Sundarbans wildlife tiger forest expeditions

Next Departure: 10th to 13th, 17th to 20th, 26th o 29h September, 7th to 11th October, 20th, to 29th December & every Thursday from Dhaka in the whole month of November, December, January, February, March and 1st of April honey hunting festival trip 2016.

These trips cover the Sundarbans forest- the largest mangrove forest in the world (5770sk.km) and the home of Royal Bengal Tiger. A network of River and creeks criss – crosses their dense evergreen forests. You often find tiger crossing the river and crocodiles basking in the sun. Deers, wild boars, otters river Dolphin, over 270 species of birds, 120 species of fish, 50 species of reptiles and 8 species of amphibians are still found there. THE WORLD HERITAS SITES- the largest remaining tract of habitat for the Royal Bengal Tiger can be the best destination for adventures cruising for a few days.

Day-01: Depart Dhaka in the night at around 10:00 pm by Shohag Volvo bus from Malibug about to Khulna.

Day-02 : on arrival early in the morning you will Board to the specially build boat in the Morning. On way, we will stop at Daingmary forest station to take the permit finally. sitting on the watch tower to have a look the wildlife, Before sun set stop at any convenient place or Katka forest station for over night stay.

Day-03: On this day, we will offer different activities at around Katka going into the beach for explore virgin silent beach through deep jungle of tiger point forest in a group with coast guard. after Kachikhali, like walking into the forest, Birds watching & finding wild animals in the narrow creeks/canal in the evening by a country boat. Over night in Kachikhali forest station nearby.

Day-04: More activities in the forest and we will Start the return journey and on way back visit on Karamjal wildlife sanctuary in the last afternoon start return drive back to Dhaka via A/c Bus in the night.. early Morning arrive at dhaka.

ITINERARY02:

Day 01: Dhaka to Morolgonj by Paddle wheel steamer

In the afternoon (16:00 hrs), we start journey to Sadarghat steamer port. After arrival at Sadarghat accommodate the Rocket steamer & start cruise at 18:30 hrs. The famous paddle wheel steamer (now converted from steam to marine diesel engine) on ward to Morolgonj under Bagerhat. Night pass in the 1st class AC cabin on the boat. Overnight at steamer.

Day 02:: Full day cruise by Paddle wheel steamer to Morolgonj After full day cruise Rocket will arrive Morolgonj by 16-17 hrs. Drive to Bagerhat by AC car to visit the historical sixty domes Mosque and The world heritage site along with other historical places of nearby areas. Transfer to Hotel Passur** by the river bank and overnight stay at hotel Pasur

Day 03: Early morning, immediately the boat will start cruising towards the Sundarbans Forest. We’ll arrive at Kotka around 1600 hrs. In the late afternoon hiking in the Kotka forest area to see wild life and forest. Overnight at Kotka on the boat.

Day 04: Early in the morning we shall offer trip through small creeks and canals by country boat to see the wildlife and feel the forest from very close. After breakfast Jungle walk, etc will be offered. At around 12:00 hrs start cruising towards Kochikhali wildlife sanctuary, upon arrival Jungle walk and bird watching is the main activities of Kachikhali Tiger point. Bar – B – Q dinner on boat & the boat its cruise back to Harintana forest office range for overnight after anchored. .

Day 05: cruise through Sundarbans best channel name – Berrikhal then visit Herbaria Eco tourism centre and Karamjal crocodile firm, leave the boat by 02:30 pm at Mongla to Jessore by reserved car and by evening flight back to Dhaka from Jessore.
