come play on imacs with us~~ ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ♪

join us at the MADE for a y2k-inspired LAN party celebrating old computers, weird games, experimental art, and the joy of being online together, in person.

created by game designer and vintage-computer rescuer paizley lee (kidgrandma), dead internet theory began with a journey across the country to save a rainbow of colorful imac g3s. She’s since restored the computers and transformed them into an interconnected, playable world inspired by the early internet, full of strange games, hidden mysteries, and little surprises waiting to be discovered.

on october 17th, the MADE becomes a playground for old machines, strange games, interactive installations, and the people making weird things with technology today.

recently featured in the LA Times, dead internet theory is part digital time capsule, part experimental art party, and part love letter to the weird, creative internet we grew up with.

Having grown up as a Cambodian immigrant in France, Jean-Baptiste Phou has long explored the challenges and contradictions of the Asian diaspora experience throughout his artistic career. However, up until now, he’s always been careful not to raise issues of sexuality—in particular, his homosexuality. In his recent memoir, Coming Out of My Skin, the artist shifts his focus to examining the role his ethnic origin has played in the construction of his sexual identity and his romantic relationships in a predominantly white environment. An astute observer of the various ways in which his body has been perceived, Phou asks: how does a marginalized person develop emotionally and build, reclaim, and express their sexuality? How does this inform the experience of a queer Asian person navigating predominantly white cultural spaces? In conversation with César Cadabes, Artistic Director for the GLBTQ Asian Pacific Alliance (GAPA) Theatre. Doors at 6:30pm

Oakland-based Adrian West Band is an up-to-six-piece acoustic rock ensemble that plays catchy originals, fun instrumentals, the odd cover song and a little jazz. To some they sound like a cross between Paul Simon and Talking Heads.

Adrian enjoys setting philosophical lyrics to joyful music. His topics may veer a tad dark at times but the underlying music is uplifting, giving the listener a richly layered experience. Whether he’s telling a story about a skinny-dipping episode gone awry or grappling with some major challenge facing humanity, his lyrics are infused with equal parts hope, realism and whimsy.

The night San Francisco dresses gold. Independent designers, founders, and the city’s sharpest dressers pack the Grand Theater for runway, a designer marketplace, talks, and the official after party. Golden celebrates California energy, and the people who make fashion here feel like a movement.

VIP hour opens at 5:00, with Shop the Look alongside it. General admission follows, then a welcome, live guest portraits, and the program on the main stage: a beauty panel with Beauty Crush and Piper Blue, a conversation on brand storytelling and the future of premium fashion, runway from J.Ehren, Jorge Cruz, and Slavine, a fireside chat, a silent auction with Dress for Success San Francisco, a circular-fashion panel, and a couture finale. The after party location is revealed at the close.

General admission is $150 and includes the runway shows, the panel, the marketplace, open seating, and the after party. VIP is $250 and adds a named reserved seat, the VIP lounge, a drink ticket, and a gift bag.

Golden celebrates the new era of fashion in San Francisco, where creativity, individuality, and reinvention continue to shape the city. It honors the designers, artists, models, and creatives who have built a growing fashion community and are giving San Francisco a distinct voice on the world stage. As Vogue World prepares to bring global attention to the city in 2027, Golden recognizes the movement already happening here. San Francisco Fashion Festival has been part of that foundation, creating a platform where fashion, art, and creativity come together. Golden is a celebration of San Francisco fashion today and the golden future ahead.
