at home your debit card or credit card if you have more than one. Just bring one of them and small money that enough only for us to spend. This one is the priority once might be the person want to take our wallet to get the money or squeezed your debit card or credit card. You don't want to get headache to fix with the bank to block here and there right? And also if they snatch man ask to squeeze your money into ATM, you will just lose not that much.

Don't wear too much fancy jewelry in your body part. Be simple and chic every where we go even to the night out, except into gala dinner with still never go alone.

Always put your cell phone speed dial with number 911 or any number code depends in your area. keep the phone always in hand. Put number 911 as the first priority number.

Learn a basic of martial art for women, because what women need to do is only to learn how to kick properly to the object right in the pubic area. It is the most sensitive area for most people to knock down him.

Scream and run ask for HELP.

Report it as soon as possible to police, stay focus remembering the face and describe it to the police man. And spread it the news by asking someone to draw it down the snatch guy who did that to you, in future everyone knows and stay alert for this guy.

This is the fresh air for Indonesia ( I am so happy when heard about this too ) due to Google.com is a big company in media information in the world who eager to invest by opening branch office in Indonesia. For the time when exactly the grand opening officially happened still in discussing with Indonesia government.

Google is very optimistic through the news reported in some media reports I read that Indonesia has great potential to develop Indonesia to become the great engine of economic growth in the future ahead. As we should know what Google.com notice so far, that Indonesia is the 3rd number in its record as the users for Google, Twitter and Facebook.

" Internet users in Indonesia is aggressive in developing widespread adoption of internet usage. Google is often used in Indonesia, which meaning this is a good move for Google to do business here ", says Schmidt.

In each opening of new branches in a country to Google, they have special program to be adopted in that country ( Sound that it is personal touch right. It is what needed in a business, personal touch will develop great revenue ) ; for developing SMEs. Indonesia has many SMEs that are spreads in several places, coupled with so many islands and provinces in Indonesia.

A good thing when Google opened a branch in here, due to the extensive connections owned by Google, especially in digital media internet access to up-dating the newest information for the users. More over, Google will emphasize the program for SMEs in Indonesia by giving and providing education, training and seminars. Hopefully, by providing the knowledge in media and good network formation in Google's, of course the flow of trade transaction will be easier and faster.

It is nice when I read this news. The positive is due to the opening of Google's branch in Indonesia and prioritize SMEs in future there will be employment in Indonesia in order to reduce unemployment numbers in Indonesia, it will help Indonesian government a lot. Plus more with the opening of the International airport in Lombok and 3 ports of cruise ships in Gili, Lombok and Bali which are good for Indonesian tourism program for my beloved Indonesia.

In further Indonesia will enhance the credibility and enhance Indonesian entrepreneurship spirits specially for being SMEs. And a lot more for Indonesia if Google being investor in our country. Thank you Google.

Today article was inspired by a study nowadays about our lifestyle behaviour that are less good and affecting our own health.

As many degenerative diseases was reported that lately many people came earlier; when it should be declined in organ functions which only happen commonly to old age.
The disease came because of adverse changes in the pattern of our own life. We neglect to pay attention to nutrition and minimal motions practising in our life style.

Here is the WHO news footage about the TOP 5 largest disease that haunts came at young age :

Heart Disease ; WHO put this disease as the number one cold-blooded killer in the world. The record of 2008, 25.7 million people died caused of this disease, approximately 12.8% of total deaths in the world in 2008.

Stroke ; In 2008, stroke accounted for mortality as much 10.8% of the total number of deaths in the world. Estimated 6.15 million people died from stroke suffered. Stroke is caused by constriction of blood vessels.

Chronic Lung Disease ; a total of 3.28 million people worldwide died of chronic pulmonary disease associated with this. The amount is equal to 5.8% of total deaths in the world.

Respiratory, Throat and Lung Cancers ; These 3 diseases caused 3.1% mortality in the world with casualties amounting to 1.39 million people in 2008.

Then which one of our lifestyles causes us to decline in organ function at the young age?

Knowingly or not ( and this is a valuable lesson for me personally as well as writing this article ), we accounted smoking habit of our beloved universe to make the air in surround us become unhealthy, especially because of the lack of a disproportionate number of trees to suck up the CO and CO2.

In some people affected by these diseases may be due to congenital genetics defects. However, we need to note here is that we can correct the situation if indeed we would be a genetic of the disease. And for expecting the non-genetically to always going love ourselves to always paying attention to the dynamics of our own organs body parts.

Get used to bring healthy biscuits which rich in wheat inside our bag, so each time how busy is our activities, a healthy dietery food is always there with us; and ready for the intake by the body.
Get used to eat 2 banana everyday due to the membran fibre banana has is good for digestive organ in our body.
Get used to bring drink water bottle that we can re-fill any time. Avoid cold water.
Get used to drinking water as soon as we wake up from sleep as much as 1 glass.
Avoid food that contains MSG
Get used to move our bodies. A very easy way though we do not have enough time to do jogging, gym or whatever it is; make a habit as like we put our goods which are we always use in daily such as our mobile phone ; put in a place that far from the reach of our hands. Thus, our body would move to find it and to reach it. this one is the most effective way to accustom ourselves to move specially to people who are busy working and alway stick with the desk and seat.
For smokers as myself ( I try to quit anyway :-) ), get used to smoke away from the people around specially in a room where not only us who stays there inside. Get used to feel guilty for having participated in polluting the air in our beloved universe. Start make list guilty project as like me to statr planting trees and in goal to growing it nicely for every 1 packet cigarette we've already exhausted suction.

He doesn't like other children in aged of 12 years old, most of whom are attending school in grades 6 or 7, Jake now is a student at Purdue Universty, Indianapolis, USA, majoring in astro physics.

Since childhood, Jake has already shown his geniusity. At age of 14 months, had calculated the volume of cereal boxes. At age of 3, he was able to make 5,000 of puzzles. A few years later, he was able himself to learn calculus, algebra, geometry within only 2 weeks ! Grrrhhh, even myself, I don't understand at all about calculus ! At age of 8 years old he was already finished his high scool. WOW !

What is the current astro physics that Jake learned?

Astro physics is the study of cosmoloy addresses questions which branch of astronomy that deals with physics and universe, including the physical properties of celestial objects. Shortly is about gravitationally-bound objects in the universe. ( What an headache subjects, right? ).
