He applauded Marvell Technology (NASDAQ: MRVL), saying it could be set to become the "next trillion-dollar company."

Huang's comments sent shares of the semiconductor stock soaring 32.5% last Tuesday (June 2). Following the big move, the stock now has a market cap of over $250 billion. So, if Huang is right, the stock could still quadruple from here. For its part, Nvidia took a $2 billion stake in Marvell earlier this year.

2 Millionaire-Maker AI Stocks to Hold for the Next Decade

These two tickers are about to be the next AI headline stocks.

There's a version of artificial intelligence (AI) investing that has been popular over the last few years and that I feel is talked about constantly: buy Nvidia, hold it forever, done. It's going to be won in the wires, the racks, and the optical infrastructure that no one on CNBC is interrupting their broadcast to scream about.

Two companies have become foundational to AI infrastructure in a way that could make patient investors very wealthy. This move is primarily fueled by the fact that China currently dominates the global market, controlling a staggering 70% of mining and 90% of processing, giving the country considerable influence in international negotiations.

The U.S. entered into a historic arrangement with MP Materials (NYSE: MP) last year, investing in the company to help it ramp up its processing capacity while also providing it with price floors for its critical magnets. Over the past month, several investment banks have raised their price targets on the company. Here's what investors need to know.

MP Materials is the only fully integrated Western rare-earth producer that also owns the largest rare-earth mine in the U.S. at Mountain Pass. Last year, the company entered into a landmark public-private partnership with the U.S. government to purchase its neodymium-praseodymium (NdPr) products, which are used in critical rare-earth magnets for electric vehicles, robotics, and defense.

MLPX vs. EMLP: Does Active Management in Energy Infrastructure Justify the Extra Fee Cost?

Explore how portfolio composition and management style shape income and volatility for these two energy infrastructure ETFs.

Global X - MLP & Energy Infrastructure ETF (NYSEMKT:MLPX) offers a lower-cost, high-yield path to energy infrastructure, while First Trust North American Energy Infrastructure Fund (NYSEMKT:EMLP) provides an actively managed, diversified utility-heavy alternative.

Investors looking for exposure to the North American energy infrastructure sector generally weigh the merits of pure-play pipeline funds against more diversified portfolios. While both ETFs target companies that move and store fuel, their underlying investment strategies result in notably different risk-return profiles. The last time it rose that high, the tech collapse in 2000 soon followed.

While strong corporate earnings growth is supporting the market here, stocks could take a hit if the narrative changes. Inflation is well above the Federal Reserve's target. GDP growth has slowed substantially over the past two quarters. President Donald Trump is trying to restart his tariff strategy. Any or all of these factors could be the catalyst to send stock prices sharply lower. With the S&P 500 nearly as expensive as it has ever been, according to the Shiller CAPE ratio, there's little room for error.

There are ways, however, to protect your portfolio. By pivoting to more defensive equities, investors can mitigate downside risk and maybe even generate a little extra income on the side. That's why the Schwab U.S. Dividend Equity ETF (NYSEMKT: SCHD) becomes really attractive during a correction. But at its target valuation of $2 trillion, it would be valued at 107 times last year's sales. That's a bubbly valuation, even for a company that grew its revenue by 33% in 2025.

SpaceX also still generates most of its revenue from Starlink, its satellite internet service. When it didn't, they revolted, sending Broadcom shares as much as 14% lower, and dragging a handful of other AI tech stocks down with it.

A growing number of investors seem to fear this single-day setback could mark the beginning of prolonged weakness stemming from AI's lack of clear, practical value. After all, most of Broadcom's business comes from other AI companies building capacity on the mere hope that enough actual business will follow. If this worry is legitimate, a sweeping correction is likely to come sooner rather than later.

AMD's Bold AI Push Could Unlock Massive Growth, But the Risks Are Also Serious

AMD's AI story is getting stronger, but the stock's valuation is getting harder to ignore. You can see them whizzing over the Hudson, orbiting Liberty Island like big flies, sweeping from the Upper West Side to the Financial District, to the Brooklyn waterfront, around the South Street Seaport. Their whop-whop thrum is inescapable; it penetrates walls and fills the area around you.

If you've stayed with me through this rather lengthy introduction, you might guess where this is going. When we talk about Joby Aviation (NYSE: JOBY), or rather the potential of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, adoption of these flying taxis is usually a major question on the table. Even if a company like Joby gets regulatory approval to fly air taxis, will consumers bite? Will cities or communities adopt them? Will flights get booked?

While only time will tell whether the air taxi concept sticks, several factors suggest that it will.

If You'd Invested $10,000 in Nvidia Stock 10 Years Ago, Here's How Much You'd Have Today

Shares in the world's dominant AI enterprise have even outperformed the leading cryptocurrency.

Just when you think it can't keep going higher, Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) proves the bears wrong and adds fuel to the bull case. At the core of the transformation is an investment philosophy rooted in buying excellent companies at a fair value and holding them for the long run, preferably forever.

In the last few years of his tenure as CEO, Buffett found few great investment opportunities, allowing Berkshire's cash pile to grow to nearly $400 billion. Greg Abel has shown a willingness to start deploying relatively small chunks of that capital in his first few months as CEO, and he recently agreed to a deal that would put about $8.5 billion of Berkshire's cash to work in an acquisition that follows in Buffett's footsteps.

This High-Flying Semiconductor Stock Still Has a Compelling Case, But Comes With a Serious Risk

This company's AI story is getting harder to ignore, but the stock's valuation creates a fascinating dilemma for investors chasing the next infrastructure winner.

Marvell (NASDAQ: MRVL) is gaining momentum as custom AI chips, optical networking, and data center demand reshape its growth outlook. His latest price target, though, might have you scratching your head.

Lee predicts that Ethereum will soar from $2,000 to $62,000. Even investors in AI, quantum computing, or space exploration will likely find it impossible to achieve the same type of results over the next few years.

There are a number of key factors that go into the $62,000 price target. The first involves Ethereum's historical dominance within the field of decentralized finance (DeFi). That figure sounds bad, but it masks material underlying strength. Notably, there was a one-time hit due to the timing of certain hedging activity, which will likely reverse later in the year, making future quarters look even better. With the company growing production by 24% and returning a huge $6 billion in cash to shareholders, is now the time to buy Chevron?

The big story in the energy sector today is the geopolitical conflict in the Middle East. The high energy prices resulting from supply constraints caused by this conflict didn't actually start until partway through the first quarter. Add in the $2.9 billion headwind from the timing of hedging activity, and Chevron's first quarter actually looked fairly weak.

1 Lesson Investors Should Take Away From Broadcom's Latest Earnings

Broadcom's strong earnings weren't quite enough for an unquenchable Wall Street.

Usually, when a company posts record revenue, it's good news for the stock and its shareholders. Unfortunately, this was not the case this week when Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO) announced its latest earnings. Despite beating Wall Street's expectations and posting truly impressive growth, the stock sank because it missed analysts' earnings-per-share "whisper number," or the informal consensus, by a slim margin.

The lesson for investors is, once again, that short-term noise should largely be ignored. Long-term fundamentals still matter, and a decrease in a stock's price based on hype or noise is nothing more than an irrational overreaction. Broadcom's fundamentals remain incredibly strong.

Broadcom's revenue grew 48% year over year, and its artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor revenue exploded by 143%, with another $30 billion in bookings.

After Shares Surged 84% in a Month, Micron's CEO Just Sold $38 Million of Stock. But there is a fair amount of risk in investing in the IPO, and a new one just emerged.

SpaceX is expected to be the largest IPO ever, with plans to raise $75 billion and debut with a valuation near $2 trillion. However, it's unprofitable, posting a $4.4 billion loss in 2025 and a $4.3 billion loss in the 2026 first quarter. On a price-to-sales basis, the stock is likely to be extremely expensive, starting out at around 100 times trailing-12-month sales. Perform a retirement checkup.

You have to do your taxes, or Uncle Sam will come calling. Which is basically what Benjamin Franklin was getting at when he said, "In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes." The U.S. tax code is complicated, and filing your taxes is a heavy chore. But you have to do it. Hopefully, the outcome is a refund or at least no additional tax payments.

With tax season in the rearview mirror, many people may be glad to move on. Don't be so quick. All of that work you did can serve another purpose. The information you generated is what you need to perform a retirement plan checkup. Do that now, while the information is still fresh.

Hate taxes all you want, but if you can get more out of them than just a headache, you'll be much happier about the effort you had to put in. That effort usually begins with collecting information about your financial situation. Your salary information is the starting point, of course. However, you also need all your bank statements and the statements from your investment accounts, including retirement plans and individual retirement accounts (IRAs). You may also have other information in the mix, such as interest payments on outstanding loans.

A Post-Earnings Sell-Off Could Be an Incredible Buying Opportunity for This Stock

The transition to artificial intelligence (AI) could ultimately be great for this company.

Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) have had a significant impact on many software companies over the last few years. Many are actively looking to integrate new AI features while defending against disruption. Stock analysts have been trying to understand the impact of AI across various software segments and what future earnings will look like, leading to a massive sell-off across the sector earlier this year.

Software stocks aren't out of the woods yet. A slightly disappointing earnings outlook could send a stock cratering. That was the case with Zscaler (NASDAQ: ZS), the cybersecurity software company. He takes over for Jerome Powell, who has held the spot since 2018. Warsh is the sixth Fed Chair to assume control since 1979. Preceding him:

A new Fed Chair generally creates uncertainty. Given the lengthy terms that Chairs often serve, the market usually has a pretty good sense of their thinking and what to expect from them. A new Chair may have different priorities and views on the economy. According to Bloomberg data, the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (NYSEMKT: VOO) just passed $1 trillion in net assets. This makes it the first ETF in history to pass the $1 trillion mark. The fund has received more than $69 billion of inflows so far in 2026, according to Bloomberg's analysis.

Having $1 trillion in assets doesn't mean the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF is better than or guaranteed to outperform other ETFs. It shows just how popular and essential this ETF has become for millions of everyday stock market investors.

Let's see why the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF became popular enough to attract $1 trillion of investors' savings -- and whether you should buy it, too.

A Ligand Pharmaceuticals (LGND) Insider Sold 5,000 Shares for $1.1 Million

Biotech royalty player Ligand Pharmaceuticals reported a notable insider sale following a year of strong stock performance.

Andrew Reardon, CLO & Secretary at Ligand (NASDAQ:LGND), reported the sale of 5,000 shares of Common Stock for approximately ~$1.14 million on June 1, 2026, following the immediate exercise and disposition of stock options under an SEC Form 4 filing: SEC Form 4 filing

Transaction value based on SEC Form 4 weighted average purchase price ($227.06); post-transaction value based on June 1, 2026 market close ($227.06).

* 1-year price change calculated as of June 5, 2026.

Why Marvell Technology Rallied in May

And the stock jumped again in June with an endorsement from Jensen Huang.

Shares of Marvell Technology (NASDAQ: MRVL) rallied 24.1% in May, according to data from S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Marvell had a busy month, reporting first-quarter earnings toward the end of May. Additionally, Marvell received a small investment from Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD), which is interesting because AMD is both a customer and, in some ways, a competitor.

Marvell reports somewhat later in the quarter than other major semiconductor stocks and cloud computing giants, so it had already been riding some sectorwide strength. The recent earnings season showed continued booming demand for AI infrastructure. The IPO price has been set at $135 per share, with plans to sell 555.6 shares. That means the company is raising a massive $75 billion. There is material news flow around the deal, some of it positive and some negative. At this point, there's no way to know if the stock will rise or fall once it starts trading.

There are ways for investors to get exposure to the space sector outside of SpaceX before the company's IPO, if you want to play the potential halo effect across the industry. And Baron Partners Fund has a material investment in the currently private company, with the mutual fund's shareholders standing to benefit if the stock takes off. But there's a risk the shares don't do that, and the IPO halo turns into a crown of thorns for the space sector. The only sure-fire winners in this IPO are likely to be investment banks Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) and Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS). Here's why.

Nvidia Is a $5 Trillion AI Giant. The stock has risen more than 1,070% over the past five years. That turns $10,000 into over $116,680. With AI investments continuing to pour into chips and data centers, it's fair to wonder how much more investors can expect.

Could Nvidia, already at a market cap of $4.96 trillion, with a "T," actually double again anytime soon? The idea isn't outlandish at all. Nvidia's next AI chip platform, Vera Rubin, is looming, and it represents a leap forward in data center infrastructure.

Here's why Nvidia stock can continue to soar and how long it may realistically take to double from here.

HODL or NCIQ? That's more than 50% upside based on the stock's price as of June 4.

Geiger highlighted strong and accelerating traffic trends at the coffee shop operator, driven by menu innovation, increasing mobile orders, and the introduction of hot food items. The difference is deeper than their use cases; cryptos can have different underlying technologies, governance models, token issuance mechanisms, and ways to generate value. No two cryptocurrencies are the same when you look under the hood.

XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) and Cardano (CRYPTO: ADA) are good examples of this. Both are popular cryptocurrencies with the potential to disrupt traditional finance, but when you dig deeper, they are poles apart, revealing a major structural problem for XRP. This makes Cardano a better buy, even though XRP's price performance and other metrics suggest otherwise.
