In this episode, I take you along on two interesting gigs - first a long bus ride up to Lake George, NY - a great resort town where I march in a huge Fireman's convention parade with the Tappan Zee Bridgemen, then a long drive south to Wildwood, NJ where I officiated a wedding. Topics include multiple units of the band, Six Flags Great Escape, marginal placenta previa, changing the baby's "due" date, Jacob Celebrity Fashion Show and the Boys & Girl's Club, camping in Wildwood in 1989, had a video gig in Queens, drove through 4 out of the 5 boroughs of New York City, scouting the beach, Ontario license plates in Wildwood, enormous Ferris wheel, The Skyscraper, don't go to Seaside, finding a fenced pathway up a sand dune, Jacob's iPod Touch takes better pictures than my phone, waiting to hear back from a famous actor for "The Miracle Man," putting investment documents together, a brief review of the latest CD from "Weird Al" Yankovic, "Alpocalypse," I may start a new regularly published podcast on the Law of Attraction. Today's topics include turning the radio down through toll booths, April Fool's Day idea for next year, this year I changed my Facebook profile name to Sherman Nyrphryeizhenyrphglergryr and lost 10 friends (but gained one back), soon approaching an Academy Award winner to play Morris Goodman for "The Miracle Man," baby names for Boy #2, Pinky Dinky Doo and her Little Brother Tyler, Big Kev's Geek Stuff, Exposed with Kay and Abi, The Tobolowsky Files, Neal from Ireland in Newark, mailing the rest of the Miracle Man t-shirts, meeting up with Manny the Mailman, Kati's participation in last year's Out of the Darkness Overnight walk in Boston, walking slower is a harder workout, issues being a suicide survivor, warning signs of suicide, Revolutionary War reenactment, getting stuck in traffic on Christmas for the reenactment of Washington's Crossing, visiting center, losing the Blue Dot Trail, air raid sirens, random telephone pole in the middle of a field, living in Lancaster, PA, Spring House, burrito lunch at Gabriel's II pizzeria, correction to BJS002: learning disability is not considered to be related in any way with VACTERL association.

MAKE A DONATION FOR THE OUT OF THE DARKNESS OVERNIGHT WALK AT: http://tinyurl.com/ootdobj

Goodman.

Morris Goodman was a successful insurance salesman. So successful, he bought himself his own airplane. On March 10, 1981, his during first solo flight in his new craft, the engine stopped, and he crashed the plane, crushing his spine, leaving him unable to walk, talk, swallow, breathe or move any part of his body except for his eyes. His doctors believed he would live a short, meaningless life, if he survived at all.

Morris had different plans...

What Morris had was his mind, and his faith that one day he would walk out on his own two feet, and make a full recovery, no matter what his doctors told him. Using the same step-by-step, goal-oriented approach he took in his career, Morris began to calculate the steps he needed to make toward recovery. He set a goal to be home by Christmas of that same year. He succeeded before Thanksgiving, just eight months after the accident...

If you have ever seen "The Secret," you'll know his amazing story. If you haven't, you can see a clip of Morris telling his story in it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfKn92klPeU

You can also view clips from a short film that was made in the 1980's and learn more about Morris on his own site at http://themiracleman.org

I have interviewed Morris E. Goodman and have the rights to his story for a motion picture. I need development funds for legal fees, casting fees, professional script consultants, budget analyses, festival and contest submissions, travel expenses and more.

I firmly believe this film will not only entertain, but also encourage people to evaluate their own lives and take the steps they need to take to achieve their goals. After all, this is exactly what Morris' story has done for me.

Won't you help bring this uplifting tale to the big screen and inspire millions worldwide? I firmly believe this film will not only entertain, but also encourage people to evaluate their own lives and take the steps they need to take to achieve their goals. After all, this is exactly what Morris' story has done for me. Won't you help bring this uplifting tale to the big screen and inspire millions worldwide?
