Biryani is a mixed rice dish popular in south India, it is made with rice, meat like chicken, goat , beef or seafood like fish prawns and spices. To cater to vegetarians, vegetables can be substituted for the meat or seafood. Sometimes egg or papad are also added.

Biryani is one of the most popular dishes among the south India Similar dishes are also prepared in Thalassery, Hyderabadi, calicut biryani. As well as this food one of the favorite dish espicially, A flavorful rice dish made with aromatic spices, basmati rice, and marinated meat or vegetables.

-Hyderabadi biryani: it is classic version from Hyderabad,Telegana.And rich varitey of flavours like hyderabadi masalas

-Thalassery biryani- A popular version from thalassery,kerala known for its unique blend of spices and flavourful meat or seafood.

Desserts

Indian cuisine offers a wide range of delicious desserts. Dessert consist of varition of tatstes, textures and appearence. In indian festival like diwali, holi,janmashtami and dussehra etc. Lots of sweet desert like mysore pak , jangri, payasam, ladoo are share to the neighbours and cousins.They are key part of festival and celebration, and often offered to gods in temples. Every Indian people share this dessert in special event or festivals.

- Gulab Jamun: Deep-fried dumplings soaked in a sweet, syrupy sauce flavored with rosewater and cardamom.

- Jalebi: Crunchy, fermented batter fried and soaked in a sweet syrup.
