Đúng ra hắn cũng không định đến muộn, lúc hắn ra khỏi nhà mới có bốn giờ kém. Hắn đã đi chơi. Hắn định chỉ làm một phát khoảng một tiếng thôi, không ngờ cô ả lấy đắt quá, hắn ức chế chơi đến cùng cho đỡ phí, ba lần, mỗi lần một tiếng. Cô em cave chỉ hăng hái say sưa phục vụ trong một tiếng đầu tiên, còn hai tiếng sau thì hắn phải nghe cô ả vừa khóc vừa la oai oái, cô ả phát khiếp lên vì hắn. Tuy nhiên hắn cảm thấy cũng chưa được thỏa mãn lắm, hắn luôn nghĩ chắc Lê phải tuyệt hơn rất nhiều. Những điều ấy hẳn vẫn còn là một ước mơ xa vời, vì Lê là một thiên thần trong sáng dễ thương, thậm chí cô bé còn chưa dám hôn hắn, hay đúng hơn là để cho hắn hôn. Lê đẹp. Khi lần đầu hắn gặp Lê, ấn tượng đầu tiên và mạnh mẽ nhất của hắn về Lê rất đơn giản: hắn chưa bao giờ gặp ai đẹp như Lê. Một đôi mắt tinh nghịch, cuốn hút đến chết người. Một khuôn mặt tròn trĩnh dễ thương, đôi gò má đầy đặn quyến rũ. Một đôi môi mật ong ngọt ngào gợi cảm. Còn thân hình của Lê, hắn không thể tin được rằng nhìn thấy thân hình của Lê mà đàn ông trên thiên hạ vẫn chưa đi tù hết. Lê là một tuyệt phẩm hoàn hảo nhất của tạo hóa, hấp dẫn đầy ma lực, không thể cưỡng lại. Hắn bằng tuổi Lê, nhưng Lê vẫn gọi hắn là anh. Lê luôn giận hắn rất dai nếu hắn đến muộn, giờ hắn đang phải nghĩ xem mình nên nói gì với Lê. Hắn cũng hơi cảm thấy có lỗi. Không sao, hắn tự bào chữa, con gái cũng nên thỉnh thoảng bị bỏ bom một lần.

Hắn đỗ xe, nhảy xuống. Đưa tay lên chuông cửa, hắn rụt rè ấn.

Bảy giờ hai mươi lăm phút.

Sao không có ai ra nhỉ? Hắn ấn chuông lần nữa, rồi áp tai vào cánh cửa, lắng nghe. Nhà Lê nằm trên ngõ chợ, khá đơn giản, chỉ một cánh cửa gỗ đặc mỏng phân cách giữa khoảng sân hẹp và phòng khách, ngoài khoảng sân là cánh cổng không khóa bao giờ. Chỉ cần áp tai vào cánh cửa gỗ là nghe được hết.

Gì thế này? Hắn nghe thấy một tiếng kêu đau đớn phát ra. Hắn nhận ra giọng nói mềm mượt, thanh ngân, trong trẻo ấy. Lê bị sao rồi? Tiếng kêu vừa rồi cho hắn biết rõ ràng là Lê đang bị đau. Làm gì bây giờ? Hắn cuống lên, xoay nắm cửa. Tất nhiên là cửa khóa. Hắn hơi lùi lại một chút, co chân đạp mạnh. Đến lần đạp thứ ba, cánh cửa bật ra.

Khi hắn nhìn vào phòng, hắn cảm thấy chân mình không còn đứng vững nữa.

Lê…

Lê đang ngồi trên chiếc ghế gỗ cao, khuôn mặt đầy vẻ đau đớn, đôi môi run run và hai gò má đẫm nước mắt. Người Lê gập hẳn xuống, màu đỏ sẫm đang loang dần trên chiếc áo phông trắng. Máu! Đó là máu, và máu vẫn đang rỉ ra từ nơi con dao trên bụng Lê, khi Lê ấn mạnh thêm hai tay vào con dao ấy. Lê đã tự đâm con dao đến lút cán vào bụng mình. Tự sát!

Hắn đứng như trời trồng, đôi chân hắn tê dại, hắn không hiểu sao mình không thể cử động được. Hắn cứ đứng đó, bất động, mắt trợn ngược lên nhìn Lê.

Đôi gò má Lê vẫn đẫm nước mắt, và Lê nói, tiếng nói nức nở của một cô gái đang khóc.

– Anh đã quên em… Anh đã đến muộn… Em đã chỉ hẹn một mình anh, chỉ em và anh, em đã nghĩ hôm nay sẽ là sinh nhật vui vẻ nhất của em… Vậy mà anh đã quên… Em yêu anh, nhưng em không thể chịu nổi nếu như anh quên em… Vĩnh biệt!

Mắt hắn hoa lên khủng khiếp. Hắn hoảng sợ. Hắn lúng túng không biết phải làm gì. Hắn đứng đó, nhìn cơ thể Lê đổ sang một bên, gục xuống chiếc bàn cạnh đó. Lê đã tự sát!

Mình phải làm gì đây, hắn nghĩ. Không, không được. Có lẽ Lê đã chết. Lê đã tự sát! Không, không thể như thế được!

Hắn hóa điên. Hắn sập cửa lại, bổ nhào ra xe, nhảy lên và rồ ga phóng đi. Hắn vặn ga hết cỡ, lao đi trên đường. Mắt hắn vẫn hoa lên, không nhìn rõ bất cứ thứ gì trên đường. Gió tạt vào mặt hắn khô rát. Hắn bỏ chạy, đúng, hắn đang bỏ chạy một cái gì đó mà hắn cũng không biết là cái gì, có lẽ hắn đang bỏ chạy khỏi nỗi sợ hãi của chính mình.

Hắn vụt qua một ngã tư trong lúc đang đèn đỏ, một người đàn ông tầm gần năm chục tuổi suýt đâm vào hắn, hét to lên: “Mù à? Đi kiểu gì thế thằng chó kia?”

Nghĩ thế nào, hắn cua xe lại, phanh ngay cạnh người đàn ông đó. Hắn vẫn đang đứng gần ngã tư, nhảy khỏi xe, vứt cho nó đổ tự do trên đường. Hắn co nắm tay lại, rồi lấy hết sức tọng vào mặt người đàn ông đó một quả đấm. Ông ta ngã ngay, chiếc xe Dream đổ theo đè lên một chân. Hắn dựng xe lên, lại tiếp tục lao đi.

Bảy giờ bốn mươi ba phút.

Hắn lách cách mở khóa, rồi dập mạnh hai tay vào cánh cổng nhà. Bố mẹ hắn đi nghỉ mát cả, chỉ còn mình hắn. Hắn vừa chuệnh choạng, vừa cuống cuồng bước vào nhà, để rồi vấp ngã ngay từ bước chân thứ hai.

Đầu hắn đang điên lên, hắn tuyệt vọng khi cố gắng trấn tĩnh bản thân. Hắn vẫn nằm bò trên mặt đất, những kỉ niệm với Lê tràn về trong đầu hắn. Đôi mắt bồ câu sáng trong đến lạ kì, nụ cười dễ thương bừng sáng rực rỡ hơn mặt trời, tưới những tia nắng lên khuôn mặt nhợt nhạt của hắn. Hắn nhớ cái lần Lê mỉm cười ngượng nghịu khi hắn thử cầm tay Lê, và Lê đã rụt rè để hắn cầm. Cũng nụ cười mỉm bẽn lẽn ấy đã cho phép hắn lần đầu tiên đặt môi lên gò má dễ thương của Lê. Ôi chao, những kỉ niệm! Rồi những hình ảnh ấy tan biến trong đầu hắn, hắn thấy trước mắt hắn đang hiện ra cảnh khuôn mặt Lê đầy đau đớn, hai tay ấn mạnh con dao vào bụng mình, máu chảy đẫm áo, nhưng có lẽ không chảy nhiều bằng nước mắt…

Hắn gồng người đập mạnh đầu mình xuống đất. Hắn không biết hắn đã tự đập đầu bao nhiêu lần, hắn dừng lại khi thấy đầu mình đã trầy trụa máu. Không, hắn không thấy đau. Hắn thở hồng hộc như một con bò tót trong cơn điên loạn.

Hắn xộc vào nhà, giật mạnh cánh cửa tủ. Hắn phải bình tĩnh lại, phải quên chuyện này đi. Hắn không có mặt ở đó lúc Lê tự sát. Hắn không muốn rắc rối với công an. Hắn sẽ quên chuyện này, sẽ phải quên. Hắn tìm rượu, trong tủ nhà hắn có nhiều loại rượu. Chai rượu đầu tiên hắn nhìn thấy là một chai champaigne. Hắn vặn cái mở nút vào, giật lên. Rượu bắn vào mặt hắn, hắn cảm giác những giọt rượu trên mặt hắn là những giọt máu rỉ ra từ vết thương của Lê – cô bạn gái đáng yêu của hắn. Hắn cảm thấy ghê tởm trên mặt, vội lấy tay áo quệt đi, rồi dốc chai rượu vào cổ họng. Không có tác dụng, thứ rượu chan chát này chẳng làm hắn bớt đi cơn điên loạn. Chẳng khác nước lã là mấy, hắn tức giận ném mạnh chai rượu xuống sàn, vỡ choang. Rượu bắn ra thành một vũng đỏ trên nền nhà. Hắn vồ lấy một chai rượu khác. Lần này hắn lấy được một chai Vodka. Cái này sẽ có tác dụng hơn. Mùi rượu xộc lên tận óc hắn khi hắn nốc nốt ngụm cuối cùng của chai rượu một lít. Hắn vẫn còn cảm thấy mình tỉnh táo. Không được, hắn phải dập tắt cơn điên loạn này càng nhanh càng tốt. Đúng rồi, trong ngăn thuốc có thuốc an thần. Hắn mở tủ thuốc, tìm thấy một gói giấy ghi chữ “Thuốc an thần”. Không có liều dùng, hắn lấy ra một vỉ nguyên mười viên nén. Hắn bấm ba viên, lưỡng lự, rồi bấm thêm hai viên nữa. Hắn lấy thêm trong tủ ra một chai rượu, một chai whisky. Hắn uống năm viên thuốc với rượu, tu thêm nửa chai rượu nữa. Cuối cùng, nghĩ thế nào, hắn bấm nốt năm viên an thần còn lại trong vỉ, nốc nốt chai whisky với năm viên thuốc. Hắn còn lôi trong tủ ra thêm một chai rượu nữa, chẳng thèm xem nhãn mác gì, hắn tu sạch.

Đầu hắn choáng váng, mắt hắn không còn nhìn thấy gì nữa. Tai hắn ong ong lên những tiếng rền vang khó chịu, hắn như nghe thấy trong những tiếng ấy có lẫn cả tiếng kêu đau đớn của Lê, đôi lúc hắn còn tưởng như có cả những lời Lê nói với hắn trong những giây cuối cùng.

Lê đã tự sát, vì hắn! VÌ HẮN!

KHÔNG!

Hắn nằm vật ra đất, duỗi hết chân tay. Người hắn râm ran, rồi tê dại.

Chín giờ hai mươi phút tối.

Hắn cảm thấy một cơn gió lùa qua lạnh buốt. Theo thói quen, hắn với tay lấy chăn. Lùa mãi tay sang bên phải, không thấy chăn đâu, hắn mới nhận ra không phải hắn đang nằm trên giường.

Lạnh quá, một cơn gió nữa vừa mới lùa qua.

Hắn run lên cầm cập, người hắn tê đi vì lạnh, hắn cảm thấy từng lỗ chân lông đang mở ra đón gió lạnh. Mặt hắn tái đi.

Gian phòng hoàn toàn tối. Hắn sợ. Hắn chưa bao giờ sợ bóng tối, nhưng bây giờ thì hắn sợ. Và rồi, dù hết sức không muốn, hắn đã nghĩ đến Lê. Hắn sợ, sợ khủng khiếp khi nghĩ đến Lê, đến cái cảnh Lê tự sát… tự sát…

Lê tự sát vì hận hắn…

Hắn hối hận. Hối hận, nhưng đã muộn quá rồi.

Một cơn gió thật mạnh thổi qua cắt vào da thịt hắn, thấu tới tận xương, và xô cánh cửa giập mạnh làm hắn giật thót mình.

Sau cơn gió mạnh ấy, tiếng gió thổi vi vu, vi vu.

Hắn nghe thấy một giọng nói, một giọng nói như tiếng thở dài não nuột, xa xăm.

“Em… hận… anh…”

Hắn sợ, ôi sao mà hắn sợ! Xưa nay hắn chưa từng biết sợ là gì, từ bé đến giờ hắn chẳng bao giờ biểu lộ tí cảm giác gì – ngoại trừ cảm giác khinh khỉnh – khi xem phim kinh dị. Nhưng bây giờ thì hắn sợ! Hắn cảm thấy rõ ràng mặt mình đang tái đi, tê rần rần. Đầu hắn nhức kinh khủng, nhức như đang bị chuột gặm vậy.

“Em… hận… anh…”

Tiếng nói ấy càng ngày càng gần hơn, rõ hơn, thật hơn. Không, phải bình tĩnh, hết sức bình tĩnh. Không được sợ, chỉ là ảo giác thôi. Không có thật, tất cả không có thật. Ảo giác, là ảo giác!

Hắn tuyệt vọng vì không thể trấn tĩnh bản thân.

Một tiếng gió nhẹ lùa qua khung cửa ngăn giữa phòng khách và hành lang cầu thang. Hắn nhìn về phía ấy.

Một bàn tay màu trắng toát đang đặt lên khung cửa.

Mồ hôi hắn vã ra như tắm, mặc dù thân thể hắn đang buốt đi vì lạnh.

Dần dần, hắn thấy một cánh tay, rồi một bờ vai, và cuối cùng là một khuôn mặt, tất cả đều màu trắng toát. Gương mặt quen thuộc của…

Bạn gái hắn…

Lê…

Đầu hắn giẫy mạnh để xua đi những hình ảnh đó, nhưng vô ích, Lê đã xuất hiện trước mặt hắn. Toàn thân trắng toát, mái tóc cũng trắng mờ, phủ lên thân hình Lê là một tấm vải trắng bồng bềnh như một tấm rèm cửa, hơi giống với trang phục của tu sĩ châu Âu. Lê di chuyển như một cơn gió, đôi bàn chân bước đi chẳng ăn nhập chút nào với tốc độ di chuyển. Thân hình Lê hiện ra mờ mờ sau làn vải trắng mỏng, nhưng hắn không chú ý. Mắt hắn đờ ra trên khuôn mặt xám ngoét, trợn lên nhìn vào khuôn mặt trắng toát của Lê. Đôi môi rạn nứt, mí mắt cũng rạn nứt, mở to ra khoe hai con mắt hằn lên những tia màu đỏ máu.

Hắn chìm trong cơn khiếp đảm, kinh hoàng.

Cơ thể Lê lướt về phía hắn lạnh buốt. Một bàn tay đưa lên, chỉ vào mặt hắn.

– Em đã biết tất cả. Em hận anh! Anh đã quên em để đi với một con gái điếm. Em hận anh! Em sẽ giết cả hai, cả anh và con điếm đó. Em sẽ giết… Anh đáng chết lắm. Em sẽ lôi anh xuống địa ngục!

Hắn hoảng loạn. Hắn muốn thốt ra một câu gì đó, van xin, giải thích, bất cứ một điều gì có ích cho hắn lúc này để xua đi cái hồn ma ai oán kia. Đôi môi Lê nở một nụ cười nghiệt ngã, băng giá. Hồn ma giơ hai bàn tay về phía hắn, chực siết cổ hắn, hắn cảm thấy cổ mình lạnh buốt khi đôi bàn tay trắng toát kia tiến đến gần. Hắn vùng dậy và chạy.

Hắn chạy.

Cửa ra ngoài đã đóng, vì cơn gió mạnh lúc nãy. Hắn cảm thấy không còn thời gian để mở cửa. Hắn bổ nhào ra cầu thang, chạy lên trên tầng. Hắn không quay đầu lại, nhưng hắn biết hồn ma đang đuổi theo hắn, ngày càng gần hơn, bước chạy của hắn cứ chậm dần mà tưởng như bước đuổi lại càng mau. Chỉ đoạn đường từ tầng một lên sân thượng tầng bốn mà hắn mấy lần tưởng chết. Đến lúc hắn lên được bậc thang trên cùng, hắn vấp ngã một cái. Hắn cứ tưởng mình đã chết rồi. Cho dù có không vấp ngã thì có lẽ hắn cũng chẳng chạy được tiếp nữa, hắn đã kiệt sức lắm rồi. Hắn quay đầu lại, nằm ngửa ra.

Không một câu từ nào có thể tả được cảm giác của hắn bây giờ, tất cả là một nỗi khiếp đảm trùm lên không gian quanh hắn, xộc vào cổ họng, bơm đầy hai lá phổi hắn, bóp nghẹt tim hắn.

Hồn ma đang đứng đó, nhìn hắn với cặp mắt đầy tự mãn và nụ cười khinh bỉ.

– Anh nghĩ anh có thể chạy được sao? Anh nghĩ anh sẽ thoát khỏi em ư? Không bao giờ! Em yêu anh, em sẽ kéo anh xuống địa ngục cùng với em!

Hắn hét lên. KHÔNG!!!

Đôi chân hắn giãy giụa, đạp mạnh xuống đất, nhưng chỉ giúp hắn lê đi được có vài phân. Hắn lại vùng đứng dậy, điên cuồng chạy, cắm mặt chạy ra đến tận mép sân thượng. Không một chút do dự, hắn gồng chân nhảy xuống. Nhảy xuống từ sân thượng của một ngôi nhà bốn tầng.

Trong vài giây ngắn ngủi khi đang rơi, hắn nhìn thấy Lê đang đứng đón sẵn ở dưới, với vòng tay mở rộng ra như thể muốn ôm hắn, và một nụ cười thỏa mãn.

Chín giờ sáng.

Cửa bật mở. Một người con trai tầm hơn hai mươi tuổi bước vào. Bao nhiêu cặp mắt trong phòng tỏ vẻ mừng rỡ khi thấy anh. Lê đứng bật dậy, rất nhanh, tay rút ra trong túi quần một vật gì đó sang sáng, bổ nhào về phía người con trai đó.

Hai bàn tay cô bé nắm chắc vật đó, đâm mạnh vào bụng người con trai.

“Hự…”

Một tiếng rên khẽ, người con trai lấy hai tay ôm bụng, khuôn mặt xám đi, nhăn nhúm vì đau đớn. Từ bụng anh, máu đỏ đang tứa ra đẫm áo.

Bao nhiêu khuôn mặt trong phòng căng ra, những đôi mắt trợn tròn lên, những khuôn miệng há hốc. Một giây, hai giây, ba giây, rồi mười giây trôi qua, các khuôn miệng khép dần lại, da mặt trùng xuống và đôi mắt thả lỏng.

– Khiếp, chúng mày làm mẹ sợ muốn chết!

Cả Lê và người con trai kia đứng dậy và cười. Lê rút con dao ra từ bụng Thành – người anh họ thân nhất của Lê, vừa từ Mỹ về nước nghỉ hè. Thành học trường sân khấu điện ảnh của Mỹ. Hai anh em hợp và thân nhau lắm, Thành bảo Lê cũng có khiếu điện ảnh. Con dao kia là anh ta mua tặng Lê, lưỡi dao thụt vào trong khi đâm và máu giả tứa ra từ ống dẫn.

– Em làm bẩn hết áo anh mới mua rồi, thứ này khó giặt lắm đấy!

– Thế thì diễn mới thật chứ! Lê cười, và cả căn nhà rộn lên tiếng cười ấm cúng.

Bất kì một dược sĩ nào cũng biết rằng nếu dùng thuốc an thần chung với rượu thì thay vì an thần, nó sẽ kích thích thần kinh ghê gớm, còn nguy hiểm hơn cả thuốc lắc.

Một chiếc cầu bắc trên dòng sông hẹp, ngăn thành phố với ngoại ô. Sang khỏi cầu, sự thay đổi đột ngột. Con đường xù xì lên những đá và đất đỏ. Những đứa con nít, phần nhiều có một dải bùa vàng buộc ở cổ áo, giỡn nhau giữa đường, chửi đùa nhau cũng khá thô tục. Một đứa bé tí lem luốc bước trên hai cẳng chân chưa vững và khóc bi be. Vài con chó chạy nhong nhong, cúi ngửi bã mía. Từng khoảng một, hai bên mép đường, mấy đứa con gái ngồi bán mía, em nhỏ đặt ngồi cạnh để trông giữ luôn.

Hai dãy nhà lụp xụp nối dài, cửa che bằng phên chống nghiêng nghiêng hoặc bằng mành tre rất to nan. Trên giậu râm bụt, vắt phơi trơ trẽn những quần áo bẩn thỉu, yếm váy vá chằng đụp.

Sông lờ đờ lê dòng hẹp màu vàng đục. Về chiều, nhất là những ngày chủ nhật hay ngày lễ, người trong phố ra ngồi bờ sông câu cá. Có người âu phục, có người ra dáng thợ máy, có mấy cậu học trò, và không biết tại sao, đôi khi lại có cả một bác lính mũ chào mào. Họ ngồi kiên nhẫn dị thường, chặn đầu cần câu dưới một hòn gạch hoặc đá, đoạn lơ đãng ngắm cảnh vật hoặc nhìn lại những người đứng chơi trên cầu nhìn họ.

Mấy người đàn bà lội xuống vo gạo, rửa rau, chè hoặc bèo. Họ cũng có ý đứng xa một tí những người đang giặt yếm váy. Họ khua tay trên nước mấy cái cho bọt và rác dãn ra theo vòng sóng, đoạn nhúng rổ xuống.

Đằng xa, một người đàn bà rán sức vung quá đầu chiếc chiếu cuộn dẹt rồi đập lên mặt nước rất mạnh, khiến nổ bật những tiếng như tiếng súng.

Giữa cái xã hội ngoại ô ấy, Mân sống đã mấy tháng nay. Anh dạy học ở một trường tư trong tỉnh, sau những buổi dạy, anh trở về túp tranh dựng ngay cạnh cầu, thuê mười đồng một năm. Anh chưa quen thuộc hẳn với cái xã hội mà anh cho là ô hợp ấy. Nhất là những lúc nghe hàng xóm chửi bới nhau om sòm, anh không nén được phiền bực.

Túp lều Mân ở tối om om. Mỗi sáng, soạn và chấm bài, anh phải chong ngọn đèn dầu mãi đến bảy giờ. Cái cửa sổ chấn song tre, cạnh đó kê bàn làm việc, nhìn ra con đường nhỏ dẫn xuống bến sông. Người gánh nước qua lại luôn, làm rộn trí anh. Nước đọng vũng, mấy con vịt đến khoắng mỏ lục sục, hơi bùn tanh nhạt, có khi thối hoắc, xông lên nặc mũi.

Một sự lầm lỡ đã đầy đọa Mân đến cảnh này. Chắc mấy người hàng xóm của Mân chẳng ai ngờ rằng cái ông giáo quèn vừa về sống cạnh họ và có bộ xơ xác, đã có lần quản trị hàng vạn bạc. Trước, Mân chung mở đồn điền với một người cùng huyện tên Bạc Hói. ồ, đó không phải một tên Tàu, hay Cao Miên. Nhưng lẽ ra – sau này Mân hối hận và nghĩ lại – với một cái tên như vậy, Mân phải đề phòng hơn mới phải. Có những cái tên hình như tiền định. Hắn hói mất nửa đầu, nên có biệt danh ấy. Tên Bạc cũng chẳng hay ho gì, khi nó dùng để ghép những chữ kép như: bạc ác, bạc bẽo, bội bạc.

Quả nhiên, Bạc Hói lừa Mân. Hắn nắm được một chỗ hở của Mân, đâm đơn kiện và tranh lấy cả đồn điền. Mân thu vét tiền còn lại để theo kiện, nên bây giờ nghèo xơ xác. Mân có của người kinh doanh cái óc bao quát công việc và cái khiếu đón đầu thời cơ. Nhưng anh đã tin người quá. Bao nhiêu những nhà doanh nghiệp đều có quả tim khô khan và khóe mắt nghi kỵ. 1 – Nhật Bản

Phụ nữ Nhật Bản thường rất ngại ngùng khi nói về vấn đề tình cảm, nhưng trong ngày lễ tình nhân họ sẽ là người thể hiện tình cảm của mình với người mình yêu bằng những món quà đặc biệt – thường là sô cô la.

Truyền thống tặng sô cô la này ở bắt đầu ở Nhật Bản từ năm 1936 khi công ty bánh kẹo Morozoff ở Kobe đăng quảng cáo đầu tiên vào ngày lễ Tình nhân. Morozoff đã đăng quảng cáo này trên một tờ báo tiếng Anh ở Kobe để thu hút những người nước ngoài vì họ thường kỉ niệm ngày lễ này.

Đến những năm 1970, một hình thức quảng bá mới với ý tưởng từng loại sô cô la có ý nghĩa thể hiện tình cảm riêng. Có loại sô cô la dành cho đồng nghiệp, bạn bè, người thân; có loại dành cho người yêu và cả loại dành cho cả bạn bè là nữ giới.

Trong ngày lễ tình nhân 14/2, nam giới sẽ ngồi và hưởng thụ những món quà từ nữ giới. Và đến ngày 14/3 – Ngày lễ tình nhân trắng, nam giới sẽ trả lời đối với lời bày tỏ của nữ giới. Người Hàn còn gắn những ngày 14 khác với chuyện tình yêu như là: 14/1 – ngày lễ bên cây nến, 14/2 – ngày lễ tình nhân, 14/3 – ngày lễ tình nhân trắng, 14/4 – ngày lễ tình nhân đen, 14/5 – ngày lễ hoa hồng, 14/6 – ngày của những nụ hôn, 14/7 – ngày bạc, 14/8 – ngày xanh, 14/9 – ngày dành cho âm nhạc, 14/10 – ngày dành cho những ly rượu, 14/11 – ngày dành cho những bộ phim, 14/12 – ngày dành cho những cái ôm.

3 – Đài Loan

Ở Đài Loan, người ta cũng có ngày 14/2 và 14/3 như ở Nhật Bản và Hàn Quốc. Nhưng, vào 14/2 thì nam giới sẽ tặng sô cô la cho nữ giới và nữ giới sẽ đáp lời vào ngày 14/3.

4 – Đan Mạch và Na Uy
