*ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ಹಾಗೇ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೊಸ ಮನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲೂ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು ಶೆಟ್ಟರು. ಮೊದಮೊದಲು ಆಗಾಗ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಗ ಕೊನೆಗೆ ತಿಂಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ, ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಬರಲು ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದ..ನಾಳೆ ನಾಳೆ ಎಂದು ಈ ಹೊಸ ಮನೆಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಗಲಿದ್ದು ಬರೋಬ್ಬರಿ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷ😱...ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ವೃದ್ಧಾಶ್ರಮದ ಜೀವನ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸವಾಗಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು ಶೆಟ್ಟರಿಗೆ😔. ಮೊದ ಮೊದಲು ಕಷ್ಟವಾದರೂ ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದಿನವಲ್ಲವೇ ಎಂದು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅದೆಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಾತ್ವಿಕ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಮಗನ ಅರಮನೆ ಯಂತಹ ಮನೆಗೆ "ತಂದೆಯ ಕನಸು" ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಸದಾಶಿವ ಶೆಟ್ಟರಿಗಂತೂ ಜೀವನದ ಸಂತೃಪ್ತಿಯ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು👌.*

*ಅಂದೇಕೋ ಕಾವೇರಿ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ನೆನಪಾಗುತಿದ್ದಳು😔,ಈ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಲು ನನ್ನ ಕಾವೇರಿ ಇರಬೇಕಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಒದ್ದೆ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆಯಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ಸಲ ಯೋಚಿಸುತಿದ್ದರು ಅವರು😔 ..*

*ನಿನ್ನೆ ವೃದ್ದಾಶ್ರಮದ ಆ ವಾಹನ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಮಗ,ಸೊಸೆ,ಮೊಮ್ಮಗ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಎದುರಾಗಿ "ತಂದೆಯ ಕನಸು" ಎಂಬ ಮನೆಯ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ತನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಭವ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಸದಾಶಿವ ಶೆಟ್ಟರ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಾಗೆ ಇತ್ತು ಆ ವೃದ್ಧಾಶ್ರಮದ ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕೆಲವು ವೃದ್ಧರು ಅಂದು ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ "ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗ ಬರ್ತಾನ ಮತ್ತೇನಲ್ವಾ.. ನಮ್ಮ ಮಗನೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ 😔"...ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಂಗಿಸಿದ್ದು ನನ್ನ ಮಗ ಅಂಥವನಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಪದೇಪದೇ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶೆಟ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಇಂದು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಎದುರು "ತಂದೆಯ ಕನಸು" ಎಂಬ ಭವ್ಯ ಮಂದಿರದ ಒಳ ಪ್ರದೇಶಿಸುವ ಆ ಸುಂದರ ಕ್ಷಣ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ಮಹಾನ್ ವಿಜಯದ ಕ್ಷಣ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡರು ಅವರು.👌👌*

*ಗೃಹಪ್ರವೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಸುಸೂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿದವು.ಬಂದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಬಂದು ಮಿತ್ರರು, ಇಂತಹ ಪುಣ್ಯವಂತ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ನೀವೇ ಧನ್ಯರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಮಾತುಗಳು, ಶೆಟ್ಟರ ಕಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ಜೇಂಕರಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.👌👌*

*ಅಂದು ಒಂದು ದಿನವಿಡೀ ಹೊಸ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆಯಿತ್ತಿ ರಾಜಾರೋಷವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿದ್ದೇ ತಿರುಗಿದ್ದು .. ಪದೇ ಪದೇ "ತಂದೆಯ ಕನಸು" ಎಂಬ ನಾಮಫಲಕದ ಎದುರುಗಡೆ ಸೆಲ್ಫಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ರಾಜಗಾಂಭೀರ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಂದಿನ ದಿನ ಕಳೆದರು ಶೆಟ್ಟರು. ಸಂಜೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಏನೋ ನೆನಪಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಇಡೀ ಮನೆಯನ್ನೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸುತ್ತಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು.😳*

*ಮನೆಯ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೇಲ್ಮಹಡಿ ಇಡೀ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ .. ಮಗ ಹೇಳಿದ ತನ್ನ ಕೊಠಡಿ ಯಾವುದೆಂಬುದೇ ಅವರ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ😳, ರೂಮುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ಒಂದೆರಡು ರೂಮುಗಳು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಂಚಗಳಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಗೊಂದಲಗೊಂಡ ಶೆಟ್ಟರು ಮನಸ್ಸಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾ ಬಡಬಡನೆ ಮಹಡಿಯಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದರು.. ಕೆಳಗಿದ್ದ ಮಗನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಬೇಕಿತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ "ನನ್ನ ರೂಮು ಯಾವುದಪ್ಪ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಜಾಗ ಯಾವುದು?"😭 ಎಂದು..ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಜೆ ಸಮಯ ಆರಾಗಿತ್ತು ಓಡೋಡಿ ಮಹಡಿ ಇಂದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆಟ್ಟರು ಕನಸಲ್ಲೂ ಊಹಿಸದ ಆಘಾತವೊಂದು ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತಿತ್ತು 😱😱.*

*ಕೆಳಗೆ ಮಗನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಲು ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರಬೇಕೆನ್ನುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಬಂದಿರುವಂತ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದ ಅದೇ ವೃದ್ದಾಶ್ರಮದ ಗ್ಯಾಂಗ್ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು😱 ... ಬಹುಶಹ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಶೆಟ್ಟರು.. ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು, ತಮ್ಮ ವೃದ್ಧಾಶ್ರಮದ ನಾಟಕ ಎರಡನೇ ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಮೇಲ್ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಗೊತ್ತೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅವರಿಗೆ 😱😰...*

*ಯಾವಾಗ ವೃದ್ಧಾಶ್ರಮದ ವಾರ್ಡನ್ ಬನ್ನಿ ಶೆಟ್ಟರೆ ಹೋಗುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗೆ, ಎನ್ನುವಾಗ ಒಂದರೆ ಕ್ಷಣ ಹೌಹಾರಿ ಹೋದರು, ಮಗ ಸೊಸೆ ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಡೆಗೆ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರೆ, ವೃದ್ಧಾಶ್ರಮದ ವಾರ್ಡನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮತ್ತೆ ಕೆಲವು ವೃದ್ಧರು. ಶೆಟ್ಟರನ್ನು ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲು ಅವರ ಸಮೀಪ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು😭,ಆಶಾ ಗೋಪುರವೊಂದು ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರೇ ಕಳಚಿ ಬಿದ್ದಾಗ ಶೆಟ್ಟರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು, ಮತ್ತೆ ಮಂಜಾಗಿದ್ದವು ಈಗಲೂ ಮಗನ ಮುಖವನ್ನೇ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಅವರು "ಇಲ್ಲ ನಮ್ಮಪ್ಪ ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ" ಎನ್ನುವ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಅವನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಬರಬಹುದೆಂಬ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಅವರು 😭, ಸೊಸೆಯಾದರೂ ಮಧ್ಯ ಬರಬಹುದೆಂದು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದರು, ಆದರೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ಹುಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವು,ಅದೂ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲ ನಾಟಕದ ಸೂತ್ರಧಾರಿಗಳೇ ಮಗ,ಸೊಸೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಅರಿವಾಗುವಾಗ ಬಹಳ ತಡವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿತ್ತು😱, ತಮಗರಿವೇ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಕಣ್ಣಾಲಿಗಳು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಕೆನ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಯ್ದು ಜಾರಿ ನೆಲ ಸೇರಿದ್ದವು😭😭. ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಾತು ಹೊರಡದೆ ಒಂದರೆ ಕ್ಷಣ ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು ಶೆಟ್ಟರು😭...*

*ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಮಗ ಅಪ್ಪ ಹೋಗಿ ಬನ್ನಿ ಎಂದು ಕಾಲು ಹಿಡಿದು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರೆ, ಸೊಸೆ ಕೂಡ ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಳು, ತಲೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ ತಂದೆ, ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಕೂಡಾ ನೋಡದೆ ವೃದ್ಧಾಶ್ರಮದ ವಾಹನವನ್ನೇರಿದರು, ವಾಹನ ವೃದ್ದಾಶ್ರಮದತ್ತ ಓಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು, ಆ ಮನೆಯ ಹೆಸರ ಫಲಕ "ತಂದೆಯ ಕನಸು".. ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಕಣ್ಮರೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಮಾಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊನೆಗೂ ಆ ತಂದೆಯ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಕನಸಾಗಿಯೇ ಉಳಿದು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು 😭... ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ತೋರಿಸಲಷ್ಟೇ ತಂದೆಯ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತು ಮಗನಿಗೆ.... ಶೆಟ್ಟರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಂಜಾಗುತ್ತಲೇ ಇತ್ತು 😰😭...*
