On the instructions of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on the initiative of Dhaka North City Corporation, under the supervision of Honorable Councilor of Dhaka 16 No. Ward, Motiur Rahman Mollah, on 12-09-2023 at 12 o'clock in the morning, Ekushey Sarani inaugurated the replacement of new sewage pipe line on the roads of the area. President of Ekushey Sarani Mohalla Committee and other dignitaries were present during the inauguration of this program.

Ekushey Sarani Mohalla Committee organized an emergency discussion meeting with general members on 25-09-2022. Minor thefts occurred in several houses under the jurisdiction of Ekushey Sarani Mohalla Committee. This creates various worries in the minds of the local residents. Various opinions were expressed on behalf of the local people in the meeting. The President of Ekushey Sarani Mohalla Committee Alhaj Md Mosharraf Hossain and the executive board took the decision that 50 CCTV Cameras will be installed at different places within the area under the jurisdiction of Ekushey Sarani Mohalla Committee. Later the proposal to install 50 CCTV Cameras was accepted in the presence of all.

On 08-03-2022 the installation of modern bright energy efficient LED street lights has been completed in the Ekushey Sarani Mohalla Committee area of Ward No. 16 of Dhaka North City Corporation, instead of the old street lights. During the Corona (Covid19) period, the Blood Sempol collection process for corona test was going on under the supervision of (IEDCR) under the government guidelines. During the Blood Sempol collection process for Corona test, some doctors came in Ekushey Sarani area in the high vehicles of IEDCR to collect Blood Sempol for Corona test on 29-03-2020 at noon. They were all wearing safety suits. Seeing them created fear and panic among the locals. Many people in the area did not go out on the streets because of the fear of seeing the cars of (IEDCR). When I remember that time, I still feel fear inside me. During Corona (Covid19) many people have passed away from the world, I pray for all of them, may Allah keep their souls in peace. Amen...

Dear mahalla residents, you are already aware that almost all the roads in Ibrahimpur area except Ekushey Sarani mahalla are being widened. You will all agree that the roads in all areas are wide and good, the price of land, house price and house rent are all higher in those areas. Because of easy access of ambulances and fire trucks in times of calamity, all types of private cars and vehicles of all types of chhat / mazari class can move easily, the quality of life of the locals is improved.So with the house / flat owners to exchange views on the above issues and come to a logical conclusion On 16/02/2021, a general discussion meeting was organized on road widening and other issues in Ekushey Sarani Mahalla Committee area.The meeting was attended by President: Alhaj Md. Mosharraf Hossain, General Secretary: Md. Manjurul Haque, Advisory Council and local residents of the area.

DNCC Sewage Line Cleaning Work Has Started.

In Ekushey Sarani area, the work of cleaning the dirt and garbage of the road sewerage line has started.

On 30/10/2020 (DNCC) at the initiative of Mr. Md. Atiqul Islam, Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation and under the direction of (DNCC) Dhaka 17th Ward Councilor Mr. Md. Matiur Rahman Mollah (Moti Mollah) Has started cleaning activities. A large number of (DNCC) cleaning workers participated in this activity and due to their tireless work on 02/11/2020, the activities of cleaning the garbage were completed. The local residents of the area expressed satisfaction over the implementation of these activities.
