Marcos Mateu-Mastre has worked in the animation film industry for over 20 years, working on such films as The Prince of Egypt, Penguins of Madagascar, How to Train your dragon 2, Turbo, Puss in Boots, Surf's Up and many more. About 80% of his family are artists. When he was 9 years old he was given an Andrew Loomis book by his grandfather who is also an artist. People that I talk to that have worked with him say that he's the best at what he does. They say that he's absolutely amazing. And when I say "they" I mean people like Paul Lasaine or Nathan Fowkes. Artist that are at the top of their game themselves!

Bobby first knew of his guest as his internet handle ‘Black Frog’ and was blown away by his work. Eventually Bobby met Igor-Alban Chevalier in person. A very kind and humble artist that you probably would never realize can paint, draw at such a high level. This is a story of how hardship and persistance can overcome many obstacles. From starting off living in squats in London to working on major films and video games, Igor accounts his artistic journey and the lessons he learned along the way.

While working at Pixar Bobby began teaching on the side and it was here that he refound his passion! At the time of this interview, I had just been introduced to Robert Kondo. Before this I only knew of him through his amazing art and reputation for being awesome. Many know of Robert for his work and art direction Ratatouille, Toy Story 3 and Monsters University. Others know him as the Oscar nominated short film maker and co-founder of Tonko House, with fellow former Pixar art director, Dice Tsutsumi. And others still know him as an incredible teacher.
