Holly Mae played ten songs she wrote for her band, Holly Mae and the Painted Room. The stark, stripped-down arrangements filled the room and focused our attention on her kaleidoscopic lyrics and warm, understated voice. More music from Holly Mae…

Setlist:

1. Parachute

2. Long June

3. Hologram

4. Zero is the Light that Never Goes Out

5. Surf Beach

6. Even When I Don’t Sing, I’m Thinking of a Song

7. Things Are Not What They Seem

8. The Past (I’m Free)

9. You Give Us the Music

Paul Arambula’s performance was a collection of new compositions that take his work in a new direction, away from the experimental guitar work on his SoundCloud page and towards asymmetric songs for piano and voice. More music from Paul Arambula…
