রোযার গুরুত্ব:
ইসলামে রোযা একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ইবাদত এবং ইসলামের পাঁচটি স্তম্ভের মধ্যে অন্যতম। এটি প্রত্যেক প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক মুসলমানের জন্য ফরজ, যদি তারা শারীরিক ও মানসিকভাবে সক্ষম হয়। রোযার মূল উদ্দেশ্য হলো আত্মশুদ্ধি, সংযম এবং তাকওয়া অর্জন করা। কুরআনে আল্লাহ বলেছেন:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
“হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমাদের ওপর রোযা ফরজ করা হয়েছে, যেমন ফরজ করা হয়েছিল তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের ওপর, যেন তোমরা তাকওয়া অর্জন করতে পারো।”

রোযা মানুষকে ধৈর্যশীল, সহানুভূতিশীল এবং আত্মনিয়ন্ত্রণকারী করে তোলে। এটি কেবল খাবার ও পানীয় থেকে বিরত থাকার নাম নয়, বরং সকল প্রকার পাপাচার ও অনৈতিক কার্যকলাপ থেকে দূরে থাকার অনুশীলন।

রোযার ফযীলত (পুণ্য ও উপকারিতা):

১. আল্লাহর নৈকট্য লাভ:
রোযার মাধ্যমে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জন করা যায়। হাদিসে কুদসিতে আল্লাহ বলেন:

“মানুষের সমস্ত আমল তার নিজের জন্য, কিন্তু রোযা শুধুমাত্র আমার জন্য, এবং আমি নিজে এর প্রতিদান দিব।” (বুখারি, মুসলিম)

২. গুনাহ মাফ ও জান্নাতের দরজা খোলা:
নবী মুহাম্মাদ (সা.) বলেছেন:

“যে ব্যক্তি ঈমানের সাথে এবং সওয়াবের আশায় রোযা রাখে, তার পূর্ববর্তী সমস্ত গুনাহ ক্ষমা করে দেওয়া হয়।” (বুখারি, মুসলিম)

এছাড়া, রমজান মাসে জান্নাতের দরজাগুলো খুলে দেওয়া হয় এবং জাহান্নামের দরজাগুলো বন্ধ করা হয়।

তাকওয়া অর্জন:
রোযার অন্যতম লক্ষ্য হলো তাকওয়া (আল্লাহভীতি) বৃদ্ধি করা, যা মানুষকে সকল ধরনের পাপ থেকে দূরে রাখে।

দোয়া কবুল হওয়ার সুযোগ:
নবী (সা.) বলেছেন:

“রোযাদারের দোয়া কখনো ফেরত দেওয়া হয় না।” (তিরমিজি)

বিশেষত, ইফতারের সময় দোয়া কবুল হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা বেশি থাকে।

বিশেষ দরজা ‘রাইয়ান’:
কিয়ামতের দিন জান্নাতে একটি বিশেষ দরজা থাকবে, যার নাম ‘রাইয়ান’, যা শুধুমাত্র রোযাদারদের জন্য নির্ধারিত। (বুখারি, মুসলিম)

শারীরিক ও মানসিক উপকারিতা:

Importance of Fasting:

Fasting (Sawm) is one of the five pillars of Islam and is obligatory for every adult Muslim who is physically and mentally capable. The primary purpose of fasting is to attain self-purification, self-discipline, and Taqwa (God-consciousness). Allah says in the Quran:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
"O you who believe! Fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain Taqwa."
(Surah Al-Baqarah: 183)

Fasting is not just about abstaining from food and drink but also about refraining from all sinful and unethical activities. It helps develop patience, empathy, and self-control.

Virtues of Fasting (Rewards & Benefits):

Closeness to Allah:
Through fasting, one earns the pleasure of Allah. In a Hadith Qudsi, Allah says:

"Every deed of the son of Adam is for himself, except fasting. It is for Me, and I will reward it Myself." (Bukhari, Muslim)

Forgiveness of Sins and Doors of Paradise Opened:
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:

"Whoever fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, his past sins will be forgiven." (Bukhari, Muslim)

During Ramadan, the gates of Paradise are opened, and the gates of Hellfire are closed.

Attaining Taqwa (Piety & God-consciousness):
The main objective of fasting is to increase Taqwa, which keeps a person away from sins and closer to righteousness.

Acceptance of Prayers (Dua):
The Prophet (PBUH) said:

"The supplication of a fasting person is never rejected." (Tirmidhi)

Especially at Iftar (breaking of fast), duas are more likely to be accepted.

A Special Gate in Paradise - ‘Ar-Rayyan’:
On the Day of Judgment, there will be a special gate in Jannah (Paradise) called "Ar-Rayyan", through which only those who fasted will enter. (Bukhari, Muslim)

Health Benefits:
Fasting provides rest to the digestive system, regulates blood pressure, helps detoxify the body, and improves mental well-being.

1. Fajr (Dawn Prayer)

Time: From the break of dawn (Subh Sadiq) until just before sunrise.
Total Rakats: 4 (2 Sunnah + 2 Farz)

2. Dhuhr (Noon Prayer)

Time: After the sun passes its zenith until before Asr.

3. Asr (Afternoon Prayer)

The Buddha Dhatu Jadi (Bengali: বুদ্ধ ধাতু জাদি; Burmese: ), commonly known as the Bandarban Golden Temple, is located near Balaghata town in Bandarban City, Bangladesh. The term "Dhatu" refers to the sacred remains of a revered figure, and this temple enshrines relics of Buddha. It is the largest Theravada Buddhist temple in Bangladesh and features the country's second-largest Buddha statue.

The temple follows the Theravada Buddhist tradition, primarily practiced by the Marma indigenous community, one of the predominant ethnic groups in Bandarban. Constructed in 2000, it showcases Arakanese architecture, inspired by traditional Southeast Asian styles.

Locally known as "Kyang," the Buddhist temple is situated in the remote Bandarban Hill District of southeastern Bangladesh, within the Chittagong Division of the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Nestled in the hilly town of Bandarban, the temple is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, including two of the country’s highest peaks—Tajingdong (4,000 feet or 1,200 meters) and Keokeradong (4,632 feet or 1,412 meters)—both covered in dense forests and lush vegetation. The Sangu River meanders through the town, and a picturesque waterfall is located nearby.

Perched atop a 60-meter (200-foot) hill, the temple is approximately 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) from Balaghata town and 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from Bandarban city. Chittagong, often called the "rooftop of Bangladesh" for its scenic beauty, lies about 92 kilometers (57 miles) away. কোর'আন শরীফের সরল বাংলা অনুবাদ

The Oldest Copy of the Quran associated with Caliph Uthman ibn Affan is often referred to as the Mushaf Uthmani (Uthmanic Codex). This refers to the standardized compilation of the Quran that Uthman commissioned around 650 CE to unify the recitation of the Quran across the Muslim world.

Famous Ancient Manuscripts Believed to be Linked to Uthman’s Era

Several ancient Quranic manuscripts are believed to be among the earliest copies, possibly from the time of Uthman or shortly after:

1. Topkapi Manuscript (Turkey)

Kept in the Topkapi Palace Museum, Istanbul.
One of the largest and most complete early Quran manuscripts.
Written in Kufic script, on vellum (parchment made from animal skin).

2. Samarkand Kufic Quran (Uzbekistan)

Preserved in the Telyashayakh Mosque, Tashkent.
Believed to be one of the copies Uthman sent to different regions.
Some traditions say it contains bloodstains, possibly from Uthman when he was assassinated while reading the Quran.

3. Hussaini Quran (Egypt

গড়ায়ু রাত্রির গাজীর পুঁথি

শুনিতে চাহিনা আর

একবুক সোনালী আশা

ভয়ানক ভাল লাগা পিপাসা মিটায়

বোন্মিং হয় দূরে বহুদূরে

হাসিতে মুক্তা ঝরে

চাদর গায়ে জরসড় গ্যান্দা হচ্ছিস যেন ?
আরে ভাই ছলিমুদ্দী হাদে কি আর দড়
সর্বাঙ্গে ধরেছে জার শীত পড়েছে বড়।

দেখনা আমি প্যান্ট পড়েছি চাদর দিছি গায়
জারের কি আর সাধ্য আছে আমার নগল পায়
তোর মত ভাই প্যান্ট চাদর আমার যদি থাকত
তা হলে কি আর জারের কাঁপন আমার গায়ে লাগত।
প্যান্ট পড়তাম শক্ত করে চাদর দিতাম মুড়ি
ঢাকা শহর ঘুইরা দেখতাম বুকে দিয়া তুড়ি।
