La película supone la adaptción cinematrográfica de un cómic de Marvel. El protagonista del filme es el doctor Hank Pym (Michael Douglas, Wall Street 2: El dinero nunca duerme), un bioquímico que utiliza su último descubrimiento, un grupo de partículas subatómicas, para crear una curiosa fórmula. Este fórmula permite cambiar el tamaño de las cosas, algo que nunca antes se había conseguido hacer en un laboratorio.<br />

Hayek interpreta a una mujer que intenta sobrevivir a los asesinos que son enviados por su ex pareja. En el avance podemos ver un poco de la evolución del personaje que comienza con una tímida Everly hasta convertirse en una experta en armas y una mortal asesina.<br />

De la dirección se encargará el consejero delegado de <b>Laika</b>, <b>Travis Knight</b>, en lo que será su debut tras las cámaras, con guión de <b>Marc Haimes y Chris Butler</b> ("ParaNorman"), y se estrenará el <b>19 de agosto de 2016</b>.<br />
