After a colorful introduction in 1970's Philadelphia, Liberty Belle is promptly whisked into a portal from whence two of the Legion of Superheroes' greatest Legionnaires had emerged moments earlier. Before a moment's chance to parse the existential crisis she finds herself thrust into, Libby is aboard the personal space jogger of Querl Dox, alias "Brainiac 5".

Brainy focused on piloting the spacecraft, mustering the tolerance needed not to snap as his comrade Roxx Krinn as she props her silver boots up right atop a panel of controls. The haughty cosmic star athlete of course fits the part to a tee, investing the journey's conversation time in stories of herself and her epic playbook on the Magno-Ball court.

It's the equivalent of white noise, as Libby's mind races with awe and wonder before the spectacle she is treated to. What is fundamentally "normal" for her new allies is quite simply the most sensational ride of her life.

The threat of Degaton, and his use of chronite, bubbles tensely beneath the surface however, as his villainy is the common denominator now uniting the heroes of past and future.

A Cross-Century Stare-Down

Liberty Bell's investigation of "chronite", a cosmic form of matter that influences the potency of certain objects, timelines and experiences, leads her to a dockside warehouse. She is suddenly interrupted by the opening of a portal .. of all things .. nearby. And sure enough, out steps Legionnaires Brainiac 5 (with Koko, naturally) and Cosmic Girl.

Degaton's tampering with the space/time continuum has evidently attracted the attention of the guardians of the future, too. But the initial greeting is anything but a rite of fellow-superhero pleasantry.

Roxx's youthful, star-athlete arrogance is quickly showcased as she stares down her 20th Century rival, an athlete of note herself both in an out of patriotic spandex.

"So, you need somebody to ring a bell to power up, is that right, vintage?"

Libby can only mutter back, "Sounds like someone needs to ring your bell .."

It's a bristly, albeit mutually respectful clash of "titans", with Brainy and Koko stuck in the middle. Nonetheless, the terse meeting is a prelude to yet another fantastic voyage into the distant future, where superheroism is celebrated with a reverent nostalgia and sense of legacy. And Liberty Belle will be along for the ride this time.

Booze Babe was not born. She was incorrectly delivered behind a Wetherspoons during a thunderstorm in 1987 after a pallet of discounted lager was struck by experimental government lightning.

Witnesses described “a sort of patriotic fizzing.”

For several years she wandered Britain unnoticed, blending perfectly into bus queues, closed arcades, and regional shopping centres. Her powers first emerged after consuming seventeen fluorescent blue alcopops during a charity darts tournament in Croydon. CCTV footage showed her briefly achieving orbit around a fruit machine before crashing into a promotional display for pork scratchings.

Scientists later confirmed that Booze Babe possesses the unique ability to convert emotional disappointment directly into low-grade superpowers.

These include:

telepathic karaoke
enhanced pub carpet navigation
temporary invulnerability after 11PM
the ability to summon loose change from impossible places
heat vision, but only for kebab shops

Her greatest weakness is “having a productive morning.”

Booze Babe now patrols Britain’s town centres armed only with courage, fishnet tights, and a bottle of suspiciously radioactive lager. Though feared by local authorities and banned from several chain restaurants, she remains a symbol of national resilience.

Or at very least, a symbol of “still being technically upright.”

look, I know that Splendid f**** up at his job as a superhero, but if he truly were an antihero, he would have just looked at Giggles corpse smiling instead of feeling scared, which proves that he's a true superhero cuz he knows that he makes mistakes and he feels empathy for that. and Mando can say what they want, if he truly was an antihero he wouldn't have sacrificed himself to save Earth in better off bread or interact with his fans or stop every robbery that shifting Lefty caused in episodes of Happy Tree friends. I mean people let's be real, all of our favorite superheroes like batman, Spider-Man, superman, and even Hellboy had made the same mistakes that Splendid had, they felt empathy for that, and we still call them heroes. we should look at Splendid in the same light. all company confirmations are all #fake, Splendid is a superhero not an anti-hero, Mondo should take that back and admit that he's a real hero. feature if you agree.

Inspired by Nighthawk (Marvel), Owlman (DC), and Critiques of the Batman Universe

Past: Character A originates from a reality where justice is a commodity. As a brilliant but cynical billionaire, he realized that the city’s traditional protectors were actually perpetuating a cycle of violence to maintain their own relevance. He designed a suit—vibrant orange paired with a dark, regal cape—to mock the "somber" aesthetics of other vigilantes while providing superior protection.

Present: He uses his vast resources to actively sabotage other "heroes," believing their existence creates the very villains they fight. His cowl is a masterpiece of engineering, featuring feathered scaling and pointed "stiff-feather" protrusions that aid in night vision and radar. A) Traditional DC style, inspired by Batman, Owlman, and Peacemaker

Origin Story

He grew up in the United States after losing his family to a crime he couldn’t stop as a kid. Instead of letting it break him, he trained his body and mind to the peak of human ability. He studied detective work, martial arts, engineering, and psychology, learning that fear and preparation are tools, not weaknesses.

He also took in a kid who had lost his own family to the same streets. For a few years, they worked together. When that kid died saving civilians, it broke him - but it also made him vow never to let another young partner walk that road alone. He later became a mentor figure to another kid who reminded him why he started.

Raised in a facility with no family and constant monitoring, he escaped at 17. The orange and black suit is a tactical system he built to channel his aggression into something useful. The cowl fuses dragon scale plating with owl-feather tufts, designed to look monstrous and break up his outline in low light. It’s a psychological tool - criminals fear it, and it helps him keep distance from the person he was before.

He started as a brutal enforcer, using extreme methods because he believed that was the only way to stop worse people. He didn’t care about collateral damage, because he’d been taught that was weakness.

Origin Story

He was a security specialist in the United States who lost his partner and protege during a failed operation. In the aftermath, he was recruited by a shadow organization that wanted to create an “alternate” to the city’s main hero - someone willing to do what they wouldn’t.

He rejected their goal of making him a controllable weapon. Instead, he took their tech and built his own gear. The orange and black suit evolved as he learned to balance visibility and stealth. The cowl fuses scale-like plating with owl-feather tufts, meant to echo both predator and silent hunter. He has no powers, no advanced healing, no mystical link. His edge is preparation, psychology, and the willingness to operate in places others won’t go.

Unlike the organization’s original plan, he refuses to kill and refuses to become a mirror of the criminals he fights. He’s a critique of the idea that fighting darkness means becoming it.
