False Teaching By Pastor Jack Hyles

2nd Timothy 2:15-16, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.”

I love Brother Jack Hyles (1926-2001). He is (and always will be) my hero, friend and mentor of the faith. I had the privilege of attending Hyles-Anderson College from 1985 to 1993, which institution was founded in 1973 to train young people to serve God in full-time service. By God's grace alone, I thankfully graduated in 1993 with honors.

Dr. Hyles taught us preacher boys to be loyal to truth and principles, and not to men or institutions. Over the past 24 years of my website ministry, I have spoken my mind. I do not bite my tongue, as some would say. When my heart hurts, feels grieved or someone hurts my feelings, I start writing to find solace in the matter. God has given me the gift of writing, for which I am forever grateful. Granted, I do not consider myself an eloquent writer, but I do get the point across quite effectively, which I humbly think is the most important thing.

That all being said, I was listening to a Bible study today by Pastor Hyles titled, “Justice - Part 14.” In this study (a little after 18 minutes) he makes some disturbing statements that bothered me, simply because what he says is not true. He is teaching against the sin of gossip. Dr. Hyles says that we should avoid talebearers, lest they contaminate us. I agree with that teaching, but then he makes these bizarre statements:

“The Bible, not one place in all this Bible, does it tell you to help the talebearer; not one place. Bible says help the drunkard. Bible says help the adulterer. Bible says help the thief. Bible says help the liar. Bible says help help the crooked, the dishonest. But not one place in this Bible; I dare you to show me one place in this Bible, where anybody is ever told to lift up the talebearer.”

Dear reader, that is heresy! That is false teaching! This is no better than Pastor Steven Anderson saying that homosexuals are beyond the hope of the gospel, and God hates them with a passion, so we ought not share the gospel with them. Well, thank God that someone didn't take Steven Anderson's horrible advice, or else Frank and Anita Worthen never would have been saved decades ago (who were both former homosexuals).

I know that Pastor Hyles was 100% sincere when he made these statements, but dear reader, what he is teaching is nowhere found in the inspired Holy Bible. I triple-dog dare anybody to show me where the Bible says we are supposed to help (lift up) drunkards, adulterers, thieves, liars, the crooked and dishonest, but not talebearers. You cannot. It is nonsense. It is false doctrine.

I find this in the Old Testament...

Ezekiel 34:4, “The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.”
Psalm 145:14, “The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.”

I find this in the New Testament...

Luke 14:21-23, “So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”

We read in the New Testament...

Galatians 6:1-3, “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.”

Does this not include the ungodly talebearer? I don't find any Scripture passage that says to “lift up” the drunkard or the adulterer, unless Dr. Hyles meant to restore a fallen brother or sister in Christ as Galatians 6:1 teaches. But talebearers must be restored too. No? They are sinners too. No? I find no place in the inspired Word of God where we are told to restore fellow saints who go into sin, except the talebearer.

I am not trying to be mean, unkind, or show up Dr. Hyles in any way, I am just earnestly contending for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3). If a man is right, he is right; If a man is wrong, he is wrong. What Pastor Hyles teaches in this Bible study about not lifting up the talebearer is strange doctrine.

The Bible teaches that by showing compassion toward people, in a world without love or compassion, we can make a difference for eternity. ...

Jude 1:22, “And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

Among those who are alienated from God, the godly are taught in this Bible verse that we handle them gently with compassion in hope of winning lost sinners to Christ; and that others, who being near entering into the very flames of Hell, may be warned of their present danger as we endeavour to save them with the Gospel. Yet so, that we do it in such a way as to abhor the wickedness and dishonesty, lest we be corrupted by their influence.

When Jesus sat to eat with sinners, He did so only in an attempt to preach the Gospel unto them. Jesus did not march in homosexual Pride Parades! Jesus didn't hangout playing a game of pool at the local tavern. Jesus was a godly man who abhorred and abstained from all appearance of evil, as so also should we. Jesus was a friend to sinners, but not a partaker of their evil deeds. John 7:7, “The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.”

I love and respect Brother Hyles, but I was bothered when I heard him preach this nonsense today. The talebearer is in the same sinking boat as the adulterer, drunkard, thief, liar and crooked sinner. As far as restoring one in the Lord's family who has gone into sin, the Bible makes no distinction between classes of sinners. Right doctrine matters!

Homosexuals Are Made In God's Image

Genesis 1:26-27, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

The inspired Holy Bible is our Creator's Owner's Manuel for humanity. The old adage is true: When all else fails, read the instructions.

The Bible teaches in Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” As I've mentioned in numerous recent blog articles, I am a big amateur fan of astronomy. It is my humble opinion that God made the universe and all the remarkable endless wonders therein to impress us as his creatures, who are all made in His image. James 3:9, “Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.”

Kindly said, that is why I take a strong biblical stand against Pastor Steven Anderson and his New Independent Fundamental Baptist (New IFB) cult of followers who preach hatred for LGBTQIA+ people, who were all made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). It didn't come as a surprise recently that Pastor Anderson's four oldest children have come out publicly against him and his wife with accusations of parental abuse. I say that kindly, but truthfully. Hatred just begets more hatred. One thing that I have learned during my lifetime is that people will not tolerate hatred. Dear reader, life is too short to live with a burden of hatred.

God created the universe and all therein to “wow” us, because He yearns for praise from His creatures. Just as God loves to be praised, so do we as human beings love to be praised. Proverbs 27:21, “As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise.” That is part of what it means to be made in the image of God.

And just as we get our feelings hurt and are grieved, so also is God hurt and grieved. Ephesians 4:30, “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” When Jesus healed ten lepers of the horrible disease of leprosy (incurable at the time), only one man bothered to return to thank the dear Savior. That really hurt Jesus' feelings. Luke 17:17, “And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?” I can hear some religious Pharisee at church saying, “Oh Jesus, you're so negative!” I love this inspired Scripture passage, because it teaches that it is perfectly okay and not wrong to express our hurt feelings and grief.

It is a natural part of life that people will sometimes hurt our feelings, and as human beings made in God's image we have a natural need to express those hurt feelings, as part of the healing process. Don't ever let anyone scold you, or try to make you feel bad or guilty, for expressing hurt feelings. If Jesus shared His hurt feelings, and He clearly did, then so can we. It is perfectly acceptable to assertively, in a passive voice, tell someone that your feelings have been hurt. Jesus' feelings were hurt that only one man who had been healed thanked him.

Homosexuals were all created in the image of God, their Maker. Kindly said, I do not believe that homosexuals were “born that way.” Just like all sins, homosexuality is a choice. Some people may have a disposition to steal, lie, lust or experience homosexual tendencies, but sin is always still a choice. That being said, we have all been made in the image of our Creator. No one is beyond the hope of the gospel, including homosexuals.

Just because as a Christian I do not go along with the homosexual agenda doesn't mean that I hate LGBTQIA+ people. Quite the contrary, I love them all unconditionally with God's endless love. Or better said, I am allowing God to love homosexual people through me. I do not love others; but rather, God who is love, loves them THROUGH ME. We are all selfish by birth and by nature. The Christian life is lived on purpose. That is, we must choose to walk in the Holy Spirit by faith (Galatians 5:22-25), or else by default we will walk in the flesh, in sin (Romans 7:14-25).

In Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said to love EVERYONE as our self. “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Jesus didn't exempt any classes of society. He didn't disqualify unrepentant sinners. No, Jesus commanded us to love all of our neighbours, regardless of who they may be. That doesn't mean we must approve of their sinful lifestyles or choices. It doesn't even mean that we have to like them. But we do have to love everyone unconditionally with God's love, which means to treat everyone the exact what we would like to be treated. This is THE GOLDEN RULE according to Matthew 7:12.

Jesus Christ died for all mankind (John 3:16; 1st John 2:2). Not only are homosexuals made in God's image, but God's only begotten Son Jesus died for them on Calvary's cross 2,000 years ago (Romans 5:6-9). We have a solemn obligation as God's children to be ambassadors to the heathen world (2nd Corinthians 5:20-21). It is not our right or place to decide who is reachable or unreachable with the saving power of the truth of the gospel. God gives the increase (1st Corinthians 3:7-9). Our job is to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15b). Every creature includes everybody!

Beware Of Modern Dishonest Bible Revisions

After examining the following passages of Scripture, it should become quite obvious why it is of such crucial importance that the inspired Holy Bible not be recklessly tampered with, changed, corrupted and watered down to satisfy the whims and agenda of our generation...

KING JAMES BIBLE - Deuteronomy 23:17, “There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.”

KING JAMES BIBLE - 1st Kings 14:24, “And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.”

NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION (NIV) - Deuteronomy 23:17, “No Israelite man or woman is to become a shrine prostitute.”

NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION (NIV) - 1st Kings 14:24, “There were even male shrine prostitutes in the land; the people engaged in all the detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites.”

EASY-TO-READ VERSION (ERV) - Deuteronomy 23:17, “An Israelite man or woman must never become a temple prostitute.”

EASY-TO-READ VERSION (ERV) - 1st Kings 14:24, “There were also men who served other gods by selling their bodies for sex. So the people of Judah were worse than the people who had lived in the land before them. And the Lord took the land away from those people to give it to the Israelites.”

ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION (ESV) - Deuteronomy 23:17, “None of the daughters of Israel shall be a cult prostitute, and none of the sons of Israel shall be a cult prostitute.”

Do you see how dishonest today's Bible translators and publishers are? Few people know that Marten Woudstra (1922-1991), the man who headed up the Old Testament translation committee on the NIV, was a well known homosexual. Why does Wikipedia very dishonestly hide this fact? I have hated Wikipedia for decades because of how ungodly, biased against Christians, worldly and misleading the website truly is. Moreover, all they do is beg for money. Sadly, Wikipedia is NOT a reliable source of information, which even its co-founder admits.

Since Sanger's departure from Wikipedia, he has been critical of the project, describing it in 2007 as being "broken beyond repair". He has argued that Wikipedia lacks credibility and accuracy because, in his view, it had a lack of respect for expertise. Since 2020, he has accused Wikipedia of having a left-wing ideological bias in its articles. SOURCE

I couldn't agree more.

Getting back to the focus of this article, everyone knows that the ungodly LGBTQ+ agenda is being shoved down American's throats continually by the wicked media and Hollywood. At some point in time, the wicked media overnight started promoting homosexuality as the “norm” in society. Today, we're so used to seeing homosexuals like Anderson Cooper, Robin Roberts, Eugene Daniels, Jonathan Capehart, Stephanie Gosk, Shepard Smith and , that we don't even flinch anymore. Here is a list of at least 200 known homosexual journalists.

Now, I love everybody and do not believe that we ought to bash or hate on anybody. That being said, the Holy Bible is very clear that homosexuality is a terrible sin which brings the judgment of God. If that offends you, then you have a real problem with the Lord, not me, because I didn't say it, God did. The heathen world are changing the inspired Holy Bible to fit their ungodly views, their perverted agenda, to satisfy their whims. This is evil and wrong!

Don't Believe Anything You Hear Or See Anymore

2nd Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”

Revelation 12:9, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

This blog is appropriately being uploaded on April Fool's Day. Sadly, I wish it were a prank, but it's not I assure you. There is an old adage which says: Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. Dear reader, those days are gone forever with the invention of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

A few months ago I ran across a video on YouTube that amazed me. It is a video of 95-year-old Hollywood actor Clint Eastwood sharing his Christian testimony. I was totally sold on his words. I mean, most people as they grow older reflect over their life, and many come to the Lord in their old age, returning to their childhood roots, having grown up in a Christian culture in the United States. So I thought. Here is the fraudulent disturbing video...

I Risked It All To Follow Jesus Christ | Clint Eastwood

When I heard Mr. Eastwood's sincere words, I thought in my heart that there is absolutely no way that A.I. could create this. But I was woefully deceived. I had actually converted the video into an MP3 and shared it with all my ministry web visitors. I was promoting the video, praising God that Clint Eastwood found Jesus Christ before he died, just to learn later that it was all a cleverly fabricated deception by some evil clown. 2nd Corinthians 11:13, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.”

Tragically, it was all a ruse, a grand deception by some wicked person on YouTube who thinks it's funny to misrepresent people for a cheap thrill and some shady entertainment. Clint Eastwood was raised Protestant but currently does not affiliate with any faith. He has expressed interest in Deist principles and Buddhism, emphasizing personal beliefs over traditional doctrines. There is no indication whatsoever that Clint Eastwood is a born again Christian. If you are wise in 2026, you won't believe anything that you hear or see, especially on social media. The world is full of liars, cheats and deceivers like never before!

The way I discovered that the video was false is that after a couple weeks I went back onto social media to find more information, but couldn't find anything. Things were eerily silent and that raised a gargantuan red flag. Surely if such a famous celebrity as Clint Eastwood professed a new found faith in Jesus Christ, several news outlets would have picked up the story. But there is nothing! So, I went back to the original video on YouTube and this time read everything in the comments by the video's horrible creator, and this is what I found...

The unethical liar made this fictitious story up using A.I. technology! Dear reader, we can no longer believe anything that we hear or see on social media, because we are living in bizarre times of ungodly manipulators, liars and fraudsters. It is a sin to intentionally mislead others.

I am really shocked that Google (who acquired YouTube in 2006 for $1.65 billion) allows this deceptive practice. It should be legally forbidden to attribute false actions or words spoken to anyone that is not true. I wonder how many tens of thousands of people now errantly think Clint Eastwood is a Christian, when in reality he is more Buddhist than anything. This one video has received 899,184 views since it was posted in October of 2025. This is so wrong. The video's creator is slandering Clint Eastwood's name and what he believes. In fact, his entire YouTube channel features dozens of fake videos of Clint Eastwood lying.

The Dangerous Coming A.I. Threat To Mankind

Theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking (1942-2018) warned that the development of full artificial intelligence could pose a significant threat to humanity, potentially even leading to our extinction. He expressed concerns that advanced A.I. could surpass human intelligence and evolve uncontrollably, making it difficult for humans to compete or control it. That being said, unlike Dr. Hawking who sadly died as an avowed atheist, I humbly believe that God is our Creator and won't allow mankind to destroy himself. Psalms 47:8, “God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.”

Please do not believe anything you hear or see on social media, without first triple checking to make sure it is factual information. A good way to check is to look for verification from multiple online sources. If one clown publishes some lying information, you won't find it elsewhere. Never run with any information that you found from only one source, unless you are certain it is factually true. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but no one has a right to their own facts. In life you don't get what you expect, you get what you inspect.

It is my humble but firm belief that Satan will employ A.I. technology during the future 7-year Tribulation period to deceive the masses of this world. Revelation 12:9, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” I also believe that the coming image of the Beast (Revelation 13:13-18) will utilize some type of holographic A.I. technology, which will kill anyone who refuses to worship the Antichrist.

The Bible says in Revelation 1:7 that when Jesus Christ returns “every eye shall see him.” Could this be mobile phone, television and internet technology? It certainly seems plausible. Exciting and perilous times are ahead for humanity. I was born in 1967 and cannot believe I am now seeing 2026. Wow!

I enjoy a good science fiction movie. I have always liked James Cameron's The Terminator (1984). It's a typical guy's movie. The film is based in 2029. It's hard to believe that 2029 is almost here! I see many aspects and threats of Skynet coming to fruition in real life in the decades ahead if the LORD tarries His return.

In fact, there is a war going on right now in 2026 between the A.I. company Anthropic and the U.S. Pentagon over A.I. safety limits. The Pentagon wants total unlimited control over self-governing autonomous A.I. to kill soldiers on the battlefield. Talk about Skynet! Anthropic's designers see the inherent risk of giving unrestrained, unlimited, control over A.I. to military leaders. My God, that's literally the script from Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines (2003).

Talk Is Cheap; It's Best Not To Make Promises

Proverbs 6:1-2, “My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger, Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.”

Proverbs 19:22, “The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.”

Ecclesiastes 5:4-5, “When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.”

Dear reader, I NEVER make any promises to anyone. I encourage you to do the same. If you do make a promise, you had better make darn sure that you know what you are committing yourself to, because talk is cheap and promises are easily broken. The Bible says that a poor man is better than a liar.

We are all guilty of being careless with our words sometimes. That is because we are all sinners by nature. I sure am guilty. The inspired Holy Bible warns in James 3:5-7, “Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.” The reason why the tongue is so evil is obvious, because the human heart is very evil. Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” And our mouth speaks out of what is in our heart. Matthew 12:34, “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”

When I voluntarily served on the 76-3, Division 4, Bus Ministry in Chicago while attending Hyles-Anderson College (1985-1993), one Saturday afternoon my soulwinning partner told one of our bus kids that we'd come back in a couple hours to take him to George's restaurant for a cheeseburger. The boy was excited. But I said, “No promises!” I didn't want to get the boy's hopes up in case something happened, as it SO OFTEN DOES!

A few seconds later the boy's father graciously thanked me. He said: “Brother Dave, thank you for saying, 'No promises!'” He added: “There have been other workers from the church who came by and made promises to my child, but then they never came back. I respect you for saying that to my child. Thank you!” I have never forgotten what that concerned father said to me in Chicago, and from that day until today I have prefaced everything I have ever agree to do for someone with the phrase, “No promises!” Keeping our word is important!

Too many unforeseen situations can arise without warning, and they very often do arise. I don't want to be called a “liar.” But moreover, I don't want to be a liar! I have to give account to God in Heaven someday for every word that comes out of my mouth, and so do you dear friend (Matthew 12:36). A man is only as good as his word. That is why we read in Psalms 138:2, “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” God is only as reliable and trustworthy as His Word. So, the LORD has therefore elevated the inspired Holy Bible even above the precious name of Jesus, the name which is above every other name (Philippians 2:9-10). This is an important truth to understand dear reader.

Having said that, it should become quite obvious why it is of such crucial importance that the inspired Holy Bible not be recklessly tampered with, changed, corrupted and watered down to satisfy the whims and agenda of our generation.

Pastor Steven Anderson Is Wrong About Gospel Tracts

Psalms 126:6, “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”

For many years, Pastor Steven Anderson has taught from his pulpit that Gospel tracts don't work, so Faithful Word Baptist Church doesn't bother to use them. Their church has been very successful through hard work soulwinning to build a strong church without Gospel tracts. Bravo!

That being said, Gospel tracts DO work. I have met numerous Christians in my lifetime, including my soulwinning Bible teacher at Hyles-Anderson College, Brother George Godfrey, who was saved when a Christian lady in a subway handed him a Gospel tract to read. Why limit our outreach for Christ? Why ignore a tool that plants seeds of the Gospel?

Psalms 126:6, “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Pastor Jack Hyles said this Bible verse could be translated, “He that goeth forth with a leaky seed basket,” shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. I like that. That's what Gospel tracts do, leaving the seed of the Word of God everywhere we go, the seed by which we are born again, that is, the Gospel. Why not use every tool available? I agree that personal person-to-person confrontational soulwinning is most effective, but why not also utilize other soulwinning tools that are helpful?

Gospel Tracts Are Effective

Now, I have heard Pastor Steven Anderson claim that less than 1% of people are saved by Gospel tracts. I truly have no idea what the true statistic is, but I doubt if it's that low. There is no reliable worldwide statistic for how many people have been "saved" or "born again" specifically from reading a Gospel tract. No church, ministry, or organization can accurately measure that because:

Many people read a tract privately and never tell anyone.
A tract may be only one influence among many (a sermon, a friend, a Bible reading).
Different Christian groups define "saved" differently.
Most tract-based conversions are self-reported rather than independently verified.

What we do have are countless testimonies. Organizations that distribute tracts regularly publish accounts from people who say they came to faith after reading one. For example, Evangelism ministries and tract distributors have collected testimonies from former Hindus, prisoners, pastors, and others who credit a Gospel tract as a key factor in their conversion.

Historically, several well-known Christians are reported to have been influenced by Gospel literature. The missionary Hudson Taylor (1832-1905) is often cited as having come to faith after reading a tract, and many modern Christians give similar testimonies.

Some ministries have tried to measure results. Modern digital tract ministries can count things like downloads, reads and responses, but even they acknowledge that a click or response is not the same thing as a verified salvation conversion.

From a practical standpoint, most evangelistic ministries view tracts less as a way to produce immediate conversions and more as a way to "plant seeds" that God may use later. Many testimonies describe a tract being read months or years before the person eventually trusted Christ. God works in mysterious ways behind the scenes!

Gospel tracts have several strengths:

They can reach people you may never have a chance to speak with.
A person can read them privately without feeling pressured.
The message remains after the conversation ends.
They can cross barriers of shyness, distance, and time.

On the other hand, personal witnessing has strengths that a tract cannot match:

You can answer questions and objections.
People can see your sincerity and character.
You can tailor the presentation to the individual.
A relationship often gives the message more credibility.

Many pastors and evangelists; therefore, view Gospel tracts and personal witnessing as complementary rather than competing methods. A tract can start a conversation, reinforce a conversation, or continue speaking after a conversation has ended. I definitely think we should use Gospel tracts, and not exclude them from our soulwinning efforts.

1st Corinthians 3:6, "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”

Even if a tract does not produce an immediate response, it may plant a seed that someone else later waters. Christians often underestimate how many tracts are actually read. Even tracts that are discarded may be picked up by someone else. There are numerous testimonies of people finding a Gospel tract on a bus seat, in a waiting room, in a trash bin, or tucked inside a book and reading it out of curiosity. Why limit our soulwinning efforts?

So, while there is no hard statistic proving how many people have been born again through Gospel tracts, there is enough historical evidence and testimony that most evangelical tract ministries regard them as a worthwhile tool—especially when combined with personal witnessing and personal follow-up. I say we should use Gospel tracts in any ministry.

We Are Saved By Christ's Obedience, Not Our Effort

Romans 5:19, “For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

The inspired King James Bible teaches that when Adam sinned, he opened the floodgate of sin and death upon the world. Romans 5:12, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” This is why we live in a fallen world. This is why a drunk driver may swerve into your driver's lane and take your legs off in a crash. This is why things dry rot, wear out and break. This is why there is disease, pain and sickness, and then we grow old and die.

But thanks be to God the Father for sending His only begotten Son Jesus into the world to redeem humanity. Whereas mankind had utterly failed again and again to perfectly obey the law, Jesus did fulfill it perfectly. Therefore, Jesus Christ has become the end of the law to all who believe on His name. Romans 10:3-4, “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” That it, if you will put all of your trust (reliance, faith) in Jesus as your personal Savior, God will count your faith for righteousness.

Romans 4:4-5, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” I am surprised how many unlearned preachers foolishly teach that people were saved by works under the Mosaic law. Peter S. Ruckman (1921-2016) was the biggest purveyor of this terrible heresy. Consequently, Ruckmanites today like Robert Breaker, Gene Kim and William P. Grady still promote this unbiblical rubbish that people were saved by works in the Old Testament. Dear reader, don't you believe it!

Romans 4:4 plainly teaches that if salvation had ever been works, then God owed those sinners salvation, and it wasn't by grace. I hope you are not that gullible to believe them.

It was Christ's perfect obedience to God's Old Testament law that qualified Him to be “the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29b). To get saved, you simply need to believe that Jesus did it all for you. Simply by faith (taking God at His written Word) accept Christ's sacrificial death on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, but then resurrected three days later. The moment that you make this decision, God reads your mind and declarers you His redeemed child. You have been born again by the Holy Spirit of God in response to your faith in the Word of God (i.e., the Gospel).

God's Amazing Constellations

Psalm 147:4, “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.”

I love astronomy. It's one of my hobbies. God's creative handiwork is more than amazing!

The Perseids meteor shower peaks in mid-August, with the peak night on 12–13 August and activity running about July 17th to August 24th. During the peak, the rate can reach up to around 150 meteors per hour (depending on location and conditions). I laid outside at 9 pm on August 12th for about 30 minutes, and then again after midnight around 1:30 am on August 13th for another half hour, watching for meteors. I saw a few slow moving shooting stars.

Here's a quick astronomy lesson:

Asteroids are rocks moving through space.
Meteors are space rocks that have entered into earth's atmosphere.
Meteorites are space rocks that survived entry and have hit the earth.

When I lived on Guam, where there is little light from the island to interfere with the view, I often saw shooting stars (meteors) in the night sky. Most move super fast across the sky.

The other evening during the meteor shower, I focused on the constellation Pegasus, simply because it was right in front of me as I laid in my lawn chair. I use a helpful program called SkyView, which tells me the distance of each individual star in light-years. I purchased the full-functioning program, which costs less than a one time $5 fee.

Pegasus is a constellation in the northern sky, named after the winged horse from Greek mythology. It is one of the 88 officially recognized constellations and is best known for the Great Square of Pegasus, which is formed by four bright stars. The constellation was upside down like this as I observed it. ...

The star Enif in the horse's mouth of the Pegasus constellation is 690 light-years from earth, which is a mind boggling 4,068,396,226,415,094 miles away! That's four quadrillion miles from earth! And I was laying in my backyard in my lawn chair looking at it. Wow!

The light that I was seeing started its long journey 690 years ago in 1336 AD. Light travels at 670 million mph. In 1336 AD, significant events happened, included the mass suicide of 4,000 defenders in Pilėnai, Lithuania to avoid capture by the Teutonic Knights, and the founding of the Vijayanagara Empire in South India by brothers Harihara and Bukka Raya. Additionally, the Italian poet Petrarch claimed to be the first to ascend Mount Ventoux. The light emitted from the star Enif took 690 years travelling at 670 million mph to reach my eyes this week. Wow!

I used to ignorantly think that all of the stars in a particular constellation were all close neighbours. Boy was I way wrong! Take for example the star 1 Peg in Pegasus, which is directly above Enif and slightly to the right, which is located 156 light-years from earth, 917,065,558,216,643 Miles. That's nearly one quadrillion miles! By the way, I use this handy-dandy web page to convert light-years to miles.

God is so astounding! And then I saw star Peg 9 just above Enif, which is 927 light-years from earth, or 5,449,485,720,941,204 Miles. Good night, that's over 5 quadrillion miles away. And I was looking at it in my backyard from Pensacola. As you can clearly see, the stars which comprise the constellations are often quadrillions of years apart in distance from each other. Remember, a “light-year” is a measurement of distance, not time. It is the distance that light travels in one year.

And just to amaze you further dear reader, the next time that you gaze up into the evening sky, remember that the closest star to the earth (after our own sun which is 93 million miles away), is a shocking 4.24 light-years away, or 25 trillion miles from earth! That star is Alpha Centauri. That's right, the nearest star in the night sky is at least 25,000,000,000,000 miles away. Most of the stars we see in the night sky are quadrillions of miles away.

And another interesting fact to remember is that every star you can see with the naked human eye is contained within our own Milky Way Galaxy. With the naked eye humans cannot see stars in other galaxies. And there are at least TWO TRILLION galaxies in the known universe!

The Andromeda Galaxy can be seen with the unaided eye on clear, dark nights as a faint, fuzzy smudge between the constellations Andromeda and Cassiopeia. It is the most distant object visible to the naked eye, located about 2.5 million light-years away. Are you ready for this? The Andromeda Galaxy is a shocking 14.7 quintillion miles away from earth! And it is still possible to see it at the right time in the right place.

NASA's astronomers now tell us there are at least 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the known universe. That's one septillion stars!!! I need to go take a long walk. Wowza!

Did you know that it would take someone 31,710 years just to count to one trillion? It's true. If you counted one number every second without stopping, it would take you 31,710 years to count to one trillion. No human has ever done it, and no human ever will. But the inspired Holy Bible says God knows the exact number of stars, and He calls each star by their unique individual name. Our faithful, good, merciful and omnipotent Creator is truly more than amazing! Psalm 145:3, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.”

The Incredible Human Body Disproves Evolution

I was thinking today about how amazing the human body is, and that it proves the existence of a divine Creator:

I thought about how God put hair in our nose to block bugs and debris from going up our nostrils. Evolution wouldn't do that!
I thought about how God designed the human ears to collect sound. Evolution wouldn't do that!
I thought about how God put that little cleft above the buttocks that prevents running sweat. Evolution wouldn't do that!
I thought about our fingerprints for enhanced grip and dexterity, particularly for climbing and manipulating objects. Evolution wouldn't do that!
I thought about our eye's built in windshield wiper blades called eyelids. Evolution wouldn't do that!
I thought about the cleverly designed male external urethral orifice where urine comes out. If this feature didn't exist urine would spray all over the place instead of stream. Evolution wouldn't do that
I thought about the human brain, which is a supercomputer. Evolution wouldn't do that!
I thought about the enjoyment of cracking one's knuckles, which is caused by gas bubbles in the synovial fluid collapsing or bursting when the joint is stretched. Evolution wouldn't do that!
I thought about hiccups, which is the body's natural defense to slow us down from eating too fast and choking. It's the body's way of saying, "Whoa! Slow down fella!" Evolution wouldn't do that!
I thought about the body's ability to cry tears, which feature nature would have no purpose for creating. Evolution wouldn't do that!

I am confident that if we put our minds together that we could come up with several dozen more amazing features of the human body.

The human body has a marvellous design to it that a natural evolutionary process simply could not (and would not) have accomplished. The universe around us has a grand intelligent design to it, which shouts and testifies to the existence of a brilliant, omniscient and omnipotent divine Creator. God is good.

No One Can Escape God's Judgment Or Fool Him

Proverbs 24:11-12, “If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?”

Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1961) has this to comment about Proverbs 24:11-12...

These verses seem to refer to a mode of execution once prevalent in Syria and Palestine. Muenscher says, “When a criminal was anciently led to execution, a crier went before, who proclaimed the crime of which he had been convicted, and called upon any one who could say anything in behalf of the condemned culprit, to come forward; in which case, he was led back to the tribunal and the cause was re-heard.” To selfishly withhold information that could save the condemned man's life, would be to stand with Cain and ask, “Am I my brother's keeper?” (Genesis 4:9) But the great Judge of all who ponders the heart would be witness against the one who acted so perfidiously and would assuredly render judgment. SOURCE

“Perfidiously” means to act in a treacherous or disloyal manner, often involving deceit or betrayal. It is derived from the word “perfidious,” which implies a lack of faithfulness or reliability. To fail to speak up when you posses information that could exonerate an accused person is a grave sin in God's sight. That is what the Bible means in Proverbs 24:11-12.

Hebrews 4:13, “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” We all have an appointment with death, and then the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Nothing can be hid from God's eyes. Luke 8:17, “For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.” Whether it be the sordid sins that someone commits in privacy, or laboring diligently on social media for Jesus' and the Gospel's sake at 3 am in the morning, God sees it all. Nothing can be hidden from God!

Did you know that there are at least 28 serial killers who've never been caught? Did you know there have been over 352,390 unsolved homicides in the United States from 1965 to 2024, according to FBI data? Additionally, only about half of the murders that occur each year are solved. Thankfully, God knows exactly who committed each murder, where the bodies are buried, and He will execute justice and vengeance (Luke 8:17; Romans 12:19-21; Ecclesiastes 12:14; Hebrews 4:13, 10:31).

Save The Birds, Kill The Children

I couldn't help but cringe as a God-fearing Christian, and a father of four children myself, to consider the millions of babies that Americans continue to abort every year.

Guttmacher Releases Full-Year 2025 Abortion Incidence and Travel Data

Today the Guttmacher Institute released new data from the Monthly Abortion Provision Study, showing that there were an estimated 1,126,000 clinician-provided abortions in the United States in 2025. For the first time, these estimates include telehealth provision to residents of states with total bans, as well as updates to prior year estimates to include these states. SOURCE

Something is very wrong morally, ethically and spiritually with a broken society that mourns the death of its birds, while totally ignoring the murder of its human children. Last year alone, there were 1,126,000 babies murdered in their mother's womb at an abortuary. For the longest time Americans have had their priorities wrong. Exodus 20:13, “Thou shalt not kill.”

In the Old Testament time of the judges in Israel, there were no magistrates to uphold law and order, so people did whatever they thought was right to do in their own eyes. There was no king in the land. Judges 17:6, “In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” They wanted to do the right thing, but they wanted to decide what was right. It was a dire time for the children of Israel.

Obviously, the people didn't always do what was right, even though they thought they were. That is what the disturbing book of Judges is all about, full of atrocities. But we do have a U.S. President, leaders and magistrates today. So what's our excuse?

Abortion is premeditated, first-degree, cold-blooded murder!

There Is Forgiveness In Christ

That being said, if you have had an abortion I didn't write this blog to berate you, God forbid. My ministry is not here to bash sinners; but rather, hopefully to inspire others to think differently God (repent) to be saved by faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:26); and then a second decision to serve the LORD as His child (Romans 12:1). Lest we pervert the Gospel, we must always keep salvation completely separate from service.

It was Jesus Himself who said in John 3:17, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” I think we sometimes forget the purpose of Christ's mission to earth, and what the faithful Lord expects from us as redeemed saints. Jesus came to save sinners! We're not here to condemn sinners, but to lead them to the Savior.

I love everyone unconditionally with Christ's love, whoever you may be. In the next verse we see that Jesus and God the Father love us. 2nd Thessalonians 2:16, “Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace.” By the way, this Bible verse refutes the heresy of modalism (the false teaching that God goes into different “modes,” and that Jesus the Son does not have a separate body from the Father). This verse plainly teaches that God the Son, and God the Father, are two different persons with their own bodies.

So, if you have had an abortion I do not condemn you friend. God loves you and so do I. I wrote this article because we have a serious problem in our country with wrong priorities. Genesis 6:5, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” I cannot even grasp a society so wicked that over one million parents every year kill their own biological child, legally. Oh, America, repent!

I love animals and birds. I have a bird feeder about 12 feet high on a big thick pole in my yard. The neighborhood birds love me. I have several beautiful red cardinals that drop in for frequent meals. I saw three squirrels enjoying lunch yesterday at the feeder, I put round seed and fruit cakes in the side compartments on the feeder. Come one, come all!

Point being, I love animals. The bald eagle population is estimated to be 316,700 individual bald eagles, including about 71,400 nesting pairs in the lower 48 states as of 2020. This marks a significant recovery from a low of only 417 nesting pairs in 1963. Many people feel sad that Jackie the bald-headed eagle died, our nation's chosen symbol of American independence and patriotism, but all the eagles on the planet aren't equal in value to just one human being!

The slogan “Save the Whales!” became popular in the 1970s, particularly after the launch of the campaign in 1971, which aimed to protect whale populations and end commercial whaling practices. The movement gained significant traction and public support throughout that decade. Dear reader, what is wrong with us? Save the whales? Save the eagles? How about, Save the children!

Seeing Him Who Is Invisible

Hebrews 11:24-29, “By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.”

The inspired Holy Bible remarkably has much to say about God being invisible, which encourages me. It encourages me because I have oftentimes felt alone, like God was nowhere to be found. I have received thousands of emails from fellow believers over the years, who told me that God doesn't answer their prayers. They say God ignores them. I have learned that this is a very normal feeling. God is invisible!

Romans 1:20, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.”
1st Peter 1:7-8, “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.”

Dear reader, God has not abandoned us. Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” The good Lord intentionally stepped into the background to test out faith.

We read the parable of The Unjust Judge in Luke 18:1-8. The judge was cold-hearted and didn't want to avenge the widow. But she persistently kept coming to the judge until he couldn't take it anymore, so he gave her justice just to get rid of her. The key verse is Luke 18:1, “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” Jesus tells us why He is telling this parable, so that we won't quit praying. Just as the judge ignored the widow, even so will it seem like God is ignoring us when we pray. The Lord Himself encourages us to be persistent in importunity to keep praying to our heavenly Father.

All of these Scripture passages plainly teach us that God is invisible, so it is normal to feel like God is ignoring us, not listening, and perhaps even at times that He doesn't exist. But we can never trust our human feelings. Romans 1:20 plainly says, Romans 1:20a, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made...” Everyone knows that God exists. Atheists spend their lives hating a God that they deny exists. Biblically, according to the Romans 1:20-21, there is no such thing as a true atheist.

In the Old Testament book of Esther we see the omnipotent hand of God at work, but you won't find any mention of “God” or “Lord” in the entire book. This teaches us the truth that when you cannot see the hand of God, trust the great heart of God.

God is invisible to mankind, and He fully intended for it to be that way. So the next time you feel discouraged when God doesn't seem to care, or that He isn't listening, just remember these helpful passages of Scripture which remind us that God deliberately chose to step into the background. God does care (1st Peter 5:7). God is listening (Psalm 139:1-4). God is faithful (1st Corinthians 1:9). Moses fled Egypt in faith, seeing God who is invisible.

Exploring Prayer With Jack Hyles

The following in chapter 22 from Pastor Jack Hyles helpful 1982 book titled: “Exploring Prayer With Jack Hyles.”

Notice the words, "Rejoice evermore," of I Thessalonians 5:16 are yoked with the words, "Pray without ceasing." God is saying, the more praying, the more rejoicing! The less praying, the less rejoicing! Then note the statement in the next verse, "In every thing gives thanks." Ah, how sweet! When joy and prayer are married, their firstborn child is gratitude.

Now what does it mean, "Pray without ceasing"? Does it mean we are to be speaking words constantly? Of course not! Does it mean that the Christian should stay on his knees every moment of every day? This is impossible. Does it mean that there is a certain place where we must go and stay in order to pray? No, it does not. There are several things meant by our Lord when He says we are to pray without ceasing.

1. There is no time when the Christian should not pray. There is not one unholy second in a minute. There is no one unholy minute of the day. There is not one unholy day of the week. There is not one unholy week of the year. There is not one unholy year of our lives. From January 1 through December 31, all days are red-letter days. Every day is a sabbath day and every moment is a sacred moment. There is not time when a Christian should not pray.

How wonderful are the early morning hours when the Christian steals away alone with his God and prays with a choir of birds, the humming of the cricket, the amen of a rooster, a chandelier made of the rising sun, a congregation of trees, a chancel made of a cluster of daffodils! Ah, how wonderful are the early morning hours for prayer! When a Christian neglects the early morning prayer watch, he is robbing himself not only of a mighty power but of blessed fellowship.

How sacred are the closing hours of the day when God's rheostat has slowly dimmed the chandelier, and the peaceful tranquility of the sunset and the evening darkness make God seem even nearer and dearer!

How powerful then is the midnight hour as the servant of God wrestles, pleading with God for power, for provision, for blessing!

How strengthening then is the noontime when the Christian may attach his cable to God's booster for help during the day's toil!

2. There is no place where the Christian should not pray. Every place is holy ground. Every bush is a burning bush. Every hill is an alter. Every valley is a sanctuary. You can come to the mercyseat from where you are. As someone has said, "It is only a knee away."

Kings hold their levees on appointed days. The Kings of kings holds a constant levee. Those under King Ahasuerus were slain who approached him when he was not holding out his scepter. The King of kings is always holding out His scepter. The dead of night is not too late; the morning's break is not too early; at eventide He is not too weary. The kitchen sink can be an alter, the work bench can be a chancel, the school room can be a sanctuary, the sofa can be a mourner's bench, even the rest room can be a prayer closet!

3. The Christian should be in conversation with God all the time. There are several ways this can be done. For example, I have on my desk in my office a piece of wood about three feet long on which are burned the words, "Pray for power." In every Bible that I own I have the words, "Pray for power." On my office door are the words, "pray for power." Inside my briefcase are the words, "Pray for power." At the mirror where I shave at home are the words, "pray for power." The mirror in my washroom at church has written on it the words, "pray for power." Hundreds of times a day I pray for the power of God. This perhaps is at least a part of what God meant when He admonished us to pray without ceasing.

The Christian should be constantly sending out little darts of prayer. When the cares of this life, the daily work and toil of life make us unable to load the furnace, we can send little sparks rising in the form of words, thoughts and even looks to our Heavenly father.

For years I spent many hours a month with Dr. John R. Rice. For over 22 years I shared pulpits and platforms across America with him. Over 2200 times he and I have preached on the same program. I have stayed with him in motel rooms, eaten with him in restaurants, prayed with him in classrooms. Many times when nothing was being said I would see his lips moving. I would hear a mumble just above a whisper. What was he doing? He was praying! He was sending up brief messages. I can remember that when we would be driving to the service at night I would overhear him saying just above a whisper, "Lord, help me. Lord, give me power. Lord, bless the service, help us."

The Christian's magnetized needle should always be pointing north toward his God. Years ago the marvelous Christian and great preacher Evangelist Lester Roloff preacher for me on a Wednesday night. The next night he was to preach in Canton, Ohio, and I was to preach in Akron, Ohio. He suggested that I fly with him in his private plane to the Akron-Canton airport. I agree to do so. What a wonderful time of fellowship we had until suddenly Brother Roloff looked at me and through pale lips said, "Brother Jack, we are lost! The compass is broken! We are over Lake Erie and we don't have much gasoline left! Unless this compass is repaired quickly, we may have to crash land in the lake! Both of us were, to say the least, apprehensive. I nervously reached up on the dash of the airplane and took the can of pecans down and ate a few. When I removed the pecan can, the compass went back to perfect operation. One little can of pecans at the wrong place had gotten us off course. When the child of God has something between him and his God and between him and his prayer life, he will soon be off course.

I am alone very much. Fifty weeks a year, I fly on Monday from O'Hare Field in Chicago to some place in America where I preach on Monday night and Tuesday. I fly over 200,000 miles a year. I spend hundreds of hours a year in motel rooms. I try to keep in constant contact with Heaven. I often sing those beautiful words, "Oh, what peace we often forfeit; oh, what needless pain we bear; all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer." There is no burden so great that God doesn't want to help us bear it. There is no burden so small but that God wants to help us solve it. There is no problem so great but that God wants to help us solve it. There is no problems so small that does not attract the attention of our God, and He wants to help us find a solution. There is no question so hard but that God can answer it. There is no question so simple but that God wants to help us find the answer. God is interested in your shopping; talk to Him about it. God is interested in your work; talk to Him about it. God is interested in your school; talk to Him about it. God is interested in your housekeeping; talk to Him about it. There is no area of life that should be kept from God, and we should be in constant touch with Heaven presenting our petitions and finding grace to help in time of need.

One Sunday night I was leaving my study to walk down the alley behind the church on my way to the evening service. As I left the office, I had a funny taste in my mouth. I said, "Dear Lord, some peppermint sure would taste good right now." As I was walking through the door, one of our fine deacons walked up, reached in his pocket and took out a little piece of peppermint candy and said, "Pastor, would you like to have a piece of candy before you preach?" My heart leaped with joy. I said, "Thank You, Lord." Sometimes the sweetest answers to prayer are the smallest ones when God is mindful of our little needs in the commonplace events of our life.

One day I didn't have time to go out for lunch, but I was so hungry! I said, "Lord, I sure would like something to eat." Within a few seconds I heard someone knocking at the door of my study. I went to the door. Someone had left a cheese quarter-pounder and some French fries outside my door. I smiled and said, "Thank You, Lord," and enjoyed my lunch.

God wants us to abide in Him. He wants us to abide in prayer. He wants us to walk in prayer. Mrs. Billy Sunday ("Ma" Sunday) was a dear friend of mine during her latter years. Though I never met her husband, I got to know Ma very well. On several occasions she would tell me some things about her husband. One day she talked to me about his prayer life. She told me how she and her husband would be walking down the street, and Billy Sunday would talk to her awhile and then to God awhile, to her awhile and then to God awhile. She said it was often difficult for her to know to which one he was talking. He had learned to pray without ceasing!

The Holy Spirit Is The Believer's “Paraclete” (Greek)

John 14:25-26, “These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

1st John 2:1-2, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

Interestingly, both words: “Comforter” and “Advocate,” are translated from the SAME Greek word Paraclete. Baptist Pastor F.B. Meyer (1847-1929) in England wrote these helpful words to explain the Greek word Paraclete. This is good stuff! ...

There is no adequate translation for the word Paraclete. It may be rendered “interpreter,”“comforter,”“advocate,”but no one word suffices. The Greek means “one whom you call to your side in the battle or law-court.” His advent depends upon the praying Christ (I will pray the Father), and upon the praying Church (ye shall ask). The Holy Spirit must be a person, or He could not be compared as “another” to Christ. It is characteristic of this dispensation that He shall be in us, and His indwelling brings with it that of the Father and the Son.

“We will… make our abode.” That word abode is the same Greek word as is rendered mansions in the former part of this chapter. God prepares a mansion for those who believe in Christ, and asks in return that we shall prepare our hearts as guest chambers for Him to dwell in. As He enters the loving, cleansed, and believing heart, we hear Him say: “This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it,” Psalms 132:14. And what a word is that, my Father will love him. That He should love the world is wonderful, but that He should love us would be incredible, were He not infinite, and did He not see us in Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Counterfeit Plan Of Salvation Of 'UNSHACKLED!'

Acts 16:28-31, “But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

Over the years, I have written numerous ministry articles refuting Pacific Garden Mission's (PGM) false doctrine. We hear a lot about “fake news” nowadays. Well, there are many “fake gospels” as well. Since 1950, PGM has broadcast their popular radio program in Chicago called 'UNSHACKLED!' Their latest episode #3942 is titled: “James Blair.”

Here is an excerpt from the heretical presentation, and then afterwards I will break it down to explain what is unbiblical about much of it...

Minister speaking to James: God wants to save you from going to a burning Hell that lasts forever. He did it because He wants you to be with him in Heaven forever. Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27 says, “It is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment.” If you died tonight, do you know where your soul would go? If not, you need to repent of your sins, and by faith, invite Jesus into your heart to become your savior and the Lord of your life. Say “yes” to Jesus and you can know where you will spend eternity.

PGM Narrator: Friend, Christ died for your sins, for what the law could not do in that it was weak from the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in flesh. This is the Good News! Redemption not achieved, but received; for by grace are defeated from faith, it is the gift of God not of works, not of works; not of striving, lest any man should boast; therefore, the call is clear, repent and believe. Turn from sin, and place your faith in Him who has already finished the work.

Daughter: Because of the commitments that came with salvation, I had planned to wait till I was 40 to get saved. But the Lord drew me that night and I went to the altar, where I asked God to save me. I confessed every sin I could think of. We were very late getting home.

Mother: You were saved tonight, weren't you?

Daughter: Yes, how did you know?

Mother: I could tell by looking at you.
Daughter: That's why we're late, I had a lot of sin to confess. And I sure feel clean.
Father: I couldn't figure out why a 13-year-old had so many sins to confess.
Daughter: I wanted to be sure I was really saved Dad.
Mother: Now grow up to be a Sunday School teacher or something.

All of the following are unbiblical rubbish, damnable heresy:

You need to repent of your sins - Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible teaches that you must repent “of your sins” to get to Heaven.
Invite Jesus into your heart - Not one verse in the inspired Holy Bible Bible teaches that you must invite Jesus into your heart to get to Heaven.
Invite Jesus to become the Lord of your life - Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible teaches that you must invite Jesus to become “Lord” of your life to get to Heaven. 1st Timothy 4:10b says that Jesus is “the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.”
Turn from sin - Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible teaches that you must turn from your sin to get to Heaven. No one has ever turned from sinning. All you can do is try to sin less and live above reproach, but that is reformation not repentance.
The commitments that came with salvation - Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible teaches that you must fulfil commitments when you get saved. Eternal life is a free gift with obligations. Certainly there are things God expects of every believer, but if you refuse to do them you are still saved.
I confessed every sin I could think of - Not one verse in the inspired Holy Bible teaches that you must confess “every sin” to get to Heaven. You simply need to admit you are a guilty sinner; you need to know what you're being saved from, which is the condemnation of God's Law (Romans 3:19-20).
I could tell by looking at you - You cannot determine if someone is saved or lost merely by looking at them. By all outward indications the hellbound false prophets in Matthew 7:21-23 were saved. Even Christ's own apostles couldn't see that Judas Iscariot had a devil in him (John 6:70).
I had a lot of sin to confess - Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible teaches that you are obligated to itemize and confess all your sins to God in order to get to Heaven. Mark 1:5b says the people came to John the Baptist “confessing their sins.” The Bible doesn't say they made a long list of every sin; they simply acknowledged their sinnership (1st John 1:8-10). Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) wisely said: A good rule to follow when interpreting the Bible is to never use an obscure passage to contradict a clear one. When 3,000 people got saved on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:41), Cornelius and his companions (Acts 10:43-44), and the Roman jailer (Acts 16:30-31), no mention is made that any of them confessed their sins. They simply knew that they were sinners.
I wanted to be sure I was really saved - The only assurance that you are saved is your faith in the Gospel, not because you feel convicted to confess all your sins to God. You just need to admit you are a needy sinner.

Dear reader, I hope you can clearly see the spiritual dangers of UNSHACKLED! They have wickedly embellished God's simple plan of salvation, needlessly placing heavy emphasis upon the lost sinner to reform as a requirement to get to Heaven. This is another gospel. This is a works based counterfeit plan of salvation, not the free grace of God which is by faith alone without works (Romans 4:4-5).

The Apostle Peter preached the Gospel on the Day of Pentecost (named in lieu of Jesus' physical resurrection 50 days earlier). As Peter preached to several thousand Jews, we read in Acts 2:41 that 3,000 of them “gladly received” the Gospel truth by faith and were saved. There is no mention of anyone confessing all of their sins, inviting Jesus to become “Lord” of their life, or turning away from their sinful behavior or to be saved. Pacific Garden Mission are pulling on the same rope as the Devil, perverting the Gospel of free grace, which cannot produce the new birth. The preceding episode #3942 makes me want to vomit! This is not the simplicity that is in Christ.

Pastor Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951) gets the Gospel 100% correct...

“The Gospel is not a call to repentance, or to amendment of our ways, to make restitution for past sins, or to promise to do better in the future. These things are proper in their place, but they do not constitute the Gospel; for the Gospel is not good advice to be obeyed, it is good news to be believed. Do not make the mistake then of thinking that the Gospel is a call to duty or a call to reformation, a call to better your condition, to behave yourself in a more perfect way than you have been doing in the past …Nor is the Gospel a demand that you give up the world, that you give up your sins, that you break off bad habits, and try to cultivate good ones. You may do all these things, and yet never believe the Gospel and consequently never be saved at all.”

Read what Pastor Ironside rightly said in his Gospel tract, 'ANOTHER GOSPEL?' ...

“When anyone comes promising salvation to those ‘who make full surrender' of all that they have to God, and who 'pay the price of full salvation' he is preaching another gospel, for the price was paid on Calvary's cross and the work that saves is finished. It was Christ Jesus who made the full surrender when He yielded His life on Calvary that saves us, not our surrender in any way to Him.”

UNSHACKLED! has toxic theology! Galatians 1:6-7, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.” Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago has been taken over by ungodly neo-evangelicals, who erroneously think Bible “repentance” means to make an effort to reform your life of sin.

In Matthew 27:3 we read that Judas Iscariot “repented himself,” but we know that Judas was still lost and went to Hell without Christ. So sad. Judas turned from his sins. He was sorry for betraying an innocent man. He tried to make amends by returning the 30 pieces of silver to the Pharisees. Unfortunately for Judas, he never believed that Jesus was who He claimed to be—the Christ, the only begotten Son of God. Salvation is strictly a matter of receiving by faith (taking God at His written Word) what Christ has done through Calvary's cross as full payment for our sins, and not of what we must do for Him to be saved. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

Judas had a relationship with Jesus Christ, but he still went to Hell forever. A “relationship” is not the gospel. I get tired of hearing radio preachers telling people to start “a relationship with Jesus.” That is not God's plan of salvation. As I just mentioned, we read in Matthew 27:3 that Judas “repented himself.” The Greek word for “repented” here is metamellomai and means “to care afterwards, that is, regret.” Judas was sorry that he got caught betraying the Lord. Judas felt embarrassed and lonely, having betrayed his best friend and Lord (Master). Unfortunately, Judas did not trust Jesus as his personal Savior. Judas felt sorry for what he had done. However, feeling sorry for sin is not repentance. The Bible says that Judas repented, but then he went and commit suicide. Judas had NO FAITH in Christ.

The following meme is a classic. It perfectly illustrates the insanity of PGM's counterfeit gospel message. ...

First they tell you on 'UNSHACKLED!' that salvation is received, not achieved. They call it a free gift by God's grace; but then they do a Bait & Switch con job on you, emphasizing YOUR responsibility to repent and turn from your sinful ways. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU. All I hear in UNSHACKLED's perverted gospel is the things that YOU must do to be saved.

YOU must repent of your sins to turn from them.
YOU must invite Jesus to become LORD of your life.
YOU must invite Jesus to come into your life.
YOU must fulfill the commitments that come with salvation.

You, you, you! Dear reader, true salvation focuses on CHRIST because what He did through Calvary's cross 2,000 years ago to pay for our sins. The only thing that you and I contribute to our own salvation is the sin that made it necessary.

The Bible Will Keep You From Becoming A Lunatic

Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Dear reader, if you stray away from the truth of God's inspired Word, you are fully capable of becoming a lunatic. No one is exempt. Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) said in a sermon that under the right circumstances anyone is capable of committing any sin. I fully agree.

We are living in a crazy world. Most people I think are good people, as far as sinners go. Every human being is a sinner (Romans 3:10-23). That is, we are all born with a sinful nature that makes us selfish (Romans 5:12). We have all violated God's laws. We are all guilty of doing things that we ought not do (sins of commission), and of not doing the good things that we should do (sins of omission). 1st John 1:10, “If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”

My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” The reason why it is my favorite Scripture passage is self-explanatory. My father used to wisely say that without Jesus Christ people can become monsters. My Dad was exactly right. Even with Jesus Christ, if you allow yourself to stray away from the inspired King James Bible, and get your priorities out of whack, you can become vulnerable to making some very bad decisions. Behind every tragedy in human character is a slow process of wicked thinking. Dr. Bob Jones Sr. (1883-1968) said that and he was absolutely right.

I love what Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) said:

“If you want to never do anything that is terribly wicked, then you never do anything that is slightly wicked.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, "Unjust In The Least"

That is character. When you get grounded in the Word of God, you establish checks and balances in your life.

Beware Of The Love Of Money

For example: The Bible warns against the love of money:

1st Timothy 6:6-10, “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

So many people do unthinkable wicked things to obtain money. The child of God should forget about pursuing riches as a goal in life. Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” If you fear God and esteem His Word, then you won't make money a priority in your life. When I hear someone saying that they want to become rich, I know I should avoid that person because they have a heathen mindset, not a biblical one.

To clarify, there's nothing wrong with wanting to go to college, learn a trade, and work hard to build a business to make money; but if you regard God and His Word, then you know that you must do it all honesty with integrity, and not hurt anybody along the journey. There are companies and individuals all across the United States today who are greedy, crooked and dishonest, who hurt people on a regular basis to make more money. They are evil people.

I've just given you one biblical principle about not loving or pursuing getting rich as a goal in life. Proverbs 15:27, “He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.” The Holy Bible has much to warn about the dangers of the love of money. There's just something about money that once you have it, it has you!

Little Sins Often Lead To Big Ones

Over the years I have watched hundreds of episodes of the Cold Case Files and Forensics Files television shows. I intentionally watched each episode looking for the small sins that people usually take for granted, which led to bigger deadly sins. In 99% of cases where someone was brutally murdered, it began much earlier with the sins of greed, lust, going to a strip club, flirting alone in a car with a friend's wife, irresponsible spending, fornication, et cetera.

That being said, I'm not really a fan of those shows because they are too creepy and I can only watch them a little here and there. But over time I have seen a lot of shows, and as a Bible preacher I have learned a lot about human character, proving the Bible true. Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

Famous writer Earnest Hemingway (1899-1961) said it best:

“All things truly wicked start from innocence.” —Ernest Hemingway

That is so true! In one shocking murder case in Tallahassee, Florida, a seemingly innocent conversation in a car between a man and his friend's wife led to adultery and the brutal murder of his friend, so he could steal his wife.

By the way, I don't believe for one second that Bathsheba in the Bible didn't know King David could see her bathing naked on her rooftop. Women all have a sixth sense about that stuff. There's no way that she was naked without knowing that the king could see her. It might have seemed like an innocent thing—a woman bathing naked on her own private rooftop—but it led to adultery and her husband being murdered. And for that matter, there is nothing innocent about a Christian woman wearing pants. One of the worst sins of our generation is pastor's wives who wear pants in public!

Ernest Hemingway was absolutely right, all things truly wicked start from innocence.

In Canada, a careless woman was exercising in her own living room while wearing spandex. A military soldier named Russell Williams was driving by and saw her through her open living room window. He went back to savagely rape and murder her. He victimized 86 women! That soldier had previously transported the Queen of England as a helicopter pilot. Do you know how much prison time he got? Although he was given two life sentences, he is eligible for parole after 25 years!!! What a joke! 86 VICTIMS!!! Guaranteed he will be out in 25 years!

My main point is that if she had simply closed her curtain while looking sexy while exercising, she'd still be alive today. Foolish loud-mouthed feminist women can harp all they want that men shouldn't attack females regardless of how they dress, and they are correct in what they are saying; but that's not how the real world works, and we all know it. There will always be evil people in this world, and if you give them a reason or opportunity to hurt you, they will.

The infamous Golden State Killer, Joseph James DeAngelo, told one of his over 50 victims while raping her in the wee hours of the morning in her own home in her own bed, that he had seen her water skiing and she turned him on. Now, people get upset with me as a fundamentalist Bible preacher all the time for preaching that women ought not wear pants, bikinis and other immoral attire in public, but true stories like this PROVE ME RIGHT!!!

Keep Thy Heart With All Diligence

You keep your heart by being on guard all the time; not paranoid, but in tune with God's inspired Word. God created humanity and gave us an owner's manual, the Holy Bible.

A pastor's wife who keeps her heart WON'T wear pants in public. Jesus said in Matthew 15:19, “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.” The human heart is full of every evil imagination. Kindly said, you need to keep your dog on a leash! That is, you need to keep your heart in tune with the Word of God, lest you end up a causality. If you give the wicked human heart an inch, it'll take a foot! I don't trust the man who trusts himself.

I once heard a foolish Christian man say that he thought a man should be able to be alone with another man's wife, without worrying that something intimate might happen. What saith the Scripture? 1st Thessalonians 5:22, “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”

That being said, I humbly do not believe that any married man or woman should ever be alone in a room or a car, or anywhere, together with the opposite sex. It just looks really bad and there is the potential for sin. Most people will say, “Well I don't care what people think!” Yeah, but the Lord does care and so should you, because we're talking about your Christian testimony. Remember, keep thy heart with all diligence. Some people would no doubt call me “old fashioned,” but that doesn't mean that I am wrong in my biblical position.

Dear reader, you have to be a little crazy in this world to stay sane, but by God's grace you don't have to go insane. If you carry a King James Bible the world will call you crazy! The old adage is very true: Either the Bible will keep us from sin, or sin will keep us from the Bible.

Psalms 119:9-12, “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.”

If you don't want to lose your mind, or commit some unthinkable insane crime someday, then dear reader get settled and grounded in the Word of God. Use only the inspired King James Bible. Listen to lots of Bible preaching by fundamentalist Bible preachers. Commit Bible passages to memory that you might say with the psalmist, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” (Psalms 119:11). Remember, it's okay to be a nut, just so long as you're screwed onto the right bolt. Jesus is precious!!!

The Civil War Was Not Fought Over Slavery

Psalm 47:8, “God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.”

Everybody thinks that the Civil War was fought over slavery, but it wasn't. Abraham Lincoln even later said that if the south had not seceded, he had no intentions of freeing the slaves. The New York Times and other of the whore media are reporting cyber attacks on US water systems in 7 states including Minnesota and Michigan. The attacks are attributed to Iran, although “Officials cautioned that they had not definitively determined that Iran was responsible for the attack.” So why report it? Is it news before it happens?

It is not certain, but in my opinion likely, that this is disinformation being fed to the presstitutes by the Trump Zionist regime in order to justify more and more risky attacks on Iran. As we all know, Netanyahu has a firm hold on Trump and that is what Netanyahu wants.

American patriots seem inclined to believe that America is always under attack by some designated enemy. The George W. Bush Zionist regime even attributed “weapons of mass destruction” to Iraq, a total impossibility, in order to justify a US invasion in the interests of Greater Israel. As General Wesley Clark said “seven countries in five years.”

Moreover, why would Iran, which attacks military, not civilian, targets, focus on water systems? It seems their cyberattacks would, like their military attacks, be focused on military infrastructure.

But assume Iran is behind the attacks on US water systems, keep in mind that Iranian civilian infrastructure and civilian residential areas continue to be targets of Zionist Trump’s attacks on Iran. I couldn't agree more with Dr. Paul Craig Roberts. Yesterday on the evening news I saw Palestinian children crying over their dead siblings laying in body bags on the ground. The victims in Gaza said Israel fired missiles deliberately against the children, which of course Israel denies. Just like Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong and other murderous tyrants, Israel blatantly lies while continuing to murder Palestinian's with impunity, sanctioned by the Trump administration. Where is justice?

Notoriously corrupt U.S. officials and so-called “experts” are warning Americans that the recent cyberattacks on U.S. water systems appear to be the work of Iran, particularly as these attacks have escalated since the U.S. and Israel launched a war against Iran five months ago. However, the investigation is still preliminary, and definitive proof has not yet been established. So then why tell us? Paul Craig Roberts is absolutely right. Why blame Iran when there's not one shred of proof that Iran is attacking our water systems? It is quite obvious that the White House is grasping for straws in a further attempt to demonize Iran to further our war efforts.

It sickens me that we could end homelessness across the nation for $30 billion, but President Trump just asked Congress for another $87.6 billion to bomb, bomb, Iran. When will we ever learn? I am so sick and tired of seeing the American people suffer without affordable housing, dental care or cost of living, while our reckless government continues to spend TRILLIONS on war. They spent $6.2 trillion just on the Iraq War; an illegal war never approved by Congress based upon non-existent Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs). The Bush administration fully knew before the U.S. military ever attacked Iraq that there never were any WMDs in Iraq.

It is tragic that the American public cannot believe anything that our federal government, Zionist controlled news media or White House tell us. The American people are still trying to recover from the media whiteout after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. The official story is a fabricated lie. Sadly, I have been kicked out and banned from the past several churches that I've attended. In each and every case it was simply because I took a biblical stand, in the most gentlemanly way, for truth and righteousness.

Harvest Baptist Church On Guam Persecuted Me

I attended the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam in 2013 to 2014. I grew to love the people and the church. For whatever reason, I didn't notice for the first several months what the church was about. In hindsight, all I remember is that I felt wanted and loved by the people. I still miss them today. But as Samson whose hair grew back and he regained his strength, after several months I began to see the serious problems in the church. I came to learn that they use dozens of different Bible versions, promote multiple different plans of salvation, think Martin Luther (1483-1546) was a born again Christian, their pastors followed and promoted Dr. John MacArthur (1939-2025), et cetera.

So, I had a choice to make, to either leave or stay and try to help them. I chose the latter, which in hindsight wasn't a good idea, but under the same circumstances I wouldn't have done anything differently, because I have become a living testimony against them for Judgment Day.

The next time I attended church, I was called into the church office and reprimanded for those books, falsely accused by the church pastors (senior pastor Marty Herron and associate pastor Joe Hensen) of causing "divisiveness" and "confusion." What hypocrites! Harvest Baptist Church on Guam officially uses multiple different versions of the Holy Bible (the Easy-To-Read Version and the King James Bible). Joe Hensen admitted to me that on any given Sunday at Harvest, you'll find at least TWO DOZEN different Bible versions circulating in their pews. Who is causing confusion? Acts 19:32, “Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.” They caused the confusion, not me!

They were already a house divided (and still are today), I didn't cause any divisiveness. You see dear reader, when you TELL THE TRUTH you have just taken an absolute position. So, if a corrupt neo-evangelical church like Harvest is using dozens of different Bible versions, and you come along and promote only the King James Bible as being God's inspired Word, in their incompetent ungodly eyes you become THE BAD GUY! Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?”

God is on my side because I TOLD THE TRUTH to Harvest's ungodly pastors!!! Marty Herron and Joe Hensen (and others) are in serious trouble with the LORD God almighty for preaching a perverted gospel, corrupting the inspired Word of God, refusing to stop promoting Martin Luther (1483-1546) as a born again Christian (who taught Sacramental Salvation all his life), and for throwing me under the bus to leave me alone to die on the road without my church family. Kindly said, those ungodly cruel pastors will be judged in eternity by God, and have their own cruel standards of harshness measured back unto them (Matthew 7:1-2).

Family Baptist Church In Pensacola Persecuted Us

When I attended the shameful Family Baptist Church in Pensacola between 2021 and 2025, I never said a single word in the church about my fundamentalist website ministry. I kept quiet to avoid getting kicked out. I new they were neo-evangelicals, but I still needed a place to go to church. It has become next to impossible these days to find a doctrinally sound Baptist church.

Unfortunately for me, the pastors (Brad and his father Bobby Moffett) and their ungodly worldly wives (who wear their sexy pants in public) found my website ministry. It was this article in particular, 'Why A Christian Lady Ought Not Wear Pants,' that struck a deep nerve with the pastor's wife. She had at times given me a hateful stare at church (The Evil Eye), and I wondered why. Now I know why!

I and my wife attended their 2025 Memorial Day picnic for the first time at the Lilian Recreational Park in Alabama. My wife has never wore a pair of pants in her entire life. She showed up wearing a full-length dress. As you can already guess, Pastor Brad Moffett's wife was wearing sexy pants, and she felt convicted. We didn't have to say one word. She was irked! So much so, that when we were sitting down eating our meals, the pastor's ungodly wife walked over 50 feet, passing everybody along her way, to utter the words in front of us: “I like your shorts!” to a young teenager girl sitting next to me at our picnic table.

Of the thousands of things that the pastor's wife could have said that moment, knowing who I am (a fundamentalist Baptist Bible preacher), there is absolutely no way that she innocently made that snark comment. And you better believe that it offended me! Personally, I couldn't care less if the pastor's wife wears pants. But I do care when she shoves it in my face and mocks the man of God. Her wicked husband (the church pastor) was so dishonest, that he later claimed he was standing nearby (he wasn't even in sight) and denied that his wife ever made that statement. Me and my wife both heard her say loud and clear, "I like your shorts!" What wicked people!

On April 30th, 2025, Pastor Brad had invited me and my wife into his office for a different reason. But then he lied and chose instead to criticize my website ministry, which was a low class thing to do, highly unethical. He did a Bait & Switch tactic on us!

In that unpleasant meeting (which I am 100% convinced his ungodly wife stirred him up like Jezebel stirred up Ahab to do), he had the article I mentioned earlier, 'Why A Christian Lady Ought Not Wear Pants,' printed on his desk, and he wanted to argue about women wearing pants in a sinful attempt to justify his wife wearing her worldly attire (Proverbs 7:10).

We were shocked when Pastor Brad said that it doesn't matter if his wife wears pants, because based on Galatians 5:16b (“Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh”), a man walking in the Spirit will not lust. We were dumbfounded at the wickedness of this incompetent pastor!

First, no Christian man walks in the Holy Spirit all the time, so they will lust if tempted.

Second, Brad's ungodly wife is tempting men, making it harder for them to win what the Bible calls “a war against the soul” in 1st Peter 2:11, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.” Why would any Christian woman who claims to love Jesus, let alone a pastor's wife who sets the example of modesty in a church, want to make it harder for men to think and live right?

SHAME on Pastor Brad Moffett and his verbally abusive father Bobby Moffett, and their ungodly worldly wives who wear sexy pants in public, and the ungodly Family Baptist Church in Pensacola who stand behind their wicked pastors. And to add insult to injury, which was a clear declaration of Brad's defiance against a holy God, he told me and my wife as a testimony before God on April 30th, 2025, in his office: “I am not a fundamentalist!” Yeah, no kidding, but he'll wish to God he had been one on Judgment Day in eternity.

Christian Fundamentalism is nothing more than obeying the inspired King James Bible, and separating from those who don't. In hindsight, I never should have attended that neo-evangelical corrupt church. I will stay home for the rest of my life before I will ever step foot into another neo-evangelical cult—that uses any other Bible than the inspired King James Bible, and that preaches any other gospel than what Paul taught in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4.

Family Baptist Church in Pensacola preaches a perverted gospel which requires repenting of your sins to get to Heaven, which is nowhere taught in the inspired Word of God.

Right Doctrine And Morals Matter

I could tell you many other true inexplicably painful stories of how church leaders threw me under the bus for TELLING THE TRUTH. If you just fill up 18-inches of pew three times a week at church, nobody will bother you. But if you stand up for truth and righteousness, they will persecute you. Telling the truth is a part of living godly in Christ Jesus (2nd Timothy 3:12).

The Peace Of God

John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Fear is caused by thinking you must carry tomorrow's burdens with today's strength. God is peace. Ephesians 2:13-14, “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.”

We fear the unknown.
We fear want and poverty.
We fear death.
We fear the future.
We fear eternity.
We fear failure.

God doesn't fear anything, which is why God has peace. If God has peace we will make it! And God is peace! So, when the Bible talks about “the peace of God,” the Scripture is literally saying that God is at perfect peace. God offers His perfect peace to us. John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” What a beautiful truth!

In America we love the word “security,” but there is no such thing. There is no such thing as “social security.” The only security that has ever existed is God. The LORD is tranquil. He is relaxed and never stresses over anything. God is not worried about anything. The same peace that God has is freely available to you dear reader, if you want it.

Philippians 4:6-8, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

I love and cherish that promise from God. The same peace which makes God feel serene, at home and calm at all times is freely available to you and me. It is not a different peace, but the exact same peace Jesus has. You don't have to have a nervous breakdown. You don't have to crack up. You don't have to spend $50 an hour to meet with some psychiatrist nut, so you can become as nutty as she is. Oh, that every redeemed saint of God would claim “the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,” which “shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7b).

That being said, some people do have nervous issues and they need extra grace from God to help them cope with their nervous condition, but God's grace is sufficient dear reader. The same peace which God possesses which causes Him not to fret, worry, sulk and panic is available to you. John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

If you're ready to have a nervous breakdown, go home and bake some cookies for your neighbor. Prepare a gift box for a homeless person and then go give it to them in Jesus' name. Take your guitar to a local nursing home to cheer some elderly people up. If you'll spend one hour a day doing something for others, you won't have a nervous breakdown. When I get down and discouraged, I lose myself in my website ministry, working day and night for Jesus Christ to help others find the truth that will set them free (John 8:32-36).

If you sincerely believe that God has a perfect peace, you won't be upset if you think God's okay. Folks, God is still on His throne today! Everything alright in my Father's house, where there's joy, jot, joy. Get your mind off of yourself and you won't commit suicide. Get out of the self life and your life will find new meaning. The greatest things in life are not things! The most miserable people on the planet are well-to-do people who live only for themselves.

I thank God for the precious memories I have for doing something nice to help someone when I was down and discouraged. I am not a wealthy man, but one day I gave $100 bill to a disheveled homeless man in Guam who helped me load my groceries into the back of my car. He immediately put his head down in humility and I knew I had touched his heart. I wouldn't trade that precious memory for anything, and I guarantee you that he will never forget that moment. I did if for Jesus. Proverbs 19:17, “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.”

Oh, that every redeemed saint of God would claim “the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,” which “shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7b). And please don't overlook or dismiss Philippians 4:8, which teaches us as saints the importance of maintaining a healthy thought life by avoiding critical people, relentless bad news and negative things. We are what we think!

Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Amish Ladies Put Baptist Women To Shame

Proverbs 7:10-11, “And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house.”

One of the most controversial topics that I write about as a fundamentalist Bible preacher is modesty. God knows that I mean no unkindness or disrespect to anyone, sincerely. I simply believe that the good LORD intended for women to be feminine, which means dressing modestly, carrying herself like a proper lady, and possessing a calm spirit of humility and sweetness at all times. Sadly, the typical image of the American woman today is not pleasant.

I have tremendous admiration and respect for Amish ladies, who wouldn't ever even consider putting on a pair of pants. I speak to the shame of most Baptist females today who wear pants:

How does Amish beliefs and Biblical emphasis on modesty compare to shameful American women in churches today who wear pants, Spandex, shorts and other immodest attire in public? Call me what you will, God is on my side. Psalms 118:6, “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”

I have been wickedly shunned, ridiculed, censured, mistreated, despised, belittled; even I and my wife kicked out of Family Baptist in Pensacola in June of 2025 over my Bible preaching against women wearing pants. The pastor's wife wears pants and they (not me) took issue with my article, “Why A Christian Lady Ought Not Wear Pants.” Such is the life of a faithful Bible preacher who tells THE TRUTH. The Apostle Paul experienced the same persecution and rejection from churchgoers for telling THE TRUTH. Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?”

I find it disturbing that the Amish have higher Biblical moral values than over 95% of today's evangelical communities. I speak particularly to my own camp of Baptists. American culture today is not in the same orbit as Biblical morality, integrity and decency. Sadly, over 95% of professed Christian females today have sinfully adopted perverse American culture instead of following the inspired Word of God concerning morality, dress and decency.

To hear the pastor of a church defend women wearing pants in public, and hear him foolishly wrest the inspired Scripture in a wicked attempt to justify immodesty, is unimaginably evil. Evil is planned sin. Whenever a female puts on a pair of pants, knowing that immodesty and lust are sinful, she is doing evil. ...

1st Peter 2:11-12, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.”

Whereas the inspired Holy Bible calls fleshly lusts a “war against the soul,” today's ungodly pastors and pastor's wives make light of modesty, justifying immodesty under the excuse of having liberty in Christ. I have been called many disparaging names over the years, particularly of being a “legalist.” In theology a legalist is someone who adds works to grace, which I have not done.

Sadly, today's wicked army of neo-evangelical churches have all but totally abandoned Biblical separation from the world and false teachers.

Today's Worldly Foolish Pastors

Last year a local cocky younger Baptist pastor in Pensacola condemned my Bible preaching against women wearing pants. He insisted that his wife wears pants and she loves Jesus as much as any religious woman. I kindly told him that I completely disagreed, and that my wife demonstrates her love for Jesus by the long dresses she has faithfully worn all her life. What saith the Scripture? John 14:15, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” The old adage is very true: Your talk talks and your walk talks, but your walk talks louder than your talk talks.

According to that henpecked errant local pastor, the inspired King James Bible doesn't forbid Christian women wearing pants. He contends that God's command for Christian ladies to wear “modest apparel” in 1st Timothy 2:9-10 somehow permits his wife to wear sexy pants in public. Kindly said, I think his denial of the truth is wicked and shameful.

1st Timothy 2:9-10, “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.”

As Amish ladies fully understand, the clothing that a female wears conveys a message to those who see her. Does a pair of pants on a women convey modesty? You are a dishonest person and not right with God if you think it does. There is no way that pants could ever be made modest on a woman, and any honest person knows it. I am so sick and tired of immature, backslidden, carnally-minded, ungodly religious people trying to justify pants on females. I am a much despised and criticized Bible preacher for my stand against women wearing pants. I am not against the women; I am against them wearing pants in public.

Tragically, the U.S. Attorney General declared it legal for women to wear trousers in public on May 28, 1923, marking a significant change in women's rights regarding clothing. Prior to this, many laws and social customs prohibited women from wearing pants. It cannot be denied that the United States has experienced a steady decline in moral values and faith in God over the past century. There is nothing new under the sun...

Isaiah 1:4-6, “Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. I Will Be Deleting My Facebook Account On Monday

I have had it with Facebook! Today my account was suspended for three days over a FALSE ACCUSATION regarding a post I uploaded concerning modesty. Here is their horrible unprovoked threatening message to me today. I won't tolerate this abuse! ...

Well, they've already suspended my Facebook account for three days. Facebook are liars! They have not repeatedly warned me. This is the first warning of this type that I have received. I don't like LIARS! I had uploaded a post a few days ago preaching against women wearing pants in public. This is without a doubt the hottest subject that I get heat and criticism over from my Bible preaching. The next topics that generate heat are the eternal security of the believer, my refusal to fully support President Donald Trump, my denial of a flat earth, and my rejection of Zionism and present-day manmade Israel. People go ballistic over these topics!

Suspended from social: Coloradans say Meta wrongfully shut down their accounts

For my Facebook posts, I usually get about 4 or 5 emojis in response, 12 or 15 at most. This particular post received over 50 emojis, most laughing emojis by peeved women who disagree with my noble post that Christian women ought not wear pants in public. They wickedly hate me as a fundamentalist preacher for upholding Biblical modesty! Hey, get angry at God, because He made morality. Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

Facebook's owner Mark Zuckerberg has been sued by thousands of people, forced to testify in front of congress and answer to thousands of angry parents for bad things that happened to their children on Facebook. So, Facebook are now paranoid over any potential problems in this area, overacting to any complaints, falsely accusing their users. My guess is that one of the ungodly angry women FALSELY accused me of uploading an inappropriate image to hurt me, and Facebook's system reacted without even bothering to investigate the complaint. God knows my heart. Proverbs 29:26b, “...every man's judgment cometh from the LORD.”

1st Samuel 24:15, “The LORD therefore be judge, and judge between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of thine hand.”

I have never liked Facebook (now renamed to "Meta Platforms"). Facebook is utterly confusing and very difficult to figure out and navigate. After several years of using Facebook, I still cannot figure it out because Facebook is so confusing and unfriendly for users. I am done! I will protect my name as much as I can. I don't have to use Meta (Facebook), and why should I when they are horribly accusing me of a serious crime? Facebook have gone too far!

Facebook is largely a Satanic tool for evil, blamed for causing thousands of divorces.

I won't be FALSELY ACCUSED of such an atrocious, despicable and evil crime as child sexual exploitation and continue to support Facebook's platform! Proverbs 22:1, “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.” When Facebook unsuspends my account in three days, I am going to post this article for my Facebook readers to see, and give it two days, then I am deleting my account, unless something happens that changes my mind between now and Monday.

There is no point in deactivating my account when I have no intentions of ever going back to Facebook. We are living in a frightening society today in the United States when people are going to prison for life over allegations of committing sexual crimes. I'd rather be accused of murder than sexually exploiting a child. Facebook's heads are stuck where the sun don't shine!

One of my neighbours in Pensacola was just sentenced to 25 years in prison, accused of fondling a young teen girl that his wife was babysitting. Facebook are playing with fire! It seems that Mark Zuckerberg wants to drag everybody else down with himself. He has been repeatedly accused of enabling pedophiles in the news, so now he wants to accuse Meta users of the same perversion. I am just one of thousands of Meta users who've been unjustly targeted and falsely accused. I won't stand for it! Unlike anonymous creeps who have FALSELY ACCUSED me of wrong doing in the past on social media, I do know who Facebook is and there is something I can do. On Monday I am deleting my account, if they don't do it for me. I am sick of Facebook!

God willing, I am deleting my account on Monday unless I receive an apology from Facebook for FALSELY ACCUSING ME of such a serious crime. Let the world go to Hell.

I Don't Need Or Want Facebook's Crap

Furthermore, Facebook is full of ungodly heathens, belligerent jerks and rotten people (the world). When a preacher friend of mine commit suicide in 2024 and I posted a tribute to honor him, over 75 losers posted laughing emojis just to express hatred toward my ministry friend. People foolishly believe whatever the news media says. I don't need this garbage in my daily life. Facebook is a source of hurt feelings, grief and irritation.

Furthermore, the several thousand posts and images that I've uploaded over the past several years to Facebook are all buried in the Deep Web, so that none of it appears in the search engines. I've been basically feeding a few dozen Facebook users when I could be spending my time reaching thousands. I humbly think that my time for Jesus Christ can be used better elsewhere, where all of my work is in the public domain, not buried in the Deep Web.

I know of Baptist a pastor who has written over 10,000 posts in the Fighting Fundamentalist Forum (which forum I hate for all their slander and gossip); all of which articles are buried in the Deep Web, so that no one outside of the Fighting Fundamentalist Forum will ever read them (and from what I know about the pastor that is a good thing). Lord willing, I plan to spend a lot more time working on my ministry websites and blogs. To Hell with Facebook!

I only started Facebook several years ago as an extension of my Jesus-is-Savior.com website ministry, but it hasn't done anything to help my ministry. If anything Facebook has drawn me away from my ministry work. All I've been doing lately is bickering with worldly backslidden Christians who don't want to live for the LORD. They want to debate theology to prove my beliefs wrong and they disrespect me. That's not what I signed up for. And now Facebook is making bogus bizarre FALSE CLAIMS about me. Enough is enough!

The Sin of Christian Women Wearing Worldly Pants

I will go to seed preaching Biblical morality in this important area of female modesty. ...

1st Timothy 2:9-10, “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.”

Do pants convey (becometh) godliness? No. You won't find an Amish lady wearing pants. No you won't! Amish women put most Baptist females to utter contemptible shame. And don't you dare tell me that it is a mere cultural distinction that Amish women choose. They are moral. They care about modesty! Most worldly females in our churches today have been so infected by the heathen world and feminist ideologies, that they don't know or care what it means anymore to be modest. Shame on any pastor, pastor's wife or Christian who attempts to justify females wearing pants, shorts, bikinis, Spandex or other immodest attire in public. God cares about modesty and so should you!

Amish women do not wear pants because their dress code emphasizes modesty and traditional values, which are expressed through long dresses and skirts. This choice reflects their commitment to humility and separation from the modern world, as outlined in their community guidelines. So, why do most Baptist pastor's wives wear pants? They have no excuse! Call me what you will, I am not just old-fashioned, I am right!

I Have Been Persecuted For Standing For Modesty

In 2014, when I was having a three way conversation with Marty Herron (senior pastor of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam from 1999 to 2018), and a visiting guest preacher, I kindly made the comment that women ought not wear pants. Pastor Herron made the disparaging remark about me, “He's old school.” I'm not just old school, I am Biblically right! One of the greatest evils today is that churches are following the heathen world closely, but like Peter are following Jesus afar off. Ungodly Christian women today are ashamed to look old-fashioned, to stand out for being exceptionally modest. They want to appear “hip” and “cool” with the ungodly heathen world, hiding their light for Christ under a bushel.

When I and my wife attended the horrible Family Baptist Church in Pensacola (2021-2025), they ruthlessly kicked us out of our church family over modesty. My wife has never wore anything but long full-length dresses her entire life. The pastor's wife and mother wear pants and took great offense over my Bible preaching on social media. I had never said one word about my beliefs in their church. THEY (not me) made an issue (a stink) over my Biblical stand on social media against women wearing pants, because their worldly wives feel Holy Spirit conviction. Since I and my wife made them feel uncomfortable by our very presence, since we are living separated lives for Jesus, they wanted us gone. Today's churches have become pathetic!

On April 30th, 2025, Pastor Brad Moffett censured my website ministry, mistreating I and my wife in his church office. He had invited us into his office for a different purpose, but did a Bait & Switch on us (which I think his bossy wife pressured Brad to do). In that horrible meeting, Brad slandered Pastor Jack Hyles, calling him a carnally-minded dirty old man.

Even worse, Pastor Brad falsely accused Brother Hyles of ruining hundreds of families at Hyles-Anderson College through alleged perverse teachings on sex and marriage. I and my wife were shocked, hurt and utterly disgusted by Brad's allegations, having no idea what Brad Moffett was talking about (and when we asked he refused to explain his accusations). Dr. Hyles is my and Alice's hero of the Christian faith, under whose ministry we were both saved.

Pastor Brad insisted that no one loves Jesus more than his worldly wife, and that there is absolutely nothing wrong with his wife wearing sexy pants in public. The inspired Holy Bible does not agree! To the same degree that you obey the Holy Bible you love Jesus. John 14:15, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” Using religion as a cover-up for sin is a common issue, as it allows individuals to rationalize their behavior instead of taking responsibility. If Amish women refuse to wear pants because it is worldly and not expressive of their faith, what makes you think it is acceptable to God for Baptist women to wear pants?

We are living in the “perilous times” foretold in 2nd Timothy 3:1-7. A century ago in the United States you couldn't find a woman wearing pants in public. It was a shameful thing back then for a woman to reveal her buttocks and thighs in public, and it still is today. If you think this is merely a matter of culture, like Pastor Brad Moffett sinfully told me in April of 2025, then you are not right with God either. Any honest Christian KNOWS that pants are not modest on a female. Pants, shorts and Spandex are worldly attire which are very inappropriate for a lady!

Woe unto today's ungodly churches! The world has no place in a local New Testament church. Mark 4:23, “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.”

It was reported in the news this week that inventor businessman Elon Musk became the world's first trillionaire after the initial public offering (IPO) of his company SpaceX on June 12, 2026, which significantly increased his net worth to around $1.1 trillion. This milestone was achieved as SpaceX's stock debuted at $150 per share and rose shortly thereafter. Proverbs 28:6, “Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.”

Elon Musk was previously known for his atheistic views, stating that he found the idea of a super consciousness unlikely and believed in the evolution of complexity from simplicity. However, he has since shifted his beliefs, now identifying as a "cultural Christian" and expressing a belief in God after years of atheism. He no longer identifies as an atheist.

But don't get too excited yet. Cultural Christians are individuals who appreciate Christian values and culture, but do not actively practice the Christian faith or hold religious beliefs. They may identify as agnostics, atheists, or non-practicing Christians, often influenced by their family background or social environment. Unreal! You couldn't make this stuff up. You can still be an atheist while claiming to be a Cultural Christian!!!

Whatever Elon thinks he now is, he's NOT a born again Christian. So, effectively he's still no better off than if we were still an avowed atheist. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” There are billions of people all across the planet who claim to be a “Christian,” but they have never been born again. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again.

Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened to the people in Matthew 7:21-23. They boasted to Christ of having done “many wonderful works” in His name. They boasted of preaching in Jesus' name. They had even cast out devils in His name. Matthew 10:1 says Jesus gave His disciples (including unsaved Judas) the power to cast out devils. They had lived the Christian life in Matthew 7:21-23, but the dear Savior denied knowing them as His redeemed sheep.

I admire Elon Musk for his inventive aspirations, courage to take risks, and business wisdom. But I fear for his soul. Life is short, Hell is hot, and eternity is a long time. It is my hope and sincere prayer that Elon would come to the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ before it is too late. We never know what a day may bring forth (Proverbs 27:1). Being a Cultural Christian is worthless as far as being born again is concerned. The very term “Cultural Christian” is offensive to me as a born again child of God. It is a misnomer! There is nothing “Christian” about being a Cultural Christian, anymore than “Federal Express” is a part of the federal government. Elon Musk is not a Christian in any legitimate sense of the word.

Being a “Cultural Christian” is synonymous with being a phony Hellbound Christian! I did not write this article to be unkind, God knows my heart. I wrote this article to draw attention to the fact that regardless of how much wealth someone may have in this temporary world, we cannot take one scintilla of it with us into eternity! 1st Timothy 6:7, “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.”

Elon Musk has more money than he could spend in a million lifetimes. Literally, if he lived one million lifetimes, he could have a million dollars to spend for each one. Tragically, his earthly prosperity is destroying him. Proverbs 1:32, “For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.” Wealth has blinded many people, as it did the rich man in Luke 16:19-31. The only thing that will matter when we breathe our last breath, and our heart pumps blood for the very last time, is whether or not we have been born again by faith alone in Jesus Christ. That is how you obey the gospel, by believing it!

Here is God's simple plan of salvation. You and I are wicked sinners (Romans 3:10-23). We all deserve to spend eternity burning in Hell for our own sins (Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8). But God the Father in His love, sent His only begotten Son Jesus into the world to die on a cross 2,000 years ago to pay our debt of sin (Romans 5:6-9; 1st Corinthians 1:18). Jesus was buried, but then three days later He miraculously resurrected from the dead. This is the gospel (1st Corinthians 15:1-6), by which all who BELIEVE IT are saved instantly, irrevocably and eternally (Romans 1:16). You have God's promise of it (1st Corinthians 1:21).

Simply by faith (taking God at His written Word), simply accept Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that Jesus who was buried, raised up the third day. That's it. That's all you need to do to go to Heaven someday. You've just got to believe that Jesus did it all for you.

The Atheist Religion Of Rush

Ecclesiastes 7:5, “It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.”

Rush is a Canadian rock band which began in 1968 in Toronto. They were inducted into the Canadian Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 1994, and the U.S. Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2013. They've had 24 gold albums, 14 platinum (3 multi-platinum). The band has sold over 50 million albums worldwide for over the past 50 years. And they're still performing.

Tragically, bassist Geddy Lee, drummer Neil Peart (1952-2020) and guitarist Alex Lifeson are all avowed atheists. Geddy has called himself a “Jewish atheist.” Neil Peart said publicly that he is agnostic (not sure what he believed), but he also said that he was skeptical if God exists. So, effectively he was also an atheist. That is so sad and tragic! The inspired King James Bible says they are all WITHOUT EXCUSE!!!

Romans 1:20-21, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”

The band members of Rush are all self-made millionaires. Neil Peart had a net worth of $42 million at the time of his death from brain cancer in 2020. Geddy Lee's net worth is $40 million. Alex Lifeson's net worth is $35 million. They are all rich men who think they have no need of God in this world, but they will regret the day they were born in the afterlife. I say that kindly with love because I care. If the inspired King James Bible be true, and I've staked my eternity that it is, all of Rush's band members will spend eternity suffering in the torments of Hell's fire and brimstone, without rest day nor night, without hope, forever! They made their choices!

I have been a hobbyist musician since age 15. I play many stringed instruments well. My favorite is the pedal steel guitar, and second is the 5-string banjo. As such I have a musical opinion about bands like Rush, and then there is my Christian opinion as a born again child of God. Musically speaking, I have admired Rush's music for the past 50 years. Fly By Night is one of my favorite Rush songs, from 1975. Speaking as a Christian, they are of the Devil.

Having said that, I never really listened to the lyrics as a teenager, I mostly heard the music. I never grasped the deeper meaning of their lyrical contents. But now that I am much older, and I have examined the band member's lives, beliefs and lyrics out of mere curiosity, I am disturbed. I had never known that all of Rush's members are avowed atheists. That is so sad and tragic. But if you listen to them talk in interviews, and read their song's lyrics, they make dissing God sound so sensible and wise.

In reality, kindly said, they are fools under the wrath of God according to the inspired Holy Bible. John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” Psalm 7:11, “God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.” Our divine Creator does not take it lightly when you reject the gift of His only begotten Son, Jesus.

This song is clearly an attack against God. The band member's atheist views are inherent in the lyrics, discouraging the listener from having faith in God. They mention prayer, Heaven, one's celestial state, all blaspheming God and His Word. We are taught by Jesus Himself in Mark 11:22b, “Have faith in God.” But you certainly do have a freewill given to you by your Creator, and He will not force you to trust in His only begotten Son, but you will spend eternity burning in the Lake of Fire if you don't. Who are you, or me, to challenge God almighty?

One thing that I commonly see in those who critique organized religion is that they don't make a distinction between faith in God versus faith in organized religion, and there is a big difference. In the song Faithless, they attack the Bible preacher...

Many preachers are empty vessels, but I am not. By God's grace, I have preached THE TRUTH for the past 24 years of website ministry since 2002, and I've never requested or taken a single penny for my labors for Christ. My ministry is a labor of love for God, truth and people. But Rush just lumps all Bible preachers into one sinking ship, accusing us of being empty vessels that ring so loud. Unfortunately for Neil Peart, it is now too late. The moment he breathed his last breath in 2020, dying from brain cancer, his eternal fate was sealed.

Atheism Is A Religion

I don't care what any skeptic or naysayer says, atheism is absolutely a religion.

I recently had a very disturbing chat with ChatGPT about how the moon was formed. We got into some deep philosophical ideas and I had ChatGPT going in circles when I corned it. According to ChatGPT a big rock smashed into the earth. When I asked the A.I. why it didn't bother to mention the other possibility, that God made the moon, it dismissed my concern using the excuse that it gave me the "scientific" answer, not the theological one. ChatGPT says it is programmed to "infer user intent" and thus infers that ALL of it's users want the scientific answer, unless they specifically mention "God."

This is where it got philosophical, because I challenged Chat GPT on the validity of deeming a speculative hypothesis (not even a theory based upon credible evidence) as being "scientific." The crazy idea that a gargantuan rock smashed into the earth billions of years ago, and then a big piece of the molten earth broke off and somehow became a perfectly round moon circling in our planet's orbit, is beyond absurd! It is absolute pure science fiction. This is 100% atheist indoctrination. Only a very dishonest person would dare claim that a bizarre non-plausible chaotic collision formed the moon billions of years ago, when the inspired Holy Bible plainly teaches in Genesis 1:14-18 and Psalm 8:3 that God made the moon.

The Theia theory, also known as the giant-impact hypothesis, was first proposed by Canadian geologist Reginald Daly in 1946. This hypothesis suggests that the moon formed from debris resulting from a collision between the early Earth and a Mars-sized body named Theia. If you believe that is how the moon formed, I truly feel sorry for your blatant ignorance. Do you also think the earth is flat? I hope not. It blows my mind in 2026 to know that millions of fools still think that the earth is flat, and that our planet does not move through space at 67,100 mph.

NASA, museums and universities everywhere, National Geographic, and countless other heathen groups, have adopted Reginald Daly's ridiculous hypothesis of how the moon was made. It is the religion of atheism, a set of beliefs which cannot be proven. Daly's bogus hypothesis is no more “science” than claiming that the moon is made out of Swiss cheese!

I wrote a blog about the danger of using ChatGPT. Don't get me wrong, I really like Chat GPT, but it will lie to you sometimes! I've tested it numerous times, catching it in a lie. For practical advice ChatGPT is great. But if you are going through marriage difficulties, it will at times suggest filing for divorce, and that is unscriptural.

When I asked ChatGPT about two undetonated bombs found in the Alfred P. Murrah Building in 1995, after the Oklahoma City Bombing incident, the A.I. denied that any bombs were found. When I shared a link to the actual local news video about the discovered bombs, ChatGPT still denied that they existed. Clearly, some evil people who don't want the public to know the truth are controlling ChatGPT. Here's the video, so you can go ask ChatGPT for yourself. Have fun! The A.I. dismissed my ministry website as a "conspiratorial website." Ha!

Atheism is a religion, and it is what the band members of Rush are promoting, and it is evil. So, as much as millions of fans love and cherish the band's creative music, we must at the same time acknowledge that they are pulling on the same rope as the Devil.
