Coinciding with the announcement, the band have unveiled their vibrant new single, Cowboy on Aisle Three - a track that perfectly encapsulates their delightfully off-kilter sound through kaleidoscopic synths and infectious hooks. Speaking on the new single, the band's frontman Harry Hanson says - “I came up with the idea when I was in Lidl. I’m sure everyone has thought, ‘Imagine if I just went nuts now,’ to get out of doing the big shop.” Watch the video for Cowboy On Aisle Three below.

Tour Dates

JUL
3 – Estonia, Tartu - Tartu Punch Festival
18 – Belgium, Dour, Dour Festival
24 – UK, Suffolk - Latitude Festival
25 – UK, Oxfordshire, Truck Festival

AUG
7 – Germany, Haldern Pop Festival
8 – Luxembourg, Rotondes
21-22 – UK, Brecon Beacons, Greenman Festival
28 – UK, Cumbria - Krankenhouse Festival
29 – UK, Suffolk, Maui Festival

SEP
4 – UK, Wiltshire, End Of The Road Festival
5 – UK, Manchester, Psych Festival
6 – UK, Edinburgh, Psych Festival

OCT
3 – UK, Darwen - Neotribe, Sunbird Records
13 – UK, Cardiff, Club Ifor Bach !
14 – UK, Bristol, Thekla !
16 – UK, Sheffield, Crookes Social Club ^
17 – UK, Birmingham, Future Days Festival
18 – UK, Cambridge, Mash ^
19 – UK, Oxford, Bullingdon ^
22 – UK, Nottingham, Rescue Rooms *
23 – UK, Glasgow, King Tuts *
24 – UK, Newcastle, The Grove *
27 – UK, Brighton, Chalk ^
28 – UK, London, Scala ~ *
30 – UK, Leeds, Project House % ~ *
31 – UK, Manchester, Gorilla ^

NOV
5 – Iceland, Reykjavic - Iceland Airwaves Festival
6 – France, Paris - Le Chinois
8 – France, Lille - Aeronef
10 – Belgium, Brussels - Botanique
11 – Haldern Pop Bar, Haldern, Germany
12 – Netherlands, Amsterdam - Tolhuistuin
13 – German, Hamburg - Betty
14 – Denmark, Copenhagen - Loppen
16 – Cafe V Lese, Prague, Czech
17 – Germany, Berlin - Kantine Am Berghain
19 – Merlin, Nijmegen, Netherlands
20 – Vera, Groningen, Netherlands
25 – Ireland, Dublin - The Grand Social
26 – Ireland, Ulster, - Sports Club
27 – Ireland, Galway - Róisín Dubh
29 - Ireland, Limerick - Dolans

Supports
! Frontwoman Eliann Tulve shared the following about the track: “I saw a tough dancer at a party and developed a heavy crush on their moves. The night was slow & quiet so we went on a drive. As we passed another CircleK on the road I realise they’re a dry companion and it’s time to go home. Taken from the band's self-titled debut album, due out 7th August 2026, the track captures the highs and lows of modern romance, wrapping its heartfelt lyricism in a rich blend of melodic guitars and swoon-worthy vocals. “Cocodamol” explores loose love in party culture,” reveals Parker. “Friends-with-benefits, emotional placeholders, intimacy without permanence. It’s about waking up beside someone and being their painkiller: easing the physical hangover while ignoring the emotional one.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
<iframe allow="accelerometer; After six nights of standout performances, there could hardly have been a more fitting act to close than Royel Otis, as the annual summer series wrapped up another stellar year.

Four years could feel like a lifetime for a band on the rise, and a great deal has changed since I last saw the Australian duo tucked away on the line-up at Cardiff's Sŵn Festival back in 2022.

With just a handful of EPs to their name at the time, they've since released two critically acclaimed albums, toured globally, sold out shows, and packed out festival tents as they've grown into one of indie's most compelling live acts. Something that was clear to see as the crowd packed in whilst the band dispensed with any sense of ceremony before they got straight to business.

Opener i hate this tune was quick to set the pace as it crashed into Adored, before Heading for the Door and who’s your boyfriend followed in quick succession, setting the tone for a set that rarely paused for breath.

Songs flowed seamlessly into one another, each transition more effortless than the last as the band maintained a relentless pace throughout. It gave the set a thrilling sense of momentum as they rode a wave of indie-pop euphoria that refused to let up.

Newer material from hickey slotted comfortably alongside older favourites, underlining just how confidently the band had expanded their catalogue. Car shimmered with effortless charm, while Kool Aid had the entire amphitheatre swaying before erupting into one of the loudest singalongs of the night.

Elsewhere, Foam and Come On Home highlighted the duo’s knack for pairing hazy indie-pop textures with undeniable hooks, their laid-back delivery belying just how tightly constructed the songs were.

Thankfully, the weather had cooled slightly following the previous week’s heatwave, but there was still a warm, scintillating atmosphere in the air as their sun-drenched, jangle-heavy sound lit up the shimmering industrial backdrop and concrete skyline.

As polished as the set was, the evening’s most memorable moments came from spontaneity. During Linger, Royel Otis invited a fan named Abby onto the stage to share vocals, turning their now-beloved cover of The Cranberries into an unforgettable highlight. Elsewhere, an impromptu on-stage proposal unfolded, prompting a heartfelt response from the band, who dedicated Sofa King to the newly engaged couple. An extra layer of significance to an already fan favourite moment.

With the words “This is a song we didn’t write” flashed onscreen, one of the night’s many playful quips (alongside “Show us your croooked teeth”), their cover of Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Murder on the Dancefloor once again proved irresistible, transforming the disco classic into their own.

"This is our last song Bristol", Otis announced ahead of say something. But fans weren't easily fooled. Returning for a two-track encore, the band rewarded the audience’s energy with the soaring Sweet Hallelujah before closing on fan favourite Oysters in My Pocket - a track that had clearly grown alongside them.

“I Wanna Dance with You”? Royel Otis need not have asked earlier in the set; the crowd’s reaction had already shown they had them firmly in the palm of their hand. A masterclass in high-energy, tightly constructed set-listing, and a reminder of just how far they'd come. The question now: where next for a band already commanding stages of this size with such ease?

Setlist
01. i hate this tune
02. Adored
03. Heading for the Door
04. who’s your boyfriend
05. car
06. Kool Aid
07. Foam
08. moody
09. come on home
10. shut up
11. she’s got a gun
12. more to lose
13. jazz burger
14. Linger (The Cranberries cover)
15. Motels
16. I Wanna Dance with You
17. Bull Breed
18. Fried Rice
19. Sofa King
20. Murder on the Dancefloor (Sophie Ellis-Bextor cover)
21. say something

Encore
22. Sweet Hallelujah
23. Oysters in My Pocket

Taken from the forthcoming EP Something Infinite, set for release on July 17th via Hunger/Polydor Records, the track serves as a thrilling introduction to her sound, pairing soaring pop hooks with irresistibly infectious choruses. Speaking on the single, she shares: “Radio show felt like me really finding my sound. While I was writing it I couldn’t stop smiling, I just knew it was special. Woodroe have burst on to the scene with news of their debut EP The Treatment of Fracture, due out 18th via Venn Records (High Vis, thistle., Opal Mag, Night Swimming). With lead single Sweetness, Sweetness, the band deliver a thrilling preview of what’s to come, as snarling basslines and charging energy surge to the forefront of the track’s infectious sound. Speaking about the single, frontwoman Marcie Garwell stated: “It’s a song about many things -weakness, identity, acquiescence, confusion...the poison you drink to not make a fuss. It’s a pipe bomb sent to order, hate mail addressed to compromise, yet it’s indecisive in all its threats and feelings -never sure of where it lies.” Listen below.
<iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="360" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/2kojuy2NdPM" title="M. Here, ‘The Table’ sees the band charge ahead with gritty vocals and waves of swirling guitars as increasingly commanding vocal harmonies take the lead. Speaking about the single, the band share: “‘The Table’ is the first song we wrote for the album. It was written in part about a relationship that is falling apart and in part about our experiences as women in the music industry. We’ve been playing it live for a while now but it’s one that’s evolved and changed quite a bit over time. We’ve been lucky enough to be able to tour and play live in so many amazing places over the last few years, and it’s nice to think that this song has been shaped a little by all of those experiences.” Listen below.

<iframe allow="accelerometer; A fitting statement of intent, the track ushers in the band’s next chapter with powerful guitar work and choruses designed to stick. Describing the track, the band’s vocalist James Smith explains, “New Beginnings is a bit of light to counteract the dark we led with [Redeemer]. Sometimes we've already shed our old skin without even realising it's happening. Celebrate the new, because you can't go back.” Take a listen below.

To coincide with the album’s release, the band will head out on a new six date UK in-store+ out-store tour, kicking off on 15th

Written about home, identity and connection, the track's punchy melodies and buzzing choruses give another exciting glimpse in to what lays ahead this year. On the new single, total tommy shares - "There’s a picture of Winona Ryder that I’d seen where she’s on a bike outside a block of high rise buildings, and the imagery of that inspired me so much of how small we all are in the expanse of a city. How it’s easy to lose your identity when you’re not surrounded by the people who really know you, and how we subconsciously shape shift to fit our environments." Take a listen below.

i: https://www.instagram.com/total_tommy/

Phoebe Green - There’s Always Someone Kicking The Seat

Ahead of the weekend, Phoebe Green returned with her scintillating new single, There’s Always Someone Kicking The Seat - taken from the new album PREMATURE NOSTALGIA, released 2nd October via The Green Dream Machine / Absolute. Opening with spoken-word observations, the track gradually gives way to its shimmering synth-pop textures and swirling electronics before a wave of emotion washes over. Speaking on the new single release, Phoebe shared: "We wanted
this song to feel extremely visceral, as though the listener is
experiencing the story firsthand; it was written in a similar way to
‘Reinvent’ lyrically where I just wanted to get an experience off my
chest and melodically nothing fit, so I ended up just talking. It’s
maybe my only proper break-up song, and Lucy really beautifully
encapsulated the chaotic emotional journey sonically. It felt really
fitting for the verses to feel quite matter of fact, recounting events,
then melancholic choruses followed by a cathartic outro." Take a listen below.

Live Dates
12 July - Stockport, Holy Diver

i: https://www.instagram.com/ph0ebegreen

Man/Woman/Chainsaw - Get Up and Dance

Credit: James Winstanley

Following their recent singles Nosedive and Goddamn, Lizard Man!, Man/Woman/Chainsaw have shared the latest teaser from their upcoming debut LP in the form of Get Up and Dance. Lifted from Cannonball, due out August 7th via Fiction Records, the song sees Emmie-Mae Avery take the lead on vocals, gradually unfolding from delicate guitar strums into soaring string arrangements. Explaining the track's theme in more detail Emmie-Mae shares: "In my mind it's set in a club, where you spot someone who’s been trying their luck with different people all night and decide to turn the game back on them. It starts playful but then takes a forceful approach, as you push them to prove their interest and test how far they’ll go, aiming to have them make a fool of themselves." Take a listen below.

In support of the album, the band have also announced a series of live in-store dates across the country (buy tickets HERE). The track marks their first new music since the release of their debut album portals/polarities and gives an exciting taste of what else they have to come. Arriving amid swirling synth pads and echoing vocals, the track steadily unfurls into an expansive, blissed-out pop cut, glowing with a radiant sense of release. The track is taken from a brand new deluxe version of their album 'portals/polarities' - set for release July 24th. Led by swirling vocals and chiming guitars, the track emerges as one of the album’s defining moments, chronicling the frustrations of modern dating and the pursuit of real connection, as the band explain: “A lot of our friends are struggling to find romance. They’re looking for community and connection, but finding dull hinge dates and poor communication. Endless choice and fragmented society in cities can leave people feeling isolated and blaming themselves. When writing 'made for love' we wanted to show that if everyone feels like they can’t find love, it’s probably the fault of tech companies and a rise in the sales of DJ equipment. The news comes accompanied by her latest single Close, a track that depicts the addictive nature of unhealhty love. “Close is a song that is actually very much about an unhealthy form of love,” néomí explains. “The push and pull relationship where you don’t want to be together but also don’t want to let go. It is about desperately holding on, going back and forth with each other’s emotions. Think about avoidant/anxious attachment styles, bound to be together. Love can feel like a drug when it is felt like that, as if you can’t live without each other so that’s the reason why you have to stay close. “I’d advise you to let go instead of holding on but, love is a powerful thing, and the heart wants what it wants I suppose… luckily we have songwriting to cope with that haha. I hope, but also don’t hope you connect to the song.” Take a listen below.
<iframe allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" frameborder="no" height="166" Blending grunge aesthetics with snarling punk energy, the track hits with a blistering intensity and offers another thrilling taste of what’s to come. Vocalist and guitarist Jack Leavey comments: "This song is about the desperate lengths people go to in an effort to save a relationship. “I’ll call you daily / hold you tightly / ring your bell like Keira Knightley" [a reference to the movie Love Actually]. It’s about a relationship I had that started off being incredibly exciting and loving but then slowly devolved into jealousy, desperation and resentment. “Our flirtations undeciding / I’m not sure if he’s just a friend / something’s different, why are you crying / is this about to end?” Sonically we wanted to push the dial out from what we’ve previously released and give people a new flavour of Basht. and a hint of what’s to come." Take a listen below.

Live Dates
Jun 20 - TRNSMT, UK
Deriving its name from 'The Wedding Cake', the nickname for Stockport’s Town Hall where band member Tom Ogden got married, the LP was recorded to tape at Tilehouse Studios and produced by Shawn Lee, set to be released 2nd October 2026, and is available to pre-order now. You can take a listen to their latest single below along with a teaser video for the band's upcoming Arena tour dates where they'll be joined by The Royston Club. Speaking about the latest single, Tom says: ‘“Meet Me In Love” was written on a songwriting trip to the Lake District with Natalie Findlay and Jules Apollinaire. As often happens, it was the last day and we’d pretty much accepted that there probably weren’t any more songs left to write. We started messing around with a simple two chord disco groove and, within a couple of hours, the whole thing seemed to fall into place. It’s one of those songs that felt exciting from the moment it arrived. I remember driving home from the Lakes listening to the demo on repeat for most of the journey. We later finished the recording with Shawn Lee at Tilehouse Studios, tracking live to tape, but a lot of what made us fall in love with the song in the first place came from that original demo, so plenty of those parts survived onto the final record.’

'Songs From The Wedding Cake' - Tracklist
1. Inspired by the concept of a living wake, making the most of the time you have and celebrating your journey, the track is a call to action about choosing to show up to those around you. Speaking on the new single, Jack Cochrane says: “I wanted to write a track that detailed a conscious decision to live and love more. To take life less seriously and dilute ego as often as possible. ‘Defibrillator’ is a song that celebrates the collective and trivialises the sludgy worries of being alive.” Take a listen below.

JOY IN SHORT MOMENTS - TRACKLIST
Written amid a period of transition and grief, the track sees its emotional weight swell through expansive pop production and a commanding vocal delivery. "This song is about the ever-present longing I have for my father," Charlotte explains. "He absolutely loved being in the sun and being as tanned as humanly possible. Whenever I picture him, he's in the garden, covered in factor 15, with a glass of whiskey by his feet and a border collie by his side. I wanted the song to carry a sense of optimism, because that's how he always was when summer was around the corner, knowing that tan would soon be his again. It felt important to hold onto that lightness alongside everything else. It's about not knowing what to do with all the love you still have for someone. Not knowing how to handle grief, and finding yourself replaying conversations that will forever feel unfinished." Take a listen below.

i: https://www.instagram.com/charlotteocofficial

Kamran Khan - 'Daddy, Just Like You'

Today sees London pop wunderkind Kamran Khan return with his dazzling new single Daddy, Just Like You, taken from his debut album ‘I Came From Nowhere & Nowhere Is Where I Am Going’, set for release September 25th via AWAL. Melting distorted guitar textures with anthemic melodic energy, the track serves as a powerful introduction to the music still on the horizon. Singer and lyricist, Joe says: “It can take a heavy toll on your mental health to process all the negative emotions we feel about the inequality and suffering we see around the world. Our anger shouldn’t be repressed though, and we still feel we must continue to tackle the same issues we’ve talked about in the past. The music is different on this track, but it’s still about wealth inequality, racial hate and animal rights to name a few but, this time, it’s through a wider range of emotions than solely anger.” Take a listen below.

Live dates
Fri 26 June: Rossendale, Gather Festival
Fri 3 July: Manchester, The Abbey
Sat 25 July: London, Bad Vibrations
Sun 30 August: Chester, Alexanders
Fri 4 September: London, The Lexington
Thu 24 September: London, Shacklewell Arms
Wed 7 October: Salford, Beyond The Music
Fri 22 – Sun 24 October: Rotterdam, Left of The Dial
Sat 31 October: Bristol, The Louisiana

i: https://www.instagram.com/hollyhead.band

Ebbb - 'Side On' (Official Video)

London trio Ebbb are back with their brand-new single, Side On.
