1669 - Absolutely Marvelous

So, I bought my first comic book in over seven years. Udon's Mega Man X #3 is a very good read. While I enjoyed the Archie Comics run, I feel this series has a much better understanding of X's character and handles the subject matter in a way that's more in line with the games' continuity. Plus, the lack of Ian Flynn means there's no cringey, self-referential humour or meme-driven writing.

I think I'll be sticking with manga for the time being — currently on Persona 5 Vol. 3 — as well as indie comics, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this Udon run in particular.

Onto the subject at hand.

I'm reminded of something Jeff Bridges once said: 'Just because you have an idea, doesn't mean it belongs to you.'

I still maintain my total and complete indifference toward superhero comics, but I must confess that I've taken a strong interest in this 'Absolute Universe' concept DC has been experimenting with lately. While the artwork makes Rob Liefeld look like Michelangelo, the reimagining of Batman as an impoverished construction worker rather than a billionaire is a stroke of genius. Plus, Wonder Woman is now basically a 'larping amputee Rhea Ripley who worships Hecate.' Fucking sign me up for all of that!

But wherever DC goes, the House of Stolen Ideas isn't far behind. Marvel took one look at the Absolute Universe and said, in their best Andy Pipkin voice, 'I want that one!' However, it must have been too daunting a task for them to make Spider-Man's life even more miserable than usual, so they said, 'Fuck it!' and fell back on some very tired horror clichés.

You'll have to forgive my uncharitable tone here, but haven't Marvel abused horror themes to death at this point? If I recall correctly, they've already done a vampire-themed event that nobody read, had the Punisher fight a 28 Days Later-inspired Spider-Man, turned Tony Stark into a Lovecraftian Springtrap, let Deadpool kill everyone — including good taste — and pumped out roughly nine billion unreadable Marvel Zombies comics over the years.

I suspect they abandoned the idea of doing an outright copy of Absolute DC because of its core concept: flipping the script on the entire mythology. Absolute DC works because removing key elements such as the Kents, Themyscira, and Bruce Wayne's billions allows DC's Trinity to become more grounded and relatable. Taking characters often compared to gods and dragging them down to a more peasant-like level — forcing them to rely solely on themselves — is a genuine breath of fresh air.

With the exception of Thor, most of 'Earth's Mightiest Heroes' are just ordinary men and women living relatively average lives. You couldn't really do 'Absolute X-Men' because mutants are already an oppressed underclass hunted by humanity. 'Absolute Daredevil' wouldn't work either, because Matt Murdock is already at war with the highly privileged crime lord known as the Kingpin. And don't even think about trying 'Absolute Spider-Man,' because Peter Parker is practically the textbook definition of a man down on his luck with the entire world against him.

If Marvel truly wanted to do a direct copy of the concept, it would make far more sense to use characters like Thor, Doctor Doom, Iron Man, Black Panther, or even Captain Marvel. But we'll come back to that later.

I might be alone in this line of thinking, but there's really no point in Marvel doing an 'Absolute Marvel' because they already did it back in 2005 — it was called House of M. Think about it: one of the villains creates their own universe that rewrites all the rules, where the villains rule the planet and the heroes are either downtrodden or trapped in seriously compromising positions. Stop me if this sounds familiar and all, but while Marvel used it as a simple multi-book event, DC seems to have run with the idea as if to say, 'Hey, those last nine ideas you had were complete dogshit, but I'll borrow this good one and do my own thing with it!'

Also, why would Marvel even need their own version of Absolute DC when they already had something similar with the Ultimate Universe? It was doing quite well, had plenty of positive word of mouth, and finally gave us a Spider-Man with a — gasp — HAPPY LIFE.

'No!' says the man at Marvel. 'He's only allowed to be miserable!'

So now it's out with a fairly successful Ultimate Universe and in with something nobody really asked for: the 'Midnight Universe.' I guess calling it 'Absolutely Pointless' would've been a little too on the nose.

Why was any of this needed? Well, as I always say: 'MAKE THE THING INTO THE THING THAT MAKES MONEY!'"

So now, you too can enjoy such 'highly original concepts' as Midnight X-Men. It's the X-Men... but they're vampires now. Woah! Slow down, Marvel. I'm being blown away by all this Treehouse of Horror shite you're farting in my direction.

As I alluded to earlier, they already did a vampire event back in 2024. Not to mention, Wolverine & Jubilee was probably the best vampiric story they've ever made, rendering most future attempts at the genre completely pointless. What? I liked that book. Screw you!

It honestly feels like they took an X-Men script and performed a simple find-and-replace edit that swaps out 'Mutant' for 'Vampire' — in much the same way I'd swap out 'Champion of the People' with 'Bloated Simpleton' while writing Angry Joe's autobiography.

But seriously... Vampire X-Men? Really?

What's next? Power Pack as werewolves? The Avengers as ghosts? Or the Inhumans as something people actually care about?

Oh, but wait — we also have Midnight Fantastic Four, where Reed Richards is apparently some kind of Cthulhu cult leader...

Yeah, I'm not even going to dignify that with a response. Next!

Last, but certainly not least, we have Midnight Spider-Man, which honestly just sounds like Man-Spider: The Comic. This title feels more in line with Absolute DC's style of thinking, but I'm completely burned out on the whole 'How can we make Peter Parker miserable this time?' approach. It's honestly the main reason I stopped reading Spider-Man comics in the first place. He's my favourite superhero of all time, and I eventually got tired of seeing him treated like Marvel's personal whipping boy. At a certain point, it stopped feeling like storytelling and started feeling like a challenge to make his life progressively worse with every passing year. Having him turned into some freaky werespider experiment honestly just feels kinda boring and very 'been there, done that.'

If Marvel absolutely has to present its characters in an Absolute Universe-style setting, then here are two ideas free of charge.

Absolute Iron Man.

The events of Tony Stark's early career play out mostly as normal: captured by terrorists, builds a suit to escape, becomes a hero. However, in this timeline, he's never rescued by the American military, but instead discovered by a simple shepherd. The man takes Tony in, treats his wounds, and helps him repair the damaged Mark I armour using parts scavenged from the destroyed tanks and jeeps that attacked his village.

With the rest of the world believing him dead, Tony takes his crude suit and begins tearing apart the corruption poisoning his new surroundings. The locals begin referring to the monstrous figure assaulting warlords and terrorists alike as 'Rajul Hadidiun' — The Iron Man.

This eventually catches the attention of powerful tycoons such as Obadiah Stane, Justin Hammer, and Norman Osborn, who, in this timeline, are secretly Hydra sleeper agents. Tony — now equipped with a far more monstrous interpretation of the Mark III armour — smuggles himself back into America and begins dismantling their entire operation piece by piece.

During a raid on a Hydra facility, he discovers Bucky Barnes preserved in deep freeze and rescues him. Replacing Bucky's severed arm with scrap parts and salvaged machinery from the facility, Tony jokingly dubs him his very own 'War Machine.'

Absolute Doom.

Instead of being the techno-wizard monarch of Latveria, he is simply an impoverished immigrant known only as 'Victor.' Despite his intelligence and ingenuity, he is constantly looked down upon by both his peers and the wider public — thanks in no small part to the bombastic rhetoric of President Reed Richards and his constant warnings about 'people like him.'

After his face is disfigured during a race riot, Victor forms a guerrilla movement known as LATVERIA — which, in this universe, is a Romani word meaning 'hope.' He adopts a far more militaristic and urbanised interpretation of his classic armour: less green cloaks and tunics, more hoodies, tactical gear, and body armour.

As Victor commits acts of terrorism and civil unrest, he simultaneously challenges President Richards' xenophobia and violent rhetoric by exposing his arrogance, hypocrisy, and unchecked hubris. He even mocks the death of Richards' brother-in-law, Johnny Storm — who died after crashing into a gas truck while drink-driving — sarcastically referring to him as 'The Human Torch' in the process.

Richards eventually brands him 'Victor Von Doom' — inventing a more theatrical and threatening name to rile up his gullible supporters — and officially declares him Public Enemy Number One. The task of apprehending him falls to Richards' Minister of War: Benjamin Grimm.

That's basically the core idea behind Absolute DC: changing one key aspect of a character in a way that fundamentally shifts the entire dynamic into darker territory.

No vampires or Cthulhu required.

Power Girl in Space

Power Girl, also known as Kara Zor-L, first soared into DC Comics in 1976, created by Gerry Conway, Ric Estrada, and Wally Wood. She was introduced as the Earth-2 counterpart to Supergirl, a powerful hero from a parallel dimension. Over the decades, her story evolved—most notably in the 2000s, when Amanda Waller and Cadmus played a key role. In this arc, Cadmus, the clandestine government project, experimented with Kryptonian DNA, seeking to replicate or enhance superhuman abilities. Some versions of Power Girl's origin tie her directly to these experiments—a heroine not just from another Earth, but shaped by humanity’s quest for power. This my tribute to the men who created her I decided to go with a yellow cape because I wanted her to stand out I also gave her a little more exaggerated proportions.

Origin Story:

“Oh my gosh! Hi! First of all, thank you for interviewing me. I’m a huge fan of the magazine!

I grew up watching wrestling with my dad, and my two best friends, Fox Morgan (of Foxy & The Firecats fame) and Mina Honey. We’d gather at my house every night there was wrestling… which was every night there for a little while!

Wrestling wasn’t my passion, though. I went to school for art! I had dreams of working for like Marvel or DC, doing comic books, ha ha!

When Mina and I moved out here, I was lucky enough to meet the incredible Alysha Aylin, who suggested I give pro wrestling a try. She said I had a unique look and a great attitude, and I was a huge fan of hers, so of course I took her advice! How was I gonna’ say no to Alysha of all people?

I joined a wrestling school straight away and started taking on independent bookings anywhere I could! Alysha became my mentor shortly after and started training me.

And now here I am!” - Liza

Breakthrough Moment:

“Oh wow! Great question! So far, my biggest breakthrough moment has to be my television debut. Yes, it was a loss to Alysha (that she teases me about constantly), but it was absolutely incredible! Prior to that match, the biggest crowd I’d wrestled in front of was 500 people. Standing on that stage, feeling those fans cheering… and that’s what it is, really! You feel this wave of sound, the vibration of the building as it rumbles through the stage. Your pyro goes off, and you feel the heat from that…

…it’s breathtaking. Nothing else in the world compares.

I also got pretty close to making her tap out (yeah, I said it Aly!), and that was also really cool. The match was back and forth, and I got way more offense in than I’d expected to, honestly. The whole match, even in loss… with hindsight? Just really, really cool to me.

But the coolest part? Leaving that match with the respect of the crowd, and with the respect of Alysha.

That was incredible.” - Liza

Rivalries:

“Ha ha, oh jeez, you want me to poke the bear? She might hug me!

Victoria, the Iron Maiden, is for sure one of my biggest rivalries. We’ve only had one sanctioned match, but our spars go back and forth till we collapse on the mat. Low key, Vic, if you’re reading this… I could use my back popped!

Also gotta’ include Alysha in this. Little punk. (All love teach!) She’s always teasing me about making me tap out, mostly cause I’ve now famously declared I’ll never tap out again. And I know eventually we’ll have a rematch, and quite frankly, when we do, I plan to kick her ass. (Again, all love!)

Not all my rivalries are friendly ones, though. First of all, there’s a big, overweight, smelly piece of woman-beating trash who calls himself Speedoman cause he’s too dimwitted to think of a better name. He thinks he’s going to entice me to wrestle him, but all he entices me to do is vomit.

Far more dangerous, and far more relevant, is the Queen of Villains herself, Nightshade. We haven’t wrestled… yet… but she’s made it a point to observe me, and I’ve made it a point to run my mouth at her any time I can. At first, I was terrified of her. Genuinely, shaking in my boots, scared as hell.

But I’ve had several encounters with her now. Hell, we even had a drink together. She doesn’t scare me anymore. She intrigues me. Fascinates me. I want to know how her mind works, so when the day comes, and we do step into that ring, I put the Queen of Villains out of everyone else’s misery.” - Liza

Behind the persona:

“Oh, goodness! What do I even say here? Professional sapphic yearner seeking love. I like music, dancing, anything geeky, long walks on the beach…

Oh! Not a personal ad, got it!

Well, I mean, in truth, I’m a queer woman with albinism and heterochromia… all of life has been a struggle. A struggle to prove myself. A struggle to earn respect. A struggle to make new friends, and a struggle to find love.

But!

My folks were incredible, I have amazing friends, and I have made so many new ones since moving out here, and becoming a pro wrestler! These people… they know who they are… it was always in the cards that I’d meet them, and I wouldn’t trade them for the world.” - Liza

Future Plans:

“Well, I plan to work matches in both EWF and elsewhere, build up my experience, and eventually challenge for the EWF Heavyweight Championship! I want to show the world that through LOVE, anything is possible!

Outside the ring, I plan to keep working on being the best me I can be, and hopefully fall in love. That would be awesome!” - Liza

A Multiverse of Half-Naked Amazons

After catching up on several DC comics I felt obligated to catch up on before resuming focus on my other interests (these comics I just finished reading specifically being every Pre-Crisis appearance of Giganta, the Silver Swan and Earth-One Doctor Psycho as well as Dark Knights of Steel and the Elseworlds League of Justice, JLA: Island of Dr. Moreau and JLA: Riddle of the Beast), I've decided to draw various incarnations of Wonder Woman in the DC Universe topless, in some cases accompanied by a relative or ally.

The rest of this description will be a list of the main 52 universes that summarize how things are in the given Earth as well as an explanation for why certain Earths didn't get represented in this pic of Amazon boobies.

Earth-0- Also known as New Earth and Prime Earth, this is the standard version of the DC Universe since the Post-Crisis continuity, where the collapse of the original multiverse in Crisis on Infinite Earths resulted in Earth-One (home of the Silver Age and Bronze Age characters), Earth-Two (home of the Golden Age characters), Earth-Four (Charlton Comics characters), Earth-S (Captain Marvel and other Fawcett heroes) and Earth-X (the Freedom Fighters attempting to turn the tide in a world where the Nazis won World War II) merging into a singular reality where the main effects were that the Justice Society were now the Justice League's precursors in-universe as well as out-of-universe, in addition to there being only one Superman, one Batman and one Wonder Woman.

Further crisis events resulted in significant changes to continuity, with Doomsday Clock revealing that the New 52 era that came after Flashpoint wasn't entirely the fault of the second Flash Barry Allen and Pandora, but were mainly the result of Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen meddling with everything to, among other things, erase the Justice Society and Legion of Super-Heroes from existence, before a climactic battle made him realize what Superman is all about and convinced him to reverse most of the changes.

Since this universe's Wonder Woman is the main incarnation, she is depicted removing her top front and center and is drawn how she is depicted in the current 2023 comic by Tom King, of which I have mixed opinions on (I like the concept of Wonder Woman being a mother now since Batman and Superman have already had their turns becoming parents and I admit being somewhat intrigued by the newest villain the Matriarch, but the concept behind her father the Sovereign seriously breaks my suspension of disbelief and I hope the sub-plot of the Matriarch wiping out all the heroes in the future doesn't overstay its welcome).

Accompanying Diana are Donna Troy/Wonder Girl I/Troia and the most recent Wonder Girl Yara Flor. I could've included Cassie Sandsmark, but I wasn't sure if she ever canonically reached adulthood.

Earth-1- After originating as the designation of the central DC Universe before it was merged with a few other worlds into New Earth, the coordinates were reassigned to a series of graphic novels released in the 2010s that served as grittier revamps of DC Comics characters. Aside from a Teen Titans duology by Jeff Lemire and a Green Lantern duology by Gabriel Hardman and Corinna Bechko, DC's Trinity each fittingly enough got a trilogy, with Superman's written by J. Michael Straczynski, Batman's authored by Geoff Johns and Grant Morrison writing this continuity's Wonder Woman.

The Earth-One graphic novels were ostensibly set in the same continuity, but the only evidence of that is the Earth One graphic novel versions of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman representing Earth-1 in Grant Morrison's The Multiversity.

Earth-2- For the original Golden Age universe, I felt like drawing Earth-Two Diana as aged and accompanied by her daughter Lyta Trevor/Fury (who Post-Crisis is the biological daughter of her retroactive predecessor Helena Kosmatos with an unnamed father and had her surname recontextualized as being due to having Joan Dale/Miss America and her husband Derek Trevor as adoptive parents).

I have nothing against the New 52 Earth 2 series, I just didn't feel like including that continuity's versions of Diana and her daughter.

Earth-3- The universe of the Crime Syndicate, who are evil versions of the Justice League because morality is reversed in their world, so the heroes are villains and vice versa. For Superwoman, I figured it would be fitting to have her deliberately flashing her breasts as opposed to reluctantly posing topless or enthusiastically removing her top for the sake of body positivity.

Earth-4- Home of the Charlton Comics heroes like Blue Beetle, the Question and Captain Atom, which as of The Multiversity has the heroes obtain traits from their stand-in characters in Alan Moore's Watchmen. No known counterpart to Wonder Woman.

Earth-5- A modern version of the Fawcett Comics universe where Captain Marvel and the Shazam Family are the only existing heroes. No known counterpart to Wonder Woman.

Earth-6- The continuity of Just Imagine Stan Lee creating the DC Universe, where the late face of Marvel Comics was tasked with reinterpreting the characters of the DC Universe his own way, many of whom were so drastically changed that they barely had anything to do with their regular counterparts. Wonder Woman in this world is a Peruvian woman named Maria Mendoza who gains divine powers from a golden staff called the Tapac-Yauri.

Earth-7- A pastiche of the original Ultimate Marvel universe that was obliterated by the Gentry during the events of The Multiversity, with an Aboriginal stand-in for The Mighty Thor called the Thunderer being the sole survivor. This world's Wonder Woman counterpart is
Walküre, who is an ersatz of either Valkyrie or Angela.

Earth-8- A pastiche of the standard Marvel Universe, with its main heroes being the Retaliators, who are analogues of the Avengers the same way the Squadron Supreme are Marvel's resident Justice League equivalents. No known counterpart to Wonder Woman.

Earth-9- The Tangent Comics universe. Similar to Just Imagine, the main gimmick here was that the names of preexisting characters were reused for new characters who had little in common with their namesakes, but in this case it was more overt. Wonder Woman here is reimagined as a nearly nude alien woman clad in nothing but some armor that doesn't really cover much of her body (not that she has visible nipples or genitalia anyway). As a consequence of her usual wardrobe choice, she's the only one here who's completely naked.

Earth-10- A world where the Nazis won World War II and a group of heroes called the Freedom Fighters try to fight back against the regime of the New Reichsmen, who are essentially a Nazi Justice League. I omitted Wonder Woman's counterpart Brünhilde because it didn't seem appropriate to include Nazis in this, and I certainly don't want to draw and post anything that can be misconstrued as glorifying fascist and bigoted groups.

Earth-11- Gender-flipped universe. The Wonder Woman counterpart is Dane of Elysium, also known as Wonderous Man (since Marvel already has a Wonder Man), and he was left out because this is strictly a picture devoted to women's breasts and society has pretty much normalized male pectorals at this point. Strangely enough, Grant Morrison's The Green Lantern established a female Wonder Woman existing in this universe, though I consciously left her out due to feeling she was one of Diana's more redundant counterparts and I wanted to use as many distinguished incarnations as possible.

Earth-12- Either the DC Animated Universe or an approximation of it (considering that the Multiversity Guidebook's illustration of this world features the Flash's successor Danica Williams, who only appeared in the 2010s Batman Beyond comics and Bruce Timm, one of the main architects of the DCAU, has stated he doesn't consider the tie-in comics canon, which have scores of inconsistencies to the source material anyway).

Earth-13- A mystical realm of heroes with magic powers. No known Wonder Woman counterpart, though the third Annual of the 1993 Books of Magic comic established a young superhero team called Mystic Youth (essentially a mash-up of the Teen Titans and Tim Hunter and his loved ones and acquaintances), with the member Junior Goddess being a fusion of Tim's love interest Molly O'Reilly and Wonder Girl. Molly did canonically reach adulthood, but I am convinced Junior Goddess is underage, so she's not shown here with bare breasts.

Earth-14- A world where the Justice League are assassins with skull motifs. Didn't feel like drawing this world's Wonder Woman.

Earth-15- A world wiped out by Superboy-Prime during the events of Countdown to Final Crisis (its destruction in fact being one of the only events of Countdown that's considered canon). Didn't feel like drawing this world's Wonder Woman.

Earth-16- A reality TV universe where the heroes are all vapid and shallow. Artemis of Bana-Mighdall is this world's Wonder Woman and I didn't want to use her, as Earth 16 is one of my least favorite universes in the DC Multiverse.

Earth-17- A mash-up of the Justice League and the Atomic Knights (a Silver Age saga about some people clad in suits of armor who struggle to survive a nuclear apocalypse). Given the circumstances, it probably wouldn't be practical for this world's Wonder Woman to expose her breasts.

Earth-18- A world where the Justice League are Wild West gunslingers. This world's Wonder Woman is mashed up with Madame .44 and I didn't feel like drawing her.

Earth-19- Influenced by Batman: Gotham by Gaslight and Wonder Woman: Amazonia, this is a 19th century version of the DC Universe, though lately the Amazonia Wonder Woman has been replaced by an updated 19th century interpretation (which I have little issue with, as it disgusts me that there ever was an official Wonder Woman comic where Diana was raped and Steve Trevor was a misogynistic bastard).

Earth-20- A sort of pulp fiction universe. No known counterpart to Wonder Woman.

Earth-21- The universe of the late Darwyn Cooke's DC: The New Frontier. I like the animated movie and the original comic even more, and I particularly find it amusing that the one-shot made as a tie-in to the movie had a story where Diana beat up some men topless after her breastplate was set on fire, especially since she doesn't realize that kicking the sexist jerks' asses with her tits out isn't exactly sending them the message she intended.

Earth-22- The universe of Mark Waid and Alex Ross's Kingdom Come, depicting an alternate future to the DCU where the Joker is killed by an anti-hero named Magog, resulting in the rise of unscrupulous heroes who use fighting crime as an excuse to be violent and reckless.

Earth-23- A universe where the superheroes are predominantly black, with this world's Superman going by the civilian name Calvin Ellis and also being President of the United States. Wonder Woman in this world is Nubia.

Earth-24- The DC Bombshells universe, which takes inspiration from 1940s pin-ups and consists of an alternate World War II where many of the established heroes are female and LGBTQ+. Diana here is posed like her figurine that references the "We Can Do It" poster with Rosie the Riveter, only now she's directly copying the flex while removing her shirt rather than breaking her shackles.

Earth-25- Initially unidentified, The Terrifics indicates that this world is the universe of Alan Moore's America's Best Comics titles Tom Strong (about a strong and long-lived man with a wife and daughter who share his longevity, a steampunk robot butler who talks using wax cylinder recordings of his father's voice and a talking gorilla with a British accent named Solomon), Top 10 (a police procedural with the twist that the cops and the criminals are all superheroes), Tomorrow Stories (an anthology series) and Promethea (a heroine influenced by Wonder Woman). I don't think I need to explain why Promethea is used as this world's Wonder Woman representation.

Earth-26- Home of Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew, a team of funny animal superheroes. The DC Wiki considers Yankee Poodle a Wonder Woman counterpart (likely the same way Captain Carrot is the Superman equivalent and Fastback is their Flash), and she appears alongside Wonder Wabbit, who is a member of the Just'a Lotta Animals, a more overt version of the Justice League as anthropomorphic animals.

Earth-27- Jurassic League. I had to leave out Wonderdon because I couldn't tell if she was supposed to have breasts or not, nevermind that having sapient dinosaurs coexisting with cavemen is already as unrealistic as it gets.

Earth-28- DC Mech. I just didn't think I'd have enough room for this world's Diana and her mech.

Earth-29- Bizarro Universe. Since Bizarros tend to have everything backwards or opposite, Bizarro Wonder Woman is going bottomless with her chalky white ass and vulva on display.

Earth-30- Superman: Red Son, where Superman was adopted in Soviet Russia and turned out to actually be Lex Luthor's last descendant sent back in time. Didn't feel like drawing this version of Wonder Woman.

Earth-31- Initially the world of Frank Miller's Batman comics, but was recategorized for Chuck Dixon's Leatherwing Elseworld about a pirate Batman and expanded to a pirate-themed DC Universe. I wish I had Captain Wonder's cutlass positioned to cover more of her chest.

Earth-32- A world where the DC characters are mash-ups of each other, influenced by the Elseworld Batman: In Darkest Knight where Bruce Wayne became a Green Lantern instead of Hal Jordan. Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl are merged into Wonderhawk.

Earth-33- This is apparently Earth-Prime (i.e. our world, or at least one where superheroes only exist in comic books and other works of fiction, and home of Superboy-Prime as well as the Threeboot iteration of the Legion of Super-Heroes). No known counterpart to Wonder Woman in this world who's a real person.

Earth-34- A pastiche of Kurt Busiek's Astro City. Herculina is this world's Wonder Woman.

Earth-35- A send-up to Alan Moore's attempts at retooling Rob Liefeld's superheroes, particularly his gritty Superman and Wonder Woman pastiches Supreme and Glory. As Majesty is the Glory analogue, she's therefore the Wonder Woman equivalent.

Earth-36- An ersatz of Big Bang Comics, which was largely an affectionate tribute to Golden Age and Silver Age superhero comics, DC especially. War-Woman is a stand-in for Big Bang Comics' Venus and is therefore this world's Wonder Woman.

Earth-37- A world combining the DC Comics works of Howard Chaykin (Ironwolf, Twilight and Batman: Thrillkiller). No known counterpart to Wonder Woman.

Earth-38- The universe of Superman & Batman: Generations, where the premise was the heroes' decades of adventure occurring under a more realistic passage of time, each hero starting their careers the same years of their real-life comic book debuts. Since I already had Earth-Two Diana and her daughter Lyta, having this world's Diana and her daughter Stevie seemed redundant.

Earth-39- A send-up to the T.H.U.N.D.E.R Agents known as the agents of W.O.N.D.E.R. No known counterpart to Wonder Woman.

Earth-40- An evil equivalent to Earth-20, though with its villains not being direct counterparts to Earth-20's heroes. Again, no known counterpart to Wonder Woman.

Earth-41- An Image Comics homage where the Justice League are merged with Youngblood to form the Nimrod Squad. Didn't feel like drawing Vague (the Wonder Woman counterpart doubling as a pastiche of Vogue).

Earth-42- A world inhabited by chibi versions of the DC characters. Also, they're apparently robots.

Earth-43- Vampire universe influenced by the Batman & Dracula trilogy. Didn't feel like drawing vampire boobs today.

Earth-44- A world where the main heroes are robotic amalgams of the Justice League and the Metal Men made by the human Doc Tornado. Wonder Woman and Platinum's joint counterpart is Platinum Wonder Woman, proudly shown detaching her chest armor to show off her metallic bazooms.

Earth-45- A world where the concept of Superman was brought to life, only to be acquired and corrupted by a corporation that made him into Doomsday as a result of retooling him to be darker and more appealing to the audiences they sought. No known Wonder Woman counterpart.

Earth-46- Home of the Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham series. No known Wonder Woman counterpart.

Earth-47- A psychedelic world where the main heroes are the Love Syndicate, whose members are President Prez Rickard, Brother Power the Geek, Sunshine Superman, Magic Lantern, Speed Freak and Shooting Star. No known Wonder Woman counterpart.

Earth-48- Everyone has powers in this world and it is the current home of Lady Quark and her husband Lord Volt and daughter Princess Fern, the latter two she originally lost in the original Crisis. No known Wonder Woman counterpart.

Earth-49- The universe of Injustice: Gods Among Us. I'm not a fan. Nuff said.

Earth-50- If not the actual Justice Lords universe, then at least an approximation of the universe where the Justice League became tyrants after President Luthor killed their Flash, the same way Earth-12 isn't exactly the DCAU per se. BTW, I know I forgot to write "Earth-50" near Justice Lord Wonder Woman. She was the last one I drew and I was just so done with this pic by then.

Earth-51- A world inhabited by Jack Kirby's most famous DC creations: The New Gods, O.M.A.C. and Kamandi, The Last Boy on Earth. No known counterpart to Wonder Woman.

Earth-52- Supposedly, this world would be one where Dr. Manhattan's changes were never undone and the DCU still had the status quo of the New 52 era. I didn't see any way New 52 Diana was distinguishable enough to warrant her inclusion.

Will Borealar find his lost friend once again amidst the deafening silence? With a seed of hatred and despair in his friend's heart, will he be able to guide him towards the light once more?
